Hey everyone!
After reviewing the analytics through all the platforms I’m publishing on, I’ve noticed readership tends to drop after the first few chapters. As part of my ongoing writing journey, I’m planning some refinements to make the story more engaging. The changes will be focused but impactful:
- Streamlining descriptions while keeping the essential vivid details
- Enhancing Ben’s introduction as a character from the start, the Omnitrix as something more than a plot device from the start, and better highlighting the war’s impact rather than just “something is happening” from the start.
- The Omniversal Index chapters are staying for now, though this might change based on how they serve the story, despite that I didn’t add any of them for decorationTaken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
I can more or less understand why I received a comment “Least Intense Ben 10 Fanfic”
I’m currently balancing this project with other commitments, so I’m looking at late January or early February for completion in addition to the 2 last interlude chapters.
I’m a long-term reader of years, but as the writer, I can’t easily notice my own flaws and areas for improvement without other perspectives. Being transparent - the writing and revision process has been slower than ideal. While I’m learning a lot from writing resources, there’s nothing quite like reader insights to help shape a better story.
For those following along, your thoughts on what works (or doesn’t) would be incredibly valuable for my current revision and the future chapters. I’m committed to delivering the best possible story as far as I can, and your experience as readers is a crucial part of that journey.
Looking forward to sharing the improved version with you all!
(This time the chapters are only getting modified, their numbers won’t change and you will only receive notifications for the two interlude chapters. And this notice will be deleted after.)
