Introduction: A young woman struggles to confront reality as she sinks deeper and deeper into her fantasies. Eventually, she learns how to manage her time but the longing for a more exciting life never disappears. Supernatural events continue to happen which disrupts daily life for humans everywhere. After our narrator graduates university, she joins an academic expedition filled with interesting individuals. The group journeys to a small town in Oregon with intentions of finding out more about the magic that has plagued the world around them. As the story progresses the group begins to learn more about one another and unexpected friendships form. As the academic expedition continues the group finds that not everything is as it seems....
