Introduction: I was recently presented with an opportunity to help run the real world. Yes, the "real" world, the world in which you and I live. The people who approached me claim to "guide" the world in a direction that's beneficial for everybody. The direction is not always well defined, but they do try to steer us away from chaos and they don't shy away from using conspiracies, experimentation and technology to achieve this.They suggested I chronicle my experience here at Royal Road and encouraged me to maximize readership since it may prove to be beneficial later on. I've been led to believe that if I do as they suggest, it is possible for me to rise in their ranks and learn more about them. My official stance is going to be that this is a work of fiction and any similarity to actual persons, locations or events is...purely coincidental. What to expect:- The fourth wall being broken- Current affairs, "real" events and people, just good old boring reality- No magic, aliens, fantasy creatures, unbelievable technology. Until I observe otherwise, I'll assume all laws of nature still hold as one would generally expect them to.- To be honest, I myself am not sure what to expect since this is all unfolding in real time, but I'll try to keep this synopsis updated....
