    Susan suddenly felt bad.

    “Help you?” Dane sneered.


    “Do you think I’m helping you? I just don’t want to see Madisyn sad.


    If something happens to your grandfather, you’ll be sad and when you are, she’ll be worried about you.

    Susan shifted her gaze from the floor.


    She understood what he had just said and epted this reason.

    Her dad still cared about her? She really couldn’t tell.
