Chapter Three : Sleepy


    Falling looked around in the cold and damp hallway. It was night and he left the dining hall, leaving the constant clatter or plates and knives as he continued his search. He was looking for Whisp, she couldn''t sleep unless someone was holding her tight as she let herself fall in deep slumber. He knew her even before they joined the exiled, he knew why she refused to sleep alone, why she was terrified at night. He knew but never said a word. He turned right and opened a window, letting the wind flow inside in a gust of dust. There was a room only accessible by its window, a blocked of cellar that Whisp repurposed as her plan room.     He found her staring at the map pondering on what to do and how to start. He grabbed her and carried her to their room, she accepted her fate and let herself collapse in his arms. Once arrived he helped her change and slipped her in bed before changing himself. He joined her in a tender embrace fiddling with her hair and passing his hand on her back, calming her until she finally fell asleep. Those were the only moments of sweetness and love they let themselves appreciate, and they savoured those moments deeply.
