(changed this a little)A strange phenomenon occurs. The world is left in shambles, and some people develop what is called a Construct. Earth’s biomes and regions are changed, landmasses shifted. New areas, species and powers are introduced, changing the essential ways life is supposed to function and how species are supposed to interact forever. Things that shouldn''t exist do. They ravage the land, making it theirs, and release whichever fate they deem fit onto its previous inhabitants. Many people are left unguarded, ill-prepared and underdeveloped for the new hierarchy of power and are left to die in the rubble that is society, while a new one is built by the strong and ensured by their superiors. But, before that can happen, they’ve got to make sure that they have somebody to build one around.Xander is blessed with a Construct of his own, though he doesn’t yet know it; His life lies in his own hands and the hands of the people around him. Strength is how he survives and helps others do the same. That is his sole objective, after all: help others live through this mess.Ease was never a part of the deal, though. Safety is nonexistent, and thus, strength is required to live.Earth isn''t Earth anymore. It''s something entirely new. Something that''s different. Something dangerous. The world, as we know it, has been forever lost.A slow-burn progression novel with the following elements;Weak-to-strong progression (when compared to the average enemy)A new author (do not expect quality(yet))Uncomfortable, possibly violence and graphic scenes that will be infrequent. This is not a LitRPG. I’m trying to avoid that. Think of this as a trial run of a story where a ‘system’ would fit, but doesn’t exist, and is replaced by this system of power, which trades off the simplicity of being able to directly tell a character how to get stronger for a system where they’re forced to.I want this story to have longevity. Not just for a few pages, but for hundreds of chapters. However, it is just a trial run, so I don’t expect much, and I don’t want you to be disappointed. I’ll try my best to keep you all entertained.
