Orson finally understood why this particr job ss had never been properly awakened.
Hell-level difficulty!n/?/vel/b//jn dot c//om
This was the second hardest level of a task in Infinite Dimensions, one that only those who could defy human limits couldplete. Most yers, even those in hardcore mode, never got the chance to touch it. The wealthiest and most powerful yers, even those who could afford to buy any information they needed, usually gave up on this S-ss job due to the ridiculous requirements, choosing instead to delete their ounts and start over.
Dragon King''s Horn, Titan''s Eye—these super-saint materials sounded so fantastical, they felt more like a myth than reality.
For these yers, with their vast wealth, they could buy any S-ss job, so why waste time grinding for these impossible materials?
"SSS-ss job... Ugh, this is a nice pie in the sky."
In Infinite Dimensions, most S-ss job yers appeared in thete game, like ShatteredCrown''s awakened Forbidden Sorcerer or Usher''s Divine Archer. As for 3S jobs, those were known as god-tier jobs, and though the website had mentioned them, no one had ever managed to awaken them.
And now, Orson was faced with this impossible task. It was hard to tell whether tough or cry.
"Damned chosen one!" Orson muttered angrily, feeling the urge to take immediate action and save the yers from this scam, so no one else would fall into this old man''s trap.
However, just as he was about to act, the attributes of me Fosset popped up in front of him.
Level 80, the same as Ice River, a Saint Swordmaster.
His health wasn''t as exaggerated as Ice River''s, but it was still an astonishing 30 million. Orson''s fiery anger dissipated immediately when he saw the stats.
"Fine, I''ll hold off. When my strength is up, I''ll be the first to wipe you off the map!" Orson cursed inwardly.
Infinite Dimensions was a world where the strong dominated. If you couldn''t win, you had to back off. The truth was, thew of the jungle applied here, and even if he was getting scammed by this old bastard, Orson had no choice but to endure.
"Activate Chaos Magic Tree. It will cost 15 talent points."
A system message popped up, and Orson took a deep breath, calming himself. He knew that this job ss required a lot of talent points, so he wasn''t too surprised by the cost.
It was a one-way street now. If he gave up on the task, he''d never be able to awaken the ss, which would essentially ruin the character he had worked so hard to build. He had no choice but to go forward.
"Congrattions, you''ve be a Junior Chaos Mage!"
The Chaos Magic Tree lit up, withyers of gray mist swirling around it, finally revealing the first basic talent: Chaos Magic Ball.
Orson was surprised. Even after awakening an S-ss job, there was no world announcement. He realized it had to do with the iplete scroll. For now, this wasn''t truly the awakening of an S-ss job.
"Is this an enhancement to regr attacks?" Orson wondered as he checked the talent description.
[Chaos Magic Ball]
Effect: Changes regr attacks to Chaos Magic Ball, where basic attacks/skills will carry the main attributes of water, fire, wind, and earth elements.
- Water Element: Lifesteal, currently level 1: 1% lifesteal.
- Fire Element: Burn effect, currently level 10: 10% burn (maxed).
- Earth Element: Slow effect, currently level 1: 5% slow.
- Wind Element: Attack speed boost, currently level 1: +0.2 attack speed.
"This talent... is a bit ridiculous," Orson massaged his temples. He didn''t want to admit that this talent was overwhelmingly powerful.
[Chaos Magic Ball] essentiallybined the benefits of four elemental types into one, allowing him to trigger four unique effects with each attack.
If these individual talents were used separately, the effects would be pretty average—except for the fire element''s burn damage, which was immense due to Orson''s high mana pool. But whenbined, it was explosive!
The lifesteal from the water element, when raised to level 10, would provide 10% lifesteal. If he dealt several thousand damage per second, the amount healed could easily reach a few thousand!
However, since this was a four-fold talent effect, each upgrade required 4 talent points. To max it out, he would need 40 points. Since zing Burn was already maxed, he still needed 30 more points to max this one.
Orson looked at his second Chaos talent:
[Chaos Chain]
Effect: Fuses multiple elements together, giving a 0.5% chance to trigger a Chaos Chain. For five seconds, the target affected by the chain will take double true damage.
"Double true damage..."
"Well, I can''t deny that this 10,000 gold spent was a bit worth it."
Orson chuckled awkwardly. It was hard to escape the "true fragrance"w. The downside was that it also required 4 talent points per upgrade, and the triggering probability was pretty low.
He had only 10 talent points left, so he maxed these two talents.
In total, maxing both would require 70 talent points. This wasn''t like gaining regr stat points, as each level-up only gave 1 talent point—even for an S-ss job.
Most talent points came from special quests, and Orson had no doubt that he would be able to acquire them.
However, the biggest issue was still the Dragon King''s Horn and Titan Eye.
If he couldn''t get those within six months, no matter how much effort he put into improving his Chaos talents, everything would be for nothing. This was a high-stakes gamble—if he won, he''d get a god-tier job; if he lost, he''d lose everything.
"Whatever, I''ll go with it for now," Orson muttered to himself.
"Good, good! My chosen disciple, as always, my judgment is impable!"
me Fosset walked over with a grin and started fondling Orson''s face like he was examining a piece of meat.
"Of course, who are you, the great sect leader?" Orson forced a smile, clearly irritated with the old man''s condescending actions.
"Yes, yes, my young disciple, your future is in your hands. It''s up to you toplete the tasks within six months!" me Fosset grinned, leading Orson to the next part of his n.
Orson didn''t care about the old man''s antics. Instead, he lifted his staff and fired a basic attack.
The Chaos Magic Ballunched, a burst of elemental magic flying towards the dpidated church.
Fire, water, earth, and wind exploded, triggering multiple effects at once.
The half-copsed wall of the church crumbled.
"What are you doing?!" me Fosset''s expression changed immediately, rushing over to stop him.
Orson moved to the side, coldly smiling, "You wanted to repair the church, right? I''ll help you demolish it first so you can rebuild!"
With that, two stone vines, powered by multiple elements, burst forth from the ground and began wreaking havoc inside the church.
It didn''t take long before the entire church was in ruins, its foundationpletely ripped up. The scene was utter destruction.
Orson wasn''t done yet. He summoned The me Dragon and set the vige on fire. The surrounding vigers rushed out, yelling and asking forpensation.
"YOU!!! How dare you do this?!" me Fosset yelled in fury, his face turning red.
Orson feigned innocence. "Sect Leader, don''t worry. The Chaos Sect is rich and powerful—burning down a few houses is nothing! We need to clear space for the new church!"
"YOU BURNED DOWN WHAT?!" me Fosset''s face turned purple.
Orsonughed loudly, enjoying the moment. He knew the vigers couldn''t hurt him—since he hadn''t attacked any of the NPCs, they wouldn''t retaliate.
"Only a few dozen houses? It''s nothing! The Chaos Church should be thergest and most luxurious in the Empire! Burning the houses is just making space for the new church!"
Orson kept talking, burning down every building in the vige, making sure me Fosset knew that he was in charge.
me Fosset was beyond furious, his blood pressure skyrocketing, as he futilely tried to manage the situation while vigers cursed him out.
