Chapter 123

"Bring Michael over," Charles demanded, his voice cold and edged with unrestrained fury. That man actually had the guts to drug Evelyn.

At the hotel, Michael, under the influence of the drug, had no patience for the bed and instead threw Sena onto the floor as soon as he dragged her into the room. He raised his hand without a moment''s hesitation. "No!" As her screams filled the air, her clothing was torn apart.

Raised in luxury, proud and haughty, Sena could only ever imagine someone like Brooks being worthy of her. The notion of Michael touching her was intolerable.

"Let go of me!" She struggled violently, then swung and managed to p Michael hard across the face. Caught off-guard, he staggered back. Sena seized the moment, and wed at his face with her manicured fingers. This time, Michael grabbed her hand. His eyes were bloodshot, the look of a wild beast that had lost all reason. The more Sena fought, the more savage he became. He raised his hand again and pped her repeatedly.

The ps were ruthless, leaving Sena bleeding from the mouth, dazed and unable to resist as shey on the floor.

For a full hour at the doorstep,

Michael unleashed a brutal assault on Sena. Her tears had dried up, her voice was hoarse from screaming and the excellent soundproofing meant that no one outside could hear her cries for help. Far from attracting rescue, her screams only fueled Michael''s frenzy and he

    became even more violent.

Eventually, Michael lifted Sena from the floor. Her body was limp, like a broken doll. He dragged her to the bed and tossed her onto it. Euphoric in his delirium, he was oblivious to who she was; he only recognized that she was a girl, and right now, he craved a girl. Sena, though dazed and in pain, refused to stop resisting. Frantically, her hands searched around her and found an icy object. It was an ashtray. Her swollen, tear-filled eyes widened in realization.

As Michael grabbed her legs again and dragged her towards him, Sena tightened her grip on the ashtray. As he leaned in, she swung it hard at his head, the force of her blow fueled by deep leathing. At first, Michael didn''t fall His eyes, as bloodshot as hers, glinted with a twisted excitement.

Shocked by his resilience, Sena struck him again without hesitation. This time, the ashtray connected with his forehead. Michael paused as if time slowed, then his body swayed and he copsed onto the bed, blood spurting from his forehead.

Sena''s pupils dted in shock at the sight of blood, and she flung the ashtray from her hand as if it were scalding hot. Without lingering to assess Michael''s condition, she stumbled off the bed, her legs shaking.

Grimacing in pain, she scrambled to

the door, and snatched up her clothes. She dressed hastily, wrapped herself in her coat, and bolted from the room, fleeing the hotel at full speed. It was only once she felt safe from that nightmare that Sena pulled out her phone and dialed Dahlia''s number.

As soon as the call connected, she burst into sobs, "Dahlia..."
