The moment Li Qin Yao opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was her husband''s sleeping face. She rubbed at her eyes a few times and blinked as if in disbelief upon seeing his face.


    Last night, her husband had returned late after he went over to Qi''s residence to discuss something. She had fallen asleep and had not realized when did he came back.


    Her hand reached out to touch his face and after a while, Li Qin Yao leaned in to kiss his face. Just as she was about to retreat, Li Qin Yao felt his hand pulling her closer to him, stopping her from retreating. Then, his kisses rained on her face.


    Li Qin Yao giggled as she felt his breath tickled her skin. "When did you come back?"


    "Just after midnight," Zhang Yu Han said. Because he had just woken up, his deep voice sounded a bit hoarse, adding a little bit of s?xiness to it. He hugged her tightly and buried his face on the crook of her neck. "I found you hugging on my cloth last night." A smile curved on his lips. "Qin Yao, did you miss me?"


    "Un. I cannot fall asleep without you." Li Qin Yao bit her lips. "Then I remember you did something like this the night before our wedding."


    A chuckle escaped him. Zhang Yu Han then planted a few kisses on her neck and shoulder.


    Li Qin Yao put a hand on his ?h?st to pull him away. When Zhang Yu Han lifted his head to look at her face, he could see the slight worry of her expression.


    "What happened last night? Why did you suddenly have to go over Qi''s residence?" Li Qin Yao asked. "Is everything alright?"


    Zhang Yu Han smiled, trying to ease her worry. "It''s fine. Previously, Qi Ming Wei ran into some trouble and this time Granduncle gathered everyone around to ask our opinion regarding his matter. Don''t worry too much. Qi Ming Wei''s problem should be settled soon."


    "Are you hungry?" Zhang Yu Han shifted to get off the bed. "You go and wash up first. I''ll go and ask Auntie Su to prepare something for our breakfast. Later, I''ll accompany you for your check-up, alright?"


    Li Qin Yao nodded. She closed her eyes as he kissed her on the eye and watched as he walked out of the room.


    A while later, Li Qin Yao walked out of the room and saw that her husband was waiting for her at the table. Looking at his handsome appearance, Li Qin Yao guessed that he had taken a shower in the guest''s bathroom.


    Auntie Su greeted her and Zhang Yu Han quickly pulled a chair for her. The couple had their breakfast together and Zhang Yu Han then drove his Cayenne to the hospital.

    "We need to wait for the lab''s result," Li Qin Yao said. Then, her expression changed and there was a slight pout on her lips. "Hubby, I have gained some weight."


    At the thought that his wife was actually showing their child''s behavior, Zhang Yu Han was worried.


    "Isn''t it normal to gain some weight?" Zhang Yu Han asked. "I would worry if you start to lose weight instead. Qin Yao, you are too thin."


    Soon, Doctor Qiao came out of the room. She called Li Qin Yao over to the other side of the room and asked her to lay down on the bed. The gel was spread on her stomach and Doctor Qiao began to move the instrument back and forth as she explained the baby''s development to the couple.


    Zhang Yu Han stared at the screen for a while and thought that the baby''s size had increased since the last time he saw it. At the thought that the child in his wife''s belly was changing every day, Zhang Yu Han could not stop but felt amazed.


    Doctor Qiao helped to wipe the gel off Li Qin Yao''s stomach and smiled. "In our appointment next month, we might be able to see the baby''s gender if we''re lucky."

    "According to the test, the pregnancy is going well," Doctor Qiao said. "Both the mother and child are healthy." She looked at the report again and circled something on the paper. Then, she glanced at the other file and made another circle. "However, I saw some increase in your glucose level and worry that you might develop diabetes."


    Zhang Yu Han glanced at his wife with worry. "Will this be dangerous?"


    "Hmm… it might cause a few complications in the pregnancy if it was not controlled well," Doctor Qiao then explained a few things regarding this matter. "I suggest you control your sugar intake. Then, on your next visit, We will check on your sugar level again and monitor your condition. If there was nothing wrong with it, then, there will be nothing to worry about."
