<h4>Chapter 14 – Capturing the Giant Stone City</h4>

    Finally, six Apprentice Warlocks dressed in gray robes appeared atop the city wall. These six were rogue Apprentice Warlocks whom Viscount Harley went to great lengths to recruit.


    In the Turandot Subcontinent, Warlocks grasped great power and wealth. Official Warlocks would be recruited by some powerful Warlock groups. Very few aristocrats could recruit official Warlocks. Only greater aristocrats of powerful empires may be able to recruit an official Warlock.


    “Grease!” An Apprentice Warlock pointed at a ded robot and cast a level-0 spell.

    But the ded robot just swayed, and then continued to rush forward, unaffected.


    The level-0 spell Arcane Projectiles, which could inflict heavy damage on a Knight rank powerhouse, didn’t do much damage to the ded robot. Instead, a strike from a Knight rank powerhouse was a bigger threat to a ded robot.


    “Acid Rain!” An Apprentice Warlock pointed at a ded robot, and sprayed it with acid.


    Like having a basin of concentrated sulfuric acid poured on it, the ded robot emitted white mist, and potholes were corroded onto the surface of its body. If sprayed by the acid, an ordinary human would have their upper body corroded, and would be rendered incapacitated, suffering great pain. However, the ded robot showed no reaction, and still continued to charge.

    Most of the soldiers of the Giant Stone Castle were part of Viscount Harley’s private troops, and their fighting strength and loyalty were far higher than those of the average soldiers of the Giant Stone City. Thus, only some chose to surrender, while the rest were killed by the ded robots.


    Viscount Harley was just a Knight rank expert, and was soon killed under the siege of seven ded robots.

    After he seized the Giant Stone City and its anciries, the territory under Yang Feng’s control became 100 times bigger. The surroundings of the Giant Stone City were rich in mineral resources. So long as the basic facilities were built, then the number of battle robots he could build per day would increase by 50 times.
