    Today could have been just a normal day, with birds chirping away cheerfully and workers quickly rushing to their workplace.


    But no, today is the day that the world as we know it comes to an end.


    Not from nuclear explosions or an all war against each other.


    But from multiple stray meteors hitting us by chance, it created massive tsunamis and unbelievable amounts of earthquakes around the world.


    It was terrifying knowing that I could die at any moment.


    I was walking around the city the moment it happened, I remember people being in awe of the multiple ''comets'' that majestically flew in on broad daylight.


    But then the explosions came, then the multiple horrifying screams that came with it.


    I was horrified to the point of not being able to move my body.


    A massive tsunami suddenly emerged from the outskirt of the city.

    Cries of children were everywhere but I didn''t notice them because the threat of death was looming behind me.


    I ran and ran and ran, but I was not fast enough.


    The tsunami was always slowly coming closer.


    I ran till my lungs feel like burning, suddenly my legs gave out and I feebly fall.


    I tried to crawl but my energy was gone.


    I watched as the tsunami came closer and closer.


    Until I felt the water violently pushing me around like a ragdoll.


    I tried to swim up, but my body won''t move.


    Then came darkness.


    I woke up and greedily gasped for air.


    My body was weak and I felt like every limb on my body was falling off.


    After taking a few moments to calm my head. Confusion hits.


    ''Why am I still alive?!''


    ''Where am I?!''


    Then relief came.


    ''I am alive? Thank god!''


    ''Thank you for saving me!''


    I stand up to thank whoever it is that saved me only to see darkness.


    Many humanoid silhouettes were flickering in this dark room.


    Fear hits me like waves.


    ''Was I kidnaped while I was unconscious?''


    ''Am I going to be killed?''


    Suddenly a massive light brightly lit up the whole room blinding me in the process.


    A powerful voice suddenly vibrates across the room.


    "Children you are chosen from the many others to compete in my competition."


    After adjusting to the blinding light, I am finally able to see around the room.

    Slowly opening my eyes, I see an amalgamation of blinding light in the middle of the room. Strangely, the lights somewhat resemble a humanoid. Warily looking around I notice that there were more people in the room.


    Other than the strange light, there were 9 people in the room. 5 women and 5 men including myself. They looked like your average human. But, their faces were strangely obscured by a veil of white fog. As a result of that, I wasn''t able to identify them.


    Noticing that everybody''s faces are obscured by the mist, I tried to check if I myself were also the same. But before I had the chance to do that, the voice from earlier once again booms across the room.


    "As you may have noticed, the world that you lived in has faced its end. Because its Creator is reaching his limits. Sadly, your worlds were destroyed as a consequence."


    Finally finding the source of the voice, I found out that it was the blinding amalgamation of lights from earlier. Trying my hardest to look at the blinding light. I found out that it had a mouth. The next second, a terrifying amount of pressure came crashing towards me as it ''look'' at me with its non-existent eyes.The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.


    "Interesting. To not already fall to the ground is admirable. I saved all of you from falling to the depths of the cold void called death because each of you has the qualification to compete on becoming the next Creator."


    ''As I have reached my limits.'' thought the Creator.


    The Creator observed the man called Shiro. His praise from earlier was not a joke. It really was admirable to still be able to stand the pressure that''s emanating from a god, albeit weakened...


    Shiro felt the pressure pushing down on him disappear as the Creator looked away.


    ''What was that?! I almost fainted!'' thought Shiro while panting.


    Seeing Shiro struggling to breathe, the Creator casted a spell and Shiro instantly got better by the second.


    "I am sorry for the inconvenience but I can''t explain all that is happening right now as something urgent is asking for my attention. But just know that all of you will compete with each other."


    "Each of you will become a Demi-god and will rule a piece of land on a specially made world. Kill, befriend, or betray your competitors as you pave your way to become the new creator."


    "You will succeed in becoming the Creator by conquering the whole world."


    While still recovering from the dizziness, Shiro felt his world spin and shake as the Creator transported them to somewhere.


    "I hope you don''t disappoint me."


    Then all Shiro saw was whiteness and the people and the room were gone, including the mysterious and powerful blinding light.
