《Feelings of A God》 Gaze From the Abyss- Anger of God They say anger is bad, they say that there could be no happiness when anger is present. There could be no doubt however that the thing he saw when he opened his eyes had destroyed that perception. Not in the sense of proving the sayings of old wrong, but rather by amplifying the true purpose of anger and embodying those values. A colossus being so enormous it made the universe around it seem inconsequential, its gaze upon him filled with a rage that spoke of raging suns and pupils so black they seemed to be collapsing stars. The surroundings began to physically shudder as sheer rage brought death and war upon the pitiful planets within its sphere of influence. It began to move its arms and only then did he notice that the creature was bound in chains blacker than the pitch darkness of the abyss that stretched across the endless void made weak by the power surging through them that held the very fabric of reality together by restricting the creature whose very existence destroyed all things around. As the creature continued to stir he came to the startling realization, it was awakening, as the chains that held down its power and left it in forced slumber began to creak and stretch the being became suffused in a weak, white light. He began to notice that the light at first cautious, then with ever more intensity spread through the universe as the being rumbled and the abyss like pupils began to swirl with spots of white as the creature awakened. With one final push the being heaved and a river of sparkling ruby like blood appeared around it as the creature''s body solidified into a vaguely human silhouette with the blood turning into a halo that rested on the top of its head. Transfixed he realized that at some point during the creature''s transformation the chains had been burned almost entirely away, the last bit of black on an almost pure white canvas that struggled to hold back what was to come. With a crack reminiscent of shattering glass the chains broke and the creature exploded. Or maybe it was only his imagination and the creature was always everywhere, and the rage was always present, and the light of extermination had always been around him and his mortal coil simply hadn¡¯t comprehended its circumstances and the destruction of everything was already occurring, or had already occurred. The creature, the being, the manifestation of a rage so hot it seemed holy was free. It was free and it knew. It knew that wherever it passed a trace would remain forever, never to fade or heal. As he watched the majesty of destruction before him he knew. He knew and realized it knew as it turned its head towards him the only thing somehow still untouched by it as if a bubble was there protecting him. But as if the creature¡¯s attention were magic, and truly it might well be, he could feel the bubble around him pop and the creature rushed towards him to envelope him, destroy him, cleanse him in its pure rage. He saw it grasp him in its hand and his eyes opened. This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. He opened his eyes and saw a scene so enchanting it seemed incongruous with everything deemed beautiful by the mortal eye. For he was surrounded on all sides and angles by water, yet it couldn¡¯t be water, or rather it could no longer be simply perceived as water. The very particles of the water seemed to be made of the most resplendent joy and happiness given form by auroras of all shades of the color spectrum and more unknown and unimaginably captivating shades. It all danced jubilantly in ever twisting and changing patterns. So enamored with the scenery he was immersed in he never noticed when deep below much further than any eye could see within the only darkness present in the utopia-like scene a slight ripple formed. This ripple spread from the bottom up and wherever this darkness reached the brilliant, dancing particles of water seemed to shudder abruptly and slowly still. By the time he noticed anything, the surroundings had become completely still. Suddenly, he shivered and began to feel an unknown dread appear inside him as he floated alone in the picturesque scene with no noise or movement detectable. Slowly he began to get dragged through the colors becoming a radiant meteorite as he began to pick up speed on his descent towards the unknown. Colors and shapes streamed past him as he looked down and saw a black dot appear, at first so small it could barely be noticed but gradually growing bigger over time. Abruptly, his surroundings blackened as if a light had been switched off. As whatever force was acting on him and a few bright particles continued to drag him downwards he became the only bright spot in a realm of darkness. Eventually, after an inestimable amount of time, he noticed what could only be described as a piece of spiralling darkness blacker than the surroundings around it. Where the darkness could be considered an absence of color, this spiralling force was more than simple lack of color. It seemed to drag all matter and color including the very darkness around it into itself where it vanished. Rather than seeing color he noticed a feeling of unending disquietude seemed to emanate from the black hole. Stomach dropping, he realized that was what it must be, a black hole filled with all the dirty, unwelcomed and unloved particles that the utopia above would not permit. Compressed into one point was the depression, dread, self-hate, fear and more. Above all the existence of a crushing anguish stifled him. It seemed to shred away all his strength. It suffocated all his anxiety and left only despondency in its place. It tore his mental concentration into pieces leaving his mind encumbered and incapable of thought. As he got closer those feelings only got stronger, overwhelming him and looking to devour his entire consciousness. With his view darkening he grew closer yet to the black hole and noticed inside the gaping hole a looming figure made of the same particles that were destroying him. With a long, slender humanoid body and jagged claw like hands it seemed to savor the rushing darkness as one would a delicacy. The creature inside the hole had no defining features outside of a white line that constituted its mouth. It suddenly opened its mouth to reveal rows upon rows of jagged teeth and lunged towards him right outside the black portal that he mistakenly assumed was a black hole. Being dragged towards the creature he watched as its mouth came closer to him and felt his eyes slip closed as the anguish drained the last of his energy, and with a snap his eyes opened¡Did you know this story is from Royal Road? Imagine then if time was a cold, untraceable wind that froze all pain and left the heart an shadow of destruction, unfeeling yet shattered irreparably. He opened his eyes and noticed the color red. It was everywhere, flowing and rushing around him, through him and beyond him. It seemed to follow many pathways, hidden from his eyes but noticeable in the arrangements around him. Suddenly there was an explosion of sound that cut through the gentle hum of the red rivers encircling him. So loud it seemed to reach into his very existence and pull him towards the distant red horizon. A crack appeared then, in the left corner far above him. A gash of blackness interrupting the flowing red around him. So far in the distance he doubted he would notice if it weren¡¯t the only trace of color besides red in this place. The surroundings seemed to surge in that area trying to cover up the blackness with its vibrant reds but quickly gave up and seemed content to flow around the mark instead. Just as soon as everything had settled down, another resounding outburst appeared and with it another crack. This time in the far right above him, while at the same time the first crack seemed to expand further down. Again the surroundings rushed to fill in the sudden gap but were once more helpless to do anything to the new mark that appeared and eventually settled down. As if inspired by the success, a third gash, longer than the other two combined flashed into existence along with a foreboding roar that seemed to shake the core of the world he found himself in. This time, when the red rushed towards the invading gash the other two seized the timing and rapidly spread across the space to come closer to the middle. He watched as the red around the black seemed to slow and darken until it eventually stilled completely and became the same color as the black it was in contact with. It was then he realized that the red was blood, until then moving too fast for him to see anything more than red blurs but made clearer the slower it moved. With each beat it wasn¡¯t a slash of darkness but sections of the warm, moving blood becoming frozen and dark as they stopped moving all together. The red, after suffering from those three attacks seemed a touch lethargic as it meandered around the dead spots around it, unconcerned with their slow spreading. A feeling of coldness began to grip him, emanating from the three dark sections around him. The raw, frigid sensation he felt grew stronger and stronger until suddenly, with an apocalyptic fervor, another sound appeared. This sound, different from the others before it, howled and shrieked like a winter storm, unrelenting in nature and absolute in its destruction. As the fourth expanse of stillness appeared, it spread and connected to the previous three forming a widening area of frozen blackness. He watched, transfixed as the black stillness continued and the feelings of coldness became stronger and stronger transforming the chill he felt to an all encompassing numbness. As the black cracked and spread, the blood chilled and froze leaving everything around him darkened and still. That sense of stillness spread towards him, inching up his body and leaving his thoughts frozen. His eyes slowly frosted over the light in them dimming until...You could be reading stolen content.
