    The fact that it was special had no affect on it when a passing adventuerer scooped it into a bottle. The excited newbie didn''t even bother to examine her new companion in detail. Slimes are an uncommon creature but utterly unnoteworthy.


    Dale watched the world from his little bottle. Even thinking was a struggle. He knew somthing was wrong. Dale couldn''t focus to figure out what was wrong. Dale waited. Dale ate. Dale slowly thought.

    Dale knew the box was weird so once he found it he focused on it. Aftersome time Dale realised the left numbers were how strong he was. The right numbers were how good at being strong Dale was.


    One day Dale was being fed. Dale''s food stopped making him not hungry when he ate a lot. The not hungry food made dale feel like he could be stronger. Dale decided to make the number he was best at being strong with bigger.

    Whenever Dale was fed enough to make his number bigger he did so. Slowly Dale noticed he needed more food to make his number bigger the bigger it got.Dale''s not hungry numbers got bigger which helped, but he needed more food faster than he could keep more food.

    Raising his inteligence stat had helped to clear up Dale''s thoughts. He still felt like he was thinking through a fog but he was sure raising his mental stats would help fix that.


    The only reason Dale had even raised his wisdom stat was becuase of a passing thought. Raising his wisdom seemed to help him remember things more easily.


    Dale''s present concern was that he would need to go to alot of effort to get his wisdom high enough to remember the one thing he wanted to know the most. How he had gone from living a normal enough life on earth to being a slime in a bottle for some junior adventurerer.


    Said adeventuerer was Dale''s second biggest concern. Dale wasn''t oblivious to the fact that he was being treated like some sort of working animal. The girl only seemed to pull him out to clean up animal corpses or to clean an area after toilet time. Dale figured he could safely focus on building up his mental stats while relying on her for protection.

    Dale''s rising stats increasingly brought him out of his stupor and he was begining to feel like a human again. As such he began to question why he hadn''t bothered to look at his traits in more detail, he could feel them right at the edge of his mind, he just hadn''t focused long enough to glean any details.


    Elemental sublimation was simple enough, he could latch onto any material and convert it into magic power. It made him question the wisdom of keeping a slime in a bottle if it could just eat its way out, but Dale''s adventuerer was hardly the only one who kept a bottled slime for convienence.This story has been unlawfully obtained without the author''s consent.     Elemental consitution was a more interesting trait. As it turned out, in Dale''s new reality Slimes are elemntal beings of magic.

    Dale had raised his Constitution stat to try and figure out some of the unknowns of his traits but as far as he could tell it didnt do anything.


    Dale slid out of his bottle with anticipation for his comming meal. Dale had worked up a theory that if he overate he would trigger one of the funtions of his trait linked to his magic pool. Thankfully his adventurer had just killed a large beast with her teammates. Dale would end up sharing the meal with his fellow slimes, and they always ate more than he did, but he was sure it would be enough to acomplish something

    When Dale and his fellow slimes had finished off the animal trash Dale pulled up his stat menu and was pleased with the result. The meal was large enough that he was able to raise his other and with the exception of spirit, he had managed to raise them all a point or two above hi rofeciency with each.

    Toward the end he had gained the mobility skill. The skill itself felt like an empty shell to Dale, more of a framework than any kind of ability. The skill window simply called it a "generic movement skill" told him that it counted as a class skill for him and that increased mastery would create new synergies.
