I am Lengli, from now now on I will post the Noble of the Abandoned Consort here.. Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu (__) ____ ¡¾Chapter One¡¿ Two small buns In a deserted little hut, two thin and skinny children knelt on the floor, guarding an unconscious woman in front of them. The woman did not seem to breathe anymore while being covered with messy hay and two sets of padded clothes. But the clothes were so small that the hands and feet were left bare in cold air. The little boy took off his trousers, ced it in the woman''s feet; this way, he only had a single pair of pants. He sneezed as the wind blew. Timidly, the little girl asked: "Brother, are you cold?" The little boy raised his dirty hands, rubbed her head and said violently: "Your brother is not cold, are you hungry?" The little girl nodded quickly, then shook her head: "My brother, do not go, I''m afraid." It was dark and there was not evenmp there, only the moonlight shone through all the windows, lighting up the little ce slightly. But this weak light was not even enough to drive away the fear of the heart. The little boy whispered: "This brother will be back soon, you obediently guard our mother, understand? Just hold mother''s hand, you will not be afraid." The little girl, having understood, hugged the woman''s hand in her arms, the hand that obviously no longer had a temperature, feeling icy cold like a knife, but she still managed to hold with great strength, and solemnly nodded: "I''m not afraid." The little boy got up and left. Little girl, holding the woman''s hand, called out ¡°mother, mother,¡± as soon as the boy left the hut, as if by that she really could not be afraid. When the little boy came back, he already had two steamed buns in his hand and a little chicken leg in his mouth. He handed the steamed bun to his sister and, holding the chicken leg in his hand, he said with deep regret, "My brother got only one chicken leg, so let''s give it first for mother to eat well. When mother is healthy again, my brother will give you more!" The little girl looked at the fragrant chicken, making her saliva flowed out, but she understood that their mother was sick and needed nutrition more than her. She swallowed her saliva: "Well, I will eat the bun, but brother must eat too." "Good." The boy ate the steamed bun. He thought in his heart, her mother and sister still needed to be taken care of, he could not let them easily starve nor fall. Although it was just a steamed bun, in fact, is already filled their belly full. He ate half and left the other half. Then, he started feeding his mother the small piece of chicken as well as the small piece of the steamed bun. Qiao Wei woke up. Her mouth felt stuffy; she didn''t know who kept things stuffed inside her mouth. The thing that she hated the most is when people awakened her from her sleep; she was trying to screw up the prank guy who stuffed her with a meal, but found herself unable to lift the arm. Her body flicked, and she opened her eyes! God, what did she see? A child! Looking up and down, it is a five-year-old kid, with a long hair and light-colored clothes. Because of the darkness of the night, she could not see his facial features - only that pair of eyes, like obsidian, bright and prating. Intuition told her that this long-haired small dumpling is a boy. Is he the guy who just pranked her on her mouth? Look at the child''s small feature, she could not help but care about him. But it was very strange, herboratory was forbidden to strangers, howe a child ran into here? Qiao Wei spit out the thing in her mouth: "Whose child are you? Where is Mom and Dad?" Look at the child''s small feature, she could not help but care about him. But it was very strange, herboratory was forbidden to strangers, howe a child ran into here? Qiao Wei spit out the thing in her mouth: "Whose child are you? Where is Mom and Dad?" When she spoke, she was scared by her own hoarse voice; she seemed to have done nothing. Also, who turned off the lights? And the heating also stopped! A series of weird thoughts shed in Qiao Wei''s head, causing her a headache. The little boy heard the sound of her cold breathing; knowing that mother is notfortable, he gently asked her: "Mother, where are you hurt? May I rub your knees?" The cold hand covered Qiao Wei''s forehead. This made Qiao Wei turn stiff. "Brother, did mother wake up?" The little girl came up with bright eyes, "Mother!" Two small buns, at the same time called her mother, if this is not someone prank, then - Qiao Wei touched her face; she seemed to be a little fat in all aspects of her body. The face was round like a piece of moon cake. By all means, it is a small melon face! And her hand, it did not really feel like her fingers. Although incredible, but she really crossed over. "Mother, are you alright?" The little girl came gently into her arms, small head rubbing against her neck. Her mother was unconscious for a few days, now that she suddenly woke up, she was very flustered. The little boy was very flustered too, but he, as a man, could not reveal such face as his sister. Qiao Wei felt the worries of the two children. Sigh, she grew up in an orphanage; since childhood, she grew up with a lonely temperament, not knowing how to get along with people. If she raised the children all by herself, how should she take care of these two small buns? She looked dazed. The little boy thought she was cold, held her cold hands, and put it in his mouth so as to blow some warm air. The little girl saw her brother doing this, so she also learned to follow him. This was the first time someone treated her sincerely. In fact, the little guy''s body was even cooler than her; in order to warm her, these two children ced their only cotton dress on her body, especially the little boy, he only wore a single pair of pants. Wouldn''t he feel colder? Such a good child; if she ignored it, she was too heartless. "Mother is alright, no longer ill. Come on, put on your clothes back." The brother wore the clothes by himself, while Qiao Wei helped the little sister to wear. Qiao Wei apparently did not understand the ancient costumes, she tried to buckle for a long time but did not get any sess: "Too dark, I can not see; wait a moment, I will look out to see if there is something to light a fire." But, the original body was too weak. As soon as she got up, she felt a whirlwind and fell back to the ground. "Mother!" "Mother!" The two children were terrified, afraid of thest time the mother fell and no longer woke up. Qiao Weiughed weakly: "Mother is alright, got up too rushed, the brain blood supply is insufficient." Sitting for a while, she turned to the little boy: "Can you help me?" The little boy nodded and helped with Qiao Wei''s hand. "I want to too." The little girl also held Qiao Wei''s hand. Look, God is good to her, God did not let her go across this wilderness to die alone, but sent two little angels to apany her. Qiao Wei''s heart was covered with a stream of warmth; she slowly stood up, from the owner''s baggage, touch of a peasant confrontation, lit the firewood. She buttoned her daughter¡¯s clothes in the bright fire. Then, she turned to look at the two children. Their facial features were very exquisite with watery eyes, and her daughter''s eyes seemed softer; when sheughed, it''s looked like two curved crescent moons, so pure and beautiful. Her son was a bit grim; in his forehead, a natural stream of qi was faintly visible. These two children looked very thin, must be because of malnutrition. Small arms that can be blown by wind, she did not dare to use force on his hand, for fear of identally breaking them. Qiao Wei did not inherit the memory of the original owner, did not know who they were, why mother and children fell into this abandoned hut today, didn''t know where their home was nor their rtives. Even so, these were not important; when she died, none of those people appeared, did not appear also not necessary. From today onward, these children are hers. Qiao Wei ate the remaining half of the steamed bun, and the half of the chicken leg was given to the two siblings; at first the two refused, but after listening to Qiao Wei saying that a patient should not eat greasy things before they be healthy again, the two small mouths then ate the chicken leg together. These cold things, in the future, she would never allow her children to eat, but right now, she had no other choice. The children fell asleep on the haystack after eating, then Qiao Wei covered them with the hay while thinking about what to eat for tomorrow''s breakfast. Why did he not tell the truth? She thought for a moment as her eyebrows frowned, but not bluntly, and then said with a smile, "But mother is not full, so let''s go find something to eat." The little bun bit his lip, "Mother, there is no edible food outside; even though we searched for several days, there is nothing to eat at all." "If there was no food to be found, then you did not eat?" The little bun straightened his body, as the wind blew on his body, he said, "Mother, don¡¯t get worked up; we do not want to see you fall again, mother. We do not need to eat, so you do not need to go looking for food, alright?" Qiao Wei felt her nose sour, smiled a little and replied, "I will not fall again." "But..." The little bun who did not feel at ease could only pout. Qiao Wei stroked the little boy''s head, holding him up after helping him wear his pair of ck shoes; under the dark sky, they went together. The little bun who was held by her trembled; he carefully looked at Qiao Wei, and with a very weak voice asked, "Mother, am I not heavy? Mother, you can put me down okay? I can go by myself." As Qiao Wei held his body, she shook her head, "You are very light, I can hold it." He looked a bit taller, but the body looked like it was just 20 pounds. The little bun shook his head, bit his lips again while his legs moved slightly and said, "Mother, let me down! I want to walk by myself." Although he said so, she knew he was just afraid to press her. Her lips hooked up. She put down the little boy when they reached to the door, she smiled, "Well, I put you down. I will wait for you to get tired, then I will hold you." Small bun nodded, grabbed tightly at Qiao Wei''s hand and happily said, "Mother, let''s go find food." As Qiao Wei was ready to take him and leave, the little bun pulled her sleeve motionlessly and said, "Mother, are you not locking the house?" Qiao Wei squinted and saw the appearance of the small muddy house; in addition to a shabby box in the house, there was nothing to care of, so would it still need a lock. Se shook her head vigorously, waved her hand and closed the door of the muddy house, and punctuated him, "Do not lock, let''s go!" His pupils trembled a little. He took his hand out and ran quickly to the small house next to the muddy house. A few seconds after he rushed in, the little bun came out after closing the door of the little room, and Qiao Wei saw a little iron lock in his hand. Locking the door of the cabin, the little bun returned to the side of Qiao Wei, "Mother, even if the house¡¯s door is not locked, the kitchen¡¯s door needs to be locked. What if someone steals our bowl pot, what to do then?" Thinking of the dirty bowl, Qiao Wei fell silent, ¡®That thing would be stolen?¡¯ Her present home was the kind of typical house where the thief will go in and leave blubbering when he walks out. Qiao W''s current house was at the foot of a mountain. Her homnd was full of arablends, and since it was now summer, the fields were nted with rice, and the rice have been packed into a single package, even though not big. When she saw this rice, her eyebrows twisted while saying, "Little bun, we have a field?" The little bun looked at her and shook his head. "Originally, there was a field, but because there was nothing to eat anymore, everyone moved out." "Oh." Qiao Wei responded with a little voice that could be heard, then dragged the little boy toward the mountain. Small bun was shocked, "Mother, where do you want to take me?" "Up to the mountain." The little bun shook his head, "Mother, do not go, there are tigers in the mountains." "The tiger will not appear in front of us carelessly." "No, thest time we went to the mountain to find food, the tiger appeared." He refuted aloud. Qiao Wei felt helpless, fixed her look at the small bun¡¯s face, "I promise a tiger will not appear this time." Aunt Luo¡¯s impression was that Qiao Wei was a very withdrawn person; after moving to Xiniu vige a year ago, she had interaction with only speaking less than ten sentences to the vigers. She was a woman with two children, so she became very cautious of everything, but too bad, it made the kind-hearted vigers gradually to note and give help to them. It was thanks to the cleverness of Jingyun who went down the mountain to find her, if not she would not have known that both children were starving. Aunt Luo was looking at the Qiao Wei who sincerely thanked her, and remembered the previous scene in the yard. After the incident, she felt that Qiao Wei was not same with the Qiao Wei before; Qiao Wei did not speak to Aunt Luo before nor did she please her to sit at the home. ¡°You, are you alright?¡± Aunt Luo responded while struggling to suppress her shock.i Qao Wei smiled and said tenderly, ¡°I am good, I walked out of the gates of hell, now that I have figured out a lot of things, I could not live as before; I still have to look forward. With these two children, I can¡¯t let myself continue to sink.¡± Actually, she was not aware of what kind of person the original owner was, but through the messy kitchen and yard, she could vaguely determine that the original owner didn¡¯t live a full life. Afterall, she was a different person, and her style of work was very different from the original, which required a reasonable exnation. Aunt Luo apparently epted this kind of exnation. She patted Qiao Wei¡¯s hand, ¡°You have figured out, and the thought was good.¡± Qiao Wei bowed her head, felt ashamed of herself and said, ¡°I have decided to live well, but I don¡¯t understand a lot of things; I would like to ask aunt Luo about it, so please don¡¯t feel bothered, Auntie.¡± Aunt Luo was also kind-hearted, and Qiao Wei had two children wandering here, that is, she persuaded the vige chief to be collected on the mountain. Qiao Wei now humbly asked her advice, so she did not need to hide the truth. "First, you say about that field..." In the process of being taught by aunt Luo, Qiao Wei had a new understanding of their own situation, that is - she, however, also possessed a field! To say, in the past life, Qiao Wei was absolutely dismissive of this idea; she could take tens of thousands every month, so how could she be willing to go to field? But now, she was starving, and what was left now was a field for sustainable farming! She was so thankful! Of course, this field is not provided for free to Qiao Wei, but she needed to pay a certain rent; it was understandable, since she was not the people of the vige, and also wanted to upy the small piece of field of the vige, how could it be possible!u Aunt Luo not only taught Qiao Wei about farming, but also talked about vigers, which was about what she can going with, what is the best and correct things to do, ¡°.. Liu Cuihua¡¯s grandmother and the vige chief are cousin, the two persons can be considered rtives, hence she usually called the chief as brother.¡± Originally was the vige chief¡¯s rtive, no wonder she was so arrogant. ¡°But she seems to be afraid of you,¡± Qiao Wei said. Aunt Luo smiled, ¡°She is not afraid of me, but she does not want to provoke me!¡± Anyway, since you are a thigh, I have to hold onto it tightly. Near midday, Aunt Luo left the house. Qiao Wei personally sent her to the mountain pass, and along the way, aunt Luo said: ¡°You don¡¯t need to send me, the children are hungry, so hurry and go cook!¡± The rice tank in the kitchen was already empty, only half a kilo of flour was left; even it were boiled up, it won¡¯t be enough to eat. So, Qiao Wei decided to go to the field to sightseeing. ¡°I¡¯m going too,¡± Qiao Jingyun said. Last time, when his mother on the field, she fell. He was afraid that she would fall again, so he wanted to protect their mother. Qiao Wangshu also hugged Qiao Wei¡¯s arms. ¡°Mother, I also want to go!¡± The mountain road was not easy to pass; Qiao Wei wanted to leave the children at home, but on the other hand, this was a mountain; in case a beast or something others breaking in for food how to do. The children shouldn¡¯t be grounded everyday, it was not good. So, Qiao Wei took them out. The small buns were very happy to go out with their mother. The daughter was much extroverted, jumping up and down in the front, while the son was much restrained, pretending to be a little gentleman in front of Qiao Wei. Qiao Wei stroked his son¡¯s head, ¡°Why don¡¯t you go y with your sister?¡± Qiao Jingyun answered in a serious manner, ¡°I don¡¯t want to be childish!¡± Qiao Wei could not help butugh to his cute son who was pretending to be a mature man. She hugged him up, and gave his little face a kiss. Qiao Jingyun¡¯s little face quickly turning red, bowed then said, ¡°Ah, you.. What are you kissing me for?¡± ¡°You are my son, of course I can kiss you,¡± said Qiao Wei dearly. Qiao Wangshu who watching her mother kissing her brother, also ran over to get a kiss. She felt very delighted to get a kiss and then walked away with a hop. ¡°Why did my sister also get?¡± ¡°Because your sister is also mother¡¯s child, so mother also loves her.¡± Qiao Jingyun understood that his mother only kissed her own children. But a few months afterward, he witnessed mother kissing another man, a very tall man with facial features which looked like him. He thought that he was also her mother¡¯s child. What else it could be if the mother kissed him? Why else did he look so much like himself? He was so happy to call the man brother, and as a result, the man beat him; he did not understand what was going on. Not to mention, at this time, Qiao Jingyun was nest in radish, with his sister pulled radishes. The viger rented Qiao Wei a field at the hillside of a small radian, the trip was less than an hour, because of the snow, their trip was a bit slower. The field was notrge, as one could see it was just two acres. They were all white radishes. The radish could be nted all year around, the survival rate was also high; for people who were starving to death, this radish could not be more appropriate. This season¡¯s radish also had been received, even though the remaining amount wasn¡¯t much, Qiao Wei and the children could pull out more than twenty radishes. These were their stocks for the winter. Thinking about the emptied rice cylinder, and the two malnourished children, Qiao Wei¡¯s heart ached. They were small grown up bodies, how can eat radishes everyday? She must find a way to provide some nourishment to them. Chapter 4

Chapter 4 - Hunting For The First Time

Qiao Wei returned with the children to the yard at the noon; the blowing wind was quite cold, but the three people under the shine of the sun were slightly covered with thin sweat. The three people were a little tired; sitting on the bench panting, Qiao Wei put the basket back on the ground, and fetched some water to wash the children¡¯s hands. After washing their hands, she touched the two little heads: "Hungry? Mother will cook.¡± Qiao Jingyun quickly said, ¡°I will help mother wash the rice.¡± Qiao Wei did not dare to tell the children that they had no rice in the rice cylinder anymore, so she smiled and said: "No need to wash rice, mother will cook a radish cake for you to eat! If you really want to help mother while working, then wash these radishes, mother will fetch other things to make a radish sauce.¡± Qiao Jingyun happily took over the four white radishes handed over by Qiao Wei; he squatted down at the edge of basin water, and carefully washed it up. Qiao Wangshu, seeing her brother doing the wash, tidied up her sleeve to help with the business. Four-Year-old girl, how could she be so sensible? Qiao Wei saw Qiao Wangshu as if to have seen her own years in the orphanage, but she suffered because she had no father nor mother, while Jingyun and Wangshu still had a mother in person, so why would they suffer such hardship? Qiao Wei wiped her red eyes and turned back into kitchen. In the orphanage, someone can eat full, but if one wanted to eat well, that depends on luck and ability; she couldn¡¯t fight over a few big children, but she had her own way of survival. She often goes to the kitchen to help, washes the dishes, washes vegetables, cuts vegetables, and grabs the job. Adults seeing her well-behaved nature, they secretly feeded her a few bites of meat each time. She learned to please others when she was very young, but she didn''t like her children also growing to be such people. Washed the radish, peeled and chopped, mixed with fermented flour rolled into a piece of small cake with a big palm-size. She remembered that this morning they still had a few unfinished carrots, so Qiao Wei cut a few curved crescent moon shapes from the carrots, sticked it to the cake; thus, the radish cake became very well-packaged. When Qiao Wei put a whole te of crispy fried radish cake on the table, the two children instantly shouted out. Is it really a radish cake? Why did it not look like a radish cake?. Qiao Wei¡¯s cooking skill was not bad, and with such a lovely pattern, the two little buns just stuffed it into their tongue together. Watching the two children eat so happily, Qiao Wei was gratified but also sad: "Now we can only eat these, but believe in mother, soon we can eat meat." In the afternoon, Qiao Wei decided to take a trip to the forest to see if there is any gain. She heard aunt Luo mention that the vige has a hunter, all the year round in the hunting, can be seen in the woods is indeed able to touch things. Of course, hunting is a very dangerous thing, Qiao Wei dare not take the children; after some hesitation, she took the children and the radish cake to aunt Luo¡¯s house. Aunt Luo is very willing to help Qiao Wei taking care of the children, but she does not agree with Qiao Wei going to hunt: "Too dangerous, you are a woman, how can you learn like a men to hunt in the mountains?" The food chain is scarce in winter, and the beasts were at the edge of starvation, which is more dangerous than the beasts of summer and autumn. Aunt Luo''s worry was not superfluous, but aunt Luo does not know that Qiao Wei is not the former woman that as weak as a peasant girl. Aunt Luo couldn¡¯t shake Qiao Wei but thought a way to draw her back: "You want to hunt, I have no opinion, but you wait until Dazhuang is back as I will let him take you; he went to the town to sell hare and may return tonight." Xu Dazhuang is the hunter of the vige. Qiao Wei didn''t want to owe people, not to mention oneself also couldn''t afford, so she politely declined the kindness of aunt Luo, and went into the forest alone. Qiao Wei¡¯s tools were not enough; in the beginning, she did not set the target too high. Catching a pheasant or hare, she would be quite satisfied. Qiao Wei followed the footprints on the snow to find a rather secluded and fertile ce, opened the cage and ced some carrots and earthworms as the bait to lure some prey in. These were used to trap hares and pheasants, and to see which ones took the bait first. Qiao Wei found a suitable tree and climbed to the trunk to wait. Probably it was her lucky day, she saw a stupid rabbit sneaking into the cage when she was not long sitting on her butt. Then, she heard the snapping sound and the cage door was closed. Qiao Wei went down and put the stupid rabbit into her bag. After a while, another stupid rabbit got into the trap; Qiao Wei still ced the rabbit¡¯s trap, but after harvesting three rabbits, no rabbit was fooled afterward. Qiao Wei saw that the day was still early, so she wanted to change a ce to hunt another rabbits. She found a pheasant¡¯s footprints on the snow, but halfway through, she suddenly heard the thunderous roar of a beast. She was a little guarded girl, and instinctively felt great danger. She threw the cage to the ground and climbed the tree up with her bag on the back. A yellow adult tiger sprang up, chasing a less than half a meter of small white dumpling. The small white dumpling¡¯s reaction was quick and sensitive; no matter how the tiger fluttered, it jumped its w and scratched the tiger''s face, leaving a few bloodstains there. The tiger waspletely angered; it roared, until it startled the jungle birds. The small white dumpling, as if also being frightened, scratched again for the second time, but this time, it was in empty air. This let the tiger catch the opportunity, giving the white little thing a p down. The mall white dumpling instantly flew over, hit the tree heavily, and then it fell into the snow heavily too; it couldn''t climb up. The tiger¡¯s situation was not optimistic either, so it just ran fast. Qiao Wei did not see the whole fight, and now it was quiet. Qiao Wei found the hind limb of the tiger injured, no wonder the small white dumpling could y in a roundabout manner. After he avenged, the tiger¡¯s mood began to calm down, and leisurely walked toward the small dumpling. Small white dumpling should be dead, Qiao Wei thought. But the next second, the ¡°has been dead" small white dumpling jumped up, slipped to climb the tree up. Qiao Wei cried in silence: Little buddy, there were so many trees, why climb up my tree? The small white could not climbed further, directly flew into Qiao Wei¡¯s bosom, and the small ws clung into Qiao Wei''s skirt; it could not be pulled out. The tiger then found out an "aplice" in the tree and roared over the tree. Ah ah ah, big brother you don''t hit, if you go on to hit the tree, then I might fall! The tiger did not react for a moment and began to climb the tree up. Qiao Wei was going crazy, weren¡¯t tigers incapable of climbing trees? Why did this mane up? The tiger''s limb was injured, so it climbed with great difficulty; but in the end, it climbed up slowly, one meter, two meters... ____ Note: In the novel, the little white dumpling was written as С°×ÍÅ×Ó (xi¨¤o b¨¢i tu¨¢n zi). As In dictionary, the b¨¢i word could be tranted as a mynah. But, I am not sure either what exactly this small thing is. Chapter 5 Chapter 5, Rich harvests Qiao Wei wanted to rip that little dumpling¡¯s heart alive, ¡®you say, you provoking the other is already no big deal, must go provoke a tiger? With this tiny size of yours, are you that mountain king''s opponent? Do you want to die? And what are you doing in my arms? Do we know each other?¡¯ The tiger now recognized the cowardly human and the shameful little thing as a gang, don¡¯t mention how much anger it had, it wanted to bite those two to their deaths to vent its hatred! Qiao Wei felt the tiger¡¯s killing intention, she thought that it was best to put the small white dumpling aside. Being "framed" by the nted goods, she didn¡¯t think that the enraged tiger would let her off. It seems that a fierce battle is inevitable. In the past life, Qiao Wei had only seen tigers in the zoo; those tigers and lions were in the transparent ss walls and were domesticated, no longer having the wild instincts of a beast, so when she looked at them, she did not feel afraid. But right now, a living, pure natural animal that did not receive any domestication was in front of her, so she must fend for herself in front of the ancient tiger that suddenly appeared. To be exact, it was under her feet, she realized the cruelty of the jungle now. Its hind limbs were full of blood, and it had lost its physical strength, but it could not stop itself from attacking its prey as its authority could not be defied, even if the process of defending cost its life. This was beastly nature. Qiao Wei was sweating profusely; less than a metre away, the tiger could bite her feet. Of course, she also clearly felt the tiger''s drag, although the tiger was a cat, in the end the pressure was too big, and climbing trees on its toes had caused arge damage; generally, after climbing one or two meters, it would have fallen, not to mention its two hind legs had been injured, so reaching this height is likely to be its limit. Qiao Wei was thinking whether she would like to bet? Bet that it''s going to fall in the next second... But what if it does not fall, this moment of hesitation, perhaps brewing their own tragedy. Did she enter into the ancient times just to be swallowed into the beast¡¯s belly? How could it be? Qiao Wei¡¯s pupils shed resolutely and touched the sickle between the waist. She was proficient in surgery and knew where to cut to kill in a single blow. The difficulty is, her mind still possessed the past life¡¯s cognition: South China Tigers and Siberian tigers were national level protected animals. Is she really going to kill the first-ss protected level animal at the Great China? If it were the past, she would have to gone to jail certainly. Soon, Qiao Wei discovered that all of her fears were in vain, because when the tiger climbed high enough to bite her, her body had taken the most honest reaction to her thoughts. In the next second, her hand shed a knife, fishy red and warm blood sshed over her face, the tiger fell straight down, smashed a huge pit in the snow, and the pit was soon dyed red. Qiao Wei recovered, or because the small dumpling at the bosom excitedly sounded "cluck-cluck!" Qiao Wei was still immersed in shock after killing a tiger, it was to be noted that the little thing nearly killed her. She had just cut the carotid artery of the tiger, so the possibility of the tiger''s survival was zero. Thus, she was relieved to go down from the tree. The little white dumpling heeled over behind her. Qiao Wei footsteps were lofty that small dumpling didn''t halt its steps and hit Qiao Wei¡¯s legs. Qiao Wei then carefully looked at it. This thing was a pure white ferret - fluffy and looked very young. But it was so hateful, even a tiger had been killed by it. Little white dumpling probably didn''t realize Qiao Wei was med it, rather it thought that Qiao Wei was admiring it. The small dumpling then straightened its small chest, showed off his chest muscles, and turned around, in order to allow her to bask on its noble and beautiful tail. Qiao Wei raised her leg and kicked away the little thing making it fly away! Little white dumpling: "Aw!" Qiao Wei did not care anymore about the idle ferret and squat down at the tiger''s location. She went up the mountain originally just with the intention to give the children a pheasant or a hare for supplementary nutrition, but she never expected to hunt a tiger. Of course, this was also thanks to the fact that the tiger itself was injured and climbed the tree while the environment wasn¡¯t fit for oneself, the benefit of timeliness, and favorable geographical condition that the tiger itself did not have, thereby asking her to pick up the cheap bargain. The tiger whole body itself was a treasure, it should be able to sell a good price, right? By selling it, the children would be able to eat white rice. Qiao Wei made up her mind to bring the tiger back home, but because of fear of damaging the tiger¡¯s skin, she even carried it on her back, exhausting herself! After that, Qiao Wei cleaned herself and went down the hill. Qiao Wei divided the rabbits and gave two to aunt Luo, only leaving one for oneself. She thought, if the tiger could really be sold, she and the children would not be hungry this winter, and it was only two hares. Aunt Luo was their benefactor, her goodwill must be reciprocated. But then, aunt Liang refused to ept: "I still could eat, but just give the children as a stew, look at the children who are so skinny!" Qiao Wei showed a faint smile and said: "They already have other things to eat, you can rest assured." Hesitating a moment, she the said about the tiger¡¯s matter to Aunt Luo. "I am just a neer not familiar with the surroundings, I still need to rely on Aunt Luo on how to sell the tiger.¡± Aunt Luo was shocked for three seconds, then grabbed Qiao Wei''s arm: "You... You... Did you hunt a tiger? Are you alright?¡± Qiao Wei smiled and shook his head: "I''m all right. I was lucky to find that the tiger was injured, it was dying but also wanted to eat me... Even if I was going to die, I decided that we must die together...¡± She tried to exaggerate theposition of the luck, to let aunt Luo not to feel too abrupt. Aunt Luo felt really strange. A person that couldn¡¯t even kill a chicken, how all of a sudden killed a tiger, but if the tiger itself was dying, that would be reasonable. ¡®This girl''s luck is very good¡¯ was what she thought in her mind, but the mouth replied: "Too dangerous, you must not go into the mountain again!" Qiao Wei understood aunt Luo¡¯s good intention, what aunt Luo said, she will obediently obey it, "Well", "Know", "is" ¡ With a well-behaved and gentle appearance, like a docile kitten, or a delicate and beautiful cat, letting people feel that she should not have such a life of discement... Aunt Luo grumbled tillst, scolded till she couldn¡¯t scold anymore; in her heart, she thought if she had a daughter, she would love to put her in the palm of her hand ah, so how could Qiao''s family be willing to drive her out? Aunt Luo secretly sighed, said: ¡°Dazhuang hunted a tigerst year and sold it for a lot of money. If you want to sell, I will go to ask about it for you.¡±

  2. G¨¥ - Older brother; can be used as a term of endearment with close male friends.

Return of the Noble Abandoned Consort ?6. The First Ie X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng lived alone in the vige; his parents passed away early from illness, and while he has an older sister, she has already married out when she was in herte teens. Previously, he also tried his hand at taking care of the fields but had no skill and ended up killing off all the crops. He couldn¡¯t always count on his older sister so with no other option, he entered the mountains and started hunting. It¡¯s been over ten years since. At first, he could only hunt hares and pheasants. But gradually, after learning how to use the bow, he was able to also hunt weasels and deer. He has also hunted wolves and foxes before. After all, the more fierce the beast, the higher the selling price. The year before, he came across a dying tiger. That tiger was already dying naturally, even if he had not made the final strike, the oue would have still been the same. He thought Qi¨¢o W¨¥i¡¯s situation was the same as his own as he followed her and Aunt Lu¨ into the mountain. However, he went numb with shock when he saw the body of the powerfully-build, adult tiger. ¡°This... this... was this really killed by you?¡± X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng was bbergasted. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i smiled in embarrassment. ¡°To say that I killed it isn¡¯t exactly urate,¡± she said, fear still lingering in her voice. ¡°It was already hurt and was about to die. So when it climbed up the tree and its neck was extended towards me, I anxiously shed down in its direction and it ended up like this.¡± While Aunt Lu¨ could not imagine the image, X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng was a hunter and could easily see the picture her words were paining. While unfavorable for the tiger, he would have done the same thing had he been in the same position. But he was a hunter, he knew how to kill a tiger. Xi¨£o (1) Qi¨¢o, on the other hand was a woman. How could her single, panicked strike have been so urate? If her strike had missed by even a little bit, the one dead would have been Xi¨£o Qi¨¢o. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i saw that X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng was staring at the wound on the tiger¡¯s neck and knew that he was probably suspicious. The strike from her knife was simply too urate. Forget a weak woman, there weren¡¯t many who could pull something like this off even if it had been a man. But she could not tell the truth; after all, she was not the original Qi¨¢o W¨¥i but Doctor Qi¨¢o from the 21st century, someone who had used knives everyday. ¡°I was terrified to death,¡± she stammered. ¡°I really thought I was going to die.¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i lowered her head, her slender fingers picking at the corner of her sleeves. Light from the setting sun shined down onto her thin figure, her slightly exposed neck was white and delicate; her entire being seemed like it could break with the gentlest touch. This kind of young woman, if it wasn¡¯t for her good luck, would have long since been in the tiger¡¯s stomach. X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng shook his head, felt that his initial suspicions were superfluous. ¡°In the future, don¡¯t go into the mountains again,¡± he told Qi¨¢o W¨¥i, which only reiterated what Aunt Lu¨ had told her before. Knowing that their advice wasing from a good ce, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i gave a gentle nod. ¡°I understand, D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng G¨¥ (2).¡± D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng G¨¥? X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng was stunned for a moment. Younger vigers all address him like that but this was the first time he has heard it from Xi¨£o Qi¨¢o¡¯s mouth. Xi¨£o Qi¨¢o seemed to... be different from before. While still as delicate and weak as before, it was no longer annoying. X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng carefully checked over the tiger. ¡°This one is better than the one I had from before,¡± he said. ¡°Then Da Zhuang G¨¥, how much do you think it can sell for?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i asked. X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng thought for a moment. ¡°It¡¯s hard to say,¡± he finally answered. ¡°It really depends on how much the buyer is willing to offer. But there¡¯s little prey during the winter so it should be able to sell for higher than usual. Besides, this is also a strong, adult tiger and its skin is in good condition.¡± He held up two fingers, ¡°I¡¯ll try my best and sell it for you for this price.¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i blinked. ¡°Two hundred taels?¡± X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng gave a confused expression. ¡°Two thousand taels?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i asked, her heart pounding. Was the tiger really so valuable? Heavens, she struck gold! ¡°Twenty taels.¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i felt as if a bucket of cold water had been poured down onto her. ¡°Da Zhuang G¨¥,¡± she said, her small face darkening. ¡°Howe it¡¯s only twenty taels? This is a genuine tiger. Do you know how much treasure you can find on a tiger¡¯s body? Its kidney can cure tuberculosis, its gall dder, epilepsy, its tendons, rheumatism, its meat and skin, mria. Its eyes can also help clear up vision, tiger paste can be used to treat hemorrhoids, and its penis can help strength the male¡¯s yang. Besides, there¡¯s also tiger cream, tiger bone, tiger teeth... not a single part of the tiger is not medicine!¡± X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng smiled. ¡°Of course I know, that¡¯s why I¡¯m telling you that can I sell it for twenty taels. My previous tiger was only sold for ten taels.¡± When Qi¨¢o W¨¥i heard the tens and twenties, she felt that it was very little. However, after Aunt Lu¨ exined the local prices to her, she figured out that a single tael in this dynasty was equivalent to six hundred yuan in modern times. That meant twenty taels was about sixteen thousand yuan. In modern times, a single tiger could sell for a high price of three hundred thousand yuan but that was because tigers were a protected species and if caught hunting them, one must go to jail. In ancient times, tigers were abundant. If one wanted to hunt them, then they could go hunt so the value cannot really bepared. With this in mind, twenty taels really isn¡¯t small at all. She shed a small smile. ¡°Da Zhuang G¨¥, if it¡¯s twenty taels then it¡¯s twenty taels. If you manage to sell it for more, then it¡¯s all yours.¡± The result between freebor and paid work would obviously be different. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i was not a greedy person. Besides, she wanted to continue doing business with X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng in the future so it was best to let him taste some sweet sess first. X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng was naturally happy to agree. Right before leaving, he nced into the central room of her house and pointed, ¡°If you want to sell that, I will be able to sell it for a high price.¡± That...? Qi¨¢o W¨¥i followed the direction of X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng¡¯s finger. It was actually that damned small, white dumpling! How did ite? It was even standing between her two children, gracefully showing off its small pectoral muscles and biceps. Qi¨¢o W¨¤ng Sh¨± pped her hands cheerfully It turned even more shameless, turning this way and that to show off its charming tail. At this point, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i¡¯s face was practically green. ¡°However much, just take it and sell it!¡± When the small, white dumpling heard that it was going to get sold, its small paws shuddered and it threw itself into Qi¨¢o W¨¤ng Sh¨±¡¯s bosom. Qi¨¢o W¨¤ng Sh¨± held the tiny creature close to her chest and felt her heart break as she rubbed the soft fur on its cheeks. ¡°Mother,¡± she said in a small voice. ¡°It¡¯s so cute, can I raise it?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i could only gnash her teeth together.
X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng was worthy of his title as the ¡°four ocean and eight wilderness¡¯¡± sole hunter. Without dy, he went into town the very next day to sell the tiger. When it got dark, X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng was excitedly making his way into Qi¨¢o W¨¥i¡¯s courtyard. ¡°Xi¨£o Qi¨¢o, quicklye out and see.¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i was currently making dinner; she had only stewed half of that afternoon¡¯s rabbit and was nning on roasting the remaining half. She had just finished setting up a bonfire in the middle of her courtyard when she saw X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng. ¡°D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng G¨¥,¡± she greeted as she stood up. X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng pulled out a bag of money from his robe. ¡°Count them, a total of thirty taels!¡± ¡°So much?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i¡¯s eyes were wide as she took the bag. Truthfully, she did not know how to count ancient currency but she knew that X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng would not lie to her. She pretended to swipe around the taels a few times before handing the bag back. ¡°Da Zhuang G¨¥, didn¡¯t I already said twenty taels? Take the rest for yourself.¡± ¡°I¡¯ve already taken it,¡± X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng said as he scratched his head with a small smile. He pulled out another bag of money. ¡°I met someone of high rank who gave me thirty-five taels. I took five taels so keep the rest for yourself.¡± ¡°How can I ept this?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i countered. ¡°We already agreed that I would take twenty taels. The fact that the tiger was sold for thirty-five taels is due to your skill. If it had been me, it would not be possible.¡± This was the truth, a lone woman going out to sell a tiger? Avoiding getting robbed was already considered good, much less actually managing to sell it. However, X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng was not willing to ept this. Normally, he could barely make five taels a month. Selling the tiger was merely running around for someone else. It was better not to be too greedy and to be a good person. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i saw that he was resolute in his decision and did not want to continue arguing. Instead, she invited X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng over for dinner as a thank you. But who expected that this simple dinner would cause something bad to happen?

Glossary 1. G¨¥g¨¥ - Big brother
Return of the Noble Abandoned Consort 7. The First Lesson After Qi¨¢o W¨¥i got money, she began a daily routine of counting it since she now knew how to do so. From one to ten taels, she noticed that this dynasty¡¯s currency had a strict set of standards. Broken taels were pulled and did not generally circte in the market. Previously, from reading novels, female characters would just randomly pull out twenty silver ingots. Forget twenty ingots, even if it was only ten of them, she wanted to see it in person. In modern times, a single tael was equal to 50 grams but in this dynasty, it was only 37 grams. Five grams, along with ten taels of silver was about 375 grams altogether which was roughly a single catty. It was actually a bit heavy; the weight of twenty taels could bepared to that of a brick¡¯s. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i could not imagine a young woman taking a brick out from the pockets of her inner robes. The current dynasty not setting a higher level of ingot currency was rather sensible. Of course, this was only true formercial use, official government currency was different. ording to X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng, a single ingot could equal up to fifty taels. An ingot worth fifty taels... Just thinking about it made Qi¨¢o W¨¥i suck in a breath in case she started drooling on ident. After counting the money, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i opened up her ount ¡°book¡± in satisfaction. Ancient ink was expensive so there was not any in the original owner of her body¡¯s home. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i could only use t chips of wood as paper and cut up charcoal for a pen. These wood chips were densely packed with a list of things she needed to purchase: food, winter clothes, forters, a bed, a knife, bow and arrows, make-up, menstruation bands... It was best to buy some rammed earth and fix up the house. As she was trying to fall asleepst night, she could not help but stare at the cracks in the wall. Her heart twisted with worry as she imagined a sudden onught of wind and rain immediately making her walls copse. Thinking of wind and rain, the roof should also be renovated. The roof has been leaking because of the recent snow these past couple of days. Recalcting everything again, it seemed her funds were tight. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i sucked in an annoyed breath. Save money, save money, save money! She was going crazy. She would have to see what from her list could afford to wait and hold off on them first. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i picked up her charcoal pen and hovered over her list, circling around a few times before clenching her teeth as she crossed make-up off from the list. Once she confirmed her final shopping list, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i stuffed her money into her hidden pockets to head into town. Just as she was about to step out, however, ¨¨r G¨¯u Zi rushed in. ¡°J¨«ng Y¨²n¡¯s Mother!¡± he cried out. ¡°Hurry ande out, J¨«ng Y¨²n is fighting with people!¡± ¨¨r G¨¯u Zi was ten years old this year and was one of the few people that hung out with her son. In the past, if someone bullied her son, ¨¨r G¨¯u Zi would be the one to step in. For him to personallye up the mountain to find her... It seemed that ¨¨r G¨¯u Zi could not handle whoever was picking a fight with her son. And if he was unable to, then how could her four-year-old son handle it? Qi¨¢o W¨¥i quickly went down the mountain. Upon entering the vige, she immediately saw the empty field in front of ¨¨r G¨¯u Zi¡¯s house where a woman wearing purple floral robes was chasing Qi¨¢o J¨«ng Y¨²n around with a stick trying tond a hit. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i immediately felt her anger rising, like fire burning inside of her. A fight? This was a fucking fight? How can such arge person chase around a four-year-old child?! Does she have any shame?! Any at all?! The rage inside Qi¨¢o W¨¥i continued to burn and she rushed forward. She already recognized who the woman was; it was the same Madame Li¨² that had used her son of stealing chicken before. Thinking back to Aunt Lu¨¡¯s intervention, it was no wonder Madame Li¨² had left afterwards. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i thought that Madame Li¨² was more tactful and would no longer find trouble with her family. Who would have guessed she was such a ¡°capable¡± person. Good, very good! Taking advantage of her absence, and dared to raise a hand against her son. If Qi¨¢o W¨¥i didn¡¯t give her something to remember, then her surname was not Qi¨¢o! Qi¨¢o W¨¥i¡¯s hand shot out and grabbed a tight hold on Madame Li¨²¡¯s wrist just as she was about to struck her stick down onto Qi¨¢o J¨«ng Y¨²n¡¯s body. She does not hit a woman¡¯s face, ever. However, in this world, there are ways to deal with people using methods that are more effective than face-pping. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i narrowed her eyes coolly. She shifted her center of gravity and adjusted her hold as she threw Madame Li¨² over her shoulder and onto the ground. Completely taken by surprise, Madame Li¨² had absolutely no chance to react and only knew that she had somehow taken a heavy fall. When the little buns saw that their mother had arrived, they immediately ran to her. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i pulled them both into her arms and gently stroked their heads. ¡°Are you hurt?¡± she asked. ¡°Is there any pain anywhere? Where did she hit you?¡± Qi¨¢o J¨«ng Y¨²n did not speak. ¡°She hit g¨¥g¨¥ (1),¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¤ng Sh¨± said, holding onto the small white dumpling. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i quickly released them and took her son¡¯s face into her hands. ¡°Where did she hit you?¡± ¡°Nowhere,¡± Qi¨¢o J¨«ng Y¨²n answered, his small face blushing lightly. ¡°It doesn¡¯t hurt.¡± ¡°You¡¯re talking nonsense!¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¤ng Sh¨± cried out, her heart distraught. ¡°It was definitely painful; I saw her hit your butt!¡± What?! Dare to hit her son¡¯s butt? Madame Li¨² was just getting up from the ground. Her head was still spinning but when she saw Qi¨¢o W¨¥i fiercely making her way towards her, she immediately felt her stomach twist in fear. ¡°The one with the surname Qi¨¢o!¡± she cried out. ¡°What are you doing?¡± ¡°What am I doing?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i coldly repeated. ¡°I should be the one asking you this. Someone your age, bullying a four-year-old child, do you have no shame?¡± ¡°I have no shame?¡± Despite being in a disadvantageous position, when Madame Li¨² heard this, she immediately straightened her spine. ¡°Ha! Why don¡¯t you ask your precious son what he did to my son? Ti¨§ Ni¨²,e!¡± The seven-year-old Ti¨§ Ni¨² hurriedly obeyed his mother. He obviously had been crying as his eyes were reddened and snot was still flowing freely from his nostrils. Madame Li¨² motioned towards his neck. ¡°Do you see it? This is all your son¡¯s fault! Your son had that dog bite my son. So what if I punish him?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i nced at the three scratches; even without examining it closely, she had a very clear idea what had caused it. It wasn¡¯t a dog, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i thought, looking over at the small white dumpling that was tightly holding onto Qi¨¢o W¨¤ng Sh¨±¡¯s neck. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i blinked and turned towards her son. ¡°J¨«ng Y¨²n,¡± she said. ¡°What happened? Did you have it bite Ti¨§ Ni¨²?¡± Qi¨¢o J¨«ng Y¨²n bowed his head. ¡°No, mother!¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¤ng Sh¨± interjected anxiously. ¡°That¡¯s not what happened. It was Ti¨§ Ni¨² who was bullying g¨¥g¨¥! He even called a lot of people over to hit him. That¡¯s why Xi¨£o B¨¢i went over to help.¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i¡¯s cold gaze fell onto Ti¨§ Ni¨². ¡°Ti¨§ Ni¨², is this what happened?¡± Ti¨§ Ni¨² shuddered at her icy re and threw himself into Madame Li¨²¡¯s arms. ¡°What are you doing yelling at my son?¡± she cried out angrily. ¡°A foreign, loose woman like you, if it wasn¡¯t for us kindly taking you in, who knows where you would have died! Not repaying our kindness and instead seeking to hurt us! You worthless person!¡± ¡°I¡¯m worthless?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i repeated. ¡°Then what does that make you? A seven-year-old unable to win against a four-year-old and still finding others to help him gang up. Taking sides and involving yourself in something like that, you really have no shame.¡± Madame Li¨² was rendered speechless, unable to refute, and could only give her son a hard pinch. ¡°You useless thing!¡± Ti¨§ Ni¨² immediately cried out in pain, ¡°It was he who struck me first! He did it first! He had it bite me the moment he saw me. That¡¯s why I called people to help me beat him up.¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i turned to ask her son, ¡°Did you struck first?¡± Qi¨¢o J¨«ng Y¨²n bit his lip and nodded. ¡°Why did you hurt him?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i asked. ¡°Mother believes that you are not the kind of person that just randomly stirs up trouble. Tell mother why you hurt him.¡± Qi¨¢o J¨«ng Y¨²n clenched his fists but did not say anything.

  1. Ni¨¢ng - Mother

Return of the Noble Abandoned Consort 8. The First Purchase ?Unable to get the reason from her son, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i could only turn her questioning gaze towards her daughter. Qi¨¢o W¨¤ng Sh¨± shook her head in response. She did not know what happened either; she had been ying with Xi¨£o B¨¢i when her older brother suddenly got into a fight. At first, Aunt Li¨²cked confidence in the situation. She was familiar with J¨«ng Y¨²n¡¯s temper and knew that he would not randomly cause trouble with people. Additionally, she was also aware of her son¡¯s character. She feared that her son had actually done something to wrong J¨«ng Y¨²n and that had caused J¨«ng Y¨²n to strike him in retaliation. But seeing that J¨«ng Y¨²n was not uttering a single word in his defense, any guilty conscious she had lingering in her heart immediately disappeared. She straightened up. ¡°How about it?¡± she huffed, her tone proud. ¡°Can¡¯t get a straight answer? It¡¯s your son who¡¯s in the wrong; crazily going around beating people! Take a good look at Ti¨§ Ni¨²¡¯s injuries, it¡¯s your son and that little beast that caused it. I¡¯m not going to let you get away with this, I will definitely be reporting this matter to the vige chief!¡± The vige chief was actually a distant paternal cousin of hers. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i who does not contribute anything, it was obvious whose side the vige chief would favor. Moreover, she was an outsider. Bullying a viger, it wouldn¡¯t matter even if she was in the right. This was the first time Qi¨¢o W¨¥i felt the difficulty of survival. It wasn¡¯t that shecked food, or that shecked ways to earn money. No, it was the feeling of senselessness, the feeling of not having a home. She struggled for more than twenty years to get rid of this feeling of uneasiness. But in a blink of an eye, she was suddenly back in ancient times and she had to start all over again. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i took a deep breath and mentally pushed back the onught of emotions into the depths of her heart. ¡°Then how would you like to handle the situation?¡± she asked Aunt Li¨². ¡°Your son hurt my son,¡± Aunt Li¨² said in an unhappy tone. ¡°No matter what, you shouldpensate us. Who knows what kind of disease that little beast has? I¡¯ll have to take my son to town to find a good doctor; consultation fees aren¡¯t cheap!¡± Saying so much and it turns out she just wanted some money. Initially unhappy, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i broke out into a smile immediately upon hearing her words. ¡°Then how are we calcting thepensation of you kicking my son? My son is still so small and I don¡¯t know how heavy your kick was. I also want to take my son to the town¡¯s doctor, why don¡¯t we go together? Go together? What nonsense! Aunt Li¨² choked, feeling an itch in her teeth. No one was truly responsible for this situation. However, if pursued, Aunt Li¨²¡¯s action against J¨«ng Y¨²n would be considered the most excessive. The little white dumpling biting people, J¨«ng Y¨²n hitting people, and even Ti¨§ Ni¨² letting his friends surround and beat up J¨«ng Y¨²n was all considered a child¡¯s scuffle. If Aunt Li¨² wanted to teach a lesson, she should have punished the little beast. But because she did not dare to provoke that violent snowball, she could only vent her anger at J¨«ng Y¨²n. Actually, Aunt Li¨² knew that she was in the wrong, but because of her domineering personality, she could not stand the thought of retreating. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i opened up her money bag and took out two taels. ¡°This isn¡¯t for his medical fees,¡± she said, tossing the taels to Aunt Li¨². ¡°Seeing that your son is so pitiful, buy him some sweets to eat.¡± Aunt Li¨² had already prepared herself to withdraw empty-handed but seeing that she was able to get two taels without much effort, she could onlyugh happily in response. This was simply money from the heavens. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i moved to leave, pulling her two children behind her, toozy to spare Aunt Li¨² another nce. Along the way, her children were both very silent. Qiao J¨«ng Y¨²n obviously had something weighing on his mind while Qi¨¢o W¨¤ng Sh¨± was notpletely understanding of the situation so was remaining quiet. And because Qi¨¢o W¨¥i was also not saying anything, the family of three of unusually hushed. In in end, Qiao J¨«ng Y¨²n was unable to handle the silence. ¡°Ni¨¢ng [1],¡± he said in a quiet voice. ¡°I¡¯m sorry.¡± ¡°What are you sorry for?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i asked with a soft sigh. ¡°Sorry that you hit someone? Or sorry that you cannot tell me why you hit someone?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¤ng Sh¨± looked over at her older brother curiously and saw that he was biting down on his lower lip. ¡°It¡¯s fine if you don¡¯t want to say it,¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i said. ¡°Ni¨¢ng will not force you. Ni¨¢ng still stands by what I said earlier. I believe that you are not a child who would randomly stir up trouble. For you to do something like this, you must have been left with no other choice. Take your time to think things through, thene and tell ni¨¢ng.¡± Qiao J¨«ng Y¨²n opened his mouth to say something but stopped. Even after struggling for a while, he was still unable to get the words out. But then he remembered something and turned to ask, ¡°Ni¨¢ng, why did you give them money?¡± Making money was not easy, but she had just randomly given some to Ti¨§ Ni¨² and his mother. Actually, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i felt distress thinking about the money but Ti¨§ Ni¨² was really injured. No mattered who was actually at fault, her son¡¯s pet had scratched someone and he must take responsibility for that. She did not want her son growing up to be someone who does whatever he pleased. There were so many criminals in the world, which one did not have his own difficulties? But even with such difficulties, could one just let them avoid responsibilities and consequences? Qi¨¢o W¨¥i mumbled to herself for a moment, thinking. Her son was still young, so she did not know how to best exin things to him. Finally, ¡°I¡¯m sorry,¡± she said righteously. ¡°Before when Aunt Li¨² came up the mountain to find trouble, ni¨¢ng should not have hit her. Ni¨¢ng demonstrated irresponsibly, causing you to learn something bad.¡± ¡°Hitting... is not good?¡± J¨«ng Y¨²n asked. ¡°It depends on the situation,¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i answered patiently. ¡°If you are endangered, you may have to strike out physically in order to protect yourself.¡± J¨«ng Y¨²n finally realized his mistake. ¡°Today, I was not endangered so I shouldn¡¯t have struck out,¡± he said. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i nodded in relief. ¡°There are many ways to solve problems. If you want to learn, ni¨¢ng can teach you. Now, can you tell ni¨¢ng what happened?¡± J¨«ng Y¨²n nodded and told her everything. It turned out, it was simply because of her meal with X¨² D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng. Chapter 9 Title: ÑýÄõØ©ÏàÀµÉÏÃÅ Author: Æ«·½·½ This chapter is sponsored by F.M. Thank you so much for your support! Qi¨¢o W¨¥i had been here for some time and although she had put a lot of effort into being a suitable mother, she had forgotten that in the eyes of outsiders, she was nothing but a small widow with no one to rely on. Forget an unmarried man like D¨¤ Zhu¨¤ng, even if he had been a married man with his own family to feed, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i¡¯s interactions with him could cause rumors of a love affair. Perhaps the reason why Aunt Li¨² was so hostile to her was because her man had taken some sort of notice of her. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i felt her heart soften, knowing that her son had used what limited capabilities he had to handle the situation in his own way. She touched her son¡¯s face, wanting to say something but found that her throat was choked up, unable to get even a single word out. She had never known anyone willing to sacrifice everything for her before; that the feeling of someone wanting to answer the injustice done to her felt like this. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i¡¯s chest felt warm and she could feel the tears building up, threatening to fall. Qi¨¢o J¨«ng Y¨²n looked at his mother¡¯s slightly reddened eyes. ¡°I¡¯m too small,¡± he said, his voice sounded like sweet milk. ¡°Couldn¡¯t win against Ti¨§ Ni¨². But once I grow up, I will definitely win so he will no longer dare to say bad things about ni¨¢ng [1].¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i gathered her son into her arms and shed a few silent tears, hidden from her son¡¯s eyes. X¨©ni¨² Vige was not too far away from town. Since it was about ten l¨« [2] away, it would only take an adult about one sh¨ªch¨¦n [3] to get there on foot. Of course children would not be able to walk such a distance so Qi¨¢o W¨¥i nned on hiring a vehicle. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i had two different options for a vehicle, the ox cart and the horse carriage. Both were simple modes of transportation with open air. One on hand, the ox cart was slow but could be hired at a low price while the horse carriage was fast but was also much more expensive. After debating for a moment, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i finally decided on the horse carriage. The price for a one-way horse carriage was ten coins per adult, five coins for children so altogether, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i had to pay twenty coins. The horse carriage definitely wouldn¡¯t wait around for them once they arrived in town. Once it could find other customers, it would definitely take off. There were a lot of things Qi¨¢o W¨¥i nned to buy so without a horse carriage, she wouldn¡¯t be able to return. There should also be other horse carriages in town but where to hire them? She looked around for a moment before her eyesnded on the owner of the horse carriage she was currently upying. She managed to haggle a price to employ the horse carriage for half a day for two hundred coins. That price also included the transportation of the goods she wanted to buy. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i felt that the price was worth it. After all, if she were to convert it to Chinese Dors, then it was only a hundred and twenty Chinese Dors. The family of three, in an ancient version of the modern taxi, happily rode towards the town. A smile could be seen on all their faces as the scenery flew past them and the image of the vige was getting smaller and smaller behind them, it seemed as if even their troubles were disappearing. This town was called L¨ªng Qu¨¢n Town. Because it was located near the capital, the poption was dense and business flourished. The horse carriage driver, Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥ knew that Qi¨¢o W¨¥i came to shop so he drove directly to town¡¯srgest marketce. From eating to ying, all kinds of goods could be found there. The children could not remember when thest time they¡¯ve gone to the marketce was. They looked around at the dazzling line-up of goods disyed on the shelves, eyes wide and bright. The two children immediately attracted a lot of attention from people nearby. They were a pair of beautiful fraternal twins, each with an adorable expression of wonder on their face. The young sister was even holding a soft and cute ¡°little white dog¡± in her arms. Such good-looking children, they looked like they had directly stepped out from a painting. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i felt extremely proud. After circling around once, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i had a pretty good idea what an ancient marketce was. It was equivalent to the modern wholesale market where prices were cheaper than those found in stores. However, the town was a stronghold that lead directly to the capital so it had a veryrge transient poption which meant that business integrity was most likely not very high. Was it possible to buy something of good quality but was also reasonably priced? Could it be bargained? Actually, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i could be considered a sort of expert. Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥ also introduced several reliable businesses to her. Wandering around, she was able to buy oil, rice, flour, and seasonings. However, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i felt a bit of regret buying salt as the salt during this time period was mostly course salt. Fine salt and course salt really could not bepared but due to the government¡¯s monopolization, the price was very high. It had cost her one silver tael for just ten catty of salt. It had pained her to take out the money. Afterwards, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i made her way to a ready-made clothes store to buy some women¡¯s essentials. Sadly, she was quick to find out that people did not sell ready-made menstrual cloths, everyone made those themselves. So instead, she bought the necessary raw materials and packed them up into the horse carriage. She also needed cotten-padded clothes for winter but the prices for these ready-wear clothes were three to five times higher than that of both fabric and cotton wadding. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i hesitated for a moment before buying two sets for herself and her two children. She also bought some cloth; she will go back home and slowly learn how to make clothes. Her two little buns were so excited about their new clothes that they were even walking with a bounce in their steps. Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥ looked over at the horse carriage which was filled with so much goods it was practically piled up into a small hill. ¡°Xi¨£o [4] Qi¨¢o,¡± he said. ¡°Do you still have things to buy? If not, should we head back?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i thought about it. ¡°No rush,¡± she answered. ¡°Let me ask you, is there any iron shops near here?¡± ¡°An iron shop?¡± Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥ repeated. ¡°D¨¤ X¨©ng Alley has one, just take this road from here. What happened? Why do you want to go there?¡± One of his ears was deaf so his voice was a bit loud. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i did not mind, instead she smiled and said, ¡°Well, I want to go hunting but I don¡¯t have the right tools so I just want to take a look around.¡± Rumors of Qi¨¢o W¨¥i sessfully hunting a tiger had already spread throughout the vige. No one believed that it was due to her skills; it¡¯s just that she had good luck. Seeing that she was insistent on buying, Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥ did not say anything. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i and her two children rode to D¨¤ X¨©ng Alley. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i ended up purchasing a dagger for self-defense from the iron shop along with a bone cleaver and a few hooks to make traps. ¡°Need anything else?¡± Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥ asked. ¡°I also want to order a bed.¡± There wasn¡¯t a bed where they lived so the three of them could only squeeze themselves into a narrow k¨¤ng [5]. It was somewhat crowded. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i wanted to sleep in a separate bed and leave the k¨¤ng for her children. Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥ then led her to a carpenter to ce an order for nks. She just had to take it home and assemble it ording to the given specifications. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i was rather surprised, she did not expect that the olden times was already so advanced. After being busy for an entire afternoon, she finally finished purchasing everything she needed. ¡°Are you hungry?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i asked, reaching out to touch her son and daughter¡¯s small head. The two of them nodded. Notining even when they¡¯re hungry, their thoughtfulness really made people feel distress. ¡°What would you like to eat?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i asked. ¡°I would like to eat beef dumplings,¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¤ng Sh¨± whispered. ¡°Is that alright?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i smiled. ¡°Of course you can! Besides that, is there anything else you would like to eat?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¤ng Sh¨± licked her lips. ¡°I also want to eat chive boxes and scallion pancakes.¡± ¡°Anything else?¡± ¡°No more.¡± ¡°What does J¨«ng Y¨²n want to eat?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i asked, looking at her son. ¡°I¡¯m fine with anything,¡± Qi¨¢o J¨«ng Y¨²n said, speaking like a small adult. Since her children mostly ordered snacks, it wasn¡¯t very expensive. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i and Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥ found a rtively clean vendor¡¯s stall. She ordered tworge bowls of beef dumplings, one for Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥ and the other for J¨«ng Y¨²n and W¨¤ng Sh¨± to share. She also ordered four chive boxes, four scallion pancakes, a portion of fragrant spareribs, and two bowls of mutton noodle soup. Xi¨£o - Little, young; can be added in front of someone¡¯s name (usually younger). Can also be used as a nickname to show closeness between family members, lovers, and friends. 2. Ni¨¢ng - Mother 3. M¨¡m¨¡ - Mom, mommy; also a way of addressing elderly female servants 4. L¨£o F¨±r¨¦n - Elderly Madam 5. F¨±r¨¦n - Madam; Title used for a married woman. Return of the Noble Abandoned Consort 10. First Time Practicing Medicine The mutton had been stewed to perfection, its slices were thin and tender. The noodles were smooth and could easily be slurped into one¡¯s mouth. Together with the hot pepper-seasoned soup, the dish was so delicious that one could not help but practically swallow their tongue trying to speedily eat it. Since they¡¯ve settle down in X¨©ni¨² Vige, the two little buns had never eaten such delicious dishes before. They were both so happy that they ate until they were sweating all over. Qi¨¢o W¨¤ng Sh¨± was afraid of spiciness, the smell of the pepper was strong enough to irritate one¡¯s nose. She took a bite and huffed out twice from the spicy taste. With bulging cheeks and a rosy-redplexion, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i thought she could die with how cute her daughter looked. This meal was eaten very happily. Along with the other dishes, the amount of mutton noodle soup she ordered was more than enough. Seeing that the brother and sister pair was unable to finish it, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i took it upon herself to finish the rest. Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥ ate a bowl of dumplings, a bowl of mutton noodle soup, a chive box, and half a scallion pancake. In the end, his stomach could no longer fit anything else. Usually, when he gave someone a ride, they did not care about meals. He had already prepared t bread for himself to eat but who knew that Xi¨£o [1] Qi¨¢o would also order him such arge meal? A mother and her two children eating a meal, he was also eating, this was really extraordinary. He was not an educated person so he did not know how to put it in good words. However, he felt that Xi¨£o Qi¨¢o¡¯s mannerism was different than that of a typical vige women¡¯s. Her imposing atmosphere, her orderliness, her straightforwardness; Qi¨¢o W¨¥i knew when to speak up, but also knew not to make a fuss over every minor detail. She conducted herself as well any self-respecting man; she was nothing like the questionable person rumors had made her out to be. ¡°Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥, have you eaten your full?¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i asked politely. ¡°Full!¡± Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥ answered, patted his rounded belly. ¡°Practically can¡¯t walk around anymore.¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i gave a slight smile. ¡°If it is not enough, let me order something else.¡± ¡°There is really no need to,¡± Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥ said in a hurry, his hands waving frantically. ¡°I¡¯ll burst if I eat anymore.¡± Seeing that Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥ was truly full, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i only smiled, not saying anything else. Instead, she turned towards her children, asking, ¡°What about you guys? Have anything you still want to eat?¡± They shook their heads; they could barely stand up as it was. ¡°It seems like you both really like to eat this,¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i said, looking at the table¡¯s mutton noodle soup. ¡°Ni¨¢ng [2] will buy somemb meat and noodles back and stew some for you two to eat.¡± After paying the bill, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i returned back to the marketce and bought some sturdy bedding and several cuts of fresh meat. Actually, she also wanted to buy a writing set of brush, paper, and ink-stone but changed her mind after hearing the price. The price of paper from this dynasty was more expensive than gold. It was really not somethingmoners could afford. By the afternoon, the group was ready to return from their rewarding journey. Right before leaving the marketce, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i bought a few candied hawthorns for her son and daughter to share among their friends back in the vige. Of course, she also got them their own share. The two little buns were extremely happy; in the past, it was always them who ate other people¡¯s food but now it was finally their turn to share. No more need for embarrassment, now. The horse carriage steadily made its way back to the small vige. It was just past noon so the sky was bright with the mid-day sunlight which dispelled the winter cold. The two little buns sitting on either side of Qi¨¢o W¨¥i snuggled up into her embrace. Full of food, along with the swaying motion of the carriage, the two of them gradually started feeling sleepy. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i opened up a quilt and covered her two children up with it. Their eyes has long since fluttered shut, pletely asleep. Qi¨¢o W¨¥i herself was also feeling somewhat sleepy. She closed her eyes lightly, nning on resting for only a moment so she did not expect the horse carriage toe to a sudden stop. She woke up instantly as she jerked forward, still holding her children in her arms. ¡°Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥,¡± she called out. ¡°What happened?¡± ¡°It seems like something happened up front,¡± he answered. Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥, who was sitting on top of the horse, hastily looked around, wanting to avoid themotion. However, a family¡¯s horse carriage was stopped in the middle of the path which was not wide enough for him to also pass through. He saw that the carriage was surrounded by a bunch of crying servants. Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥ jumped off his horse and made his way over to inquire about the situation. Despite their own feelings of anxiousness, the servants carefully exined the situation to Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥. ¡°There¡¯s an elderlydy inside the carriage,¡± he ryed back to Qi¨¢o W¨¥i, ¡°who fainted suddenly. They n on sending someone to town to invite a physician but the elderlydy¡¯s situation does not look very good.¡± People from ancient times rarely cursed themselves. If they all say that the situation was not very optimistic, then it must be dire indeed. ¡°I will go see,¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i said, wrapping the quilt around her two children. She made her way towards the carriage and gave a quick nce around. There were two cart drivers, no less than six pairs of fine horses that stood tall and steady. If she were topare them to Shu¨¡n Zi Di¨¥¡¯s horse, it would be likeparing the clouds to dirt. Looking at the all the attendants, there were four servant girls, four menservants, two female middle-aged servants, and two male middle-aged servants. It was rather extraordinary how disciplined everyone was. The one in charge must be the old servant d in a green outfit. She was kneeling just outside the carriage, crying while everyone else was standing nearby, also in tears. Qi¨¢o W¨¥iposed herself, concentrating all her attention towards the older servant as she looked at her. ¡°This...¡± Aunt? Madam? How were female servants even addressed in ancient times? Ah, that¡¯s right! It was m¨¡m¨¡ [3]. However, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i was unable to call that out so she just ended up asking, ¡°Is your family¡¯s l¨£o f¨±r¨¦n [4] sick? What is the situation?¡± The servant continued to cry. ¡°I also do not know what happened. L¨£o f¨±r¨¦n was talking to me when herplexion suddenly became off. And then she just fell down...¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i¡¯s expression remained steady as she said, ¡°My father is a doctor, if you do not mind, let me check out the situation.¡± When the servant heard the words, her eyes immediately lit up. ¡°F¨±r¨¦n [5], please! This way.¡± Normally, the servant would never allow a random vige woman anywhere near the elderly madam. However, the situation right now was an emergency; she could only count on a dead horse as if it was a living one. As soon as Qi¨¢o W¨¥i stepped into the carriage, she found herself surrounded by a precious yet simple atmosphere. This was indeed a horse carriage of the highest luxury. However, Qi¨¢o W¨¥i did not pay any mind to these simple worldly possessions and instead, looked over towards the elderly madam. The elderly madam squinted at her but the light in her eyes were sluggish and herplexion pale. Her expression looked as if she was in a lot of pain. After checking over the elderly madam¡¯s body and her surroundings, she asked, ¡°Was l¨£o f¨±r¨¦n eating when she was talking to you?¡± The servant nodded, startled. ¡°Yes, yes, yes.¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i touched around the elderly madam¡¯s neck. ¡°There is something stuck in her trachea. I will need to cut it open.¡± The servant looked at Qi¨¢o W¨¥i¡¯s hand, turning pale with fright. ¡°You want to cut my family¡¯s l¨£o f¨±r¨¦n¡¯s throat? Are you crazy?¡± ¡°She is already showing obvious signs of breathing difficulties,¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i replied in a steady voice. ¡°Cold sweat, urinary incontinence, loss of orientation, if this continues, she will suffocate to death. Whether or not you would like to save her, the final decision is up to you.¡± Even the servant could see for herself that the elderly madam did not have much time left; she knew that youngdy was not just trying to scare her. But the youngdy¡¯s method was simply too dangerous. Even imperial physicians did not dare use a knife on the old madam¡¯s body, could an unsophisticated doctor from the vige do it? ¡°You... You... You are certain it will be sessful?¡± ¡°It¡¯s hard to say,¡± Qi¨¢o W¨¥i replied. ¡°All surgeryes with risks. Not to mention, this is not an operating room so the chances of an infection is high. But those are all problems to think about afterwards. If we are not doing the surgery then she will not have the chance for an infection. Just directly wait for death then.¡± Thatst sentence immediately extinguished any hesitation the servant had. The olddy was met with unexpected misfortune and the servants around her would also have to bear the me. Instead of waiting to die, it was better to gamble! Chapter 11 Chapter 11 ¡°Is there really no other way?¡± The servant woman asked cautiously. Qiao Wei groaned: ¡°There is no other way ¡ not without.¡± Theservant¡¯s eyes lightened, ¡°What is it?¡± Qiao Wei paused:¡°Hay Impact.¡± The servantwoman stared. ¡°What?¡± Also calledHemlick First Aid. By squeezingthe residual air in the lungs, the residual air in the lungs is impacted, andforeign objects caught in the trachea are washed out. Former U.S. PresidentReagan, former New York Mayor Ed, and famous actress Elizabeth Taylor have allused their lives to recover their lives. But thismethod is not without the slightest risk, it may also bring certain harm, especially for the elderly, because of the poor sticity andpliance ofthe chest and abdomen tissue, it is easy to cause damage. This is notrmist, but Qiao Wei¡¯s personal experience. That waswhat happened to Qiao Wei¡¯s first day internship in the emergency department. An elderly grandma who apanied her grandson to get an injection, choked ondates, and the doctor was not there. She hugged her grandmother from her back, pulling fists with one hand and pressing the palms with one hand, and squeezedher grandmother¡¯s upper abdomen. That was the first time that she was trulytreated as a medical doctor. Unlike previous training, she was in a tense stateand identally injured her grandmother. That isdefinitely a dark history of Doctor Joe¡¯s medical career. Therefore, when seeing this olddy, she almost conditionedly remembered the scene ofthat day, and proposed surgery subconsciously. Of course, she also understood that this was actually wrong. She closedher eyes, ¡°You all go down.¡± What shouldbe ovee must always be ovee. The servant womanlooked at her in fear: ¡°You ¡ are you going to cut the olddy¡¯sthroat?¡± ¡°Do notcut.¡± Qiao Wei also asked after seeing the servant woman, ¡°The oldy is short of time, and the brain is hypoxic for half a quarter of an hour, which may cause irreparable damage to the organs. I do n''t want your olddyto be in the following decades Spend in bed and hurry. ¡° Qiao Wei¡¯svoice was not loud, but there was a convincing aura of inexplicability, and theservant woman crawled down. Qiao Weiclosed the curtain and helped the olddy. At this moment, the advantage ofthe carriage became apparent, wide enough and high enough, even if Qiao Weistood up straight, she could not touch the roof. She hugged the olddy frombehind, found the seat between the navel and the ribs, and began to squeezeviolently. Thesttime she nervously let go, this time Jovi was particrly attentive. Aftersqueezing it five times from bottom to top, Qiao Wei¡¯s cold sweat broke out. Does thismethod not work for olddies? Qiao Weitried three more times, and decided to perform an emergency tracheotomy beforeone minute. At the tenthtime, the old woman coughed out the contents of the trachea. Qiao Weibreathed a long sigh of relief. The momentthe olddy was in the carriage, she really thought she was dead. That was theway her wife died. She was sitting next to her at the time. There was nothingshe could do. People ¡°walked¡± especially fast. She knew herself Can¡¯tsupport them to go to town to invite the doctor back ¡ It¡¯s reallyGod¡¯s care, so that she encountered the miraculous doctor halfway! The olddytook Qiao Wei¡¯s hand and said excitedly, ¡°Girl, what¡¯s your surname? Wheredoes your family live? You saved my life, and I must personallye to thedoor and thank you.¡± The servantwoman looked at her olddy holding the hand of the girl outside, and was alittle speechless. The olddy of her family is not a master who can climb up,let alone a country doctor who is a great doctor of the Eight ssics. Hermaster never takes a serious look. Qiao Wei thoughtabout it and said calmly: ¡°It is not necessary to go to the door. I¡¯m LangZhong. It should be seen by someone. If the olddy really wants to thank me,she will pay me some consultation fees.¡± The servantwoman is dumb, girl, girl, do you know who my olddy is? People who want toclimb a rtionship with my olddy can be discharged from the capital to theHuns. You¡¯d better, reject the olddy with one sip. Are you really stupid orfake? Don¡¯t you see the richness of the sky in the carriage? The olddyapparently froze, ¡°Are you sure you only need the consultation fee?¡± Qiao Weinodded: ¡°Yes.¡± The olddylooked at Qiao Wei with aplex look: ¡°If so, then pay your consultationfee.¡± ¡°Pleasewait for the olddy.¡± Qiao Wei stepped out of the carriage, negotiatedwith the embarrassing father who was not far from her carriage, and came backand said to the olddy, ¡°One or two silver.¡± The olddytook out a twelve ingots and Qiao Wei said, ¡°I can¡¯t find them.¡± ¡°Thendon¡¯t have to find it.¡± ¡°it isgood.¡± Qiao Wei wasalso unpretentious and epted this sky-high consultation fee. The oldy¡¯s eyes looked more and more interesting to Qiao Wei, saying that she wasgreedy, she did not climb the dragon and the phoenix; that she was not greedy, and she epted the consultation so easily, she was really an intriguing girl:¡°Can you tell What aboutst name? ¡° ¡°Mst name is Joe.¡± The olddyasked someone to make way for the father¡¯s carriage. Under the circumstances,Qiao Wei was the first person to let the olddy give way. The servantwoman sighed that the girl was lucky and met her olddy. The olddysaid, ¡°I was lucky and met her.¡± ¡ Daddy¡¯scarriage wandered into the vige. ¡°XiaoQiao, will you see a doctor?¡± Asked Dianzi Curiously. Xiao Qiaosmiled and thought of something, and asked, ¡°I know a little bit of fur,why didn¡¯t I tell you before?¡± ¡°Ididn¡¯t say it? Who said that would dare to look down on you? I still saw thefemale doll for the first time. You said that you are so capable, you can hunt, and you know how to heal. Your family.¡± People don¡¯t want you, but kickedyou out? ¡° Xiao Qiaostunned: ¡°Who did you hear?¡± ¡°Yousaid it!¡± Said Dianzi. It seemsthat the original owner said it. This is the first time that Qiao Wei has heardsomeone mention the origin of ¡°her¡±, but did not expect to be kickedout. Dianziasked: ¡°Why are you being kicked, Xiao Qiao?¡± I want toknow too! Qiao Weihelped the amount. After all,the embalmer is a man, different from the gossip between women, and he askedthese purely to care for Xiao Qiao. After half aday¡¯s contact, he found that this little woman was not the same as everyoneelse¡¯s rumors. She was not weak or ipetent at all. He thought he was ajerk, and had misunderstood Xiao Qiao before. He now wanted to talk about andapologize, but Xiao Qiao kept silent and refused to say that he wouldn¡¯t be ashard as anyone else. Jing Yunwoke up with his younger sister and took a sweet gourd to the vige to find alittle friend. Dengzi rushed the carriage to the mountain and helped Xiao Qiaoto remove everything. Aunt Luo also came to help. There are so many people, andit¡¯s time to unload things. Qiao Weigave the captive father two hundred essays. The captive father ate another met noon, and was sorry to receive so much. Auntie Luoshoved it into his hand: ¡°Just keep it, my daughter will make money, andit¡¯s not bad for you.¡± ¡°You¡ girl?¡± Auntie Luo grabbed Qiao Wei¡¯s hand: ¡°Yeah, I and Xiao Qiao recognized my rtives. From today on, Xiao Qiao is my daughter. Please turn back and tell those people and stop bullying my daughter.¡± If AuntieLuo knew that she had saved a nobleman halfway through, Qiao Wei might thinkthat the other party was in a rtionship with herself, but Auntie Luo didn¡¯tknow that she really cared about her and was afraid that Jingyun would fightwith her again Only after thinking about such a method openly covered her. Whoever dares to chew her tongue in the future will have to think about whether she will offend Luo.
previous Chapter 12 CHAPTER 12 Acknowledging the rtionship, Auntie Luo did notdiscuss with Qiao Wei in advance, and she was worried that Qiao Wei would beunwilling. In fact, her worries were totally superfluous. Qiao Wei was helplessand could meet elders like Auntie Luo. But in ancient times, confessingrtives was a big deal. She hesitated a moment, and said, ¡°Mrs. Luo,should you discuss this with Uncle Luo first?¡± AuntieLuo patted her hand and said, ¡°Here you can rest assured, he listens tome, I mentioned you with him, he also me you, and asked me to take care ofyou.¡± QiaoWei said with emotion: ¡°Uncle Luo is also a good person.¡± AuntieLuo nced at her, ¡°What about Uncle?¡± QiaoWei¡¯s face was slightly ashamed: ¡°Godfather.¡± AuntieLuo pointed to herself: ¡°What about me?¡± ¡°Madam.¡± AuntieLuo smiledfortably. So thematter of admitting a rtive was settled. In theevening, Qiao Wei prepared arge table for Auntie Liu Luo to eat. AuntieLuo¡¯s husband was working in the county. Only returned once a month. The oldestson became a family and moved out. The youngest son studied art in Beijing. Most of the time she was alone. Regarding Xiao Qiao as a rtive, although shemeant to show mercy to the mother and son, she was also lonely. XiaoQiao kept her meal, and she stayed generously. Thechildren seemed to be smelling the scent of their home and came back before themeal was cooked. When they saw Aunt Luo, who was setting dishes in the house, sweetly called ¡°Grandma Luo¡±. QiaoWei brought a bowl of mutton fan soup out of the kitchen, and when she heardthis im, she smiled and said, ¡°Don¡¯t call Grandma Luo, justgrandma.¡± Thechild didn¡¯t feel much about multiple surnames and few surnames, and respondedobediently. Qiao Wei thought that it was good to go back and talk to thechildren about the meaning of rtives, so that they knew that Grandma Luo wasdifferent from other grandma. QiaoJingyun took the initiative to pour water in the yard to wash his hands. Beforemoving from the mother-inw here, there was a well in the yard. The childrenknew how to draw water from the well, but Qiao Wei covered the well just incase. , Usually just call them water from the water tank. Thebrothers and sisters washed their hands and ate in the house. QiaoWei made four dishes and one soup-fried eggs with green peppers, braisedcarrots, dried potato shreds, stir-fried cabbage, andmb vermicelli soup, anda basket of red bean sticky rice cakes was steamed on the stove. AuntieLuo hasn¡¯t tasted Xiao Qiao¡¯s craftsmanship, but when she looks at the dish, she feels good. She chops a dried potato shred: ¡°What is this?¡± QiaoWeiughed: ¡°Potato.¡± ¡°Canpotatoes do the same?¡± Auntie Luo took a bite, spicy and refreshing, oilybut not greasy, sweet in salty, and delicious. After that, she tasted eggs, braised pork, and cabbage in turn. The more she was surprised, the moresurprised she was when she drank themb fan soup, ¡°Little Joe, you cancook!¡± ¡° Qiao Wei smiled indiscriminately: ¡°Sloppy, I¡¯ll cook little.¡± ¡°cooking?¡± Aunt Luo seemed to think of something strange, ¡°When you just entered the vige, you won¡¯t even wash the vegetables.¡± Do n''teven wash dishes? Could the original owner be a pampereddy? Qiao Wei smiledcalmly: ¡°I didn¡¯t do it after pregnancy. It¡¯s a bit rusty. I picked it upagain in the past two years.¡± AuntLuo had no doubt about him, and had a meal with Qiao Wei happily. Themb fansoup is now learned, but the children said that it was better than the town.Aunt Luo also felt that way. Her family was young. Joe didn¡¯t show themountains and was dewy, he actually cooked such a good dish. Afterdinner, Qiao Wei brought out the red bean sticky rice cakes. The children lovedher sweets. Even the little carnivores like carnivores liked it tightly. Threelittle paws swept to the te. Mrs.Luo actually could n''t eat it, but the glutinous rice cake was made into alittle white rabbit, which was so pretty. She couldn¡¯t help eating one, one,and another. Already. She¡¯snot a pouty person. Why did Xiao Qiaoe here without eating for 800 years? Aftereating, the children and little ferret went to the yard to y. Aunt Luo leftto help Qiao Wei clean up the kitchen, and by the way talked about the futurelife: ¡°What are you going to do? Have you been farming or ¡¡± QiaoWei brushed the bowl and said, ¡°Tian I continued to nt, and the weatherwent into the mountains to hunt.¡± ¡°Lookat you, what am I saying? You are not allowed to go into the mountainalone.¡± Aunt Luo gave a nce at Qiao Wei and said, ¡°I¡¯d like tothink of a way for you. I don¡¯t know if you want to.¡± QiaoWeiughed softly: ¡°Please tell me.¡± AuntieLuo took Qiao Wei¡¯s brushed bowl and wiped it cleanly with a clean cottoncloth: ¡°Thest time I ate the radish cake you sent me, I felt that youhad good craftsmanship, did you see it at the market? Do you think you made ityourself? How are things better than they do? ¡° QiaoWei thought about it: ¡°The color and fragrance should be better.¡± AuntieLuo squinted: ¡°Some? You really deserve them!¡± QiaoWei was so embarrassed that she bent her lips and said, ¡°Dana, what doesit mean for me to eat and sell?¡± ¡°Um.¡±Aunt Luo nodded. Assoon as Qiao Wei thought that this was indeed the way to go, she could not makeenough money to make ends meet, and she was not in the ranks of a living.Hunting was an input, but chance was too high, and she could not run into preyevery time. She does need a rtively stable entry. QiaoWei is a activist. She only mentioned things in the evening. She made thingsearly the next morning. Therefore, Pan went to town to buy limited materials. She only made red bean sticky rice cakes, crispy radish cakes, and radishcakes. It¡¯s not for sale, it¡¯s for yourself and children. Whenit was light, she went down the mountain with two baskets of snacks. Thechildren love the day when they ¡°run and run¡± with their mother. Inthe past, the mother and wife always nested in the yard, except for farming, they did not go down at all. Although I can go down the mountain in the back,of course, the feeling of going down the mountain with my mother is of coursevery different! AuntieLuo went with Qiao Wei, and several of them were still in the carriage of theembarrassed father. QiaoWei is now Mrs. Luo¡¯s daughter-inw, who is from her own vige. The fatherof emboli is a bit cheaper than yesterday¡¯s price. They are still ten by oneperson, but the two children will not collect money. Thefour did not go to the bazaar. The stalls there were all rented monthly, quarterly, and yearly. There was no extra space for Qiao Wei. Qiao Wei came tothe ce where she had lunch yesterday. The traffic here is also good. Thebooth is daily rent, twenty words a day. QiaoWei paid the rent and took out the small table and stool with Aunt Luo. Thetwo children sat obediently behind each other, noisy, noisy, and distressing.
next Chapter 13 Qiao Wei¡¯s sweet cakes is exquisite and novel, and soon abunch of passers-by stoped, Qiao Wei is not stingy and cut the sweet cakes intoslices for the them to try. At first, everyone only felt that these white snowy rabbits were cute. After eating, theyfound that they were actually delicious and the price was not expensive, onefor three pennies and two for five pennies. If you buy ten, you will get onefor free. Such goodand cheap things cannot be justified if they are not sold. An aunt paidfive pennies: ¡°give me two.¡± ¡°I wanttwo too!¡± ¡°Four!¡± ¡°Ten!¡± Mrs. Luo wasdazzled by the money she received. Qiao Wei packed the sweet cakes one by onewith bamboo leaves. She remembers who wants how many and how to pack them ordingly. The twobaskets of sweet cakes were sold almost in half an hour. ¡°Willyoue tomorrow?¡± Asked a little woman who had bought glutinous ricecake while eating. Qiao Weinodded: ¡°yes.¡± ¡°ThenI¡¯ll buy it.¡± The littledy likes Qiao Wei¡¯s sweet cake very much. Qiao Weismiled slightly: ¡°Thank you.¡± After thelittledy left, Auntie Luo wiped her sweat on her forehead with her sleeves evenin this winter. This business was beyond her expectation: ¡°Xiao Wei, howmany are left?¡± Qiao Weiopened the basket and nced: ¡°Thest five.¡± She wasafraid that it would not be easy to sell. She only made fifty, but after only aquarter of an hour had passed, there has nothing left. This speed was also alittle unexpected to her. It seems that this move is the right move. She turnedto look at the two little buns behind her. The two were sitting on a smallbench and making a bun to make fun of Xiao Bai[pet]. Suddenly, my heart was alittle soft, and I picked up six pennies and left the stall. When shereturned, she had three bunches of candy gourd in her hand and give it to her son, daughter and xiao bai. The twopeople and one beast who got the candy gourd were so happy that Qiao Wangshuraised her hands , hugged Qiao Wei¡¯s neck, and pulled down to give Qiao Wei akiss: ¡°Thank you mother.¡± Qiao Weibent her lips and said, ¡°Whatever you like and what you want to eat, justask me your mother.¡± Qiao Wangshunodded, the tip of her little tongue licked on the big, red and bright candygourd: ¡°So sweet!¡± Qiao Jingyunlicked timidly, shy than his sister. Xiao bai washolding a string, and rudely and violently stung, s, s ¡ A gorgeouscarriage stopped at the opposite restaurant. A well-dressed women walked down, wearing an antique satin rafter just after Haizhou forging, her hairbedbrightly with two emerald silver badges. She held a light green parchment inher slender hands and was elegant and proud. Beside her, followed by abeautiful girl. At firstnce, we could see that they were mother and daughter of big families. Fewpeople in the town could see such a decent person. Everyone cast theircuriosity and awe on them. Qiao Wei hadalready seen more expensive and unspeakable servants yesterday. Looking at thetwo in front of her, she didn¡¯t give much surprise. But soon, the two came overto Qiao Wei. The girlpointed at the sweet cake on the stand: ¡°Mother Fang, look at the bunny,it looks so good!¡± The womencalled the mother as she paused casually nced and said, ¡°Everything onthe side of the road is very dirty. How long have you been in the house, why isit like you have never seen it before?¡± The girlspit out her tongue. Qiao Weididn¡¯t lift her eyelids as if she hadn¡¯t heard the words of the two. Mother Fangwhispered arrogantly: ¡°Well, buy it if you like, don¡¯t let thedy seeit.¡± The girlopened the purse cheerfully: ¡°How much is one?¡± Qiao Weisaid: ¡°Two penny per piece, and only thest five left. If the girl cansee it, ten penny is sold to you.¡± Seeing the wordsis a bit confusing, she is a daughter of big family, who has never looked down onher. Where can she look down on others? Although it was just amodity, shewasfortable. She unambiguously took out ten pennies: ¡°Give it tome!¡± Mrs. Luo took the money, Qiao Wei took out the bamboo leaves, folded a small box skillfully, and gently put the five sweet cakes in. The girl''seyes widened: ¡°Hey clean your hands!¡± Qiao Wei saidnothing, and handed her the sweet cake. Mother Fangimpatiently gave her a white look: ¡°Can you go now? I can tell you, if youhave a bad stomach, don¡¯te to me to cry.¡± The girlttered and smiled, ¡°No, it won¡¯t. mother, you can rest assured.¡± The two lefthand in hand. Before leaving, the girl caught a glimpse of the xiao bai who wasstruggling with a candied gourd behind her stall, and her eyes suddenlyshed: ¡°Oh! Mommy, look! That puppy is so cute!¡± For the Nthtime, a certain mink who was treated as a dog rolled his eyes. Mother Fangturned around and saw Xiaobai, with a hint of surprise on her face:¡°Ferret?¡± Qiao Wei¡¯seyes moved. The littleferret doesn''t mind the mother, and continues to scratch the candied gourd inits paw. Thedy athome always wanted a ferret, but she didn¡¯te across a suitable one. Thismarten is not only beautiful, but also humane. It can¡¯t be better for thedy.Fang Fang looked at Qiao Wei, who was closing the booth: ¡°How much is theferret?¡± Qiao Weididn¡¯t lift her eyelids: ¡°No.¡± Ms. Fangsneered. She saw so many many people who will say that they wont sell forrising the price: ¡°Twenty-two silver.¡± Qiao Weisnorted, but Xu Dazhuang said, Xiao Bai is worth more than a tiger, and thetiger has sold thirty two. This mother just shouted twenty two? Mother Fangnoticed Qiao Wei¡¯s disdain and frowned: ¡°Thirty-two?¡± Qiao Weididn¡¯t say a word. ¡°fifty?¡± Qiao Weistill ignored her. Fang Fangraised the volume: ¡°Do you still want a hundred or two?¡± Qiao Weifolded the tablecloth and put it in the basket: ¡°I said I wouldn¡¯t sellit.¡± Mother Fanggritted her teeth: ¡°You make a price!¡± Qiao Wei pausedwith a basket in his hand: ¡°Do you really want me to drive?¡± ¡°youdrive!¡± Qiao Weiheld out an index finger. Madam Fang frowned: ¡°one hundred?¡± Qiao Weishook her index finger. ¡°housand ?¡± Shake yourfinger again. ¡°Tenthousand?¡± Mom Fang took a few steps back in shock. ¡°Well, gold.¡± Qiao Wei smiled slightly. ¡°Can you afford it?¡± Mother Fangchanged her face: ¡°Did you y me on purpose? Do you know who I am?¡± Qiao Weiyunsaid lightly: ¡°I care who you are. If you want to buy my marten, I willbring you 10,000 gold, otherwise I won¡¯t talk.¡± What kind ofmarten can be worth so much money? This clearly does not want to sell. Ms. Fangstared at Qiao Wei in anger. Immediately p up and hit Qiao Wei! ¡°Ouch!¡±Aunt Luo saw that she was in a bad shape, and rushed to embrace Qiao Wei, thep fell firmly on her face.
Article Navigation Chapter 14 A few bloodmarks suddenly appeared on Aunt Luo¡¯s face, andthe huge movements scared the candy gourds in the children¡¯s hands. Qiao Wei¡¯seyes gradually turned cold, hitting people just for a word of disagreement, andterrifying her innocent children¡ª She put thecleaned basket on the ground, and stretched out her hand across the stall¡¯ssmall table, gently sping the mother¡¯s shoulder. Fang¡¯smother disdainfully swiped the hand that fell on her shoulder, followed herarm, looked into Qiao Wei¡¯s dark eyes, and her heart suddenly froze. ¡°Whatdo you want?¡± Mom Fang snapped. Qiao Weisaid, ¡°You hit my mother, what do you want me to do?¡± The originalintention of Fang Fang was not to hit Aunt Luo, she was aiming at Qiao Wei, butshe did not expect that Aunt Luo would jump over in desperation, and took thatp for Qiao Wei. She was ustomed to walking in the government, and shedidn¡¯t pay attention to these hawkers at all. What if she made a mistake? Arethese people not yet obediently guarding? Turning hermind, she raised her chin and said, ¡°I hit you. Who made hereup?¡± Qiao Weilooked at her momentarily: ¡°You hit someone, not giving apology, you are soarrogant, very good.. So I won¡¯t force you to apologize to my mother.¡± The firsttwo sentences were very good and I heard the mother¡¯s heart stunned for awhile. After hearing thest sentence, the mother¡¯s heart hung up and feel ufortable, how can this ignorantmoner dare totalk to her, Such a noble character? Fang Fangwhispered, ¡°Take your dirty hands away! Also, give me the ferret and Iwill forgive your offense.¡± ¡°Youhit my mother, and you me us for offending, and you want to take over mypet.¡± Qiao Wei looked at her lightly. ¡°It¡¯s shameless.¡± When shesaid nothing, Fang¡¯s mother did not respond to what was going on, she heard aclick, and it seemed that something was cracking. At about the same time, therewas a sharp pain in her right arm, and she was shocked. Called out! The girllooked terrified: ¡°Mom!¡± Ms. Fangfell to the ground, her right arm hurt so much that she couldn¡¯t stand upright, she cried in pain, and soon caused passersby to watch. Speaking ofit, everything was taken from her own fault, and it seemed that she had passedby without any sympathy. On thecontrary, Aunt Luo was afraid of making things big, and whispered to Qiao Wei,¡°What¡¯s wrong with her, isn¡¯t it?¡± Qiao Weicalmly said, ¡°It¡¯s just loosing an arm, she wont die.¡± It is truethat she can¡¯t die, but for such a pampered women, this pain is moreufortable than killing her. ¡°whathappened?¡± There was aclear voice in the crowd, euphemistically cried. Passers-by froze for a momentand automatically gave way, a young girl wearing a goose yellow corset Luoskirt came over. She has a graceful figure and exquisite facial featuresbing a single snail, and fixing it with a pink jade silver cymbal. The wholeperson is also very tender, with face, neck, and hands, but all exposed skin isso pale and tender, as if it can be broken. In thisbarren town, the arrival of such a girl who looks like a fairy is almost likethe maiden of the Moon Pce, and the crowd was noisy suddenly became silent. She had agood smell of fragrant powder, a breeze blew, and the whole world was stainedwith a light fragrance. She walkedto Qiao Wei¡¯s side and stood still: ¡°I don¡¯t know why my maid offended hiswife, and it caused the wife to have such a big anger.¡± ¡°Youask her,¡± Qiao Wei said. The girlturned her head to look at Fang¡¯s mother. Fang¡¯s mother wanted to be born tothedy to sue this little bitch, but she was so speechless that she could notspeak at all, and the girl had exined the incident to thedy. Afterlistening to the girl, she nodded gracefully, and said to Qiao Wei, ¡°It ismy close-knit mother Tang Tu first. I¡¯m here, and I won¡¯tin to the girl onher behalf.¡± Herimpartiality won praise around her. Qiao Weigave her a strange look: ¡°You said that she was in the first ce, whichmeans I had already done with her. But unfortunately, I do not intend to Do it.¡° There was atrace of stasis in the girl¡¯s elegant expression. Qiao Weididn¡¯t panic, ¡°I was right in my heart and not in the eyes of others. Iwouldn¡¯t ept an apology that I didn¡¯t want to ept in order to show mygenerosity, and I wouldn¡¯t force myself togive an apology. ¡° For thefirst time, the girl encountered such a person who did not follow the rules ofthe card. For a time, she was so stupefied that she was speechless. Qiao Weismiled lightly: ¡°It was you who did the wrong thing. I just treated him inthe way of others. Why did the girl think I was wrong?¡± There isnothing wrong with this. In modern times, the murder of mothers is punishable, but in ancient times, such behavior would be praised by the emperor. Qiao Wei¡¯smother was bullied, and she would really make peopleugh if she didn¡¯t bullyback. Therefore, in the eyes of everyone, she repaired her mother¡¯s dignity. Not only was there nothing wrong, but she was very happy. The girlnaturally felt the attitude of the crowd, took a deep breath, and slowly said,¡°I was not well worded before, it was mine. Nothing happened today. Myclose-knit mother was abrupt, and I am here, sincerely telling the girlApologies. ¡° ¡°I saidI didn¡¯t ept it.¡± ¡°you¡¡¡± Qiao Weisaid: ¡°You hit my mother, and an apology will be done. Isn''t it possiblethat anyone wille to hit my mother in the future, and then everyone willjust say sorry?¡± The girl¡¯plexion turned red: ¡°Don¡¯t you already taught your mother?¡± Qiao Weinodded: ¡°Yeah, so you don¡¯t need to apologize. The wicked have eaten theevil. Today¡¯s business, its done so you can go no need to apologize.¡± The girl TieQing walk into her carriage. Fang¡¯smother was also carried to the carriage. Looking atthe back of the young girl, Qiao Wei felt an inexplicable rejection in herheart, for some reason. ¡°Oh, doyou know who that person is? Dare to watch her lively.¡± An old beggarsitting on the street said, drinking wine from the gourd. An auntasked, ¡°Who, Mr. Li, do you recognize?¡± Lao Li drankhis wine and said, ¡°Her carriage is engraved with Panax notoginseng, whichis the national emblem of Ember House.¡± ¡°Whatis Ember House?¡± Aunt asked. ¡°Idon¡¯t even know Enbo.¡± Lao Li rolled his eyes, ¡°Ember is the first ofthe four medical doctors in Beijing. It¡¯s famous! That little girl, if Iguessed right, it should be Ember House is now ¡®the eldest daughter¡¯. ¡° Dasaughed and said, ¡°Do you even know this, Mr. Li? Did you go to thetheater again?¡± Lao Linced at her: ¡°You just went to the theater! When I was walking southand north in Beijing, you didn¡¯te out of your mother¡¯s belly!¡± ¡°Ouch, you olddy, dare to take advantage of your mother!¡± Dasao tried to hithim, but he looked so dirty and took his hands back. Old Li¡¯shead stretched out his hand: ¡°Give a copper te, I will continue to tellyou.¡± ¡°I¡¯mtoozy to listen, you love to say or not!¡± Auntie walked away with herbasket. Suddenly, acopper te fell from the sky and fell into the broken bowl of Lao Li¡¯s headimpartially. Lao Li¡¯shead was busy looking up. There was a tea house upstairs. I don¡¯t know who gavethe money and didn¡¯t show up. Opposite LaoLi¡¯s head, Qiao Wei happened to see the man who lost the copper te upstairs. He was a man wearing a mask. The old Ligot the money and went on to say, ¡°Ember originally had three bedrooms(wifehouse) and child of legitimate first wife was the former Emperor Gong. He fellinto the water and died unfortunately. He had no son under his knees, and onlya five-year-old daughter had to inherit the title. Today, thisdy is a childof the second room. ¡° The auntiewho has left is back again: ¡°Don¡¯t you say that thest Emperor had adaughter? Why wasn¡¯t she the youngdy?¡± The old Lihead said: ¡°That was originally, but she made a mistake a few years agoand was expelled from the house.¡±
Article Navigation Chapter 15 After leaving the stall, Qiao Wei nned to hire a carriageto go back. Aunt Luo often came to town, so she knew a few carriages. The two wentto the carriage store and asked for the price, which was twice as expensive asthe dipper. Of course, their carriage had a shed, which was obviously moreluxurious. The problem is that Qiao Wei doesn¡¯t need it to be luxurious, shejust needs it cheap. She was verylucky. When she was dissatisfied with a few car dealers, she met Fathermiraculously. It turnedout that it was the father who got a few people to the town to go to rtives. At this moment, he was worried about where to pull people back to the vige.Coincidentally, he met Qiao Wei. ¡°XiaoQiao, why are you going back? Is the business bad? Why can¡¯t you sell it?¡± Auntie Luonced at him and showed him the empty basket of radish cakes, ¡°Sold outearly, okay?¡± ¡°Isthis, it¡¯s sold out?¡± Dianzi was incredible. He hadn¡¯t seen the vigergo to town to sell things, but who hadn¡¯t touched his nose on the first day? He looked atXiao Qiao. Qiao Weibent her lips and give him a radish cake from the basket. Aftereating, he finally understood why Xiao Qiao¡¯s stuff was sold out. Beforeleaving, Qiao Wei went to the bazaar to buy some ingredients so that she couldmake more fresh patterns. She also bought a catfish and braised them forchildren at night. ¡ However, shesaid that the mother in the room was injured and taken to the medical centerfor treatment. The girl waited in the carriage sadly, and saw the obscurity. She frowned,¡°What are you hiding?¡± The girltook out a basket of white rabbits brazenly, and the basket was about the sizeof a hand. If the bamboo leaves were woven, it was very delicate. The bunny iseven smaller, but it is lively, soft and cute, like real. ¡°Whatis this?¡± The girl asked curiously. Themaidservant said, ¡°Snack.¡± The girl wassurprised to see such a delicate snack: ¡°Where did you buy it?¡± The girldidn¡¯t dare to say it was brought from Qiao Wei, she only said,¡°Town.¡± Of course, the girl did not expect to be from Qiao Wei either. If she knew it, she mightvomit blood. She usually doesn¡¯t eat things brought from the side of the road, butthis snack is really good. She couldn¡¯t help but to taste it, and then shestopped. The girlopened an exquisite mahogany silver food box: ¡°Miss, why don''t we givethis to Mrs. Ji?She will definitely will like it.¡± The girlgroaned for a moment, poured out the four candy Gourd to the silver box. ¡ Qiao Weispent some time buying ingredients, and it was noon when she returned to thevige. At the door of Aunt Luo¡¯s house, there was a person, medium height, burly, dark-skinned, and tough-looking. It was Luo Yongzhi, the oldest son ofAunt Luo. Luo Yongzhisaw his mother and Xiao Qiao¡¯s family get off the carriage of the father, andthere was a momentary encounter. In the vige, it is said that his motherrecognized Xiao Qiao as a daughter. Is it true? ¡°Mother.¡±He saw that the two were unloading from Daddy¡¯s carriage and hurried to help. He is anative crop man, so powerful as a cow, he unloaded more than 200 kilograms ofgoods in three or two times. Qiao Weiowed herself gratefully: ¡°Thank you Brother.¡± This ''brotherpletely confirmed Luo Yongzhi¡¯s guess. Luo Yongzhididn¡¯t have much contact with Xiao Qiao. The most intuitive impression is thatthis is a young and beautiful little widow. There aremany rumors about her in the vige, which are probably not good, but men¡¯sviews are always different from women¡¯s. He thinks that Xiao Qiao is good, beautiful and pitiful. His motherlikes Xiao Qiao, so he likes it, and Xiao Qiao will be his sister in thefuture. ¡°Sister.¡±He greeted generously. Qiao Wei¡¯sheart warmed and she pulled the two children and said, ¡°Jing Yun, WangShu, called uncle.¡± The two menyelped ¡°uncle¡± milkily. Luo Yongzhismiled frankly and honestly: ¡°Really good! Let¡¯s go to uncle¡¯s house toy another day.¡± Auntie Luowatched a few people talking so smoothly and felt very happy, and asked her son with a smile,¡°Why are you back? Is there anything wrong?¡± Luo Yongzhionly recognized his sister, and he almost forgot to take the businessseriously. He said, ¡°Isn¡¯t Cuiyun''s brother admitted school? Her father gothim a seat and so celebrated. He was afraid that he won''t be free. I want toask you to help. ¡° Cuiyun isLuo Yongzhi¡¯s wife. Her younger brother has just passed the age of ten thisyear and has already passed the test to admit in school. This is a great eventin a vige where he can hardly read. Aunt Luo asked:¡°when?¡± ¡°thirdday.¡± He looked at Xiao Qiao, wondering if she could go, but when heremembered that she was not close to them, he said nothing. Auntie Luosaid, ¡°That¡¯s the day after tomorrow. I see. I will go.¡± Luo Yongzhidistressed that the mother was always at home and invited her to live with herfor a few days, but was rejected by Aunt Luo. Xiao Qiao¡¯sbusiness is just getting started, and it is when she needs manpower that shecan¡¯t go like this. Luo Yongzhilearned that Xiao Qiao was doing business, and was very happy for Qiao Wei:¡°my sister skill is so good. Why don''t teach me some?" Qiao Weismiled and nodded: ¡°Okay, sure Brother.¡± Luo Yongzhihelped Qiao Wei carry more than 200 kilograms of ingredients to the mountain.Qiao Wei called him for lunch. After lunch he took his leave At noon,Qiao Wei braised the fish, and the two children waited until they finally emptingthe te. Qiao Weipacked up the chopsticks and went to the kitchen to wash. Auntie Luo took herhand and said, ¡°Let''s go, let the children take some rest. They are stillyoung and should eat and rest more. They were awake all day, they must be tired". As soonas Qiao Wei thought about it she felt same. After all she didn¡¯t have the habitof taking a nap herself, but should let the children be. She called them andcoaxed them to sleep. Qiao Weicame to the kitchen door: ¡°Mother, let me go out.¡± Aunt Luolooked at her strangely: ¡°Where are you going? Don¡¯t tell me you¡¯re goinginto the mountain again.¡± Qiao Wei wasembarrassed and squeezed his ears: ¡°I made two traps in the mountainsyesterday and have to see if any prey was hooked up. It was safe by theside.¡± Auntie Luo: ¡°you would never change!¡± Qiao Weitook the self-defense dagger away. After encountering a tiger once, she scaredher death more than anyone else, so the ce she chose was really not theforest center. Afterentering the forest, she found the cage hidden in the thickets ording to themarks she made, and in the cage were bait such as carrots and minced meat. Both cageswere open, and the strange thing was that the bait in one of them was gone. The bait isgone. There should be a small animal hooked. But whatabout small animals? Qiao Weitossed around and found no hooked animals, but found one or two silvers. Whathappened? The servantwoman moved an embroidered stool and ced it next to Mrs. Ji¡¯s rattan chair. The girl sat down gently, and presented the peach and silver brocade box to theservant woman. ¡°Xi¡¯er just returned from the Bodhi Temple. The olddybought some snacks. ¡° The servantopened the food container and presented it to Mrs. Ji. Mrs. Ji hasseen the world before. This kind of trick is not enough to surprise her. Shejust looked at the face of the girl and tasted it slightly, only one look, herlook changed. The girlwatched the olddy¡¯s reaction and smiled gently: ¡°How old is the oldy?¡± Mrs. Jifinished the whole red bean glutinous rice cake, and she kept picking up thesecond one: ¡°Where did you buy it?¡± The girlsaid with a smile: ¡°I bought it in Rhino Town.¡± ¡°Rhinotown?¡± Mrs. Ji paused, holding her sweet cake, and looked at the servantgirl aside. ¡°But the one we passed byst time?¡± The servant womanreplied, ¡°Exactly.¡± The girlfroze slightly: ¡°Olddy, have you been to Rhino Town?¡± ¡°Wherehave you been? But ¡ how did she remove the foreignbody since she didn¡¯t cut your throat?¡± Mrs. Jisaid, ¡°She just pressed me a few times and I spit it out.¡± ¡°Howmany presses? Could it be qigong(breathing exercise)?¡± The girl askedsuspiciously. Mrs. Jishook her head: ¡°I don¡¯t know.¡± The girllooked down and smiled slightly: ¡°Anyway, you¡¯re fine.¡± Mrs. Jilooked at the bunny in her hand and said, ¡°This dessert is good. If themeditation is done, I will love it.¡± The girl¡¯sheart concealed her loss: Lord ¡ I haven¡¯t returned yet. ¡ Qiao Weitook the silver and left the forest. The cage ishidden in a sink, and it is difficult for ordinary people to detect. Onlyforaging animals can find it with a strong sense of smell. How did the personwho gave the silver find it? Will it notbe Xu Dazhuang? Xu Dazhuanghas been hunting for many years. It doesn¡¯t seem difficult to find one or twotraps based on clues, but ¡ he will hunt himself, why should he buy it fromsomeone¡¯s cage? Or use the sky-high price of one or two silver. In that cagewere baits of hares and pheasants, and only they were fooled. One hare cansell one hundred wen in the market, one pheasant can sell eighty wen, one ortwo silver is one thousand wen, and ten hares and twelve pheasants can bebought. These priceswere still told by Xu Dazhuang. If he bought them, he would never give so muchmoney. But if itwas not Xu Dazhuang, who woulde into the forest? Qiao Weicouldn¡¯t think of it until she returned to the yard, she simply didn¡¯t want to. Auntie Luowas calcting her ount, she was so anxious that she did not notice thatshe came back empty-handed: ¡°¡ a total of 120 pieces were sold. How didthey sell them?¡± Qiao Weidrew wood chips and charcoal, and said while drawing give herplete detailsof sales like aputer. As soon asAuntie Luo looked at the picture, she understood: ¡°Is there one more?Didn¡¯t you make fifty?¡± Qiao Weisaid: ¡°When there were only five left, I only received money for four, gavegave her one for free.¡± ¡°Ah,yes.¡± Aunt Luo nodded again and again, thinking of something, looked atQiao Wei in surprise: ¡°Do you remember so clearly?¡± She wasoften referred to as a walkingputer, and it is not a problem to memorizethe precise medical data. She smiledand said, ¡°Naturally, my memory is good.¡± Auntie Luoand Yourong said, ¡°My daughter is so capable!¡± In theafternoon, Qiao Wei¡¯s custom-made bed arrived, and the other party asked if itneeded to be assembled. Qiao Wei said, ¡°Do you want to add money?¡± ¡°Yes.¡±The other side nodded. Qiao Weishook her head: ¡°That¡¯s all right, I¡¯ll do it myself.¡± Those peopledidn¡¯t believe that a little woman could do the carpentry work, and waited forQiao Wei to fail to pay for them. Who would expect Qiao Wei to enter the house, and a bed was packed in less than a quarter of an hour. . Everyone wasstunned. At night, the children slept in their new beds and were reluctant to go back to sleep. The bed wasbought by Qiao Wei for herself. It was not too big and cold, but the twochildren had to squeeze in. She said that she slept back to her bed and thechildren crawled up to her bed again. Sheunderstood, the little guy just wanted to sleep with his mother. In the end,the three fell asleep on the warm bed¡ The nextday, Qiao Wei was still up at dawn. She made fifty yesterday and sold it out ina quarter of an hour. Today she made 150: one hundred red bean glutinous ricecakes and fifty taro snowballs. The price isthe same as yesterday. After havingbreakfast, she and Auntie Luo took the children to the town in the carriage ofthe father, and they still rented yesterday¡¯s stall for twenty dors. As soon asshe took out the snacks in the basket, she was surrounded by a group of people. ¡°Why ste?¡± ¡°Yeah, waited a long time.¡± ¡°Areyou still selling two pennies type today?¡± Qiao Weismiled and responded one by one. ¡°Giveme four.¡± ¡°I wantfour too.¡± ¡°Sendone for ten?¡± Yesterday, Ibought a lot of them one by one. Today, there are almost four of them, especially the red bean sticky rice cakes. Due to the high number of repeatcustomers, they are selling fast. Tarosnowballs are a new variety. Qiao Wei cut a few for everyone to try, as usual, bought them at the end, and saw so many others bought without trying, and alsotook out for parcel. That scenewas so hot that the owner of the tea house opposite was surprised: ¡°Is itreally delicious? You can buy two for Primary Six.¡± Xiao Liurushed to buy it, but when it was finally his turn, it was sold out.Article Navigation Chapter 17 Today she made a hundred more than yesterday, but they weresold out quickly. The poprity was too much, even Qiao Wei was surprised. Not that shedid n''t think it would be easy to sell, but she don''t know it would be so easyto sell. Going onlike this, it won¡¯t be long before she can take over thend lease next year. Qiao Wei isin a good mood. The childrenwere in a good mood. Although they didn¡¯t know how to do business, they saw theothers¡¯ stalls deserted, and their own stalls were too busy, and they felt asense of liveliness and joy involuntarily. Qiao Weistill bought three candy gourds for the children as usual, and then started toshare with Aunt Luo. Just halfwaythrough, a fine-quality carriage stopped in front of the stall, and a girlwearing a light green dress walked down from it, who was walking with hermother. She camehurriedly: ¡°Madam, I want twenty red bean sticky rice cakes!¡± Qiao Weismiled: ¡°Sorry, girl, you¡¯rete, it¡¯s sold out.¡± The girlfrowned in disappointment: ¡°Ah? It¡¯s sold out? Why is it so fast? Istarted from Beijing early in the morning and came to buy your snacks!¡± AlthoughQiao Wei didn¡¯t like her mother and thedy, but the impression of thisstraight girl was not bad: ¡°If I knew you woulde, I would have leaveit for you.¡± Thegirl-inw thought for a while, and took out one or two pieces of silver fromthe purse. ¡°Then you leave it for me tomorrow, and I¡¯ll make a depositfirst.¡± They haveonly seen each other, or in the case of disputes with her master Qian Jin, shedared to make a deposit¨C Qiao WeiRenjun couldn¡¯t help but said: ¡°I¡¯m a stall, not a shop, are you afraidthat I will collect your money and run away?¡± ¡°Ah?Will you?¡± Aunt widened her eyes. Qiao Weididn¡¯t know what to say, but smiled helplessly: ¡°No.¡± The girlpatted her chest with relief. Qiao Weialso said, ¡°What snacks and how many do you order?¡± ¡°Aren¡¯tyou the only red bean sticky rice cake? Anything else?¡± The girl asked. Qiao Weiclosed up the stool and tied it up. ¡°I made some taro snowballs today andthey sell well.¡± Thegirl-inw thought without thinking: ¡°That¡¯s all twenty!¡± ¡°Youeat so much by yourself?¡± Qiao Wei asked in surprise. The girlsaid, ¡°It ''s not for me, it¡¯s for Mrs. Ji. You don¡¯t know, the cakes Ibought from youst time were given to Mrs. Ji by mydy. She likes them, andthedy asked I have to buy some more back. But today it seems impossible tobuy, I muste tomorrow! ¡° ¡°Okay.¡±Although I don¡¯t know who the olddy is, but someone who can be courted byEmbe ''s government must be powerful. Qiao Wei returned the silver to thegirl-inw. ¡°One hundred is enough. Is there any change?¡± ¡°Yes,yes!¡± The girl took the silver and pulled out a small string of money fromthe purse, which was exactly a hundred words. Today theycouldn''t run into the father. Qiao Wei and Auntie Luo rented a carriage in thetown. Now that the business is good, they don''t care about this money. Excludingthe round-trip transportation costs, they still have 300 yuan left today, whichcan buy 100 kilos of rice. Just half amonth ago, a family of three did not dare to expect themself to eat white rice. Now, let alone rice, the meat is also possible, and the children¡¯s looks muchbetter. Qiao Wei cutsome pork belly and wanted to buy calcium-supplemented shrimps for thechildren, but since winter is not a season for shrimp production, and it istransported from far south, the price can be described as expensive. If she buysseven or eight pounds, she can go bankrupt. Finally shebought a fish. The fish wasstewed, the pork belly was braised with carrots, and the family of five (thelittle ferret is a member) ate quickly. After eatingrice, Qiao Wei went to the mountain forest, mainly to check if there were anysmall animals hooked, and change the fresh bait by the way. To her greatsurprise, the doors of both cages were closed today, and the bait inside wasgone. But one cage had a pheasant, while the other had nothing, only one or twosilver. Is this ¡bought her prey again? !! Who is it? Afterthinking about it yesterday, Qiao Wei eliminated the vigers one by one.Everyone is poor. They don''t spend one or two bucks to buy a game. Even if theywant to buy it, they will find Xu Dazhuang directly, and they will not "take"directly from a cage. Could it besaid that there are still people living in this forest? Qiao Weireturned suspiciously to the yard. Aunt Luo hadjust washed her children¡¯s hair, drying wet hair one by one, like a henhouse, theireyes were soggy, and they are so cute. Qiao Weicouldn¡¯t help but rub on the two heads. Auntie Luolooked at the pheasant in her hand and said, ¡°Caught it? This chicken hasless three or five pounds and can sell for a good price.¡± ¡°Not forsale.¡± Qiao Wei packed the chicken in a cloth bag and handed it to AuntLuo: ¡°It¡¯s been hard for you these days. You can take it to yourbody.¡± Aunt Luodoes not want to. Qiao Weisaid, ¡°I know you didn¡¯t want to get anything in return for your help, butI want to honor my elders, you have to fulfill my mind.¡± Speaking ofthis, Mrs. Luo couldn¡¯t stop epting it, hesitated, and said, ¡°There issomething, I want to talk to you already.¡± ¡°What¡¯sthe matter?¡± Qiao Wei asked. Auntie Luosaid: ¡°Your sister-inw¡¯s brother, you go with me, I can see that yourbrother wants to call you, but was afraid that you could not reject.¡± ¡°She¡±used to be famous in the vige, and Luo Yongzhi was afraid to ask her. Shedidn¡¯t want to go, but she had to go because of her feelings, which wasembarrassing. She wasworried that she had no chance to repay Mrs. Luo. Even if Mrs. Luo did notmention it herself, she was going to mention it, and she readily agreed. After AuntieLuo left, she went into the kitchen to prepare the ingredients to be used inthe early morning tomorrow. She doesn¡¯t sell overnight items. Consideringthat Cuiyun¡¯s brother had to go out of business for the day after tomorrow, shedecided to do more tomorrow. When she wasready, she entered the room, and somehow remembered the prey. I wonder ifthat person wille tomorrow. Wouldn¡¯t itbe great to charge him one or two times each time? A hare has ahundred articles, and she sells them a thousand articles. She is a Qingdaoprawn in disguise! Conscience disturbeda little. Qiao Weitouched her chin and decided the entire price list. She¡¯s seenthe words of this era in town, a little bit like a magpie. Her regr scriptof traditional Chinese characters is still alive, and Xiao zhen is tooembarrassed by her. Afterhesitating, she decided to use stick figures. First draw arabbit on a thin wooden board, and then draw a white fly next to the rabbit. When theprice of the pheasant was painted, she drew a ck fly and added eight smallstones under the ck fly. Afterdrawing, she put the wooden sign in a cage in the forest.Article Navigation Chapter 18 The next day, on the second day of the second lunar month,Qiao Wei packed the pastry into a basket, and four people arrived in town asusual. Today shemade 50 more than yesterday, of which 40 were red bean sticky rice cakes andtaro snowballs, which had already been booked. When shearrived at Daxing Street, she found that the stall that had been used for twodays had already been upied. Fortunately, she was empty next to it, and shewas going to put it down first, and then go to the business department to paythe money. "Well, why? Don''t you see I took it already? ¡° ¡°Butthere is nothing on it,¡± Qiao Wei said. The bigdysnorted: ¡°I am going to have it!¡± This is deliberatelymaking trouble. It seems that the business has been too good these two days, and has made some people jealous. Qiao Weihas children with her so its inconvenient to quarrel, so she took the basketand left. She rentedthe most deste stall at the end today, renting fifteen pens, five pens lessthan the previous one. There arevery few people here, and there are not many passing by. When the things werejust put out, there was almost no one to worry about. But after a while, regr customers came over. This streetis not big, and it is still easy to find a stall carefully. After the firstregr customerse, gradually the second and third alsoe. Soon thestalls are full of people. As soon asthere are more people, the business is ready. Less than anhour of effort, snacks sold out. For the sakeof the location, although it is not as fast as the previous two days, the rentis not as expensive as the previous two days. It is more cost-effective todayto think about it. ¡°Howcan I say this? I am really proud to say you are my family with your talent!¡±Aunt Luo counted the money cheerfully and said with honor. A littlewoman came over with a child: ¡°I want two red bean sticky ricecakes.¡± Qiao Weiapologized, ¡°I¡¯m sorry, today¡¯s snacks are sold out?¡± The littlewoman stumbled into the basket: ¡°don''t you have some in the basket?¡± Qiao Weisaid, ¡°That was already reserved.¡± ¡°Ah?¡±The little woman looked disappointed. The boy shewas holding was about the same age as Jing Yun, thin and small, drooling whilelooking at the basket. Qiao Wei¡¯s heartmoved slightly: ¡°I can¡¯t sell pastries, but I still have some radish cakesthat I eat here. If you don¡¯t want to give up, I will give you two.¡± The littldy was not interested when she heard that radish was made. But it was notgood for others, so he took the carrot cake from Qiao Wei and handed it to hisson, ¡°Here.¡± The carrotson the cake made a emoji package, which looked very cute. The little boy likedit very much, and he liked it more after taking a bite in his mouth. This radishcake is not the original vegetarian radish cake. It containsmb and braisedpork. It can be said to be a radish pie. The littldy was busy, ¡°How many do you sell me?¡± Qiao Weismiled slightly: ¡°If your likes it, take some to eat. You are also aregr customer. Thank you for taking care of my business, you should treat itas gift to my old customers.¡± The littldy was shocket: ¡°really?¡± ¡°yes.¡±Qiao Wei took four slightly radish radish cakes from a basket that was tightlycovered with a small quilt. The littlewoman left gratefully. The girl fromEmbe ''s government came here at noon. When she got out of the bus, shehurriedly looked for Qiao Wei: ¡°Sorry, sorry, the carriage is broken!Repair till now! You must have waited for me for a long time, right? So how doyou change ces? Almost? I almost couldn¡¯t find you. ¡° ¡°Therent is cheap here.¡± Qiao Wei smiled and gave her the packaged snacks.¡°There are 46 in total.¡± The girlyelled: ¡°You gave me two more?¡± Buying ten and getting one, should beforty-four. Qiao Weismiled slightly: ¡°These two are for the girl to eat.¡± ¡°Thankyou very much.¡± The girl smiled sweetly. ¡°I have so muchtomorrow!¡± Qiao Weisaid politely: ¡°No tomorrow, I won¡¯t set up a stall, it will be the dayafter tomorrow.¡± ¡°Theday after tomorrow,¡± said the aunt, distressed, ¡°then I will get theday after tomorrow.¡± The girl gavesome money and brought snacks to the carriage. ¡°Actually,I think radish cakes will also sell well.¡± Aunt Luo said as she packed thestalls. Qiao Weialso thought about selling radish cakes, but the radish cakes are not deliciouswhen they are cold, and can''t be sold after a long time. Most people buy one ortwo in their hands to eat. Definitely unwilling, from this point of view alone,it is not as good as the sales of pastries. The twopacked up their things and went home. Today, they are still a carriage hiredfrom the town. On the wayback, a carriage followed them. At first, Qiao Wei thought that the other partywas on the way. When he walked to a hardly popted ce, the other partysuddenly elerated and went to block them ahead. Threeferocious men came down from the carriage. The coachmanlooked at them in horror: ¡°What are you doing?¡± The headedHan yelled, ¡°its none of your business , leave!¡± The coachmanleft swiftly. A littlehorror shed across Aunt Luo¡¯s face: ¡°What happened?¡± Qiao Weichanged her face and said, ¡°I¡¯ll go and see. You and the children shouldstay in the carriage, don¡¯te down.¡± ¡°XiaoWei ¡¡± Qiao Weipatted her hand to signal her not to worry. She nodded nervously and hugged thetwo children. Qiao Weicalmly stepped out of the carriage and nced at the three strong men on theopposite side without blinking. Qiao Wei asked gently, ¡°What can I do foryou?¡± The crowdwas surprised when they saw her so calm, because they were the famous bulliesin this area. Who saw them and didn¡¯t won''t get scared? ¡°Do youknow who we are?¡± The strong man head asked. Qiao Wei didnot panic, ¡°I don¡¯t know.¡± The leaderwas stunned. The littleman behind him said: ¡°Boss, what nonsense with her? Hurry up and solve herso we can go back and get our reward!¡± It seemsthat someone bought a murderer. The leadercleared his throat and said, ¡°You listen to me. From tomorrow on, you are notallowed to do business in Daxing Street! Otherwise once I see you, you are done!¡± So, whatelse does Qiao Wei don¡¯t understand? Her business is so good that some peoplewere jealous. She wasn¡¯tscared. If shepromised today, even if she changes ces tomorrow, someonewill still bully her. Rather, solve it all at once. ¡°Idon¡¯t move, how do you n to deal with me?¡± Qiao Wei asked. The leaderdidn¡¯t expect that the seemingly fragile little girl was not afraid of them atall. Was he not clear enough or was the girl¡¯s brain sick? ¡°Smellygirl! Don¡¯t you see the death in face and still don¡¯t cry?¡± He snarled. Qiao Weinced at him and said, ¡°Who is going to die and who is going to shedtears is not sure yet sure. I won''t go down without a fight.¡± ¡°Fuck!¡±The leader jumped angrily, took a deep breath, and gritted his teeth towardQiao Wei!Article Navigation Chapter 19 Faced with a young and strong adult tiger, Qiao Wei may feelscared. The disparity in strength and shorings in experience make herreluctant to grab its edge. People aredifferent. If she were to face tiger she might feel scared but humanswere different. There aretoo many weaknesses in a human body. There are 108 points to cause harm tohuman body, of which 36 are fatal points, monly known as dead points. The deadacupoints are divided into soft hemp, dizziness, light and heavy four points, all of which have nine points. A songtactic was sung like this-¡°Baihui fell to the ground, the tail was notreturned, Zhangmen was hit, ten people were killed, the sun and the dumb doormust see the king, the broken spine had no bones, and his knees were anxiousPerish. ¡°[1] As long asyou master these skills, it will not be a problem to deal with ordinaryexperts. Qiao Weiflew towards the leader. The wind swelled head-on, blowing herck and bright hair, like flying satin. She reachedout, avoiding the arm that the leader used to grab at her, and gently touchedthe leader''s head, an incredible thing happened-the leader seemed to be shedby thunder, his eyes red, and his body was Stiff, fell straight to theground. Seeing that theleader had been defeated just like that, they couldn¡¯t believe their eyes. leaderis a well-known bully in the town. Why did he defeated by this little girl? Does thelittle girl have a hidden weapon? The twolooked at each other. ¡°What shouldwe do? Can¡¯t get on?¡± ¡°¡Certainly! Didn¡¯t you what she did to our leader ? How can I not avenge myelder brother!¡± The twocrossed their hearts and rushed towards Qiao Wei. At thistime, they did not believe that Qiao Wei could really beat them. The leader wasdistracted by her word and underestimated her. They had learned the lesson andwould pay special attention to her right hand. Not to mention that the two wereattacking together, no way she could beat them! However, thetwo were faster, Qiao Wei was faster than them, they did not see how Qiao Weimoved, they felt a numbness on their heads, and their entire bodies lostconsciousness. They fell tothe ground, eyes widened in horror. Qiao Weilooked down at them, ¡°Will you deal with me now?¡± Deal withdevil? their life is almost gone. Once again, you can go to see the hell ¡ The threeshook their heads in pain. They cant even move their finger. This pain is not assame as knife cut, ahh!.. it more unbearable than that. If aperson¡¯s leg is paralyzed, and the moment of shaking it to restoreconsciousness is extremely painful. Imagine if the whole body is paralyzed, andthe whole body is passively recovering consciousness, how painful it will be. ¡ª Thisfeels like, hell! ¡°Lady, spare our life, spare our life!¡± The leader couldn¡¯t stand it. He was theboss. He hadn¡¯t suffered for a long time. Seeing thebosses surrendered, the two followers also begged for mercy. Qiao Weisaid: ¡°If I was the one who begged you like this, would you have let mego?¡± Three peoplestunned, naturally ¡ they wouldn¡¯t. Qiao Wei tooka look at the three of them: ¡°Why do you ask me to let you go? I, anorphan and widow, did not steal, and make a small sale in the town based on mytrue skills. Is it wrong? ¡° ¡°No ¡not wrong ¡¡± The leader was crying. ¡°Idon¡¯t care who you are. After you go back, tell them that I must do business. If they dare to bother me, I won¡¯t just stop with few beating.¡± The leadernodded again and again: ¡°Yes, yes, we remember the words of the woman¡¡± Damn, thiswoman is too difficult to mess with, no matter how high the price is, they darenote to her for trouble. Qiao Wei gotthe guarantee and turned to prepare to return to her car. At this moment, asneaky figure, carefully slipped into Qiao Wei¡¯s carriage and caught a childfrom the inside! Qiao Wei¡¯seyes flickered: ¡°Wang Shu!¡± QiaoWangshuwa cried: ¡°Mother!¡± Qiao Weiscolded herself for making mistakes, only to deal with the three thugs, thinkingthat the other driver was as timid as his own driver, but did not expect suchdeceit! The mandidn¡¯t seem to want to entangle with Qiao Wei, hugged the child and ran away. His speed isextremely fast, and it is impossible for Qiao Wei to catch up as a woman. QiaoWei¡¯s heart is smashed into a ball. When Qiao Wei was thrown away by the otherparty, a ck figure suddenly flew in front of her. Kicking off the driver! The driver¡¯shands loosened involuntarily, and Qiao Wei shouted, ¡°Wang Shu¨C¡° The ckfigure took a sharp leap and steadily caught Qiao Wangshu. Qiao Wei ranquickly, took the child from the other¡¯s arms, and hugged them tightly:¡°Wang Shu!¡± Qiao Wangshupinched his mother¡¯s neck. ¡°It¡¯sokay, it¡¯s okay, not afraid, eh?¡± Qiao Wei patted the back of herdaughter¡¯s hand. Qiao Wangshunodded her eyes. Qiao Weijust looked at the benefactor who saved her daughter. He was a 13-year-old boywith a delicate and handsome face, big eyes, bright, ck gemstone-like eyes .The mother and daughter turned around, full of shock. He put theindex finger of his right hand into his mouth to imply keep mouth shut. Qiao Weifroze, and gave him a blessing: ¡°Thank you for your help, and dare to ask yourname.¡± The boyblinked his big eyes and looked at the small glutinous ball(wangshu) in QiaoWei¡¯s arms. Theglutinous ball was embarrassed, twisted the ass, and buried her face in hermother¡¯s arms. Qiao Wei wasamused and was about to start talking, and an ox cart came up. Yes, it¡¯sbig and wide. It¡¯s a shabby ox cart. The coachmanwas a man wearing a bucket hat(helmet), wearing a bup sack, a straw bag, andholding a soft whip in his hand, but did not use it. The tall and strong oxseemed to know the road and moved forward on its own. Qiao Wei hasalso seen other people riding ox cart in the vige, but no one can do it likea painting like him. Mask coveredmost of the man¡¯s features, only showing a clean chin, white as moon anddelicate as jade. Seems like¡ where I¡¯ve seen him. Think of it,teahouse! He was inthe teahouse and threw a copper te to Lao Li¡¯s head, so that Lao Li¡¯s headcontinued to exin the fighting man in Embe House. How could hemeet him here? ¡°Seventeen.¡± He spoke. It soundedlike a cello under the sun, deep and calm. The teenagercalled seventeen jumped onto the ox cart. Qiao Weiunderstood that the boy was with him, and the reason why he had just shot wasthat he had also listened to his orders. Qiao Weihugged her daughter and stepped forward, and saluted him deeply: ¡°Thankyou.¡± The mantilted his head slightly, wearing a helmet, Qiao Wei could not see his face, but could feel that his eyes fell on himself, cool and without a trace ofemotion. Qiao Weiquickly realized that the opponent did not try to save someone, but he did sothat to clear his path that being blocked.

The coachmanfelt very guilty for not being able to help, and left without a word. He went tothe nearby county council, where Uncle Luo worked as a permanent worker. This countymagistrate is a good person, has been working here for more than ten years, andhad made many great achievements, and soon he is sent to arrest criminals. ¡°him?¡±he quickly grabbed the driver. Qiao Weipointed to the three strong men who had just regained consciousness: ¡°Andthem.¡± The three menwere stunned, why us? Didn¡¯t you say you¡¯d leave us? The leaderheaded and said, ¡°Well, woman, we didn¡¯t agree that way at thebeginning!¡± Qiao Wei¡¯s saidcoldly: ¡°You didn¡¯t bother my children at the beginning.¡± The leader cried, ¡°No, it¡¯s him who dealt with the kid!not us! We¡¯re not with him!¡± Qiao Weiindifferently said, ¡°It doesn¡¯t matter! you can say this to the countymagistrate.¡± No, the county magistrate is a strictofficial, falling to his hands, his ass is going to bloom! He almostknelt down to Qiao Wei: ¡°Lady! We have to help you with the letter!¡± Qiao Weiuttered a word: ¡°No need now. Any letter, I will send it myself.¡± The threedesperately begged for mercy¨C ¡°Lady! Spareour life!¡± ¡°Lady,we really don¡¯t know him!¡± ¡°Wejust hired his carriage! He had a cheap carriage ¡ it was the first time wesaw him ¡¡± The threebullies were crying, and the driver was silent, so calm that people couldn¡¯tsee that he had broken two ribs by being kicked by shiqi. This can''tbe just a coachman at all. As for who he is, we can¡¯t make a conclusion for themoment. He must a child trafficker, otherwise why would he catch a child? The threebullies are mixed up with him, even though they want to threaten her to submit,Qiao Wei can be sure that they are not a same group. But still, they caused thedriver to provoke them, and it was ¡°tiring¡± to handle them. A group wastaken away and locked in the cell. On the wayback, Madam Luo kept ming herself for not protecting her child. Qiao Weforted her: ¡°That man has martial arts, even I can¡¯t catch him, don¡¯tneed to say about you, don¡¯t me yourself, it¡¯s not your fault. ¡° When AuntieLuo saw Xiao Wei not me her, she felt a little bit more relieved, but shewas still very scared: ¡± it was so dangerous, and I won¡¯t let you go to dobusiness anymore.¡± Qiao Weismiled slightly: ¡± If you want to make money there is not any way withoutprovoking hate of others. It''smon for people to be jealous. If others don''tprovoke me, I won''t provoke them. That''s natural, that''s ok too ¡° ¡°But¡¡± Aunt Luo was still not assured. Qiao Weismiled with a convincing smile: ¡°You can rest assured that I¡¯m doing asmall business, and offending only some small businessmen, they can¡¯t ytrick that I can handle it.¡± Just that wecant take the children to the street anymore. She can dealwith anyone alone, but if dealt with the children, she can''t. But wherecan I leave my child without taking them with me? ¡°Mother,do we have a private servant in our vige?¡± She asked. In moderntimes, children of this age are attending kindergartens. In ancient times, there was obviously no kindergarten, but she remembered that there was privateservant in ancient times. Auntie Luosaid: ¡°There is no ce in the vige.¡± ¡°Whatabout the vige next door?¡± Qiao Wei asked again. Mrs. Luoshook her head: ¡°None, there are hundreds of miles, there are two privateservants in town. Do you want Jingyun to go to school?¡± Qiao Weitouched the sleeping child: ¡°He is so young right?¡± Mrs. Luofrowned: ¡°I don¡¯t know about this. Our vige has only Cuiyun¡¯s youngerbrother, who is going to his school tomorrow. Will you ask him by theway?¡± ¡°it isgood.¡± As somethinghappened on the road, they came back a littleter than the previous two days.It was already afternoon in the mountain yard. The two children were hungry.Qiao Wei got into the kitchen and put down a few bowls of shredded noodles. The childrenate as usual and enjoyed the delicousness. It seemed that the recent incidenthad not affected the two. Qiao Wei secretly reassured. Auntie Luogathered her clothes in the yard, Qiao Wei brought fresh bait, and entered themountain again. Afterpoaching, she found her two trap cages, one with a pheasant, and the other witha small string of money. Really the man understood it. One hundredarticles is the price of a rabbit. It seems that the man bought a rabbit. Qiao Weipacked the money into a money bag, cleaned the cage and reced it with freshbait. ¡ Himefu InBaimeiyuan, Mrs. Ji sat down again to enjoy the flowers, holding a ¡°whiterabbit¡± in her hand, and ate with pleasure. The girlraised her wrists and poured a cup of tea to Mrs. Ji. Mrs. Jughed and said, ¡°I have troubled you, go to such a far away ce everyday to buy something for me.¡± The girlsmiled shyly: ¡°What does the olddy say? The girl waspleased to see the olddy eating, her eyes lightened, and she sat upright andsaid, ¡°It¡¯s almost Chinese New Year, hasn¡¯t the brothere back?¡± Madam Jisaid angrily: ¡°Yeah, I don¡¯t know where this messy boy went! I haven¡¯tbeen home for a year.¡± No morewords. The girl wasa little anxious. Wasn''t she co-axing the olddy all day for her ownrtionship with the brother? The olddysaid nothing, was he still thinking about the elder sister who had beenevicted? However, theeldest sister has done the kind of cold and vulgar things, and is no longereligible to marry him. Shiqi issquatting on the ground in the yard, blinking his eyes to see the rabbit on thefire, the rabbit is tender, the fire is roasting, and hissing oil. The drool ofshiqi flowed down from his mouth. The manturned the rabbit and asked Shiqi: ¡°Spicy?¡± Shiqinodded. Chapter 21 Its started snowing from the third day of first lunar month. Qiao Wei gets up earlyto get ready herself and her children for Cuiyun''s birthday party. Qiao Wei is a science student and very little knowledge in history. She heppens to know a little about county test. This is an exam for children in Ming and Qing dynasties to select talented one. It mostly held in February. The preliminary test sybus includes essay, poem, music, tactics, and so on. The secondary test includes check ones talent in math, science and intelligence. The child who passed the county test and government test was called Tong Sheng. If Tong Sheng passed the final round of college exams, he would be called a genious. If you cleared this examination, you no need to file tax and no need to kneel when facing officials. Cuiyun¡¯s brother is only ten years old to clear this which is remarkable. ording to her knowledge in history this preliminary test should happen in spring. But cuiyun''s brother attended test in winter which reasons, she might have traveled to dynasty not known in history. Qiao Wei made the children wear the new cotton jackets she bought a few days ago. The son in royal blue and daughter in tender pink andbed her beautiful bright hair elegantly. Qiao Weialso sew a pink cotton quilt for the little ferret with the remaining fabric. The little wont feel cold, but her daughter loves to dress it, so Qiao Weimakes some cloth for it time to time. After Qiao Wangshu sees to she and little both wearing pink outfil, she became very happy. Little ferret rolled its eyes screaming in mind ''I am a male''. The family of three went down the hill with umbres. This is thefirst time Qiao Wei took the children out to see their rtives, so childrenwere very excited. In the past, they always envy the children in the vigewho had rtives and often going to visit them and eat with them. Buttheir mother does not like to mingle with people, hence they live on themountain like an outcast. Well now, they can eat with everyone. ¡°WillErgoue?¡± Qiao Jingyun asked,Ergou was his only friend. ¡°yes¡±Qiao Wei gently patted his son¡¯s head. ¡°Will Tienie?¡± Qiao Jingyun asked again, Tieniu was his only opponent. Qiao Weithought about it and said, ¡°Yes.¡± Lao Xunzi isa respected person in vige and most people would be attending. Qiao Jingyunheard that he could see Ergouzi, and was pleased. When he heard that he wouldsee Tieniu, he sank again. Finally, after weighing it in his heart, he feltthat in order to see Ergouzi, he could tolerate seeing Tieniu. The threewent to meet Madam Luo first. When Madam Luo saw the new clothes on the children, her eyes were bright: ¡°so beautiful!¡± Beingplimented the kids were so exited and felt like waging their non-existing tail. Aunt Luolooked at the ferret in Qiao Wangshu¡¯s arms again. She almost didn¡¯t recognizeit in its clothes. It was so cute. Four peopleand one beast went to Cuiyun¡¯s family. Cuiyun niangwas already waiting at the door from early morning. It was already noon. Allthe guests were arrived. As soon as Cuiyun niang sees Aunt Luo, she was over joyed and grasped her hand and said ¡°wee home,e in and sit down!¡± . She looked at Xiao Qiao and smiled with joy, ¡°Little Qiao, Wee, happy to see you!¡± ¡°Mrs.Zhao.¡± Qiao Wei greeted politely. Cuiyun niangpulled her hand affectionately and asked her how she was doing her business. Then she touched the heads of the two children: ¡°Oh, what a beautifuldress! I also put on the dog?¡± Littleferret: ¡°!¡± The childrencalled grandma Zhao sweetly, and Cuiyun niang responded happily and led them tothe backyard. Many children were already ying there, and Jing Yun and hersister soon joined with the little ferret. Elders werebusy. Cuiyun¡¯sfamily is very popr in the vige, and every family has been invited. Inaddition, there are some people from the next vige and town, which add up tohundreds of people. It is nned to open eight tables per row, and eight people per table, on the open spaceoutside. It was justin the middle of the night that it suddenly snowed heavily and could notcontinue in the open air. Luo Yongzhiwas also in the shed, and waved at Qiao Wei from a distance: ¡°Sister!¡± Qiao Weismiled slightly: ¡°Brother.¡± A few guysnext to him gasped, Luo Yongzhi smugly said, ¡°Isn''t my sister so pretty? Don''tbe jealous ah!¡± A group ofpeopleughed. Cuiyun niangtook Qiao Wei and her inws to the backyard, where many people, eating, drinking, and remembering ¡ The gentleman, an old talent in the vige. It is saidthat when Lao Xiucai was young, he worked in arge family in Beijing. He wasfired for unknown reasons. He has lived in poverty and depression for manyyearsHe is the only talent in the vige, so he asionally helps in writingletters for others, and does not starve to death. Aunt Luo wasafraid that Qiao Wei was tired, and arranged a light errand for Qiao Wei: togive the old man a shot. That is to help the old man with collecting money, grindink, and paper¡ªin fact, it is a cloth. Paper is too expensive so they can''t affordthem. ¡°Hehave a bad temper, and you should be smart.¡± Mrs. Luo reminded kindly. Qiao Weinodded: ¡°yes, mother.¡± She did notinherit the memory of the original owner and happened to take this opportunityto know all the people in the vige. Lao Xiu wassulking and did not look at Qiao Wei at all. Qiao Wei wasquietly doing her own thing, collect money, count money, and reading characters. In themorning, she found that she earned a lot.She recognized all the people, learnedto read and write. Qiao Weithought about it and took a hundred pennies out of the money bag: ¡°Sir, Ialso like to pay my.¡± The old shownodded and motioned her to put the money in the basket: ¡°Name?¡± Everyone inthe vige knows her name, but he doesn¡¯t know what her name is. Anyway, if hedoesn¡¯t know the name of the original owner, she will report herself:¡°Qiao Wei.¡± The originalowner ''s surname is Qiao, and she herself is also named Qiao. No matter whatthe original owner ''s name is, from now on, she is herself. Lao Xiupaused suddenly and frowned strangely: ¡°What¡¯s your name?¡± Qiao Weithought he hadn¡¯t heard it clearly and reported it again: ¡°Qiao Wei.¡± Lao Xiulooked up and took a serious look at Qiao Wei and froze. How couldthere be such a person in the world? It looks exactly like Mrs. Qiao Wei ¡ Heremembered the youngdy, Qiao Wei. Chapter 22 Will this person be the youngdy? How did she be a vige girl? Even have two children? What happed in these past years after she left Ember family? ¡°Sir, sir?¡± Qiao Wei called him gently. Lao Xiu returned to his senses. There were too many people around him. He suppressed the urge to verify with the other party and wrote her name: ¡°Okay.¡± Qiao Wei felt he acts weird Qiao Wei put her money away and continued to stand next to Lao Xiucai. The old man said to her to sit down. She felt that the old man had a better attitude towards her after knowing her name and dismissed as it should be her own imagination. Qiao Wei thought secretly: Did he ignore me before just because I didn¡¯t pay money then? In the backyard, the children were ying happily. The brothers and sisters of the Qiao family suddenly became the target of all children because they had a cute little adorable pet. There are a lot of dogs in the vige, but none are as beautiful as Xiao Bai. Xiao Bai also wears pink and tender clothes and so cute! The children scrambled to be friends with the siblings just to get to touch and pet Xiao Bai. As Jingyun¡¯s best buddy, Ergouzi also had a chance to hug Xiaobai. Tie Niu also wanted to hug, but Jing Yun didn¡¯t like him and so didn¡¯t let him hug. The Tie Niu was directly ignored. Liu Xunzi was chatting with a few women in front of her, and saw her son crying out of the backyard. Shee quickly excused herself, walked over him and asked, ¡°Hey? Why are you crying?¡± Tie Niu told her that Qiao Jingyun is not letting him hold Xiao Bai. Liu Xunzi pped his forehead and said: ¡°Are you insane! Do you forgot that this beast has scratched you? Do you still want to hold it? If it was me I would have killed it!¡± Tie Niu stomped his feet and cried, ¡°I don¡¯t care! I also want a dog! I want a dog just like that! The same thing! I don¡¯t care what you do! I want it! You give it to me!¡± Liu Xunzi scolded him: ¡± Why are you crying for such a thing? Don¡¯t cry! Isn¡¯t it just a dog? I will get it for you.¡± Not long after, the first round of guests began toe outside. Several small tables were set up in the backyard especially for children and they were starting to eat there. While the children were immersed in eating, Liu Xunzi took a sack and quietly walked towards little ferret, who was sitting on the open field and gnawing chicken legs ¡ Qiao Wei is busy there. She ns to go to the kitchen to see if there is anything she can help. Just she took two steps and two babies hurried over: ¡°Mother! Xiaobai is gone!¡± Qiao Wei said: ¡°Don¡¯t worry, exin what happened to your mother.¡± ¡°I ¡ I ate with my brother. I gave Xiaobai a chicken w and let it gnaw over there. When I finished eating¡ I found it missing! I called it and it didn¡¯te out!¡± In the end, Qiao Wangshu almost cried. ¡°Don¡¯t cry, mother will help you find it.¡± Qiao Wei calmed her daughter and asked his son what he saw, his son shook his head. Over there, Auntie Luo heard the movement and came out to ask what happened. After learning that Xiaobai was gone, she hurried to apany the children to find him. Others didn¡¯t know that it was very precious, but she knew it. It was almost robbed by Embe ''s motherst time in the town. You can''t lose such expensive things. Several people searched for the ces they could find and found nothing. There was nothing they could do, and they had to ask them one by one if they saw Qiao¡¯s ¡°dog¡±. ¡°Just wearing a pink color cloth, this color!¡± Aunt Luo pointed to the cotton-padded jacket that Wangshu wearing. Qiao Wei was also asking. When asked about Liu Xunzi, he found that Liu Xunzi¡¯s eyes were a little dodging. Qiao Wei¡¯s pupils moved and looked at Liu Xunzi. ¡°Did Xunzi not see my pet?¡± Liu Xunzi said unpleasantly: ¡°Of course not! You ask all the people only once but you ask me twice, what do you mean? Do you suspect me? My Liu Cuihua is notcking money, do I need to steal you a dog? If I want me can¡¯t I buy it myself? ¡° ¡°Xunzi, please don¡¯t take it to heart, I have no doubt about Xunzi, but my dog ??is naughty and likes to mess around.¡± Qiao Wei said, smiling slightly to his side, his eyes fell on Liu Xunzi hiding under the table with his feet mped On the tight sack, ¡°Sister¡¯s sack is quite big, my little white loves to drill this kind of sack.¡± A sh of confusion shed in Liu Xunzi¡¯s eyes: ¡°It was me who tied the sack, your dog can¡¯t get in!¡± Qiao Wei smiled slightly: ¡°The sister didn¡¯t know it, it would untie the rope.¡± If Liu Xunzi was smarter, she should know that Qiao Wei was helping her to save her face. But she didn¡¯t understand Qiao Wei¡¯s effort, and sarcastically said, ¡°Whose dog will still untie the rope? You said it was stolen by me! Just check it if you want to see it! But I can warn you thatst time your pet hurt my son, and I haven¡¯t settled with you yet! If you wronged me again this time ¡ just pack your things up and get out of our Vige! Think about it, do you have to search? ¡° Different from the grievances in private, this time it is to openly question Liu Cuihua in front of the vigers and outsiders. After all, Liu Cuihua is a rtive of the vige head. If Xiaobai is found out, it ''s fine. If not, life in the vige is not going to be easy. Right now, even Auntie Luo and Lao Xiu think that Xiao Qiao should not continue to take risks. ¡°What if I find it?¡± Qiao Wei¡¯s response was unexpected to everyone. ¡°What do you mean?¡± Qiao Wei said unhurriedly: ¡°Literally, dare you let me search?¡± Liu Xunzi said wildly: ¡°If You can¡¯t find it?¡± Qiao Wei said positively: ¡°I can¡¯t find my pet, I¡¯ll just leave the vige.¡± Aunt Luo changed her face: ¡°Xiao Qiao!¡± Qiao Wei stared straight at Liu Xunzi: ¡°Anyway, you haven¡¯t known me much. So why are you taking this opportunity to drive me out of the rhino vige? Is Xiaobai really in your sack, So you are guilty? ¡° Everyone gazed at Liu Xunzi! Liu Xunzi was so chaotic, he pretended to calm down and said, ¡°Who is guilty? I just can¡¯t get you , a foreigner ndering me!¡± Qiao Wei calmly said, ¡°If I can¡¯t find anything, I¡¯ll let you call me a nder.¡± Liu Xunzi froze: ¡°You ¡¡± Lao Xiu said, ¡°Okay, don¡¯t bother about it. My old man is the master, open a sack!¡± Liu Xunzi¡¯s heart froze: ¡°Xiucai! Do you doubt me?¡± Lao Xiu solemnly said: ¡°Nonsense, I told you to open a sack! I saw that she was not pleasing to the eye, She put no one in her eyes, so arrogant. I want to show her there is nothing in the sack so that she could get lost!¡± Everyone felt that Lao Xiucai was very justified, and they persuaded Liu Xunzi to open the sacks and give a lesson to the unknown foreigners. That bitterness in Liu Xunzi ''s heart, I really want to p them Now that the old man had spoken, Qiao Wei had nothing to worry about. He pulled a sack from the table, opened the rope, and poured out a small ferret tied with rope. Chapter 23 The whole yard is silent. The people who waited for seeing Qiao Wei fool herself were shocked. Just now she vowed that she had not stolen anything, and threatened to expel Qiao Wei who ndered to kick out of the vige. And the truth is in front of their eyes and felt she is more and more shameless. ¡°Hey, Liu Cuihua, Do you still say we ndered you?¡± Aunt Luo asked dissatisfied, ¡°Anyone can see clearly! This is the little dog of Jingyun and Wangshu! Howe it¡¯s with you if you didn¡¯t steal it? ¡° Everyone nodded, No one can find another cute looking dog like this one. Qiao Wei no longer needs to exin anything as everyone can see clearly. She doesn¡¯t need to do anything either. Everyone giving their cold re to Liu Cuihua for deceiving them. From this point alone she can¡¯t live in this vige respectfully anymore. She reached out to untie the rope on Xiaobai. Xiaobai is still very young. So, even though it is clever, it iszy and slower than a turtle. Needless to say, When it started to eat, it won¡¯t have any awareness of surrounding. so it must be caught by Liu Xunzi while it was eating. Liu Xunzi reached out to stop Qiao Wei: ¡°What are you doing? Just because it looks like your dog, how can you say it¡¯s yours? I caught it while hunting! Can¡¯t you see it¡¯s not wearing any cloth? doesn¡¯t your dog wear cloth? It¡¯s mine¡± Qiao Wei smirked: ¡°Where and when did Xunzi catch it? ¡° ¡°I ¡ I caught it this morning! It¡¯s in my backyard! Old Liu, don¡¯t you?¡± Liu Zunzi pulled her husband in it. Old Liu was red in anger, but he was afraid and y along with his wife. Liu Xunzi proudly looked up: ¡°you heard it! It¡¯s mine!¡± Qiao Wei smiled lightly and inquired again: ¡°Are you sure you caught it this morning?¡± ¡°Of course!¡± Liu Xunzi stood straight and answer confidently. Qiao Wei smiled: ¡°That¡¯s good.¡± Liu Xunziughed in her heart but it froze when she saw Qiao Wei undying the dog¡¯s rope, ¡°What are you doing?¡± Qiao Wei pulled out the dagger and cut the rope on Xiao Bai¡¯s body indifferent to Liu Xunzi. Xiao Bai was free. Little ferret shed toward Liu Xunzi, wanting to tear away the kidnapper! Qiao Wei said, ¡°Little white,e back!¡± Little White paused for a moment and came back to Qiao Wei¡¯s arms obediently. ¡°Do you remember where she threw your clothes? Go and get them back.¡± Qiao Wei was doing this not to prove anything. She was just distressed with the money she spent on the cloth and didn¡¯t want to buy another set. Little White walked around the wall of the backyard and took out his pink cotton jacket. After seeing this, Liu Xunzi waspletely speechless. The most terrible thing is not that she is exposed to steeling but was exposed to fooling the whole vige. The vige chief¡¯s face became very ugly because of embarrassment and anger. Liu Cuihua usually loves to make trouble. Seeing that she is his cousins, he behaved indifferently, but this time, she went overboard. It¡¯s too much! In front of the next viger, his vige head¡¯s face was thrown into the ancestor¡¯s grave! ¡°Quick apologize to Xiao Qiao!¡± He sipped. Liu Xunzi froze, and she was about to cry: ¡°Third brother ¡ why are you favoring an outsider too? I¡¯m your sister.¡± The vige chief said angrily: ¡°Only now you know you¡¯re my sister! Why don¡¯t you think you¡¯re my sister when you steal something? Do you want your brother to lose face along with you? What if I was a vige head? Won¡¯t everyone say that I can''t even manage my own sister, how will I manage such a big vige? Do you still don¡¯t want to admit you are wrong? Okay, I understand. I won¡¯t give you thend on the eastern side of the vige. This is your punishment. I ''m no longer your brother. Now apologize to Xiao Qiao! ¡° He turned to look at Qiao Wei. ¡°You can take thatnd¡± ¡°What?¡± Liu Xunzi felt like stuck by thunder. ¡°Third brother, you said you will give it to me! You can¡¯t take it back. Third brother!¡± The vige chief nced at the old Liu impatiently: ¡°Take care of your wife!¡± Old Liu dragged his wife away in a hurry. Everyone could hear Liu Xunzi screaming like a pig until they went far and disappear out of their site. After both mother and father left, and Tiu Nie became very gloomy. He didn¡¯t understand he just wanted a dog, howe ite this far. Cuiyun Niang handled the awkward situation, and asked everyone to sit down: ¡°Please sit down? Please have a few more dishes!¡± Qiao Wei nced at the vige head who was still a little angry and said politely, ¡°Vige chief, thank you for presiding justice and not discriminating me for being a foreigner. I already have twonds in the mountains. So I don¡¯t need thend you promised. ¡° The head of the vige promised thend out anger and regretted itter. Of course, even if Qiao Wei epted thend, he could still get back them in various ways. But when Qiao Wei offered to give him back, he felt embarrassed instead. He found that Qiao Wei was an interesting person. She is not too greedy even when given suchnd. ¡°The ce on your mountain is not good, you don¡¯t have enough sunshine, and you can¡¯t grow good crops.¡± The vige chief thought for a while, ¡°East vigend is also not very good for cultivation, so you don¡¯t need to pay rent. you can have it ¡° This time he really wanted to give thend to Qiao Wei. Qiao Wei¡¯s original intention toe to the dinner was to help Auntie Luo. She did not expect to gain a piece ofnd. Even barrennd is better than nond. Of course, this is all thanks to Liu Xunzi. Liu Xunzi didn''t gain anything from her trap but she let Qiao Wei benefit from it. If she knows she will vomit blood over and over again. After Qiao Wei thanked the vige chief, she found the Lao Xoucai in the temporary tent and thanked him too. She could see that Lao Xiucai¡¯s dislike of her because of the incident with Liu Xunzi. Lao Xiucai didn¡¯t talk anything, just to listen to her thanks. He looked at the door and made sure that no one was there. He looked at Qiao Wei with excitement: ¡°You ¡ What¡¯s your father¡¯s name?¡± ¡°My father?¡± Qiao Wei looked at the Lao Xiucai strangely. Why did he suddenly ask this? She hesitated, and said truthfully, ¡°I have no father.¡± ¡°Where¡¯s your mother?¡± Lao Xiucai asked. Qiao Wei paused: ¡°I don¡¯t have a mother, I¡¯m an orphan.¡± When the master and wife died, the youngdy was only five years old, and it was not wrong to say that she was an orphan. Lao Xiucai was even more excited: ¡°How old are you when your father and mother died?¡± Why did he asking this many questions? Qiao Wei shook her head and said, ¡°I don¡¯t know. I was abandoned when I was born. I grew up alone.¡± No, thedy was obviously born to Qiao¡¯s parents. Could it be that he had mistaken? No! how could Xiao Qiao look a lot like his madam, and happened to be about the same age as the youngdy, and also happened to be named Qiao? No, it is impossible, one or two coincidence is Ok, but so many coincidences stacked together is really won¡¯t be a coincidence! Since thedy is unwilling to acknowledge her identity, he can¡¯t force her for the time being. Everyone became tired after enjoying the whole day. Mother Luo remembered that Qiao Wei wanted to ask the private tutor and called her brother Cuiyun: ¡°Your sister Qiao asked you a few things, what is the minimum age requirement to join private tuition? How much a year? ¡° Brother Cuiyun said, ¡°It should be seven years old, two hundred taels per month.¡± ¡°Two hundred taels per month?¡± Aunt Luo was stunned, her husband was working in the county, and his monthly money was not two hundred! No wonder the Zhao family was still poor ever with the earning of four men, and they were still poor. They all spend their all earning in this child¡¯s studies. Qiao Wei also thinks that two hundred is very expensive. Her two children should have four hundred a month and nearly five thousand a year. For her, who just started a business, it is an astronomical figure. ¡°I heard that there is another private tuition in town,¡± she said. Brother Cuiyun interrupted her: ¡°That house is even more expensive, it¡¯s three hundred taels a month!¡± ¡°Three hundred ¡¡± Qiao Wei was dumbstruck. ¡°Do you want a private tutor for the baby? I will teach them free!¡± Lao Xiucai¡¯s head appeared outside the window, scaring Qiao Wei!

Chapter 24 Lao Xiucai¡¯s self-rmendation as a teacher for children is something that Qiao Wei had never thought of. One was that she and Lao Xiu did not make it clear; the other was that Lao Xiucai was a lonely person. Can¡¯t he find a few children willing to study? Of course, what surprised Qiao Wei most was the phrase ¡°I don¡¯t want money.¡± Where is this good thing in the world? Qiao Wei nced at the old show vigntly, wouldn¡¯t it be that he wanted to plot against his children? Looking at Qiao Wei¡¯s expression, Lao Xiu knew that the other party had misunderstood himself. He couldn¡¯t help crying orughing but didn¡¯t know how to exin it. At that moment, Ergou ''s mother came with caution: ¡°Sir, you just told her that you do n''t charge for school. Is it true?¡± Old Xiucai: ¡°¡¡± I am talking about Miss Dolls And did not say your baby! Ergouzi ''s mother said, "If you do n''t collect money, I will also send Ergouzi and his brother to you." Ergouzi is ten years old and his brother is seven. She had a loud voice and hesitated that everyone in the vige had gathered around, and then everyone knew that the old gentleman had to teach for free. The old Xiu was even more cried andughed. He didn¡¯t want to teach these bear children at all. If he wanted to, he would have done it so long that he has to wait until now? At that time, the master had a life-saving favor for him. He could not repay the master, but he just wanted to take care of thedy more. How can this group of people misinterpret his meaning? ¡°Little Qiao ¡¡± He looked at Qiao Wei. Qiao Wei interrupted his words: ¡°Mr. has some good intentions, shouldn¡¯t have quit, but I still don¡¯t want to trouble Mr., I will take them to a private house.¡± Lao Xiu was anxious: ¡°Private house does not ept female dolls! It is Jingyun, They are too young to be privately asked. ¡° Brother Cuiyun nodded, again and again, they only epted male disciples who had reached the age of seven. In this way, Qiao Wei was in trouble again. But she really wanted to study for her children. Not only did she find it inconvenient to take children to do business, but also her deep-rooted thoughts. The old Xiucai said, ¡°You feel free to give me the baby.¡± ¡°Then ¡¡± Qiao Wei nced at everyone, ¡°Are you all going?¡± ¡°Go!¡± The crowd nodded in unison. Old Xiucai: ¡°¡¡± Isn¡¯t anyone asking me if I can¡¯t ept it? Qiao Wei hesitated, and said, ¡°That way, if everyone goes, I¡¯ll let Jing Yun and Wang Shu also go.¡± The opposite meaning is that everyone won¡¯t go and your baby won¡¯t go? The old Xiu just wanted to cry without tears and felt that she was going to die by her owndy. The old Xiucai finally epted Qiao Wei¡¯s decision (Wei) and decided (threatening), and epted a dozen students in one breath. This is just the news we have got so far. We will be on the right track and the number will increase. At this time, Qiao Wei did not know that she had made an unintentional decision. In the near future, Rhino Vige will be the first vige to be literate in this era. The vige head soon got the news. He quickly sent someone to Lao Xiu to send 20 pounds of rice and 10 pounds of cured bacon. It is great for the old gentleman to not collect money. He, as the vige head, must reward this behavior. Well! Everyone also mentioned something to Lao Xiucai one after another. Qiao Wei gave Lao Xiucai the pheasant hunted yesterday. The old talents who are surrounded by family members instantly became the richest person in this winter! After finishing school, Qiao Wei took the children to see the plot in the east vige. The area is very huge, and it is nearly ten acres visually. The reason why it is always empty is that ording to Auntie Luo, it is bad feng shui, haunted in summer, what kind of death do you nt? Liu Xunzi had no choice at home, owed debts, and the creditors were so tight that he had to ask the vige chief to ask for thend, and he hoped to nt a little harvest next year to supplement his family. Xiao Qiao took a look at the soil, but it was dark and covered with thick snow, and he couldn¡¯t see anything. Zuo, however, was still far from spring, not in a hurry. Qiao Wei and the children returned to the mountain. It¡¯s toote today, Qiao Wei didn¡¯t go into the woods to watch the prey. She washed directly with the children and fell asleep. Except for the little ferret being robbed, the children enjoyed themselves all day long, talking non-stop along the way, and when they got to bed, they fell asleep in less than a second. The little ferret crawled to the head of the bed, with a small tail around Qiao Wei¡¯s neck, like a small fur cor. The wind was cold outside, and a family of four was as warm as spring. The next day, there was still heavy snow. In fact, this weather was not suitable for going out, but considering his own business, Qiao Wei still hired a daddy¡¯s carriage and went to town. Before leaving, she sent Jing Yun and Wang Shu to the old talented family. Aunt Luo was going to follow her, but she declined it politely. What she is doing today may be a bit violent, and she doesn¡¯t want to scare the godmother. When Qiao Wei arrived in town, the first thing she did was to find the ¡°ck man behind the scenes¡± who hired three bulliesst time. She wanted to do business for a long time, so she had to eliminate the threat once, lest she go away today and tomorrow Coming to that makes it seem like she can be bullied by anyone. It¡¯s not difficult to find out the true murderer. She is doing business in Daxing Street. The offending is naturally the merchants of Daxing Street. However, to her surprise, she walked the entire street and found nothing. A suspicious person, not even the big sister-inw who had upied her boothst time. ¡°Girl! Girl!¡± The owner of the tea house ran over. ¡°Are you looking for Daikin and his mother-in-w ?¡± Qiao Wei looked at him puzzledly. She had set up a stall at the door of his tea house for two days and knew he was a tea house. Boss, surname. Boss Rong said: ¡°They have been captured by the county grandfather!¡± It turned out that the three bullies offered to buy the murderer without any torture. The county grandfather caught the murderer overnight in the yamen. Release it. Everyone didn¡¯t know what was going on. I don¡¯t know why the Daikins didn¡¯te to the stall. Boss Rong was well informed and found out that the incident was rted to the family of four selling dim sum. ¡°The county magistrate is a good official.¡± Qiao Wei said sincerely. ¡°Girl, don¡¯t be happy too soon.¡± Boss Rong said earnestly: ¡°The girl doesn¡¯t know, Daikin has a backstage, and the backstage is older than the county grandpa. Don¡¯t look at him being arrested today. It will take a few days, Baozhun Let it go. When hees out, girl, you will not have a good life. ¡° ¡± I¡¯m not afraid. ¡°She is now alone, who wants to bully her, despite letting go. Mr. Rong stared: ¡°You can¡¯t say girls like that, they are earth snakes, and you are overwhelmed. You can¡¯t help it. Girls are businessmen and naturally don¡¯t want to waste energy on these things.¡± Qiao Wei soon passed, big She didn¡¯t know if Jin had the backstage, but the boss Rong had something to say: ¡°Why boss Rong might as well speak straight, don¡¯t frighten me with Da Jin, I¡¯m not scared.¡± Boss Rong was serious: ¡°Dai Jin¡¯s business I didn¡¯t fool you. He was from Jingli in the backstage. We dare not mess with him here, except me. ¡° ¡°Oh?¡± Qiao Wei is housed bossugh, ¡°Why did you shall stir him?¡± Yung Boss boldly said: ¡°!! Because I have the background and I¡¯m backstage thing harder than him,¡± Qiao Weiugh can not own, so It ''s the first time she has met the cheap and cute boss, and she is not disgusted by the routine: "Then boss Rong said to me what they want from me again?" Boss Rong coughed twice: " Do n''t say it hurts your feelings so much. I '' m looking at a girl ''s house, there are old and young, it ''s not easy to support the family, and I want to take care of you. " Qiao Wei looked at him with a smile. He was embarrassed, as if his curve waspletely exposed in front of the little girl: ¡°Okay, okay, I just want you to put the snacks here for me to sell! The money sold, five or five split! you sell three outside a penny, I¡¯m here selling for ten a penny! even if you divide into five, two more than before the text, you say is not worth the draw! ¡± ¡° March. ¡± ¡° forty-six. ¡± ¡° three Seven, if not, I¡¯ll go to another house. You have a good way. I believe there should be many restaurants in town that want to sell my dim sum. ¡° Qiao Wei said and turned and left. Boss Rong was anxious: ¡° Ah, hey ! I¡¯m thirty-seven! I¡¯m three-seven! You girl is going to squeeze me out!¡± Qiao Wei turned around and smiled: ¡°The deal.¡± ¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¨C Will Edit after two weeks. Chapter 25 Qiao Wei felt that her luck was really good. As soon as she went out, she encountered a cheerful person like Boss Rong, which not only solved her stall problem, but also raised her ie. She didn¡¯t care if she could stop the ground snake, as long as she had money to make it. Rongji Tea House originally wanted to pay Qiao Wei by monthly invoicing, but Qiao Wei didn¡¯t have much spare money, and she still had to buy so many New Year¡¯s items, and she had to pay a month¡¯s worth of ingredients. It was really difficult. After discussing with Mr. Rong, it will be settled on the first day of the month, and sold today, tomorrow. Qiao Wei remembered that the girl in Ember House had ordered forty snacks, and waited until she came and handed things to her before leaving. The year is approaching, and things at home also need to be added. Qiao Wei decides to go around the bazaar. I bought two sets of cotton trousers for the children before and found that they were not enough to wear. The mountain was cold and I washed my clothes. I could n''t get through in seven or eight days. I had to buy two more. ¡°Girl, the new cotton used by my sister-inw in this store is light and warm, and the price is cheap. You can get two more.¡± The boss said with a smile. Qiao Wei bought the clothes in this cloth shopst time. When she went back, she opened the mule and checked the cotton wool. It was really good cotton, but it was not cheap to say it was cheap. At least as far as she knows, the price here is a few dozen dors more expensive than the cloth next door. ¡°You are more expensive than others.¡± Qiao Wei said. The owner said, ¡°That ''s my family ''s good thing! Girl, just look at this fabric, and my cotton and workmanship. I ca n''t find a second one in town. If the girl wants a better one, she must go to Beijing. ¡° Beijing, for so long, I still don¡¯t know what Beijing looks like. Qiao Wei¡¯s eyes shed a longing, then smiled slightly: ¡°You give me a little cheaper, I¡¯ll get four sets.¡± The proprietress hesitated for a while: ¡°Let¡¯s go, it¡¯s not easy to see your two children at home, so go for nothing, a total of one or two coins .¡± Qiao Wei pointed to the opposite shelf: ¡°Send me two more shoes.¡± The boss¡¯s eyes ncing: ¡°Oh! Two pairs of shoes? Girl, are you here to rob? How expensive are these shoes! If you really want to buy them, I will send you two pairs of insoles.¡± Qiao Wei stroked her chin: ¡± I can make the insoles myself, so you give me a pair of shoes, and I buy them. ¡° ¡± Ah, you ¡ ¡°The boss has never seen anyone so bargaining, obviously a special Peugeot girl, with a skinny face She¡¯s thick. Qiao Wei eyebrow: ¡°Well do not you serve me to sell another home?.¡± Madame skimming off the face:. ¡°Then you go,¡± I do not believe you really willing to go! She couldn¡¯t y psychological tactics, but Qiao Wei didn¡¯t lift her eyelids. She immediately lowered her things and walked away. At that speed, she didn¡¯t have the step and look back like a poisonous snake and beast. The bossdy was dumbfounded, and hurried to drag someone back outside: ¡°Oh, ancestor, my little ancestor, sell, sell, sell to you!¡± Qiao Wei, cotton pants, four sets each, one set of cyan , A set of tender green, two sets of positive red; cotton vests are ochre, not pick, do nothing but wear inside, any color is OK. Qiao Wei looked at the boss who was packing and said, ¡°There are insoles, you just said to send me two pairs.¡± Boss: ¡°Did you not say that you would do the insoles yourself?¡± Qiao Wei smiled: ¡± But if you give me away in vain, I don¡¯t want to. ¡° I, I, I don¡¯t seem to say so ¡ The boss put the insole in pain, and Qiao Wei happily carried her baggage away. The children loved themb fan soup, and Qiao Wei cut another ten pounds of freshmb. I also bought some bacon. Due to the expensive salt in ancient times, the price of bacon was too high. She bought ten pounds and she almost went bankrupt. Carrying his bag and carrying two heavy baskets, Qiao Wei left the bazaar and was going to hire a carriage to return to the vige. When passing by a jewelry store, I couldn¡¯t help but nce inward. Beauty is a woman¡¯s nature. For so long since ancient times, she didn¡¯t even have a decent piece of jewelry. She put on a headscarf all day long, which really cost her long hair. Qiao Wei hesitated again and again, and finally walked into the shop. The boss was a bit snobbish. When he saw a vige aunt, he was not entertained. But the guy greeted with a smile: ¡°Does the girl want to buy jewelry? What kind of one? Should I wear it on my head or on my hand?¡± This guy is more polite than the boss. Qiao Wei strolled around the counter, pointing at a yellow jade plum blossom and chanting: ¡°How much is this?¡± The guyughed: ¡°The girl has good eyesight. This is the treasure of our town shop. Master Mei made the dumplings by herself. Only This one, one hundred and two. ¡° One, two hundred? !! A broken bitch can sell such a high price! Qiao Wei was stunned. The man looked at her and knew that she probably could not afford it, and did notugh at her. She said patiently, ¡°If a girl wants to be cheaper, she can buy jade.¡± The so-called jade is actually stone, but it looks like jade, not jade. With Qiao Wei¡¯s current economic ability, this can only be afforded. Qiao Wei picked a jade orchid, because it was thest one and sold it to her cheaply. Qiao Wei put on her new sister-inw, walked out of the shop with satisfaction, and walked towards the car. As she passed by an alley, she faintly felt that someone was catching up. She nced up, tightened the basket in her hand, elerated her pace, and walked towards the main street with many people. I didn¡¯t know that she was fast, and the people behind her quickly followed. She simply ran, but before she ran out of the alley, she was blocked by a few shing men. There are wolves in front and tigers in the back. A total of dozens of people, all flexing their muscles, have fierce eyes, which is by no meansparable to the three bullies that are virtual. She can cope with one or two, and five or six are not a problem, but there are nearly twenty people in each other, and the number is a bitrge. Qiao Wei forced herself to calm down, looking at the man with a scar on his left face, and said, ¡°The young girl has just arrived, and I don¡¯t know how to offend a few grandfathers.¡± Scar Man said: ¡°You did not offend us, you offend us Big brother. ¡° Qiao Wei obliquely said to him:¡± Your big brother is ¡ ¡° ¡± Wu Dajin ! ¡° Oh, that behind-the-scenes man who got her into jail, she is really wrong, she does n''t even look like Wu Dajin know! Qiao Wei smiled angrily: ¡°I said that you would say something good, okay? It was your big brother who bought me first and bullied me. Don¡¯t I want to do anything, let people bully in vain?¡± The Scar Man yelled: ¡°My big brother If you want to bully you, you can only bully! Those who know you, walk around the building with our brother, and wait for some brothers, and the brothers will go around you. ¡°Oh ! Waiting for your pigs, you might as well hit yourself! Qiao Wei nced down and smiled sweetly: ¡°It¡¯s not impossible for me to serve you, but who wille first? Are you?¡± Then, Qiao Wei took off the mule above her head, and the three thousand green silk fell down like a waterfall. Down, soft and bright, all the men were dumbfounded. Qiao Wei slowly walked towards Scar Man, smiling, and suddenly a stab in the past! Scar Man couldn¡¯t avoid it, was pierced into the shoulder and made a scream. The crowd was busy helping him, Qiao Wei took the opportunity to throw away the basket and rushed out of the alley. The group caught up. Many people in the street saw the excitement, but none dared to step forward to help Qiao Wei make a siege. Qiao Wei desperately ran Rongji Chalou, her feet were fast, but the group of people took a short approach and blocked her. She ran her legs back, and a horse-drawn carriage passed by, and she jumped up without a word! The driver was startled! Qiao Wei got into thepartment. There was a man in thepartment, a man, wearing a blue bucket hat, a white crescent robe, soft texture, faint pearly. Although the man was sitting quietly, the aura was very powerful. Rao Qiao Wei rushed in so recklessly, but she did not see the slightest panic from the other side, calm as an emperor. Qiao Wei looked at him up and down, and the more familiar he became, it was only a while that he couldn¡¯t remember where he had seen it. The carriage stopped. Qiao Wei froze, wouldn¡¯t she just drive her down? !!
Will edit the post after a weak. Chapter 26 The group of people chased up and surrounded the carriage. The carriage did not look a little eye-catching from the outside, so they didn¡¯t look at the people in the car at all. The head of the scar man scolded: ¡°Inside Listen well, hand over that bitch! Otherwise, do n''t me your grandpa! "The driver was angry:" What are you doing? How did you talk to my son? Call my son grandpa! I see you I¡¯m impatient! "The driver heard the ent of Jingcheng. People in the town were still a little bit jealous of Jingcheng people, but it didn¡¯t include the situation now. As the first general of Zhu Dajin, he was stabbed by a little girl and passed it on. He couldugh off the big teeth of his brothers! Today, he has to find it back in any case. Whoever dares to protect that woman, whoever can¡¯t live with their brothers! Scar Man¡¯s eyes were as red as the blood on his shoulders: ¡°Grandpa asked you against time, pay or not?¡± Qiao Wei was inconvenient to stay here. She meant to hop on the carriage, hoping to borrow it. Escaping here is by no means trying to drag the other side into the water. She bowed, hit the curtain, and was about to go out. The man next to her suddenly said, ¡°If you have the ability, you can take it by yourself.¡± When Scar Man heard this, he knew that the other party was provoking. His anger reached the apex, he pulled out his dagger and rushed towards the carriage. The brethren saw that he had attacked, and swarmed up, moring, crashing, and screaming of pedestrians, staggered, and the whole street was instantly chaotic. However, it was unexpected to all of them that before they even encountered the carriage, they were shaken by a strange force, a ck figure, like a ghost, at an incredible speed. Noor fell to the ground, and could no longer climb. Qiao Wei kept the man behind, grabbed a stool, and was ready for ¡°tenacious resistance¡±, but suddenly heard arge scream, she freed up a hand, opened the curtain, and saw The men who ¡°hunted¡± her were all lying on the ground. Who did this? Is n''t it great? Qiao Wei looked at the boy who knocked them down. The boy turned around and exposed the clear face. Qiao Wei Tongren shrank: ¡°Seventeen?¡± If that person is seventeen, then the man in the carriage ¨C Qiao Wei suddenly turned away! No wonder she felt familiar and unrecognizable. When he saw himst time, he was driving in an ox cart and dressed like a viger. This time, he changed to a low-key and luxurious silk shirt, but the only thing remained unchanged. The thing is that he is still wearing a bucket. At first nce, he knew that he couldn¡¯t be a real mountain viger, so now he saw him like this, and was not surprised. What really surprised Qiao Wei was that he met him again, and he was still in himself. Extremely embarrassing. Qiao Wei was a little hesitant, scratched the small earlobe, and said softly, ¡°Thank you son, for helping me again.¡± The man didn¡¯t speak. Qiao Wei has said: ¡°I know my son was not to help them clean up, but dissatisfied with their son disrespect, no matter how can I benefit, or to be more Xie Gongzi.¡± Yanba, bowed. The man nodded slightly, a rare response. Qiao Wei jumped out of the carriage, and the people around looked back awkwardly, as if Qiao Wei was also a viper and beast, don¡¯t me them for being so scared. The scene that just happened was too scary. They lived in the town till now I haven¡¯t seen any child who can knock down a dozen big guys in one move. This girl is clearly a group with that child, don¡¯t be a master. ¡°Seventeen.¡± Qiao Wei greeted with a smile. Seventeen saw Qiao Wei, and for a moment hesitated, but unexpectedly she would meet her here. Qiao Wei smiled, walked in front of the Scar Man, crouched down, and sneered and said, ¡°Dare you find my stubble?¡± ¡°You ¡¡± Scar Man grinned his teeth, ¡°Don¡¯t be too proud, Wait for Big Jin toe out and see how he packs you! ¡± ¡± Oh, so many of you can¡¯t win ¡ ¡°Qiao Wei nced at Qixi not far away and whispered:¡± My brother, do you think Zhu Dajin won? ¡° Scar Man remembered the skill of seventeen, and shuddered,¡± He is your younger brother? ¡° This woman is obviously a vige woman, how could there be such a powerful younger brother? Qiao Wei knew he didn¡¯t believe it, and said, ¡°Of course he is not my dear brother, but I have a little friendship with his master, so you understand?¡± ¡°Master?¡± Scar Man wondered. Qiao Wei changed her face and said, ¡°Well, just the person in the carriage, otherwise why do you think I want to get on this carriage? If it is a stranger¡¯s car, do I dare to get in? I will be driven off if I get in ? ¡°The Scar Man thought for a moment, it seemed to be such a reason, looking at Qiao Wei¡¯s eyes could not help but gave birth to a hint of fear, the young man was so powerful, his master, must havee a long way. However, they are not vegetarian. He whispered: ¡°So what? Do you know who is behind Da Jinge? The big man in Beijing, speak it out and scare you!¡± Qiao Wei¡¯s eyelids didn¡¯t blink: ¡°Then do you know who is sitting in the carriage? I can scare you out if I say it! The emperor has jeopardized him by three points all over the world, The name is so big that I dare not call it. I said that, you should understand? ¡° Even the emperor is afraid of three-pointers, isn¡¯t it ¡ Is that the youngest and most promising prime minister in the world, contemting? The Scar Man showed great fear. Qiao Wei knew that Scar Man had used his iparable (stupid) hard (stupid) IQ brain to make up a suitable character to take the seat, smirked, and raised his eyebrows: ¡°Guess who it is? Trouble me? " Scar Man thought for a while:" No, why would an adult take such a shabby carriage? " Qiao Wei took it for granted:" Naturally, I do n''t want people to recognize my identity. " Scar Man looked to seventeen: ¡°What¡¯s his name?¡± Qiao Wei truthfully said: ¡°Seventeen.¡± There are seven masters under Master Cultivation. One of them is called seventeen. Rumors that seventeen-year-old defeated the champion of the time, and eleven He sneaked into the enemy camp alone and rescued the hostage nine princesses. At the age of twelve, he carried the tumor Heifengzhai in the southwest, and then left the capital with the meditator for one year. Could this boy be seventeen? Scar Male Fox doubted: ¡°Adults have been missing for a year, how did you climb up with adults?¡± Missing? This is a good editor! Qiao Wei thought of the hermit who always buys prey in her cage, and this material is good! Mysteriously said: ¡°The grown-ups are not missing, they live in secluded mountains. The forest where the adults live happens to be on my hill. Every day, I go hunting in the mountains. The adults often buy prey from my hands. I¡¯ll get to know you. But then, you better not go out and say that the adult doesn¡¯t want to let people know his whereabouts this year. ¡° When Scar Man heard this, he couldn¡¯t believe it: ¡°You can rest assured that I will not reveal the whereabouts of the adult, nor will I tell Dajin brother. Over there ¡¡± Qiao Wei indifferently said: ¡°The adult is very Angry. ¡° Scar Man panicked:¡± I beg the girl to plead for the little ones, girl! Living Buddha! Please! ¡° Qiao Wei held out her hand. Scar Man stunned : ¡°Why?¡± Qiao Wei said: ¡°Silver! How can I let the adults breathe without silver? I have to treat the adults deliciously and deliciously, and I will eat and drink for you before I can do it for you Plead! ¡° Scar Man hurriedly took out the silver from his body, and let others pay the money, leaving nothing left. Qiao Wei looked at Baihuahua¡¯s silver, and drool almost came out. Just to escape, she lost nearly one or two items of silver, but the search from these people was thirty-two! Earn ¡ turned over!
Will edit them after a weak Chapter 27 The viins rushed to the ground, and Qiao Wei took the heavy silver to the carriage. Seventeen stood in front of the carriage and saw Qiao Weiing, her eyes rolling around her, and after a while, she looked left and right behind her, as if looking for something. ¡°What happened seventeen?¡± Qiao Wei asked dumbly. Seventeen frowned and kept looking beside her. Qiao Wei thought about it and asked tentatively, ¡°Are you looking for the child you rescued that day, my daughter, Wang Shu?¡± Seventeen nodded. Qiao Wei smiled slightly: ¡°Do you still remember her? She went to school today and didn¡¯t follow me.¡± Seventeen frowned in disappointment, but for a moment, took out a little green thing from her arms and handed it To Qiao Wei. Qiao Wei took a look. It was a grasshopper made of bamboo leaves, which was very delicate, and said, ¡°Is it for Wang Shu?¡± Seventeen nodded again, his eyes were a little bright. I can¡¯t tell. Seventeen fights so fiercely, but she is so gentle when she is gentle. She likes all those who are good to her children. Qiao Wei patted Seventeen¡¯s shoulder happily: ¡°I thank you for Wang Shu.¡± Hey? Have muscles. Qiao Wei pinched, pinched, and pinched again. The driver on the sidepletely looked dumbfounded. Do you know how many people¡¯s hands have been chopped by Seventeen, even the princess dare not eat such seventeen tofu? Have you eaten enough? !! It feels so good and looks so cute, I really want to turn back and be a little brother. However, they helped themselves so much, and it was a bit unkind to have this kind of thought again. Qiao Wei reluctantly withdrew her hand, looked at the seventeen, and looked at the man in the carriage. ¡°My son, it is almost noon. If not, I would invite the two to the restaurant for a meal! ¡°The man Yun Danfeng said lightly :¡± We are in a hurry to return to Beijing, the girl does not have to spend money. ¡± The money bag was handed in the window: ¡°Then you take it down. I brought the silver from them. You can buy some wine to drink.¡± In the final analysis, it is thanks to the 17 cool handsome man The bully stunned them for a meal, otherwise, she would blow her mouth blindly, and no one would believe it. I wanted to ask the other party to eat some and keep some of it, but since the other party was in a hurry to rush, they would all give the other party a good deal. The man nced at the purse lightly, but didn¡¯t collect it, Qiao Wei held it like that, his arms were sour. The man¡¯s gaze fell on the jade urn in her hair. ¡°Will you pick jewelry?¡± A quarter of an hourter, Qiao Wei walked into Dafangzhai, the only jewelry shop on Daxing Street. The boss sat at the counter fooling around with the abacus and raised his eyes. When he saw that it was the pretty vige aunt who had juste here, he bought only fifty fake jade dumplings and left. ¡°My son, please.¡± Qiao Wei led the man in after crossing the threshold. The boss read countless people. When he saw the man¡¯s clothing, he knew that he was a noble guest. He exuded an elegant and noble temperament, but unfortunately he could not see clearly. The boss put down the abacus and greeted him with a smile: ¡°Excuse me, what jewelry do you want to buy?¡± Qiao Wei gave him a scornful nce. If it wasn¡¯t for the young man¡¯s sake, he wouldn¡¯t be toozy to introduce a business to such a low-profile boss: ¡°The one who just sold me a mule, call him, You are old, why should you go, huh? ¡°The boss twitched, and Pi smiled at him with a smile. My buddy is very happy to see repeat customers. I¡¯m also d that I didn¡¯t look down on people like the boss. This is not the case, although the girl didn¡¯t buy any precious jewelry herself, she introduced a big master! The man took out the topaz plum blossoms that Qiao Wei first saw: ¡°Is the girl here to buy this? I know the girl likes it, and specially reserved it for the girl.¡± The man looked at Qiao Wei and Qiao Wei hurriedly waved his hand. Laughed: ¡°It wasn¡¯t for me, it was for the grandmother of the son. The color of this cormorant was too thin, and the old man didn¡¯t look expensive enough.¡± ¡°The girl said yes.¡± The man cleverly put the plum blossom back, ¡°That Please go to the second floor with my son and girl. ¡° There is actually a second floor! The second floor is not as big as the first floor, but each set of jewelry is more expensive than the high-end on the first floor. Of course, the price is several times that of the first floor. No wonder no one took her to the second floor. The thing here is that she does n''t eat it. Can¡¯t afford to drink. Thanks to the son¡¯s blessing, she also opened her eyes. ¡°The son, the olddy is like gold, or like Jade?¡± ¡°Can.¡± ¡°That little olddy like publicity, or subtle point?¡± ¡°All right.¡± Said equals nothing. Qiao Wei can onlye in ordance with her own aesthetic. She chose a set of gold-encrusted hairpins, a total of five, all based on Hetian white jade. The flowers and butterflies engraved with golden silk are clearly on the top. The flowers are meticulous to the visible veins, the butterflies are lifelike, and the slender body is also made of pure gold. Coincidentally, this kind of gold is matte, and it is calm, restrained, simple, and atmospheric, and it will not give people the feeling of an upstart. The man asked the man to wrap the bitch. Qiao Wei said: ¡°Wait, how much is this?¡± Buddyughed: ¡°Eighty-two.¡± Qiao Wei was stunned: ¡°Why, what? Eighty-two? Why don¡¯t you grab it?¡± The man was kind: ¡°Girl You do n''t know, this set of dumplings is an antique from the former dynasty. The original set was twelve, but we only found five in our shop, and it was sold cheaply. The price of the whole set went up to five thousand. ¡° Qiao Wei gave him a suspicious look. Although I was very impressed with you, it does not mean that you can kill me: ¡°Do you still sell antiques? Who are you?¡± The man smiled: ¡°Girl, I really haven¡¯t covered you, this It¡¯s an antique bitch. If you don¡¯t believe it, get an appreciation of antiques. If it¡¯s fake, ten times the silver will be returned to you. ¡° Qiao Wei hummed:¡± That eighty two is too expensive, five hundred! ¡° Manughed helplessly Road: ¡°Girl, this price, you can¡¯t get the goods.¡± Qiao Wei frowned: ¡°I also do business, I know the curved roads inside, you don¡¯t lose four hundred and two, I see You have such a big shop, you have to pay someone to hire someone, so you earn a hundred more. . The ¡° man dumbfounding:¡± girl, five hundred and twenty really can not, you really want to, seven hundred fifty-two it. ¡± ¡° Five hundred and fifty. ¡± ¡° You are old customers, so, seven hundred sincerity price. ¡° Qiao Wei¡¯s expression didn¡¯t change at all: ¡°Five hundred and fifty, I don¡¯t buy one more point! I didn¡¯t have to go to you to buy it, and I will return to Beijing immediately. There are many shops in Jingli, but I am afraid to pick Not a few suitable pieces of jewelry? " Buddy could n''t, he asked the boss downstairs, and Qiao Wei returned to her:" Girl, our boss said, six hundred and two is the lowest price, only to make a friend with you, no, he did n''t The way. ¡° Qiao Wei came to the man and whispered:¡± Son, can you tell whether it is a real antique or a fake antique? ¡°The man looked down at the arms that the two identally stuck together, his eyes lightened slightly. Meal: ¡°Well, really.¡± Really antique? That¡¯s a good price. Qiao Wei took a big loss: ¡°Forget it, this is it.¡± The man led the two to checkout. When passing the counter, the man pointed at the topaz plum blossom: ¡°This is also wrapped.¡±
Will edit after a weak Chapter 28 Aftering out of Dafangzhai, Qiao Wei sent the man to the carriage and saw seventeen hundred bored sitting on the car board in a daze. Qiao Wei thought of it and went to buy a bunch of sugar gourds across from him. Seventeen took the sugar gourd, took a sip of water, and bit it stupidly. That eating photopares with what little ferrets have. Qiao Wei couldn¡¯t helpughing, watching the carriage leave, and she was ready to go back until the carriage disappeared at the end of the road. As soon as she turned around, she saw the dark shadow in front of her, and after seeing the appearance of the person, she subconsciously pinched her wallet. A ttering smile suddenly appeared on the scary male evil god¡¯s evil face: ¡°Girl, lord ¡ has he lost his breath?¡± Damn, I asked ¡°adult¡± that I hadn¡¯t lost my breath. I thought you were back to God, knowing that I lied to you Come to me for revenge. Qiao Wei breathed a sigh of relief, wiped the cold sweat from her forehead without a trace, and coughed softly: ¡°Where is it so easy? Did you eat without seeing him?¡± This guy must be following her, His actions with the man could not hide his eyes. Scar Man touched his neck distressedly: ¡°What should I do? I gave you all the silver, did you let the adults lose your breath ? You returned the silver to me.¡± Qiao Wei¡¯s eyes were ring, so easy to pinch Thirty-two, how can you return it like this? Will kill her! ¡°Ah, heh!¡± Qiao Wei avoided his hand over and dragged her purse, looked at him proudly, ¡°I don¡¯t want me to plead for you, do you? Believe it or not, when the Lord returns to Beijing, the first thing is Send someone to kill you to vent your indignation? ¡° Scar Man looked pale! Qiao Wei hit the railroad while it was hot: ¡°My adult just wanted Seventeen to kill you. It was me, so to speak, I barely reassured the adult. It¡¯s almost New Year¡¯s Day, and it¡¯s not good to see blood, but after the New Year, if the adult thinks Get up, a guy who didn¡¯t know how to live or die once called him grandfather in the court, you said he would get angry ¡ ¡°In the following words, Qiao Wei didn¡¯t speak, raised her eyebrows and wiped her neck. . Scar Man frightened his knees and leaned against the wall: ¡°What to do? What to do ¡¡± Qiao Wei smirked and said earnestly: ¡°As the saying goes, take people¡¯s money and eliminate it for others Disaster, for your sincere regrets, I will go to Beijing after the New Year and settle the matter for you! ¡° Scar Man looked at her up and down:¡± You you you ¡ can you really settle down? ¡° Qiao Wei pointed torge-vegetarian:¡± Do not believe you go ask them, I say put it in front of children in the end the words in adults. ¡° scar Male really into the store to ask. ¡°The jewellery was picked by that girl.¡± ¡°The price was also cut by that girl.¡± ¡°He also bought the girl¡¯s favorite bitch.¡± ¡°What¡¯s the rtionship between them? Bacheng is an outside room ¡¡± Outside room? That girl is raised by an adult in a private room? !! If it was really the outside room, all the suspiciousness of the adults would be clear. This year, adults are not really missing, but they are happy with this aunt! I heard that the adult originally had a fiancee, and the object was the money of Embe House. It must be that the adult did not want to be discovered by Embe House. From this point of view, the adult really loves this vige aunt! They have just eaten the bear heart leopard gall, and actually broke ground on Tai Sui! Fortunately, Madam doesn¡¯t care! The Scar Man was afraid for a while, and he patted his chest suddenly. He said positively, ¡°Mrs. I have offended a lot before. I am sorry for my wife! My name is Chen Dadao! From now on, I will mingle with my wife! I am ten Brother #, all sent by his wife! ¡°The attitude changed too quickly, like a tornado, Qiao Wei looked at Chen Dadao like a ghost:¡± I have no money to support you ¡ ¡° Chen Dadao busy: ¡°How can our wife support us? It should be our dedication to the husband, right!¡± The future wife, no, Mrs. Side, that¡¯s a big face! When she goes out, she can persuade her uncle to kill them! Of course, there is anotheryer of consideration for Chen Dadao-they are so muddy, they have no chance to show their fists in life. If they can climb into the outer room of the prime minister, and return to the prime minister¡¯s house to be a nursing home in the future, that is also Guangzong Yaozu! Qiao Wei¡¯s eyes flickered slightly. Is this guy misunderstanding something? They started calling her wife: ¡°Don¡¯t get me wrong, I¡¯m not the kind of rtionship you want from adults.¡± ¡°I understand, I understand, I understand!¡± Chen Dadao smiled badly and gave Qiao Wei an undescribable Look. I also bought twenty salty eggs that were as expensive as gold. When we returned to Rhino Vige, it was already afternoon. She first went to Aunt Luo¡¯s house. Aunt Luo helped her screw the left basket and the right basket into the house: ¡°How did you do that? Is it bad business toe back sote?¡± Qiao Wei was afraid to tell Aunt Luo to her ¡°legendary experience¡±, lest Aunt Luo was scared, she only said that she had cooperated with Rongji Tea House: ¡°¡ I talked with Boss Rong for one morning, it was almost noon when I came out, and I bought something in the bazaar. It was toote. ¡° Luo aunt is not suspected him, nodded happily and said:¡± you kids, but added a bit of good fortune, yes, the group of punks did not find you in trouble, right? ¡° Qiaowei without blinking an eye:¡± no The county grandfather arrested people, and no one dared to cause trouble. ¡° Aunt Luo reassured :¡± That¡¯s good, that¡¯s good. ¡± Qiao Wei passed two baskets of vegetables to Aunt Luo, each basket containing ten pounds Bacon, ten pounds ofmb, five salted eggs: ¡°A basket is yours, and a basket is from big brother and sister-inw.¡± Aunt Luo looked at all the dishes that were too expensive to buy, especially the salted eggs. never bought: ¡°where did youe so much money selling tiger money, not spend it over??¡± the DPRK The price is not low, the four walls of a room filled, the money spent 7788. As for the twelve earned from the treatment, Qiao Wei stunned, it was life-saving money, and he would not move unless he had to. Qiao Wei said: ¡°It¡¯s not over, there¡¯s a little left.¡± Auntie Luo asked: ¡°Then you buy everything? What to do when you buy itter?¡± Qiao Wei smiled slightly: ¡°I earn more now than before You can rest assured. Besides, I¡¯m really gone, don¡¯t you still have me? Ji Mingxiu gently called the grandmother. Mrs. Ji snorted: ¡°Don¡¯t call me! I¡¯m not your grandmother! I don¡¯t have a grandson like you! Just walk away and stay home for a whole year! Where is your grandmother in your heart?¡± Ji Mingxiu slightly With his eyes lowered, he said, ¡°It worries my grandmother. It ''s the meditation, isn¡¯t it? The grandmother gave meditation a meal, relieved her?¡± Mrs. Ji turned her head and red at him: ¡°Don¡¯t you dare me? ¡° Jiming Xiu slowly stood up, holding the ruler in both hands, bypassing the Fang Ji, and sat down on the side of Mrs. Ji:¡± Grandma. ¡° ¡± You ¡ ¡°Mrs. Ji looked at the long and cold The ruler is too speechless. Can you find someone to write a letter?¡± Ji Mingxiu stopped talking, and naturally he has no reason to not enlighten at home. There is also the difficulty of unbelief. Mrs. Ji knows his temperament and doesn¡¯t like to make her affairs known everywhere. This kind of escaping is not once or twice. He leaves the capital once every once in a while. No one can find him, but only one or two in the past. The month went back, but this time went a whole year, why not worry her? ¡°Come here!¡± She eximed. Ji Mingxiu moved a few steps in front of her, and she raised her hand and took care of his cket: ¡°It¡¯s not allowed to do this again, you know?¡± Ji Mingxiu nodded slightly: ¡°I see.¡± The olddy¡¯s face looked better some. Ji Mingxiu took out an exquisite mahogany box from the wide sleeves and handed it to Mrs. Ji. Mrs. Ji opened it. It was actually a set of gold iid jade hairpins with butterfly love flowers, three butterfly puppets, two Qionghua ô¢, bright color, but not vulgar, has a luxurious and restrained temperament. ¡°Is this ¡ antique, right?¡± The olddy asked in surprise. Ji Mingxiu nodded: ¡°It was the twelve owls of the butterfly love flower made by the former King Sejong for Ming Concubine.¡± The olddy¡¯s eyes began to glow green: ¡°The twelve owls have been lost for a long time, and the long princess only got two. Where did you find five? ¡° Ji Mingxiu¡¯s lips raised a light arc:¡± Rhino Town. ¡°The olddy said,¡± I¡¯m afraid the shopkeeper doesn¡¯t know that this is the twelve concubines of Ming Fei, right? Know for sure. It¡¯s sold to you. ¡° Dafangzhai really didn¡¯t know that this was the twelve concubines of Ming Fei. I only heard that it was a set of antiques. There should have been twelve, but I didn¡¯t know it was such an expensive antique. At that time, the man was stolen, and he was anxious to let it go. He sold it to Da Fangzhai at a low price. Da Fangzhai thought it was worthless. He only called 820, but Qiao Wei gave it back. It also became 650. Although Ji Mingxiu didn¡¯t know the source of the sister-inw, he could probably guess that the road was not right, and the shop didn¡¯t know the goods before selling it to the bargain. To know the two in the hands of the princess, it took 3,000 yuan to buy . The woman was worried that the counteroffer was not enough, and quietly asked him if it was an antique. Ji Mingxiu suddenlyughed. The olddy was trying on her sister-inw . As soon as she saw her grandsonughing in the bronze mirror, she thought she was dazzled¡ªfor many years, since her daughter-inw had an ident, the grandson has never smiled again. She was trying to ask meditation. What were youughing at? There was a yell from the door: ¡°Olddy, master, Miss Qiao.¡± Ji Mingxiu¡¯s smile faded. The olddy¡¯s eyes brightened, and she said with joy, ¡°Is Xier here? Tell her toe in!¡± Qiao Yuxi, apanied by the girl-inw, draped the curtain in. She was wearing a pink tulle skirt and a short white rabbit hair. The cket is sped with pink crystals and shines with the pink peach beads on the bun. It is delicate and exquisite. She was slender, graceful, smiling and moving. She walked up to the olddy without squinting, and performed a standard blessing: ¡°Olddy is auspicious.¡± The voice sounded natural. Later, he turned to Ji Mingxiu and said shyly and sweetly, ¡°Master Jin¡¯an.¡± Ji Mingxiu nodded lightly in return. The olddy was very satisfied. She pulled Qiao Yuxi¡¯s hand and said, ¡°I¡¯m so sad, I¡¯m bothering you to apany me, this lonely wife! The meditation is here in the afternoon, and I am thinking about making it When do I see you, it ''s a coincidence that you are here! The olddy opened the dim sum box. Qiao Yuxi made the dim sum bought from the town wrapped in bamboo leaves. She didn¡¯t think it was good enough at the back, so she customized a special box, which was exquisite and luxurious. The price was just a box. , Can buy hundreds of snacks. ¡°Yo, this little crab made it so funny.¡± The olddy picked up one and tasted it. ¡°You see how filial filial piety is in Xier, and every day people will buy me food in such a faraway town!¡± Ji Mingxiu didn¡¯t move. Qiao Yuxi said: ¡°Sir, this crab yellow crisp tastes very good, it is fragrant and soft, salty and sweet, you will like it.¡± ¡°Don¡¯t eat sweets,¡± the olddy exined. ¡°So, Xier remembered it.¡± Qiao Yuxi was slightly disappointed. Seeing that it was gettingte, Qiao Yuxi got up and said goodbye. Outside the house, I do n''t know when it was snowing with goose feathers. The olddy lowered the curtain and said to Ji Mingxiu: ¡°It¡¯s snowy, I¡¯m not assured, you escort Miss Qiao back to your house.¡± ¡ Snowkes are falling down one after another, reflecting the lights of thousands of families. Everyone closed the doors and windows, and the streets were a little calm. The carriages and horseshoes rolled on the bluestone bs without any problems. Qiao Yuxi was sitting in the warm car with two soupdies on her legs and a warm hand in her hand. She freed up a in white hand, opened the curtain, and looked at Jun immediately. The emperor was a distinguished and indifferent man, and said softly: ¡°Sir, the snow outside is big, you can sit in the car.¡± ¡°No.¡± Ji Ming¡¯s face was expressionless. ¡°Then ¡¡± Qiao Yuxi hesitated, and said to the driver, ¡°Stop.¡± The driver stopped the carriage by the road. Qiao Yuxi stepped out of the car and looked up at Jun¡¯s humane: ¡°My lord, please bother you toe down.¡± Ji Mingxiu paused, turned over, and the silver cloak was blown out by the wind with a flowing arc, unique to his masculinity. Chao Qiao Yuxi shrouded. Qiao Yuxi¡¯s heartbeat was missed, and he blushed, took off his white sable fur cor, and gently wrapped it around his neck.

Qiao Yuxi raised his eyes and looked at him: ¡°Master ¡¡± ¡°I¡¯m not cold.¡± Ji Mingxiu said lightly and turned over. Qiao Yuxi was rejected, a little embarrassing, but if you think about it, it seems that you are not doing right, and you should not give a personal thing to a man, even if the other person is his fiance. She Xiujiong touched the hot face and whispered:. ¡°Brook child childhood growing up in the mountains, do not understand the rules of the secr, if ill ce, but also hope adults will forgive me,¡± Ji Ming Xiu faint nod : ¡°Anyway, Miss Qiao, please get in the car.¡± ¡°Okay.¡± Qiao Yuxi nodded nicely and stepped on the wooden bench. Although the grown-up is not particrly enthusiastic about her, she wille to Japan and treat them as a pro and be the most honourable person in the world. The grown-up will definitely find her good. ¡¡ Winter days are short and nights long. When Qiao Wei went to the old Xiucai to pick up the children, it was already a bit dark, and the ss had already ended. Several older children who needed to help the family returned home one after another. He is still with his younger brother, and teases Xiaobai with Jingyun Wangshu. Seeing Qiao Wei, Jingyun and Wangshu hurried over. The second dog called ¡°Qiao Qiao¡± affectionately. He felt that the title was not right. Jing Yunniang looked younger than his sister. But if he doesn¡¯t yell, he will be the next generation to Jingyun. Qiao Wei greeted Ergou with a smile, and distributed the sweets from the town to the five little ones, and everyone ate happily. Qiao Wangshu didn¡¯t eat. She was holding a cantaloupe, her eyes were red, and she asked Qiao Wei to hold it. I haven¡¯t seen my mother for a day, and she¡¯s so sad. When Qiao Wei sent her children to school, she never thought that they would be sad. She was an orphan in her previous life and went to a welfare kindergarten. There was a group of children like her. Everyone was very excited to go to school the day before. No one was sad. In addition, when she sent Jing Yun and Wang Shu to the old show, the two children looked very happy, and she didn¡¯t even think about it. Qiao Wangshu was really happy at the beginning. There were a lot of friends, but after ying for a while, she missed her mother, but the husband said she couldn¡¯t go home, she was sad. Yes, Qiao Wangshu spent his first day at school in a cry. Everyone was in the front row, and she was crying in the corner of the back row. The old showman used all the martial arts in the eighteenth, and he couldn¡¯t cope with it, crying so sad. It was Jing Yun who was with her in the corner, and she barely took the day down. At noon was a meal from Mrs. Luo and was fed by Jing Yun. In order to take care of his sister, Jing Yun failed to attend the ss. Qiao Wei learned from the Ergouzi¡¯s mouth that the incident had passed, and was distressed: ¡°It¡¯s not good to be a mother. Mother shouldn¡¯t go that long. Mother wille to pick you up tomorrow, huh?¡± Qiao Wangshu hugged her mother. Tears were drawn from her neck, and she nodded after listening to her mother¡¯s words. However, it was probably injured during the day, and Qiao Wangshu refused toe down from his mother¡¯s arms. He had to hold him everywhere, and Qiao Wei felt softened. Qiao Wei brought a bit of white paper to the old show, not that kind of high-quality rice paper, or ordinary rough paper, and the writing would be a bit hairy, but for a poor showman in a vige, it is already a rare treasure. Lao Xiu was very grateful, and vowed to be more loyal to Miss! The heavy snow fell down one after another. Qiao Wei quickly took the children back to the mountain and lit a copper stove in the house. It was burned dry wood. The smoke was a little smokey. The three were smoked with tears. Fortunately, It finally ignited. Qiao Wei took the cotton cloth and wiped the snow on the head and body of the children. Qiao Wangshu nced at the new sister-inw on his mother¡¯s head, and said with bright eyes, ¡°Wow, it¡¯s so beautiful!¡± It was exaggerated, and Qiao Wei was so beautiful that she shaved her daughter¡¯s little nose: ¡°Mother also gave Wang Shu and his brother bought beautiful things. ¡° Qiao Wangshu pped his hands excitedly:¡± What is it? ¡± Qiao Jingyun dripped his eyes and looked at the basket and bag on the table. Qiao Wei took out the contents of the basket one by one, mutton, bacon, pork belly, salted eggs and some fresh vegetables and New Year¡¯s snacks. The eyes of the two children were straight, they were so big, they had never seen so many delicious foods, fried fruits, fried peanuts, melon seeds, snow jujube, crisp candy ¡ Oh my god, and persimmon! Qiao Wei looked at the children¡¯s stunned look, and Meng¡¯s heart was about to disappear: ¡°My mother does not have much money now, I can only buy these for you. When my mother makes a lot of money in the future, I will take you to Beijing to buy more More delicious food! ¡°The two children nodded excitedly! Qiao Wei wiped the hands of the children: ¡°what you want to eat, take it yourself.¡± Qiao Wangshu took a persimmon, biting it bit by bit, for fear that he would finish the meal. Qiao Jingyun grabbed a handful of fried fruit. Qiao Wei took out new clothes from her bag again. In the past, children could not wear a new one all year round, but this time they each had four sets, which couldn¡¯t be more happy. ¡°Well, ma¡¯am, what is this?¡± Qiao Wangshu took out a delicate mahogany box from the bag. ¡°Let me see.¡± Qiao Wei took a look in her hand. This is Dafangzhai¡¯s box. She remembers the rose emblem on it, but she hasn¡¯t bought anything other than the bitch on her head. Qiao Wei opened a look, and found that the topless plum blossoms with a value of two hundred was lying inside. Wasn¡¯t this bitch bought by that boy? How could it be in her bag? ¡°Mother, it¡¯s more beautiful than the bitch on your head.¡± Qiao Wangshuo. Qiao Wei sighed: ¡°Of course, there are only 50 copper tes on the mother¡¯s head. It requires a hundred or two silver.¡± Qiao Wangshu has no concept of money, but only thinks it looks good: ¡°Mother, you wear it ¡° Qiao Wei wants to wear it too, but ¡ it¡¯s not her own. Qiao Wei put away the sister-inw. For such an expensive thing, the son must have identally fallen into her bag. Anyway, it was her own life-saving benefactor, she did not dare to swallow his stuff. I¡¯ll meet him someday and give it back, I don¡¯t know if there will be another day. In the evening, Qiao Wei simmered a pot ofmb fan soup, fried a te of carrot braised meat, a bowl of Chinese cabbage, steamed a few ravioli, and the three of them were full of beasts. After washing, Qiao Wei and the children were lying on the bed, Qiao Wei was sleeping outside, her daughter and son were sleeping, Jing Yun slept honestly, covered a quilt alone, what it was like when he was asleep, what kind of thing he woke up, No, this girl¡¯s sleeping appearance can be described as terrible. ¡°Do you know you are not allowed to kick the quilt tonight?¡± Qiao Wei covered her daughter with a quilt. ¡°I know.¡± Qiao Wangshu said obediently. Qiao Wangshu smiled softly: ¡°Did you understand the homework taught today?¡± ¡°Understand.¡± Qiao Wangshu said sweetly. Qiao Wei was happy: ¡°Don¡¯t you keep crying? You actually understand it? So what do you say, sir?¡± ¡°Sir ¡ sir ¡ sir ¡¡± Qiao Wangshu looked Aggressive, what did sir say? !! Qiao Jingyun sighed helplessly: ¡°At the beginning of human beings, nature is good, sex is simr, and habits are far from each other. Gong does not teach, sex is transferred, the way of teaching, expensive and specialized. Xi Meng mother, choose a neighbor, the child does not learn, breaks down. Dou Yanshan has a righteousness, teaches five sons, and is well-known. ¡° So much! Qiao Jingyun continued: ¡°The sky and the earth are yellow, the universe is flooded. The sun and the moon are overwhelming, and the Chens are listed. The winter ising, the winter is harvesting, and the autumn harvest is hiding in winter. Yu Yu is old, and Lu Lu is adjusting the sun. It ''s just for the time being.¡± For the time being ¡ So much? Doesn¡¯t the son think that the old show taught too little?
