    How could someone be so attractive?


    "Chen Feng?", Fu Jianguo called her arrogantly expecting her to fawn over him.


    But this time, things were different.


    The man was not bad looking. He was tall, handsome, clothed in a custom made suit and thus definitely belonging to a powerful family. His prideful temperament revealed that he was definitely not used to being ignored.

    Chen Feng freed her arm from his grip angrily. There were red finger marks on her pale skin.


    "Mr. Fu if loving someone means wishing for a painful and miserable death for them where maggots would eat them to bone or their flesh would burn painfully and slowly turn into ck charcoal. Then I do love you."


    Fu Jianguo was speechless.


    "Trying to cover your feelings for me by smart mouthing me?"


    "It requires me to first have any positive feelings for you"


    "Don¡¯t try to y with me", Fu Jianguo was getting frustrated, "If not for you having feelings for me, why would you rush to rescue my sister despite it being clear that you once plotted to kill her?", he said as if it was a matter of fact.

    Fu Jianguo expected her to bloom with joy and thank him repeatedly for him telling her that he would forget the past. After all, he remembered how she had begged him for forgiveness for days when she was caught red-handed.


    But all he earned was a cold look from her.


    It was his way of thanking her for saving Fu Liling?


    Previously Chen Feng had wanted to rectify his assumption of her having feelings for him by giving him a piece of her mind.     He couldn¡¯t resist his urge and reluctantly followed her.

    She scurried through the crowd trying to get away from that bastard as fast as her feet could have taken her. Tears gathered in her eyes but she quickly wiped them away.

    She stopped abruptly.


    "I was here just to pay the gratitude for saving my sister¡¯s life. That¡¯s all. Why are you being so difficult? Though I know your intentions behind it were purely to earn a ce in my heart once again, I still acknowledge your debt"


    She so badly wanted to teach a good lesson to that person.


    "I didn¡¯t do it to earn any spot in your heart. I did that because Fu Liling is my best friend!", she said in a deadly cold voice. She took a deep breath. Under the moonlight, her features were greatly amplified. Her skin looked even more white and wless. And those big brown orbs held the reflection of the round moon in them that could charm anyone¡¯s heart.

A puzzled and disturbed look unfolded on Fu Jianguo¡¯s face as he stared at the girl in front of her eyes that seemed so familiar and yet unfamiliar to him. He felt a strange feeling when Chen Feng dered that she had moved on.


    Wasn¡¯t she the one who couldn¡¯t bring herself to stop from expatiating her never-ending love for him? How could she suddenly say that she didn¡¯t have feelings for him anymore? He didn¡¯t love her anymore so why did he felt bad to listen to that?


    No, she must be lying!


    Fu Jianguo gritted his teeth.


    "Chen Feng you¡¯re refusing to admit your feelings for me won¡¯t make me feel something good for you"

So Li Yuhan considered it his obligation to make fun of it.

    Li Yuhan chuckled. He was leisurely sitting on thefy couches with his legs folded on the table and enjoying the misery of his brother while his brother was fretting over the uing business deal.

    With her cold fingers, Chen Feng opened the pages and started reading its contract. She realized that Mr. Li was not joking. He came well prepared for what he wanted from her that indicated that he was serious about that marriage thing. She took her time reading the terms with utmost heed and vignt of every minute detail. Li Luxian waited patiently for her to finish. His wife was not naive at all.


    "The contract stated I¡¯m obliged to stay in a marriage with you for a time period of a year. After the time if any of the participants want to back out from the marriage, then we have the liberty to get it?", Chen Feng wanted to confirm.


    "Yes.", Li Luxian said coldly. He didn¡¯t quite like the idea of backing out.

    "My father, he has sent his men to keep an eye on me", Li Luxian whispered. With his every word, his hot breath hit Chen Feng¡¯s neck and made her shudder.


    Up to this close to Chen Feng, her sweet intoxicating sweet strawberry scent wafting to his nostrils and made him smile uncontrobly.


    "Your father?", Chen Feng whispered after steadying her heart a bit and getting out of her stupor. Her face was a burning red as she avoided the curious nces of onlookers.

Her chocte brown hair was tied in an intricate hairstyle with a few strands hanging loosely in front of her ears. Her jade-like face was wless resembling that of a pretty porcin doll. Her features were distinct and the people¡¯s eyes couldn¡¯t elude that bewitching lure in her temperament.


    She was sitting in the VIP table that retained a little privacy but she could still hear the faint noises caused by Lin Min at some distance.


    "Waiter! Come here right now!", Lin Min shouted arrogantly.


    "Yes, miss?", a waiter responded to her call in a professional, reverent tone.


    "I want to see the assistant manager right now!", Lin Min replied in a bad-tempered voice. That poor waiter almost jumped at the malice her tone held.


    "Miss. is there any problem?", that waiter asked in a little terrified tone. If that shrewish woman had some problem with their service, his assistant manager would sure give him a hard time.


    "Since when did the standards of this restaurant fell this low that it started allowing beggars to VIP tables?", she angrily spat.


    Out of all the things, what aggravated Lin Min the most was the fact that that bitch was sitting in a VIP table. The VIP table of this restaurant cost not only a huge sum of money but a family name. She had long wanted to book it to unt her money but she couldn¡¯t. She could hardly book a normal table and that after a month long of waiting. Her jealousy peaked once finding that person Chen Feng she looked down upon enjoying that privilege. How could that bit*h Chen Feng afford it?


    Her closest spection was that Chen Feng must have seduced someone of the management staff of this restaurant. Or else how could she enter the VIP table?


    Lin Min herself could only enter this restaurant using her father¡¯s name. Without the name of a prominent respectful family, no matter how much money her sugar daddy threw at her, she couldn¡¯t enter.


    "What beggar?", that waiter asked puzzled.


    That restaurant only allowed those guests that had a prominent background. Its security was tight and it double checked the list of those who were let in.

    The waiter¡¯s eyes followed the direction of Lin Min fingers and his face paled. Wasn¡¯t it thedy that Mr. Li brought? The manager of the restaurant had himself came to receive them. How could she, of all the people, be a beggar?


    "Miss you are mistaken", that waiter politely said, "Thatdy had been invited in after being confirmed by our..."


    "What nonsense are you spouting?", Lin Min was getting impatient, "Do you want to lose your job! I say bring the assistant manager here right now!"


    That waiter realized that the matter was out of control and he couldn¡¯t reason with that crass woman. So he quickly scurried away and brought the assistant manager.


    "Is there a problem miss?", the assistant manager asked.


    "Yes there is", Lin Min said confidently expecting her request to bepleted right away after asking. She was good at exploiting her father¡¯s name. Even if her paternal family never shown any interest in her for being the illegitimate daughter, in the outside world she always acted like she was the adored and cherished eldest miss of the Lin family. "I want you to throw that low born out of this restaurant right now"


    That assistant manager paused for a moment, looked at the VIP table where he could see that bewitching woman Mr. Li had brought and he could also discern a faint smile on her tender lips.

    Lin Min was taken by surprise. Did that petty manager just reject her request?


    "Why can¡¯t you?¡¯, her voice held deep malevolence. "Don¡¯t you know who I¡¯m? My father had invested so much in this restaurant and you can¡¯t even throw a pettymoner out for me?"


    The matter was way too overboard now. Everyone was keenly listening to the fight. If now Lin Min failed to throw her out, she would lose her face. So Lin Min couldn¡¯t give up. She was desperate while on the other hand, Chen Feng¡¯s temperament was calm and impassive like the matter had nothing to do with her at all. It further maddened Lin Min.


    "Miss we are only following the manager¡¯s instructions", the assistant manager tried to palliate her outburst. He wanted to resolve the issue without offending any party.


    Blinded with anger, frustration and jealousy Lin Min blurted out.


    "It is you!", her face distorted as a great revtion dawned on her, "You have been seduced by her. Haven¡¯t you?", she said continuing to throw her tantrum, "Or else how could she reserve a VIP table?"


    A slight chuckle escaped Chen Feng¡¯s lips as she shook her head. Was there no end to Lin Min stupidity? But whatever it was, it served a great source of amus.e.m.e.nt for Chen Feng.


    "I¡¯m telling you. Throw her out of here right now or else..."


    "Or else what?", a grave voice was heard.

    It was their manager, Cheng Tian. The same manager who had received Li Luxian and Chen Feng personally. Luckily he was nearby so that Mr. Li and Ms. Chen wouldn¡¯t need to face any inconvenience.


    "Mr. Cheng", Lin Min said meekly. To be honest she hadn¡¯t wanted him to appear. This man had never given Lin Min any face before and was never threatened by her status as a member of the Lin family. She guessed that he had an idea about her poor position in Lin family so he ignored her.


    "This restaurant under my supervision Ms. Lin and you have vited the moral code and disturbed the peace of the restaurant so I will have to respectfully ask you to leave"


    Lin Min was bbergasted. Even Hua Jin who had been silently sitting on the table and quietly relishing the drama suddenly froze.


    "Are you kicking me out?", Lin Min asked. Her eyes were wide and full of disbelief.


    "No. Ms. Lin I¡¯m politely asking you to leave. But if you resist, I¡¯ll have to take severe measures to force you to leave. Then don¡¯t me me for myck of courtesy"


    Cheng Tian was a wise man. Never in a billion lifetime would he enact a sin like offending that scary man, Li Luxian. Who knew if that crazy man got angry due to his woman being bullied and took his anger by shutting down the whole restaurant?


    "You can¡¯t do this", Lin Min protested. Her breathing intensified and her limbs turned cold from embarrassment. She didn¡¯t even dare to move her head to meet the eyes of countless people in the restaurant that were eyeing her with uncovered ridicule and scoff.


    Getting kicked out of the restaurant? Would there be anything more humiliating than that? Her face was ashen. Hua Jin also didn¡¯t look good. She, alone, as amoner couldn¡¯t afford such an expensive restaurant. She had relied on Lin Min wallet to enter this ce. So she had to leave along with Lin Min.


    "Of course Ms. Lin I can do that. I¡¯ve got the authority to do that", Cheng Tian serious tone wavered Lin Min heart.


    "My father would never forgive you!"


    Cheng Tian lips curled up as he noticed her mentioning her father. Who was she fooling? He was fully aware of the fact that her father never acknowledged her. She was nothing but a p.r.o.s.t.i.t.u.t.e daughter.


    Even if her father took her side, he was just a petty investor. If Li Luxian decided to take his wrath on his restaurant then that petty investor couldn¡¯t save it.


    "Ms. Lin get out of here right now or I¡¯ll have to use the force"


    Lin Min was not willing to leave that ce on her own in any case. How could she bear to be humiliated like that?


    "Lin Min, let¡¯s leave", Hua Jin who had preserved her rationality tried to take her friend hand and leave intending to save thest shred of dignity they were left with.

    "I apologize for the inconvenience caused to all of you by the hassle. Lin¡¯s family has henceforth been cklisted from our restaurant for disturbing the moral code. The matter is now resolved. Please enjoy your evening", Cheng Tian publically addressed to the guests and left. He held the matter professionally and saved himself and his restaurant.


    Chen Feng could only sigh.


    That was the best example of pping one on his own face himself. Because from the beginning to the end, Chen Feng had to say only a few ridiculing words after which she quietened not wanting to bother with them and somehow they still managed to get themselves thrown out of the restaurant on their own without her help.

    "Where has my future husband been when his future wife was being bullied", Chen Feng said half-jokingly and pouting like a baby as they ordered their dishes.


    "Bullied?", Li Luxian asked slightly chuckling, "From my perspective, the one who got bullied was clearly those pitiful girls"


    Chen Feng smiled like an innocent white lotus.


    "You are wrongly using me. What did I even do to bully them?", she fluttered her eyshes to produce an innocent effect in her countenance, "I just sit here and enjoyed them pping themselves on their own faces. Is it that evil to appreciate a free, intriguing show?"


    "Of course you did nothing wrong", Li Luxian said, a tender smile emerging on his thin, firm lips, "And if not for them being humiliated to theirst extent, I would have personally tortured them to entertain my wife"


    Li Luxian winked at Chen Feng.


    That simple gesture looked so elegant and dazzling on him that it stole away Chen Feng¡¯s breath. If there was any other girl, she would have broken into screams that gesture looked that striking on his captivating looks.


    Chen Feng felt a fluttering sensation in her chest. She bit her lip to get a hold over her racing heart.


    What were these feelings?


    As that appetizing, mouth-watering food was delivered almost instantly due to the fast service of that five-star restaurant, Chen Feng attacked the food without any reserve. Li Luxian had been eating slowly and gracefully like a son of noble birth perfectly following the etiquettes of the table and using his knife and fork in his long, white slender fingers. His table manners were impable and refined.


    Once his eyesnded on his wife to be, his gaped at her, intrigued.

    Li Luxian was gaping at her, pausing his own meal.


    "Chen Feng I just wanted to tell you that no one is going to steal away your food"


    "Of course no one would! I won¡¯t let them!", Chen Feng said protectively securing her te.


    Li Luxian sighed and went back to elegantly cutting his steak and gracefully cing a small bite in his mouth. After having a decent amount of lunch, he simply ced the fork and knife on the table following all the nobility manners and stared at his wife who had no intention of stopping beforepletely emptying the tes.


    Why would she stop? It was not like every day when she got the opportunity to eat such sumptuous lunch in such a luxurious restaurant and that was all for free too!


    All the bills would be paid from Li Luxian¡¯s wallet.


    Her cheeks were full of food as she quickly chewed the food and swallowed it down. And Li Luxian had to admit she looked quite cute. The up and down movements of her cherry red lips that presented a bright contrast to her white skin, seemed so tempting that Li Luxian wanted to kiss her right then.


    "What are you staring at? Never seen ady eating before"


    "To tell the truth. I¡¯ve never seen ady eating before", he quietly added, "Like a pig"


    The woman his family had forced him to date never ate like that. They would only eat sd or drink water. They were overly concerned about the image they portrayed outside and overly obsessed with their figure. That prevented them from being themselves as they struggled to present graceful and refined manners.


    Chen Feng red at him.


    "I¡¯m not eating like a pig", she said with a mouth still full of stuff.


    Li Luxian coughed.


    "Yes, you are definitely eating like an idealdy", sarcasm manifested in his tune.


    "I¡¯m not one of those women who would starve themselves to retain a perfect figure to climb into men¡¯s bed. So just get used to it"


    "So you prefer food over beauty?"


    "Sure I do"


    Li Luxian stopped for a while. With little displeases expressions he asked, "If you had have to choose between food and me, who would you choose?"


    Chen Feng,"...". She stared at him.

    Chen Feng¡¯s eyes widened. This guy was dangerous. Dangerous and shameless. She was mortified and blushed involuntarily. She wanted to smack him with her purse but restrained herself considering they were still in the restaurant and assaulting the great Li Luxian like would be sphemous.


    As they ate together, talked and familiarized with each other, they came to like each other personalities. Between conversations, Li Luxian would throw flirty remarks at her that she would respond by topping it with a betterment or by simply blushing at it when she couldn¡¯te with a smart answer.


    "Thank you, Mr. Li, for the dinner", Chen Feng said sincerely as she got out of the car that was parked at the back of the building and stood silently near it. She had to admit that she had quite a fun time with Mr. Li. She was tightly grasping her purse in her hands as she smiled at him gently and proceeded to leave to her apartment without waiting for Li Luxian response.


    Li Luxian was also standing near her by the car looking refined and regal like a prince from some ancient era. Suddenly, he closed the distance between them, cing his hand at her small back he pulled her towards him. She gently ced her hands on his chest. Under her hands, she could feel his toned muscles and natural heat under the thin cloth of his shirt.


    Chen Feng heart thumped loudly as felt his intoxicating scent wafting to her nostrils and making her feel somewhat dizzy as the distance between them reduced to just centimeters. She could feel the heat emanating from his body warming her.


    Li Luxian leaned in and his soft lips almost touched her sensitive earlobes as he whispered seductively.

    "Mr. Li?¡¯, Chen Feng said quietly, confused and slightly dazed at his close proximity. Her pale puffy cheeks held a touch of red. She slightly pushed him through her hands ced over his chest but was unsessful in doing so as his hold was firm and determined not to let her go.


    "Did I not tell you that we have to act like a true couple?", Li Luxian said as he lovingly ced a hand on her cheek, "True couples do not walk away without giving a goodbye kiss"


    So it was all a part of the act they had to pull in order to diminish Mr. Li¡¯s father¡¯s suspicion?


    Understanding it, Chen Feng¡¯s confusion ceased. But still being so close to that handsome man, her heart was beating so loud that she was scared he could hear it. She was feeling jittery and wanted to get away from him as soon as possible.


    But because they were only acting, she didn¡¯t want to do something absurd by giving an exaggerated reaction to his approach and make a fool of herself in front of him.


    "Yes, Mr. Li", she quietly acquiesced and raised on her toes to reach him and ced her small, supple lips against his cheek.


    Just as she pulled back, she saw an inexplicable emotion in Li Luxian eyes that vanished as soon as it appeared as he stood still holding his breath. In a short span of time, she couldn¡¯t discern what it exactly was. As she tried to get away, he broke out of his daze and pulled her back.


    This time she was ruthlessly pushed against the car as he covered her body with his, making it impossible for her to leave.


    Chen Feng was truly taken aback this time.


    "Chen Feng, do you think we are some five years old kids?", his voice was impatient and angry.


    "What?", she asked in puzzlement. What did she do to provoke him now?


    "True lovers..", he said with a smile adorning his face that made him look somewhat irresistible, "Don¡¯t kiss on cheeks"


    It took some time for his words to sink in. And when Chen Feng finally understood, involuntary her eyes fell from his dark, prating eyes to his thin, firm pinkish lips that were curled up into a tempting smile.


    Was she supposed to kiss there?

    Chen Feng thought what should she say to make him change his mind. For a moment she considered kicking him and running away from the embarrassing situation. But he was already pinning her against the car, effectively making all ways of escaping impossible. And also if she was to just run like a chicken, wouldn¡¯t that seem too absurd?


    What impression Mr. Li would have left of her if she ran now?


    Sternly pushing that idea at the back of her mind, she said in an unwavering tone thatpletely hid her inner nervousness.


    "But there is really no one around here. So I doubt that..."

    Chen Feng felt his arms encircling around her waist and pulling her to him. The distance between them reduced to nothing and her soft chest flushed against his hard, toned chest. Li Luxian arms tightly embraced her. Chen Feng small fists tightly clutched Li Luxian coat. But she didn¡¯t know whether to push him away or pull him towards her to deepen the kiss.


    Because that kisspletely dominated her rationality and ate away her restrain. And she shamelessly wanted more of those lips.


    It was when she felt a slight movement on her sensitive lips. A warm, wet tongue slipped over her lips satisfying her want for more and making her to tightly shut her eyes in anticipation. Her face was burning red as her breathing intensified. She felt so weak in her legs and if not for his arms tightly pushing her against the car, she would have copsed.


    Through their joined bodies, Li Luxian could fell her heart thumping madly. Li Luxian tongue wandered over her soft lips and tasted her sweetness. Last two times, the kiss was only urgent and momentary. It was their first real kiss where he could slowly relish her taste. He tried to push his tongue in her mouth but she was tightly shutting her mouth resisting his advance.


    It was not that she didn¡¯t want him to deepen the kiss. She was just scared that if he was to do so, she would lose her mindpletely and behave insanely.


    Li Luxian arms around her waist tightened their grip to a noticeable extent. His hands slipped down slightly towards the danger zone and gave a small squeeze. Chen Feng¡¯s heart jolted as that foreign had threatened to invade her private area and her mouth parted slightly. Her hands were already trembling and the kiss had taken away all her energy.


    Li Luxian used the opportunity to slip his tongue in her mouth.


    At that moment Chen Feng lost thest bit of rationality she was holding on. She squeezed her legs tightly as she felt a warm feeling surging her lower abdomen.     That day Chen Feng realized one thing. Mr. Li was not joking when he said that he was interested in her. No one could kiss someone he was not interested in with such intensity.     Getting a taxi, she arrived at that small coffee shop where Chen Feng had invited her. She saw a woman with short shoulder-length, ck hair sitting at a table by the window.     "Gu Chiantao?"


    Gu Chiantao lifted up her head to look at Chen Feng and smiled amiably. Her ck, shimmering eyes held unexined warmth. Chen Feng couldn¡¯t tell whether it was genuine or deceitful and insincere.


    "Chen Feng.", she greeted her soft tone.


    After ordering for coffee, both of them chatted for a while.


    "I think that you already know why did I ask you to meet me?"


    Gu Chiantao lips curled up and her eyes sparkled.


    "I¡¯m not sure about your real purpose but I guess that today¡¯s meeting has everything to do with Fu Liling ident and Chen Mian"


    "Fu Liling told me that you said you saw Chen Mian pushing her into the pool", Chen Feng went straight to the point without beating about the bush.


    "Yes. I did say that"


    "So is it true?"


    "Why else would I say that if it was not true?",


    Chen Feng took a sip of her warm coffee. The slightly sour and warm taste filled her mouth with a soothing feeling in the bitter cold of winter as she silently decided how to choose her next words.

    Fu Liling also turned away and walked to the corner of the pool. It was when, Chen Mian suddenly stopped, looked around to see if someone was watching. Having noticed no one she scurried to Fu Liling stealthily and pushed her. Fu Liling screamed. A loud ssh was heard as Fu Liling fell into the cold water in the bitterly cold night.


    Fu Liling screams were heard as she slowly drowned. Chen Mian stood there watching Fu Liling struggling to keep her head up with an evil smirk. Not feeling a bit of sympathy in her heart she, instead,ughed at her. "Serves you better bi*ch! Die"


    Saying this she walked away. Not feeling a slightest of pity in her heart at Fu Liling heart-shattering shrieks.


    "Oh shit", Gu Chiantao¡¯s voice was heard from the video as the video abruptly stopped.


    What had happened next was Chen Feng walking out to get a breath of fresh air. She had happened to notice the noise from the pool and she had jumped to save Fu Liling. Fu Liling was unconscious. And her body temperature fell down to an rming point as she was shivering violently.


    The next moment Gu Chiantao had also appeared down from the balcony.


    When Chiantao looked up, she saw burning mes of anger in Chen Feng¡¯s eyes.

    Thinking about that, and smiling wickedly after making a new determination, he put the shampoo in her hair and slowly massaged it.
