 Prologue

    Droplets of blood fell on the floor of the dimming alley-way as the sunset slowly lowered into the darkening sky. I then thought for a moment, ¡®What is this heat I¡¯m feeling in my hands?¡¯


    Looking down, I couldn¡¯t help but stare blankly like an idiot. I saw a grisly scene in front of me, as my right hand was pierced into a young boy¡¯s stomach. Shocked by the scenery, I found myself swiftly retracting my hand in a panic.


    Looking at my hand I thought, ¡®That hand was just in that boy¡¯s stomach, It was very hot and squishy inside his stomach, It looked all red drenched with his blood. The blood was dropping and the heat was cooling down.¡¯


    ¡®the sensation, It''s still in my hand.¡¯, as I trembled in fear trying to rationalise the meanings behind what happened.


    ¡®Is this a dream? Yeah, that¡¯s the only explanation. A dream.¡¯


    I chuckled ¡®Wait when all that started, Yes! It was back then when that strange voice offered me such help out of blue.¡¯The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.


    I had made this conclusion based on the events that happened 10 minutes earlier. I found myself in this horrible scene during another strange dream-like situation.


    I was going back from school, when I decided to take shortcut, some alley down 9th st. After I climbed down the ladders I turned right, and that¡¯s when¡­


    Things abruptly stopped moving and everything turned crimson colored; time appears to halt.


    I remember my anxiety as I twirled looking around, trying to find a single clue on what was happening at the time.


    Suddenly, I heard a strange voice, ¡°Don''t worry. I merely altered your perception of time. Your brainwaves are moving faster, causing you to produce this illusion-like world. In essence, time flows faster here than in your reality.¡±


    I clutched my head, ¡°Who are you? Show yourself!¡±


    The voice said, ¡°Don¡¯t bother. I¡¯m speaking directly in your mind!¡±


    I said, ¡°What do you want?¡±


    The voice said, ¡°I''m not here to explain things, I''m only here to awaken your powers. This illusion world won''t last much longer! I now offer you a chance to awaken your powers. Do you want become stronger? Or do you want stay the weak you are as back then?¡±


    I was fascinated by the words that the strange voice uttered. His words implied that he had knowledge about the events that transpired during these past few months.


    But before I reveal my response to the offer and the motivations behind that response, I must touch on the unfortunate story about my past self when my trauma occurred.


    The truth about my circumstances....

 Awaken Power 1

    As I flashed back to the scenes listed inside my brain, I remembered a particular group of students that wouldn¡¯t stop harassing the students in my school in various ways. They were even inclined to bully a person in the same class as me that I considered a friend, a person named Hirato. Since we¡¯ve talked to each other a couple of times after the school semester started, I found myself hanging out with him every day in no time at all.


    Everything was fine though until I found him hanging out with those delinquents one day. At first, I thought they were just friends hanging out together, but later on, I found out that they were abusing him in various ways.


    To make it clear, he was a target for bullying. Since I was his friend, I wanted them to stop bullying him, so I decided to speak to the delinquents in an attempt to convince them, one way or another. I didn¡¯t think for a minute though that they wouldn¡¯t care about anything I had to say.


    I then followed them as they took Hirato to the school bathroom and began to oppress him. When I opened the bathroom door, I saw one of them using a bucket to throw water on Hirato¡¯s head.


    He then followed that with a menacing yell, ¡°Is that all you¡¯ve got?! Didn¡¯t I tell you to get everything in the paper I gave you yesterday? Huh?!¡±


    Hearing him shout, I stepped forward. When they noticed me, I stopped walking forward and questioned them, ¡°Why are you doing this to a classmate? Aren¡¯t you friends?¡±


    They then burst out laughing when they heard me, treating it as nothing but a joke. Smug, the boy who appeared to be their leader, smirked before asking, ¡°Huh, who is this sissy?¡±


    Compelled to reply, I said, ¡°The word absurd, it would fit you better!¡±


    I immediately realized what I said, but there was no way I could back out now. Enraged by what I said, he then smiled and walked over to Hirato before saying, ¡°What if I prove that you¡¯re the one at fault here? You defended this weakling, so I¡¯ll show you how wrong you are so you learn not to speak carelessly about me.¡±


    I was struck speechless by what he said.


    He then stepped out from his position behind Hirato¡¯s back with a smile on his face while approaching me one step at a time.


    While observing him, I tried to figure out what he was planning. Getting closer, he raised his hands and pushed me, hard. As a result, I fell over after losing my balance.


    While I attempted to stand up, I tried to grasp the reason behind his actions. He then looked towards his friends and commanded, ¡°Restrain him.¡±


    ¡°What are you trying to do?¡±, I said.A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.


    At this moment, two of his friends approached and gripped me from my armpits, restraining my movements completely.


    Their leader then sneered at Hirato behind him,


    ¡°I¡¯ll only forgive you on one condition, if you beat in his good-looking face.¡±


    Shocked by his words, Hirato looked down at the ground anxiously.


    As he tried to think about it, their leader said impatiently, ¡°What are you waiting for?¡±


    While I was concentrating, Hirato approached me, hesitant to follow his commands and punch me. Since he essentially had no choice, he punched me right in the face. He didn¡¯t put enough force into it, to meet the leader¡¯s satisfaction, but it did have enough sound to make a loud smack.


    Livid, the leader said, ¡°Is that everything you have? It seems that you don¡¯t actually want my forgiveness!¡±


    Hirato panicked and spoke to the leader, ¡°I¡¯m sorry, please give me another chance.¡±


    The leader said, ¡°This is your last chance, there won¡¯t be a next time.¡±


    Since Hirato was so frightened, he became aggressive and punched me in the face in response. Following his punch, I felt dizzy as I fell over and landed with my weight on the ground. Seeing the blood on my face afterwards, he shuddered and cringed. Their leader then stepped forward and squatted by my face. His lips were moving, but I couldn¡¯t hear a single thing he was saying.


    I barely heard him, ¡°Make sure you come here tomorrow with my stuff.¡±


    He then threw a piece of paper with a list of items in my face. He then walked over to Hirato and grinned. With a mean, hard look on his face, ¡°Wasn¡¯t that easy? Since we have this person to do your job for you, you¡¯re free to go as promised. Don¡¯t ever let me see your face again, you hear me?¡±


    He then ran away without looking back. Afterward, they left the place one after another while chattering what they should do next.


    After a while, I was able to regain consciousness, so I decided to report what¡¯s happened to our private tutor before going to the nurse.


    Unfortunately, that wasn¡¯t helpful at all. It even made things worse for me. Their bullying increased even further, and they started placing traps in the classroom for me. This made my school life even harder to bear. With this, I can now wrap up the situation that occurred in the past few months that led to the day when everything changed.


    That day began as any other normal school day. When school finally ended though, I decided to take a shortcut home. I anxiously passed through a dark road, and then I approached that fateful abandoned alley that had a cold atmosphere and a fishy odor.


    As I stepped into the alley, I was suddenly caught off guard by a girl¡¯s beauty. She had a slim body and was really gorgeous. She had silky violet hair that was glowing in the darkness. She also had brilliant purple eyes that portrayed innocence and an angelic face.


    I could hear her shouting stuff that I didn¡¯t understand at first. However, I then noticed a group of four young men around her. She kept trying to pass through, but they kept approaching her before one of them suddenly grabbed her hand. I was getting frustrated, so I decided to walk closer with the intention of helping her. While I was doing so, a sudden flashback made me remember what happened back then with Hirato, causing me to hesitate.


    A weakling like me with such a fragile body wouldn¡¯t be able to help her. Frustrated, I tried to think of a way I could salvage her from this situation.


    I thought about rushing towards the main street to ask for help, but then I realized it would be too late once I did so.


    Unexpectedly, our eyes met as soon as one of the young men yanked her away. For me, it felt like time suddenly stopped, which is when I met the strange voice.

 Awaken Power 2

    The voice continued what it was saying, ¡°What are you going to do? Will you accept my offer or do you want to deal with your way?¡±


    Why shouldn¡¯t I just agree? If the voice really could give me power, why would it even do such a thing? Is there some kind of price I have to pay?


    Thus, I decided to ask, ¡°If you¡¯re willing and able to grant me such power, how would you go about doing that exactly? Will there be some kind of side effect or price I have to pay?¡±


    The voice laughed and then answered, ¡°You overthink things as usual and make slow decisions. Weren¡¯t you supposed to protect that poor girl? No physical harm will come to you, but there may be some psychological complications. Although I expect that you¡¯ll be able to overcome them, and I can tell that you won¡¯t just accept staying the way you are now at any price.¡±


    I thought about what the voice said and then concluded that it¡¯s risky to accept the offer instantly without thinking deeply about it. I¡¯m not sure if I¡¯m dreaming or not and whether the offer is real, but what more could I lose right now? No, I would rather become something else entirely then stay weak and useless like I am now.


    I then anxiously declared, ¡°Hey! If you¡¯re the real deal, I¡¯ll accept your offer for whatever price you ask, so grant me enough to overcome this situation.¡±


    The voice replied shortly after, ¡°That¡¯s what I expected. Don¡¯t worry about the unexpected physical side effects you¡¯ll receive when time returns to its natural flow. They¡¯re all temporary, but you should be careful, beware of the blood. I will now free up the energy sealed inside your heart.¡±


    An intense glow of light started shining at this moment, making me close my eyes. When I opened them again, I felt dizzy. I could also hear unclear voices over the ringing in my ears. The strangest part is that everything was still crimson colored like blood.


    I then saw something dull and not crimson colored approaching me. I could also hear a few voices, but I couldn¡¯t understand what they were saying. I laid my hands on my head before looking at the ground, which caused things to gradually return to normal.


    I then started to notice a few new things that I couldn¡¯t before, one of which was that the dull person in front was one of those boys. Approaching me, he said,¡°You wuss! Didn''t I tell you to come here? Are you ignoring me now?¡±


    While furiously moving his hand and trying to place them on my shoulder, I was reminded of bad memories. I reflexively pushed him back, but I then unwillingly found that my right hand had penetrated his stomach, causing him to bleed on my hand.


    His eyes rolled up in anguish as he screamed from the pain. His voice was so high that his friends panicked, trying to figure out what had happened to him. As I pulled my hand out of his stomach, he blacked out because of the pain.


    At that moment, I was experiencing various feelings. I was shocked, then I felt a strange pleasure from seeing his anguished face!


    I then shook my head to erase such thoughts. What have I done?! Did I kill someone with my bare hands just now? Flabbergasted, I stepped back to try and figure out what happened, but no amount of common sense could explain such a thing to me.


    At the same time, his friends could hear his screams. They panicked, hoping that nothing terrible had happened to their friend. As they approached him, they found him bleeding from a wound in his stomach.


    One of them said,¡°What happened? Did that boy kill him?!¡±This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there.


    Another one checked his pulse and heard a heartbeat. He then had a relieved expression on his face as he shouted,¡°He¡¯s still alive, but we have to stop the bleeding!¡±


    Moving quickly, he took off his shirt to apply pressure to the boy''s wound, while the other two were furious as they approached me and got ready to attack.


    I should run away to prevent myself from causing anymore casualties. As I was thinking about it, I found myself strangely willing to continue the fight.


    The feeling was strong enough to urge me to approach them. As they stepped forward, I disappeared entirely in an instant, before appearing near the first boy. I found my hand stroking his armpit like a blade as I knelt in a crouching position underneath him.


    Shocked at how I was able to strike him without getting a single stain of blood on my body, I disappeared again and crouched behind him. The boy then dropped to the ground after I wounded him.


    The second boy, shocked by my disappearance at first, stopped moving and stood just there, gawking at how I kept disappearing and reappearing. He was afraid that he would end up like his friends, so he desperately ran away to try and survive.


    I had great pleasure taking him down. What a feeling!! He¡¯s now desperately trying to grasp the scene of bloodshed that was practiced on his friends.


    I decided to thrust my hand towards his thigh, making him lose balance. While screaming from the pain caused by the gash, he dropped to the ground. He then lost consciousness because he couldn¡¯t withstand the pain.


    Their last friend was surprised and wasn¡¯t able to grasp the situation at all. While desperately looking around for an escape route, he found no point in continuing to press down on his friend¡¯s injury to stop the bleeding.


    While traumatized by the scene of his friends laying down covered in blood, he fell to the ground and trembled, ¡°You aren¡¯t human! You¡¯re a monster!¡±


    With a horrified trembling voice, he said, ¡°No, I don¡¯t want to die.¡±


    He then ran away and left the alley before running to the main street and screaming for help.


    I was going to chase after him to stop the screaming, but I remembered the girl¡¯s presence.


    She was trembling with fear. With all the terror and shock she was feeling added onto that, her muscles lost the ability to respond to her brain''s commands. Unable to stand, she fell to the ground and stayed there.


    Realizing the situation, I mumbled to myself, what have I done?


    I was troubled by how she looked, and also by how things will turn out when the boy calls for help. This isn¡¯t a joke!


    I hysterically thought, what am I afraid of now that I¡¯m so powerful? It was their fault; I¡¯m the victim here. I was abused, and they¡¯re the ones that made me like this.


    I then started having selfish thoughts thinking that she¡¯ll help me. I¡¯ll make her testify to get out of this situation since she owes me a favor for saving her.


    Before I decided to get rid of the psychic state I¡¯m in, I remembered the voice¡¯s advice to stay away from blood. To try it, I decided to wipe the blood off my hand onto one of the boy''s clothes. When I walked away from the blood, I could then see and move normally.


    I was able to get important information about how the power was triggered, and how I can turn it on and off. It wasn¡¯t the right time for further investigating, so I decided to move on with my plan.


    While I approached the girl, she looked anxious, but she couldn¡¯t run. She was unable to move, so I said something to reassure her.


    ¡°Don¡¯t worry; I won¡¯t harm you as long as you do what I say.¡±


    She then sighed in relief and anticipation before I continued speaking.


    ¡°As you can see, that boy is running away, while you¡¯re still here. Otherwise, I would have fled as well. My only condition for letting you go is that you nullify the boys'' testimony against me. If you try and betray me though, I''ll kill you and anyone else you tell about me.


    I decided to play the bad guy with no grace so I could convince her to follow my command. Fortunately, she started to think more about the situation while I observed her expressions.


    Since I didn¡¯t leave her another solution, she¡¯ll surely agree to my offer. Even if she tried to betray me, she''d die. Since she knows about my ability though, she wouldn¡¯t even think about doing that.


    While she was thinking, I could tell that she was hesitating on accepting the condition.


    I continued by saying,


    ¡°Don¡¯t forget that they were trying to take you by force. Do they not deserve it?¡±


    That was enough to make her agree by hesitantly nodding her head. I could tell that she was in complete agreement though. A couple of minutes passed before the ambulance and the police officers arrived.


    While everyone was walking around and doing their jobs, the boy walked over with the police officers and started pouring accusations at me by saying that I was the sole offender.

 School Surprise

    During a bright morning on a school day, a girl walked alongside a street in deep thought while heading to school. Suddenly, another girl jumped behind her and yelled, ¡°Good morning Yuki!¡±


    She then waited patiently for the girl to respond, but she didn''t react. She repeated herself before asking, ¡°Yuki. Yuki. Can you hear me?¡± She was finally able to get her attention, as Yuki looked at her.


    She answered, ¡°Sorry Rume, is there something?¡±


    While looking at her with an astonished expression on her face, Rume replied with an inquiry, ¡°Eh? What''s going on Yuki? Is everything okay?¡±


    Yuki finally grasped her senses again, so she said, ¡°Nothing¡¯s wrong. I was just thinking about, how I did on my midterms?¡±


    Rume then stared at Yuki, with doubt of what she said. She said, ¡°What do you mean Yuki!? You''re one of the best students in our entire school!¡±


    Yuki thought, ¡®I shouldn''t talk about what happened yesterday, It¡¯s bring more harm than benefit.''


    Yuki decided to forget about it and changed the subject as they walked to the school gates.


    The bell rang, signaling the start of the school day. As time passed, their lunch break arrived. Both girls chit-chatted until reaching the cafeteria, and when they arrived, Rume spoke, ¡°Let¡¯s sit here Yuki!¡±.


    Looking around as she sat, Yuki unexpectedly saw a familiar face that startled her. She felt anxious while remembering the things that happened the day before. She then thought, ¡®What brings that boy here, does he go to my school? How come I didn¡¯t notice him before? Ah, he was wearing PE clothes back then!¡¯


    Suddenly, their eyes met and he smiled at her. When he did so, she felt shivers running down her back. Trying to comprehend the situation, she looked down timidly. At the same time, Rume was observing her and noticed who she was looking at, so she asked, ¡°Hey Yuki, do you know Aries?¡±.


    Yuki was alerted and said, ¡°Aries? Who''s that?¡±.


    Rume followed up by saying, ¡°Oh, you don¡¯t know that boy? Why were you looking at him with such an anxious face then?¡±


    Yuki thought, ¡®So that boy¡¯s name is Aries. I wonder why Rume looked so excited for some reason.¡¯


    Energized, Rume said, ¡°Is it love at first sight?¡±


    Enraged by what she said, Yuki stood up while screaming, ¡°Huh, love? You don¡¯t even...¡± Her voice was rather loud as she spoke before she stopped herself. Everyone then stared at Yuki while whispering to each other. Mortified, she fled the cafeteria.


    Once she returned to her classroom, she took her seat, ¡®What should I do now? I hope I never see him again. I need to forget about this nightmare.¡¯


    Deep in thought, she couldn¡¯t feel the presence of the girl approaching her. While looking at her, her classmate said, ¡°Yuki, someone¡¯s asking about you!¡±


    Yuki hoped it wasn¡¯t who she thought it was, but her wish was in vain


    The boy from her nightmare stood there and faced her with a smile while saying, ¡°We meet again!¡±


    She braced herself before asking, ¡°What brings you here?¡±


    He answered, ¡°What an attitude! You were trembling with fear just yesterday! It''s amazing how fast you can change!¡±


    He then glared at her, As she remembered what happened, she backed away in terror before speaking with an agitated voice, ¡°Is there something else you want from me?     Aries said, ¡°We better go other place, follow me!¡±


    The girl was then forced to follow him to the rooftop, where she entered first before he followed and locked the door behind him.


    She looked at him anxiously before saying, ¡°What''s going on? Why did you bring me here and lock the door?¡±


    The boy wanted to comfort her, so he said, ¡°We don¡¯t need someone overhearing us. Don''t worry; you have my word that I won''t harm you as long as you are obedient! ¡±


    There was silence for moment, Yuki said, ¡°What did you want to talk about with me in private then?¡±


    Aries said, ¡°Nothing much. I just wanted to make sure that you''ll never speak about what happened the day before. I''ll be observing you, and since it just so happens that we go to the same school. Let''s get along well!¡±


    Anguished, the girl said, ¡°Why can''t you believe me that I won''t tell anybody!? I''ve already planned to forget about everything that happened the other day, so please just let me be!¡±


    Aries replied, ¡°Hey, I promised you that I won¡¯t harm you as long as you are obedient and calm about it. Also since I was observing you today, I saw that you looked quite panicked and couldn''t pretend that nothing happened.¡±


    The girl seemed quite troubled, so he tried to comfort her, ¡°Don¡¯t worry, nothing will change. I will only observe you from a distance. All you have to do is to act normal, as nothing happened!¡±


    He then stopped talking for a moment as he moved towards the door and opened it, ¡°Ah, just so you know, you shouldn''t involve your friend in that case for her own safety! If I remember correctly, her name was....hmm, ah, Rume. You better not tell her anything.¡±


    Yuki thought, ¡®You don¡¯t have to tell me that.¡¯


    As he opened the door, he was suddenly confronted face-to-face with another boy that had a sharp glare directed towards him before he asked him, ¡°Where¡¯s Yuki?¡± While Yuki rushed towards the door, she bumped into the boy¡¯s before they clear the passage for her, as she fled from the roof with an annoyed expression.


    Aries tried to leave too, but the boy pushed him back inside.


    The boy said,¡°What were you trying to do to Yuki? She looked troubled!¡±


    Aries smiled and replied, ¡°Who are you, brat? Why do you care?¡± Enraged, the boy tried to punch Aries, so he disappeared from his vision.


    The boy started to panic and look around, but he couldn''t find him.


    Near the roof entrance, he heard a voice behind his back, ¡°I''ll let you go this time because I''m a little busy, but believe me, if you ever show up again in front of me, you won''t even get a chance to regret it.¡±


    Aries then left after he finished talking to the boy, horrifying him with his threats and his actions. He attempted to regain control over the situation, but he couldn¡¯t accept what he saw with his own eyes.


    As Aries walked down the hallway, he remembered what happened the day before. When the police took him to the station, he was able to dismiss the testimony of the delinquent that ran away.


    After Aries left the station, he went home and tested his new power. He first experimented on how to activate the power. Based on the information that the strange voice gave him, his power was forced to activate when he saw, smelled, or touched blood. He then began with an attempt to activate the power with his own will. When he concentrated his thoughts, he realized that his vision turned a little crimson.


    While continuing the tests, he was able to get more information about how it works. He concluded that the amount of blood that comes in contact with him, decides the amount of power that he is given, therefore his powers work like an energy pool that is fueled by blood. The more blood is in the energy pool, the more power he gains, but controlling his mental state becomes problematic, causing him to seek more blood. On the other hand if he activates his power using his own will and not blood, he is able to control them without any risk.


    The powers cause his sharpness and strength to increase significantly even when they are not activated, and these are way improved compared to a normal human being.


    While approaching his class being deep in thought, he felt something wrong. His classmates prepared a trap for him. They placed a bucket full of water on the top edge of the door. He notices that the door was opened a little bit, he opened it more and by instinct he moved rapidly back. The bucket drops to the ground.


    The delinquents stared at what he did shocked like never before, then one of them mumbled:¡°What just happened? Is that really Aries?¡± The others didn''t even have an answer.


    Aries thought, while smirking, ¡®That bucket idea was rather interesting. I''m going to do even more interesting things though!¡¯

 Revenge or lose

    Yuki returned to her classroom after fleeing from roof. She was anxious about what happened and worried over what may happen from now on.


    At the end of the school day, Yuki walked alongside with Rume, who spoke about several topics. As They reached the building¡¯s gate, four boys wearing a different uniform from theirs stood there. Yuki shivered as she noticed that their uniforms resembled one of the delinquent¡¯s on the day before. Instinctively, she hid inside the building.


    ¡°So what do you think, Yuki.¡± Rume asked, not noticing that Yuki was no longer besides her.


    When she didn¡¯t get a response, she turned to look, but there was no one there.


    After a quick pause, she turned back to look for Yuki, thinking she lost her on the way. Moments later, she saw her standing behind the front gate, sneaking peeks at the boys down the road.


    ¡°What are you doing, Yuki?¡±.


    Yuki jerked up a bit. Seeing it was just Rume, a sigh of relief passed her lips. ¡°Nothing, I just forgot something.¡±


    ¡°Then why are you hiding?¡±


    ¡°Eh? I am not hiding.¡±


    Yuki could see the doubt in her eyes. As she was about to say something else, a boy walked besides them.


    He was walking toward the main gate where the boys were standing and waiting. As he drew near, they stood in his way. She saw them talk to each other for a moment, before the boy eventually follow them, heading to the school backyard.


    ¡°Let¡¯s go, Rume!¡±

    ¡°I didn¡¯t see anything. Rume, let¡¯s go!¡± she shouted.


    Rume wondered why Yuki was acting strangely since the moment she saw Aries back then in the cafeteria. She was more eager to find out and figured she would get her answers by following them. After a thought, she said, ¡°Wait here Yuki, I will be back!¡±


    Yuki startled. ¡°No, Don¡¯t go, Rume! It¡¯s not safe.¡±


    Rume was startled. Why was Yuki so scared? Tying comfort her with smile, she said, ¡°Don¡¯t worry about me. You know how strong I am!¡±


    Yuki tried to stop Rume from going, but she didn¡¯t listen to her, and so Rume followed them to the backyard where her confidence was shattered down by what she saw there.


    While she was almost to the backyard, she moved slowly, trying to sneak a peek, she heard bumping sounds. She had the thought that Aries was being beaten up.


    When she reached the edge of the wall she looked to see all but one of the boys on the ground, hurt while that one was near to the fence. He was crawling on the ground trying to flee but what shocked her was that Aries did not seem hurt at all.


    ¡°What happened here?¡± she wondered. ¡°Did Aries alone beat all of those boys? How?¡±


    While she was panicked thinking what to do next, she found Aries taking action. He moved towards the remaining boy crawling on the ground.¡°What is he¡­?¡±


    Before her thoughts could go any further, Aries lifted him to the air with one hand, the boy screamed saying, ¡°Please, spare me. It wasn¡¯t my idea!¡±

    Aries threw the boy onto the fence and pushed hard. One could hear a crunching sound. Rume panicked. Shocked by what she saw, she fled back to Yuki and grabbed hers wrist as she ran out off the school campus.
