Scene 1:
Something whispered in her ear, drawing her to the nearest body of water. The young blonde girl stared at the fence where the pool called to her, telling her to swim with the many souls that perished under the surface tension of chlorine water. The butterfly princess ignored the cries and sorrow, tuning to the synthesizers playing from a speaker. The breeze carried her long silver gray hair and tangled with the petals and scattered leaves as she extended her dainty hand to heaven.
All she did was dance on her toes, yellow eyes watching her step subtlety. She spun on the ground and tapped the concrete gently before she took flight across the plains. She lands on one foot and she bends stretching her left arm down and slowly motioning up to the ground.
¡°And¡ Cut!¡± A Japanese girl with curly hair standing behind a camera on a tripod shouted clapping her hands together. ¡°That was a good take, Amethyst,¡± she said excitedly and walked over to hand her a bottle with pink lemonade. ¡°Very shiny!¡±
Amethyst sighed and wiped the sweat off her brow and accepted her drink. ¡°Thanks, Kaori. I hope this one will turn out better than the last one,¡± she said before drinking. ¡°Oh come on Amethyst, they love ya!¡± Kaori exclaimed and began to store the gear in a duffle bag.
¡°At least this will help you...¡± The teen blonde smiled softly before taking another swig at her colorful drink ¡°It will help us more if your mother would hook us up with the shiny stuff,¡± the Japanese teen hinted.
¡°Kaori, mother dearest does not trust me yet with expensive equipment,¡± Amethyst explained to her for the umpteen time, again. ¡°I said it could help, I am not insisting.¡± Kaori is one of her first and best friends. She is very blunt and very in with the fashion industry. They were once a married couple when they were little till they made their third friend and got divorced. ¡°Right,¡± Amethyst laughed and removed her butterfly hair piece.
¡°Well now we have to wait for the rain, the forecast tells us that it will be dry for the next couple of days,¡± Kaori checked her phone for the weather update.
¡°Or we can make our own rain machine¡¡± Amethyst suggested.
¡°Amethyst, I want my work to look genuine, you know it will look bad,¡± Kaori said. So, what do we do now?¡± the Asian teen added as she updated the social media following on their latest project.
¡°We could check the tape before we call it quits,¡± the blonde teen said.
¡°You are your mother¡¯s daughter,¡± Kaori said with a grin.
¡°It¡¯s common sense,¡± Amethyst chuckled. Kaori looked off the distance towards another home and noticed a car parking in the garage. ¡°Hey, Marie is home!¡± Kaori shouted, and both girls made a beeline to her house. ¡°Marie!¡± Amethyst exclaimed, ¡°Hey! We finished recording how about we go to the park later?¡±
¡°Sure! Let me change from my scouts uniform!¡± Marie, overall, was a sweet girl. She was a little slow, but she was also a helpless romantic.
The girls followed in Marie to her room. ¡°How was the scout meeting?¡± Kaori asked.
¡°It was pretty rough. Kimberly had to quit because she got pregnant,¡± Marie spilled the tea as Amethyst and Kaori made themselves comfortable on the bed. ¡°What??¡± Amethyst was rather shocked at the revelation, however, Kaori saw it coming considering how much Marie had told them about her promiscuity. ¡°I doubt she quit, I think they just kicked her out,¡± Marie said.
¡°Kaori, that¡¯s obvious.¡± The blonde teen glared at Kaori. ¡°Obviously they will say she quit to avoid tea and gossip.¡±
¡°It is the best way to start gossip,¡± the Asian teen said. ¡°Have you ever wondered what happens to your female classmates when they suddenly vanish?¡±
¡°They graduated¡¡± Amethyst deadpanned. ¡°Besides, why should we even meddle?¡±
¡°Says the psycho that stalks the priest¡¡± Marie chuckled as she threw on a fresh new shirt and shorts. Amethyst choked on her breath at the very comment. ¡°That is not true!!¡± she denied.
¡°Oh come on, we all would let him touch us inappropriately,¡± Kaori commented as she stuck her nose in one of Marie¡¯s teen magazines. ¡°Oh, dear, the flare jean is disgusting with flat shoes¡¡± Kaori voiced her thoughts quietly.
¡°I bet he can pull off the flare jean with that nice ass,¡± Marie fantasies as she strapped on her sneakers.
¡°That¡¯s shiny,¡± Kaori smirked. ¡°Not it is not! Amethyst said, outraged and embarrassed. ¡°How much you want to bed Amethyst dreams of getting crushed in between his--¡± Amethyst interrupted Kaori with a loud squeal and slapped her to cease her unwanted comments. Kaori and Marie just laughed at how ridiculously flushed Amethyst was at something so silly.
¡°Alright, let¡¯s go before Amethyst loses her mind,¡± Kaori said chuckling.
¡°You guys are not shiny!!¡± Amethyst shouted.
Scene 2:
The girls were running around in the neighborhood park. The one thing they loved was the swing set, and they would compete against each other for who would swing the highest and who could jump the farthest. ¡°Watch closely, mortals! Kaori will soar back to Japan!¡± the Asian shouted as she launched herself from the swing and landed five feet away.
¡°Japan is awfully closer than we thought¡¡± Marie said astonished. ¡°Why don¡¯t you beat that then!?¡± Kaori shouted angrily. Marie swing back and forth gaining momentum and once she launched herself she crashed landed on the sand face first two feet away. The sweet French descendant spat the sand and whined in pain. Kaori just laughed at her misfortune. Amethyst jumped off her chair and helped Marie onto her feet. ¡°Marie, are you okay?¡± The teen asked.
¡°I will be fine¡¡± The sweet girl scout promised and dusted herself off. ¡°Please, when you jump off the swing, kick Kaori for me¡¡± Marie added.
¡°I rather kick her where it hurts¡¡± Amethyst winked and took her seat on the swing. Kaori and Marie watched Amethyst swing back and forth gaining speed and force before flying off eight feet into the air. Expanding her arms gracefully as the wind carries her hair and frills before landing on her toes.
¡°Whoa! That was so shiny!¡± Marie squealed excitedly.
¡°Show off¡¡± Kaori spat in jealousy.
Amethyst noticed a faint glow in the bushes near a house beside the park. The house belonging to none other the beloved Father Demos. The teen decided to investigate rather than indulge in the bickering of Marie and Kaori. There were no signs of the priest but from the corner of her eye, she could see a sprite of color in the bushes. Her chest swelled with emotion and her mind raced with thoughts and possibilities but she never could think of what it could be.Enjoying the story? Show your support by reading it on the official site.
¡°Amethyst! Where did you go?¡± She heard Kaori, but she didn¡¯t answer, her throat was in knots. The orb floated around the bushes. More orbs gleamed through the bushes and headed towards her. These orbs of rainbows had slim human bodies and wings, ¡°Fairies¡¡± Amethyst said in a hush as if it were a secret.
¡°Hey! Amethyst! Where are you?¡± Kaori called again.
¡°What if she¡¯s dead?¡± Marie asked.
¡°Doubt it,¡± the Asian scoffed.
Amethyst could hear her friends call her but she couldn¡¯t move, she was mesmerized by the floating light show the fairies gave her. It was as though they didn¡¯t notice her, but one certainly did. This one had a purple and black dress made of lace. Her hair was blond and long and her eyes were black with long yellow lashes. Her fingers and feet were rather big for her size. Her wings were transparent with a dash of glitter. She looked like a hologram but upon Amethyst touching her, she felt solid and all too real. She gasped loudly and took a step back as the fairy giggled.
¡°Marie, I think I heard her.¡±
¡°I did, too.¡±
Both girls emerged from the park and into the priest¡¯s garden and they too fell in shock. ¡°W-what!? What is that?!¡± Marie shouted in disbelief. ¡°Fairies¡¡± Amethyst whispered again and held her hands for the fairy to approach her.
¡°Fairies?!¡± Marie and Kaori screamed. All but one of the fairies tried to hide, the one left was standing in Amethyst¡¯s palms. As the others hid in the bushes, the lights dispersed. ¡°Fairies can¡¯t be real!¡± Kaori shouted as she tugged at her curly thick hair.
¡°T-they always did¡¡± Amethyst was still stuck whispering.
¡°L-let''s go, Amethyst! Before something even worse shows up!¡± Marie said, looking around feeling like she will be caught in the lie and be punished. Amethyst nodded and ran with her friends back to her house.
Scene 3:
The three girls caught their breath in Amethyst¡¯s living room couch. ¡°Can we agree that we all saw fairies¡?¡± Amethyst said after a long cutting-edge silence.
¡°Whatever it was, we can safely say we all saw it¡¡± Kaori managed to say. All the girls got comfortable removing their shoes and retreated to Amethyst¡¯s room.
¡°Do we tell someone about it?¡± Marie asked.
¡°I don¡¯t know¡ I know that when I was a child, I could see them¡¡± Amethyst answered.
¡°You mean before the electroshock therapy?¡± Kaori asked.
"Y-yeah¡ Those were distasteful memories," Amethyst whispered.
¡°Now I feel guilty¡¡± Marie said softly.
¡°It¡¯s okay¡ I just¡ Am I relapsing? Father Demos told my mother that there was no point to electroshock therapy because the patients relapsed after a period¡¡± Amethyst voiced her concern
"I don¡¯t think so. I think what we saw is evidence that what you saw by the pool was actually real," Kaori reasoned.
¡°Then¡ could it mean that the people drowning in the pool were-¡± Marie attempted to say but Kaori quickly interjected, ¡°the result of an actual demon activity¡¡±
¡°Are the fairies demons, too?¡± Marie asked further.
¡°I don¡¯t know! I¡¯m no expert in the paranormal!¡± Kaori shouted.
¡°I feel lied to.¡± Amethyst said. She felt a soft touch on her cheek and something light standing on her shoulder. Both Marie and Kaori screamed.
¡°The Fairy! The Fairy will eat us!¡± Marie shouted. Amethyst noticed the fairy on her shoulder and she slapped it off. She didn¡¯t look too happy about the violent approach and got into Amethyst face, crossing her arms.
¡°It followed you!¡± Marie squealed.
¡°What do I do?!¡± Amethyst stumbled on the spot screaming in terror.
¡°I got it!¡± Kaori caged it inside a glass mason jar, sealing it shut.
¡°Would she be able to breathe in there¡?¡± Amethyst asked, watching the fairy trying to push off the lid of the jar.
¡°I¡ Do fairies even breath?¡± Marie asked.
¡°Let¡¯s punch holes on the lid to find out,¡± the teen blond said. The fairy had given up and sat on the bottom of the jar watching as Amethyst punched a few holes over the lid with a hammer and a screwdriver. ¡°There.¡±
¡°What do we do with it?¡± Marie asked.
¡°Wait¡ We found them in that Jesus-enthusiast¡¯s garden right? Does the priest even know he has fairies?¡± Kaori asked.
¡°I think we should tell him,¡± Marie answered.
¡°No! If we actually tell him we were in his garden snooping around. We¡¯ll get in trouble!¡± Amethyst explained.
¡°Then what will you do with it?¡± Kaori wondered.
Amethyst stared at the fairy pressing her hands against the glass. ¡°I will keep her¡¡±
¡°What? Why?¡± Kaori and Marie asked.
¡°I always wanted a fairy companion, and besides, I don¡¯t think she''s evil. If she followed me home that would mean she likes me. Right?¡± Amethyst asked as she looked at the fairy. The teen blond released her from the jar and the fairy rushed to her shoulder and hid behind her neck.
¡°Well I guess it¡¯s okay, what do you want to name it?¡± Marie asked.
¡°Pixie.¡± Amethyst answered holding her palm for the fairy to fly over to.
¡°Do you know that pixies and fairies are different beings?¡± Kaori said.
¡°So? It¡¯s still a name and I like it,¡± Amethyst answered.
¡°Okay then¡± Kaori was not going to argue with Amethyst over a name, she knows where that leads and she will never trek in that direction again.
¡°Miss Zetterberg!¡± The girls went silent when they heard a man calling.
¡°Who could that be¡?¡± Amethyst wondered out loud.
¡°Whoever it is, hide the fairy,¡± Kaori whispered. Amethyst nodded and placed the fairy inside the jar to make sure it wouldn¡¯t follow her.
Amethyst walked out the balcony. Outside stood the priest with a basket hanging in his arm. He wore a teal robe with white and gold trims and detailing. His bronze splendor as if it were kissed by the sun, and his eyes green as the sea hidden behind thin square frames. The priest ran a hand through his slick short and black as night hair. ¡°Good afternoon, Miss Zetterberg.¡± Amethyst wanted to die. Out of all the people it had to be him, Father Demos. She smiled and played it off. ¡°Hello! What can I do for you?¡±
¡°Do you mind coming down? I have something for you.¡±
¡°Okay! Let me get my shoes.¡± She ran back to the living room and whispered, ¡°It¡¯s father Demos.¡±
¡°What? Him? What does he want?¡± Kaori asked.
¡°I don¡¯t know, I¡¯ll be back. Keep the fairy secure¡¡± Amethyst said before she left the room and ran down stairs to greet the priest.
¡°Sorry it took so long,¡± she chuckled.
He smiled and stared at her feet. ¡°You couldn''t find your shoes?¡± he asked sarcastically. Amethyst was caught off guard, she forgot to get her shoes back on.
¡°Sorry! I-I ran inside and I couldn''t find them at the moment,¡± she improvised.
¡°No matter, I won¡¯t keep you for long,¡± he said with a gentle smile and voice so serene like a lullaby. He handed her the basket he was holding on to and said, ¡°your mother won¡¯t be home till late, so, I thought perhaps you and your friends would be hungry. I made white rice, black beans and turkey breast.¡±
¡°Oh! How generous! I didn¡¯t know you were home-¡± she stopped talking when an unsettling thought went through her head. There were no sign of him being home, even his car wasn''t in the garage. She asked him, ¡°How did you know my friends were home¡?¡±
He laughed. ¡°You three are inseparable, I would be surprised if you were not with them. Not only that but you are very loud when playing in my garden.¡± The catholic neighbor smirked playfully watching her expression collapse into fear.
¡°I-.. but we¡ I didn¡¯t see your car¡?¡± she stuttered trying to fit a thousand questions into one sentence.
¡°I am home. My car is at the mechanic, so I am currently held captive in my humble home.¡± Father Demos laughed sweetly and said, ¡°Don¡¯t feel frightened, Amethyst. I am not angry you explored my garden.¡±
¡°We are sorry, Father Demos, but we had a good reason to do so!¡±
¡°Really?¡± his expression faltered to one of surprise. Amethyst thought about it before her tongue spilled the tea. If she told him she witnessed fairies in his garden again, she will be strapped down in a nuthouse till they can shock her imagination back to normal.
¡°W-we¡ I thought¡ saw¡¡± She swallowed thickly before giving her final reason to be, ¡°We were playing hide and seek¡ sorry¡¡± The priest pressed his hand delicately over her cheek. The sheer contact was hot and sparkly. Her heart made too many flips, and she was sure to pass out. ¡°Merxill ehnma, sulim naj... Stalagmite.¡± Her heart beat so wildly she barely heard what he said to her, in any case, it was music to her ears. She wanted nothing more but to lean in and answer his song with a dance of her own and bask in each other''s presence.
¡°R-right¡ Thank you for the meal, Father Demos.¡±
The priest smiled warmly and spoke, ¡°it¡¯s my pleasure, Miss Zetterberg.¡± He crossed her. ¡°God bless you, little lamb," he added before he left. ¡°Amen.¡± Amethyst blushed, watching him walk along the path, around the neighborhood and back to his home. She didn¡¯t want to admit it but she always had a platonic crush on the priest. He was gentle, thoughtful, honest, and she even dared to say he wasn¡¯t human. She knows it was hopeless, but it didn''t stop her from imagining how it would¡¯ve been between them would¡¯ve been.

Scene 1:
¡°Amethyst, wake up. It¡¯s time to go to school. I will buy you breakfast on the way.¡± Her mother said brushing her long dark brown hair. Amethyst groggily woke up rubbing the sleeping dust from her eyes. ¡°I¡¯m up¡¡± she said softly and got up to follow the routine.
After buttoning the final button of her uniform and completed her hygiene ritual she brushed her long hair. Her hair was exaggeratedly long but both mother and daughter grow it out of tradition. For school, she never had it down because of two scenarios back in grade school; someone put gum in her hair, which her mother was clever enough to remove with ice and tile cleaner, and someone cut a piece of her a few weeks later. Now Amethyst goes to school with a sock bun and covers it with a laced net. ¡°Alright, Pixie, I have to go to school, stay here,¡± Amethyst said, motioning to the dolly house she had left open for her fairy to live in. Pixie threw a tantrum wanting to go with Amethyst wherever she went. ¡°Pixie, no. I can¡¯t risk taking you with me,¡± she whispered softly to the fickle fairy.
¡°Amethyst, are you ready?¡± her mother called from the living room.
¡°I''m putting on my socks.¡± Amethyst sat on the bed and picked out between the yellow lace socks or the pink ones. In the end, knowing how dirty her socks get in that school, she picked the yellow ones. Now, the issue were her shoes. The blonde really wanted to wear the pink ones, but she had to resist. They were exclusively for special occasions, given that reason, she chose the black ones instead.
Her mother was getting her television equipment in the car while trying to finish her phone call, Amethyst took this as an opportunity and quickly ran to her next-door neighbor, Kaori, to greet her.
¡°Ohayou Gozaimasu, Amethyst.¡± Her uniform was different from Amethyst, she had a black and blue plaid skirt, a button down black shirt and a navy blue sweater vest. Kaori goes to a prestigious private school which means she is is over her shoulders with homework and studying.
¡°Morning, Kaori!¡±
¡°The video will be uploaded soon, make sure you see it at lunch time,¡± Kaori said.
¡°I will!¡±
¡°So, are you taking the fairy with you?¡±
¡°No, I rather she stays.¡±
¡°But¡ it¡¯s a fairy only we can see! What¡¯s the point of having a companion if your gonna tank life solo!?¡± the Asian asked slightly irritated. Amethyst guesses to be she hasn¡¯t slept.
¡°Kaori, I don¡¯t want to drag her out of her environment to shove her in another, she might get stressed.¡±
¡°That doesn¡¯t stop our parents from doing it!!¡±
¡°Kaori, you sound like a parcelera¡ That¡¯s not shiny¡±
¡°Oh, leave me alone, I just wanna sleep¡¡±
¡°Kaori, you didn¡¯t have to edit that all night long, you need to sleep.¡±
¡°Not like I could¡¡±
¡°What do you mean?¡±
¡°It was too dark yesterday.¡±
¡°So? You only sleep in dark borrows. What¡¯s wrong?¡±
¡°I¡ I gotta confess I saw that video in the deep, deep web.¡±
¡°Yeah, and¡.?¡±
¡°I couldn¡¯t sleep. It was fucking creepy watching people eat other live people!¡±
¡°Kaori, it¡¯s time to cease watching that stupid series, get a night light and sleep.¡±
¡°Never! It became my life! Last night was the season finale! I will personally make a neon sign that will say: double crossers pay double; one for each cross!¡±
¡°I am not gonna watch it with you¡¡±
¡°Yes you--¡± Kaori and Amethyst cringed at Mr.Tsukino yelling at them in Japanese, not even Kaori could decipher it. ¡°Okay, go to your school,¡± Kaori said pushing Amethyst out of her home. ¡°Okay, Have a nice day Kaori!¡±
Amethyst ran into the priest on her way to her house. He was walking down the path holding his bible under his arm. He smiled and spoke, ¡°good morning, Amethyst. How are you feeling?¡±
¡°I-I am good and you?¡±
¡°I am feeling great. I am on my way to greet the new neighbors.¡±
¡°We got new neighbors?¡± It wasn¡¯t strange for neighbors to come and go, there had been strange disappearances for years, even sudden deaths.
¡°Yes. You know me, I must give them a warm welcome.¡±
¡°You are very kind, Father Demos.¡± Amethyst smiled and blushed.
¡°And you are very late for school, Amethyst,¡± he chuckled as he tapped his designer wrist watch.
¡°Ah! Sorry I got to run!¡± She ran to the car and her mom ran down with her energy drink and still in the phone call. ¡°A new neighbor huh¡?¡± Amethyst wondered who could they be this time. She hoped they were kids of her same age. The last girl that moved in didn¡¯t last two days till they moved back out. She hopes maybe this one will stick.
¡°Uhg¡¡± her mother groaned, ¡°I really hate that Tsukino asshole¡¡±
¡°What happened?¡±
¡°His fucking limo, fucking idiot has to use it every single fucking day instead of using a normal car.¡±
¡°I would use my limo every day if I had one.¡±
¡°He actually sued Dana because she blocked him with her quincea?era limo.¡±
¡°Oh yeah¡ That was terrible, Kaori was so embarrassed.¡±
¡°I was embarrassed,¡± Nancy sighed and continued, ¡°we will get late again¡¡±
¡°Mom, it¡¯s okay.¡±
¡°It is not okay! I won¡¯t stand to be the worst mother!¡± Amethyst laughed, her mother was a drama queen, but she had been one of the coolest mothers on earth. Her name was Nancy Zetterberg and although she is a single mother, she takes her responsibilities seriously. Nothing will stop Nancy from giving it all to Amethyst, including getting her pancakes whilst getting her to school on time.
Scene 2:The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Her mother drove her to school with six minutes for Amethyst to run to her classroom. ¡°Have a good day, princess,¡± her mother said.
¡°You, too, Mama.¡± The teen reached to kiss her mother''s cheek and jumped out of the car making a mad dash to her classroom.
¡°Amethyst! Don¡¯t run!¡± Nancy yelled before she drove off to her work.
Amethyst ran up to the second floor and ran across the halls to find her classroom. She slides in and grabbed an empty chair and sat down.
¡°Morning, Amethyst,¡± said a boy with short brown hair. Amethyst turned and smiled, ¡°Morning, Joe.¡±
¡°The teacher isn¡¯t coming today.¡±
¡°What?¡±
¡°Yeah, apparently she was hanging out at night with the ladies and was involved in a horrible accident.¡±
¡°Wait, what? Is she okay?¡±
¡°My mother really couldn¡¯t say what happened but from the little my mother did say, she is in a coma¡¡±
¡°Oh, wow¡ That is terrible.¡±
¡°What did you expect from this island, if it''s not a shooting, it''s a drunk and drive accident.¡±
¡°I guess¡ So what will they do with homeroom?¡±
¡°At the moment, I assume we have the first and last period free. But I know they will assign a substitute till she recovers, or find a new teacher¡¡±
¡°I see. Well¡ want to play Witchcraft till the period ends?¡± Amethyst reached for her deck, mat and her totems in her bag pocket.
¡°Yes!¡± he said excitedly and searched for his deck of cards.
Amethyst and other students noticed an unfamiliar girl walk in. She had her headphones on and a sour look on her face. She could be a new student. She sat beside Amethyst and avoided eye contact with everyone.
¡°Hey, Joe, I think we got a new student,¡± Amethyst said as she shuffled her deck.
¡°Oh?¡± He looked over at the new girl as he set his mat on the desk. ¡°Huh, that¡¯s pretty neat.¡± He looked back at Amethyst. You think she wants to play cards with us?¡±
¡°It doesn¡¯t look like it but let¡¯s invite her, maybe she is just sad she had to move to a new school.¡± Amethyst turned and tapped on the new girl¡¯s shoulder and she turned her head to Amethyst. ¡°What?¡± she spat.
¡°Hey, we''re going to play cards, do you want to play?¡± Amethyst said. Both she and Joe smiled invitingly.
¡°No.¡± She turned away and turned up the volume of her music player.
¡°Rude¡¡± Joe said as he drew seven cards and laid his familiar totem on the mat. ¡°She could be on her period,¡± he added.
¡°I don¡¯t think so¡¡± Amethyst noticed one of the guys of her class approach her pulling the ear bud from her ear. ¡°Hey, baby,¡± Amethyst and Joe both cringed. ¡°What is your name?¡±
¡°One of these days, Lexis will die,¡± Joe commented.
¡°Why does he think giving a girl a pet name is a good idea? None of the times it worked,¡± Amethyst added.
¡°Women love persistent men¡¡±
¡°That''s shiny.¡±
The girl grabbed her bag and tossed it at the boy, he tumbled over a few desks trying to deflect the backpack. She said to him, ¡°fuck you, that¡¯s my name¡¡± The entire classroom gasped and stared at her. ¡°What? You want me to toss you my bag at you too?¡± she threatened at the crowd.
Amethyst looked away from her and whispered, ¡°great¡ we got a new bully¡¡±
¡°If we stay out of her way, we can avoid her deadly bag toss¡¡± Joe advised. ¡°Also, I jinx you.¡± He set a card down and spoke with a smug smile, ¡°you can only speak in rhymes.¡± Amethyst glared at him unimpressed. She will be a perfect poet at the rate he summons that jinx.
¡°Well, If not for the fact I am a proper lady, I too would swing my bag of tricks at your toothy grin¡¡±
Scene 3:
At lunch Amethyst and Joe went their separate ways, Joe ate out with his friends and she at the lunch room. Amethyst sat at a table and noticed everyone was on their phones, after glancing at someones phone she recognized the clothes in the video, the video Kaori produced and directed, as promised. She logged on and viewed the video. Kaori had a beautiful talent for editing to the point she made her unrecognizable. The whole point was to be anonymous so Amethyst is not targeted by people in real life. Everyone was watching their videos and the views were increasing since the production values were improving. She wondered if Kaori will use her talents in the communications department in the future.
She ate as quickly as she could to go outside to play dodgeball. Out of all the sports she had tried dodgeball was her utmost favorite. She had played it frequently to be one of the most annoying targets to hit and the most fought over as a valued team member. However, there weren¡¯t any students playing dodgeball, which greatly disappointed Amethyst.
¡°Hey!¡± someone yelled at her and grabbed her by the bun dragging her across the field. ¡°Let go of me!!!¡± Amethyst shouted. ¡°Not so tough when confronting me, huh!?¡± The new girl slapped Amethyst. ¡°Let go of me, you psycho!¡± The blond teen kicked at her assailant¡¯s face and took the opportunity to get away. Amethyst ran away but her assailant was closely behind. ¡°Bitch, why you running?!¡± the new girl shouted trying to reach for her collar and instead tackled her down. In seconds of the new girl punching Amethyst in a blind rage, the entire school alumni surrounded them to egg them on and record the fight. ¡°Don¡¯t talk shit if you can¡¯t face me! Bitch!¡± she yelled again.
The blonde teen, never really liked confrontation, unless she had to throw a punch of two. ¡°I said back off!!¡± she shouted and punched her throat hard enough to stun her but not to kill her. She proceeded to kick her off and rolled back onto her feet. The delicate blonde whipped the blood of her lip and spat the pool of crimson saliva onto the the dirt. The new bully took her stance, ¡°your not just a slutty princess, are you?¡± one thing is for certain, Amethyst was grateful she didn¡¯t wear her pink shoes to school. The dainty blonde raised her fists and just as ruthless as her assailant she viciously knocked her face side to side and kneed her stomach. Once her attacker sat on the ground on her knees, Amethyst grabbed a handful of her dirty blond hair and punched her hard enough to knock a tooth off her gums.
¡°Amethyst!¡± she heard Joe in the crowd. ¡°Amethyst what the hell happen?¡±
¡°Son of a bitch attacked me¡¡± Amethyst glared down at her assailant. She wanted to make her eat dirt.
¡°What!? Why!?¡±
¡°I don''t know.¡± She calmly walked over to reach for another handful of hair. ¡°What is going on!?¡± A teacher and a few other staff members surrounded the the bully and helped her to the nurse''s office.
¡°Amethyst you are screwed¡¡± Joe said as the principal gave her the accusatory look and signaled her with his finger to follow him to his office.
Scene 4:
Amethystarrived back home at three o''clock, she heard her mother calling her connections to file a lawsuit against the school. The teen opened the door to her room and opened the dolly house were Pixie receded. At the realization the fairy dashed out leaving a glitter trail. Amethyst giggled at how happy the fairy was to see her. Her expression soured to mild horror as she placed a microscopic hand over Amethyst¡¯s cheek. ¡°I told you it would be better if you stayed home.¡± The blonde laughed. ¡°Want to go say hi to Kaori and Marie?¡± the fairy nodded excitedly.
Amethyst changed quickly and left the house. Marie and Kaori didn¡¯t look happy. ¡°Holy fuck! What the hell happened!?¡± Kaori shouted. ¡°I got in a fight--¡±
¡°What do you mean you got in a fight! You''re a girly girl! You don¡¯t fight!¡± Kaori, had a point, she never had such a serious confrontation.
¡°Kaori, I could kick your ass if I wanted to¡¡± Amethyst jived.
¡°Does it hurt?¡± Marie asked.
¡°You should see the other girl, I knocked her tooth out¡¡±
¡°Shit Amethyst, you are not just telling me you are the whole package are you?¡± Kaori said and circled the teen blonde.
¡°Kaori, shut up¡¡±
¡°It¡¯s true what they say.¡± Marie said.
¡°What?¡± Amethyst looked at the French descendant.
¡°Soulmates share the same battle scars¡¡± Marie said with a flushed smile. Amethyst¡¯s brows knitted together at how odd the saying sounded. ¡°What¡?¡±
¡°What she means is, we got a new neighbor.¡± Kaori said to kill the awkward build up.
¡°Ah yes! Father Demos told me this morning,¡± it was a bright side she expected, she had long forgotten about it. Her friends didn¡¯t seem too overjoyed.
¡°Her name is Lou Anne,¡± Kaori said crossing her arms. Both her and Marie looked over Amethyst¡¯s shoulder. Upon turning Amethyst''s nightmares were confirmed, not only did she had to face her every day at school, but the school bully was actually her new neighbor. Lou Annestared at Amethyst like a red bulls eye. The blonde glared at her, standing her ground. ¡°You want me to knock a few more out of your bitch ass mouth?¡± she spat with venom in each syllable.
¡°I¡¯d like to see you try, cunt¡¡±
¡°We¡¯re not at school, I will drag your fat ass to the ground, bitch!¡± Amethyst shouted as she walked over to Lou Anne. Kaori and Marie surely have not seen her this aggressive or anything like it. They knew to call someone for help, but they also were enticed to watch. ¡°You want a piece of my frilly ass? Come and get it! cause I will sure as hell make you choke on your teeth.¡± Amethyst cracked her fists and got right in Lou Anne¡¯s face.
¡°Amethyst, stop!¡± Marie shouted.
¡°Dude! You just got out of a fight!!¡±
¡°Sweet heavens!¡± Amethyst was so engrossed in throwing punches she never felt someone pull her away from Lou Anne. Herfist collide with something and instantly fell backwards.
¡°Oh, shit¡¡± Kaori breathed.
¡°Father Demos!¡± Marie squealed. Amethyst was shocked, she literally slugged the love of her life and knocked him out. His face bleed from an open wound on his cheek bone. The blonde teen checked her hands, and she had globs of it. Not only that, her knuckles sparkled like a raw gem, and it hurt like hell after the adrenaline went down.
"Amethyst, it is safe to say, you gave him one hell of a shiner--¡± Kaori tried to say but Marie interrupted her. ¡°Don¡¯t¡"
