《Reaper's Grimoire》
Prologue
Somewhere in a realm where the god lies a small path in the beautiful yet dangerous mountain. The mountain holds some of the most oldest and most powerful creaturecreated by a primal god on a whim since then other gods started to add more monsters as time goes on. Now the mountain can kill gods themselves if they are not careful. This place quickly became a popular place to gain fame for new gods and goddess.
There a figure covered in a cloak with a giant dark scythe that seem to draw in the soul if one were to look at it and a book on one hand reading have a leather bound book that have a aged appearance with skull with a complex looking spell circle in the back. If one were to look at him closely you would discover that no matter how hard or which angle you look there always seem to be a darkness covering his face.
A few monsters tried to attack the figure but only to run away once they were close to him as if they were were staring death. After some time the figure stopped and said in a voice that would make one feel as if their soul is sucked right out of them said without looking up.

As if out of nowhere figures started to appear first numbering only a few but steadily increased to well over a thousand man and woman. A man walked out of the group of people and started to introduce himself.

Soon the cloaked man started to ignoring the man continued reading his book. Finally Jack notice the person wasn''t even listening anymore or even paying attention to him. Made some hand gestures at someone behind the cloaked figure.
A shadow barely noticable started to slowly sneak behind the figure holding the dagger and was about to stab him. But suddenly with two flash of a dark scythe the shadow and the god named Jack''s head flew with bright red blood spew everywhere.

And then started charging toward the figure and ended up with the same fate.

Shocked by how someone manage to kill a god so easily the other gods were getting scared. But of course some mentally retarded god yell

And all of them charged The cloaked figure started to run towards the gods too hack and slash as many of them with his scythe as he can while casting death bolts and necromancy to the gods that tried to run and or died in the battle. Making a army of skeletons, normally skeleton are weak and fragile but with the bones of a god and god''s power to support it became a being worthy of fear.
Days started to come and go with the battle continuing on just like the first day with something new... beast from the mountain started to arrive drawn by the smell of blood. With the beast joining the fight it got even harder for the cloaked god now that the beast of the mountain judged him as ''weak'' because his already weak aura is starting to fade from him as he fight. As more monsters and gods started to join the fight, the realm that holds the gods and beast started to crack from all the abuse it''s taking. Noticing this change the cloaked god decided to end it quickly or the mortal realm will be infested by these monsters.
Decided end this quickly by using a forbidden spell to kill every god and beast weaker then the level of high gods. The blood and bone from all the gods and beast start to rise and form a spell circle so large it covers the entire mountain. The gods and beast noticing the change start to fight even harder while others tried to run, the god using the only thing powerful enough to power the spell sacrificed his soul and activated the spell that killed more gods and beasts in a second then it did any other battle.
With his death dark and light orbs of light started to appear from the corpse body. The orbs of light and dark started to be adsorbed by the clocked person''s items with others heading towards the mortal world below though the cracks that formed in the battle. The gods noticing this cursed the items with the strongest curses they know started to throw them in to the mortal world when a cracks started to appear out of ground run up the mountains around them. The gods finally noticing something is wrong started to quickly ran away trying to avoid rift that started to form around them send gods and monsters alike into the world below.
As if the world decided to curse their luck the god who the cloaked god was suppose to meet showed up after feeling something is wrong and went to find him to find the scene like that saving as many gods as he can he brought them back to his domain to question them. After the questioning the elder god punished the gods to watch over the lost soul of the dead for they kill off the god who did that and cursed the gods that fell in to mortal worlds by turning them into goblins and the like for their punishment.
After holding a funeral for the fallen death god along with a few other elder god they set off to work to restore world balance that was tipped when the mountain with the monsters where send into the mortal world.

Prologue 2
Random Persons'' POV
Today I was out hanging out in town with my friends when I suddenly see the sky started to turn dark and cracks started to form the cracks are like the void forming. That was when it started to rain things they look like the beings from video games like slimes,giant rats, wolfs, etc. falling and attacking the people after severe seconds of looking confused as to what happened when they landed, then they bare their fangs and attacked.
I ran I ran faster then I thought I could then I saw it, a giant blue slime as big as a 2 story building it moving through the streets melting whatever it came in contact with. Then It "saw" me and started to move towards me cursing I ran down a different street and finally deciding to hide in a nearby store with my lungs burning I look around for a escape route and saw a door.
When suddenly a blue screen appeared and started a count down.

Elder God''s POV:
Me and the other gods decided to activate Protocol Number:692163512734 which is a system with a RPG like system that we have been working on because it''s was still in it''s early stages we still need to improvemost of it''s feature. But after hastily put down some safe points in the world so the human can survive the slaughter because most of the guns and weapons they have can''t hardly even scratch the creature that kill even gods.

After spending for god know how long with the other Elder Gods they finished patching up the system and added dungeon core that uses the light and dark miasma to make monsters, expand, build, and give loot around the world. After Me and the other gods finishing cursing most of the monster so the human stand a chance against them. They were forced into deep slumber only to wake up thousands of year later to find that the world''s common sense completely changed.

How the orbs of light and dark came to be
So the date was 12/30/2018 when the death god Reaper died or also know as the cloaked figure. Upon his death the souls that he keep became free turning into energy with the ones that were dark souls into dark orbs and the pure souls into light orbs.
Some knowledge of the orbs of light and dark
The light and dark orbs holds the power of a soul so when it was released it was extremely powerful because some of his things were designed to hold energy of the soul he have no time or is just too lazy to processes it into new soul. Because of that trait the energy started to fuse with the items and in the process making it even more powerful along with some thing else...
Things the orbs did to theinhabitantof planet Earth
The energy that fell towards fell slower then the monsters so when the energy reach Earth the people are already in the safe zones. Because of the energy people were changed depending of the the contraction of light and dark energy turning them in elves, fairies, and other less pleasant creatures like vampires, skeletons , etc. and turning animals and plants in to even more monsters.
Things the orbs did to the world
The energy also infused with the Earth destroying some land, or made more lands so you can''t even tell that was Earth even if you been studying it for years. Another thing that that the orbs did is that it made new ores from infusing it self to it. While turning some of the elements into monster like dryad, golem, etc.
The system
The system was designed by a elder god on a whim because why not? with the system the world will have a game like element like levels, stats, inventory, etc. For the system be actually strong enough to implemented into the people and things of Earth it has to be bounded by god. (so yea the system is here to stay guys) Because the system is bounded by gods they have a certain amount of authority to command the system to do something depending on their power.
The safe zones-The safe zones are the by produced of the system that even gods became bounded to when it was activated it is essentially stop monsters and other hostile creatures from entering.
Classes-Classes are apart of the system classes help the person or thing able to achieve better result in things like cooking, carving, blacksmithing, etc. It does not affect anything else so and archer can use a warrior''s weapon and same goes for the warrior. Their are also no limit to the amount of classes you can have andusuallyyou can only have two active primary class gains 100% of xp while secondary gains 75% and if you have third it gains 50% xp and the rest doesn''t drop any lower.
Evolution-Evolution happens when a being reach the max level for the being itself , their skill or any thing else that might have a level reaches its max. Once someone or something reaches their maximum level will have the choice to evolve into a stronger version of that item or person. Sometime you need fulfill some condition before evolving but to evolve any skill you need to fulfill a less one condition.
Sentience- anything is able to think for itself when it is imbued with mana or chi to evolve into a evolved species. (example: Evolved Grimoire, Evolved Stone Golem, etc.)The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.
Gender- All things or beast will be given a gender if it fills the requirement and or is just special the requirements are it must have basic instinct wither man or beast and have a organic or humanoid form like a golem. if something like a golem gains the ability to ''think'' it will be given a gender by the system depending on what it was used for, what it looks like , what the owner dresses it as a girl or boy with other circumstances before it gain sentience if it''s not interfered by something else like god. Gender can also be changed depending on things like class or species.
Dungeon Cores
Dungeon cores are circle thing that increases in size as it grow stronger. The cores are intelligent and can do things that takes hundreds of human years to build in a instant(like tunnels, towers, etc.) though they are usually limed be their mana until they become stronger. The dungeon core uses the orbs to make items and monsters to protect them.
Magic
The humans able to use magic is all thanks to the goddess of wisdom and knowledge that gifted the human and the other races grimoires, grimoires are books that contain the knowledge to utilize the mana in their body. People can use magic without grimoires but it''ll take longer to learn and cast.
Spells Circle-Spells circle are another form of spells but more mana efficient for those that have low mana. It can take mana from more then one source with the ability to do all things spells does and more like summoning though It has a draw back of longer cast time and has to be physically drawn with other requirements depending on the objective. (Lore: It was created by a mysterious human that appeared out of nowhere with little to no mana but have a unusual determination to become a mage by studying the paths mana takes to form spells.)
Rune Magic- Rune magic are devolved from spell circle magic with the help of god are able to imbue itself into anything that you can write the rune symbols on and will stay active until it''s source of mana is gone.
Grimoires-Grimoires are book gifted by the goddess of wisdom and knowledge and are essential to mages and classes of the like.
Magic Weapon-Magic Weapons are thing like staffs or grimoires that can help one increases the ability of a certain type of magic or increases certain aspect of their spells like cast time. (example: Staffs are used for range and accuracy while grimoires are used for speed and power though that can be changed depending on the one making it)
Magic Tools- The are any tools imbued with magic usually found in dungeons whither it can kill or not does not matter.
Chi
Chi also a by produce of the orbs are for people that likes to fight close range with things like swords, spears, etc. chi is a power that allows people to achieve immortality like magic meditating helps improve it''s ability. Not many people know a lot of it''s uses because most of it''s knowledge is lost or keep a secret so normal people can''t attain powerful chi arts.
Learning Chi Arts- Chi arts are engraved on to stone tablets or grimoire but unlike grimoires it does not need the said stone table to enhance their casting speed. It has a drawback of losing the stone tablet or grimoire once learned unless it is made by powerful crafters like master level crafter even then it will have a limit amount of uses before braking or losing it''s power(can be recharged if it''s just a lost of power).
World map
After the change the world formed into two giant continent light and dark with one island which bridges are build to allow trade or war into each other''s continent though strangely the bridges no matter what they do are unable to be destroyed.
The things left behind by death
The Arcane Art of Life and Death-The The Arcane Art of Life and Death is a grimoire but unlike other grimoires it has the ability to adsorb and save knowledge from other grimoire and gain it''s power another ability is the ability to teach one chi along with mana.
Soul Scythe-The scythe or as people called it Soul Scythe it has the ability to adsorb the souls of the people it kill to either temporally or permanently enhance it''s ability if the soul is strong it also have the ability to change what weapon it is but it''s most powerful in it''s scythe form.
Hidden Death- The cloak or as the people called it Hidden Death because of its ability to hides one''s face and or change his features, if giving a soul it can turn the user invisible the duration depending on the soul used.
Skull of Death-The Skull of Death are the bones of the death god Reaper with the ability to hold the soul of the fallen to use at a later date and or summon creatures of death to help you fight it''ll will change how it looks depending on the users preference.
Tick-Tick is a clock made for Death with the help of Cronus the god of time has the ability to tell when is a person going to die but if used correctly you can stop the death of that said person though it will take a very strong soul to activate this ability.
For those that are wondering the curse have restricted the items ability and all soul''s used are processes into pure souls and release it so basically the darker the soul the better.

At first I feel nothing, think nothing, hope for nothing but now I can think, dream, and feel for who knows how long I have stayed then I felt it I can feel someone coming. He stood right in front of me flipping the pages to the secrets that I hold I let him read the pages and the secrets within. Then suddenly I was taken off the pedestal and hastily put into a bag when I hear a friend of his call for him

(Merlin)"Yea I''m found nothing of value in here just rotting books that will never be read"he said with a sad face.
They started to walk and talk about the new dungeon in the north and other random stuff. When they finally reach the city the guard''s ask about his finding and let him in. In a inn he started to read and read until morning then he decided after talking with his friend to move into mountains were a tower stood there he read and researched me. The friend left after a few years saying that the tower is getting boring and he wants follow his dream to go out and explore the world.
After he left the tower got a lot more boring and Merlin? he is still researching trying to make some kind of spell saying something about going back in time whatever. After a few decades of the same schedule of Merlin researching then making the spell circle failing and repeat though the circle are getting more complex and taking more energy. Then after a few more time of him repeating the experiment something went off it was a ding sound like a bell with a blue screen appearing.

Ok so it must be Curse of The Fallen Gods fault for the locked stats and the error status must be me being unkillable because of me being The Arcane Book of Life And Death, ... I think. Ok if I got this whole thing right I''m going to need to practice mana sensing to level it up well at less this time I have something to do.
After a few days of trying to sense mana I finally got it to Lv.5 I would have don''t it for a bit longer but Merlin started screaming about it something and knocking books all around me with a huge wave of mana washing over me moments later Knocking me out. After some time I woke up again thinking that Merlin failed again but then I notice that there were no sad lonely old man crying in his usual corner...

So After deciding to test my skill absorb out I start sucking in one of the many grimoire that was on top of me let''s see now the Grimoire of Beginner Mage. ''hmmmmm let''s do that one first'' and started to absorb the grimoire, after absorbing the grimoire a familiar sound was heard along with a massive headache from all the information being forced in to my mind at once.

After checking other book in front of me, no other grimoire was below novice level, so I decided to use telekinesis and started to organised the book on to the book self. Some time later I ran out of mana and started to meditate to recover my mana faster then got back to stacking books and repeat. After a few hours finishing with the books I use telekinesis on my self and put my self onto the table and took a nap...
I leveled up Telekinesis and Meditation when I was collecting the books.

Three days have passed and I still haven''t found out where Merlin keep all his lower grade grimoires if he has any at all. But on a side note I found out that I can still learn advance grade grimoires. I just have to learn them the normal way though it was a lot slower, it took me a full day just to comprehend one spell in that dumb book!
(Note: It usually take weeks or even months to learn advance spells for normal people. But the grimoire never seen anyone else learning spell other then Merlin so she/he is basing on Merlin''s speed of comprehension which is stupidly fast for a human)
I used the golem creation spell on a few test tubes and mana stones I found nearby when I first learned it hoping it can kill off some rat that recently moved in. The result is a foot tall golem made of glass and some unknown glowing blue liquid that was in the testing tubes, I used for the golem, making it''s his whole body glow. The golem is made with speed, agility and power in mind so it have a small thin structure that people would called cute I think? if not with the two deadly looking one edged blade that occupies the space where the hand should be. Testing it out I found that the golem is indeed fast and agile but not powerful because it''s weapon is made out of glass so it''s easily broke attacking the rats.
After a lot of trial and error I finally made a golem that looks the same as the last one but this time it has a more durable body and blade by adding some dark steel to it''s frame. It took me Several hours to make this one because dark steel takes more mana then glass and unknown blue liquid to shape. But as the end result golem is slower because of the steel frame running though out the golem with spaces in between showing the glowing glass beneath plus it doubles as a light source for reading at night!
I sent it out to kill the rats every day to keep the tower clean of rat until one day a message appeared.

It seems like the Arcane and Secert keepers options can turn you into a form that can walk but no they seem to be weak...though I have no idea how I got the evolution option for ALPHA and BETA I have little to no info so I''m going to skip on that. So the first time changing won''t take mana huh... after a lot of thinking and remodeling the first golem I made I finally finished. Now the golem have hand with the ability to change into blades if the situation calls for it, apparently the blue liquid can be shaped and solidified if injected mana into it so that made making the choice of what golem to change into way easier.

Using the Material of the golem I made I formed my body to be exactly the same as the golem and tried move around just to fall flat on my face. Some time later I finally able to walk properly, but still have some problems with changing my hands into blades and back, it just takes to long to be useful in a real fight. So the system assumed this golem form is a female... whatever time to go rat hunting.

After spending hours hunting rat I leveled up quit a few time but dang rats keep coming like there is no end. Some more hour later I manage to find out that the dang rats are coming from a hole in the ground near the defense magic circle under the the tower. Speaking of which I manage to find out more about the tower, the tower is made of 12 floors including the 2 underground floors with one containing some broken tools, weapons, etc. from the years Merlin lived here. The second one is under the other one it contains the spell circle and the mana source that power the circle and every experiment Merlin ever did.
''Well I would have never found the second underground floor if the rat didn''t keep coming under the a specific area of trash.'' After killing all the rat on the top floors I gone under the trash pile entering the second underground floor. The first thing I saw is a huge pool of the glowing blue liquid thing that is flowing around in me with several spell circle in it protecting the tower. The second thing I saw? well it''s a grimoire floating above the liquid covered in a blue coating of mana crystal draining the mana core that powers the circles and the tower.
The first thing it did after seeing me, is to drawing spell circles that summons rats to try and kill me. Using my blade I cut off the head of the rat nearest to me and started to move towards the book, after killing few more rats I notice that a few of the rat body didn''t turn in to dust and dispersed like a summoned being would but instead it''s organs and or headless body are laying though out the floor. ''It seem like the book is a evolved one but extremely hostile with the ability to summon and tame rats to attack me.'' While thinking about that a rat managed to sneak up on me and knocked me into the blue liquid with it, but instead of dropping to the bottom of the pool the area around the rat started to bubble and covered the rat. Soon after nothing but bone started the drop to the bottom.
I would love to say I''m immune to the liquid but the liquid is also starting corroding the dark steel that made up my body''s defenses. Noticing the liquid''s corrosive properties I quickly started to move towards the wall of the pool and started climbing up using the stones that made up the pool as a foot hold. When I finally made it out my armor was almost completely gone. With my blade now useless I started to use Golem Creation using the liquid as a materiel because of how fast it can kill the rats.
I used the most simple and mana conservative method I have to create my army a blob of liquid or in other words a slime. There is no other way to describe the thing I made it''s a blob of blue corrosive liquid that seem to melt every thing it "eats". With my slime army I manage to kill the rats and clean the floor of blood and gore.Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval. Report sightings.
The floating grimoire noticing it''s army of rat being destroyed started to a even bigger circle. Well you would think he will abandon summoning rats but nope he just summon a bigger rat. The bigger rat is about 10 feet big and 20 feet long and have white fur instead of black with a crown I think on top of his head.
While all that is happening the floating grimoire lost track of where I am and started to look for me. I was in the liquid slowly moving toward the rat loving book when I am finally directly under him I used Golem Creation and made a golem with a plank like shape to bring my up. When I am only a few feet away from him, he noticed me and started panic and called to giant rat over. Which is by the way half covered in my slimes with it''s bone starting to appeared.
With it only being under a feet above me I jumped and grabbed on to the cover and used ''absorb'' on him. Being a evolved grimoire made it so that it''s above the level it should have been so I instantly fainted. After waking up a few days later I heard a familiar sound.

A Lifes Memories Ch.5
After getting out of the unknown liquid which dissolved the layer of dark steel which I use as armor and as a weapon. Now I''m am unable to fight even a rat because of me being made out of only glass....
So what did I do? well I hid in a corner where the light doesn''t shine for some reason and started cursing myself for doing something as dumb as jumping back in the liquid that I know that can dissolve my armor for a few hours.... ok note to self need to find better influence then Merlin...
I probably would have stayed there longer if it wasn''t my "slime" bumping into me giving me a idea. I commanded a few of the slime to combine into a single giant and made it cover my as my temporally armor for now. Then I told the rest of my slime to go out first and kill anything that moves. With that I manage to return to my table where I spend most of my time.
A few days later
I started to see memories that I have never seen before all them showing bits and pieces of cities, mountains, dungeons, people, monster, and many other things but all them seem to go before I can make sense of it, yet I feel the memories are all still there. It''s starting to scare the hell out of me after a few days of this because I know I never been to or read about the places the memories have been or the knowledge that the memories seem to come with. With the memories also comes with foreign things to me like joy, hate, and other emotions you would feel but not physical things like pain, though you do have this feeling of pain like you know it''s painful.
The memories lengths are all different helping me find out side world more and more interesting by the second. After some time the memories finally ended with the "me" in the memories being forgot in a chamber full of unknown liquid that I found out to be a level 5 Concentrated Liquid Mana or CLM5 by Merlin''s friend when he still had some. Since you can make basically anything from mana it is also logical that a item can become mana again well the CLM''s series do just that. the higher the level of the CLM the bigger range of items can be dissolved and can decrease the time use to return revert back into mana. In other words the CLM is best protection you have against magic and the like the higher level the better.If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. There are also CMM and the CGM which are the Concentrated Mist Mana and the Concentrated Ground Mana respectively. They all have something they are best at disrupting and or stopping anything made up of mana like spells.
When the memories finally ended I know I learned a lot about the outside world that a book can''t teach me or won''t teach me. The irony is that a book did teachh me these things...

I started to shift though the memories that just have just been integrated into me, what I saw made me speech less
After unknown amount of time.
I have been able to find out more about the outside world from all the book that Merlin had found the years. Though it may not be the best guide anymore since decades or maybe even centuries have passed since it was written. Since a random god could have a tantrum and or something can made a ocean or make a mountain appear out of nowhere the maps are probably useless. Especially now where high god are everywhere because now even lower level gods can now become higher level because of the mana and chi around instead of getting more followers or though age.
What ever doesn''t bother me since there are going to be more places to explore for me or less depending on the gods. for the pass few days along with reading I have found some Iron Wood to replace my Dark Steel but It''s a bit weaker though, at less it more flexible then the other. Since I don''t need since I don''t need stuff like food and water to survive I only brought one of my slime golem with me to play with and have the rest to watch the house so I have a place to return to. On a side note I manage to find a way to program the golems to do some things like clean and attack form leveling up golem creation a bit from making the iron wood model. I also use the crystal powering the tower to charge the golem since I''m going to be to far away to do it.
Now to the outside world I go!!

Sorry for not updating for the past 2? 3? weeks and I feel ashamed of my self for not standing by what I promised to post at lest once a week. I have over estimated my self and rashly made that promised so.... yea sorry I now decided to change to chapters form once a week to at lest once a month or something like that and slowly make my way down to once a week. Fly Like a Bird Ch.6
Going through the front door proves to harder then expected as the door is enchant so magic doesn''t work on it, leaving me unable to go outside. Leaving me stuck as what to do, I don''t want the slimes melt the door because I don''t want the local wildlife destroying my home.
While thinking I remember that there was a window in the fourth floor and started to head there, only after I arrive did I remember the fact that it''s on the FOURTH floor jumping down from there will definitely smash my body to pieces.
The window itself is just hole cut into the wall with a wooden board covering it, now thinking about it I remember that the window was here from one of Merlin''s experiment and never got around to repairing it. Ahhhh the memories I was also almost turned to dust from the beam if it was just angled a bit a more to the left....
Any ways opening the window I saw that the window is facing a cliff on a mountain with a sea of trees spanning seemly forever toward the mountains in the background. So yea new problem since the tower is near the cliff which will make my four story drop into a 40 story drop making it even harder for me. Going back into the tower I started to look around for anything that might help...
Some time later I found nothing but some forgotten research in some random corner that he never got around to completing. The research is about some long term way of fly since flight magic is too consuming to use constantly and contraption are too big and takes to much space. He decided that having wings like monsters dragon, devil, etc. is the best way as it is a part of you and you can improve it as long as you improve your stats. He stopped researching it after he came across a big barrier, making one grow the wings. After failing on several test subjects and horrible deforming them in the processes he give up.
The good news is that I have the skill remodel and directly make wings on me, but the bad news is that I being made out of different materials the method that Merlin devised to set the wingspan of the wings for living things does not work as well for me. So I have no idea what to make the wings out of and how to make the wings so it can keep me from falling and dying. Guess I''m going to need to start reviving a dead research project.

On a table a mess of many different materials lay scattered with many different broken shapes and sizes with most of them having broken wing like shapes on their back. A single figure sat in the middle of it all holding what seems to be thin air...
I manage to make a working prototype that uses special type of white bendable alloy that is almost weightless. The alloy have been made into countless feathers forming into a bird like wings, that can be use as a projectile if needed.
The wings have been tested on several different golem models that have a variety of shape and weight and have passed most of the tests. This one being the one that is the most flexible in carrying different types of shapes and material.
While the Wing is a good thing to have around it also have a big drawback of being a very expensive item as the forging processes and and materials for the it are rare. It also forces me to change my combat style as my body is remade so that it can wrap around my body turning it into a cloak and armour when I''m not flying.
Well whatever small sacrifice for the benefits for getting out of this place and faster travel.
Nearing the end of the check up I started to walk towards the end of the table readying for the test flight. Looking over the table I started to get worried as jumping off from this height will likely hurt a lot if the wings doesn''t work. while hoping I won''t die from this I jumped, instead of me flying around the room I landed hard on the ground taking away a large chuck of my health.

The Town Ch.7
After flying out the tower "window" I remember that I forgot to bring my favorite pet slime and quickly made a U turn in mid air flew back in. Once landed I started to for my favorite slime for some reason the slime around started to change in colors some red others brown and some even have colors like pink!
Hmmmm that was weird seems like this system is affecting the way I think or is it how I normally think? Need to look more in to this thing called the system or there might be unforeseen things happening to my mind...
Any way I decided to bring the pink slime with me because I like the color and it have some sort or repair ability that work on my body. After having the slime form around my body like a protective layer I flew out the window to the nearest settlement I found list on the map.
The map shows the settlement as a human settlement and one of the few that take in all races even "non-living" type like me. Though I''m not sure if the settlement is still the same or if it''s gone completely as that is targeted spot for other kingdoms, empires, and even some churches.
But that is the closest known town that is not controlled by a king or like and that takes in non-living type like me so I finally decided to I''ll scout the place first with a Golem before going in.
Finally seeing the highlight of a stone wall I flew down to the ground and landed in the forest near the human road and start to sneak towards the town.

I received notification form the town the elders that a unknown third stage being tripped the aerial and ground alarm system and are now approaching the town from the west side. Me and my team are to check the area and confirm whether the being is hostile or not if so we are to put it down.
Back in the barracks me and my team decided to go light with escape scrolls as it is a stage two being and we probably need all we can get to run away. I mean who sends only a small team of knight is definitely not enough to kill a stage two unknown beast unless we have a master level sniper on the team which we don''t have.Stolen novel; please report.
Soon after we started to head to the west side of the town with trackers to hunt down the second stage beast. As we near the said beast we see the bush moving reflexively putting my hand on the escape scroll and is ready to teleport away if there is a split second of danger. Only to see a flash of pink run out a bush and disappeared the next second and then a giant flame hog soon followed.
Being a veteran I quickly gathered myself and my team and followed the flaming trees the flame hog left behind while leaving the fire to the nearby nymphs to put out the fire. While following the trail I ask if any of my teammate know what just happened one of them told me that a small pink thing with a human like shape ran passed us with a flame hog chasing it.
Cursing I started to ran through the trail faster, for a person to be wearing pink in the middle of a forest usually means that they are high ranked nobles and the last thing we need is more reasons for kingdoms to attacking us. Following the trail we found it ended near raven with a flame hog corpse in it... F#$%
Grimoire''s POV
Well that was close I almost got killed by a flaming pig sheesh why did it chased my so far I only stabbed it on accident, great because of it now I''m lost. I been practicing golem craft with my slime turning it into many different size and shapes.
I would have flew up to check where the village is but it seem that the night snuck up on me while I was trying to use telepathy properly. On a side note the slime seem to glow in the night that''s not good as predators will notice me if it keep on glow like this. Willing the slime to not glow anymore the light on me begin to dim as the slime start to become dimming finally become barely noticable.
Sun finally started to come up after hours of me playing with the slime trying to shape my slime into different shapes but it always falls back into a blob after I release the controls. Putting the urge to research more about the slimes I started to unfold my wings and with a jump and a flap of my wings send me several meters up in the air.
When finally nearing the limit of the height where my wings can take me I saw the village or should I says city? The village is too big to be called a village so I guess the village expanded into a city and by the undead walking in and out of the gate I guess it''s still the same as the book says.
Flying down again I wrapped the wings around me again using it as a cloak with only my head exposed. Willing the slime next to I to walk with towards the town with the slime following suite.

The interior of the wall is build with a storage facility with a automatic locking function that actives when the population goes down a certain point so that if one day if we are ever push back towards extinction. The gates will open and inside alsort of weapon, armour, tools, soldiers, instructors you name it you can find it with the system''s assist that will lead you though the giant maze toward the storage facilities. With the new found power we defended the walls of Apollo building turrets and defence of allsorts on every nook and cranny we could reach.
I fear this year''s festive would be the last one with the sound of gunfire and war cried as our song and weapons of mass destruction as our fireworks, but at the very least we are all together one last time to go out with a boom as there''s nothing I would like more then to see them turn to space dust.
