 Chapter One: The Downfall Of The Great Crown Prince

    I still remember that day, the day my third little brother was born. My father is sitting right next to me and we are waiting for the doctor to come out from the royal chamber, there are people around us, maids, nobles, diplomats, soldiers. All of them anxious including my father because my mother was a sickly woman.This was her fourth childbirth, two of my little brothers died because of a flu outbreak in the country, everyone hoped this little baby wouldn''t die like that.


    And so the door opened with the doctor coming out with the baby on his arms. Everyone''s faces turn bright, my father stands up with a happy smile on his face but the doctor isn''t smiling. "The Queen died during birth." Their faces turn white, my father stands in shock looking at my little brother, he picks up my little brother and starts to cry. "Your mother is dead, two of your big brothers are dead, your grandfather and your grandmother are dead, you only have me and your big brother Arthur. Therefore I shall name you, Deristian.     I woke up, I noticed the maid I slept with last night, she is naked and she is smiling after she slept with the great crown prince, me.

    After checking out everything I go outside, I have classes today but I am excited for the music lesson, because I love my music teacher, she is a beautiful woman with long white hair and blue eyes just like mine, she always wears a beautiful red dress and a red butterfly clasp, she is a cold woman with high discipline but I know she is really kind inside, I want to marry her but there is a problem, she is an old woman with the age of sixty-one but I will marry her when I become the king, I don''t care what anyone says.


    I walk to the music room, I see the maids looking at me with admiration, I give them a wink and they blush just like always, I am really a handsome man.     I start to cry when I arrive at my room, my heart is broken, it was the first my father and my love got angry at me, I cry for thirty minutes and then I make a plan. "If they care about his genius hands that much, I will take them." I know that my little brother should be having a sword classes at the moment so I go to the yard, I see my little brother practicing with a wooden sword.


    I arrive at the yard, he looks sad but when he sees me his face brighten ups and he runs to me. "Big brother! Are you here to watch me ?" I laugh and pat his head.     I give my prince coat, my crown and my medals to his teacher, I pull my sleeves and we stand ready, I am going to injure his hands in an accident, and so the teacher yells. "Start!"


    As soon as he says start, my little brother starts to move, he is really fast for a kid in his age and all of a sudden he gets the first strike, I block it but I makes me lose my stand, I fall into the grass but because of my bigger body I manage to stand up easily and attack him, I notice he is using wind magic to boost his speed, nobody said anything about banning magic so I use my wind magic to make him fall, he falls down and he loses his sword, I aim for his right hand but then I feel a sharp pain in my right hand causing me to drop my sword, I see his left hand covered in wind.


    I notice that my right hand is so hurt that it can''t move, I don''t want to lose this battle so I laugh. "Haha! You are amazing, I never thought that you would use your wind magic to boost your speed and turn your left hand into a stone like hand." He smiles and comes to me. "Pat my head, Big brother!" I pat his head with my left hand and then I pick up my things and leave, that day I put my right hand in my pocket because I couldn''t feel it.


    Next day I woke up with a sharp pain on my right hand, I was able to move it but the pain was unbearable, and that day was special because I had a duel with my cousin Roselina, she a beautiful woman with long golden hair and red eyes, the cause of the duel was an argument, she wanted to join the knights but women weren''t allowed in the knights and she was more suited to be a diplomat and I denied her request to join the knights and she challenged me to a duel, and now we were going to duel.


    My right hand was still hurting so I was going to use my left hand, it was less efficient but I was trained for this and I was confident that I would beat her, I arrived at the horse stadium in the knight barracks, we used this place for training horses and this was an unofficial duel place, nobody liked it because it smelled like horse shit but it was a tradition.


    I arrived at the stadium last, I saw her, with a ponytail and an iron armor, she looked at me and yelled. "Come on!" I was already wearing my armor and my sword, and so we were both ready to fight but there was one more thing talk about. "Wooden, blunt or real ?" She answered without thinking. "You choose." I laughed at her admiration, I was expecting her to yell "Real" but she gave me the choice. "Blunt, I don''t want to hurt you Roselina." I dropped my real sword on the sand, and the knights watching us from the stadium threw us two blunt swords.


    Both of us put the blunt weapons in our sword sheaths, we were going to pull those when the fight started and so one knight from the stadium yelled. "Start!" I reached out for my sword but when I touched the handle I noticed that my sword sheath was on my right side and so I touched it with my right hand, this caused me delay but I pulled it with my left, she took advantage and rushed me, I blocked it and then she hit my left leg with her right leg.


    I fell on the sand, she aimed for my hand, just like I did to Deristian, I rolled left and she missed. I stood up and charged at her and just like there was a body difference because of this she started to use the sword two-handed, she hit me with her right leg, I blocked it but it pushed me back and I saw her jumping


    She wanted to get a clear hit but I was unable to block it because I couldn''t use my right hand, her two hands overpowered my left hand and I took a hit to the head, I threw her off my body and stood up, everything was spinning, I was hardly keeping balance, she saw this as an opportunity and started to swing her sword at me, every time I blocked her hit I was being pushed back and then the last hit was here, she hit me and I fell into the shit pile. I was almost getting up and then I felt the blunt head of the sword on my neck.


    "Give up, I won." She looked at me with a smug look on her face, I looked at the stadium, everyone was looking at me like I was some loser, I wanted to get up but I was humiliated enough. "I give up, you can join the Knights." She offered her hand to me, unconsciously I used my right hand and when she pulled me up, she realized something wrong with my right hand.     Almost every important person, my father, my little brother, my love and my cousin were there, the doctor examined my hand, he used many things to fix my hand but none of them worked, he turned to my father and said. "Crown prince''s right hand is gone, he will be never able to move his right hand." Everyone was surprised, normally losing a right hand was normal for kings, they lived and nothing changed but in our kingdom, a crown prince losing his dominant hand would mean losing his crown heir status.


    There was a silence and my little brother started to cry, he started to hit my cousin Roselina. "You broke his hand, why did you" She couldn''t say anything, she looked at me and bowed to me with crying eyes. "I-I am sorry, you can cut my right hand." She offered her right hand to me, the real cause of the injury was my little brother but I didn''t want him to suffer so I said. "Cut your right hand."


    She pulled her sword and almost swung it down, but then my father stopped it with his bare hands. "No, it was a dueling accident." My clothes were standing next to me, he picked up my three medals and my crown, he gave my head knight medal and my bravery medal to her and he gave my little brother my crown and my crown heir medal. "I promote you to the head knight and my little son, Deristian now you are the crown prince." I was outraged but I couldn''t bring myself to say any words, everyone was looking at the great me with such pitiful eyes, and that was the beginning of my downfall.

 Chapter Two: Friends And Allies

    One day later I wanted to meet with my supporters and so I sent backchannel requests to nobles, soldiers, priests, and merchants, I was expecting, a room full of people but instead I got a room with only two people, one of them was Roselina, I guess she was feeling indebted to me even though I ordered to cut her hand off but I always knew that me and Roselina were really good on term, she was looking at me with a worried look on her face, she was sitting right next to the bed I was lying on.


    The other was my other best friend, The Minister of Treasury, Gulten, he was an elf with long pointy ears,  long black hair and green eyes, he was a cold man but a sweet talker, he was able to deal with every diplomatic situation even though he was The Minister of Treasury,he was holding a notebook and writing on it. "Well, I think General Alex isn''t coming," Gulten said.


    My popularity, my work, my fame, my charm was nothing now, I was only left with two people that I trusted with my life. This was enough for me to throw a coup, a minister, and a head knight, I just wanted my name go down even if that meant me being bad.


    All of a sudden the doors opened and a man wearing armor came in, a handsome man with short red hair and red eyes, he had a relaxed smile on his face. "Sorry, sorry, I am quite late, some woman distracted me. You know how that is right Arthur?" This man was General Alex, a friend of mine, Alex and I were hunting partners but we didn''t hunt animals we hunted for woman but I lowered my lust on women but he increased his lust when he got his title. Roselina couldn''t argue with that because Knights were only ceremonial and were called for little things their main mission was not to protect the country it was to protect the royal family, this was why the punishment for hurting a royal in the knights was a death penalty.


    "Ahem!" Gulten coughed loudly to stop the argument. "Now we have a decent chance to throw a coup, now if you let me majesty I would like to invite my own kind to this" I was surprised to hear this from Gulten because he wasn''t a fan of his race and his race wasn''t a fan of him but elves were cunning, I was thinking and then I saw Rosalina''s face saying "No!"  But I was desperate. "Yes, but limit them," I said. Gulten had a smile on his face like he was confident in his race this made me confident as well. "We all have things to do, can we go your majesty ?" Said Gulten. "Of course of course." All of them lowered their heads and left my room, I was alone.     I stared at the ceiling for a few minutes then I was thirsty so I left my bed to get some water that was on the balcony table, I started to pour some water to my glass, but then I sensed something really bad behind me but I had experience with this kind of thing, so I talked without thinking.  Chapter Three: The Traitor Elf And The Dark Angel

    Three of us left the Prince Arthur''s room, we were all going in the same way, none of us opened their mouths because none of us got along, our only friend was Arthur, now he was in this shape, he looked like an old man who gave up on everything, but yet I still saw the light in his eyes, those eyes told me everything about him the moment I met him, the only thing left was not his heroism, not his vengeance, not his love. The only thing left was his ego, I admired him for that, his ego was so high that even he didn''t notice his high ego, he just acted like it was normal.


    While I was thinking about all of this, Alex smiled. "Well, I go this way." I was left with Roselina, we were still walking, I was going to my office and she was probably going to her room because she was a royal her room was in the palace, I was quite jealous, I worked my ass off to earn my office and my home wasn''t even in the palace.


    When we turned the corner, I was suddenly pushed to the wall, It was Roselina, she held my throat and pinned me to the wall. "Don''t even think about betraying him!" Her tone was deep, almost too deep for a young woman like her, I didn''t want to die so I replied fast. "N-Never!" She let me go and I fell on the ground, I started to breathe, she mumbled.     This was the last straw, I had enough of her acting like a guard dog for her love, I set up a meeting in the woods with the elf ambassador, it was a dangerous road and because of that the road was perfect for a secret meeting like this, I rode my horse there and saw the carriage waiting for me, the driver looked at me and I looked at him, I felt like something was wrong, the driver was a human but I know for a fact that some humans supported the elves.


    I opened the carriage door and saw the ambassador''s figure in the dark carriage, the windows were closed so I couldn''t see his face, I sat next to him but again I knew something was wrong, I touched the ambassador but when I touched him, I realized that he was frozen. The carriage door closed, I tried to open it but it didn''t open, I opened the window and saw that the door was frozen from the outside.


    A Mysterious female voice scared me. "Minister Gulten, let''s have a chat." I saw a female looking at me, she was sitting right in front of me, I couldn''t believe the fact I didn''t see her. "Who are you ?" I said with a scared tone, she slowly opened the window right next to her, sunlight shed on her body, I saw a woman with long black hair, black wings, a large chest.     I knew who she was immediately. She was a dark angel but they became extinct many centuries ago but there was only one left and she was, The Crown Princess of The Empire of Elyssia, Elvisianna Their empire was founded by The Goddess Of Chaos, Elyssia. I saw a trail made of blood, it was following me, I reached for my back only to realize that there was a dagger stabbed in my back but I wasn''t feeling any pain but then I realized that, I couldn''t feel anything on my back, it must have been frozen. but there was something weird again, if my whole back was frozen how could blood drip out, my brain was shutting itself off, I slowly collapsed on the grass right next to the road, after a few seconds I heard horses coming this way, it was Elvisianna''s carriage, the carriage stopped right next to me.


    Elvisianna opened the window with a smile on her face. "Well, I can''t have you betraying Arthur, can I?" I knew my death was coming, I was a man who wanted to know everything and so I asked a question to her. "How did you stab me without me knowing ?" Elvisianna started to laugh and here I was bleeding out to death. "I just froze the part of your brain who manages pain, and the driver here stabbed you in the back when you were leaving the carriage." I laughed but blood started to come out of my mouth. "Hah¡­I see¡­.."


    And so I closed my eyes for eternity¡­..

 Chapter Four: The Traitor General

    "Wake up, my love," A sweet voice woke me up from my sleep, my eyes were still closed and I was getting poked by the owner of the sweet voice. "Come on! I prepared your breakfast."     I smiled, I was happy to see them not supporting Arthur, now I looked like a traitor to them but Arthur''s golden time was over, and I was already starting to over his lovers, Arthur and I were really close friends but I always despised him on the inside because he was a prince and a great person, even though we were equally strong, he was better than me on every other topic.     She suddenly created ice crystals and they were pointed at me, so I closed my eyes thinking I was going to die but after a few seconds I opened my eyes, I checked my body for injuries but I saw none, but then I turned to my side, the maid was dead, an ice crystal hit her head, killing her in an instant.


    "I missed, but I won''t miss again." She was really toying with me, I had to get out of this so I begged for my life. "I am sorry for the things I did back in the academy, I am really sorry." She dropped her guard, she was about to forgive me but then I fucked up again. "Arthur told me to bully you."  Chapter Five: Running To The Church

"I am sorry, I am sorry, I am sorry, I am sorry, I didn''t mean to, no!" I felt a strong wind on my back and she was gone but I wasn''t sure so I ran into the church and closed the doors.


    All of this had an impact on my heart, my heart was beating fast, I sat down on a bench and saw an old man with long straight white hair and long straight white beard, both of them were so long that his hair and beard reached the floor, that old man looked really scared for a second but when he saw me his face cheered up.  Chapter Six: End Of The Ex-Crown Prince

    That day everyone gathered around a room, the room of the great musician. My knights were preventing people to see the inside, only important people were able to get inside. We all were looking at the great musician, Kalista''s corpse. Her corpse was on the ground looking at the ceiling, she was holding her heart and the court doctor said she had a heart attack, she was an old woman but none of us expected this.


    If this were an assassination case, I would be fired from my position, so I really didn''t want to investigate, I was in a bad spot but I was feeling happy. "Why are you smiling ?" The Crown Prince Deristian was looking at me with tearful eyes and an angry face. I didn''t care about him so I ignored him and then I noticed the king smiling as well, but I knew the reason with Arthur''s love gone he was finally able to use Arthur as a political tool, I still didn''t know why I was smiling along with the king.


    "Your majesty, my knights have done an investigation and they found nothing. Shall I pick the body up?" He knew something I didn''t, maybe he was behind all of this but I really didn''t care about it and I was not going to question the king but then that brat raised his voice. "You didn''t even investigate!" He was blocking the way out, and then the king slapped him. "Arthur wasn''t stupid like you, take him to his room."


    The maids picked the shocked prince up and carried him to his room, the corpse was carried and we were the only two left in the room, he slowly came to my side. "Did you do it Roselina ?" I was surprised for a second because I thought the king did it. "I thought your majesty did it." We looked at each other for a moment, and then the king started to laugh. "Haha! She fucking died of a heart attack, what a great timing!" We both left the room, I started to go to the left side of the hallway and he went to the right, we had a distance between us, he turned around and yelled. "I can marry you to Arthur if you want." I laughed and I was about to say no but another word came out of my mouth. "I will think about it."


    I arrived at the front of Arthur''s room door, I was about to go in and deliver the news but my hand started to shake, I started to sweat. How was I going to say that his lover was dead, he was already on the edge, I didn''t want to be the one to push him over the edge, I started to waltz around the door and after five minutes I was ready, I opened the door and I didn''t see Arthur, I was relieved but I had to find him, I got out of the room and started to walk to the garden that was his favorite place in the palace. Suddenly a couple of dark knights blocked my way, I looked back, that way was blocked by them too, they were four of them, I pulled my sword. "Come at me!" But they came in from the windows, one of them kicked me back to the wall, I dropped my sword I tried to reach my sword but it was too late, there was a sword stabbing through my heart but they didn''t finish me off, they just left me to die but I had no plans of dying here, so I started to crawl.

    I couldn''t believe the fact my father hit me,  he was taking her side over her son. I wasn''t going to leave it at that, that bitch ruined my big brother and now she killed his love, I got the knife that was left from my breakfast, I opened the door and peeked outside, no one was here. I knew she would go for big brother''s room and so I went there, the door was open but no one was inside, the palace seemed too empty. It was suspicious, so I was on guard.


    I looked through the rooms and didn''t see her, I turned the corner and started to walk, something held my feet and tripped me, I suddenly turned around to see her with a sword on her chest. "What!" She closed my mouth but her hand dropped on the ground, she was almost dead. "What happened!" She smiled with blood coming out of her mouth. "Shut up and listen to me.." She coughed out blood. "You¡­are not a child¡­who are you ?" I was shocked at the fact she knew something about that. "I don''t care¡­If you are summoned or reincarnated¡­just¡­ don''t be like me¡­" She really knew something about that, I had to ask her questions. "Who are you ?" She smiled again. She looked angry maybe furious. "What! Because you are the only one who understands me, you were the only ally on my list, I was going to make you the second wife of Arthur if everything worked but you had to break his right hand, I will be taking your throat in exchange." This woman wasn''t stable, she was mad but I still felt a connection to her, she unfroze my body, the blood started to come out and then she slashed my throat with an ice sword she created.

    I wore my simple armor and my sword sheath, I went to the postal office, this town used to be a simple country, now this was the birthplace of geniuses because of The Genius Duchess.


    I opened the postal office, I was the only one working there because these geniuses also invented the pipe message system and the dragon message system, almost nobody used the royal postal service, I sat on my chair, started to wait for my newspaper. "Mister Arthurian here is your newspaper." The young boy handed my newspaper, I handed him a couple of bronze coins but these coins were becoming old too. "Mister do you have paper ?" He was talking about the new paper currency, this was also invented by The Genius Duchess. "You got your money!" The young boy left the office, I knew about the fact I was acting like a grumpy old man but I couldn''t stop myself from acting, I just felt too old in this city.

First one was about Deristian now he was the regent king, our father was getting old and sickly but he was going to take up his crown when he recovered, I knew this because it was the sixth regency and my little brother added a couple of members to his harem. I was disgusted by him but I wasn''t in the place to be disgusted with him, during my youth I also slept with other woman but I didn''t marry them or really loved them.


    The second one was about The Empire of Elyssia, now it wasn''t The Empire of Elyssia but The Noble Republic of Elyssia, eighteen years ago The Crown Princess locked herself in her room and was never seen since, she gave orders via letters and every letter had a feather from her wings this was to prove the fact she gave that order but this was exploited by the nobles, all they had to do was to remove the feather, burn the letter, write a new letter and put the feather in it and their emperor was already bedridden and died one month later with that nobles established The Noble Republic.


    The news was about some important noble in that noble republic dying, I didn''t care about that and finished reading the newspaper.


    Like every day this day was empty but every Sunday I had a special customer and today was Sunday, the doorbell made a sound, I turned to the door and saw a young woman with platinum long hair that was braided like a tail and light blue eyes just like the sea.


    I picked up my newspaper, just to look busy, she arrived at the counter. "What can I do to help you ?" I said. "Come on mister, I have been coming here for ten years." I looked over the newspaper. "Well, you should know that you are under eighteen so and if you are under eighteen you cannot get a letter from me without your parent''s signatures." She put a basket on the counter. "This is my parent''s signature."  I looked at the basket and saw a weird white thing that was in a glass. "This is the new sweet I invented, it is called Ice Cream, try it" She handed me a spoon, I took the spoon and took a bite out of that thing. "Delicious! But the letter isn''t here yet, they arrive in the afternoon." "I know" She pulled a letter from her dress, It was probably in her corset. "This letter is important please send it fast."     I was her letter friend, I went by the name "The Great King" At first I started to write to her when she was a ten year old, she was a shy and an easily scared child, a coward. Secondly, I have told you, I have been having nightmares and I was becoming more paranoid every day,  I want to thank you for helping me but yesterday I collapsed due to overwork but the doctors said they found an incurable disease in my body, they say I will be paralyzed after three months and die one year later, I don''t know what do to, please help me! ---Alycia"


    This letter wasn''t an advice asking letter, it was a cry for help letter, I started to write my response immediately.

    "Dear Alycia, I have read your letter and I have solutions to your problems like always, first about that hospital thingy, offer the hospital be built in your city, Urvia. And if he says no, just build one, yourself. Secondly your disease, I have one solution to that, if that doesn''t work I am dearly sorry, I do this to turn my white hair back to its original color and it works for me, follow my directions directly, it is simple. First, pick the most beautiful rose in your garden. Second, put the rose close to you when you are about to sleep. Third, write a letter about your wish, though I don''t do this but you should. Four you should sleep, next morning go to the doctor and get yourself checked.---The Great King"


    I instantly looked outside, it was already night. I stood up from my chair and ran to the garden to find the most beautiful rose, and I found one, it was just in front of the moonlight, I picked it up and went to my room, everyone was watching me, I must have looked weird to them, I wrote a letter and put it right next to the rose and I slept, that night I didn''t have any nightmares.


    Next day, I woke up, I looked at the table to see what happened and I realized the red rose turned dark and it was crumbling and the letter was gone, I yelled to Sebast. "Call a doctor!" After one hour every doctor in the city was around me, every one of them was invited, and they all were surprised. "This must be a miracle!" "I can''t believe it is gone" "What did you do Lady Duchess ?" They were all waiting for me to answer, I answered with a smile on my face. "I just put the most beautiful rose I had on a table and wrote my wish on a letter, now the rose has turned dark" I showed them the dark rose, but it crumbled away. After that day, the legend of the wishing rose started to spread around.
