But to save his sister and change his own destiny he will once again wonder the path of the unrivaled and revered expert of the world of virtual reality. Chapter 0: Prologue January 31st, 2036. A whole year after the launch of the international gaming phenomenon ''Paragon''. Isaac slowly shed a tear which may have been from fury, but no one will ever know except for himself. He was located in USA, New York. A place which was supposed to shine brighter than even the brightest of stars! Yet, with what he could see with his closing eyes was a nighttime which could even make the darkestcreatureslight up like a pair of bright jewels. With a slow droop of his head, he could only sigh at such an outcome. Cursing in his head, he said "Fuck... Such a fucking noob is gonna end my life." But who was he calling a noob? The person who was coming towards him was one of the top players in all of Paragon! The guild leader of the widely acknowledged number 3 guild in the world ''Infamous''! A godly existence who was famously known in the game forhis level of expertise as the character ''Flame''! Boom! Nothing could be said when Isaac slowly fell towards the ground. His life was thoroughly ended! Even with the godliest of doctors, he would only be able to lower his head in shame towards such a grave injury. However, even with all this pain and one foot in the grave he still managed to fire off his gun and blow his enemy''s head to mere dust! Yet even with the death of both parties, what remained was still an irreconcilablerelationship which they would even take to battlein their next lives! If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. He could only mutter these final words with clenched teeth, "if I even had a fraction of the time you had to develop yourself in this game... Even the best player would only be able to lower his head in total submission towards me!" Boom! ZzzzZzz,CRACK! Was this the sound of his life ending? No way! A human''s skill which could be comparable to a god would fall down to such an insignificant figure? That would be truly laughable, that even the gods would feel pity. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH! No shit his life could not be ended in such a terrible way. No, it would be more accurate to say that ''the him'' from that timeline did end! Because what entered his eyes was not an afterlife such as heaven, but it was the world which existed a year before the launch of Paragon! Chapter 1: Back to the Past Isaac''s consciousness gently awakened after what seemed like a meresecond of time. What?... Am I not dead? Furthermore, the pain is gone... Instantaneously, after what seemed like a mere heart beats worth of time his deep obsidian eyes gradually revealed itself. Yet, not even a mere second had passed before he went into action. Not even allowing a single moment for his eyes toadjust to the light his brain instantlyset into motion, at a speed of much more of what a person''s normal brain capacity could handle, he instantly assessed all the possiblesituations that he could possibly be in. He was not ignorant. He was someone who even the gods would be jealous of. With a single glance, he could see that he was not in his old world. Or to be precise, he wasn''t currently subsiding in the year of 2036. The year which changed the order of things in not only the virtual world of Paragon, but also the real world. Without a doubt, he instantly knew that the time and place he was currently in was before the launch of Paragon. Oddly enough though even a genius would have its limits. How could it be possible that he managed to assessthe time and place he was inat a pace which was even less than a half a second! That would simply be unheard of! It was simple. Together with his incredible mind combined with the sight of his sister who was sitting across from him, he could easily determine that this was before the launch of Paragon. After a single moment of nostalgia, he instantly knewthat he had come back to the past. Calmly assessing his surroundings at superhuman speeds, he managed to determine that the place he currently subsided in was his old home, a place which he grew up in for 15 whole years with his beloved sister. A place which he couldn''t forget even if he wanted to.Help support creative writers by finding and reading their stories on the original site. Yet oddly enough before even the space of another breath, he continued to assess the situation! This showed his exceedingly great mindbecause even after just experiencing the pain of death itself he didn''t even allow himself a hair''s breadth worth of time to control his emotions! Just what kind of a monster was this!? He continued to operate at a speed which would make even the top geniuses cry, but amongst all this, it could be heard that he very quietly muttered to himself at a volume that only he himself could hear, "Fuck... The current year is definitely 2035, however the exact day I am not too sure about but it is definitely in the month of January!" Just these few words alone were enough to make it obvious that Isaac did not have any electronics. Otherwise, he could simply whip out whatever it may be, possibly an iPad and check the date. He found out the current time that he was in by simply glancing at the small poster outside their 17th-floor building which announced an event where the date of the event was 23/01/35! Not regarding whether the poster may be old because it definitely wouldn''t be too far overdue because the city he was currently in was New York! People weren''t that slack here to not even take off a poster which was possibly weeks old! But just with this, he knew that the launch of Paragon was near, and the gear would without a doubt be being sold! But disregarding the validity of this poster and when Paragon will be released, it has to be made clear that they were in a 17th-floor building nearly a hundred metres into the air and the font size on the poster was definitely minuscule! Just what kind of godly eyesight was this!? But looking across the table he finally tuned back to the sounds of the mortal world, and could once against hear the very distinct sound of thousands of cars whistling around. "Ah! Isaac, what is wrong with you today? Listen to me!" A cute voice could be heard across the table from him and the very sister which he died trying to save came into his line of sight. Before when he saw his sister he had not let his mind run wild as he was just a few seconds ago still in a terrible situation, and still had to properly assess the situation. Yet, such was the abilities of a genius. One who was capable to think of what is the most important at a time of mayhem. Because without him, how could his sister possibly be saved? But now that he knew he was safe, his mind finally collapsed. As he finally let his emotions run wild. Chapter 2: Oh, how I missed you. All that could be seen at that single moment was a pair of deep obsidian eyes that seemed to be crafted out of the world''s finest two stones of pristine onyx.Truly capable of destroying cities and consuming countries. So charming that even she as his very own sister was consumed by such a sight, in her lifetime she certainly knew that her brother was charming but it was never to such an extent. She had never seen her brother''s dark eyes ever have so much light in them, eyes that were so alluring that one single gaze made it seem like he could see through the very depths of her body and soul. Embraced with such a gaze she could only shy away embarrassingly and sink deeper into her chair. Yet, he still said nothing. Almost as if he was fawningly looking at the world''s finest piece of jade. His eyes gradually became moist, but as a man who seemed to be the reincarnate of God himself he only let out a single tear. But this itself was an event! As far as she could recall her brother had only ever cried once! Also, at that time it was at the time of their grandmother''s death! Yet, during that event, he only ever let out a single tear before once again assuming the pair of enchanting deep black eyes which seemed like a bottomless well! Was this really her brother? Why would he cry to seemingly nothing!? But by all means, no matter how many years she had to think, she would never think that her cold brother which seemed like an incarnate of the devilishlycharming Satan would cry from the mere sight of her. So, at this current time, she could only say... "Brother! Lets quickly get the dust out of your eyes!" Yet instead of agreeing with her like any normal person at that time would, and attempt to take advantage of that scenario in order to avoid embarrassment. He simply did not do so or even attempt such an insignificant action. This is because how could Isaac possibly be considered normal? After what seemed like a millennium of time spent waiting he only casually responded with...Support the creativity of authors by visiting the original site for this novel and more. "I was crying from the very sight of you." BOOM! CRACK! She instantly froze, almost as if she became the worlds hardest piece of ice which could be praised to be the most realistic ice sculpture to ever be created by even the best of sculptors. She inwardly thought, "Am I that unpleasing to the eyes that I could even make my cold brother cry from the mere sight of me!?" But she secretly knew that even though her brother was cold on the outside that he still definitely loved her deeply in the inside. But that thought only passed by for a mere second before instantly fading away because even the ugliest of ladies could not bear to have their looks shamed! So she instantly returned to that line of thinking and pondered to herself "I certainly am not the most beautiful out of all the young ladies, but I could definitely be considered as above average in the looks department!" She came to this scenario all because of the few words said by her brother! Because, no matter how much she tried to think, she wouldn''t have thought that her brother who was never ever emotional cried because of how much he missed her, andhow that clumsy yet loving appearance of his own sister could cause him to shed a tear. But no matter how much her brother was praised to be an unparalleled genius and how he was loved by thousands, she simply could not let him off! Because a girl''s looks were the bottom line that could never be touched! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH! She sent a slap which seemingly could destroy worlds straight towards her beloved brother! However obviously how could he be caught by such an action? He was a man who was seemingly untainted by the mortal world and simply caught her wrist with ease and simply replied with. "That is not what I meant, but let us go for a walk my beloved Emily, for I need to buy the brand new sensation in the worldknown as Paragon." Grasping his cute sister''s still trembling jade-like hand with his own, he thought to himself and smiled. "All of you will pay for messing with me." Chapter 3: I am Broken! Emily felt no pain when her brother instantly grabbed her hand to bring her along, instead, it was odd as she felt absolutely nothing at all. Yet somehow she still couldn''t even move an inch, It was almost as if her hand wasn''t being held at all, yet her hand was as unmovable as Mt Everest itself. Just what kind of a grip did her brother have!? Seemingly weak, yet unbreakable! To such a situation she could only lower her head and obediently follow along. "Fine but I want one too!" It was almostas if she instantly forgotabout the insultpreviously due to a few simple words from her brother. What kind of charisma was this! It was simply too unordinary! How could a few words have such an effect!? Of course, there was no problem to buying another set of ''WorldGear'', which was the gear required to play Paragon. They were a very wealthy family, so a mere 200 dollars to buy the WorldGear was not a problem. Yet this pair of brother-sister siblings shared almost no relationship with their parents, seemingly they were only connected by blood yet nothing else. They barely came home and only left them a card with the pin which held an unknown amount of money each time they departed. It was odd as they did not even know what their parents did for a living, as such this pair of brother and sister could only rely on each other as they grew up for the entirety of their life except obviously during infancy. Isaac at this current time was a recent high school graduate who graduated just a month ago. He was 18 as of the 1st of January 2035, and he barely ever attended school during his high school years. His sister was aged 17 and was in her last year of high school, she was praised highly as an excellent-scholar at a top school and her lifetime dream was to be a doctor. However, with a 18-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl being this close it would be odd if others didn''t get the wrong idea! But for them, it was not unusual in the slightest, due to the fact that when growing up from childhood to now they only had each other to depend upon. He was not the type to tease someone, even when facing his especially cute sister. He was not obnoxious at all even with all the power. He simply noddedand replied with a single word in a calm yet charming voice. "Sure." ........................ One hour later...... Inside the store. He had finally arrived at the store which sold the very latest model of ''WorldGear''. Surprisingly enough, throughout this whole time, Isaac still did not know the exact date. It was not because he couldn''t find out, but that he simply did not see the need to at this current time. For the only thing mattered to him was his sister''s well-being and getting the World Gear before it officially launched. Only now did he finally know that the day he was reborn into was the 30th of January 2035! Just one day before the official launch of the new gaming sensation Paragon! He realized this when he looked at the digital clock within the shop. He only muttered to himself, "it seems to me that poster was a week overdue, very odd for a city like New York." However, such aminor issue could not affect a man such as himself. He only cared about getting the WorldGear before Paragon fully launched, and thus allowing himself the power to protect his sister. Other issues were truly small in comparisonto such. Yet, now that he knew it was the day before the launch of Paragon he was truly surprised. Furthermore, he was surprised once again after he grabbed the two sets of WorldGearand had a glance at the line of the shop. "Isn''t this line a little too small?" Even though there were now hundreds of stores selling copies for ''WorldGear''. It was still a technology which had billions of players in the future, isn''t the roughly five people in front of him lining up in front of him a little too small? It was only a day before the launch of Paragon... Shouldn''t the store be bustling with people? Yet what was even more surprising was that only 2 out of the five people in front of them were lining up to buy WorldGear. He asked his sister why there were so few people buying WorldGear, she only responded with a brief shake of her head to indicate that she too did not know. They were truly not informed of such worldly matters, they often did not associate themselves with too many people and only ever had brief conversations away from the world of technology. The only time Isaac ever touched a piece of technology was a few years ago on the very first full-dive virtual reality game to ever be released which was known as ''Legends'', as he was truly interested in what all this fuss was about. However, he still did not realize that when he played Legends he created such a storm on the issue of who owned this legendary character known as ''NotOP''!? As he merely played it in his spare-time which was not often. Yet after a while, he found it too boring as it had no real challenges and he thus quit the game right after. Emily only looked at his brother for a short while when she was answering his question before once again shyly looking away. She from a 3rd person perspective was instead not too far apart even when compared to her godly brother. She was humble despite her overwhelming talents in literature and even had a breath-taking beauty which seemed like God''s masterpiece. Slender jade-like legs, very defining womanly curves which were further accented by her tight aqua dress, with a little cute nose, cherry-like lips and a pair of brightblue eyes like cerulean pools. But even with such talents and looks she only ever considered herself to be above average, it was truly odd.Did you know this story is from Royal Road? Eventually, they also joined the line and reached the very front after a few minutes which was spent grabbing what they needed which was essentially only the 2 sets of WorldGear. "Hello, how can I help you?" The above-average looking lady kindly asked the man in the gray hoodie which covered most of his face, who was of course Isaac. Oddly enough, Isaac was still not fully alert of his surroundings which had never once happened in his life. He was the perceptive and alert type. This could be due to the fact that he was still too immersed in his sister''s lovely appearance, he had not seen her for a whole year after their separation due to his sister''s crazed lover. This was truly a lifetimes worth of separation. For they had spent almost every single day in each other''s company to only suddenly be torn away from each other, it could be seen to most people as unbearable. Like taking a pet dog for a walk every day, only to suddenly discover for its lovely energetic self to be gone the next day and back into the stream of life to be reincarnated. It was a change too big to bear and it was much too sudden with no warning. So he had not yet fully gotten used to this kind of life again. "Sir! Hello?" The lady once again called out. Only to discover the man to be looking straight at her yet not even responding. "Sigh, could it be that he''s never seen a beautiful young lady before and was mesmerized in my appearance?! I get that he probably has to wear a hoodie as he''s too shy in his looks but there should be a limit right?" His sister gently called out to him in an enchanting voice and oddly discovered that he still did not respond. "Isaac?" ... ... ... ... ... ... .... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... "Sorry miss, I''ll handle it," as Emily gently took the card out of her purse and handed it to the lady. Only now did the lady behind the counter discover that the girl next to the man in the hoodie was a beauty which could send cities and countries to war to fight over her hand. She even had the sudden thought that could this girl be that man''s girlfriend? No way! It would be like finding the finest piece of jade in a piece of cow dung it could not be possible! But the lady suddenly had a scary thought... Unless... Could it be? She tried to take a clear look at the young man''s face which hid inside the hoodie. What she suddenly saw was the gaze of a pair of deep endless black eyes which seemed to hide a whole other world inside. She could now distinctly tell that beneath the hoodie of the man hid his ever so defining handsome features that seemed almost like a face which could only be found in fairy tales! A face which should not be able to be seen on the face of a human! She froze, she was thoroughly lovestruck with her mouth even wide open. 25 years of age, yet acting like a little girl who just found her first love. But could it be blamed on her or was what she saw something that should not be able to exist in the mortal world? Beep! Transaction complete! Emily kindly said to the lady behind the counter, "Thanks miss we''ll be off now!". She also took the chance to ask the lady of a question her brother had just asked her. "Hey, how come there is hardly anyone buying WorldGear this afternoon?" Oddly enough, she did not respond for a while as she was still in a love-struck state for a few more moments until finally returning back to the real world from her dream-like state. "Oh, sorry! It''s probably because the WorldGear has already been selling for 3 months in preparation for the official launch tonight at 9 pm! As such many would have already bought their set of WorldGear." Emily responded with a enlightened expression and kindly said, "Okay! Thank you miss, I see." After that brief exchange of words, Emily and Isaac turned around unable to see the ladies still enchanted expression and under a barely audible volume, it could be heard that she muttered... "A god! It has to be..." On their way back Emily was highly shocked at his brother''s actions. She knew that her brother was definitely not the shy type nor the type to be condescending and ignore another one''s kind words. Yet, she still said nothing about his brother''s extremely odd actions just then and simply allowed him to carry the two pieces of WorldGear back to their homely abode in a refreshing moment of silence. She knew that something may have disturbed her normally perfect brother, but instead she chose not to invade his privacy as she knew that he would get better soon, and she was rather pleased to no longer see her brother''s lifeless face but a face that had a trace of a brief yet lovely smile. One hour later ......... ................................. "Finally we''re back home!" Emily loudly exclaimed in a pleased voice. "Mhmm," responded Isaac who was clearly in a good mood which is very hard to come by. "Hey, Isaac I have to go to study for my exams next week, so don''t bother waiting for me to join you when the game launches!" Emily sweetly called out to his brother as she encased herself in her room. After 4 more hours of what seemed like an eternity, Isaac finally opened his eyes and had a graceful smile, "Finally it is time!" Tick! It struck 9 pm and Isaac called out... "LAUNCH!" ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM The domineering voice of a system''s AI could be heard from within the virtual world. "Choose your character''s name! Because of the fact that you are from America region only english characters are permitted. The name cannot be shorter than one character, yet it cannot surpass fifteen characters either. " Isaac casually responded with, "NotOP!" "Error! The name is already taken! Select another!" Odd... Even in the previous game, which was known as Legends which had millions of players the name was still not taken. He had even joined the game a few days late compared to others. This surprised him deeply. Currently, not even a mere second had passed before the game officially launched and his name had already been taken. Yet, little did he know elsewhere some poor little minor character was celebrating at taking a legends name and was ready to throw a massive party to celebrate. But instead of fretting over such a minor issue, he simply called out... "Broken!" "The character name was chosen!" "Choose your race! You may choose out of Elf, Human and Orc." "Human!" He did not even take a moment to think about an answer for such a question, he was a human so he would simply choose human. Successful! Character Made! Enjoy your stay in Paragon! ................. Welcome, ''Broken!'' You are currently the 19,237th person to connect to Paragon! Chapter 4: Not Broken. 9:01 PM, he had once again stepped into the world of Paragon. But, in NPC terms this place was known as the "Sky Kingdom." However, this was currently not of importance. Instantly upon entrance, there were two messages placed in front of him in bold words, but that was not of importance as he already knew what it had asked. Instead the first thing he did was to naturally look at himself, he had to know if he had received a bow or a sword. This was the key factor in determining where he would go to train in the next few moments. Because he had kept the knowledge from his previous life, he naturally knew that when players first joined they would either receive a bow or a sword without the choice. It could be seen that he was wearing a set of leather gear, alongside with him holding a short copper sword. After he knew that he received asword, he smiled and then mumbled to himself. ¡°Open skill book¡¡± Beginner Skills: Insight: See into the monster¡¯s weak points enabling you to easily attack. He sighed to himself, ¡°Sigh, I am already bored, but such must be done.¡± --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After confirming the most crucial factors were set, he lifted his head and stared at the world in an emotionless manner. What permeated his eyes was no longer the modern world which showcased the most prime example of human greed. But rather a land of fantasy. One which promoted the most beautiful of dreams. Even he could not help getting sucked into such a sight, what lied beyond the plain dull wooden huts was a boundless multi-colored sky glimmering with radiance, an endless expanse of lush grass which were the most perfect shade of green, ponds which were of the finest blue, basking in such a sight he had forgotten the world he was currently in was a virtual one, but he had instead felt like he had entered an illusory world. He had not realized the design Paragon was so beautiful in his previous life. As he was in a battle for time and thus had not even taken the time to even take one peek at such a fantastic view. This is because, at that time, he was actually blind in a sense. As during the time when he lost his sister, his eyes had viewed the world as a colorless sphere. One devoid of emotion, yet it held a colorful light, which was naturally his sister. During that time, he had actually lost himself, he had lost his careful yet meticulous planning due to his rush of fury in search of his only color and light in such a gray world. But now that she had returned, he was truly full again. He was once again the genius who defied the heavens, one who could see through the shallow framework of cruel human minds with a single glance of his calm yet fiery, endless obsidian eyes. The only thought he had before at that time was to save his sister from the trenches of human greed. A greed which wanted to conquer all beautiful things in the world. But now, such a scenario was in the past. He would definitely not let such a situation play out again. Rather, the only way it could even happen again is if he has an unlucky encounter and loses all his brain cells, but such a thing is not very likely. At least, he would like to think. He sighed at the thought of having to leave his name from his last life behind, but such must be done in order to destroy without care. This is because if his real-life identity was discovered his loved ones would truly beimplicatedas even if he could not be harmed he could not guarantee this for his loved ones. As even a god could be broken if his reason to exist was destroyed. Isaac''s reason to exist was naturally his sister''s smile, one which he would protectand take to his grave. Isaac''s previous in-game name in his last life where he had only joined the game 1 year late was named ''Emaac'', accompanied by a spam of numbers as nearly all the available names had been taken. This name was a creation forged by the starting letters of his beloved sisters Emily''s name, followed by the last three characters of his name. However, in this life, he wanted to create a path where he, and only he, would be the unparalleled god in this virtual world. Only then could he safely protect his dear sister and those around him. Naturally, he knew that for someone to be able to advance to the stage of being an unbeatable expert, he had to not only be unparalleled in the game but they must also stay safe and healthy in the real world. Thus, he could not have any hints that hinted that the soon to be number 1 player of Paragon was him, Isaac Arthur. In fear of advances upon either his life or his sister''s before he was allowed to grow. This was because even if a sampling had the best genes, the best talents, to be able to grow into a behemoth capable of overshadowing millions they would require time. Yes! Time! Something which is essential to even those with the best talents, as without time they would only fall to the dark, lamentable terminal ofa blessed individual who ultimately ended as a nobody. So, when Isaac was choosing his name in his current life he would absolutely choose a name which had no relations to his real-life identity. However, although he was someone who was seemingly above the realm of mere humans he still could not help to think to himself as to why his previous in-game name was taken in just a matter of seconds after the official launch of Paragon. This is because he had only assumed that the name ''NotOP'' was taken in his past life due to the fact that the game had already been up for a whole year, with a shocking number of over nearly three billion players, it would be odd if at that time the name was still available. But,now that he saw that someone had taken the extremely unorthodox name of ''NotOP'' only moments after the official launch, he naturally that something was up. Thus, after only mere moments after using his monstrous mind to think of why such a scenario came to be, he had instantly come to the realization after only a mere heartbeat''s worth of time as to why his name had been taken. It had to bebecause that he had created a massive storm on ''Legends'' and became known as a godly player, he was one who simply joined in to see what all the chaos was about it was quite natural for him to not realise what he had done during his time spent playing ''Legends''. He, at that time, had actually turned all notifications off so thus he did not receive any messages or requests from other players. It was almost as if he was playing single-player ''Minecraft'' simply killing sheep and pigs as it was truly too easy for him. Such was the reason why he did not believe to of created such a fuss as he had actually boldly assumed that others would have also found such a game to be easy.Did you know this story is from Royal Road? Read the official version for free and support the author. But this was obviously not the case, as such Isaac now instantly knew that he had praised the ordinary people too highly. Such a thing shouldn''t happen with Isaac''s abilities, but even gods can make mistakes as he inwardly laughed to himself. "Hehe, they really are noobs." ---------------------- That whole event seemed to be able to take up minutes of one''s time, but how could Isaac''s mind be compared to ordinary people? That had all happened within mere seconds in real time, and such after discovering the answers to the problem that arose in his brain he was once again settled. He had been troubled for a minute due to such problems, and that minute was far too long. Thus, in reality, the time wasted was minuscule, to say the least. Isaac once again stepped back into the mortal world, thus he began to take in the sounds/features of his surroundings. This was the 2nd message, but even he was not sure of what it would state as he had entered the world of Paragon at a completely different point of time. He had now noticed that in front of him it clearly stated that, System notification: You are the 93rd person to enter ''Beginner Village 239.'' Have a pleasant stay. Isaac instantly knew that something was odd. He was rather shocked if that was a better way to put it. He was naturally a perceptive person. Such a message may slip past an ordinary person''s eyes but it surely could not pass by Isaac. Almost spontaneously he instantly set off and ignored all the beginner training grounds, this is because he instantly knew that although it may be faster to train here for the time being such a luxury would certainly not last long. He instantly thought to himself in a calm manner. "Without a doubt, billions of players would be trying to connect right now, they are probably constantly getting the error message of ''Character name is already taken!'' " This was naturally the first idea that came up in Isaac''s head. This was a game which was being advertised for months all for this single moment, and over a billion machines were already sold, yet surprisingly enough not even twenty thousand players had connected to the server at this current time. This was obviously because of the fact that with so many players trying to connect, only so many names would be available! Such a fact could obviously not escape Isaac''s eyes. Thus, if he did not take advantage of such a situation he was truly not worthy of being praised as a heavenly genius. Thinking of such a funny scenario of billions of people struggling to find/think of a name he naturally gave a light chuckle. "Sigh, all these noobs are probably trying to think of the coolest names they can think of only to find out the name is not available. So, at-least for the next few minutes not many players will have connected to the game." Obviously, Isaac himself knew that he was lucky to choose such a name. He was definitely not ignorant and slowly praised his luck. He knew for sure that all of the normal five-letter names and beneath would have already been taken, along with many others, yet he managed to choose one perfectly on only his second try. This was clearly the gods favoring him! He was already an expert among experts yet fortune still shines upon him on every corner! This was obviouslyunfair, it would be better to say that such a personwas definitely broken! But with Isaac''s mental ability who even the gods would bow down to, he instantly knew that if he stayed around any longer doing nothing for even a second longer this god given opportunity would be wasted. He even secretly giggled to himself as he thought of all the leaders of the top guilds inwardly cursing themselves trying to find a suitable name. This was obviously a problem as in his previous life he knew that the top playerof Paragon who even lead millions underneath himand carried a symbol proudly on their chests which symbolized they were from ''Experts United!'' This was the top guild at that time by a long run, even the 2nd and 3rd guild combined could not defeat the single unit known as Experts United. But what''s more the top player was the guild leader of Experts United but he had to carry the atrocious name of ''Expert132567''! Such a godly existence had to settle for such a name, it obviously showed how long he took to fight for a name and had to finally settle for a mediocre one. Thus, in a mere instant, he set into action not another second could be wasted. He completely ignored the people around him who were talking to each other of how realistic this game was. immersed himself into becoming the best player in Paragon. He has fully immersed himself into becoming the best player in Paragon. Striding across the iron walkway he gradually came ever so closer to the mouth of a dark domineering forest. Above the forest, a clear warning signcould be seen as if to signal that no players should even think about entering in the first few moments of the game. Obviously, Isaac was not deterred, hetranquillystared at the warning sign and casually walked into the broad portal that wished him away. As if to him that sign was not signalling an ordeal but rather simply a decoration akin to a painting. SIGN - [Warning; Dungeon of the Undead Cemetery, one should be at least level 5 otherwise death is highly likely]. For him entering such a ground was just simply not unnerving. How could such a low-level ground possibly hinder him? It was almost as if the place he was entering was not a ghastly cemetery of hell to all new players, but rather the serene environment of a monk¡¯s temple. From behind him, it could be heard... "Hey! Hey! What the fuck is that idiot doing, does he not see that warning sign? He is obviously retarded." A player who seemingly just appeared out of nowhere replied with a casual smirk, "lul, let him do what he wants noob713643, nice name btw especially the first 4 letters it suits you.¡± The player who just broadly cussed at the man who was seemingly looking for death could only turn red under such circumstances. It was truly not his fault, it was simply because every name was taken. He had felt that if he had wasted another second attempting to choose a proper name then all the names in the world will have been taken, and he would have wasted a millennium of trying to attempt every possible name in the books. By then he naturally believed that every name would have been gone. He had literally even said every name possible that he simply shouted out a name as the last cause as a joke. Thus, this was how it led to him having the current name ''noob713643'', and after he had connected he was simply unable to change his name. It had been thoroughly settled. His name would forever be ''noob713643'' for all ofParagon. Paragon was definite. Any race and name chosen would forever be integrated into its coding. Hence, the legend which our Isaac would create in Paragon would forever be remembered under the flag ''Broken.'' This was simply unchangeable, players will remember Broken for generations to come, however, the identity of Isaac will slowly fade into nothingness. But, this he did not care. All the fame and riches in the world could not buy the services of Isaac. He joined once again only because he wanted to save his sister. Nothing else, nothing more. -------------------------------------- It could be heard from within the depths of the cemetery. "Sigh, killing these skeletons again this is really too nostalgic." Within this span of thousands of miles which held the faint smell of moss and decaying leaves, what was seen was a rather horrific sight. Amongst the tumbled and broken tombstones, a faint black figure could be seen gracefully dancing within the dungeon constantly avoiding the countless of arrows which flew towards him with only the slightest adjustments. These attacks were naturally directed towards Isaac, as he was the only player to step into such a training ground at level 1. This was the key reason as to why he entered a training ground which hadsuch a level difference between him and the monster, it was because this was a training ground where you could avoid all attacks with skill alone. It would truly be stupid not to grasp such an opportunity. In Paragon to kill a monster one level higher than yourself meant that you possessed godly items, and coupled alongside with tremendous skill. Thus, naturally the rewards were great, there would be an extra 100% increase in experience given for every level difference between the monster and the player. Anyone who could accomplish such a feat were greatly sought after. During his previous life when Paragon was at the prime of its existence the best player could only overcome 3 levels between himself and a monster, and he was already praised as a heavenly figure. But, in this empty graveyard it could be seen that Isaac was killing a monster which was 4 levels different from him with complete ease! This meant that without a doubt with the extra experienced garnered by the level difference between himself and the monster he would surely shoot to the top of the rankings in mere moments if nothing went wrong. But, even for godly players, such an outcome was bound to happen. This is because even though the monsters could be killed away by chipping away at its HP with meagre attacks, one would struggle for ages bordering on life and death at every junction struggling to kill even one monster which was just 1 level higher within a whole day! It is likely that they won¡¯t even manage to kill even one unless they had heaven-shattering skills and top-tier items. Such an outcome was obvious, Paragon was a game which highly depended on one¡¯s skill. Even when fighting a monster with just one level of difference one of its casual attacks could easily cut down half of your HP in a mere second. Which is why trying to overcome the two-level gap between a monster and a player without any godly equipment would simply by akin to a lowly-rabbit seeking death from a tiger. Because one simple attack from the monster would instantly kill the player and cause the player to plummet down a whole level back to 0% of experience! However, here even one with eyes could see that what Isaac was accomplishing was not something achievable by a mere mortal! Such skills seem like they were tempered for an infinity of time, not something which was attainable by a mere 18-year-old youth. Even combined with his life¡¯s previous experience It would still only add to 19 years of time, this boy was simply not human¡ Isaac¡¯s fierce obsidian eyes glistened under the moonlight glare, glimmering full of radiance, truly capable of entrancing the world. He had already dodged thousands of attacks and been focusing his attack on a single skeleton, he had in just a minute¡¯s worth of time cut down its HP to 30 HP of its original 500 HP. A skeleton¡¯s HP was not high, but it was still countless of times higher than a normal level 1 monster¡ Keep in mind a normal player would not even be able to survive under such conditions for a mere second, so, in truth the game developers truly did not imagine that this training ground would be game-breaking for a certain individual. The basic attack system did not have a cooldown, thus, the speed of a player attacking would completely depend on one¡¯s skill. He was cutting down at the skeleton at a speed faster than a sewing machine chopping down on fabric, red numbers could be seen popping up above the skeleton alongside with the frequent misses. 6! MISS! 7! 7! MISS! 7! Then finally, another number appeared above the skeletons head which was ¡®8!¡¯, the skeleton had thoroughly collapsed never to stand up again. Ding!
