《The Plan》 0 Champion - Lukus In the physical realm, there is a gigantic circular island; spanning 350,000 miles wide. In the dead center, there is a large tree, holding a massive mystical gem in it¡¯s trunk. The worshiped tree was given the name Yggdrasil, but it was originally an overgrown yew. When a soul is reborn part of the soul is peeled, and when there are high levels of soul fragments a mystical gem forms naturally. A soul devouring parasite was inside a small animal when it was on the overgrown yew. The animal fell into a small hole and was dying while the tree absorbed it. There the tree became Yggdrasil. All life within the field of influence of the mystical gem is given mystic powers. As people live, their soul grows; when you die your soul goes to the spiritual plane, after losing a portion of itself. When souls are born, they are given random traits. Lukus, God of Champions; was titled as the strongest warrior. He has been living for 20 years now, and gathered power quickly for having an affinity to the mystical powers on the island. The subjugation of monsters on the island reunited the island whole again. It¡¯s been a year since the eradication of the monsters from the island. While at a party on the anniversary of victory our hero was in a corner drinking, watching everyone enjoying themselves. He was more than just a little tipsy so he started to walk home, then it all changed. He felt a monster below him, so he decided to jump in the sewers to check it out. After a minute of clumsy running, he was expecting to see a monster, however what he saw was a small child missing a leg and covered in blood crying. He didn¡¯t know that monsters had children let alone could cry, he¡¯s always jumped in only when there was a monster that was too strong for his comrades, and never participated with the subjugation of the weaker monsters. A little child crawling through the sewers, started to bawl when their eyes linked with Lukus, and the child knew he was the champion. The man then peirced the child through the chest bare handed. The only difference between this child and a human child was the small horns that grew on it¡¯s head; it looked like they had someone file their horns to stay hidden. He was confused, he was always under the impression that monsters were not humans, maybe this child was half human? This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. ¡°Are half humans monsters?¡± This thought he had confused him. ¡°missing 1% human is a monster!¡± This voice surprised Lukus, not expecting a reply to a thought he had. ¡°But... They have human thought, right?¡± The man walked up to him, attempting to stab lukus with a knife. Lukus, even while drunk, was the God of Champions. He deflected the deadly stab, however he got scratched on the hand. ¡°We don¡¯t need a champion anymore, all the strong monsters are dead.¡± The assailant smurked. ¡°And you think you can defeat the Champion?¡± ¡°Already did.¡± Lukus felt his hand going numb, and mustered strength to rip his own fore arm off. He grabbed the assailant¡¯s face, and smashed him into the wall. He left the sewers and saw hundreds of soldiers with bows. ¡°Fuck.¡± ??? ¡°Sir, we uh, found Lukus the God of Champions dead this morning... And He uh, was killed with what appears to be a single arrow. There is 8000 dead civilians, 5600 dead soldiers, 30 dead royal knights, and¡ Support General Rivet Larkson died.¡± The man didn¡¯t have a smile on his face, and he didn¡¯t expect to have this many losses. ¡°This victory was worth it... And uh, the champion wasn¡¯t integrating with society... This wasn¡¯t a risk we ought to allow, hmm?¡± ------------------- 0.1 Champion - Lukus - Memories A cloud of mist was hovering over the body of the previous champion. This cloud was confused while staring at what it preceived as it self. "Am I dead?" The cloud knew and could remember the events leading up to it''s death. In a daze it started to recall the events that had lead up to the events before it''s death, starting from the very beginning. On this continent, mystical power affinity scales with the understanding of combat related fields; the champion spent his entire life since childhood training. He was trained as an assassin since 5 years old. After 5 years, the facility that he lived at was destroyed, and many of the other children died. At the time, he was one of the only children that wasn''t at the facility, but being escorted to show off the facilities abilities to some clients. The two escorts were surrounded by one of the governors platoons. The governor was a noble lord of this valley. When they found out the escorts were leading a child they captured that one alive, and killed the two trained escorts. For the next 10 years he was a soldier given to the emperor''s army. At first he was a mindless warrior, but soon valued all the other soldiers as comrades in arms. He was told that he would be given citizenship if he continued to help unify the kingdoms under the emperor''s name. He didn''t care whether he killed humans or monsters, but after the human kingdoms were united under the emperor, and the battle between the humans and non-humans started many of the green horns didn''t have the same mindset. Humans were justice. "I was at the anniversary celebration for the unity of Yggdrasil island." Yes, thought the mist. The event he should have been very proud of was what he was thinking about, but... "Why do I feel like I wasn''t proud?" Many questions the cloud had, but with no answers he felt depressed enough maybe... His thoughts stopped... He often had thoughts of suicide when he was still alive. Thinking back to the child in the sewer, "Why are monsters the enemy of humans? I originally thought humans were the enemy of everything including other humans, but one day it stopped. When there were no more human enemies... Instead of killing human combatants, we probably started the annihilation of non-combatants of non-humans... What is it that I feel so unsatisfied with..."If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. The area we perceive in our life consists of more than just the physical world we walk through. All life consists of a physical part and a link to somewhere else other than the physical world. We call this link a soul. When the physical body dies, the soul becomes disconnected from it. Almost everything in the physical realm has one or more links attached to it. When the physical body dies, the link related to life is disconnected. The soul ¡°link¡± is a fragment of the soul used to connect the soul realm to the physical one. Lukus¡¯s soul wasn¡¯t anything you would scuff at. The soul realm is a very hectic place, energy is constantly being generated out of nothingness, as well as energy being erased. Souls can attack smaller souls, especially the newly generated ones. If you connect to the physical realm you become immune from being consumed by others. Many of the smaller souls that are generated immediately connect to the physical realm, and become the insects and plants that are countless. If you consume freshly killed physical objects that had their souls recently disconnected from the physical realm, you can absorb a percentage of the soul link based on the degradation stage the link is in. *ping* A sound was heard in the soul''s consciousness.

Souls can only spend their power on wishes from the depth of it¡¯s soul. When Lukus died, he wished that he could try again from the depth of his soul and heart. He wanted to make amends, not everything different is a monster. Well, Lukus was reborn. On this bountiful island, hidden under another, inside a small pocket. The inhabitants know nothing of the island above, seeing the ceiling as the limit for their own cage. The island gleams and flourishes with different energies. The island is round, with a diameter of 20 miles. There sits a single town, Town of Blu, on the miniature island of Blu. 1 Blu - Rhav - Bridge it to completion The town of Blu, a moderately large town on this bountiful island, hidden under another, inside a small pocket. The inhabitants know nothing of the island above, seeing the ceiling as the limit for their own cage. The island gleams and flourishes with magical and mystical energies; one from it self and the other from above respectfully. The island is Rhombus or trapezoid shaped, and has a diameter of 20 miles from edge to edge. Other than the single townyou can count the neiboring villages, camps, and settlements on a single hand, numbering4. The people of this island are blessed with two magical crystals on the island. Magical powers can be inherited, and the magical crystal with it''s energy mutates the magical abilities of residents over many generations. Essentially, children can share a percentage of power from their parents plus what they absorb over their life time. This means magical powers could increase from just selective breeding, however magical powers have to be awakened for larger dormant powers which can lead to weakening of powers to offspring as well. One of the Magical Crystals has a temple and the crystal gives off an aura that isn''t conductive for life, but has a fire and mind affinity. The second of the magical crystals was dubbed as a Life vein, and situated under a lake. The life vein gives off lots of energy for the nearby flora and plant life to turn what was once a desert into a marsh. The chief of the island solves all disputes, has the final say in all decisions, and keeps all the people safe. The chief is decided on either a chief''s first born child that reaches 360 Million Seconds (AN: 12 years), appointed by the current chief, or selected by a member of the council before a vote would happen. The Chief for Blu''s current son, Rhav Taz Blu, is 300 Million Seconds (AN: 10 years) old. The current chief, Taz Rak Blu, is 870Million Seconds (AN: 29Years) old; and doesn''t plan to retire for another 630 Million Seconds (AN: 21Years) which at that point he plans to become a council member and retire from Chief. Rhav is the son of the chieftain and a shrine maiden. The chieftain was known as the strongest on the island long before he became the chieftain, and it wasn''t because of his physical prowess that stands on top, but because because of his magical abilities and specialization with sealing, canceling, and removing magic. Shrine maidens normally don''t have children, because they spend so much time with the magical crystals and close proximity. Maiden children of the past have been so powerful that they would die at an early age burning their vitality faster than their body could produce it. After many disputes and discussions, Rhav''s mother and father were able to get together because of the chief''s sealing abilities and the Shrine maiden was one of the weakest magically empowered individuals who stayed near the magical crystal near the desert. Rhav''s mother died shortly after Rhav was born because ofa heart attack. Her body went into shock runninga fever, and died within 7 thousand seconds (~2 hours) after giving birth. After being born his father sealed his inherited powers. This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it. Well, Lukus was reborn. His memories, being inherited from his last life, was sealed with his inherited powers. The consciousness having amnesia didn''t matter, because he was just born anyways. At the same time, 2 other shrine maidens also had children, who also had their children sealed. Both of the other shrine maidens also died, but not for the same reasons. One of the shrine maidens already had cancer and was the last of a bloodline that specialized in gravity. The other child''s mother specialized in illusions. Rhav''s mother specialized in healing. Jokes how someone who specialized in healing could die to a fever wasn''t funny to many people, but it didn''t keep such talks from happening. When Rhav''s father Taz finally finished mourning for his lover, he was lost for a period of time. The former Chief had already decided to make Taz aChief long ago, but hadn''t had the time for Taz to govern. With his new found free time, he was able to focus on many tasks. Soon the former Chief became a council member, and Chief Taz was recognized by everyone soon after. Many goals held by one Chief might not be the same for the next. 3 Billion Seconds (AN: 100 years) ago, a Chief decided that building a bridge to find the edge of the ceiling of the world was a good idea to ascend the heavens. The Chief at the time was old and greedy. Thinking that obtaining immortality at any cost would be worth it even if everyone else had to make a sacrifice or two. So started the bridge making process, in search for the edge of the ceiling. Long ago, gave up in attempts to dig straight up. After digging 3 miles upward, they decided it was infinite amount of material. Little did they know that they were already half way up. For the last 900 Million Seconds (AN: 30 years) there has been teams building a sturdy bridge across their ''ceiling''. The sturdy bridge practically maintans a level grade. At many locations the bridge bores through the rock instead of hanging. The north east corner of the map is connected to the ceiling via a stalactites. The many stalactites hanging from the ceiling can also be a source of water collection. Placing empty pools underneath one every couple miles would allow water to eventually fill these pools. Time went by in this story. Currently, the bridge has 400 feet from completion. The total length for the bridge is about 1500 miles, and takes a 2 month walk for travel. As the workers got closer to the edge of the ceiling noises could be heard occationally which caused the workers to work more silently and making less noise while mining. They decided to mine straight up for better structural strength at the end of this bridge, while hidingthe entrance with a concealed trap door if possible. While some workers were doing this, they sent a messenger back to Blu about the good news about the bridge and the otherside of the ceiling. 1.1 Blu - Rhav - Harvy - Gloria 300 Million seconds ago, half a generation ago, 30 talented individuals fought in a blood bath at the dark forest while attempting to clear the strong beasts. A greedy man by the name of Ted who specialized in illusionscoveted a very special bow. This specific bow has four socketed high leveled cores, of which 3 cores belonged to high leveled magical beasts and one belonged to a high resonenced mystical beast. The inscriptions on the stringless bow allowed the bowto not require arrows. Additionally, the bow''s shots would project an illusion to not allow anyone to see the projectile. The mystical core allowed the bow to be usable underwater, as well as synergize the bow in the case of someone stringing the bow orusing an actual projectiles. The bow was considered a high leveled 4th tier weapon. Ted recieved lethal damage and became one of thecripples that day. With 18 people dead, 5 crippled, 4 with cripple limbs, 2 injured, and 1 escapee; Ted managed to escapewith the bow. This was a utter disgrace, and was refrenced as the most bloody, dark, and utter disgraceful events in history for Blu. Families became strangers that day. The Clip family camp refused to communicate with the outside wasn''t recongized officially as a town, even if they were large enough. Their houses on the outside were only disguises anyways, as they lived underground. So their camp was more like an underground village, with only 9 entranced above ground in the shape of little houses and huts. The clip family withassistance from other families assassinated everyone in Ted''s family, with the exception of alittle shrine maiden, aswell as other people who were publically known to specialize in illusions. In Blu, the three children that were born from the three different maidens was an occurance that has not occured in many generations. All three of the maidens specialized in magics that no one else did, and were the last of a blood line because of the bloody dark forest event. When Taz''s sealing ability idea was circulated, two other maidens with special blood lines also got permission from Taz for him to seal babbies of their own. The maiden who specialized in illusions ended up procurating with Lance, who specialized in spears. When the child was born, he was named Harvy. The other maiden with gravity abilities ended up with a craftsman named Smith who specialized in enchanting. When their child was born she was named Gloria. All 3 children were sealed the day they were born. It was decided that when they reach 200million seconds, 1/3 of the seal would be slowly removed. 100 million seconds after that, another 1/3 would be slowly removed again, so they could start practicing their usage of abilities. 150 million seconds after that, they would remove the last of the seal. As long as their body could handle the abilities, they would remain completely unsealed. Many children awaken their powers around 150 to 250 million second range. Geniuses and talents usually awaken as earlyas 50 million seconds; which is usually the age many children die if their inherited powers greatly overcast their vitality. When Rhav, Harvy, and Gloria reached 250 million seconds in age many of the older children twice their age saw these three as hopeless, motherless, and useless. It would be a given many didn''t know about their mothers origins let alone the three them selves. The three were playmates in the early stages as the three fathers were friends after all.You could be reading stolen content. Head to the original site for the genuine story. Rhav and Taz lived inthe one and only town on Blu, named Town of Blu. Taz was the Chief and organized disputes when they occured. Rhav, like Harvy and Gloria, didn''t carry the possitive characteristics from either parent and was frail, short, and often sick. On their 200 millionthbirthsecond (AN: birthday) the three had their seals loosened, over the next 100 million seconds the seal would slowly loosen and decay to two thirds strength. Rhav was sick for 600 Thousand seconds after the partial unsealing was done. Gloria had minimal syptoms such as mana overflow and headaches, but nothing too dangerous. Harvy would have been like Rhav, but since an infanthe had many herbs to strengthen his bodyto be slightly inferior to others his age. Rhav didn''t know why, but after the partial unsealing he started to have vague knowledge about things that he''s never seen before, and have vivid dreams. One big discovery was about talents. What everyone called blood inherited talent and characteristics was just accumilated effort, and that personal effort could surpass inherited effort. Because his body was always frail, he would spend much of his time in bed reading scrolls and books. Written materials were very expensive to produce, butthis collection was slowly accumulatedover many generations at the library. Rhav spent manymillions of seconds reading about magic, and figured out that if he wasn''t fated to be powerful he would be skillful instead. So started Rhav in his secret practice in alchemy and inscriptions while others thought he was just sick in bed. Harvy and Lance lived east of the Herb forest on the north side of the Marsh where the Life spiritual vein was located at. There were many herbs that could be picked in the Herb forest that would benefit any warrior. There were two strong beasts in Herb forest, but for long you stay away from their gardens the two would ignore the pesky humans. The two were very intelligent and didn''t want to provoke the pesky humans. The two were stronger than any individual, but not stronger than everyone in a war. Given that the two were intelligent enough to communicate, 200 million seconds ago there was a deal made with the two beasts. After the unsealing, Harvy would go out to play in the Herb forest and the suroundings. He would wrestle with cubs shortly after waking up, eat wild plants and herbs with small beasts, explore the trees with the birds, and go back home to cook food for Lance before he got hungry. Lance also taught Harvy the basics of spears, and how to get along with the beasts. Lance pretty much ignored Harvy when ever he was busy practicing with his spear which was most of the time. Gloria and Smith lived near the Mine Settlement Docks. There were 4 houses and a dock shack at the docks, andthe special small house Gloria lived in was the 4th house and furthest away from the docks. Smith was known for his enchanting, and every miner would go to Smith for their repairs. Smith wasn''t the best blacksmith, but had very good magical control in use with his craft. Gloria was much better off than Rhav after the unsealing. She didn''t have a low vitality, but there wasn''t an overflow like effect either. She helped and learned everything related to crafts since she could talk and walk. Because there was no day and night cycle, people were always awake and moving. Craftsmen would never close shop even if they were one person. You''d walk into the right place if you see a sleeping old man, because he would be too busy to talk to you if he wasn''t sleeping. Gloria was an active bee, but watching the old man sleeping started to take an effect on her as she got older. If there wasn''t any thing to do, she''d just go to sleep while standing. People sleep to live, but this crafts family lived to sleep. Like this, the three''s lives continued on until... Next chapter... 1.2 Blu - Rhav - The letter - Talking begins 99 Million seconds go by. Sincethe unsealing over the course of time, Rhav spent time acquainted with the use of this 2 bloodline abilities. Using the mysterous vague knowledge, Rhavwas able to verify that bloodline abilities are not limiters and are merely vague musclememory.Given that both the vague knowledgeand bloodline abilities are similiarly sealed, Rhav had the thought that both memories are from his bloodline. With the help of his bloodline, he managed to train both of his special abilities. Healing slight abraisions and sealing traces of energy when doing inscriptions and alchemy for minor effects. In the Herb forest, Harvy can be found in an herb field. Formidable beasts will consume herbs that can improve physic. Many times, the herbs that beasts consume aren''t cultured to an idea level. Smarter beasts have learned to guard the soon to be cultured herbs to maximize growth. After learning about this, Harvy had the idea to start his own cultivation of herbs learning from the lion beast, the strongest beast in the Herb forest. The lion was pleased with teaching Harvy because he agreed to planting some herbs and sapplings in the lion''s garden. The lion has been gardening for many years, but every step would take unbelievable effort. The lion is about 24 feet long, and when gently placing a plant would require gentle, slow, delicate, and acurate movements. Knowing where the best natural locations, finding energy lines, identifying ground conditions, and many other farming related knowledge was absorbed by Harvy. His spear art wasn''t extrodinary like Lance hoped for, but specialized in grappling. He wasn''t very good at using his illusions, but could make an illusionary clone of himself. This clone would have very limited actions though, as it required concentration for it''s movements. His best friend is the daughter to the second strongest beast, Rabbit, and he calls her Bunny. At first, the little rabbit would eat his crops and he would be pissed and wrestle and bite her which would lead to chasing when the rabbit ran away. Later the rabbit wouldn''t allow him to catch her and would run away Gloria, ever since she started learning from her father Smith after her unsealing, was busy helping with crafting and a little bit of enchanting. She would practice with gravity control by remotely using levitation on tools that she needed while working so she didn''t have to stand up. Her goal was to be able to craft while still laying down in bed one day. Enchating on this island was actually a type of magical inscription. Inscriptions are carvings that are placed on an item to allow the facilitationthrough the grooves and paths easier for other substances. Magical inscriptions are grooves that travel through the internals of an item that facilitated energy. Normal inscriptions are usually made to facilitate liquid metal that would harden after cooling in the grooves. The advantages of magical inscriptions is how powerful an enchantment can be. A major con to magical inscriptions is the skill, time, and energy it takes to make an enchantment. Normal inscriptions does not require special energy, does not require delicate time control, and does not require extensive practice and intuition. A major advantage of normal inscription is that it can still receive a magical inscription to further enchance effects to a magnatude. Taz had a message delivered to Lanceand Smith about the upcomming time for the second unsealing. Taz would visit Rhav while he stayed in bed, but would only momentarily goto his room once every one or two million seconds. Taz just thought his son was fragile, and didn''t pay much attension to what he did. Rhav was a loner and spent all his time reading books and playing with alchemical liquid metals. Lance was just like Taz, at the start he would teach Harvy about the spear, but Harvy didn''t show much interest to the spear which led to a seperation that only increased over time as Harvy spent more and more time with the wild beasts. Harvy''sbest friend was Bunny and they became unseperable. Smith was different from the other two, Taz and Lance, because he spent lots of time teaching Gloria everything he knew. Gloria showed great progress and resourcefulness. Smith was much older and knew that he was getting close to the end of his life. Before Gloria, Smith wouldn''t eat at times, but after meeting the woman who gave birth to Gloria he has started to have a much better mood. Even when she died, he was sad, but also happy because of Gloria. Gloria needed all his attension and he soon forgot about his sadness replacing it with work.Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. Taz''s House A guard came into Taz''s house. "Chief!" Taz nodded, to tell the guard to continue. "Grand Town Elder has information related to the bridge. He said it''s important." "Tell Grand Town Elder, a thousand seconds I''ll be there. Have all the eldersthere if not inconvient." Town Hall The Grand Town Elder was the first in the meeting hall. The news many of the elders got was that there was an urgent meeting, and both Chief and Grand Town Elder was going to be there. Some of the Senior Town Elders got information that a messanger from the bridge was spotted at before this meeting happened. The room was unusually quiet, an unscheduled urgent meeting hasn''t happened in about 100 million seconds. The situation didn''t appear critical, as the room was quiet and it was unimportant enough for the Grand Town Elder to have an unemotional face. "The Chief has arrived!" A guard at the door announced. The chief walked to his chair, stood in front of the chair. "Please start." The chief glanced around the room, his gaze landing on the Grand Town Elder. He then sat in his chair. The Grand Town Elder stood up, "Yes." The Grand Town elder looked around the room for a moment. "Everyone is here today because we need to make an action plan, resolve any issues, and make our goals clear so there are no misunderstandings. Messenger, report!" "Yes Grandy." (Slang for Grand Town Elder) The messenger stepped forward standing to the side where the Grand Town Elder stood previously. The Grand Town Elder sat back down in his seat. The messenger coughed clearing his throught getting ready to say a long report. "3 million seconds ago we saw what appeared to be the edge of the ceiling!" The room''s elders all stared hard at the messenger, who seemed didn''t notice as he continued without stop, "2 and half million seconds ago we confirmed the edge, shortly after we could hear sounds from the above ceiling edge and slowed down our pace. Bridge commander ordered pace to be slowed and silence to be priority. We are mining straight up and should have reached the top by now. Bridge commander will have the entrace concealed and reinforced. Bridge commander requests 100% increase in miners and diggers. Bridge commander requests prospectors and apraisers for land, resources, and beasts. Bridge commander requests 90% of the military as reinforments. Bridge commander requests skilled labour required to support and operate a camp. Bridge commander requests food, tools, resources required for all previous requests and extra personnel. Bridge commander requests permission to start and operate a camp and outpost. Bridge commander recommends reinforcement of bridge for future use. Bridge commander recommends making another bridge in the future. Bridge commander recommends to continue mining straight up in the infinite mine. End of report." The messenger looked out of breath after speaking his report. "My goodness." "Fucking shit." "Wow." "Interesting." "Dude." "Heh, money." "I want to go." The room had 20 of the 28 Elders, plus the Town Chief and Grand Town Elder. Everyone was suprised by the news. Side discussions were soon on fire. Next chapter: Bridge talks, News for all residents on Blu Island to gather for a meeting, collection of ideas, military, people, and jobs at the new camp. 1.3 Blu - Rhav - Bridge plans Town Hall (cont.) In a hundred or so seconds, the side discusions started to chill as many people started to stare at the Grand Town Elder and the Town Chief. The 1st Senior Town Elders started to stare at Taz then glanced at the Grand Town Elder, and started to slur in that direction, "So, Grandi, uhh If it pleases you, I''ll lead the discussion. * cough * * clears voice * I know this is going to be a long discussion, so let''s just start off assuming everything requested and suggested will be accepted. Where are we going to get all these people from? I feel the reasons to opose out weighs otherwise. We are already lacking food and resources, howdo they expect us to spent all of our resources for your farts?" The room was quiet for a moment, then Taz spoke up, "Everyone can choose not to help. I think this isn''t nonsense, andI also feel this willbe very dangerous. The more people who are on board, the more profit we will get. I would like to say that we should move everyone on the island, but I know many families will not want to move, especially Clip and some old demons. Let''s move everyone who is strong, and leave all the weak bodied people." Many of the warrior elders in the room agreed with that line of thought, leaving behind all the burdens was the best solution. However a few of the more skilled artisians felt that this wasn''t the answer they should use, and the 4th Town Elder was one who spoke up, "I disagree, many of the best skilled artisians are older and have weaker bodies." The 1st Town Elder shouted in response, "Nah! We just have to give them a body guard or assistant and problem solved!" Some of the elders felt this wasn''t exactly the right answer, but didn''t know how to respond. Then 2nd Senior Town Elder spoke up, "In 3 million seconds, let''s hold a festival, we are going to need to gather everyone at some point anyways. We can recruit everyone who doesn''t already have a job or master. Let''s give desciples to all the artisans, and also give junior recruits in pairs or triplets to artisans based on their importance. The important artisans can help baby sit the junior recruits too." The 1st Senior Town Elder didn''t agree and said with a frown, "And you want to take all our people and resources leaving us with not enough people?" A few people started to nod their heads, agreeing with what the 1st Senior Town Elder said. Followed with a rebute from 2nd Senior Town Elder, "Since when did this old lady need your permission to hire people and buy resources with my money? This old lady has so much money, I''ll just move my entire Haflu camp and make a new camp. I''ll cover all the costs and claim all the profit!" "Go ahead and spend all your bitch money!" "Keep farting, everyone enjoys listening to it." Taz really hated the bickering between the two the most and said with an annoyed face, "Stop bickering you two, else don''t blame me when I get involved. 2nd Senior will be in charge of all finances for the new camp. All resources will be bought at 20% increased market cost with today''s costs set in stone, no flucuations in any price. If it''s ridiculous trade, I''llinterviene again. Any disagreement?" "20% is so high, how about 19%" "20% is so low, what about all the people we''ll lose! The prices are going to rise higher than 30%!" At this point the Grand Town Elder spoke and said in a relaxed voice, "Then how about in the future, this new camp needs to send 5% of all profit, and include the 5% of the value of all the people that are born as tribute back to Blu? And uhh how about the first 100 million seconds, this will be doubled, and for every month there is a balance there is an interest rate of 1% applied yearly? This sounds a little harsh how about this tribute will last for 1 billion seconds, and then be reduced to 1% after that. However all tribute this camp receives we will get 2% of that ontop of the calculated profit. 20% will be removed... no, we will sell all the resources at 80% cost..."Enjoying the story? Show your support by reading it on the official site. These conditions were very hurtful to both parties. It essentially forced third parties who would stay in Blu to invest, and at the same time gave them some of the profits. Both Senior Town Elders were both elated and dissatisfied with what was said. 80% cost meant that the second Senior was going to make a profit no matter what, however these required tributes would suck the camp of excess resources in the future, it wouldn''t be alot, but over time it would add up. Taz was very satisfied with what Grand Town Elder said, nodding his head he spoke, "I like this plan, this spreads the cost while sharing some of the profits. Atleast if this adventure is a fail, everyone will be hurting and there will be no winners. If this succeeds, then everyone will hurt for a while, but soon everyone wins... We have had lack of land as a major issue for a long time... We also need more land for farming. Living in the Infinite mines can cause issues because the rocks block the reception of the crystals... We need those energies to strengthen our bodies..." At this point Taz thought about if He had his son live in the infinite mines instead of placing that seal on his body, and how that would have effected him instead. But the thought quickly dispersed when he thought about the other dangers of the mines. Taz continued, "We will hold that festival to recruit people like suggested, however we will also invite everyone on Blu, to include the shrine maidens. Even the two wild beast kings are invited if they want to show up! I want everyone to be involved!" What Taz just suggested was comepletely unexpected, theft could happen if there were no body guards left behind, but then assassination could happen. His next sentence cleared the dought, "This means everyone needs to bring all their worldly posessions, let''s just abandon Blu and take everyone and migrate!" This time the 1st Senior Town Elder spoke laughing, "Chief jokes are truely funny! There are too many people who don''t want to go, so that isn''t going to happen, but having everyone to bring their stuff will help in selling everything, we should just turn this festival to a market festival! Allow this clever elder toorganize this market festival! It''ll help to let people know that all prices in the market event will be one price and no variance! I''ll have all people know how much their bodies and skills are worth, and how much their valuable are worth!" 7th Junior Town Elder then mentioned a thought, "What if everyone doesn''t want to sell their stuff, and groups up?" 3rd Junior Town Elder replied thoughtfully, "What if we force any person that isn''t going that they have to sell their stuff?" 1st Junior Town Elder mentions, "Then because you aren''t going, I want to buy your favoriate pet. You gota sell it now!" 2nd Junior Town Elder says, "What if we say then that they should get 200% market value for any thing that''s not for sale, and force them to sell at that price?" 1st Junior Town Elder says cleverly, "Then I want to buy all your rare items that are cheap but can be expensive in higher quantities!" 7th Junior Town Elder mentions, "We can just place a multiplier on it depending on quantity that seller posesses. If you don''t buy out all the stock then you should pay an extra 50% in cost when forcfully buying products that they don''t want to sell! For slaves, pets, and special plants, let''s stick with 500%. If someone has products they don''t want to sell no matter what, they pay the value of that item''s 100% market price as tribute to the expedition, and that amount is given into a fund that''s split for later use. We can use that money as more investment for better tribute from the camp in the future." The Grand Town Elder smiles at the idea, "That''s not a bad idea, the amounts need to be changed... hmmm..." After a brief pause the Grand Town Elder continued, "Special rare items are 50%, Slaves 50%, war slaves 10%, all other items 10-20%. This is how much you have to pay in market value for these items to not be for sale if they want to stay on Blu, there is no increase in value because you don''t want to sell. You either pay this tribute or you are going. Clip is the only family that gets the exemption. However, I have a feeling that the Clip family is going to want to go too, and make their own camp. 4th Junior, you go send a message to Clip family of everything that was said in this meeting, after all, you are related to them. I''d like to know their stance." The 1st Town Elder looked a little gloomy at first, then started to smile. He was in charge of the event after all, he could micromanage the percentages a little and give exceptions after all. Taz was getting tired with the atmosphere, stood up and said, "Lady 2nd Senior is in charge of the expedition, Sir 1st Senior is in charge of the market. 1st Elder, you are in charge of organizing all the juniors into artisians and soldiers. Grandi will be in charge of organizing the other elders into other groups or helping the current ones. Oh yes, I''ll also unseal those 3 brats at this event too, let''s see if there is any community services we can also do, well any questions?" No one said anything. Taz left the room. 1.4 Blu - Rhav - Servants Chief''s House, Blu, Blu Rhav received news about the planned migration to the new land when reading a few papers laying around in the house and brought up the topic to his father. "I forbid it!" Rhav laying down on a bed had those words echoing through his mind. He had a look of confusion reflected in his eyes. He asked why, and recalling the answer he started to frown. "Too weak! Forget this topic!" Taz was never good at talking, if he said something of the lines ''I don''t want my only son to be injured'' maybe something would be different, but instead he started to berate his son. He wanted his son to learn to be independent, but who would of thought this would lead to the exact oposite effect. Rhav started to figet and started rolling back and forth while on top of his bed. "Not fair!" Pouting, "There are others who are just as weak that get to go!" Suddenly Rhav got an idea, "Why can''t I just go anyways? It''s not like anyone other than father can stop me!" Many solutions came into his mind: 1. become a desciple for an artisian, "Maybe" 2. become a soldier or bodyguard, "Nope, too weak" 3. become an artisian and get my own desciple or bodyguard,"Possible, but I''ll get caught quickly." 4. "What if I hire someone to be a pretend artisian? hmm, hmm, this, uhh is doable hmm yeah." These ideas were escallating very quickly... Rhav decided to get another person''s opinion on his ideas. He traveled to the only book store in Blu. Book store, Blu, Blu Not many people came here, as books were expensive and even the highly ranked members of society couldn''t read words. His father and a few elders could read, but their reports used many doodles instead of many actual words because they were easier to remember. Like symbols and jargons would be used everywhere. A report with only symbols and jargons could and would happen on a regular basis. Some written materials didn''t even have words, they only had images or pictures to describe it''s contents. "Old man, have you heard the resent news?" "About the festival? Or are you talking about why we are having a festival?" Pouting, "You know alot like always." The old man makes a wry smile, "Do I? So what did you come to bother me about? It''s not just to make fun of me is it?" "So, I want to go to the new camp, an" Cutting Rhav off, "And your father said you can''t go?" "Eh? How did you guess?" "So you come here to complain to your only friend?" Making a face of contempt while speaking,"You wish I, your father, was your friend!" They both laughed, the old man speaked, "You little kid, what you run here to talk about?" Rhav spoke, while placing a finger on his nose, "So artisians are being treated like nobles on this trip. What if I hire someone to pretend to be an artisian? I''ve recently finished an inscription design that can reduce the weight to tools! And it doesn''t effect the usage negatively!" "I don''t think hiring just a single pretend artisian is going to be enough, how much money do you have sunny?" "115 silver coins." "Nieve! Even though everything will be cheap during the festival, but aren''t you going to need to buy food, tools, and spare materials? What about bodyguards? How are you going to get everything transported? So what are you planning to sell to get more money?" Rhav took out a bag off his back, placed it on a table with a smile then spoke, "Check out these heavy rocks!" The old man rose an eyebrow after he lifted the bag with ease, but the rock inside the bag was too heavy to lift out of the bag. Confusion was evident on his face, "Uh, this bag is very nice. These rocks look like they don''t have a value?" "Right! The rocks are just rocks, but the bag however takes about 2-3 million seconds to make, but I think I could sell this for alot. I''ve made 2 bags, this large duffelbag and the other looks like an ugly small cariage. It''s about a quarterthe size of a regular carriage." "How about I buy this dufflebag off you for 200 silver coins? I think this could be very useful for me." Rhav thought he could sell it for about 50 silver coins max, given that the materials cost about 8 silver coins to make. He nodded with a smile while rubbing his nose, "Yes, that''s a very good deal. Any thoughts on where to get some people? I also need to store everything before the departure. I don''t want my father to find out my plan until I leave." "Well, I''d suggest making a list, and other than personnel, you can get everything at the festival. You''ll probably find survival kits for sale on the day for ideas if you miss something. I''d suggest buying a few extras if you have the money, because you could resell it to others on the journey. Also I''d suggest getting a docile beast rather than ananimal to pull your cart. Go to the southside of town today for people. Maybe you''ll get lucky. There is also a few empty lots you can put your holdings while your people stand guard." After spending some time writting a list down Needed stuff [ ]food x 500 meals x people [ ]spare cloths x 3 x people [ ] sleeping bag x people [ ] parka x people + beast [ ] carriage [ ] 2 x harness [ ]saddle [ ] rope [ ] pots [ ] pans [ ] cooking utensils [ ] jugs [ ] plates [ ] bowls [ ] cups [ ] eating utensils [ ] tools [ ] axe [ ] knives [ ] pick [ ] level [ ] fire starter [ ] 2lbhammer [ ] 10lbsledge [ ] 50lb sledge [ ] materials for trade : [ ] Cloth [ ] String [ ] thread [ ] nails ALOT [ ] spare tools for trade [ ] thread needles ALOT [ ] some seeds [ ] animal feed x 1000 meals [ ] 25 x empty barrels to store things like water or food "This looks like a pretty good list. Stop dilly dallying and go already. Go to the southern part of town, you''ll see a red colored brick house. Ask for Ted, say that Tom recommended you. You''ll not get any discount, but atleast you aren''t going to get robbed with that weak looking frame of yours."Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon. "Thanks old man!" House in the southern part of Blu, Blu Upon entering the house, a tall and burley man started to stare bullets at Rhav. "Kid, who sent you?" Looking at a child that looked well dressed comming into the building, the burley man could guess what the little shrimp would come in here for, but he had to ask. "I was told to ask for Ted and that Tom recommended me." "Oh? And do you think you can see Ted just because some guy named Tom recommended you?" "Yeah. Because I got money." "Oh~? That''s a pretty good reason. Well I am Ted. What are you looking for and what''s your bugget?" "I''m looking for a bodyguard and an attendant who can pretend to be an artisian who can be my maid or butler and run my shop on my behalf. My budget is 250 silver coins, but I can go as high as 300." "Okay Okay, let''s take a seat over here and drink some tea while we talk." The man named Ted lead Rhav to 2 chairs and a small table off to the side in the corner next to a window. The man poured a cup for himself and Rhav, took a sip then started to speak,"I can get you a tier 1 female warrior for 150 silver. A male youth will be 15silver higher. hmm, I also have a young adult tailor, she has damaged legs, missing a left eye and ear; we are asking for 100 silver coins for her.She used to run her own shop, so she should be able to learn to run your shop. She can''t be your attendant though, how about a 5silver discount for 95 silver coins?" He took a another small sip from his cup. "Hmm," Rhav nodded, "Any others?" After waiting for a brief paused the mancontinued, "I have another artisian with smithing experience, but he''s going to cost 250 silver coins. I also have a young lad that''s a baker, going at 150 silver. I''ll give you a 5 silver discount for him for 145 silver coins. Any unskilled young girl around your age will be around 110 silver coins, a lad add 15 silver. Young unskilled adults 140 silver coins either gender. Older unskilled adults can be much cheaper, and damaged or injured even cheaper." "Okay, I''d like to look at thetier 1 warriors you mentioned before." "Absolutely, we have 12 to pick from. Should I bring them all? We''ll have about 20 more during the festival." The man lead Rhav to a room to take a seat, while the man would getthe warriors ready to be inspected. After 450 seconds passed by, 5 females and 7 males came into the room. They were all equiped in very minimal amounts of leather, with short tin swords in their hands. Ted, the old man Rhav was waiting for, asked, "So? Any questions or preferences?" "If any of you have killed someone, raise your hand." A single female and 2 males rose their hands. Rhav looked at the female and asked, "In a short description, why do you kill others?" In a semi deep voice that didn''t care how she sounded, said, "A thief wanted to steal from me." Rhav nodded, turning his gaze to another man and asked, "In a short description, why did you kill someone?" The first man Rhav looked at smiled, "I enjoy it." Rhav nodded again, turned his gaze to the last person, asking, "Same question." The last man snorted, "Secret." Rhav replied, "Then I don''t want you." The last man''s face cramped then rolled his eyes. Rhav looked atthe female that talked first and asked, "Can you use a bow?" She nodded then Rhav asked, "Can you steer a carriage and take care of beasts or animals?" She nodded again and Rhav took a deep look at her. He looked at her white short hair. She had serious scarring caused by what looked like burns on the right side of her body from shoulder to her feet. Whip scars could be seen all over her body. Her face lacked vitality, and a deep scars that looked like letters spelled out the word ugly was on her face. Her yellow tinted eyes looked empty and lost. She appeared to be only slightly older than Rhav, and had a honey skin with a bronze or chai cool undertone. Rhav asked finally, "What''s your name?" Before the girl could reply, Ted said, "Normally, they receive new names after you buy them. We give everyone temporary names for convenience. Her name right now is Neo, it means new. She is one of the few that asked for her memory mostly erased. Except for things related to combat or skills, her personal life from before was removed on her consent. We also provide extra services if you choose them. If you choose, you can neuter females for 30silvers, males are 10 silvers. Everyone receives a basic brand on their backs between their shoulder blades. Upgrades and requests can range between 1 and 30 silvers. If you want them to obey or feel pain on command and other similiar things. Non conconsential memory removal can be costly and reach upto 200 silvers, depending on how much you want removed or if you want a reusable brand to remove memory that will reach gold coins." "Any recommendations?" "For 12silvers, we can upgrade the brand to simple auto pain on conditions or moderate on command." "We''ll go with that. Can I also take a look at that first artisian you mentioned?" "Of course, I already have her ready to be inspected." Ted had a body guard lead the warriors out including Neo, and a bulky looking bodyguard carried the skinny looking artisian into the room and sat her onto the chair. The girl was staring at Rhav. The left side of her head was mutilated. Her brown long hair was only on the right side of her head. The left side was scarred by burns. The hair was removed down to the root. Her ear looked like it melted off, and her eye socket wasn''t much better off. It looked like it was caved in from a punch. Her remaining eye wasa deep blue with a silver shine to it. Her legs looked like it had muscle atrophy. Her hips were dented at the joins to the legs, which led to the atrophy aparently. She appeared to be double Rhav''s age, and had a milk skin with a light beige cool undertone. Ted said, "Her temporary name is Taylor. Saying she is scared of people would be an understatment. Her 95 silver price includes the removal of her memory. We would erase memories from the last year, other than when she stayed here with us. Do you have any questions so far or like to talk to her?" Rhav looked at Taylor and said, "I plan on running a shop. I have a weak physical body and will need help taking care of a shop. I also can''t expose myself so need you to be the artisian represenative. I do have a few tailor related tasks that I''ll need help with in my shop too so you can just do that too. Can you do that?" The woman named Taylor looked at Rhav and simply nodded lightly. Rhav sighed. He didn''t expect everyone he looked at so farto have this large of a personality issue like he just experienced. He asked, "Before the things that happened to you, did you have issues talking to strangers?" The woman shook her head. Rhav nodded when he saw her reply. "Okay, so what recommendations do you have for her?" "4 silvers mild headache on conditions, light pain on command. Also note that the leg damage could be repaired for about 300 silver in the future if you ever choose to do so." "How much do I owe you now?" "160 plus 12 and 95 plus 4, so. Uhh, 271 Silvers. Do you want basic clothes? We can give a 10% discount from market price. We can also recommend Luke''s shop for armor and weapons. Oh, and uhh, he also has a few bows." Ted added remembering the question related to bows. "Yes, for Taylor I''d like 1sets of casual clothes, and 2 sets of clothing for light work, and a pair of shoes. For Neo, asets of casual clothes, set of light working clothes, shoes." "So 271 silver, the discount of 20% by being recommended by Tom, sub total 217 silver." Ted started to write the number on a small paper, then continued speaking, "136 ironsfor the clothing, 10% discount, that''ll be, uh, 124irons. Let''s round it to 2 silvers" Ted wrote a few more things onto the paper, did some quick math, then spoke, "219 silver coins will be your total." Rhav took out 219 Silver coins and handed them over. Ted counted, had an associate take the girls out. Then Ted continued saying, "It''ll take about 400 seconds to prepare the girls then we''ll need some of your blood to complete the brands, then after about 200 seconds the brands will be complete and we can start the removal of memories. Memory removal should take 1000 seconds. After 300 seconds or so, we can wake her up. Then you can leave. While my associatesare getting those two ready, I cancontinue to answer questions." "Well, I don''t know what to ask. Any general information or recommendations for first time buyers?" "Well, your artisian is old enough, just ask her for details you need to know so they can do their self maintance. You can also tell them to inform you when there is something they need or something happens to them." "Are you going to have any help managing these servants?" "No." "Well, uhh, your artisian is old enough, just ask her for details you need to know so they can do their self maintance." "Okay, so uhh, do I have to care about their families trying to take them back?" "No, the law says once someone gets a brand, they are forever a servant. The family can fight for ownership, but they''ll end up paying a fortune to the current master. Also, these two don''t have any family, so you don''t have to worry." "Do you think servants will be sold at the new camp?" "The first few million seconds they will be expensive. The price will depend on the food accessibility most likely." "Okay, well that''s all my questions I could think of." 1.5 Blu - Rhav - Holdings House in the southern part of Blu, Blu (Brick house that sells servants) The time arrived, Rhav went with Ted to supply some blood for the branding process. They started with Taylor because she would need to be prepared for the memory process. Rhav was startled when he heard the scream that came out of Taylor''s mouth. Considering that she hasn''t spoke a word to him yet, Rhav thought it was a little sad. Soon after it was Neo''s turn. The scream she released was much quieter, but Rhav was told that the pain she received was much more painful than Taylor had received. Given that mild headaches only needed to be lightly branded onto the body versus the simple pain that needed to be more deeply branded into the body. After the branding was finished Rhav told Ted, "I''ll leave before everything is finished, go pickup a cart, then come back. I''ll be back within 4000 seconds." "Okay I''ll be waiting." Rhav left, went home, grabbed his mini carriage sized bag with wheels, and went back to the brick house. Only 3200 seconds had passed by so far. Rhav wasn''t a very fast walker and had enough trouble covering this distance. When he stepped into into the building, Neo was waiting there. She stood up from a chair, walked towards Rhav and knelt like a knight, "Master, everything is prepared, other than waking up Taylor." Neo lead Rhav to where Taylor was sleeping. He gently grabbed her shoulder, then started to shake her. She didn''t wake up, but then Neo opened her mouth, "Master, how about trying out the brand on both of us? I heard that you need to actively use it atleast once every 75 thousand seconds a few times after it''s initially placed." Rhav waved his hands, and attempted to try the brand out. It took a little bit of effort to figure out how to do it. He felt it was easier to use it on Neo than Taylor. Neo fell to the floor and started to moan in pain. Taylor also immediately woke up and started to shreak. After a few seconds, Rhav figured out how to stop the brand, and the two servants soon quieted down. Taylor upon seeing Rhav cow towed while on the bed and mumbled in a very quiet voice barely audible to Rhav, "Master." Rhav wryly smiled and spoke, "I thought your negative memories were removed, why do you still speak so quietly?" Taylor replied in the smallest of sounds, "It''s a habit, and I''d feel embarased if I just changed it over night." Rhav noded, "Oh yeah, don''t call me master anymore, call me young master instead. AlsoNeo, carry Taylor out and follow me. I''ll carry these clothing. I have a mini carriage sized cloth cart out side we can place Taylor and these clothes into. We''ll go to a nearby realtor and get a warehouse to rent so we can store all our stuff and a place for you two to sleep." Souther Realtor office, Blu, Blu Rhav arrived at a realtor office and told the two to watch the cart. He entered the building was was greeted by a good looking natured man, "Hello~ How can I help you today~" A cheerful voice echoed. Rhav replied, "Hello, I''m looking for a warehouse that''s atleast 1000 sq.ft. It needs to be on the first floor, and have access to a well and a nearby stall for animals or beasts preferably on the property. My budget is 20 silvers, and I only need to rent the space out for 4 million seconds." The smile left the man''s face as he replied, "So sorry sir~ Because the upcomming festival, the price for a property you are looking for will be about 60 silvers for that time amount that you requested." The smile left Rhav''s face. It was obvious that this was just bullying, but he smiled again and replied, "Oh really? How about 25silver?" "Sir, it''s really going to cost 60 silver. The price is projected to increase as the time gets closer." "50 silvers, else I might as well go outside and setup tents." "Sir, I''m not going to lie to you, that''s not a bad idea. If you want a warehouse in town, it''s going to be 60 silvers. The other realtors are selling at 70 to 75 silvers. We are on the south side of town and further away from the bridge, so there will be a traffic issues for our warehouses if you plan on using it only to store things you want to buy for the expedition." "Thanks, any recommendations where to buy warehouse sized tents?" "Walk down the road south, the building is painted blu. Ask for Jim, you might as well say the realtor recommended you." "Thanks for the information." Rhav took out a silver coin, noded his head, placed it on the desk, and turned to leave. Tent dealer building, Blu, Blu Rhav found the building, again had the two wait outside. Upon entering the building, a little girl Rhav''s age was sitting down. The girl stood up, bowed to Rhav, and said while smiling, "Hi~ Welcome~ Uh, How can I help you." She stared unblinkingly at Rhav waiting for his response. Rhav laughed, "I''m looking to buy a warehouse sized tent. The realtor up the road recommended me to speak to Jim, because the prices for warehouses in town are too expensive haha." The girl knit her brows for a moment then spoke, "Uhh, how big of a warehouse did you want?" "1000 sq.ft. so like500 for work space, 500 for storage, an area for beasts or animals, and a tent for sleeping that can fit upto 10 people. Does that help?" "Alright, big brother~ I''ll get help and letthem know what youwant." "Okay." The girl left quickly, then came back with a burly looking man. He had a serious sun tan. The man spoke, "I''m Jim. We have medium sized walled pavillion tents. You can use them for storage space or setup work areas inside. From what I''m told you''ll need 2 medium walled pavilions, a small walled pavilion for animals, and a medium sized regular tent for people to sleep in. If you follow me I''ll show you small models of what they look like as well as miniturized wagons and people models for comparisions." The man showed Rhav a table that had miniturized figures and models made of clay that gave an idea of what the tent looks like and how large they are. Rhav liked what he saw. He had arranged for the tent to be delivered by carriage. At the same time, he made a deal to keep the carriage. The rider would mount their beast back. He ended up spending 70 silver coins. He had 25 silver coins left remaining. Blu Market Plaza, Blu, BluIf you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation. While everything was being loaded and arranged, Rhav led the two to a small market. He spent 5 silver coins on 500 meals worth of crackers, cheese, dried meat, and some fried fruit, plus 4empty barrels, and a barrel of fresh water. He also saw a cloth sellsman, and decided to get some materials. "Hello, I''d like to get some cheap and strong fabric to make rucksacks." A man acknowledged Rhav whoreplied, "Hi sir, I''d like to ask how much material do you want. How strong does the materialneed to be?" "I''d like 100 yards of cotton duck canvas. Hm, how about uh, 50 yards of flannel too. And I''d like a 1000yards of threadand 400 feet of simple yarn." The man started to count in his head. After 15 seconds, the man gained focus and stared at Rhav and said, "That''ll be 19 silver coins. 14 silvers for the canvas, 2 silver for the flannel, a silver for the thread, and 2 silver for the yarn." After paying, Rhav had exactly 1 silver coin left. He felt a little wierd. Wasn''t everything a little too close to the perfect amount of money. The pushed cart went back to the tent dealer with the trio. Tent dealer loading yard on the side of thebuilding, Blu, Blu The carriage was loaded and ready. They had the small cart loaded on the carriage too, and they traveled west to their future camp near the edge of the empty forest. Rhav''s Holding Camp, Vacinity north of Empty Forest, Blu After they found a location that wasn''t too far from town, but next to the empty forest, they told the driver that here was a fine location to drop them off. The beast was unhooked form the carriage, and the driver and beast left. Rhav turned to Neo, and spoke, "We will setup the small sized tent first, eat then sleep. We didn''t bring anything to sleep with, but the tent has a floor liner that''s clean and new." Rhav couldn''t really help with the tent, so he sat next to Taylor. The next thing he knew, he was waking up laying down next to Taylor. He laughed while still feeling tired then said, "Did I pass out? I guess I was more tired than I thought. How long was I asleep for?" The tent was already finished, and both Taylor and Neo were sitting next to Rhav when Neo spoke, "Uh, about 10 thousand seconds." "Have either of you ate yet?" "Not yet master," Neo replied. "Well, I''ll say it now then. From now on, if you are hungry then eat food that''s prepared for you. You can eat 2 meals between each sleep cycle. If you are working, you can get upto 3 or 4 depending on difficulty of work. I bought 500 meals worth of food, that should be enough for the 3 of us for 4 million seconds. Neo, bring 4 of each ration over and a jug of water." Neo brought over a jug of water first, then came back with 4 pieces of crackers, meat, cheese, and fruit. The jug was set on the ground, and when Rhav received the rations. Rhav handed 1 set of food to Taylor and 2 sets to Neo then spoke, "Neo, you get two rations because of the work you did." Rhav picked up the jug of water, drank some, then continued saying, "Both of you help your selves to water as well."Rhav placed the jug back down after looking at the two. After some time passed, Rhav took out a piece of paper that had a list of items on it. He started to explain the items on the list. After a brief explaination, he continued, "I have a single silver coin left. I''m able to make inscriptions like that cart bag you''ve seen so far. I''d like Taylor to sew another cart and 3-4 very large rucksacks. I''d like 2 rucksacks finished first, then the cart. After you finish a Rucksack, I can begin making inscriptions on a rucksack. When we complete a rucksack, we can sell it for a very high profit. Itused to take me 2.5-3 million seconds to make the last rucksack and cloth cart, but with your help I think we can reduce it to 1.75 million sconds. Today with the materials I got, we can make some more money. If we make enough, maybe we can get 1 more escort. Oh I just remembered something!" The trio looked at Rhav with questioning gazes as if saying, ''what are you saying or remembering?''. Rhav opened his mouth and dropped a bomb, "I was once told from myfather that my mother could use healing abilities, right now the core of my abilities are sealed, which is why i have issues walking, but now I have someone I can practice my abilities on! haha~. I''ve only used it once, and it was really really weak, but atleast I know I have the inherited ability for healing." The face Taylor was making was a wierd expression, "Young master, you can heal my legs?" Rhav wryly smiled, "Not right now, but in the future when I get my inherited abilities completely unlocked, uh, I once heard that my mother could reattach missing limbs." Taylor smiled in a way that showed the lack of hopeand said, "Young master, but my legs are disabled." Neo thought this was an interesting topic said, "Oh? What if we take someone elses'' legs, and give you those?" Rhav also liked this conversion and laughed saying, "Haha, where are we going to get legs?" Then Neo said something interesting again, "Someone who recently died?" Taylor and Rhav looked at Neo with interested looks. Rhav mentioned, "Well I have two victims to practice healing and sealing abilities on now haha. Who needs some old person''s legs?" Neoasked, "Young master, you said you have sealing abilities, but your abilities are also sealed? Why don''t you unseal them your self?" "Uh, I don''t know. I don''t think I have enough strength to remove it though?" Neo laughingly said, "Do you think I have enough strength to cut a tree down with a knife?" "No." Rhavwas questioning in his mind whether this was a rhetorical questions or not after he answered Neo. "It might take a long time, but I can slowly cut deeper and deeper in a tree, eventually cutting it down. Why can''t you do the same with the seal?" "I''ll atleast give it a try." Rhav nodded in agrement and then sat down criss-cross-applesauce. He started to breath in slowly, and concentrated on himself. After a while, he gathered his energy and circulated energy for unsealing on his fingers that was touching his navel. His body was starting to be covered in sweat while he was concentrating. After 4 thousand seconds, Rhav finally passed out while drenched in sweat, then vomited some black blood out of his mouth unconciously. Taylor wanted to help, but with damaged legs, she couldn''t stand without the help. Taylor said in a quiet voice, "(Neo, weshould bring) young master into the tent (to rest)." The first and last part wasn''t actually said, but Neo knew what Taylor meant. Neo just replied, "Okay." She placed Rhav into one of the new blankets still covered in sweat and wet clothes. She also helped Taylor to move into the tent too. Everyone went to sleep at this point. After Rhav woke up, he felt very sick. The other two also woke up because of his awakening. He spoke up, "Uh, why am I so sticky." Neo replied, "Young master, you were unsealing your self and started to sweat and even spat out black blood. After you passed out I brought you to the tent to rest." Rhav was a little irritated, "Why am I still covered in sweat and dirty clothes?" "Young master, we don''t have any other clothes for you here." "You could have just cleaned the ones I''m wearing? And," There was a pause, Rhav was experiencing a headache, andthe agrovation from talking was making it worse. He started to get cranky and complained, "Get a bucket and help me." After Neo helped with washing this unreasonable guy, he was still cranky, "My blanket is wet, were trading blankets. Go clean my clothes. I''m going back to sleep." She felt helpless dealing with her cranky young master. After she washed the clothes and came back, she saw Taylor''s eyes staring at her, as if they were laughing at her. Neo pouted and got into her sleeping bag blanket, and she just felt the cloth was still damp. She was getting irritated at this point, and started to silently cry. Rhav woke up after a good sleep, he was feeling a little cheerful and good. He saw Taylor was awake too, and asked, "Want some food too?" She nodded and Rhav saw Neo was still asleep so he went to get something for just the two of them. He first brought back a jug of water, then came back and handed a set of the same usual food to Taylor. WhenTaylor started to eat, Rhav started speaking, "I was thinking that we can start working on the goals I wanted." Rhav paused while chewing on some meat, then continued, "We need atleast 40 silvers to buy supplies for the trip to the new camp. I''d like to get upto 150 silvers so we can get supplies for a backup plan if everything fails." Rhav took a cracker with cheese into his mouth, continued, "We should get a second warrior or guard. If we want a tier 1 warrior, we''ll want 180 silvers to equip them too. We''ll also need about 30 silvers for Neo still." Taylor nodded in understanding, but Rhav wasn''t really looking at her when he placed some cheese in his mouth. He nodded in satisfaction for the cheese and continued to speak, "I''d like some variety in food before we get tired of the same food, right now I love the taste of the cheese. Well, anyways uh, I''ll walk home and bring all my books and supplies here. My dad doesn''t know I am doing all this, so I need to be super secretive. We''ll talk more when I get back. Keep Neo nearby until I get back to our little holding base. Any questions so far?" Rhav ate the dried fruit after asking the last question. Taylor shook her head and spoke in a very quiet voice, "None." Rhav nodded grabbed some water and gulpped some down then said while standing up, "Okay, I''ll leave now." 1.6 Blu - Rhav - Personality is a scary Rhav''s Holding Camp, Vicinity north of Empty Forest, Blu After Rhav told Taylor he was leaving he stopped near the entrance and said, "Make sure to let Neo know where I''m off to, and uh, tell her to not leave the camp and keep Taylor safe until I get back. Taylor your in charge until I get back. Make sure Neo eats and both of you wash up. I''ll be back as quickly as possible." Rhav made sure to bring the cloth cart with him before leaving. Chief''s House, Blu, Blu Gloria following Smith was walking towards the courtyard belonging to Taz. When the two walked towards the entrance gate, Smith recognized one of the guards and yelled, "Hey brother! Tell Taz''eye that someone is here to chat and brought along his daughter. Ask if he has time to see an oldfriend." The guard smiled and said, "Mr. Smith, I''ll have someone inform the Chief." The guard told the guard next to him to inform the Chief, and ask for 3 more guards to come to the entrance to releave himself so he can act as a guide. As the relief was within eye sight, two more people were also walking towards the courtyard entrance. Harvy and Lance were the two people walking towards Smith''s group. Lance took notice of Smith and yelled, "Hey yo Smith''eye! I didn''t know you wanted to meet up with ol'' Taz''eye too! Haha!" The large group of people were gathered in the waiting room while Taz just got the message about his friends. He said to a guard, "Tell Rhav to come down too." He left the room to meet his friends. After Taz arrived everyone got up. Taz said to his two friends, "Hey Smith''eye I have read your letter. Oh, and Lance''eye what brought you out of the forest?" Smith smiled and nodded. Lance yelled, "Hey yo buddy! Whacha bin up to Taz''eye! I came over to talk about the expedition. As part of the Warrior and Mercenary Union, everybody and their mother got the message about a new dangerous adventure. Apparentlyopportunities to make money and risk life, why don''t I see my only compatriot?" Taz smiled and replied, "Alright buddy! Let''s change our venue to my inner courtyard, I''ll prepare some snacks and tea." As everyone was preparing to leave, a funny scene was taking place. Rhav entered the room with what looked like an overly large cloth cart. Rhav continued to drag the cart to the stairs, then pull it up step by step. It looked like the effort he was using was very minimal, even though the cart looked so large. Taz rose an eyebrow, wondering since when was Rhav able to move around while doing labour like moving heavy objects around. After Rhav brought the cart up the stairs, Taz yelled up to Rhav, "Hey brat, come down here and tell us what are you doing with that cart?" Rhav came down the stairs then said with a smile, "Father, I''m moving some products and related suppliesfrom my room for a company I''m starting." "Oh? Since when has my son wanted to run a company?" "As far as I remember?" Rhav replied in a voice that sounded as honest as possible. "Keeping secrets from your father now? Do you want to get hit?" "Father! This child doesn''t dare!" "I bet you must be making lots of stone coins?" "Hehe, I''ve become unbelievably rich. In the future you can ask me for an allowance." Taz thought Rhav was making maybe a few iron coins, little did he knowhis profit could be measured in gold coins. After Taz remembered that ugly looking cloth cart he had to ask, "Did you make that ugly cart your self?" "Uh huh, I did father." Taz wasn''t really thinking about why Rhav wasn''t in bed, but dismissed him because of his friends he wanted to talk to and said, "You can run off and go back to whatever you were doing." Taz was shooing Rhav away. Smith looked at his daughter and said, "Gloria, go play with Rhav." Lance said something with similar intent but different words to Harvy, "You can go away too." Gloria replied, "Okay." Harvy didn''t even bother to reply with words and decided to follow the other 2. Rhav went up the stairs and started pushing his cart to his room. He started by placing the majority of his clothes into the cart, and a few blankets. Gloria was watching curiously and asked, "Why are you packing all your clothes?" "Hmm, that is because I have a warehouse were I build things, and I need clothes there." "What do you build?" "Things like this cloth cart or a type of rucksack and bag. I''m doing inscriptions on these. They can sell for lots of money too." "Oh, I didn''t know you were learning about inscriptions." Gloria thought this was an interesting topic, because she was learning enchanting. "Well, I''ve been wondering if the price for my stuff would go up a significant amount if I had my products enchanted after they were inscribed." Gloria wasn''t like Rhav who was aiming specifically for money, but having it allowed things that she liked alot. She immediatelythought and said, "Well, uh, what if, uh, we work together to make some money? Most inscriptions are usually sold at 15 silvers, so they don''t make lots of money. Enchanted items can sell for 10 times that amount. I''ll charge you 100 silvers for interesting things and 150 silvers for anything else. The normal rate for enchantments normally run about 200 silvers. I like enchanting wierd and new things, and normally I spend all my time doing the same enchantment on picks or swords. It''s very tedious and boring at times." Rhav thought about this topic, but ultimately knew that the enchantments that she knew was probably limited. However when he thought about enchanting the engravings them selves, maybe she could reinforce his product''s overall capabilities. He knew that enchanters could make expensive clothing tear proof, as well as act as an insulator and keep cloth clean. He decided to agree, but had an issue he needed to bring up, "Okay, but I''ll have to pay you the agreed amount after I sell my products. Also, no matter how high or low the items sell for, you''ll get the exact amount you agreed on. So you can''tcry when I sell my stuff for 5 thousand silver coins?" "If you can sell your little cheaply made cloth bags for so much, I might as well become a warrior. Haha!" "When you become a warrior, no one willhire you. Haha." "You can just hire me with lots of money." Rhav didn''t know how to respond, then changed the subject, "By the way, do you wana check out my two new servants I just got? One is skilled in sewing and leather work, and uh, the other is a tier 1 warrior. They both have serious injuries, but don''t forget I also have inherited healing abilities from my mother. I finally have guinea pigs to practice my abilities and increase my proficiency. If they were not injured to the extent where one of them can''t even move on their own, I wouldn''t have been able to afford either of them. Unless I was willing to get two unskilled children with no discipline or obediance, and I have no confidence in teaching and training." These children might not know, but Rhav''s statements are very jaw dropping. First, Rhav is the only person on Blu that had the ability to heal others with energy. Second, he as a child himself wanted to skip training other children, because his views on his teaching and training ability? Lastly, he got servants to practice healing abilities? Many people would beg to be healed, but alas, he couldn''t reveal his identity. Taz once told Rhav that he wasn''t allowed to tell outsiders about his inherited abilities because it could lead to his life being in jeopardy and endangerment or losing his freedom. Rhav considered the two others the same as him, because they also have secret inheritances and also knew them. The trio had abilities that could lead their life in peril if not protected. Harvy being a warrior himself could protect himself, but Rhav and Gloria were in a situation contrary to Harvy''s warrior status. Harvy, who was watching from the side, intterupted, "That''s very interesting, I wonder how strong other warriors are." "Don''t beat up on my warrior." Rhav started to frown. "Okay." Harvy didn''t really care and agreed. "So are the two of you going to the new camp?" Harvy nodded and replied, "Yup." Gloria on the other hand flatly stated, "Yes," paused, then continued: "are you planning to go to the camp too? I would think your dad would tell you that you can''t go though." "Ah, that''s right, your body is very weak isn''t it. Well, with servants, It doesn''t matter in the short term." At this time, Rhav had finished pileing stuff into his cart. The content could be divided into different catagories. Clothing and personal effects : It had 8 sets of casual clothes, 5 sets of work clothing, 2 sets of nice clothing, 2 towels, a blanket, 2 large pillows, an extra pair of shoes, pair of boots, bunch of rags. Materials and tools related to sewing: 400 yards of linen, 30 thin sewing needles, 12 medium sewing needles, 6 large guage sewing needles, 100 yards of medium brown/black yarn (cotton), 2 x 4 square yards tier 1 magical leather. Materials and tools related to inscription: 8sizes of different chisels, 1500 yards of 18 guage tin wire, 800 yards of 18 guage iron wire, 500 yards of 24 guage silver wire, 20 yards of 30 guage gold wire, 30 square yards of tin foil (0.005 inch thickness). Misc : Books related to clothing and design, Calligraphy Scrolls, Books and scrolls related to inscriptions and energy circuits, (books on : farming, cultural art, cultural music and songs, language and lore, smithing, cooking), writeing tools and ink, lots of blank paper and scrolls and books, as well as all his notes about inscriptions and sealing abilities and energies into inscriptions and cores. The cart looked full, and Rhav placed a blanket to cover all the books, scrolls, and papers so they don''t fly away from the wind. "Well, the cart is full... Can the both of you keep everything a secret?" "Sure," Gloria readily agreed. Harvy just shrugged and said, "I''m not going to make any promises." Rhav knew he wouldn''t be able to stop either of the two from following even if he wanted to, but at least he could tell them his wish for this to remain a secret. So the three left the room, with Rhav pulling the cart behind himself. Rhav''s Holding Camp, Vicinity north of Empty Forest, Blu They were traveling their way to Rhav''s Holding camp, Gloria and Harvy both thought it looked funny the small Rhav, who would normally be bed ridden and weak looking, effortlessly pulling the cart the size of a mini carriage. It was 6 feet by 6 feet, and a little over 4 feet tall. (AN: Sorry this is the first time I''ve mentioned the dimensions.) Rhav arrived at his destination with the two childhood friends following him, and he said, "Welcome to my holding camp. I''ll park this cart, and then I can show off my servants who in the future will leave others jellous." "I like how you refer to them, so right now they aren''t so great, hm?" Just at this moment, Neo came up to the group seeing Rhav, looking panicked, says hurridly, "Young master, something major happened while you were away!"A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation. "What?" "Taylor, she told me to say she is about to die..." "What happened?" Rhav replied in a commanding voice. "Urgh, well, after eating, Taylor told me that she was left in charge, and said that she had a task for me. She told me to say she was going to die. Urgh, Taylor explained it to me, but it was confusing, so, uh, young master," Neo started to fidget. She continuing after a short pause, "Young master! Please punish this one!" Rhav felt that a bucket of cold water was dumped on him just then. He realised that he had been played by Taylor, and it was simply Neo who didn''t understand the goal she had. Rhav felt very irritated at this point. "Oh? I''ll play your game, hmm, listen up Neo." Neo responded with a nod. Rhav continued saying, "This is not a game, you are to act like nothing is wrong, and you did everything Taylor said. Remember the following: Nothing went wrong, I believed it all, and I am very worried. Let''s go into the tent now." Rhav rushed into the tent, and took a moment to take a look at Taylor. Seeing Taylor still in bed and not moving, Rhav started to prove her condition with his ability. He felt she was in a much better condition than before they went to sleep. He noticed with his abilities that she was awake and her heart rate was normal. In a voice as soft as possible he said next to her ear, "Taylor, can you hear me?" She got goosebumps and shivered when she felt his breath on her ear. She tried her best not to respond, and decided it was safer to continue pretending to be asleep. She also convinced herself inthe belief that the question was for someone else. Rhav feeling the light movements from when Taylor shook from that shiver, he knew she could move and said, "So you even dare not to respond when asked a question?" Rhav was feeling very heated continued, "Fine." He stood up and said out loud, "From now on Taylor is not allowed to communicate anymore, unless given permission or is simple nodding or shaking of the head." Taylor sat up staring at at Rhav in disbelief. Rhav sneered, "You only respond after a punishment? You want me to pitty you? Then get Neo to pitty you, she''ll be allowed to talk with her free will, but you, Taylor, will not be allowed to talk with your free will. I thought we could be friends and get along, but alas, I don''t trust you anymore." Taylor started to cry, but made no noise of sobs. "Anything you''d like to say before you aren''t allowed to talk?" "Why? Why did you ruin my life? I was living happily, the next thing I can remember, I''m in a cage with broken legs. They say that I''m captured, because someone will eventually want a servant. So you are the reason I was captured. The whole memory erasing is just lies. I never had memories that needed to be erased, you are all just liars. I just never thought about it, I bet you paid them to directly do this to me. Hahaha." Before she could continue her laughter, Rhav said annoyed, "Enough! Taylor, You aren''t allowed to communicate anymore. Taylor, You are only allowed to nod and say yes or shake your head and say no when replying to a question. Also, Taylor, You aren''t allowed to start a conversation unless told to do so. From now on, Neo. Neo you are in charge of taking care of her from now on. Make sure she eats food so she doesn''t die." Taylor was staring at Rhav hatefully. Rhav sneered again at Taylor, "What, do you hate me that much?" Rhav didn''t expect a response, but Taylor said, "Yes." Rhav got infuriated over that. He jumped ontop of her and started to pull her hair then bit her right arm. Gloria gave a meaningful glance at Rhav, who at this point wasn''t paying attention. He felt like he lost a possible friend just now, after 20 seconds, he stopped biting and crawled from off top of her. Rhav said in a quiet and cold voice, "I hate you." At this point, Neo started to understand what happened and felt very guilty. With conviction, she picked up Rhav like picking up a fallen doll from the floor by his arm. He grimaced from the pain of all his weight on his arm, but was suprised the next moment. Neo was hugging him. He felt very overwhelmed by emotions and passed out. Looking at the passed out Rhav, she just stared at him. After 20 seconds she said, "Ah, did he die?" "This is normal, just move him to a bed. He''s always been very weak, and has a very sick body. He probably got overly excited, because whenever that happens he will faint. When he wakes up, just tell Rhav that in half a million seconds I''ll visit again for enchanting to make some money. Well, I''ll be off. Later." Harvy didn''t even bother talking, and followed Gloria on her way out. After some time passed, Rhav was inserted into his sleeping bag by Neo, then she stared daggers at Taylor complaining, "Why is it that I get the feeling that you think I betrayed you?" Taylor didn''t even respond, and just continued to stare. Neo just sighed. Some 15 thousand seconds later, Rhav POV I woke up, and the first thing I notice is Neo. She is using me as a hug pillow. Still feeling groggy, I rub my eyes. I notice that my shoulder is wet, and of course, it''s drool comming out of Neo''s mouth. Knitting my eye brows briefly for a moment, I was perplexed. I calmed down and told my self not to get angry. After rubbing my temples to calm my self down, I start to look at the face that''s next to mine in more detail. It appears that she''s having a happy dream, but at the same time It appears she''s also in pain for some reason. Then I remember that her body does have lots of scars and injuries. Maybe that''s the cause? I just wonder how she can sleep so peacefully with pain on her body. I realised that I can''t stay like this for too long. Maybe just a little longer wouldn''t be too bad. Then I remember all the time I used to spend in bed, and decided to get up immediately. I used to be jellous of everyone, because I was bed ridden most of the time. I still have health issues, but they are slowly disappearing overtime as my vitality improves. I end up getting very close to Neo bringing my mouth to her ear. I was going to wake her up, but after comming up with a wierd idea, I blow very gently into her ear. "Hehe," I snicker very quietly watching the sleeping reaction Neo gives twitching her face after playing with her left ear that''s close to me. Liking the feelingI get watching the sleeping Neo, I end up giggling again. I don''t know what''s wrong with me, but I think it''s time to wake her up. Speaking gently, "Wakey, wakey, eggs, and bakey." I end up talking gibberish, and shaking Neo on her shoulder. I end up pinching and holding Neo''s nose, because she didn''t even respond to my shoulder shake. I have the feeling this will definately wake this little girl up. After a moment of flailing her arms, my arm holding her nose gets nocked away, and my arm is in a little bit of pain. Bitting my lip, I decide just to use the brand to directly wake her ass up. Staring at Neo, I activate the brand. I watch as she wakes up from the brand. She awakens like a cat that has it''s tail stepped on. After a moment of befuddlement like glaze in her eyes, she stares back into my eyes with clarity. I can just imagine her saying, "I''m awake now," with the expression she has looking at me. "After I had uhh, passed out, what''s the status of the 2 guests I brought over?" I directly ask Neo, feeling awkward. "Ah, young master, uh the young miss, she said In uh half a million seconds, the young miss said she would come again for uh enchanting, ah yeah, and, to make some money." "That''s good news I suppose. Hm, what''s on the task list for us to complete?" "Young master, oh, uh oh yeah, young master, how did your unsealing go previously?" "Oh, I, uh, let me check then think it over." Sitting down crisscross applesauce, I meditated and realised that another 100 thousand times were needed, however I have the feeling the amount would rapidly decrease as the seal weakened giving the unsealing ability more strength. So maybe I could cut that 100 thousand to 5 thousand. After feeling the effects of how much looser the limit on my powers were, I knew I got about 10% stronger. I knew I could probably already heal Neo before, but now there is no doubt anymore. It would take more power for Taylor''s legs, but I''m not really in the mood to even think about her right now, I''m still unsatisfied with her. I don''t like liars, because they are fakes. My fatherhas told me about the fake ally in which he calls the bloody dark forest event, I know it''s an open secret, but it''s taboo to talk about it. Liars are just fakes, they are going to stab you in the back for all your stuff. Feeling I got off track in my mind, I nodded to my self, then expressed to Neo, "More good news, I already had the ability to heal you, but the amount of time needed to recover can be quicken without the loss of short or long term vitality as I get more proficient. Neo come over here and I''ll start a mild treatment for you. Tell me where all your injuries are, let me see them, then we will decide together the priority for the injuries." Neo looked hesitant, "Young master, I had my memories erased. I don''t know if I know them all." "Just show me your back, I''ll just start with the largest issues first. You can lay down right in front of me on the floor next to my sleeping bag, you can borrow my pillow. We don''t want blood on our sleeping bags afterall." Neo nodded and layed down on her stomach, then lifting her top, revealing her back to me. I was very suprised by what I saw, some of the scars looked like they were recent. Thinking maybe she was still being beat up until I got her. The skin had coin patterned prolonged bruises, which are bruises that look like stripes like you''d see on a tiger. Some of the bruises were rounder in shape, that you could tell wasn''t done with a whip, and blisters on some parts. I didn''t have experience with blisters, but knew some raw poisons could do something like this, but that only means that the abuse was done very very, very recently. Which corresponds with the memory removal of recent events too. She wasn''t too obvious about it, but I''ve had this gut feeling for awhile now. Simple rashes were very common, but this looked deliberate. She was obviously abused just because she could be abused. I started to feel bad, having her work and setup the tent with injuries that were in such bad conditions, but I need to think about this later and not now. Deciding to work on the blisters first, I knew that this was the largest source of pain and itchiness Neo had been tormented with. I left to grab a thin sewing needle, and came back. Using my ability to target the poison, acting like a magnet to bring the poison to the blisters with my energy, I pricked some of the very large blisters. What I was expecting came out. Bloody puss oozed out that came with what appeared to be black sand like balls. This black sand was concentrations of the poison and other impurities that got into her body over long periods of time. The treatment so far had light pain, as the poison had to travel from deeper in the body to the surface. As soon as the bloody puss was oozing out, he felt Neo relax all her muscles. I realise after removing 99% of the poison, that Neo probably has lost too much blood. She ended up passing out from blood loss. I need to pay more attention in the future. I could have killed her. I went to grab a jug of water and a rag. I cleaned up some of the skin as gently as I could as well as the blood that was dropped onto the tent floor. I''ll just have Neo stay on her stomach for a while. The air will be good for her back too, at least aslong as she doesn''t move around. After fetching more clean water another two times, I finished cleaning everything up and dumped the dirty water. I sat down on my bed, and decided to continue unsealing my self. I''ll eat later, I was a little hungry, but Neo is laying down. I''ll get something to eat when she wakes up later. Taylor''s POV I''ve been awake, and have been staring at the two sleeping for a while now. I know Neo is a little girl, shit, I know they are both children, but I can''t trust either of them. I''ve been staring daggers at them the entire time. This is completely unfair. I feel that there is a conspiracy somewhere and I''ll get to the bottom of this. I notice that the young master woke up. At first he appears to be confused, but then he starts to act deviously. I can see him rubbing his eyes then his temples, which is normal, but then he gets unbelievably close to Neo and starts to stare at her. I just have this feeling, I know that he is a devil. He gets very close to her ears and starts to whisper soo quiet that I can''t hear him. I just knew he was a bastard. He started to snicker after that, I''m wondering if Neo is awake too. They are making fun of me or making jokes, I just know it. I watch as he starts to sniff Neo, and I grit my teeth, he is obvious a beast in human skin. Hearing his giggles after doing that isn''t cute at all, it''s just creepy. He starts to shake her and speaks tongue or secret code. Neo isn''t responding, and is just continuing to lay there. After he started to play with her nose, she punched him, giving away that she''s awake. She then pretends to wake up and make a big deal out of nothing. You aren''t fooling me, I saw that punch, I knew you were already awake. They started to talk in a voice I could hear. "After I had uhh, passed out, what''s the status of the 2 guests I brought over?" I hear that, I don''t know what to think of those two individually, they are mysteries to me. But if they are friends with a devil, they are probably not good people. "Ah, young master, uh the young miss, she said In uh half a million seconds, the young miss said she would come again for uh enchanting, ah yeah, and, to make some money." Yeah, they only care about money after all. Everyone is a devil. "That''s good news I suppose. Hm, what''s on the task list for us to complete?" Feeling depressed that he''d still want us to do his bidding, I felt this was unfair. Why did this happen to me. "Young master, oh, uh oh yeah, young master, how did your unsealing go previously?" Oh, something interesting came up. He did say he would heal me, the least the devil could do. "Oh, I, uh, let me check then think it over." Yeah, just pushing it off. I ended up watching as he sat down on his bed and looked like he was going to sleep. I just decided to ignore the rest of it all. "Young master, I had my memories erased. I don''t know if I know them all." I gained focus when I heard Neo asking that question. I don''t believe I ever had my memories tampered, I feel they are making fun of me again. These brutes. Going to continue ignoring them. At some point when I glance over, Neo is sleeping, and the young master is sitting on his bed again meditating. Neo''s clothes are left open as she is laying down on her stomach on the cold floor. That''s no way to treat a lady. I''m going back to sleep. Maybe I''ll wake up from this nightmare. Neo''s POV After those 2 guests left, our young master was sleeping soundly. I ended up sleeping next to him. While sleeping, I had a nice dream. In my dream I was smiling at a picnic, and I was with someone, but I don''t remember who. I woke up in pain from the brand. Staring at my young master, I notice drool on his shoulder, and instantly think that he''s mad at me. I end up just staring back at him though. I notice he''s holding his wrist, I wonder if he hurt it somewhere. "After I had uhh, passed out, what''s the status of the 2 guests I brought over?" Not thinking clearly at the beginning, I replied, "Ah, young master, uh the young miss, she said In uh half a million seconds, the young miss said she would come again for uh enchanting, ah yeah, and, to make some money." "That''s good news I suppose. Hm, what''s on the task list for us to complete?" "Young master, oh, uh oh yeah, young master, how did your unsealing go previously?" "Oh, I, uh, let me check then think it over." I watch as the young master sits and calms down. He looks very smart when he calms himself down like that. Watching the young master nod to himself, he expresses to me, "More good news, I already had the ability to heal you, but the amount of time needed to recover can be quicken without the loss of short or long term vitality as I get more proficient. Neo come over here and I''ll start a mild treatment for you. Tell me where all your injuries are, let me see them, then we will decide together the priority for the injuries." I replied, "Young master, I had my memories erased. I don''t know if I know them all." "Just show me your back, I''ll just start with the largest issues first. You can lay down right in front of me on the floor next to my sleeping bag, you can borrow my pillow. We don''t want blood on our sleeping bags afterall." I just weakly nodded, layed down on my stomach, I removed my shirt, revealing my back to the young master. It wasn''t too cold in the tent. He left and came back with a needle. I''m not worried, just curious. My body is in pain, but I''ve just been ignoring it. At some point, I felt a refreshing tingle on my skin, my body felt like it was going numb, and I felt very relaxed and comfortable. At some point I passed out.
