 Chapter 1 framed

    Aries was a royal Phoenix, royal Phoenix remember their life as a Phoenix and the memories carried over. Along with their powers. Meaning it carried over into their next lives. She was turning 500 years old and sweeping the floor as always.

She had raised most of them from a young age like a mother would. Ridus her only male sibling was cast out for being not a Phoenix. Phoenixes were supposed to awaken at age 9 with their powers. A sigh escaped her as she thought of how rough his life most be to be thrown away at that age.


    They, the Phoenixes lived on a floating island. They''ve been at war for many generations and centuries against the dragons. So finding out that her brother was a Chaos dragon it was only reasonable that he was casted aside. She sighed, she was only 158 years old at the time he was casted out. She had no power to go against the mass. She was protecting the rest of her siblings as best as he can after that. Her age was now 500, her best friend Flora seemed more excited than her.


    "So what do you think of dragons." (Flora)


    Seeing her giggle, Aries raised a eyebrow as she just lightly smiled. "Cocky, arrogance, and short tempered. Well that''s only for most of them. The rest are ok since their blended into modern society."


    "So anything about the elders." (Flora)


    Aries groaned,"Don''t get me started they want me to do requests for killing monsters, people and other races. So are the missions they sent me. Which I denied, I only do things such as healing, helping the people and training the younger generation."


    "Don''t forget taking in the children and taking care of them." (Flora)


    A smile came from Aries as she gave her best friend a happy expression.


    "Any news on your little brother." (Flora)

    Aries rolls her eyes as she went to put on her clothes. Earlier she was in a yukata instead. So she''s now in her miko outfit the only different is the bottom was red instead of blue like the nobles. She carefully followed the grey stepping stones to outside Flora''s mansion. She enjoyed much of the time she spent with her friend just chatting to release stress. The elders which she spoke with Flora were old Phoenixes that made the rules and laws for them to live with. They had more authority in the say of things that went on the island.


    Her parents couldn''t do much about the decisions decided by those elders. She clutched for her jade pendant on her neck. But remembering she lost the pendant the day before. It was the only thing her mother gave her. When she was young she was so happy about it, but now that she thought back on it her mother didn''t care about it. Much to her sadden mood she tried to rid herself of. She was 500 years old, which in Phoenix years barely a teen. A adult in Phoenix years was 2500 years old. She was much too young and inexperienced by their standards.


    Aries seemed confused when she saw her siblings pointing their bow and arrow at her. These sisters she helped raise were holding their weapons to her.

    Aries blinked at her younger sister, she was with Flora for the past day or so. The day before that she was at the hot springs which she lost her pendant.     Aries'' eyes widen as she saw the green haired man in a casual fashion. A buttoned up t-shirt with short sleeves, black jeans and brown boots. She knew his eyes anywhere, it was her 9th younger sibling Ridus. He who was casted aside by her parents. His right eye was silver while the left one was a blue color. Ridus stared back at the beautiful lady in front of him, her turquoise hair color was stained in her silver blood. His eyes narrowed to her chest, his only though was so she inherited mother''s genes with the giant chest. But his eyes widen as he fell on the arrow coming out of her.


    "Sister what happened to you? What would lead to have the gentle you in such a state? To be pierced by another royal''s arrow." (Ridus)


    "Framed." (Aries)


    He stared at her blinking as he looked around the forest to see the damage. They were in a forest clearing but he still looked around and shocked to see the star the forest was in.

Yet today on my birthday when I''m heading home I get ambushed by my sisters asking why''d I kill a noble''s house without leaving anyone alive. They seemed shocked.     Ridus turned into his human form and blended into the crowd in front of the nobles area.

    Ridus stood in front of the white board and wrote down some sentences in English as he held the book in front of him. He was a teacher for a bunch of girls at an all girls school.

    Shiki couldn''t see Izumi''s wings but she knew something was different about this person compared to others.

    Her brother went silent as he put his hand into his pockets as he looked at the ceiling. He taught a all girls school. He choose the environment so that his sister would interact more with others. Her human family, she had the choice to use her powers which she herself forgot about because she chose peace and quiet life instead. But the price she had to pay was her family were killed along with villagers. Later she lost her sanity and went on a rampage killing things in sight. He couldn''t do much but end the 11 year old her.

    Her sister''s eyes widen in shock as Izumi jumped out the window and flew away.

 Chapter 4 shock and destination

    Izumi stared at the cemetery after she slaughtered millions of souls. Many she didn''t care much for as Ridus said before this isn''t you. But she knew she had to change, for the better or being kind will have her killed again. 50 people she killed were gangs or corrupt, vile officials. The rest were innocent people she slaughtered along her way here to the cemetery. She combed her hair to the side.


    "Sister why? They weren''t meant to die like this." (Ridus)


    "Really brother sharing my sight no thanks to that lost art of yours and that''s your comment." (Izumi)


    "Your wings are no longer white! They''re turned into a crimson red that''s dyed in blood. How can you do this." (Ridus)


    "Ridus, brother you wouldn''t agree even if I told you. Actually you''d probably go ahead and end me like last time too. Saying this was the path of evil. But say didn''t my path go downhill that day when I was 500 years old." (Izumi)

    Izumi noticed Shiki using a invisibility spell and a smile crossed her face. She knew they could hear her conversing with Ridus.

    "No sister you can still stop this. What do you mean souls of the dead I shall sacrifice you for the greater good. Stop this I tell you." (Ridus)


    Ridus cried as he tried to get himself out of the seal.

    Izumi eyed her gentle blue eyes and her wavy pink hair that was up to her shoulder. Her friend and the general in command of them back then was Grace. A smile formed from her but it was a full of sadness cause she knew her commander would do anything for her and her fellow soldiers.


    "I just broke the taboo and killed millions to revive you. Of course it''s without permission of the god that rules the heavens. Also I have my own plans." (Izumi)


    "Sister wait." (Claira)


    "Change comes slowly but surely. As they say change yourself to adapt to the situation by the way Claira my next destination is the 15th hell circle. There''s 30 in all but the place I wish to go is there don''t stop me." (Izumi)


    She opened up a portal and walked through to the 1st circle then teleported herself to the 15th circle.


    "Aries don''t do this. You hated being down here when you were here in one of your life as a demon." (Ridus)


    Her eyes twinkled as she caught what she was looking for a distortion in between the dried up grey berry trees that seemed to be dying. She waved her hand and dissipated the distortion to show a graveyard of bones.


    "Where is this." (Ridus)

Her older sister Hima was a angel and had turned into a demon during the time when Hina was still a human. This is the falling grounds of those that died during the first generation of angels.  Chap 5: 1st trial grounds

    Ridus ran towards the cemetery once the barrier seal came undone. His sister had locked him there prior to stop him from ruining her plans. She knew that if she''d do the ritual or go to the 15 hell circle her brother would try to kill her on the spot and she wouldn''t get otherness chance. Once there he say his 2nd older sister Claira stand there shocked as she turned on the news.


    "Ladies and gentlemen we''re live on channel 670, on the 10 o''clock news. This is just in there was a crazed mass murder that slaughtered people on the street as she went past. It was a grey haired woman with a blue armor and Crimson red angel wings. It was recorded on the cameras that she was holding twin kantanas cutting up people. Not just on this street but many others. She had appeared all over. There is even photoage of her killing government officials in cold blood without remorse. People I''m talking about a psychopath living amongst us without us even knowing. Who is next. This is Elena reporting from the crime of the scene."


    "This isn''t sister is it." (Claria)


    She was shaking in anger and confusion why had her sister change so much after all these years. Grace didn''t seem too shock she just stared at Ridus.


    "Boy your the one always with her. Do you get what made the quiet, nervous and friendly girl change drastically." (Grace)

Annoyed she pulled out her spear and charged it as she spread her wings. She tried to fly at it full speed and drill through. Rather she was instead swatted away like a fly. Her wings weren''t damned but she staggered to her feet. She didn''t get hurt but she had realized getting hit was going to be annoying to her in more ways than one. First was her stomach felt nauseous like she had motion sickness.


    Second she was seeing double when she knew there was only one of them. Izumi glared back at the golem as it crashed it''s fist downwards at her. "You know for a cocky golem, you should be happy that I''m not even using the weapons I''m good at. Which is swords, archery, and spells. Be happy you get my spear instead," she mocked.

 Ch 6 2nd trial grounds; his self righteous

    Izumi dodged the golem''s punch as she side stepped. She was still being stubborn about using her handicap of using her spear which she barely started to use in this life. She didn''t want to us either her kantana unless necessary. The golem pounded the area where she was at earlier. Annoyed Izumi threw her spear at the core in the golem''s chest making the golem stop completely.


    She sighed as she took a breath since she knew she was rusty from all the years of hiding with her brother and on the run from Flare.

    Claria glared at Ridus, she knew it was a bad thing to leave her sister to this idiot to look after her. First of all his world is seen in black and white they weren''t getting anywhere if they left her with him.

    The last trial was fighting against soul reapers. And they were all A ranked she could barely even breath because though they were soul reapers in this world and many others rank A soul reapers eat people alive along with their soul to maintain their youthful appearance and peak condition bodies. She was ok if it was S rank since she''d be able to breathe at least but she cursed when the trial grounds let loose A ranks. S rank soul reapers keep a tight leash on souls and balance the world itself.


    "Those things were too close for comfort. Ugh they always go for the guts and stomach. I''m just glad I had regeneration when they took a arm or so. I had to kick them off. Even the vampires didn''t go that far. That was scary as hell. My arms still have goosebumps from it. Ah if I get back I''m staying away from any pretty boy or beautiful girls for a while. Seriously it was even confusing since they looked humans. If not for that stupid floating message in the sky warning me the start of the 13th trial had unleashed those things I swear I''m going to probably flip by then."


    Izumi threw away her half eaten arm and regenerated a new arm. She was nearly thrown off when the little girl came up to her and said hi before lunging herself at Izumi. It made her cringe as she picked up her wakizashi. Her left hand tightly gripped her kantana. Instead she fell to the ground as her weapon was recalled into her storage.


    She let out a scream as she felt her body change, her bones were reconstructing herself as her race was changing to that of a devil. In place of her angel wings two dragon like wings grew. Her hand clawed at the black sand as she felt her hand changing into claws. There were three type of devils: those that look like a dragon demihuman with human features but instead had horns and a third eye in the forehead, then there was those that looked like a succubus, and lastly those that looked like a ordinary human but had only a tail. Izumi was changing to the first one co her whole body was changing at a very high rate that was consuming her energy.


    What she didn''t know about devils were that they needed bloods kinda like vampires but there''s a difference they eat souls and blood. Her hair changed from a grey color to amethyst color. Both her eyes changed to a green color. She tried to open her eyes but it stinged. (She was seeing too much at once so she had to close her eyes again plus her body was still reforming.) The sides of her arms and legs were scales forming. Horns were forming on her head, she couldn''t bear it and fainted.


    Devils often killed without being conflicted since it was done as to quench their hunger. If ignored too long, the devil will go insane. Or they could kill and use the souls as meals. It was inherited in their memories with gen skills from their lineages.


    Soul reapers lower than rank A were normal individuals that died from accidental deaths indirectly by someone or directly. They as individuals had no clue as what led to their deaths thus have to live as soul reapers to help manage the worlds they live in or the planets they were on. As Izumi mentioned they have ranks among themselves and rank S and Rank SS fights against ranks A to keep the world in balance.


    (Ranks: SSS < SS < A < B < C< D < E < F < G. But soul reapers skip ranks G > E, F > D, E > C, D > B, C > A, B > S, except A ranks stays the same and S can turn to SS.)


    Soul reapers can be considered a different race or they can be considered a class. Depending on who the person is. These soul reapers can also reincarnate lost souls or spirits. They help manage the souls in the cycle of reincarnation the only one that doesn''t apply to that rule is the Rank A''s that love to eat souls while tormenting their victims while eating them alive and aware. Those souls eaten don''t get a chance at reincarnation.     A ranks can be found in a forest clearing at nights eating people. So most people avoid clearings in the forest at night unless they''re confident of fighting against one. As she and the Phoenixes grew up it''s often used to tell stories to scare children to not run off into the forest or be weary when you meet a soul reaper. Sure there were death gods too helping manage worlds but they themselves avoided rank A''s. Even normal people (humans) knew better since they themselves were the one that spread information.


    Disaster class if you must label them. Normally you wouldn''t want to meet one. Seeing one in a trial is already considered having bad luck. Seeing a army of millions (which in the case of the mc) is considered like a curse luck where you meet them isn''t possible. Because they only gather in groups of tens. Seeing more than that is asking for opposing individuals to kill each other on the spot. If your luck is good those individuals that hate each other will kill themselves. The worst news is who ends killing you. Outrunning them is the worst plan cause they can out run you. Flying away will just have them teleporting to you. Since they''d track you down by soul.


    So Izumi had no choice but to slaughter her way through the millions of A ranked soul reapers. She did get creeped out by seeing too many of them.

    Her third trial was two earth dragons, earth dragons aren''t normal they''re insane and attack based on instincts. They''re dangerous since they can''t really think and attack according to their stomachs instinct. These dragons are always hungry no matter what you do or feed it, taming them is a no go. Only a idiot would try to tame it, which can become the cause of many deaths for those that think it''s a normal dragon. Cause of death rate for trying to do so is in 7 millions. Even Izumi knows better and the quickest way to free a earth dragon is killing it.


    The 4th trial was 700,000 demons raiding her as she defended a castle. She was cursing at the fact that she didn''t read any strategy books. 5th trial was a war with snow dragons on mountain. She was pissed at whoever made these trials so annoying because fire magic wouldn''t work on snow dragons and she had to fight them on their home terrain with cliffs and snows. She had use her fists since one of her kantana broke. (Do note she had to fight them in their dragon form)


    Snow dragons live in snow mountains their love for cliffs is their joys. They hate socializing with outsiders, have a human form but they don''t fight in it cause they''re uncomfortable in it. Unless it''s a special individual that specializes himself in fighting as a human. Snow dragons have a thing for shiny objects, very peaceful unless a idiot goes into their territory. Known to be very territorial, will attack a person on sight for trespassing. (That''s why she got annoyed by the trials. It''s situations you hate the most.)


    Her 6th trial was against divine beasts. A very peaceful race, their love for nature and life is what makes them loved and easily tamed. The trial made her appear near them destroying the forest near them which got her chased down. (Yep she swore that the one that made the trial wasn''t out to get her.)


    7th trial helping the mermaids against Leviathans. Which nearly killed her from a blast it used. Leviathans are considered demihumans and they are all pretty and are known for their eccentric personality. When angered they can flood many continents, avoid lands loves being near the sea. It''s very rare to see such a monster in land. If you do it''s best to befriend them not anger, she was very tired by end of this trial after injuring the male leviathan.


    8th trial going against a destruction dragon which she got herself wiped out making her really moody. (Her brother is also a destruction dragon.) Destruction dragons were immortal, can''t be killed with weapons, curse or spells. She tried to send him into a black hole she got herself blasted after it came back. Leaving her depressed. It can''t even die by a weapon that is also used to kill a immortal. Which she yelled cheat.


    9th trial she had to fight Flora her best friend which ended up with a close win. She was mentally drained from all the illusion spells casted on her. 10th trial appeasing centaurs, ended with her hanging her head in a headache. She tried to negotiate peacefully and ended up in prison and tortured being suspected for a spy. Trial then ended after that.


    11th trial decision to save either her brother (Ridus) or her sisters. Her automatic answer sisters. Cause her brother was hypocrite and he''d survive either way.


    12th trial fighting herself as Aries, she killed other her cause her overpowered 12 wings as angel and her otherlife abilities and powers that carried over.

 Ch 8 noticing mentality changes

    Izumi woke up disoriented as she she stumbled backwards and sat down. "If I find the one that created this trial I''m going to break a few bones while I''m at it. One for annoying me, two for playing with my dead friends memories, three using me in my first life has me angry enough to kill you, four you purposely drop me on the most territorial beings'' homes, five you got me nearly killed by ranked A soul reapers, and six for throwing me with earth dragons that have bottomless stomach that is always hungry I no longer pity you for creating this cursed ground."

    She looked at her own hands and arms they were bloodied with her dried blood. But what confused her is her blood was gold like the gods, she knew she was close to ascension but turning to a devil shouldn''t have caused her to turn into one either.     "I''m a devil but that doesn''t concern you about my race. Rather shouldn''t you be bothered by the fact that your arm is no longer regenerating." (Izumi)


    "Seems your insane. My name is Delos the ruler of the 15 circle! How dare you look down on me."

    ''Wait did my mentality just change out of no where. There was no sign of it at all,'' Izumi thought to herself.

 Ch 9 changes to Shiki and truth of Izumis emotions to her brother

    Izumi smiled as she clawed at Delos. Delos cursed in his head, she can''t be reason with. Her hand landed on where he was standing before creating a crater. ''That''d be me if I didn''t dodge.'' He started to cold sweat as he tried to dodge her kick. Instead neither he nor Izumi noticed that she was moving based on instincts. Delos had dodged by a paper thin width from her kick, his cheek bled as he backflips away.


    His whole being was screaming that it was frighten by her. She seemed to not mind, he noticed her pupils were unfocused.


    "This is the worst am I going to die by this insane girl. She''s worst than a self aware vampire."


    Izumi had already beeen unconscious due to her hunger winning. So she was attacking him due to her instincts.


    Meanwhile....


    "I dislike you." (Shiki)


    "Wait what is happening to her. There''s energy gathering around her." (Grace)


    "It''s never happened before. But this phenomenon of negative energy I would never forget. Those energy of negative creates a destroyer. Their race is made from negative energy this is a first time a human is turning to one." (Flare)

She just looked at Ridus pitying, the emotions she felt from Ridus and what she knew she saw from Izumi throughout the years told her a story. One that even a idiot would get, Izumi had stopped caring for Ridus because he kept killing her. But she had owed him for saving her back in her first life. Though he undid all that by killing her in many of her lifetimes. Rather what she didn''t get was the emotions she got from Izumi when she first revived her. Now she did amusement, anger, hatred, and killing intent.
