《Decoder;Deconstructor》 Prologue.. Somewhat.. Prologue ~ Edited by: Arthur300000 Within the few days I have been jailed by some stupid scammer, I could say that people now think of me as either a smartass since "I tried to steal from my own company", or a fool for getting caught. In the beginning it all started with me as a "special" programmer working on a "special" part of a game that had been extremely popular worldwide. It was to my utmost ability that I held my title as Professional Multi-program creator, and yes I made that title up myself. After all the years I lived as a working student interested in the technological world that makes programs, websites, even operating systems, I felt overjoyed when I was offered a crazy gig for a recently ultra popular game. However, the game, the way it works, the online system they created was complete shit. I honestly don''t know how people would even like this game as a standalone type. Against all odds, I worked and worked my ass off to create the ultimate system that held this all in one piece, and when I had finished, I was rewarded well for my performance. Yet in the end it was all fucking useless as I had been framed to have stolen information that I had not even been aware about. This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. After the time where I was convicted, the people that I had worked hard for, had turned against me and made a video with the lawyer I had. As you would guess, I was played, and the lawyer was in cahoots with the fuckers that I was loyal with. I don''t know why they were against me, but I planned on fucking getting them back and destroying everything that I did for them. As of now, I have been living away from society in a prison cell, although I thought it was going to be bad, its not as bad as I expected. Before I even stepped in this place, I had thoughts about what the people would be like, if I would get messed up or if the time here would pass by quickly. The only question out of the 3 that gave me a specific answer was the last one. I am slowly losing my fucking mind staying in here, so much that it feels like I want to vomit and spill out my guts and just die. Its only been a week but it feels more like a month. Still, who knew that I would be given another chance to live in another world... Not even I could have expected for that outome. Chapter 1: Unexpected explanation Edited by: Arthur300000 On the third day of the second week that I had been asleep, a person appeared flying near the ceiling to my cell. At first I had thought that I was going crazy, but as I asked who it was, he answered clearly. "I am someone you will probably hate, or worship" At this I gave a very confused expression as I began to notice that the area around me distorting. It was a second later that I had found myself in some sort of white blank space, and it took me another second to notice that I wasn''t the only one here. People, they were all around me in this empty place, but not just a small group, you could compare this place to the mall on boxing day, only people were rather confused than angry savages. After a brief moment of just people talking, that flying person appeared, and I noticed that he looked rather odd wearing some type of white long coat that looked too big for him as he looked around the size of a kid. "Greetings mortals, I know many of you do not understand what just happened to you, but as you can see, you have all been transported along with many other people that you know nothing about" He stood silent as many started looking around. People started to talk and it began to get noisy within seconds. "Now now, settle down, I''ll explain what''s happening." The Person had a hood covering the his face from the lighted blank area, but it was easy to see that he was smiling. In the next moment, he rose his hand towards the whole lot of confused people, and we all began to flash oddly. This made many people begin to whisper and talk. "As you can all see, this is what most of you mortals in your world would call "Supernatural", but in the world I have come from, this is often known as magic" He lowered his hand as he again spoke up "What I have just now done is bestow upon an ability to use your talent in your old world in a peculiar way, however this talent will reflect on your skill and ability with it. If you have multiple talents or capabilities then you may choose one on your own, how you gain it is up to you" The boy lowered himself as a white large flat part of the surface rose for him to stand on. "Many of you will have to find your own way of attaining power, as in the next second all of you will fall into another world with the ability that I will bestow on you all, but before you go, just take note that some of those abilities are not magic, they are refered to as skills, you will see for yourself what it is you do with it", After he had said that, I could hear that some people in the crowd didn''t sound too happy to hear that. "What the hell are you saying?!" "Explain!!" And even more things were said afterwards, the kid on the surfaced white flat area rose his hands as to quiet us down. "I should have explained before but due to my impatience I guess I got too carried away, I''ll explain" The kid crossed his arms as he was about to speak. "You should take note that you are no longer on Earth, the reason for that is because I had brought you here at random, and if you are to ask how I would be capable of such a thing, all I will say is that I am a god" As he claimed to be a god, I heard people all around me to let out small gasps of astonishment. I myself was also suprised among the many individuals surrounding me. "On my own ideals I thought about giving either a gift of some sort to you that are either suffering or living the life that you''ve always wanted, but please note that this world is just as difficult as your own, maybe even harder. All the choices you make will reflect on your own life just like the world you lived in before" People began silently talking while he was still explaining stuff. Most of the people around stood quiet for a moment, but thinking about it simply made me want to ask, so I rose my hand like I was in a classroom and the supposed god noticed me and signaled me to speak with his hand. "Um... What if there are people here that have no talents, or that have no profession of any sort?" I asked quickly as everyone looked at me. I could say I was feeling a bit sheepish. Just a bit. After a second or two he quickly opened his mouth to speak once more. "Good question, As most people do have talents, some have hidden talents that they have not yet found, and those that don''t have anything whatsoever, the last resort to the ability that I had bestowed will take the thing you want most and create an ability that well fits them, at least thats what I know of it. Are there any more questions?" Some of the things that he said made people a bit afraid of what would come next. As I was zoning out and thinking about these "gifts" that god was talking about, another asked a question. "Is there anyway to return to earth?" the guy asking the question had a shaky voice as he said that, many could see that he feared something might happen. "Hmm, no, I don''t know of a way out other than summoning. If you get an ability to move through dimensions then maybe you could, who knows?" After saying that, the god began to smile wickedly. "So cease all of this pointless questioning, you''re all going to go, no matter what" He pulled down his hood to reveal blood red eyes like that of a demon, and horns began to form on his head. The wicked smile and eyes made him look like a crazed lunatic, however, I don''t think he''s the type of god people would think he is. At his appearance people were bewildered, I could notice some were on the ground crying, and after the first few seconds had passed people began to slowly lose their minds. At least thats what I thought. "Are you Fucking with me!? Theres no way in hell I''ll do as you fucking say you shit! Put us back where we were!!" People demanded to be returned but the god-claming demon kid didn''t do anything but smile, and all I did was simply watch with an impassive expression on my face. I saw that there were others like me and some were quite disturbed by the appearance of the demon god kid. After a brief moment of only screams and shouts aimed at the god, he then spoke, with just a word to silence everyone. "Hey...." With a smile he rose his right arm and with his hand faced up, his fingers pointed at the one that shouted at him in the front. He rose his finger up with a flick quick enough to remove the head of the man, the sudden movement shocking everyone around. "I specifically told you all to stop asking questions, any more and I might have to kill whoever speaks up next" People were now definetly afraid of the being standing in front of us, I could even smell shit in the air as people were currently shitting themselves as of this moment. No one dared to speak any more as the god had ordered, his face made a wry smile as he moved his hand again facing an empty area within the bounds of the blank dimension. He had created a portal in a matter of seconds. "This portal will take you to the other realm, as many of you will be passing through this, those who wish to go back can stay... But if you do, expect great regret to fill you soon" most of the fear-shaken people had moved towards the portal, those that stayed were little, I , like most, moved towards the portal. Before the first person had even touched it the god said one last thing. "Don''t expect to see me anytime soon, but I will be watching all of you" It was the last part of the sentence that sent a chill down most of our spines. I was getting closer to the portal and as soon as I touched it, it sucked me in. Chapter 2: Under the sky of another fucking world!! Edited by: Arthur300000 Falling through the portal was odd, it didn''t make me feel nauseous and I''m still here, falling towards another fucking world. My life has gone to shit, but if that damn god was for real, and I know I wasn''t dreaming, then I guess I really could change something about myself. I felt something come to a halt as I was falling towards another portal outlet, or at least thats what I thought it should do. The next few seconds I felt a faint electrical charge go up my hand and was thrown into water. I Struggled with the water, but the water still wouldn''t go down. After a short few seconds I found out that it was shallow.
Your battle with the water has given you a feeling of vigor!

?The fuck is this? Is this supposed to be a fucking game? And my battle with the water didn''t make me feel shit! Wait a minute, a notification window? But how? Something like this shouldn''t exist, technology isn''t capable of that. I''m not much of a video game person, but I''m sure there''s something seen very often in role-playing games that charaters refer to as their build, if I''m right, this "status" or "stats" thing might exist. No, what the fuck am I thinking, something like that can''t exist! I crossed my arms and focused on my thoughts. Okay, so first of all, I have been told by that god that I have been transported to this world, and that he had given us this gift. Could this be the gift as he called it? But he also said that whatever talents a person has would have a power based on it. Hell, something like this is complicated, being thrown into another world so suddenly without being told what to do is like telling a man to shoot their precious dog Fluffy. I would never want to kill Fluffy if it ever came to it. Hm, judging the situation, by getting sucked into that portal and now that I''m all wet, maybe that "status" thing will work. Yeah, might work for fucking losers, I''m getting out of this fucking place. I got out all wet from what looked like a lake. While taking off my white shirt to wring it as dry as I possibly can I decided to look around. I figured this lake would be surrounded in a forest, but this forest looked to be so abundant in plant life that almost seemed as if no had ever been here. I could be wrong, but this place seemed really empty, I suppose a town or a city would be seen if I could just climb a tree, but I think I should figure out a bit about myself before doing something like that. I don''t feel any different, except the lingering electrical shock from my arm that I got from the portal. If what happened in the portal didn''t happen, I wonder if I would still be here. I plan to take this world by the horns with this newly attained power, once I know whatever the fuck it really is. I looked up, attempting to guess the time. Sadly it proved useless as I had no idea where north was, or if this new world even functioned the way earth did. After sitting around for a bit trying to recollect my thoughts, I sprang up and started to looked around. The forest that surrounded me was thick, all I could see were trees and leaves, the skies were empty, and the lake was only about 12 metres wide. I couldn''t hear a single thing within this area, so I took a mental note that sound was probably key to figuring out how to get out of this place. The only other way of getting out of the forest was by climbing trees. The closest tree to me seemed pretty big, and had many branches on it, with the first foot on the ledge on its stump, I pushed forward to grab another branch higher up. I fucked up since I didn''t see the moss on the tree stump, but that failure actually helped me fall onto a dirt path. I took in notice that this place was recently visited as the trails on the dirt path seemed recent... From like.. An hour ago?, this probably means that my observation skills are shit as well as my thinking skills since I was wrong about this place being empty. Help support creative writers by finding and reading their stories on the original site. The uniformed orange prison pants that I wore were also wet but the day felt warm like summer, so I don''t think it would be necessary to take them off. With a quick pace I began to walk on the path. The path didn''t seem to be scary since this forest is covered with a lot of plant life, or maybe since I wear glasses all the time I couldn''t see this path? (*Fun Fact*: honestly I (The Author) actually do wear glasses if I never said so before, but this doesn''t really have anything to do with the story :/ ) I had my thoughts go around my head as the boredom of walking this path was no different then taking a walk to the park. But it was a new thing to see, and I like to see new things, as long as it''s not inconvienient. As walking the path was quite boring, I couldn''t run because of my crap stamina, its been like that since I became a computer addict, and personally I think its somewhat of a problem. Yet despite that I think I''ll work on that later as walking right now seems to be better than wasting my energy running. I mean literally, If I had no energy to move after running on the path then I would be screwed now wouldn''t I? I took in the idea that magic exists too, but I have my doubts because of how stupid it would sound, Ignorance sounds less stupid than magic. Somehow though, I feel compelled to try something out, its just been bothering me, like a small itch on the area near your balls where no matter how many times you scratch it, it won''t fucking leave. (If you''re a woman.... I am terribly sorry) I''ve seen it being done by monks and people who can do the "supernatural" on television, maybe trying something like that while I''m walking wont hurt. First, I started to focus on my hands just like what any other person would do on television, next the idea of "feeling" out your power was what I did next while I was walking. I kept on walking and trying to focus with effort as it wasn''t easy, yet I tried to do it anyways. After the first few minutes of walking and trying the supernatural thing out, I started to feel something. As soon as I felt it, I came to an immediate stop. My face held a "What the fuck?" expression as I never really expected something like this to ever occur, I just thought it was something to do for fun just so I didn''t get bored. Does magic really exist? or was that feeling something else? Without noticing it, I started to hear some noise coming from behind me, I turned around to see a person riding some type of old ass horse-drawn carriage shit. I came to realize that this was my chance to raise my arms and hope they take me. . . . I was right on hoping they would take me because they took me. "So, where¡äre you coming from?" The person that was asking me was a farmer, his carriage looked sturdy enough to hold lots of people. The only problem about this is that we are travelling with cow shit on the back. As long as I don''t touch his hands or touch him I''ll be fine. "I''m from...Um... Ur...al.. Fuck" (Note: Pronouced Yurallfuck... Not you though, just the people in the story :3) I didn''t have anything in my mind to say where I really was from, so a foreign random name would best suite the situation... But I didn''t really plan this, it was actually my mistake to say fuckers. "Oh, so it seems you''re out from the country aren''t you?" The man seemed to be a jolly person, despite my crappy acting he didn''t seem to notice. "Er yeah, I come from the city Uralfuck, in the west continent" I''m not fucking planning this, fuck thinking. "You''re coming from the demon continent? thats pretty impressive knowing that many don''t come from there alive" The man had a glint in his eye as he spoke... He fucking knows. "Alright, you probably already figured out that I''m lying is that it?" "Yeah, it was obvious from the way you dressed that you''re not from these parts, and a place like Uralfuck doesn''t even exist!" This guy is smarter than I thought. I sighed, "this is going to be a long day isn''t it?" "Yep" Chapter 3: The farmer just Had to see through my lie
Edited By: Arthur300000
*Flash Back* I remember most of the things that I used to enjoy doing before I fell into my addiction to the computer world. Yet of all the many things I used to do, they were all boring unless I put my mind to it. Things like sports, math, I even had a hobby of typing down stories on this website called Royal Road, Ironic isn''t it? Apart from me having to do my school work and all, I barely even thought about my future career in terms of the choices I made. I just didn''t think much about my reason for having to do such things if there wasn''t any feeling to it. Even so, I carried on the empty days of my youth. "Father?" Among the many parts of my childhood that I do regard as a time in my life where I did feel satisfied, was when my father was around. "Whats wrong Arvis?" My father was a man of great qualities as I considered them. He was a person I admired and thoroughly respected. "The other kids at the park won''t let me play on the swings." I remembered what had happened when I was a kid during that time. It was around the time my father had still been alive. With the kids at the park not letting me play I felt lonely, and honestly it wasn''t something I usually felt, but my father was always around me when things like this happened. "I see.. Alright, then here" I was crying just slightly when my father had suprised me and lifted me up in the air. "You see this world? Around you, there are people that probably won''t agree to your views, but no matter what, fight for what you think is right, even if it means the world sees you as the antagonist" There were words that I didn''t understand, but growing up in the society we lived in explained that to me without the memories of my father. It just makes me think about why people have their own opinions when no one cares about it. The person that I will never forget... Is you... Father. *Flashback end* ?"....Hey....ke up.." I felt a bit groggy as I heard a voice. My eyes felt heavy as I tried to open them up slowly. "...Wake up!" Out of nowhere the voice resounded in my ear so much that it shook me, making me fall to the floor. I had fallen in the bed that I was in. "There''s breakfast for you on the table now that you''re awake, after you''ve finished eating come to me, got it!?" After telling me what to do I recalled what happened last night. Yesterday around the time I met the farmer that gave me a ride on that shit-filled horse-drawn carriage, as you already know, I had lied to him. Since he saw through that lie, I didn''t restrain from telling him about the current situation that I found myself in after falling into the water. After hearing that I had met a god, and the aftermath leading up to the second I met the farmer and his carriage, he offered me a place to stay for as long as I want, and in return I would help him. Without much thinking, I quickly accepted his proposal, and last night me and him were having a conversation. It wasn''t complicated, but what we were talking about and how he had treated me reminded me of my father. Why I dreamed about that moment though, I have no idea. So following up on my promise, I will have to help this farmer out until I understand the way this world works. In our little conversation yesterday, he told me that there''s a small town following up the path the passes through a bridge, and there I''ll most likely get the information I want. So with little to do here, I plan on helping this man in the afternoon when I return from the village. Apart from that, what kind of fucking breakfast is this? Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation. After I got up and put on my white T-shirt, and yes I slept without a T-shirt this time because I was sweating last night. Anyways, I got up, put on my shirt, and headed to have my breakfast. What I expected was something like a salad or whatever, but I got somthing that looked like watery oatmeal that had chunks of meat in it. I tasted it with utmost caution, suprising though, this shit taste like good shit. The watery part of the oatmeal tasted similar to gravy, the meat chunks tasted very tender and delicious, and lastly, the small parts that gave it the oatmeal appearance had a crunchy feel to it. With much of my delight, I finished the bowl of the food rather quickly. I plan on asking him for the recipe of this delicious fucking meal. I didn''t have anything, much less did I feel like I needed to take something from the old man, and he did help me which is something I would do for myself as well. I quickly went to the man and thanked him for letting me stay, he was having a bit of trouble lifting a barrel so I quickly approached him and helped him hold it. As me and the man finished moving the barrel I explained to him what I was going to do and he told me to get a another pair of pants and a farmer dress-shirt before I leave since the clothes I wore smelled like shit. I guess it smelled like shit because of the water yesterday and the cow-shit carriage. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . With a fresh look I washed my face with a water-filled box inside the house and left. I dried my face with the dress shirt that I had on and waved at the farmer, seeing that he waved back I turned around and walked straight towards the town. After 30 minutes of walking I noticed the bridge that the farmer told me about, and now that I think about it I don''t think I introduced myself, and neither has he.. Fuck, now I won''t have any referances. Walking just a bit further from the bridge I could see some other farmers and a few wooden buildings with signboards sticking out the side of them. I''m sure this is the town the farmer was talking about. I noticed that this wasn''t the only road leading to it. I did see another one just a bit more to the side from this one, but it lead towards another direction to my right. There was also a post that read "Faustor", and the one that pointed from where I was coming from said "Vasor Farmlands". I didn''t think much of it but I was happy to hear that I''m not close to some place where these "Monsters" exist as the man yesterday explained about the demon continent. Ah, about that demon continent, I''ll explain what I know about it later. First things first, I knew where I was headed. The farmer told me to head for a big building that had 3 swords on a sign, mentioning that the people inside were sure to give information if I ever needed it. Doing so I looked around vigilantly. I noticed a lot of different things in this town compared to the towns on earth. There was a place that had something like a blacksmith, and I saw vendors selling things like staffs. All kinds of shit that you wouldn''t normally sell in my old world. There were other things too, like people dressed in drapes with weird ass hats too, others that held swords, and I saw some fully armoured tall ass motherfucker that had a fucking giant sword. Something that looked as big as that wouldn''t be easy to hold, better yet to wield it in battle seems impossible, at least for me. But whatever floats that guys boat... Or ship I should say, that guy''s a tool. As I looked around intruigued by the different views around me, I happen to notice that the building I was looking for was just right in front of me, how convenient. With a wegie in my ass, and a gleeful feeling in my stomach, I walked in without looking back. Chapter 4: Believable
Edited By: Arthur300000
I pushed open the doors of the building, and I was pretty amazed at the way things looked. It wasn''t your luxurious hightime kind of shit, but it had a comfortable feeling. The Floor had a red rug on top of a wooden decked floor, the walls had been carefully made with lots of wooden decking, just like the floor. They also had sofas for people to lounge on. I took note that this place was some sort of questing place for those "adventurers" clad in armoured clothing. Although it was suprising to see it, I saw a group of 3 people that were wearing clothing similar to earths. My best guess is that those people were just like me, so I approached them first as they seemed to be in their own business. I walked towards them I noticed them give me a mean stare, of course I would just fucking glare back at this bastard, but I intended to play it cool most of the time. "Hello" One of them normally greeted me without expecting anything from me. "Hi, are you guys having any trouble with anything?" I asked, I acted like I was part of this place since I looked like a farmer with the clothing that I was wearing. "No, we''re fine, just that we have to wait for a short bit while the lady at the desk counter comes back with something" I guess they were dealing with business that had to do with this place. "I see, um.. Pen pineapple apple pen, if you know what I mean" After saying this well known phrase, I could see the widened eyed individuals that stood before me. Who wouldn''t fucking know that nowadays? A few seconds passed before one of the individuals broke the silence. "How do you know those words?" ?? "It''s because I''m just like you guys, just because I look like people from here, you were all fooled rather easily." All 3 looked at eachother and then back to me. "That''s great! Hey, how about we exchange information about this place? I''m sure we can both benefit with that if its not too much of your time?" I crossed my arms and thought about this, the information that the god provided was enough for us to live on, apart from that theres still some things that I have doubts of, for example: magic, and the idea that the "Status" thing I haven''t even considered trying. I kept my thoughts in place, there was also additional information that the farmer told me. He mentioned a "demon continent", aside from that he also explained a bit as the night had come that day. He told me that not many people come from the demon continent, and the only thing there are demons, monsters, and many other unique demi-humans that he called them. I guess I have my small share of partially important information. And so, I agreed. "alright, and by the way, my name is Arvis" I''m not messing up like last time and forgetting to introduce myself. "Nice to meet you arvis, I''m Marcus. This is Kyle, and she''s Jane" He introduced me to the other 2 beside him, Kyle was a blond haired guy, Jane looking like she owned a clinic with that white coat she wore, and lastly Marcus which was the one leading, a tall looking guy. "Greetings all of you, now, you guys mind telling me how you got here for starters?" I quickly initiated the information gathering. "Alright, but I don''t think we should talk here though, I think a more secluded area would be best." He was right about the not talking here, damn, even he thinks more vividly. I nodded in agreement to that idea, and thus we left the building and went to a nearby alley that wasn''t far from that place. . . . . . . . (Note: These dots means that time/day or maybe a time skip has happened. you''ll know how long it would be by reading the rest.) ?"alright, so lets get through this" He was very firm about the information thing, I''m sure he wanted connections around the area with people similar to his way of thinking as we lived in a different society. First, Marcus explained that when he had arrived in the portal, he was laid down at the centre of the town, and somehow, people didn''t notice them until afterwards. He had no idea what to do, but soon enough as he started to walk around the area, he encountered Kyle and Jane. After noting what had happened to them, they decided that it would be best if they stuck together as they didn''t know much about where they were. He said that the details that the god explained were infact all true since I had been in complete denial. They had proof and they were willing to show me something. "I guess your not much of a believer, are you?" Marcus asked with a smile. "No, I''m more of a see to believe type of person, rather I have my own views based on certain things, but I did come across something that wasn''t supposed to happen, or at least thats what I would say" Many people think its quite ignorant of me to say so, yet its how I was raised. And I quote "Believe and fight for what you think is right". Although I know how much I should be believing in certain things as I have legitamately seen them, I can''t say that I don''t completely doubt the things that could have happened to me. I simply feel if I start to believe, then maybe I''ll begin to change the way I am, I know change is something that always happens, but... I''m afraid of losing what I have left of what my father had left behind. "I see, well you''ll believe after you see this" Saying that he looked at Jane. The girl nodded, raising her hands and within a few seconds a fucking shard of ice began to form out of thin air. After seeing this I was sure as hell to believe. As obvious as this should be, I knew deep inside that I believed in the existance of the magic. Still, Its just fucking amazing to see somthing like that. "Alright, I guess I can''t say that I don''t believe, it was inevitable. Still, there are other things that demon god said, like the gifts, could this be a part of it?" I asked with my arms crossed. "Yes, they have to do with talents or professions that we already had, and those without any talent or profession would probably be rare since that god stated that the ability would change into the desire of what the person would want" After Marcus explained that part, Kyle spoke up. "Apart from that small detail, then if whatever we were good at doing was turned into our greatest weapon, that probably means our skills can alter depending on how we use it." "Wait, have you already figured something out about that?" They sounded to be well on point with what they were doing, so I just went ahead and asked. This story is posted elsewhere by the author. Help them out by reading the authentic version. "Kind of, it''s more theoretical than I would think, have any of you ever seen a transparent blue box similar to a game status screen?" Is this for fucking real? I have been in denial because of those fuckers that messed with my fucking life after I had been thrown into this world! "No, I haven''t, have you?" I quickly responded, I was feeling annoyed by the sudden question. "Well.. Er... Yeah, I have seen it, and I have tested something out that I didn''t think about. Now normally when people play these Role-playing games there''s usually an interface that holds detailed information regarding you, and it''s quite easy to understand but while you guys were talking I somehow brought up what is called the ''Status'' menu" I honestly didn''t expect this one to know so much, the gaming comunity seems to have become a bit popular hasn''t it? "How did you do it?" Marcus was the one asking this time. I was about to as well but I was too caught up in my thoughts about it. "All you have to do is say ''Status'' mentally and it''ll come out" Pretty rough for a simple gimmick. If thats all I have to do then I guess it shouldn''t be hard. Okay lets try it. ''Status'' I waited a few seconds and I heard some sort of sound similar to a doorbell and some shit popped up in front of my face.

... You have got to be kidding me. I can''t even. "If you read the one at the bottom, you can see your class and skill, mines is ''Collecter'' " Most likely that it must be because of his talent or his way of using his talent or somthing. "Mine''s ''Card Dealer'', and yours Jane?" Marcus''s profession is probably something similar to using cards. I could be wrong. "Uh.. mine is scientist" After Jane had said her class they all looked at me expecting something, and of course I couldn''t just stay silent. "My class is Code Implementer" I said it impassively. I had to agree though, this to me was just shit that I didn''t expect. "Now, I think it''s best we state what kind of job we had so we can further understand this skill thing" "Hold on there, we promised we would exchange information, but we never gave any limit to how much or what type of info, and judging by the way we all are I can tell just slightly that this is your first time just as it is mines as well, before we go any further, I won''t agree on saying what my profession or talent is" Funny thing is, my talent IS my profession, so I don''t know how it would be for you, but I enjoy what I do. "I see... very well then, we can put it to a stop, at least from here since your not the only one who doesn''t feel it should be right to give that information so willingly" He isn''t wrong. "Other then that, I will tell you all the information that I have learned, or at least whatever I know that is important. First, I am going to say that this world sounds bigger then it would look. One thing that I''ve learned is that there exists a demon continent that is said to harbour monsters, demons, and many other types of beings. Another thing about this place as I''m sure you''ve noticed, is that they haven''t advanced very far in technology, which sickens me. As that fact is prior to most meaning in my life, the magic in this world seems to make up for it" I laid my back on the alley wall with my arms crossed. "Thats right, but I wonder if magic is easy or hard to use, don''t you?" Marcus sat down on a nearby wooden box. "I think magic has to do with class rather then if a single individual can use it or not actually" Kyle seemed like he knew most about the specifcs regarding magic and the sort. "That''s most likely the case" I took note of the many things he said. This talk calmed me down albeit having to had been shown wrong about what I thought. I noticed that the time of the day was starting to pass by quickly, so I thought I should wrap things up by now since I needed to get to the guild. "The a lot of time seems to have passed by, I think its best I leave now, I don''t want to lose anymore time" "I see... Alright then, we''ll be around these parts, probably trying to see what we can do since we can''t even get our own plates" For a second there I thought he was on to something, but I''m sure he means plates as in food or something. Whatever. "Well alright, if I get any specific information regarding our "special" situation, then I''ll come around looking for you guys" With the last words of the sentance, they nodded and waved as I left the alleyway. I gained important information that I shouldn''t have been so fucking ignorant about before. This time again, I was going to head inside the adventurers guild. They could''ve at least put a sign with a name or something! Chapter 5: Broke
Edited By: Arthur300000
After finally finding the guild building I head inside. I moved quickly towards the counter in the building and waited for assistance to come. After a few seconds, a lady in a well uniformed dress noticed me and quickly approached. "Good afternoon, How may I assist you?" The lady looked mature and pretty to say in the least. "Ah, hello, I wanted to know if there was a library or a bookstore anywhere? I was told that the people here could tell me" The Lady smiled"Yes there is, but you would need a Guild status card in order to enter the library" Hah? Guild? Why didn''t they put "Guild" in the front as a fucking sign? "Um, h-how do I get one?" The lady smiled and grabbed a piece of paper behind the desk, handing it to and elaborating. "This is a Guild registration form, the requirements to enter the guild is a small fee of 50 Copper coins and aknowledgment of fighting. 3 days after handing it in you should receive your Official Guild status card, granting many privileges places where the other guilds are stationed" After the lady told me what I needed I left the building. The registration will take me some time since I have no money. ?The registration thing seems very thorough, the only problem is that I am currently broke and I have not a fucking single clue on how to get a job that has anything to do with programming. Maybe I could do manual labour... Crap... my source of information and it''s blocked because I need a card.. This card probably has some specific affect on your reputation. If I also recall the word "Guild" then I was on point when I said it was a questing thing for those adventurers. Then I have to become an adventurer? My abilities aren''t meant for this... Wait, on second thought, what if I ask the farmer for some money? Nah, just asking would make me feel like a bit of a dick, better to just help him and him letting me stay then me asking and just taking. For once I need to use this fucking brain of mine. What other way to make money is there? . . . Now that I remember, I did see a blacksmith''s shop before, and in some good movies that I''ve seen blacksmith''s usually need help moving things and carrying them around. This is probably going to involve a shitload of working my ass out. . . . . . . . I walked over to to the blacksmith''s shop that I saw when I first got here. The blacksmith''s shop was named "Roulatho''s Blacksmith Shop" ?I entered the shop and was amazed at what I saw inside. In the front were weapons and many other things, the smithy is most likely stationed at the back behind a door near a counter. As I took a few footsteps I noticed the swords that were displayed had many wonderous designs, some were detailed up to the tip of the blade, many others had their own beauty. "I''ll be right with you!" I heard a shout coming from the inner area where I could see the smithy through a small crack in the door. I peered in just for a few seconds until the man opened it. The Blacksmith, or whoever it was that opened the door, was tall, muscular, and manly. I think this guy is most definitely the blacksmith. (Which should be cliche'' for the most part but who cares?) After he had seen me he smiled. "What can I do for you today young man?" I walked over to the counter as the man did too. "Listen, I need a job, I don''t know if it would be fine to assist you with anything that you could use hel-" The blacksmith rose his hand gently to stop me from going. "Sorry, but I don''t need any help" The man had an impassive expression on his face. "Please, I don''t need that much, I have a place to stay and I''m free for half the day, I don''t have any other way of getting a job" I could see that my little trick was working his troubled expression, I mean all I practically wanted was to get the money so then I can get the card, and later on the information. "Hmm, I could probably use some extra hands now that I think about it, But..." I gave him a look of expectation."please" The Blacksmith sighed "Alright, you win.. But listen, don''t expect this to be easy, You start tomorrow in the morning, unless you have any problems just tell me when you get here and I''ll see to it yeah?"His voice sounded rough. "Thank you, and by the way my name is Arvis" "Nice to meet you Arvis, the name''s Gerhest, come tomorrow morning at daybreak" I nodded with a smile and left the shop. By now the sun was beginning to set, and I think that if I stay any longer I''ll end up breaking my promise with the farmer. I had a good feeling about this, I wasn''t sure what to expect but as soon as I get some money I''m getting that guild card and getting what I need. I''m not the type of person to plan ahead, personally I think that everything will be fine as long as I don''t screw up too much. To be honest I don''t exactly feel anything in this new world, its something that I''ve come to understand in what I feel, just like how I can see the sun set, I don''t feel anything. Maybe other people would like the idea of going to another world, but leaving behind something that you''ve been stuck with for your whole life seemed unreal to me, just like the technology in my old world. I hastened my pace without thinking about it any further and arrived at the farm much quicker then I would have expected. I could already see the farmer taking a seat down on a wooden stool as he watched over his land. As I aproached him he slightly smiled. "You look a satisfied, did anything good happen to you?" "sorry I took so long, I know it isn''t of much of importance to you, but I needed a card to enter a library, and sadly I don''t have any money to pay for the registration fee, so I got a job at the blacksmith" "I see, so you had your troubles, but you still made up for it, congradulations" This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report."Thanks, aside from that, I don''t think I''ve ever told you my name and neither had you." The farmer nodded and opened his mouth to speak. "My name is Lajel Erevas, but many people call me Laj, and yours?" "Its Arvis Yorvell, Just call me by my first name though" "Alright Arvis"He smiled. He offered a small yellow fruit that looked similar to that of a watermelon but was the size of a kiwi and I took it. "Those small fruits are called Ferlion, they are a delicacy in the northern parts of this continent" I looked at it and when I took a bite my face scrunched from the incredibly sour taste, as Lajel saw this he laughed. "Hahaha, of course thats one of its distinc features, the other is its skin, try peeling off a bit of the skin and tasting it" I did as he said and peeled off the skin, I ate the skin and honestly it tasted rather weird, it tasted like nothing, rather it had some sweet taste but it had a bland feel to it. "How''s it taste?" "The skin has nothing to do with inside, its odd" Laj Chuckled. "Ferlions are special fruits because they are processed by natural means. The older the fruit gets, the stronger the taste, and I''ve heard that some people even use the citric acid to stop the bleeding from a wound" How things are possible, are by no means important, things just are because they are if you ask how I view this. "There are many other different types of fruits here, but the most uncommon out of all of them is the Ferlion fruit being that they are different from other common fruits in this continent" Alright, this conversation is simply stupid, I think its time to change the subject. "Speaking of the north and this continent, can you tell me more about this continent?" Just the right way to take things for a turn. Laj nodded as he looked off into the sky. "This continent is called ''Dastheim'' and the west continent is mostly referred to as the Demon Continent, but as I said not many people come from there. The reason for that is because the border holds a special type of barrier magic that stops anyone from entering it, at least thats what I know. Although there have been some cases where people have passed through the barrier, it depends on the capabilities of said person. Other than those people that have gone through there thats about it, theres never once been a time where the barrier has fallen since the Fall of Scarothus" Laj explained slowly every bit and detail. "What is the fall of Scarothus?" I futher questioned. "The fall of Scarothus is what they called it after the demons grew in such numbers that they could''ve posed a serious problem to the human race, starting with the leader, Scarothus. Scarothus was a demonic mage that possessed the ability to command demons with a single look, and back then magic was not as developed as it is now. Nowadays people can create many things using magic afinity, and even skills that require magic is greatly known throughout the kingdoms of Dastheim, unfortunately, talent and ability are two separate things, and people that are able to use magic are more arrogant then anyone you would come by" "I see... Can you tell me about the legends of this country?" "hehe, I''ll tell you later, right now it''s high time we get some rest, and besides, you have plans to work for tomorrow don''t you?" Without noticing, the sun had set and it was starting to go dark. Fuck, I''m not much of a sleeper, I''m more of a stay up late kind of person , but he does have a point though. "Alright, hope we can continue this tomorrow" The man was at least nice enough to let me stay, so I don''t have much of a say in this. I have to work tomorrow to help this guy, so I''ll need to explain that to the blacksmith. I went to the guest room that Laj gave me to stay in and fell asleep. . . . . . . . . . . *Flashback* Within seconds I was thrown to the ground. "You piece of shit, you better bring the money tomorrow for sure" The voice of my bully always hit me harder then the punches he''d throw at me. I could feel all the bruises that were left from the other assholes that would beat me up. I could tell you that it was like that everyday, wherever I was, pain always followed me. It wasn''t all that bad though, because if it weren''t for them, I would have never found my talent for programming. The first time I had encountered programming was by mistake, it was because of my frusteration with using computer programs that didn''t do as I wanted. Of course eventually, I had stopped going to school with my addiction, in having control over a system that would listen to my every command. It made me feel satisfied. The funny thing about it was that I was working as a programmer with a contract before I had even finished highschool, and it was something I thought of as an achievement. I didn''t really need money though, because my mother had worked as a director for a very well known TV program, so she paid the bills for the house and whatever needed to be paid. I did lie about studying when I had become a shut in because of my addiction with computer programing, but it didn''t matter to me. I knew very well what I loved, and that was it for me. I was respected in the world of code, and was even given a title that most would want. My strength in coding was so great that many people had offered me a job, and I wasn''t even 18 years old yet. Of course though, in the end my high-school sent out a mail to my door stating that they were going to drop me if I didn''t go by the end of the month, so.. I had no choice, I couldn''t leave school, after I looked for a way to get a job without any certificated information, it was practically impossible. Something like this is not what I wanted, and I couldn''t find a way out. Society has a way of destroying the things people love most, but I never let it get to me because of what the words that my father had left me with always stayed with me, thats why. *Flashback end* Chapter 6: Legend of the Centuries
Edited By: Arthur300000
I woke up earlier than I anticipated. As I walked out, the sky had a dark blue colour, and the morning air felt fresh and cool, it felt fucking exhilarating. The farmer however was already cleaning some things in the barn, rather than bother to say good morning, I left on my way to the town. . . . Upon my arrival to the town, I could see people setting up stalls and others just moving around, I did see a few uniformed guards, and the humid air made a bit of a fog. I walked into the blacksmith''s shop and noticed that he was putting up some items for viewing. He turned around to look at me and turned his head back. "Good morning" "Good morning Gerhest" "Just wait there for a bit." I responded with a simple "ok" while I watched him go inside and come back out quickly with a leather apron. "Now, this is going to be your uniform starting today, first we''ll begin with hauling a few things, follow me" Gerhest walked into the back as I followed, there was a door that lead to an ally around the back and he stood waiting for me outside. "Over here is the pile of firewood, now I usually go out to chop wood in the evenings but since you''re coming to work, I decided to take the rest of yesterday off and left this work for you. All you need to do is take that hachet and go get some wood. I''ll leave it to you to figure out how to get wood on your own, but I will say this small piece of advice, Hack at it to where you want it to fall yeah? Now get to work" After he finished, he walked inside leaving me to do what he said. I waited for a second before I grabbed the hatchet and headed towards the closest tree. . . . . . . I figured this was going to be hard, but this wasn''t as hard as I thought, I was even more then what I had expected. I had been hacking away at the same tree for about 1 hour already and I''m only halfway there. The tree was like any regular tree, it was no different from the ones back on earth. I wondered if it was because I was weak in terms of strength... Now that I think about it maybe It has to do with my status. I knew I was in denial most of the time because I just couldn''t believe it, but seeing as how things look to be related to a game, maybe this game system thing could have something to do with my current body. I didn''t believe it before because it just doesn''t seem real to me. Even so, I was wrong, or rather, I''m beginning to believe that I am wrong. "haah... What are you doing?" I asked in annoyance. ''Status'' (A/N: I have no clue how to fix the large space between the Giant box and the word so deal with it.)

I have come to slowly believe it has something to do with my strength. Now the only question would be, "How to increase it?". I thought about this shit for a while, I thought doing push ups, sit ups, or anything that could increase the physical aspect of a person would help. What I also noticed was I had something called a "Class". I knew this term well since when I was back on earth this was part of the system I had to make. The class system, a system that bases the skills or capabilities on the character class one chooses, and as the said character or person improves his skills the class increases it''s proficiency... I think. I wasn''t sure if this system, or whatever it could be, was similar to a game. Sure it does have properties similar to that of a game like what Kyle had said, but how can I be so sure everything is exactly like a game? Everything should have a rule, and I needed to know what the rule is. I know I had to work, but I''ll just rest for a bit since I have a bit of free time. You could be reading stolen content. Head to the original site for the genuine story.I sat down and started to think for a bit. So first would be the ideal thing of it having to do with my body, I wanted to test this out. I took a small sharp thin piece of wood and held it tightly. If I get hurt, then I''m sure that my hp would lower, if it doesn''t then it has nothing to do with me. I can''t be too ignorant this time, I may have thought I was right, but I was wrong about most things. If I don''t want to be fucking wrong like I was last time, then I better start giving a shit. With a resolute smirk I jabbed the splinter in my palm, I can''t say I did it with a straight face. It did hurt, but it hurt like stubbing your toe on the corner of your furniture.
You have hurt yourself!! -3 Hp
Yep, there''s proof. Okay so now that I know that this is most obviously- "Arvis! I need more wood! Hurry it up over there!" Suprised by the sudden shout, I turned my head to look at Gerhest with his arms crossed. Quickly I started hacking away at the tree in front of me. ''I think I should carry on with this when I have free time'' I thought. Of course, things don''t always go my way, but that doesn''t mean I won''t follow what I feel. . . . . . . . . . It took me a while to finish chopping the tree until it fell down, sawing the tree, then hacking it into small pieces of firewood. I got the hang of it after doing it a couple of times, and right after I finished the last bit Gerhest told me that it was time for a break. We had lunch together, and what we ate was a pot of Molvest soup. I have no idea what kind of soup it was, but it tasted like salted tomato soup with pineapple. It was odd but I still enjoyed it. While I was eating though I had gotten curious about something. "U-um, I know this is kind of sudden, but who is Roulatho?" At my sudden question Gerhest made a complicated expression. He took a moment to swallow what he had in his mouth. "He''s my son" He didn''t give much info, but that was fine I guess. "Did your son own this shop?" "No, he never was able to live up to it... Although he really did want to be a strong blacksmith like I was, but.... He wasn''t given a chance" ... I could tell by the way he spoke and the cold expression on his face that his son was... Yeah. "I see...I''m sure he would be happy though, with this shop" Gerhast gave me an odd look, but then he nodded, and smiled slightly. "He would have" I''m sure that his son would have loved this place, maybe if he was still around, then he would have probably managed it with his father. "Well then, lets get back to work" I nodded as I gave a resolute smile. . . . . . . . . . . . After the next few minutes instead of chopping up more wood Gerhest told me that it was enough and decided I would help him with the smithy. It was way harder, repeatedly lifting and pushing down the bellows for the air to heat up the coal in the smithy, and as I tried my hardest (which I barely ever do) he was satisfied with how I could keep up, but the work almost made me pass out from the exhastion caused by the heat and how much I had to move. I also got to sharpen some blades that he finished smithing. Sharpening is probably the easiest part of doing it, yet even sharpening is hard. I had some setbacks with him teaching me a bit about how to place the blade and how fast I had to pedal for the whetstone to sharpen it. Eventually though I got better at it. After the sun was starting to set, I got out of my work clothes and left to go back to the farmer''s house to help . . . . . . . . . . . . "My arms feel like jelly" Of course the tired one was me. "Jelly? What¡äs that?" If Laj doesn''t know what it is then I''m sure that most other people don''t know either. I explained to him about it quickly and we sat down as it was night. Laj made a small fire and continued from what we were talking about last night. First he started off with the most known legend of all, Valus and the 3 kingdoms. It was said that it all began 300 centuries ago, where near the Demon continent was a small island that was known to be "Laos". At the time there was a boy that had appeared to have come from there as he was washed ashore from the sea on a poorly made raft. They said that this boy beared power unlike any other person. This boy was named Valus. Valus was a smart kid despite his young age, and many people doubted his abnormal abilities, they called him a fraud, or a demon. As many people took his kindness for granted, he set out to the 3 existing kingdoms within Dasthiem and Rosevald, another continent near Dastheim. His power lead him to many different adventures, from Savin people from a famine, to exposing the lies of the ludicrous "Holy Guards of Colraster", which was supposedly a religious union of priests and knights that have commited vile acts of slavery and public manipulation. Upon meeting the first king Helstor of the Fauster kingdom, he asked for the gem of the city, "The Spinel of Wind". These gems are special, in a sense the power that each gem has is enough to wipe out a whole city as well as protect it. And each kingdom had at least 1 or two, but what Valus needed were only 3, and with these 3 gemstones he had the power to either wipe out a whole continent or completely encase one. As he also ventured to the other 2 kingoms, he was able to attain the other two, "The Citrine of Fire" And "The Zircon of earth". As he promised to them his protection for the Gemstones, he cast a barrier that stopped demons from passing through the boarder between this place and the demon continent. Ever since then, not many demons were seen here, but somehow monsters and demons still roam around this continent. Apart from the fact that he casted the barrier, many of the people that witnessed him saw that he had vanished with a light as the Gemstones dissapeared with him. Yet about the demons that still roamed around, no one could figure out why but in the end they accepted that there weren''t many demons so farmers didn''t have much of a problem. Sometimes incredibly strong demons appear only to be slain by the best heroes of the continent. However, there was the time when Scarothus came and opened that barrier, many demons flooded into Dastheim, but sooner or later someone had taken care of him and the barrier had closed itself within time. There isn''t anyone who doens''t know this story on this continent, it is practically a historic event to the people here. This sounded like a story that I would probably tell my kid if I had one, now you know why everyone knows this story... Get it? hehehe. After Laj had finished, it was too late to go on, so he and I decided it was best we hit the hay and head to sleep. Such a day, such a feeling.... My muscles still feel sore. Chapter 7: Your lord and Savior... Sulav (Literally)
Edited By:Arthur300000
(Changing POV) *Third person* In a white spacial dimension, a child-looking horned god was floating in the air while moving blue boxes with unknown characters and letters. Moving and shifting, changing and dispersing, his hands were quick as many boxes left and came. In fact this god was Sulav. Sulav was using foreign characters and letters not known to any common races, with an incredible speed these blue boxes came and went as his hands tinkered with the characters and letters displayed on the boxes. With the current task he was doing, an unknown person had suddenly appeared out of thin air behind him. The man watched closely as the youthly god worked at a terrifying speed. In a matter of seconds as he stopped, everything disappeared and Sulav gave a grin that showed his teeth. "I have finished if thats why you''re here, theres nothing else for me to do" "I see, congradulations, and we thank you for your co-operation" The man wore a white suit. "Well then, no need to thank me, as long as you do your part, I''ll have no worries, but if you break your promise with me, I will take over this operation and your soul as well" The child-looking god gave a scornful look unlike his appearance. "Please, nor my predecessors nor I would ever think of such a thing, even if it meant the life of one another. We both gain something from this, and with just that we are greatful that you have heard our selfish plea" The man bowed and held a hand on his heart indicating his servility towards the god. "Very well then, you are dissmissed, and tell your boss that the second phase will initiate soon" Sulav smiled as he turned his back to the man. In the next second the man dispersed into thin air leaving the god to himself. "Mortals...Why did I even bother making a deal with them?". After a few seconds had passed he lowered himself to the ground and held his hand outwards in front of him. Within a mere split second of moving his hand, many screens with different people appeared that were using magic and abilities. These people were the ones he had faced when he had brought them to the blank space he was currently in. "Seems like most have begun to discover my gift, phase two should begin now... Arvis, stay ignorant no longer, if that mortal really wanted you to have another chance, then this dearly beloved friend should push him to stop being so weak-willed." Sulav was watching Arvis working in a blacksmith''s shop, just with one look, he could tell where that place was as he once went there as well. After staring at other people the unwillful god held his hand out in front of him again, this time a portal appeared. On the other side of the portal one could see a dome-like barrier near the edge of the coast of Dasthiem. "Well then, its time to create a new world... Hopefully this demonstrates to those damned kingdoms who''s calling!" Sulav had a wide devilish smirk upon his face as he walked into the portal. Within the next moment an extremely powerful blow had shaken and broken the barrier, causing it to fall to pieces like shards of crystals . . . . . (changing POV, again) First person: Arvis ( of course) Right now I was currently helping Gerhest put up some swords for viewing. We placed many swords along the walls as yesterday many people had emptied out the store... Again. I also forgot to mention that it has been 2 days since I started working here, and its been 3 since I came to this world, suprising isn''t it? I made it a priority to work hard, and I''ve even learned a few things about my stats and how the class system works, but I felt that it wasn''t the time to explain. After we had finished putting up the last swords that were left a man came into the store. It seemed like he knew who Gerhest was, apart from that I figured he was from Faustor. How I could tell was because he had a badge on his cape that represented Faustor, on it a very detailed crest. I knew this because the other night Laj showed me his. Although the badges were different, they had lots of similarities. "Jethro, what can I do for you today?" Gerhest immediately called out his name as soon as he saw who he was, however, I could tell by the expression on the face of this "Jethro" guy, something was up.This narrative has been purloined without the author''s approval. Report any appearances on Amazon. "Gerhest... I have somethings to say to you" As he said this, Gerhest looked up and Jethro pointed to his badge. Understanding what that meant, Gerhest nodded and later closed the shop to talk in private. The three of us were the only ones in the room. Jethro asked beforehand if it was okay for me to be there, but with a promise that I wouldn''t say anything or even speak about it they let me stay. "Alright then, I''ll start" Saying this, Gerhest nodded at Jethro. "First of all, I''m here to say that... the barrier closing off the demon continent on the coast following up to Heathfall has been destroyed" Gerhest''s eyes widened. I think I know what happened, but this didn''t shake me much, I just thought of this as something trivial. "How!? What happened!?" Gerhest sprang up as he almost lost his shit. "No one knows how, someone or somthing must have broken the seal, even though it was said that it can''t be broken by a normal person, people saw it break with their very eyes" Jethro took a moment to breath. "The armed forces of the kingdom has begun a protection check to see if anyone here has something to do with it, but as the king knows you personally he asked me to ask you if you could leave your shop to help him in the palace. Though of course he will have this place protected as he knows how dear this place is to you" Jethro scratched the back of his head awkwardly as he finished his sentence. "That idiot... all he wants is to have me nearby." Gerhest knew who the king was? Interesting, I wonder who else he knows? Jethro stood silent as Gerhest sat back down. Gerhest put his hand on his face, thinking. "How long would it take to get to Heathfall from here?" "U-um, I think it would take about 2 da-" "Thats too long! You know very well about demons and their speed! They will reach this place in just a few hours if they don''t stop!" Gerhest has lost his shit. "It''s the kings orders, we can''t just go right away, if we did we wouldn''t be in formation, thats why he told me to come get you" Jethro had made his point and it quickly lowered Gerhest''s anger. I felt like I had no say in this... so I stood quiet and simply watched them like I was watching a TV drama. If only I had some popcorn. "Give me till tomorrow, I Still have some things left to do" Jethro with a serious face nodded, walking over to the door. Ahe opened it he turned his head to speak. "If anything happens, I''ll be at the inn." He left after he spoke, and silence filled the room. For a short while, the shop had been left in a momentary silence until I broke that. "So, whats going to happen?" I didn''t notice it until afterwards that my voice sounded innocent. He glanced at me "Well, I think its best you leave this place. I don''t know where you can go, so if you''re in need just ask me while you still have the chance. I think that I should give you some things that may help you durring the crisis after we finish cleaning up the shop" He turned his head back at the wall and remained silent. "But what about you?" Again I egged on with my questions. "What about me.... I''m not sure what exactly will happen, but today is probably the last day we will ever live the normal life we''ve always lived.Someone broke the barrier that held back the demons, I''m sure it couldn''t be something, but someone, and because of that, everything will end up being destroyed." He got up and slowly walked behind the counter. "There were many things I still wanted to do with this shop, but that probably won''t come till afterwards" "Afterwards?"I kept on with the questions, I didn''t get the main idea, but I figured that demons are far worse then I would expect. "After the panic, destruction and chaos will consume the continent. The safest place right now is probably Faustor, Servest from Rosevelt, or Rogan." I got up and walked towards the counter to where he was "These three major kingdoms will probably be secure when the information hits the other 2 kingdoms since Faustor is the closest to the demon continent" "How close are we to the boarder?" "About 5-6 days from here if you have regular rests and walk every step of the way, and by carriage it takes about 2-3 days, but for demons, its unknown how fast they can get here with their bodies, since its said that a demon is thrice times stronger then your avarage advanturer, some demons stronger than others, but theres a method to killing a demon, and the only ones that know it is Faustons special guard unit and demon hunter adventurers" How intriguing, I expected this world to take things more lightly rather then have a bunch of shit right out of the plate. When I had no more questions we had began cleaning and leaving the place. I felt that I had a decision to make since all of this was going to start happening soon, I don''t know what to feel about it. With all the stats I had gained the past 2 days working, I also took it in consideration that I have to figure out my skill, how to use it and all, maybe I''ll try doing so tonight. . . . . . . . . (for those wondering how he got his stats in the upcoming status box thing, I made the system like a repeat and gain thing, so yeah for those thinking about repeatedly doing something to gain stats, he has figured it out by himself in the past 2 days (I''ll show a flashback later on), You''ll see how much stats he got in the next chapter Sorry if you hate that shit about me, apart from that, Arvis doesn''t know about how to activate skills since he focused on mainly about stats, although on the next chapter I will force him to use it.. by the power of Author, our lord and writer. (Please repeat that last part) Chapter 8: No Pain No Gain...
Edited By: Arthur300000
It was night as I stood indoors between the confines of the farmhouse. Laj explained that he knew how to deal with demons, but if anything goes wrong I should run, even if it means from him. Before I left the blacksmiths shop Gerhest had given me a few things to take with me, and I promised to return anything that he lended me. The things he had given me were quality items, A sword of course, flint (To start up a fire I had guessed), and leather padded armour, there were other things but I feel its useless to even mention them. Gerhest had given me this armour to move around more efficiently, and even with its minor protection it should be enough if I found myself in a bad situation. Right now Laj was outside keeping watch of anything within view, and there were torches on the outer side of the wooden fence from the farm. And thats practically it, there wasn''t much to say, but I expect to see a demon at least. After looking outside for a short while, I turned my head back and focused on myself. ''Status'' I thought out mentally and in less then a second a blue box with status titled at the top greeted my face

(Note: I tried doing what I could to fix this problem but whatever.. its good enough.) I could have guessed that my stats would increase because of the sword and the armour, and Gerhest had even gave me a few of these small vials of "Life potions" or whatever he called them. On my second day of work I recieved about +2 stats in strength in the morning when I had to chop trees, and on the day after I received +3 for repeatedly lifting and pushing down the bellows for the smithy, and on the third I gained one more. To put it simply, I don''t get stats for beginning something and leaving it at that, I gain stats whenever I repeat, like lifting weights for example. Apart from that, what I have not yet checked was my skill, so this time around I think it would be best if I did knowing that there might be more danger in the near future like Gerhest predicted. I began with checking what it does. ''Um... Skill Code Control: program?''After a few seconds, nothing really popped up.. I waited for a bit to until I tried again. ''Code control: program skill check'' Still nothing.. then I thought about just calling the name.. I''m afraid since I have no idea what I am doing, if it works for status it should work for that skill.I decided on checking the class before the skill instead. ''Code Implementer'' I expected the same to happen for the Skill, but it appeared before me like normal

I was really suprised by this class, and since I have something that others don''t I''m sure there''s others similar to me in my case. I did notice that it said use/gain/create, so I''m really wanting to try that out. I then looked back at my skill on the status. I thought about it for a few seconds until it came to me. Why don''t I just call out its name? I didn''t know if there was a way to see the skill details, but I guess since I need a computer for programming wouldn''t it be useless? Still, I threw that thought out the window and just did what I felt I should have. "Code control: program" After that second, a blue box popped up.
Iniciating activation... 10-
Huh? I waited until it was finished, but right as it hit the 5th second, I felt a pain like no other fucking thing I could have ever imagined. I felt pain starting to shoot into my whole body as something ingrained itself into my brain, the pain was so much that I couldn''t even move or evenspeak. I could hear the seconds go by, but it felt like minutes as my whole body had felt thick needles with an electric touch go through my skin, muscles and bones,I could feel them invading my brain. I couldn''t think, I couldn''t focus, I couldn''t do anything in those minute-lasting seconds. I had fallen to the floor, paralyzed from the nerve-wracking pain. Even after the seconds had gone by the pain was still lingering in my head, I started getting all sweaty after the pain had gone. What was left was a numb arm and the lingering throbbing in my other limbs. I felt like all my power had left me, and even if the box appeared, all I could see was the wooden floor of the farmhouse. I waited until that lingering sensation left, and after a minute or so I got up sluggishly. It felt like a giant boulder was on my back as I tried to move, pushing myself towards the walls of the farm house and I was able to use it to stand up. While I had myself leaning against the walls to stand I headed towards my room to lie down on the bed. Upon reaching the bedroom I threw myself on the bed and I could see another box appear in front of me while I looked up.
Activation completed... Waiting for voice confirmation from User "Arvis Yorvell"
Voice confirmation, then I''ll just say "Arvis". As I said so the next second my right numbed out arm started feeling again almost immediately with small pulses of electrical shocks resonating with my heartbeat. It made my arm twitch nervously.A bunch of boxes started appearing out of nowhere, surprising me. They all looked different, but there was one that stood out from the others.

This showed me that I was able to perform programming like I did before, but this time it would be harder then I would expect. I noticed my pain had gone and my arm felt normal. After a short while I decided to recheck that skill.
Code Control: Program
This skill allows the user of programming within the dataspace of the system. However, the skill requires higher levels to perform Complicated system commands and requires higher levels if wanting to access the further, or main parts of the system. Mp: -100 / Stamina: 50 / Health: -10 User can choose any of the three options he wishes to go with. *As Skill level increases, so will the requirements to activate this skill* Skill Level:1(0.0%) Skill affinity: Beginner [Effect: Allows the use of programming of any type Allows the ability to create/gain/use/Implement Codes within the Dataspace and the system Allows the user to create Systems. Allows the user to manipulate Code.
I had nothing to say, or think, this ability seemed too powerful, even if this was a game, I don''t think people should have something like this. I thought about it for a while, if programming takes time to make and create commands that are registered into the system, then I should be able to use this in battle right? Or would it take away my stamina each and everytime I issued a command? Since it was my first time using it, nothing was taken from me, maybe because it had to be registered into my own system to take its effect, and since it was not registered, it didn''t take any health, stamina, or magic. I looked again, would my magic capabilities have something to do with this? Because it certainly ain''t the same as stamina, so how do I even use magic? After asking myself this, I recalled the second I tried to do that supernatural thing where I would feel out my power, I did feel something. Since it''s my arm thats affected by this skill the most, I wonder what I did. Hmm... ''Code con-'' I was interrupted when I had heard a loud screeching. I got up and looked outside the guest window rather quickly, from there I saw two figures fighting. As I looked closer at what exactly was happening, there was only one simple word to describe it... Demons, and not just one. Chapter 9: How to Make something. The night sky was dark, without the moon''s light, I would have never seen the demons that had appeared before Laj. Laj was prepared as he saw them coming, I could see that he held a sword in his right hand and a small dagger in his left. I had also seen the leather armour that he worn had small parts of metal that held the edges together. With this look, I was sure he wasn''t a farmer for his whole life. As the demons from ahead were coming quite quickly, Laj held the dagger in his left hand behind his back, and his sword facing the front. On the opposing side of the field, demons were flooding the area, there were many different types of demons, even some that appeared almost human like. Demons that were big and muscular were slow to approach, while others that were small or short were quick to move. These demons all had horns, there were some that had wings, and some that had either a gray skin colour or a red skin colour, exept for those that appeared human though. The only thing that was common in all these demons, were their eyes. Their eyes in the night shined a deep orange like that of a firey red, some had darker colour, but thats just about it. Their eyes was probably what attracted most attention. After noting the differences between the demons, they all stopped as soon as they had seen the prepared Laj. With both sides silent, the only sound one could hear was the wind. Each and everyone of the demons had seemed to stop because of Laj, I was confused, wouldn''t they have attacked already. In the next few moments, Laj started to slowly walk towards them, and from behind the whole crowd of demons, a giant one had emerged from the demon-flooded area. This giant demon had mucsles bulging from his whole body, and apart from the others that looked slightly similar, he had an axe, which gave me the thought of heirachy between the demons. They probably have it the same fucking was as we humans do. Every other demon behind the giant one, stood and didn''t move an inch, but as every other demon watched, The giant one had then stepped up until he and Laj were facing each other with at least 4 meters between eachother. For a moment they stared at eachother.. and in the next a battle to the death had started. Laj had swung his sword horizontally with a speed that I couldn''t even see, He had closed the distance between the two in mere seconds, and the slash from the sword that he had swung him left a long line in the lower abdominal area, but the demon didn''t fall down. The giant demon turned quick to look at Laj again, but somehow Laj had dissapeared and reappeared near the right leg of the demon. With ease, he sliced through the bone and flesh of the giant demon''s leg forcing it to fall forward. The demon had swung the axe with one hand as he fell onto the other stopping himself from completely falling forward, Laj was cut on the top of his hand by the unexpected swing Yet still focusing on the foe before him, Laj moved carefully as he swung his sword and dagger multiple times at the giant demon. Soon after the many cuts, the demon fell forward shook the ground as he did. I was expecting Laj to die because I had thought that the durability of this demon was quite strong, or maybe he won because his sword and dagger had a sharper edge then the skin of the demon could handle? But what happened after he killed the giant demon, the rest of the demons just started attacking him out of anger for killing their.. Leader? I think? Whatever. As all the shrieking screams from the different demons went on, I could hear that they were definitely pissed off. Yet I could see Laj, even with his bleeding hand, he gripped the sword hard, and started off by running. I wanted to stay and watched the battle, but as Laj instucted me that when he gave me that look, it was his signal to tell me to leave, I honestly was alright with it but I started to feel down about the fact that the first person I had met in this world was about to be killed. I sighed and started to get moving. As I could hear the sounds of the sword being clanged with other swords, I also noticed that he stood before them before I left to attract their attention. And now that I am on my way, I he was sure that I wouldn''t attract any attention. . . . . I had left the farmhouse by the back, where the barn would be located. Behind the barn was a small path that would take me to another town that was a bit further away from Vasor, which is the one I was working at. I moved quickly, because the town was far, and who knows if Laj would still be fighting. I know that death is something that I should be afraid of, but having been to another world just puts me in a different feeling against it, like I don''t know how I should feel, it kinda makes me feel indifferent. As Laj had explained to me about there being a path here, I had found my way through it and stumbled on it, the path lead into the deeper ends of this thick tree-filled forest. Plants and nature everywhere. In that aspect I was fine, but since I was jogging, and my physical capabilities are crap, I was getting tired quite quickly. I should really exercise more. I had traversed through logs that had fallen over on the path, Bushes, and mud, yet I still kept going, my heart had started pulsing hard, and my limbs were beginning to feel really hot as the cool breeze flowed in the forest. After a few minutes of non-stop jogging I was breathing heavily and decided to walk instead. Walking helped me keep my body warm while I naturally gained back the energy to jog again. While walking though I was slowly able to see lights in the distance between the trees, this was probably the place I would get to. I took a few seconds to breath in air and started to jog heading to the light. . . . . . . . . As soon as I got close enough, I was able to clearly see guards that were looking around, and each had a post. I was able to move forward enough with the little energy I had as I was again exhausted by jogging through all the bushes and mud in the forest. "Hey you!" I didn''t notice that I came into a guards view, I stopped and took a bit of a break falling on the grass. I couldn''t respond because of how exhausted I felt, my heavy breathing would get in the way of talking. The guard approached me as he kept his solid composure. "Hello, you seem to have run, then I guess you could have seen demons?" His voice was rough, and he looked experience from what I can tell, I ain''t that good at observing but it looked very fucking obvious. I nodded simultaneously. "I see, have you lost them or are they coming here" I had regained a bit of my energy to speak. "No, I was able to run far off from them, their attention seemed to be somewhere else" I got up from the ground, my limbs felt like jelly, but I was able to ignore the pain for a bit. "Good, my name is Corvan Fargis by the way, I am in charge of the commissioned guards stationed here, may I ask of your name young man?" "I am Arvis, Arvis Yorvell" "Very well Arvis, are you a fighter or a farmer?" "I am a farmer, but my dad used to be an adventurer, so I used one of his well kept swords, and he told me to run, so here I am..." I didn''t talk so much as not give many details about my situation, if they find out that I am lying then I won''t leave a good impression on them.Unauthorized usage: this tale is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings. I gave him a solemn expression just to give an effect to what I said. "I see, I''m sorry.." The guard gave a small moment of silence with his head down, and lifted it after. "Anyways, so my father had told me that the safest place would be in faustor, would there be anyway that I can reach it?" "Ah, yes, there is only the last one heading there since all the other ones left a while ago. We have guards that will be escorting the carriage to the city, along with some others just like you, though your a strong kid being able to run through this whole forest without batting an eye"He smiled, I guess this forest would happen to have some sort of story or something? "well, I just don''t think much about it is all.." I gave him a slight smile. As I followed him, he explained a bit of what happened to me although I already knew most of it, yet as he explained it, I could see guards running and moving towards a specific part of the town, as he saw me noticing it, Corvan explained that they were currently holding the line since Vasor has already been inveded inspite that they have evacuated the town just moments before they would finally get there. Soon enough though I had seen not just a carriage but a convoy, and there were many of the last people that were in this town. I guessed that this would put a lot of people in the city homeless. Corvan was a nice kind of guy, he lended me some gold to look for an inn and gave me some advice since he said that the same thing had happened to himself when he was just a kid. I never really expected that from a guard, maybe its just him sympathising with me. Anyways, I got on the wooden cart in the middle, in that cart there were a few other people with long torn capes to keep them warm from the wind, I noticed that I was starting to get cold too, but I didn''t mind it. We stood waiting for the carts to start leaving for a few minutes until the guards had checked something in the first, and after that we had started to move on. I wasn''t as much of a deal as I expected, if it were another person that had seen me, I wonder what would''ve happened, but why would the one in charge meet me close to the forest? did he expect me, or did he know I was going? ''Ding''
Since you have ran over passing your limit, your stamina bar has increased!
+15 Stamina
Stamina? I did jog a lot trying to get here, and now that I''ve gained back my strength I recieved extra stats? What a suprise. I wondered how much stamina I have wasted trying to get here, and It made me wonder how far I have gone past my limit, I guess I have to study that part of me since I feel it would be crutial to understand how much I expend in accordance to how much I take up. I decided to look at my status since I didn''t have much to do on this carriage. ''Status''

I looked at my status without others noticing, or rather I don''t think they can see what I can see, hell I''m not even sure if anyone else has something like this. After looking at it for a few seconds, I noticed the skill I had, was activated this whole time. This might be a blessing if I am right about this shit. I thought that I would have to activate the skill every single time that I used it once, but since it is a skill having to do with my talent of programming, it would obviously take time, so then all I need to know is the limit of how long the skill can be active for, other then that why would I ever disactivate it? I thought of looking into the skill in further detail, I wanted to know all about this skill, since it is my only capability, and it being the only one, what could I do with this? I opened the skill, and just like before a bunch of boxes came up, all of them are different in terms of the common coding. That would mean I would have to use a compliler, but where would I find a compiler in this world? The answer to that question is simple, I will make it, but the problem, how do I type? With all these boxes on me, they all had differences-

If I was sure about what this meant, it would mean lots and lots of compiled pieces of information to create an organized schematic of the programmed system that I should make, but since there isn''t and I only have a personal system, that doesn''t seem to count. I guess this means that I can''t use the personal system to look into the databases of the different parts of "Personal system", and that would also mean that the program executor is there for me to start building something. I looked and shifted my eyes through many blue boxes trying to figure out how this all functions. Yet it seems that I need to create somthing in order to see it work, but what do I do? I started to think... I honestly had nothing in mind, for quite a while. It was starting to get annoying since I didn''t know what I should do. After a short while, I had thought of giving up, but then a rock hit the carriage, and then it sparked to me. We people see, but not only do we see, we scan the area as well. ''How about I try making a scanner? Or somthing similar?'' I thought about it for a few seconds, and just stared into the blue ''Code Creator'' box. Thats probably what I thought. Experimentation. . . . . . . . . ( I had already started on doing the code from a while ago, it took me a few minutes to figure out how to make codes, but I recalled that the skill I had, said that I was able to "manipulate code", so with a bit of time, I eventually found out that I can do it just by thinking. Although it was tough, and it still is, mainly because I have to be carefull when manipulating code. Between my head and this unknown ability, the only thing that separates the ability to manipulate code and think aside by it, is the power of the Code Control. With the function of being able to manipulate code, I can grab any source of information stored in my head, and since I used to be a programmer, it just sums it up, but what sickens me is how terrible I am at trying to think straight and creating values within the Code creator box. Still, I know that eventually I will be able to control it soon... Hopefully. It took me about 2 hours or so to finish it, and about now it should be around 2am in the morning I think jugding by how close the moon is to the horizon. Durring the while I was making it, I had come across errors I have not ever seen with coding, I guess it was different in this world, but as I soon came to discover that my whole area was my source of values, I had come to understand that this whole fucking world was able to be modified by my coding! The only thing in my way was how this system implemented the code. I could barely understand it, yet I was able to create what I wanted, and after I finished it off, I recieved a warm greeting from another box.
Creation Successful!

I was happy to see that it paid off, but now I had to check the subskill that I had made, I guess I am not to bad, but its not good either since it turned out to be a subskill, and not a skill.

This was poorly made... I have no fucking thing to say about that, at least I can be happy that I learned something incredible within my own capabilities. I need to improve. . . . Chapter 10: Faustor City for Un-ordinary people *FlashBack* I noticed that I never really had much of a childhood. I did use to have a friend though, and I think I could still remember her clearly even after all this time. Since I haven''t really had much of a choice between picking friends though, in the end, I was left alone. It wasn''t like I was forced to not have any friends, its just that I was always shy, had a bit of a rough time making friends even when I wanted to. Still though, after all I tried, not one single person ever stood by longer then that girl. I noticed many things about people though, they change, and even if I tried to change, people would still look at me with the same face. A nobody. I held in the many negative thoughts and doubts about the friends that I made, even if they were mean to me I held it all in. But someday I was expecting to blow. With a punch to the face of the one who always bullied me, treated me like shit, I never felt any better, but of course his name is useless even if I wanted to remember. As I did though the others that were there with us all pushed against me. I would always try against a person, but opposing a group is harder then to fight just one person, even so, I did what I felt. After what had happened, I was treated like the black sheep in the school community that I lived in, never had I ever felt so lonely. Even after everything had happened, that girl carried on her days alongside me like nothing ever happened. *Flashback end* I had felt the sun on my face, as the warm feeling slowly woke me up, I noticed that I was covered in a brown rugged blanket. I rubbed my eyes as they opened, I looked around to see who had put the blanket, but everyone that was awake had been minding their own business. There were kids on the carriage as I was there too. The carriage was going more faster then before and soon enough we came to a stop. I wondered if this was the end of the road but guards had stopped me raising their hands and telling me that we have only gone half the way. As I had risen to get off, the guard stopping me had made me sit down again. I looked down onto the blanket that was on. I could see that the person beside me had bandages on his arm, even when I looked at him I could only see his face covered in bandages like a mummy, but it looked tight, and only one eye was unbandaged. It made me think that this person was probably hurt or something. I couldn''t tell if he was hurt because he was wearing grey rags over his body. H was awake though. I looked off from out the carriage, and i saw how the view was. Plains. They were large areas of grass, some trees here and there but he whole area was wide and large. This new view made me smile unnoticeably. Soon enough though, it was only a bit until we started the carriage again. I decided to think about what I should do, and another think about that scan skill was that I learned that I can use subskills without any similar cost having to do with the main skill. So its like I can use it freely like any other skill. And another thing is that my skill of being able to program itself was now on cooldown. I learned this last night... *Flashback* Apart from scan being an identity thing, how about I use it as an area scanner? ''Scan area''
You have scanned the area
You have found 27 Unknown ''Items, 11 Unknown living beings, and 46 Unknown resources. All Objects are available for ''???'' (Higher Skill level/Special Code required)
Hm, then how about we make a special code? I quickly opened the Code creator and started again but after a few minutes of creation, another box popped up with some shit.
System Over-exertion
System has been used too forcefully within the data of ''Personal System'' Skill now on Cool-down. Cool-down time left: 12 hr(s)
Thats got to be fucking bullshit!! I barely even used it!! *Flashback End* Yeah so.. I haven''t really gotten far with it, but I did learn that I need to create a system that holds more data with the coding that can be used, although I level it up the data might increase within the system, but who knows? only time will tell before I can fix this system. I began to think about what the many things I could do with this fucking crazy skill, it just fits me since I have worked and learned so much about how to program, and now its like starting all over again with this skill. After we had started moving, I had covered myself in the blanket again and began to think about all the things that have happened, and what would have happened would I have not met them. Later on though I had began to think about many stupid things not having to do of any importance, although it was useless to think, there wasn''t anything to do. All I could do was wait and think until we had arrived to the city. I tried to sleep but the sun bothered me and I didn''t want to move out of my now comfortable spot. A few moments later though, one of the guards sat by the edges of the carriage as he felt tired and needed to rest for a short bit. With this I wanted to question him. "How is Faustor exactly?" Simple questions like this was on my mind at the current time. The guard turned around looked at me slightly startled as I asked from behind him. With just a few seconds later he turned back to look at the plains smiling. "The Great city of Faustor is not a bad place, whats bad are the people that live there, but everything else is good about it. The lands are beautiful and the women too, its just a place anyone would want to be there" He breathed in air after saying all that. This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings. "is that so? But what I meant was how big it was though" "Well, sorry about all that, Faustor is a pretty big kingdom, but there''s also Rosevault and.." About to go off saying the rest I gave him a slightly scornful look "Um sorry, I will say that Faustor is about as big as a quarter of the continent" I was pretty suprised, I do recall seeing how big the continent with one of the maps that Laj had carried on him... Laj, I wonder if people would know him, he did say that he was a well known adventurer. Who knows, I decided not to ask, if I did, maybe there could have been problems that I don''t know about. "Why do you want to know about faustor? Haven''t been there before?" The man looked at me while I was zoning out. "Hm? oh, I was told that there was a lot of adventurers there" "Oh, You want to be an adventurer?" The man had a suprised look, like as if there was something special about it. "Yes, is there a problem with that?" The man shook his head and smiled. "No, its just that its hard to become an adventurer, especially since there has been so much commotion about it these days with these ''Odd people''" ... Odd people... Is he referring to us? To those from the other world? "What do you mean ''Odd People''?" The guard looked at me and gave me a serious look. "A few days ago there had been people with odd abilities appearing out of thin air everywhere in the continent. I have even heard from a friend in Rosevault that it has also had happened. Whats even more odd is that there are some people who can use abilities like magic and other odd types of magic, they look a lot similar to you, but you''re not wearing the clothes that they are so I know that you aren''t like them" "What kind of magic have you seen them use?" "I''ve seen them dissapear, I saw one use a wooden stick and turn it into a sword, there have been lots of cases of destruction going around the kingdom, but people eventually learned that it wasn''t hurting anyone, the only problem was that these people have no idea how to control their odd abilities People with magic even better then mines, I am crying on the inside, but with time, maybe I can even make myself a skill that allows me to fly. I was suprised at what the guards had told me, and now knowing that there were definitely other people like me, that just means that there are going to be problems, a lot of problems. However, the man didn''t notice that I had an odd ability, probably because its a computer that I use and since other people can''t see the blue boxes that I have, I guess that I''m able to go incognito with this ability. Thinking about my odd skill, I decided to check the cool-down it had said to have had, and I read to see that it had about 3 hours left, I did sleep a little more than 8 hours. Everyone in the carriage was quiet, mostly because no one knew eachother. The bandaged guy beside me looked to have nodded off back to sleep seeing his head keeps rising up... and down... and up... Yeah, you get what I''m talking about. The ones on the opposite side was only a young guy, an old man, and a lady that seemed pretty good looking.. But I ain''t about that life. After another hour or so, we have come to a complete stop. this time they had let me out of the carriage, and given me some food. The one that seemed to have lead the whole caravan had shouted to the other guards that they would have to share since their provisions were low. When I had recieved a small loaf of what looked like break and a few other fruits, I quickly identified them.

The lack of information must be becuase I didn''t make this subskill well enough, it was just made to scan and Identify with little to no details, but in all odds I need to improve this skill, it could be very usefull in the futue to come, as I think I might actually become an adventurer. Or maybe it''s too much of a hassle to deal with if I really become an adventurer, maybe I should just stay in hiding and just live like normal with this ability as I improve it? I''m not exactly sure I am going to do if I really do plan on making this skill more and more powerful as I go by my day. I spotted the guard and asked him what this place was. He elaborated to me that this place was one of the gates that people passed by to enter Faustor kingdom. As it is pretty far from Vasor, it was only minutes before the skill would be able to be used again, but this time it would have to take my hp, magic, or stamina, and personally I think I''d want stamina to be taken rather then any other, since I feel hp is important and magic too. If you had to choose between the 3, what would you pick? Anyways, later on they allowed me to enter, they also gave me a map, since that caravan was just to take me here I asked to leave and they had let me walk on my own. Looking onto the map I had no idea what the words had meant, this will most likely mean that the books will be another language too, I did understand the signs though, since this place is pretty big though, the map was only a rough drawing of the main streets and not the alleys. I saw many merchants along the main road that lead to a giant fountain. Within these merchants and shops there were alot of people wearing clothes from the world I used to be in, I could tell easily that they did not fit in with the crowd by how odd they looked. And me? I should say that my hair is commonly brown and my looks are about avarage to these people. Even since I am wearing farmer clothes, the armour padding that Gerhest had given me along with the sword just said that I was someone of authority, but it also showed that I was somewhat of a wannabe. Seeing no one complaining that I have a sword meant that Weapon control wasn''t something known in this country, since it seems anyone can have a weapon. Apart from that small specific detail, I did see that they were all in front of what would be the guild since the sign of 3 swords is also shown here in a much more bigger sign. I decided to approach the building behind the people. . . . . . . . . Many of the people that were wearing my clothes seemed distressed, and looked terrible. I wanted to know what was happening, but I knew that if I showed that I was similar to them, I could lose some advantages that these normal fucking people from this world have, so I decided not to just go up and talk to these people. As the guard referred to them as odd people, or mysterious, I tried to act like I was different, like I was from this world. I quickly walked into the guild and saw the difference in the guild in vasor and this one. The interiour decour was made of marble flooring while the walls were made of polished stone I think? I wasn''t sure but it looked like giant stones that had been polished. The floor was checkered as the carpet lined red from the entrance and the people in here were not those that were waiting outside. But I knew that some of those people in armour were the ones that had been part of my world. They fit in well, more or less like me but they fit in. I stepped up to the counter and I had in my hand the few gold coins that the guard leader had, I guessed this would be like 100 Dollars or something? I have to figure out the values of these coins before I start buying with this, people might rob me. And if it really is that much, then I guess I should be greatfull for that great fucking guy! A moment later and a young-looking girl appeared in a uniformed fashion. "U-um Is there anything you need?" It was quite easy to tell that she was most likely inexperienced. "Yes, I would like to apply to become an adventurer" "Ah! One moment please" Quickly she left and soon after another girl looking more sturdy came out, seems like that young-one is still learning. As the other one came out, she smiled and handed me a paper from under the counter. "Here please sign out this form and tell me when you finish" With a nod she gave me the sign-up sheet, I had one before but I think I left it at the farmhouse, after the girl gave me the sheet she gave me a quill... How odd. I started signing out the sheet in front of the girl as she was doing something behind the counter, but whatever it was she was probably organizing some things. On the sign-sheet, I only needed to post my personal information, like my age, my occupation, if I have ever worked before (which by luck I have), and if I was able to use magic, obviously I didn''t write yes because I wanted my skill to remain a secret, if this is found out, then that would be a great disadvantage for me. I finished and I handed back the paper indicating that I was done. "Good, now all I would require is a fee of 10 Silver coins" Wait a minute, wasn''t it 50 Copper before? "Hey, Um, about that.. Wasn''t the price supposed to be 50 copper?" As I questioned, the girl shook her head. "Not exactly, the reason why is probably because in other towns or other smaller cities they allow lesser pay for those adventurers that cannot afford for a price like this in the city, is there a problem with the fee?" I shook my head "no, there''s no problem, I just thought that there was a high change in price" I immediately grabbed just 1 coin from my hand and handed it to her. Without a care about the money she gave back the change of the gold coins which was only 40 silver coins. My guess is that 50 copper is enough for a silver, and 50silver is enough for a gold. I could be wrong about the copper though. "Alright, in 2 days your official guild status card will be here, so until then please wait and be patience, if you have any questions, you can ask any one in the counter, have a good day!" After that I thanked the girl, turned around and headed out the doors. For once, I have now become part of the guild, the problem is that since the prices in this place are higher, I might have to be careful that no one steals this pouch. I looked back into the map.. Sadly I didn''t know the sign for the inn, I needed to find that inn and get a place to sleep there. This is probably going to be a hard find... . . . . . Chapter 11: The Sys of a prog Walking around the city I have noticed that there have been guards constantly running here and others there, it seems like the demons have probably been seen or somthing. I needed to find an inn, and the easiest way to do that would be to ask, guards would be best. I saw a group of guards and I walked towards them as they were just standing around. I stood in front of a guard and he just gave me an impassive look. But of course I was the first to ask him. "Where can I find an inn?" I then showed the man the map that was given to me by the others from the caravan. "There are lots of inns in this city, but a well known one would be right around here" he put his finger on the map, later he told me where that was exactly and from where the guild was it was about 1 way to the left and then another turn, I should see a sign that has a dove. After he had explained I also asked what was going on since I had been seeing so many guards moving around, and the guard had explained to me that they are currently on alert because someone had brought news that they had broken the border''s barrier between the demon continent and Dastheim. It was only soon enough that those demons would finally arrive here after the last caravan of guards were to show up. There were also other things he had told me, about other parts of the country, but they weren''t that much important to me, unless things change then I might have to explain. After he said what he had to, I thanked him for the info and left with a wave. Upon looking around for this inn the guard had told me about, I noticed a lot of people from my world just sitting around with their own normal clothes, I thought that something was off. I needed to understand something, but I just didn''t know why they were just staying outside. It was odd to see that. Yet in the end I saw the Inn I was supposed to find, I walked in without care. In this particular in, there were others that were dressed similar to me, with armour and other things, I decided to ask about those that were outside sitting around the street. "huh? Oh, those people.. Well, you probably haven''t heard then right?" The man I was talking to was someone that looked big and rough, but he had a nice aura, like a good person aura. "Well, not exactly, I was a farmer but I have just come to this city recently" "Ah, then you''re probably here for the guild then, alright I guess you should need to know about it" After he said that, he began with how they arrived just like how the guard told me in the carriage before I came to this place. He told me that those people outside have come out of nowhere, and with that said, they were not exactly allowed in this country since they are not from this country. The king had listed an order by the law that these people were not allowed to use the guild unless they had paid for their residental stay, even though they are allowed to roam about in the country, the kingdom does not recognise them as normal people, however, those that have already a guild card had gotten away with it since they had quickly dissapeared. No one knows much about these people except that they wear different clothing and that they talk odd referring to things like ''Internet'' and things like ''Wifi'' which they know nothing about. The king had though up of a countermeasure of course, he thought that these people could become dangerous since he himself had witness their own abilities beforehand, only those with the capacity to gain themselves a job and the acknowledgement of the kingdom''s guards were able to gain themselves a status and a guild card. There were few that could do it, but somehow there were others that have not been able to do anything, thus, they can''t do a single thing, yet even so, somehow there are few people that give food to them even though they have een thrown out onto the streets by the king. So now the kingdom faces 2 problems, Criminal possibility within the kingdom because of these guys, and the other which is poverty within the streets since these people cannot provide with himself. Of course the king is only a young guy, and a brat at that. After hearing about this I only though about one thing. ''If this kingdom has those hard ass fucking law orders, then how the fuck did I get a guild card without being noticed?'' This is probably a blessing, I was right about those fuckers having problems since I am one of them. I need to figure a way out of this kingdom since I could be found out. Fuck. Apart from the fact that I was told from the Guard, I asked him how they were and he had told me just like thi guy did. However I didn''t expect this king to be such a fucking dick. The king''s name was Rilas Faustor, and of course he was of royal blood. Who knows if he is a puppet of someone or just stupid, because everyone from my old world now probably hates the government system. I personally wasn''t the type of person that would know much about politics but I knew for a fact that if people were restrained in a society, without being able to do anything, I know for sure that they would end up hating this world. I thought about many things after the man had told me. Sooner or later the man had left me thinking alone, and I quickly went up towards the counter. There was a man that was cleaning the back of the counter, this man was pretty tall. "Hello?" As I spoke up the man had turned his head to look at me and then turned back towards the counter. "Wait just a sec, I just need to clean this little spot" As the man said he was still cleaning part of the back counter. I waited for him to finish while watching him. Slowly he finished and turned around. His beard made him look very manly and his height made him look like someone you wouldn''t want to mess with, but other then that his smile... It made him look like a completely vulnerable person. "So what can I do for you?" "Ah, I need a room to stay for the night" "Alright, for the night it''s about hm.. 50 copper, for 3 its 1 silver" Huh? prices change huh? Whatever.. "Alright I''ll need a room for 3 nights, is there anything else that I need to know?" "We give breakfast in the mornings after the sun has risen, other then that you can also have dinner before you go to bed, of course its all free for the 3 night deal. Here''s the key to your room, if you leave anything in there by accident, we will have someon take care of it for about 5 days and after that you will need to pay for your things back" He passed me the key which held an odd symbol of some kind, this was probably the thing that the room would have I quickly found the stairs that lead to the rooms. I walked up the wooden stairs and saw a hallway of rooms, these rooms all had different symbols that their keys would probably have. As I looked for the symbol I had on my key I stepped into the room. The room itself was not too bad, it was like any regular wooden cottage room, although its as big as a normal room.If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. With this, I was set to be able to use my ability in silence and with time, because back at the farmhouse I was only waiting sine there wasn''t much time before Laj would have to grab every demon''s attention there. I grabbed the sword that was hoisted onto my belt and took it off, I also took off the armour that I had worn since I had left the farmhouse. I placed both armour and sword onto a small bed counter that was in the room, then I had laid myself down on the bed. Now, I should start with my ability. First I opened my status before anything else. ''Status'' I thought, and as always the blue box would show to greet me.

Alright, now that I saw that, I saw another part of my statuse being put, the subskills category. Since this now is happening, then its more then likely that things gained here within this game-like system actually happen, maybe other such stats like physical resistance or something like that. I only knew a bit about this since I was the one making this kind of system within many different games for many companies, but I don''t know how it can be gained. Gaining something like a technical stat can only apply to when a person does something like make bread right? Or could I be wrong? After thinking about that small thing for a bit, I decided that I should start beginning with making the system I was planning on making. ''Code Control: Program'' After saying that, the skill activated with ease without any pain like the first time, I looked at all the boxes before me but gave no importance to the ones that I didn''t need to use. The one thing I needed right now was the Code creator, without this, I can''t begin anything. So, to make a system, first of all, a system within a database is made with many different organised tasks that holds a different part of the iniciation of the system, the controlled dataspace, and lastly the ongoing programming of the system. I need to figure out how to keep this system ongoing without any interference of the skill, and if I am able to do that, the system can hold a much longer capability of staying active without overheating. This will be even more harder since I am not using a computer that has the information on it. But nontheless I would have to try. When it came to computer programming, I would never stop prior to my main objective. It was something I considered as my own little goal within my head, but when something needs to be done within this... This game or whatever I should call it, I can''t say no even if I want to. First the beginning of creating a system would be the starting sequence, which is similar to the start up of an operating system. I created many values that held bits and bytes of data. These little values were going to be holding the iniciation of how the system starts, it took me about an hour to configure and set instructional tasks along with many tests to see if that would work in itself. After another hour or so, I had quickly made the strings and byte memory processor to give the directional commands towards the mainframe of the system. The mainframe of the system of course was layed out by me within seconds since I was rushing to make this, but I had to be careful, one mistake in the crazy contraption of memory and core processes that I have made would destroy all the progress of the system I was creating. With the last hour to make the iniciation of the system completed It took me roughly 5 hours in total of nonstop moving data and bytes within the prolonges processed memory and instructional phrases of values. The strings, hash codes and bytes between the many layers of memory held lots of intuitive information that I allocatedto in different types of memory coded to move around endlessly within this small dataspace that I have so quickly created. After the many places of files and core data, it was like I was creating a computer within a computer. I was now creating the Controlled programs that held the system together and moving without the use of the skill, this system is what I would call the "Ability Dataspaced Skill System" or the Adds System, I couldn''t figure anything else, I mean, I will be adding abilities and skills that holds it in informational diagrams of how it would function or how I can use it. Since the controlled system part was an easy thing for me, I was already creating the ongoing programmation of the system which was the most problematic part of creating this system. As the other both parts of the system are great pieces of the system, creating the ongoing part of the whole is like trying to light fire under the rain, I need to keep a constant eye within the numerical values that have to be directed in their own set of zones. Since I have to make it all myself, this part is problematic because the system I am using has no preoccupational programs that I can use towards making this part of the system I am trying to create. At the first few tries I separated the other finished processes of the system and started upon creating this troublesome task. I knew very well what I had to do, but to put it in play was incredibly difficult, I was no where near the idea of creating something within the dataspace that can hold so well after destruction, and replacement. However, After about 4 hours more, I was finnally able to finish it, and even though it was the rough mesure of the bytes I had input into the core of the program I then decided to add all the parts of the system... And it works!! After 9 hours of constant failure and recreation of making values do the diretives that this part of the system should do. I made it so that every skill that I make will be registered into the system as an identified value, of course I couldn''t be sure what kind of skill that I would create, but every time I do so, that skill will be separate and secured in the system that I created, this will allow me to use the skill as it is alone. I won''t be able to modifiy it because it will do that itself as I use it in different ways, but of course if I wanted a skill where I had to constantly modify it by itself all I have to do is give it the variable that I named in a string format [Code S Improv.] and I will have it. It was quite simple but an extremely ''too'' simplified system with many different programmed codes to allow the skills to upgrade and improve themselves. Kind of like I made my own skill upgrade system. Even when I finished creating the system a few blue boxes came up like so...

Well... This is complete shit. I mean I gained a good amount but I can''t use that title''s abilities until I''m lvl 50... Well I guess that should be a great demerit for me seeing how powerfull that title''s abilities is. It does say I can re-allocate stat points, that would be incredibly usefull if I ever have to fight monsters, I can just momentarily increase my strength and my agility and kill much more easily, but I''m still a level 1. I wonder how much experience it would take me to level up. I just makes me think alot about levels and experience, for instance, would I have to kill monsters to gain experience? How would I be able to gain skills in a different manner? The way this world works is different to mines, but since this world is like that of a medieval kind of game with a system that allows one to level up then its not that far off from the thoughts of the people from my world. Maybe this really is a game, and I''m just sleeping though all this. Still, I would fucking hate the idea of waking up some-day to learn that all that I am doing now is just bullshit and useless. It all comes down to the common courtesy if I am ignoring that idea, but I can''t.. Even if I feel like throwing all of this shit down the drain, its like something is telling me to go on without thinking how stupid this would be. It''s just fucking rediculious, but I can''t do anything about it now can I? I decided to get up from being seated on the bed and leave this room, I looked to the curtain covered window and opened for the room to ventilate itself. Right now it shouldprobably be dinner since I saw the sunset outside from my window, and hearing the people getting out of their rooms and listening to the chatter they are all having just shows as well. I opened the door and walked down the stairs to go eat something... Ill Be Back soon My fellow Royal Readers Okay, I have been sick in the last few days and I still am a bit, Thats a reason why I haven''t updated, apart from that I need a break since I have been having family problems with this and that so don''t be expecting any updates soon athough I might not be updating don''t think that this story will be thrown out the door, I am just putting it on hold for a bit.The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement. So until further notice I won''t be updating, Sorry for teh inconvenience. Hope you still enjoyed mah story! Chapter 12: A Step to Power I had a meal while I was in the dining room of the inn, of course my main priority would be to wait until I get my status card from that guild, but this feeling of not being able to move anywhere would be a bit of a problem to me if I don''t know the street routes and the such, so I decided I would take a small walk around this city. However, while I am still here in this inn, I have been eavesdropping on a specific conversation reguarding the barrier that broke down south. These people that had been talking about it were adventurers, those of which that work with the guild of course. They had been saying that what happened down south was the work of heretics that wanted to overthrow the system, while other 3 that were talking together with them said that it was the Dark Order that had been revived a few weeks ago since he had fought off a cultist in the underground layouts of Faustor. It was an interesting thing to talk about, because now I know that there''s somewhat of an underground sewer system within this city, meaning that there''s a vast connection to many parts of the city. Sadly it could be infested with demons, bandits or other things for all I care. After finishing up the meal I had, I quickly got up and took a walk outside. I took a deep breath and brought out the map that I had gotten from the guard at the gates of Faustor, with this, I can only map out different specific locations, but having a mental map of this would be more useful then having a drawn printed map of this city. First off, The crossed sword I knew was the guild, the inn had a dove sign, sadly these icons were not in the map, so I could only mark it out in my head, and lastly the gates to the city was down the street and to the left. which was the main road. I took a good look at this map, and the residential area was the most biggest part aside from the comercial district, which practically made 1/3rds of the whole city, while as the residencial areas made at least nearly half of the city itself. I looked around and figured this place had the underground connections, and asking around might be a problem because no one that lives in this city wouldn''t know it. That aside, me dressed as a farmer with lightly padded armour, what would I have to do with a vastly underground sewer? The only answer to that would be a quest, and I''ll need a status card if I want to apply for quests. 2 Days left until I got my status, it would be a pain waiting, so I decided to explore this city for a bit. . . . The skies had already gone dark, There were lots of people going around the main road and a few were hanging around in the side alleys, as such, I decided upon looking for shops. In many games that I have helped develop and program, shops held resources that people could use, like potions, obviously the idea only comes if I have money, and money doesn''t pose much of a problem since I did have some amount. I kept myself alert in any case someone tried robbing me, I could never be too cautious. With a stroll around the city for a bit I traced back my way different times to the main road, simply because I needed to know the layout of this place, it would help me in the future if I did. A while after moving around and I stumbled upon the comercial district quite quickly, I wasn''t looking at the map at that moment. There aren''t many labels on the map, but I''m sure that it wouldn''t pose much of a problem if I did that myself, yet I don''t have any pencil or whatever they would use here so I''m limited to what I can do in that aspect. I took the liberty of going through many of the small stalls and walking into the shops at least until the crowded main road was only filled with few people walking. I did buy a few things however, and I plan on looking at them when I get back to the inn. Those people from my world weren''t around like they would usually be, so I would guess that most of them had either got a good spot for the nights in the city, or that they simply left Faustor, however, I would wonder how the gates and holding off the demons were going, still it didn''t much interest me since it wasn''t my priority. The author''s tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. I quickly left to the inn with the map out and my eyes looking ahead. . . . Changing pov- Lajel Ervas (That farmer in the first few chapters) Laj had been laying on his own bed after slaying all the demons that had traversed over his own farm, aside from the fact that the boy left a few days ago, laj''s strength was underestimated by the foolish demons that had decided to kill him along with the boy. "If it weren''t for that damn stone, I would have been greeted happily by death" Laj was breathless, as he had no strength to move, he was still moving around despite the critical wounds that he had. Laj glanced outside at the massacre that he had done, taking him a whole night to slay all the demons, those that got away probably have already reported to their leader about him. Yet expecting someone to come, he hasn''t had any "visitors"(Demons) since the last 2 nights of completely obliterating a giant army of them. Looking up at the cieling of his farmhouse in his room, he recalled an unforgettable memory that replayed in his mind. Slowly getting up from his bed he mutters "The Un-yielding Swordsman huh?". A title that he had recalled being given to him because of his incredible merits, it only slightly angered as he remembered. As he took a look at all his flesh wounds, he frowned upon witnessing them vanish as they closed themselves up with a small smoke emanating from the healing process of the wound. As if it was magic, Laj''s healing seemed to be instantaneous, but it didn''t make laj happy even in the slightest. With his wounds fully healing themselves, laj got up normally and walked outside, towards to where the demon masacre had taken place 2 nights ago. Laj''s expressionless face had only predefined what he felt when he laid his eyes on the battle, but since his farm was completly destroyed, he was filled with dissapointment, yet inspite that fact, he was at least a bit happy since the boy was able to leave quick enough. For he knew that the boy held a specific ability which he had not said, yet he understood this boy "Arvis" because he was exactly like him. He walked around the bloodied, corpse-filled farmland in search for the sword he left, and in the middle stuck in the gigantic demon that he had fought against arduently, was that same sword. With a smile on his face, he strolled towards the sword. "Such a weapon I can never leave behind" He said as he pulled out the sword from the demon. The sword he had was engraved with a symbol that only Laj knew about, yet the sword holds lot of meaning to him as he looked at it passionately. "Now then, my fellow sword, we''d best get going to the south, people are in need of our strength" And as if the sword spoke to him, he nodded and walked into the dirt road leading him to the south. . . . Changin pov (again, sorry) - Arvis Yorvell I woke up by the sunlight on my face as I had left the windows just a bit open for the air to circulate in the room. Of course last night I did take a good look at the items I had bought, yet it only left me with enough money for a few more stays in this inn, which I will do after I get my status card and a good questing thing. I had been thinking for a while about this, but I wasn''t sure about it.. for example, what of the idea with proficiencies? I clearly asked myself about it and it wasn''t much of a bad idea to make a system like that, but I am not sure if it will be too much of a hassle, yet the programming for that type of thing would be a problem. The idea of having such a system would also involve things that I would do repetitively, and having a sleeping proficiency would just be outright stupid. Apart from the fact of having to be able to use proficiencies, things like Swordsmanship, and bartering would be usefull, but the programming of this world is so complex that I don''t know how to go with this. Another thing about the programming skill that I have, the one question I asked about last time was about the limit to how long this would be active, the reason I asked was because of the though of using in a combat capable manner, since I don''t have any combat capabilities in the first place. Now then, off to the main point on hand with my skill. I won''t even bring up my status since the author has lots of fucking problems bringing up the blue boxes, but I will say that I definetly need an attack skill, or something that can help me defend myself for all I care. The items I brought all consist of magic, like the potion I mentioned before, I scanned everything in the shops and whatever I could until I was able to raise the skill''s level, and in turn the data that scan uses to identify things improved, so I can surely say that with time, I will improve on the skills that I create by myself. First thing is first, the system I made yesterday was for the purpose of managing skills and being able to use them by either calling the name or thinking about the skill itself, which in turn means that I can now instantly use magic skills if I ever create any type of magic. Secondly, the processed skills that I make will automatically be transferred to the system''s database, so like say it''s a giant fucking file with tons of shit that you can take out by mental commands. And lastly, each skill I make will be shown on a skill list... With its own category. Just like a game. Aside from all those things that I mentioned, the system that I use won''t easily allow itself to be over-exerted because of how gigantic I made its own values, and since I don''t have to do nothing with discarding any unessesary information, the skill system will do that itself. So, now I guess I''ll be creating my own little attack skill while examining the programming skill. . . .
