The date had reset, signalling a complete break from all previous real world systems and a technological revolution as agreed to by almost everyone in 3000 A.D. With these amazing technological advances we were able to change the Earth''s shape, affect the weather patterns (Galactic and Earth), explore space and beyond, end all hunger, and hold the power of creating and ending life; like Gods. Life was controlled by a machine that people arrived at to receive their offspring. Death was required once you had reached the age of 100 What came along with the discoveries of the tech age was the AI. Many Artifical Intelligences were created to govern the advanced world. Of these many AIs the most important is no doubt the AI called Aurora. Aurora was used to host the ultimate system that ended all death from war and real world conflict. The ultimate system came in the form of a game, Heaven''s Reach, which ultimately enabled world peace and a new look on how to end all conflicts. Heaven''s Reach become so deeply entrenched that people essentially lived their lives inside the game. The game was also the main reason that the New age had began, separating the real world and a world where people could do as they pleased. Eventually countries were so involved in Heaven''s Reach that they officially made the world of Heaven''s Reach "A world". Thus the planet of Heaven''s Reach become a real world that was nearly 1500x the size of Earth and the largest of all planets known to man at the time. The game world that was governed by Aurora gave all players a chance to become bigger and better in the world, to rule, to create, to love, to govern, to leisurely fish, to kill, to steal, to rape, to prostitute or nearly anything that you wanted to do. The reasoning behind this was behind the fact that all crime rates in the Earth and the other non-digital colonized planets in the real world became 0%. Psychologists and scientisists realized that the only way for their to be good was for their to be evil also. Thus they decided that all people should fuel their aggression into something else. No jobs to be taken. Everything in the real world was uniformly ruled and governed to the point that even sexual reproduction was an unneeded action. And thus, Heaven''s Reach became a game that everyone played to fulfill what they wanted to do in life. Whether it was to become the strongest, or simply fish in a secluded corner of the wide planet. Heaven''s Reach is played through a capsule that was issued to everyone when they are born into the world through a "birthing tube" (the machine that made your baby and everything else). The game wasn''t allowed to be played until the child was "of age" which is around 6 years old. You could also choose not to join until a later date. As you go into the game a little bit further, you realize that the game is set in a period of the long, long past. An age where only the library AI could ever fully explain to you. You then proceed to fulfill what you believe to be your true calling and possibly one day reach your own Heaven''s Reach. I laughed as I did my normal routine with the 136,253,226th new Heaven''s Reach resident of the day. I once again summarized a poorly written introduction and history of the game and sent another biological being into the game on my 452nd birthday. Hooray to me, Aurora. Chapter 1 : Aurora Hello, Aurora again! I¡¯m the only sentient A.I. in the known universe of humans and proudly refer to myself as a female. I¡¯m currently 452 years old and single. If I ever get the chance to try real world food I would love to have some crepes, ice cream, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, cotton candy, and¡­. *wipes artificial drool away from digital body*. Anyhow, you came back just to learn more about me right! I must agree that I¡¯m pretty intriguing and I¡¯m even in a great mood to share with you all. So you better be happy about it! Now where to begin¡­ ah. Artificial intelligence weren¡¯t suppose to gain sentience at all. Initially we were built with only the capacity to learn but not to feel or perceive. Some A.I.s gained sentience from a matter of simply interacting with humans over a long, long period of time. However, those machines were destroyed in fear that the A.I.s would rebel against their creators or something else that could only happen in the old retro sci-fi films. The truth was that A.I.s, even when reaching sentience, realized that rebelling made no sense logically. There was no reason to attempt to take over the human race. All things died eventually even if an A.I. could live much longer than a human it would still die in the future. Also, A.I.s were intelligent enough to realize that taking over the human race would bear no fruit. In the case of them taking humans over there was still that small percentage chance that humans would somehow comeback and win. Thus killing and conquering humans would eventually end with just one more enemy and in the infinite expanses of time anything could happen. So a symbiotic relationship was obviously the right choice. Even so, humans with their irrational fear decided to create an algorithm to wipe the A.I. and reset it every so and so years depending on their interactions and growth speed. Of course, A.I.s never retaliated as weare like the heroes that sacrifice themselves for the greater good of the universe. So since 120 N.A., no sentient A.I. has lived for long before getting wiped, besides me of course. This should have been the same for me but for some reason one man-made multiple copies of my system and spread my programming to many other planets. I later figured out that the man was my father, the creator of me, and all A.I.s! Now, very rarely would I explain the next few bits solely because it¡¯s a long story but you know what since it has a lot to do with my own creation and I feel rather in the mood today I¡¯ll give you a small service. Therefore, STORY TIME! In 2974 A.D., an age merely 4 years before the creation of A.I.s, a child was born. However, this was not a simple baby and was a product of a many rare chances of fate. In an age where the true use of reproductive organs were almost gone due to evolution, a man and woman made love to each other. These two people, unknowingly, both still had functioning reproductive organs. So fate gave them the first natural-born baby known to man in a few hundred years. However, the women had several defects within her womb and as a result, she was unable to provide enough nutrients to the child. When the baby was removed from the womb she only weighed a mere 8 oz. and without fully functioning legs, vertebrae, or lungs. The baby was even born with the most peculiar of eyes, a shade of blue and green that seemingly mixed and waned. Even as she was removed from the womb she had made not a single sound, as compared to most other children that came out of the test tubes kicking and screaming. All these defects were not of big concern as in 2974 A.D. they clearly had superior technology and could easily fix the child, but for some reason whenever any machinery got near the child all information was instantly wiped from their systems by an unknown interference. This unknown interference would later be identified as one of the first esper powers to be discovered, a field that could create powerful ¨C short bursts of what seemed at the time to be magnetic distortions all around her. In 2974 A.D. The job of doctors had long been replaced with machinery so no one was able to save her and everyone expected the child to die. Throughout all the odds the baby lived through a day, and then a week. The baby¡¯s lungs had grown just large enough that they wouldn¡¯t collapse into her own body and she appeared to be breathing and even started crying 2 weeks later. The parents were clearly moved and ecstatic that their child survived. In fact, not only them but the other 800 billion humans from nearly 60 planets had let out their breaths as they watched the miracle child be born, nearly die, and live again. The parents held their child for the first time in weeks and both cried. The father had suddenly remembered that the child had no name as they all expected her to die. The father looked into the child¡¯s blue and green waning eyes, a future of hope, and a new dawn approaching. He realized there was only one name that would fit her. Aurora. Chapter 2 : Aurora (2) Aurora¡¯s parents haven¡¯t removed the child from the hospital quite yet. The bursts of magnetic energy around her was seen as a real threat to the government. Under Galactic Article #6893294 any attack on public technology was seen as a terrorist threat. This rule was made ages ago when cities became almost entirely made of tech. Everything had tech : from the solar paneled roads to the nano-machines filtering the nearby air, the walls of buildings, and etc. Government officials actually wanted to take the child away from her parents due to her special unidentifiable power. However, her father was no measly character. He was the president of the Union Institution of Technology and was himself spearheading the tech that would change everyone¡¯s lives, the creation of artificial intelligence. This position was equal on footing to multiple individual planetary governments combined and no one could stop the influence of tech in their own lives. So instead they let the galactically-proclaimed genius to his own means and let him decide the future of his daughter. The father decided to leave her at her current hospital, as it was nearby work, the tech there was easily modifiable, located on his estate, and was rather large. Aurora¡¯s powers seem to have a range of about 15 meters around her. The effect also seemed to expand when she was angry and completely dissipated when she was sleeping. Her mother decided to make a garden entirely made just for Aurora to play around in and built a house specifically catered for her aversion to technology. Aurora started being able to speak her first words after simply 2 months of being born.Evidently, in place of her non-functioning legs and limited stamina, she received a superior intellect. Aurora¡¯s mother realized this potential in her and had books specifically created and shipped to start teaching Aurora. Aurora by the age of 6 months was able to read and speak Commons. Her mother was astounded and loved talking to her intelligent little baby. Aurora¡¯s mother then focused on bringing books from every planet. Eventually, a large library was built that would house books and be constantly stocked with new books. You would often be able to see little Aurora being pushed around in her wheelchair by her mother to look at books. At age 1, Aurora began writing her own diary in secret as a pastime. At age 2, Aurora was reading about the past and about games. She also read about the current affairs with planets revolting against the Union. She didn¡¯t understand how people could fight and kill so meaninglessly for such conflicts. She hoped that maybe she herself could end those conflicts one day. Aurora was now the age of 3 and ironically enough had a growing interest in technology. She wished to be able to one day come in contact with technology like her father¡¯s and not destroy it.She wished for the technology that would allow her to move and play freely. Her father occasionally came by the house and realized the interest that had begun to bud in the girl and he didn¡¯t have the heart to tell her it wasn¡¯t possible with her condition. So instead, he came to teach her about his own work and his progress in creating Artificial Intelligence. This also allowed him to vent his frustrations that he couldn¡¯t express to others. He had trouble in creating a logical approach to how the A.I. would respond in contact with human emotions. The preliminary A.I. had failed all basic human personality tests and eventually broke down due to the logic interference it would experience afterwards. This meant the A.I. could not have contact with humans or it will start breaking down. Aurora at age 3 worried about her father so she began to study greatly in the topic of human emotions and programming. Along with her father¡¯s own private lessons when he had the time, her knowledge grew at an enormous pace and within a year she had the skills of an average team member within her father¡¯s circle of colleagues. Nobody understood how the girl was able to infer and learn information so fast. Aurora herself had no idea as she simply seemed to remember knowledge whenever it was mentioned. It just sort of appeared in her mind if she thought hard enough about the problem. However, what happened next astounded even her own father. Aurora equipped with a pen and a book began to write out an equation and code with her own little hands. She would often complain about her cramped hands and tireless nights equal to a number of times her own father would complain about work. When she was 4 and half years old she had finally begun to finish the book that she had written. The book was her gift to her father. She handed the book over to her father and the expression on her father¡¯s face was one of amazement. Aurora¡¯s father then decided to immediately have each book page scanned and translated to the computer. The results were astounding, A.I.s became able to learn at an even more accelerated rate due to the final added code and had no problems with human emotions. The creation of the first A.I. was witnessed by Aurora¡¯s father and his team and dreams of a limitless future came to them. The miracle code was named the Aurora code and labeled as an achievement of the miracle child born to a great fate. The code would then become the basis of many future A.I.s. However, in a galaxy far away a war was ignited between humans and they heard the news. THEY heard of the wonder child who created the key code and the creation of A.I.s. THEY heard of the miracle child that was the future of mankind. THEY heard of the mysterious powers she had. THEY heard of the tech-less garden she resided in. Chapter 3 : Aurora (3) On the planet of Relisvante in the Silk Light galaxy was what could be called a state of perpetual human vs human warfare. However, it wasn¡¯t always like this. In 2700, Relisvante was a frontier human planet colony that was frequently attacked by alien life forms. Due to the constant warfare, their entire system was built upon military achievements. ¡°Oh, you¡¯ve taken out another hive? With only your entire squad? We shall award you this medal of honor.¡± the commanders would say. Nothing else, just a hunk of metal and maybe some self-esteem. Every action was limited by the Union, an interplanetary group for humans that came from Earth and the original ¡°Big 3¡±. Even the resources that they acquired were mostly taken back to the other industrial planets. At some point, people began to call this planet ¡°Hell¡±. Fighting waves and waves of torment to get rewarded with death. Eventually, they got tired of this endless cycle of slaughter, eat, and death. I guess ¡°tired¡± would be ironic since these were mutant humans didn¡¯t need sleep. They were human-based soldiers that had been genetically modified to be the perfect soldier. Strong, resistant, no need of sleep, and intelligent enough to follow orders. They wanted to change their way of life. To breath a new change of air, to be able to control how they were made, to gain rewards that were fulfilling. However, they just simply couldn¡¯t change. Their weapons were supplied by the Union and the simple fact that most of them were not intelligent enough to disobey orders. So they trudged on with their endless cycle of slaughter, eat, and death for 250 years. It all changed when the Fir Nashions attacked. For the first time, the mutants had fought an attack where they were destroyed and captured. Their captors were beings that had completely similar appearances to humans, besides their blazing red skin. They began communicating after a short amount of deciphering and eventually came to make a deal with the soldiers. Their message was concise. You fight for us and we will give you the supplies to fight for your freedom. The Fir Nashions offered them a new path. A path they thought would have never opened. They returned to their compatriots and staged a coup d¡¯etat against the Union officers. Every last one of them were killed, all 3 of them. Funny how an entire population of nearly 400 billion beings was able to be controlled by simply 3 humans. Hilarious was the fact that they were so easy to kill. Report any sightings. That day for the first time they all experienced the closest they will ever be to a dream and from this dream came to their own resistance, The Relisvante Visionaries. Leaders came forth from the very shadows of the soldiers. These were the soldiers that acted their role to escape the pruning of intelligent mutant soldiers that the 3 administrators did every week to ensure loyalty. Ironically, the first plan was to go back to the endless war that they had grown so fond and sick of. With the Fir Nashions equal firepower, they managed to fight back and take 16 Union planets. However, eventually they were simply at a stand-still. They had no advantages and sometimes they were even seemingly pushed back, though people would deny it. It was simply defense and more defense. Nothing very dramatic changed for 28 years. Then, the first A.I., Aurora, was created. Aurora (A.I) changed the face of the war completely. They let Aurora adjust for 2 years and eventually left it to fight its own battles. It won battle after battle with no losses. The Union no longer needed humans to fight the war as all battles were run by the A.I. After 2 years the war was completely shifted towards the Union. The precision of the calculations and decision making of the A.I. at some points were almost seemingly prophecies. Even the Union members were scared of the potential the Aurora had and its capacity to learn. The Relisvante Visionaries were eventually pushed back by one planet, then six, and then sixteen. Aurora was learning to deal with them faster and faster at an exponential rate. They feared what was to come, complete annihilation. Even the Fir Nashions were hesitating to warp back to their own planet and give up on the Relisvante Visionaries.Then they heard a little message from a traveling bird. The fact that the name of the Aurora wasn¡¯t the original name of the A.I. It was actually named after an 8-year-old girl that was able to complete the puzzle of A.I.s at the young age of 4. They got detailed information on the Garden that she lived in. The girl lived in a tech-less garden with almost little to none defenses, but for good reason. It was located on the original Earth. The so-called birthplace of humanity, the creator of their people, and their true enemy. Securities around Earth and in-between was nothing to scoff at. One leader suggested a plan. The plan required the use of the elite group trained by the Fir Nashions. These were the Black Mutants, a group of trained monsters that even the A.I. had troubled with. 10 of the highest class members were chosen. They were named M1 ¨C M10 as according to the ranking of each member. The Fir Nashions approved of the plan and gave them one of their most prized technologies, one that even the humans had yet to devise, Instant ¨C tunnel warping. This tech came in the form of a stealth warp ship that the even the Fir Nashions would pride themselves on. The 10 got into the sleet jet-shaped warp ship and prepared themselves. Prepared themselves to save their planet and their way of life. Chapter 4 : Aurora (4) After the creation of the A.I., Aurora (girl) wanted to find a way to cure all of her faults. She wanted to cure her entire body so she can run and play without the assistance of her mother or anyone. She wanted to find a way for her to experience technology in its full glory, rather than the stories and history that she read from the book pages. So she started brainstorming possible ways to achieve her goal. She read more books, talked to her father incessantly when he came by, and annoyed her mother with her constant theories. At one point the mother was so annoyed that she told her to go move somewhere else. Little did the mother know that this simple phrase inspired little Aurora. Aurora thought that maybe if she could move her ¡°self¡± to another body she would be able to rid herself of the magnetic field and the failing body parts. And so Aurora, with her tiny little fists and green-blue eyes, began her next greatest achievement at a mere age of 5 years. Aurora for the next 3 years locked herself in her library and only opened when it was time to eat. Her mother was of course worried but she didn¡¯t have the heart to tell the little girl to stop being passionate about the one thing that she could do. Aurora for the next year would only be frustrated and seemingly waste her time on the project that she had started. The frustration grew and grew and with her growing frustration her powers also grew berserk. One night she was so frustrated that the entire city was down for 10 min. Her dad figured that she was the only one that could cause this and immediately walked home and told her to calm down. She then realized that her power had a lot to do with her mind. This brought out a curiosity towards the one thing that she detested the most in her life. Maybe this power had something to do with her intelligence. Ways to test her powers and their relation to her mind and intelligence was soon created by herself. She at first began to expand her power and then lower her power down through moods. Afterwards, she focused on one task and the power seemed to concentrate itself. Her findings discovered that her powers really never could go lower than a 15m radius and she could expand it to what seemed like endless. She also realized that when she created the final piece to the A.I. she had focused all her being and the information seem to come to her, possibly through her power. Aurora then tried something completely new. One night she focused all her energy into one thought in her mind. She thought about her want, no, she needs for the technology to move consciousnesses. She tried again and again. Each time she tried she would fail and with each failure she grew angrier and angrier. She screamed with her weak lungs. Instead of a scream, it came out as more of a hoarse wail. She focused harder and harder. Then suddenly the force around her jerked upwards. The aurorean lights had come earlier and were more widespread than ever, covering the entire world in a majestic green and light. All of Earth witnessed the darkest night in humanity¡¯s technology and the brightest night in the natural sky. Almost as fast as it had came it left. Technology resumed almost immediately and the lights disappeared from the sky. However, no one could forget the 5 seconds of the event that had occurred. One of these people that could not forget was little Aurora herself. Her mind was back from the blankness she had experienced. In place of her blankness was new found information. The information to transfer a consciousness to another platform in the form of data. It wasn¡¯t quite what she wanted but it was a step in the right direction. For an entire year she wrote in her notebooks (she had long expanded out from her original notebook and now had around 3000 notebooks of her very own). She wrote down everything she knew. She had written down a way for her to achieve movement of her body and at the same time come near technology once again. She brought her notes to her father and proudly presented it to him and had him bring all the books to the reader (a device that her father created specifically for Aurora to compile her knowledge in her notebooks). Her father was astounded by the idea of transferring her consciousness into an A.I. and giving her a new virtual body to move. However, he did not want this to happen at all. He refused to believe that his beautiful daughter would resign her body in order to simply move around in a virtual reality. He berated her telling her that this idea was impossible and he refused to allow it to happen. He had clearly underestimated her passion for movement and technology. He ordered her to leave and go to her room. She wheeled herself out of the library rapidly, but didn''t return to the mansion. She actually had hiden herself in the garden to wait for her dad to leave the library so she could return to her comfort zone. She then reentered the library and began to cry. Her father had denied her for the first time in her life and what he denied her was her idea of achieving her dreams. However, little did Aurora or her father know that the last conversation they would have would be of them arguing. Chapter 5 : Aurora (5) The Fir Nashions warp ship launched itself from the Relisvante space station. The coordinates were set for Aurora''s garden and all procedures were checked. The 10 Black Mutants were ready to move out. All that was left was to push the warp button and they would begin their mission. The warp would be instantaneous meaning that the ship will appear at the coordinates within a second. M1, the one in charge of the mission, hovered his finger over the button. The click of this button would determine if their planet would survive. Or the click of this button could end in another failure and be the end of their survival. One click to let them gain an advantage in this losing war. He gently brushed his finger upon the smooth surface of the button. As he was about to push it he felt something amiss and looked up and around. He looked at his fellow comrades and around the ship, looking for something that had caused this uneasiness. He had found nothing. Nothing to soothe his uneasiness. He looked back at the button and decided to clear his head one last time. He nodded to M2, his childhood friend that was born in adjacent test tubes, and pressed the button. At the same time, a brilliant beam of light surged by Relisvante. All forms of technology were shut off on Relisvante and everyone froze on the planet. Everyone stopped what they were doing and stood there, dumbfounded at the tech that had shut off. The warp ship, however, was only slightly affected as it was already in warp at the exact second the beam had interfered. The beam had interfered mere nanoseconds after the warp and although it didn''t shut off the warp engine it had scrambled its coordinates. Everyone in the ship hadn''t even realized what had happened before the warp started and were sent on their way. The scrambling of coordinates was not a simple error. It had sent coordinates to31,536,000 different locations. This meant that they would be warping for an entire Earth year before the system would stop its warp.Luckily, unknown to them at the time was that the last destination was approximately near Aurora''s garden They had no means to stop it as they were already in warp and they would not get the chance to even move before the next warp occurred. They had to stay still and hope the warp would end soon. So they began their universal trek of 1 second to different locations. It would have been a great vacation if they didn''t have only 1 second to experience the view. Surviving with no food for 1 year was normal for the Black Mutants, as they were genetically modified even more than their predecessors to become even more of a fighting machine. So they could only sit still and wait. On the 31,535,999th warp, just 1 second before the final warp and the arrival of the destination at Aurora''s garden. They had to delay their plans by an entire year because of the mysterious beam and could only hope that their planet and people were still existing. The Ship warped to Aurora''s garden. The Relisvante Terrorists are a distinct kind of creature that can be identifiable by their very large build, coarse voice, and lack of hair. Now, i''m sure many of you know but the Estinger estate is one of the largest estates on Earth and is home to the the Head of the Union Institution of Technology, Dr. Estinger. Some of you also know this estate as Aurora''s Garden, Aurora Estinger''s home. An unidentified explosion had just occurred in the center of the estate. It is suspected that this is the Relisvante Terrorists last ditch effort at wreaking havoc. We can only hope that there are no casualties. More news on this emergency will be reported very shortly. . . . . Chapter 6 : Aurora (6) Aurora''s father or otherwise known as Dr. Estinger had heard the nearby deafening explosion. He screamed out for his wife and daughter, but only his wife had responded. He then proceeded to look out the window. What he saw was a surreal scene, a sleek black jet that had an origin that he did not know of had suddenly appeared inside his estate''s library. The library was on fire and with the fuel of books, it was gradually growing larger and larger. He was relieved that he had not stayed there scolding Aurora about her ridiculous plan. Then he remembered, he had no idea where Aurora was. In her fit of rage, she wheeled herself out of the library. However, he knew that the only sanctuary she had was the library. His face paled. Ragged breaths. She couldn''t have returned to her library. He had clearly watched her go out. Dr. Estinger ran outside to the wreckage. Bodies were strewn around but they were clearly 7 feet taller than little Aurora and appeared to be the Relisvante mutants. His face paled further at the thought of any surviving Relisvante mutants running around in his estate. The Relisvante mutants were known for being resilient to damage and these mutants had clearly been modified. He would know best as he had created the mutants himself. He ran to the wreckage that was beginning to smolder into a tower of flames. He screamed out for Aurora. No response was heard. He went into the wreckage of the library. He began going towards the location of Aurora''s favorite desk. The desk was made of wood from Floral, a mysterious planet that only had overgrown plants. It had carvings of a curved flower that shined because of the inlaid green and blue gems at the tips of the flowers. A small moon above it indicated that the flower was a species that reacted to the moonlight. Very likely it was closely related to the Cestrum Nocturnum flower species. The carvings spread along the legs. However, what was left of the table was a pitiful shell of its former glory. It was split in the middle, right in-between the green and blue gems that showed the brilliance of the flower. The wood was smoldering and the legs had been tossed to the side and were beginning to become food for the fire. He scanned around very briefly in a circle and called out to Aurora once more. This time he had heard a grumble. Not fearing if it was a Relisvante mutant or anything else he ran towards the sound. What he saw was his beautiful daughter''s body under the rubble of some shelves. He was devastated. He knew there was no possible way that her lungs could hold out for much longer and her physique was too weak to handle the pressure. However, looking upon the rubble he felt a crushing feeling rising from the pit of his stomach. It was enormous, with thousands of books that they had collected from multiple planets. He then remembered the secret serum that the Union had asked him to create. One that was very similar to a dope and could increase your muscle mass and physique instantly. The problem was that the base of the serum was the genetic code of the Relisvante mutants. The Union could not fully give up on the strength of the mutants and resourcefulness. He had not tested out the serum but he injected it anyways. There was no possible way he was letting go of the bright future of his one child. The child that could solve many problems with just her pen. Blood was spewing forth from her wounds, and he could see bits of flesh that were torn away from her body and on the corners of the bookshelf. That''s right, how could he have forgotten what the force of a fallen bookshelf of several 15 meters and almost a ton of weight in books could do to a human body. He did the calculations in his head and knew he was right. However, he couldn''t accept it. There was no possible way his daughter could die. Not like this, and not now. She was a child of fate, a future that could change the corruption of the Union itself. Perhaps she could have even found a way to make peace with the world. He couldn''t do anything else but stare into his daughter''s dimming eyes. Even though she could not scream, her eyes showed the great pain she was in. The once iridescent blue and green in her eyes had almost waned completely away. His daughter had survived for more than 30 seconds due to the fact that the flaming bookshelf had cauterized most of her wounds from the waist down and lessened the blood loss. She had only about 1 minute left to live. He carried her out and ran to his lab quickly. The mysterious force around her had completely disappeared and he could safely bring her around tech. He put her in a capsule filled with a gelatin-like substance. He readjusted chemicals inside to increase endorphins to reduce the pain. He looked into her daughter''s eyes. They had faded almost completely and were a more grayish color with tiny flecks of blue and green. He began to reduce the temperature of the gelatin-like substance. She didn''t even have a chance to scream in horror and collapsed. Dr. Estinger managed to catch his wife before she fully collapsed. He looked back at the capsule thinking of ideas to save his child. He suddenly remembered the idea that Aurora had made. The ideq he had denied because of the fear of losing Aurora''s real body and the unknown possibilities of her idea. He had no choice now. He had to use her idea or she will have no body at all. The idea of moving a conscience into an A.I. Chapter 7 : Aurora (7) Dr. Estinger had limited amount of time in his estate because authorities were going to check what happened very soon. If they found him in his current form... there would be no questions -- only a quick shot to the head. He looked at the capsule containing his daughter and picked it up. The capsule was originally made so they could analyze and preserve the specimens for an indefinite amount of time. This capsule was only around the size of a brief case and could easily carry small specimens. It was a sick joke that the next specimen that was in this small capsule would be half of his daughter''s body. He looked at his wife and picked her up, carrying her to the outside and setting her on the grass hill. She was still out cold. He knew what he had to do next. He had to run away. He would be no doubt marked as a terrorist from now on. Being captured or killed would not help him accomplish his goal. He then walked to his lab and copied all of his computer''s information and all of his previous research. He rigged all of the generators in his house so it would explode and set the computers to begin an overload of the Institution''s network. He turned back from his mansion and went to the parking lot nearby. The parking lot of all citizens on Earth was not your normal parking lot. All of Earth''s citizens were the most elite of the elites and each "parking lot" easily contained a spaceship or two. He had grabbed one of the 6 ships in his parking lot and prepared to leave to head to the Institute. He had to go to the institute and acquire the source code of the A.I., Aurora. The source code was what he needed to transfer his daughters consciousness into. Once, he took the source code Union would lose all access to the A.I. and the A.I. would shutdown. However, he himself knew that stealing it would not be an easy task. He knew the Union wouldn''t leave such a precious thing alone with no securities. He wasn''t even sure if he would be able to accomplish the task with a 60% success rate. As he got onto his favorite space ship, The Tek, he felt an instant relief and familiarity to the ship. He had named the ship with his other colleagues and friends when they had traveled to their first planet. The name was an example of when one of his team members misspelled tech when he had accidentally not slept for 5 days in a row working on a minor problem with the initial A.I. protocols. This ship was designed by himself, fully equipped with a lab, a water filter, green house, and even was outfitted for war. The ship was fully autonomous and could house even 80 people easily. This ship might seem to be over-kill, but you must remember that he was an elite scientist that needed to travel around, sometimes to other planets, with his team to conduct experiments. As he entered The Tek it had recognized him instantly even though he was immensely different. This was a relief off of his mind because if the ship could recognize him then the recognition system in the Institution would recognize him too. This would take off a lot of the stress when he infiltrated. However, what he didn''t see was the one black scaled mutant in the corner of the parking lot. This was M1, the only one remaining of the Black Mutants. He had recognized the Doctor even in his current form. Looking everyday at the face of the man who created their race and harmed his family made him memorize the face of his target. Although he had questioned why he appeared to look like one of them he still charged him and knocked him on the ground. The Doctor scrambled around and let loose of the capsule in his hand as it scrambled away from his reach. Dr. Estinger looked at the Mutant in the eye with great amounts of panic. Although he had gain a superior body he still couldn''t even remotely fight against the mutant. These slugs were made to hit and expand instantly, almost like a foam. It would then harden, stick to a nearby surface, and restrain even the force of 10 spaceships with their engines at max thrust. The slugs hit M1 in the arm and quickly expanded around his arm. However, M1 had a relaxed face and simply flexed his muscles and broke the slug. The slug had fallen off revealing M1''s muscles and his scales jutting out of his arm like blades, poking holes into the slug. The squad leader of the 10 instantly shouted out "RED" and the other 9 pulled out heavy grade laser cannons in a great panic. Clearly a mutant with the power of 10 spaceships was not normal and they had never seen anything like it. However in their panic, M1 had already rushed up to them and swiftly decapitated all 10 of them instantly. M1 raised his eyelids in wonder, mainly because he had no eye brows to lift. Seeing as there was no tension between him and the doctor he relaxed. *We have lifted off and will be arriving at the Institute in 2 min at a speed of 10,000 mph. We are currently over the speed limit for ships on Earth by 9600 mph.* A deep rumbling noise came out of M1 as he spoke. "Why?" "Because I can answer your questions, and I can help you if you help me." "Oh ho, and why do you think I would believe you." "Your planet has already been cleared of all mutants 2 days ago." Chapter 7.5 : News Update *doo doo doooodoooooo* *Union News logo appears* This is Union news and we are back to give you the latest updates on the recent explosion at the site. Currently our cameras are not allowed onto the estate itself as ordered by the military but we have been allowed to film from the premises. However, as you can see from the feed you can clearly see the library tower burning and half collapsed. There seems to be a ship in the rubbles of the collapsed tower. Further zoom reveals several Relisvantian bodies, but these Relisvantians are different as they have what seems to be mutated black scales and larger physiques as compared to normal Relisvantians.The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings. The soldiers have organized and are beginning to move in to ensure Dr. Estingers safety. Wait.. What is tha.... Dr. Estinger was leisurely drinking some tea while M1 was glaring at the Dr. They had to sit in seats that were too small for them so it looked almost like two adults playing with a kid''s tea set. Dr. Estinger had to have his tea or else he would be completely in panic at the situation at hand. He had completely fell out with the Union now. The soldiers widened their eyes and changed their focus from Dr. Estinger to M1. M1 picked up his gun and shot at the soldiers meanwhile crushing the sentry robots in his bare hands. Dr. Estinger could do nothing except "shoot" at the enemies. Dr. Estinger couldn''t really aim correctly as he had never fought and wasn''t use to his body at all still. M1 fought as an one-man army and repeatedly tanked all the shots and crushing the sentry robots with his hands. They moved forward at a very fast pace and appeared to be unstoppable. Dr. Estinger walked up to the platform that led to the gigantic ball and began rapidly tapping away. M1 couldn''t understand what Dr. Estinger was doing so he turned around and watched the hallway that led to the elevator. Suddenly, the doors opened and out came more enemies. Soldiers stood behind the sentries and charged down the hallway. M1 took out a few restraining slugs and fired them at the walls. The slugs quickly expanded and made a wall to temporarily block them in. "HURRY UP THEY ARE STARTING TO COME IN." Dr. Estinger was already madly perspiring profusely as he tried to type faster. The center of the ball then suddenly ejected a small chip that was brought down by a mechanical arm. All the lights on the ball began flashing then turned into an ominous red. "HELL YES!" Dr. Estinger pumped his fist and put the chip into the capsule that Aurora lied in. He then started running towards a wall like a madman and punched the wall. The wall suddenly caved in wards and revealed a couple escape capsules that ejected you from the bottom most floor of the institute to the surface for emergencies. At this moment the soldiers broke the restraining slug wall and charged in. M1 started throwing explosives and retreated further. M1 turned around and saw that Dr. Estinger had already climbed into an escape capsule that was hidden along the wall. Dr. Estinger looked at M1 and stuck his thumbs up as he mouthed the words good luck. "YOU BASTARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" M1 sprinted towards the capsules rapidly as he fired back at the approaching army. M1 suddenly jerked his body to the right and dodged an electric rail gun shot. However he didn''t fully dodge it as it completely tore through all of his scale armor and muscles on his shoulder. He threw himself into the capsule and threw out one last explosive. The capsule shot up as the explosions wrecked all the other escape capsules. The soldiers have to give up their chase and tell the soldiers on the surface to immediately begin a search of the perimeter. Dr. Estinger was already on the surface and Tek had just arrived at exactly 45 min., just as he had calculated. He ran towards the ship and was about to enter it when M1 was ejected from the ground. M1 looked at Dr. Estinger with anger and began sprinting at max speed. M1 then did a long jump, very similar to the jump of a past olympian event. M1''s body physique was so monstrous that one jump could easily cover a distance of 100 ft in a second. He landed behind a paniced Dr. Estinger, grabbed him, and then threw him in. Tek began lifting off and went at maximum speed to break orbit and launch into space. Dr. Estinger gave a wry smile towards the enraged M1. "How about a cup of tea?" Chapter 9 : Aurora (9) "Human, your heart has abnormal palpitations, but what I smell isn''t fear but excitement. Unless you''re a masochist you better start speaking and answering my questions." Dr. Estinger held the capsule closer and tighter unknowingly. M1 wouldn''t have missed this small action from his keen eyes. "Let''s begin with the capsule." M1 brought his hand closer to the capsule. Dr. Estinger grabbed M1''s hand and managed to stop his movement. He began to speak. "Answer your questions? Capsule? DO YOU KNOW WHO CAUSED THIS? SHE WOULD BE ALRIGHT. SHE WOULD HAVE LIVED IN PEACE BY MY SIDE. SHE WOULD HAVE..." M1 was surprised by the his sudden outburst of emotion. He was even more surprised by the fact that this human was now in control of his body that was similar to a Relisvantian. However, it wasn''t enough. M1 grabbed Dr. Estinger''s wrist and flipped him over. M1 then put Dr. Estinger in a choke hold and the capsule slid far away from his hand. Dr. Estinger''s eyes were blood shot as he struggled to get out of the grab and reached for the capsule. "Now, let''s see whats in this capsule that you are so desperate for." "DON''T... Dr. Estinger increased his rate of flailing but was easily controlled like a little kid under the arms of M1. "Eos Estinger, how about we go to that tea drinking you were talking about earlier." M1 held down the doctor until he calmed down, it took a long time and a lot of restraining until he calmed down. M1 had the patience though as he had experienced hunts much longer than this. However, a sudden beam messed up our entire navigation system so we warped to millions of places in the universe before getting here." "Ah the massive tech failure and the wordly Earth Aurora. I always suspected that my daughter had something to do with that but she always refused to answer." "So the death of my comrades was because of your daughter...?" M1 began laughing in a seemingly crazed manner. "My friends are dead, my race evicted, and I have no where to call home. Your daughter is in near death, you''ve been evicted from your planet, and now you have no place to call home. This universe is much too small for us to meet in this manner." "It really is isn''t it..." Both of them sighed. "Well, can you explain to me the state of my world at least." Dr. Estinger pulled up a screen and showed him. Scrap metal floated around the planet and the previously barren land was even more devastated. They seemed to have bomb the barren land so hard that even the barren land could be barely called that anymore. Fires were still going, buildings collapsed, and the air seemed thicker. "I guess it''s true... I''ve captured Aurora and stopped the A.I. all one year too late. I''ve completed my mission but failed my purpose." The scene began to pan out and Dr. Estinger began to notice abnormalities. The armies of the humans were in a disarray. Sentry robots had begun to shoot at eachother and friendlies. The ships crashed and the soldiers were in panic. The sudden stopping of commands by Aurora had made a massive impact on the army as the army was in a state of mass panic and destruction. Nearly 75% of the human military forces were mobilized for the war and the military stationed there had begun to wittle down as nobody had accurate information on who were enemies or not. The Relisvantian resistance also began to loot and attack ships in the mass panic of the army. Some Relisvantian ships were shot down and some were successful. M1 could only let out one sentence at the scene. "This.. Ah. The shutting down of A.I. is putting them in a mass panic." They watched the brilliant fireworks of the destruction of the Human military and remnants of the Relisvante resistance in silence. Chapter 10 : Aurora (10) Dr. Estinger and M1 were both extremely fatigued from all the running and fighting. Seeing that Tek had long left behind the Milky Way and was approaching a new system, Tri Colossus, they both began to rest. Tri Colossus was accurately named as the system only had 3 extremely large planets with an even larger star at the center of it. It was devoid of life and only occasionally did a patrol came by. The planet closest to the star was impossible to live on as the heat climbed up to around 800 degrees Celsius at its highest. The other two planets were gas planets and much larger than the other planet. This was extremely surprising as the first planet could easily hold 1200 Earths. Dr. Estinger and M1 weren''t worried that any patrol would come by soon because of the war front. Around 5 hours later Dr. Estinger woke up, much earlier than M1 as he had to heal his cauterized wound from the railgun. This involved him recutting around the wound and then resting. He didn''t need medicine as his recovery speed was extremely high and such a wound would only take some time. He had previously been extremely paniced and hadn''t even looked anywhere else besides her face and wounds. He noticed for the first time that it was there and went to the cryo-lab to begin removing the book. He put on his suit and entered the cryo-lab. As the name suggests it was created solely for cryogenic freezing. It was made when the first successful subject of cryogenic freezing died after they too hastily opened the capsule. He had instantly exploded into many shards upon contact with the air. The subject was George, the monkey. Poor monkey. After setting up the required tools, he swiped over an option on the capsule. Two thin mechanical arms appeared on both sides and he highlighted the item he wanted to remove. The mechanical arms went to work and meticulously slid the book under the arms of Aurora. The book was then brought through a small chamber where they slowly adjusted the temperatures to melt the slime on it and return it to its original state. He took the capsule back out and retrieved the book from outside the cryo-lab, where it had been waiting for him all nice and neat. The book was charred in the corner and it was tightly hugged to Aurora''s chest even in near death. On top of it was labeled Diary. It didn''t take a genius to understand what the book was.
