 Chapter 11- A Blast From The Past!- Part 2

    "Mokichi" came a very familiar voice to Mokici''s ear, he turned around slowly "It, can''t be" sure enough as he turned he saw her unmistakable blonde hair, and her sapphire blue eyes looking straight at him "Ma..Maki-chan" he let her name escape his mouth this caused a screeching silence to come over those in the booth with him. The four sisters exchanged looks with each other "Maki-chan?" they thought for a bit, then all together they reached a realization "That Maki-chan!!" they looked towards the blonde haired girl looking directly and only at Mokichi. Mokichi stood up from the booth "Maki-chan, what are you doing here?" Mokichi''s heart was pounding in his chest a mile a minuet Maki of all people, was right in front of him Maki, a girl whose heart he broke so long ago. Maki cleared her throat, she wanted to get over the fact she was staring at the boy who broke her heart before she spoke "Well, I had a day off from school, and I decided to come to this town after hearing about it" Maki looked away from Mokichi who felt a twinge of guilt and pain in his heart.


    Was Maki still angry with him about what he did to him and the others back home, just remembering made him ask something out loud "How..are the others?" Maki seemed to shudder at his words she looked at him and could see the sad and worried look on his face. "Well..." she began "Miyu-chan moved as well" "When did she move?" Maki searched her thoughts "I believe I was just a few months ago" Mokichi smiled "I see, so she''s doing okay" Maki looked at Mokichi''s face seeing the smile on his face brought back a lot of memories, even the bad one. "Well, what about the others?" Mokichi was curious about what had happened after he left his hometown, about what happen to Maki and the other girls whom he hurt "What''s Sami up to?" Maki smiled "Sami-san''s on the track team, she''s become a really good track star and she''s the ace of the whole team" Maki beamed Mokichi chuckled "Leave it to her to be the top athlete". "What about Mari-chan?" Mokichi wanted to know how well Mari was getting along, after all she was really shy with new people, just like Koharu was.


    "Mari-chan''s doing good, she''s broken out of her shell" Mokichi chuckled to himself "Well I''ll be damned, Mari-chan broke away from her shyness, finally" Mokichi couldn''t help but smile "Yeah, it was a surprise to me as well, she''s gotten a lot of friends now" "I see,that''s good, good for her" Mokichi remembered how timid and shy Mari had been, picturing her surrounded by people smiling and laughing made him feel warm inside. "Well, what about you?" he asked looking at her, he noticed she had changed somewhat since he last saw her "Me? well, I''ve been okay I guess" "How''s your Mom and Dad?" Maki seemed to brighten up, "Mom and Dad are great, there still the same" Mokichi laughed lightly "That''s good to hear, my Mom''s still the same" Maki laughed as well. "That''s great, what about Ruri-chan?" Mokichi scratched his head "She changed a bit, but, deep down she''s still the same Ruri I''ve know" "I see" Maki giggled, it was really a nostalgic feeling talking and laughing with Mokichi again she looked directly at him, she hadn''t noticed it at first, but, Mokichi had changed a whole lot since she spent time with him.


    "You''ve changed a lot Mokichi" she commented, Mokichi smiled "Have I?" he rubbed the back of his head "Well, you''ve changed as well Maki-chan" Maki sure had changed, she had a more robust figure then he remembered, and her eyes, they had gotten a brighter blue, and her hair, which use to be to just her shoulders was now reaching to the middle of her back. "You..look good" he said out loud, when he realized that his face went red Maki laughed seeing Mokichi so flustered after so long made her feel warm inside "Thanks" Mokichi chuckled  at that moment he remembered why he was where he was, he had been in his own little world, he looked back at the four sisters that were looking directly at him and Maki. This made Maki come down to earth as well, she looked at the four girls that were sitting down in the booth each one was beautiful, Maki felt a bit of heartache, but she put on a smile "So, who are your friends?" Mokichi jolted, he looked at the four sisters "Well, this is Reiko, Euiko, Koharu, and Saeko Nakashima" he said pointing out each sister.


    Maki had a befuddled look on her face "You guys are sisters?" the four sisters nodded "Yep, nice to meet ya''" Euiko piped up "N..Nice to meet you as well" Maki gave a bow, "So, Maki-san" Saeko spoke up, Maki looked at Saeko, she couldn''t believe how beautiful she was, with her long dark red hair flowing like a waterfall behind her. "Your Maki-san, your an old friend of Mochin''s" Maki nodded "You could say that" Euiko chuckled "Got any embarrassing stories about Moki-kun here" she jabbed Mokichi in the side "Hey stop that!" Euiko stuck her tounge out at Mokichi. Maki stared at the girl Mokichi had pointed out a Euiko, she was beautiful as well her dark red-orange hair reaching her shoulders, and she reminded Maki so much of Sami and how she would pick on Mokichi all the time "I have lots of stories" Maki smiled "Maki!" Mokichi shouted "Uhm.." Koharu spoke up Maki looked to where Koharu was, she could see Koharu twiddling her fingers, she could tell the girl was nervous, almost like Mari, "Yes?" Maki asked "Well, how long have you.." Koharu paused and rekindled her courage "How long have you know Momo?".

    Maki thought for a bit, "I believe, I''ve know him for, four years I think" Koharu nodded and smiled "Then, you must know a lot about Momo" Maki looked at Mokichi "I guess you could say that" Koharu smiled "It would be really great to know more about Momo" "Would it now" Maki had a twinge of heartache a second time she hadn''t noticed before but, Koharu was very cute, and her shoulder length red-orange hair made her look even cuter. "So, your Maki-chan" Reiko said, Maki looked at Reiko like her sisters she was beautiful and cute at the same time, her red hair reached between her shoulder blades "Yes, I am, and your Reiko-san right?" Reiko nodded "Yeah, and your the one who hurt Mo-kun" silence filled the booth area again. Maki felt like she had gotten a swift kick to her chest and stomach, "What?" Maki mumbled Reiko looked angrily at Maki "I said your the one who hurt Mo-kun" Reiko stood up in the booth "Re..Reiko.." her sisters mumbled. They all knew who Maki was, they knew what she did to Mokichi, and yes, that made them a bit angry, but, they weren''t going to act on their feelings but Reiko however, was a different case.


    "Reiko..please" Mokichi pleaded, "No! Mo-kun, I can''t stay quiet, this girl hurt you" Reiko gritted her teeth angrily "That''s something I won''t let slip by" "Reiko.." Mokichi looked at Maki, who had a hurt expression on her face, "But, he hurt me, us.." Maki mumbled Reiko grumbled "Bullshit!" Reiko shouted she slammed a fist into the table. "Reiko!" her sisters shouted trying to get her to calm down "You don''t understand what Mokichi did that day" Reiko clenched her fist, "You only cared about your feelings, not Mo-kun''s" Maki said nothing, she stood still as a statue, "You have no idea, how much you made him suffer" Reiko seemed like she was about to cry.


    "Yet, you come in here, like you don''t even realize what you did him, and what seeing you must be doing to him" Mokichi shuddered his heart pounded in his chest, "Reiko.." "You have no idea" Maki said lowly, "What?" Reiko had a confused look on her face trying to make out what Maki had said "You have no idea what I went through" Maki looked at Reiko "After being rejected by the one I loved" Maki looked at Mokichi who''s face made a hurt expression. Reiko saw, she became furious, she got out from the booth, she walked over to Maki and quick as a whip she slapped Maki across the face.


    The echoing thunk of her slap made silence fill the restaurant, patrons were beginning to turn and look, "Reiko!" her sisters and Mokichi shouted, Reiko was fuming, her hand stung from having slapped Maki so hard, Maki herself had a dejected look on her face. She felt her cheek as it burned in pain, she looked at Reiko who was glaring at her, "Don''t you dare give me that crap" she grumbled angrily "Mokichi suffered more than you did" "Your so dense" she huffed "Mokichi loved each one of you so much, that he couldn''t bare to choose one and hurt the others" Reiko shook with rage "And yet here you are, saying you were hurt by his decision that wouldn''t hurt you" Maki''s eyes widened. "You have no idea what you four did to Mokichi after what you did" Reiko bit her lip "So, don''t go saying you suffered more, or I swear I''ll slap you again, and I won''t hold anything back" Maki just stared at Reiko.


    "She cares that much for him" she said to herself, she then saw the looks on the other sisters faces, "Th..They do as well" she looked at all four of the sisters again, "You''ve found some girls that really care a lot for you, huh, Mokichi" Maki said somberly Mokichi smiled "Yeah, guess I do". Maki sighed "I''m sorry!" she shouted and bowed to Mokichi and the four sisters "What?" the said at the same time "I''m sorry!!" she shouted again, she then began to sniffle, "I''m very sorry.." Maki kept her head bowed, she kept repeating ''I''m sorry'' over and over again "Maki-chan.." Mokichi said lowly to himself. [Ch. 11 END]

 Chapter 12- Apology

    After the whole scence with Maki and Reiko the others decided it was a good idea to leave the resturant, at that time Maki said that she had something she wanted to talk with them about Reiko was against it of course but, Mokichi made her change her mind then Saeko guided them to a park and they were now seated at a picnic table Mokichi sat oppisite Maki with the four sisters sitting beside him. Mokichi broke the silence "So, Maki, what did you was to talk about?" Maki looked up at him and she sighed "Well,I realized, a few weeks after we had gone out seperate ways.." she frowned "I understood why you made the decision you did" Reiko grumbled a bit "If you knew then why did you treat him like you did?" Maki looked at Reiko with a sad look on her face. "I guess...I felt that me of all people, is who Mokichi would want to see, after what I did" Reiko''s face grew angry "What you did?" Maki nodded.


    "Yes, after Mokichi made his choice, I walked away instead of understanding" Maki looked at Mokichi, "I should have know that''s why you said that" Maki looked down "But, I was too hurt to try..." Reiko slammed her fist into the table "You still should have tried!" Reiko shouted "I''m sorry.." Maki apologized for what seemed like the fiftenth time Reiko growled in annoyance "Don''t apologize to me, it''s Mokichi who diserves the apology". Maki looked up, she made a half smile, "Your right" Maki looked Mokichi directly in the eyes, "Mokichi, I''m sorry about what I did, what we did" Maki had heard about what was going on with Mokichi after what happned on the middle school rooftop. It was around that time she understood why Mokichi had made his dicision what it was she had tried to get that idea over to Sami, Miyu, and Mari but, they didn''t want to hear a word of it, as they had figured that out as well, they like her felt like they were the last people that should talk to Mokichi, and they were still hurt by his decision.


    Then, when the news that Mokichi was moving came,the four of them started to drift aprat, as it was Mokichi that brought them all together, "You should be sorry" Reiko commented Maki looked up at her, "After what he told us what he went throught" Reiko fought back tears. She hated the thought of Mokichi being so hurt, Maki smiled "I''m glad" Reiko raised an eyebrow "About what?" Maki looked at each of the sisters, "I''m glad Mokichi found girls better then us" Maki''s words stund Mokichi in his heart "Maki.." he was cut off as Maki shook her head, "It''s true Mokichi, we were horrible to you". Maki frowned "We left you all alone, knowing you were suffering, yet we only cared about our own feelings" "Maki.." Mokichi said lowly "We didn''t deserve to have feelings for you to begin with" Mokichi was the one who looked down this time, Maki looked up and once again she looked at the Nakashima sisters, she smiled "I want you guys to take care of him".


    The sisters exchanged looks, they looked back at Maki and nodded in unison "And.." Maki paused "Please, don''t make the same mistake that we, I, did" Reiko chuckled "Don''t you worry about that" she placed a hand on Mokichi''s shoulders "We''ll make sure that he doesn''t go through somehting like that again". Maki looked at Reiko and smiled, seeing her own self reflected in her, "So, that''s what I should have done" Maki said lowly "What?" Maki shook her head "Nothing" this time Mokichi spoke up, "Maki" she looked at him "What?" Mokichi took in a breath. "When you get back home, tell the others something for me" Maki had a confused look on her face "Tell them what?" Mokichi smiled "Tell them, not to feel guilty for what they did to me" Maki felt her heart thump in her chest, still even after what she went through, she still had feelings for Mokichi.


    She smiled to herself, "Okay, I''ll tell them, it might be hard but, I''ll get you message across" Mokichi smiled "Thanks" Maki nodded, "He still knows us pretty well" she said in her head, she took a good look at Mokichi sitting with the Nakashima sisters she couldn''t help but imagine that''s what she and the others could have had. It was at that moment that Maki felt it would be a good time to head back home, "I think it''s time I head home" she go up from the table "Really, but, didn''t you just get here?" Euiko asked Maki nodded "Yeah, I feel that I should" she smiled but, she was hiding her true feelings in truth she was jelous. "Seeya, Mokichi" she waved a goodbye, "Alright, seeya" he waved back Maki then walked away from the table towards the park exit, as soon as she had left the four sisters had started to talk back and forth with Mokichi, each one had a face of concern Mokichi was smiling and talking back to them. Maki turned after she was a bit aways, she watched the five of them talk and laugh for a bit, she smiled to herself "I''m glad you happy Mokichi" she then turned and walked out of the park.

    Later on, after the whole situation with Maki had ended, the five of them had stayed and the prak for a good while when the sun started to go down they decided it was time to leave and to get home, they walked down the road together side by side. "I can''t believe we left without even eating" Euiko groaned as she held her stomach, they had canceled their orders and left with Maki to get out of the viewing eye, Euiko glared at Reiko "Why couldn''t you keep quiet?" Reiko huffed "She hurt Mo-kun, I wasn''t going to stay quiet" Euiko sighed. Mokichi smiled "I''m really happy for what you did Reiko" he looked at her "Re..Really?" she blushed Mokichi nodded "It made me happy to know you cared so much about me" Reiko turned a darker red. "Your welcome" she started twidling her fingers flustered "And I know all of you were thinking the same thing" Mokichi looked at each of the other sisters.


    He smiled at them, the rest of them fallowed Reiko and turned red, "D..Don''t mention it" Euiko said, "Yes, think nothing of it" Saeko added, "We, just, really care about Momo" Koharu added as well, Mokich smiled brighter "Thank you all" at that moement Euiko''s stomach growled, "I gotta get something to eat" she grumbled Koharu giggled "Come on, I''ll make something at home" Euiko smiled "Yes! We get Koharu''s cooking today!" Saeko grumbled "But, I was going to make dinner tonight!" Euiko laughed nervously "Well, not to sound rude Saeko-nee but, Koharu''s a better cook then you" Saeko growled "What''s wrong with my cooking!?" "You could stand to learn how to season properly" Saeko gritted her teeth. "So, you don''t like the way I make food?" Euiko jumped "Uhm, well, seeya at home!" she the ran off, "Get back here!" Saeko shouted as she chased after Euiko "Ah! neechan! neesan! Wait up!" Koharu called as she ran after them.


    Mokichi laughed, only he and Reiko were walking together, Reiko noticed, she then got really close to him Mokichi noticed Reiko''s sudden closeness and he blushed as he felt her arm bump into his, his heart was beating like crazy, after seeing Reiko do what she did for him his feelings for her had changed. He looked at her, and in that split second she look at him, they locked eyes, "Th..Thanks for today" Reiko blushed "You already thanked me" Mokichi shook his head "No, I''m really grateful for what you did". "It made me really happy to hear what you said" Reiko fidgeted and looked at Mokichi "Well, I really care about you.." Reiko smiled "I..I don''t want to ever see you hurt" Mokichi''s heart pounded harder "Reiko.." he stared at Reiko''s smiling face as they walked together, he couldn''t help but stare into her eyes. Remebering what she did, hearing the heartfullness behind her words, paired with how much she cared for him, made his heart rate increase that caused him to spontaniously, grab Reiko and hug her tight, which caused them to stop in place.


    Reiko''s face went crimson red, her heart pounded by the second in her chest as Mokichi held her, "Mo-kun" her body began to get hot, having him so close to her, their bodies so close to each other, the atmosphere between them started to change, they looked eyes with one another, they had the same feelings, both of them wanted to kiss the other. Their faces started to get closer, but, before their lips could even get close to meet one another Saeko called out "Reiko!" this snapped both of them back to reality, Reiko looked at her sister who was looking over at them,waiting for her. She looked at Mokichi who smiled, "Go" Reiko hesitated she wanted to stay where she was, but, with the smiled that Mokichi had she nodded, "Okay, seeya" she waved Mokichi let her go, "Yeah, seeya Reiko" he waved Reiko then ran to catch up to Saeko. Mokichi stood and watched as the two of them walked off, he saw Reiko look back at him her face still red, she quickly turned back.


    Mokichi smiled and laughed to himself, "Well, guess I better get home as well" he then proceeded to make his way home thoughts of what had happened in the day swam in his head, "Who would of thought I''d see Maki-chan here of all places" his face grew dark but, when he remebered Reiko, and Saeko, and Euiko,and Koharu, his face brightned up, he no longer was going to let what happened in the past get to him, he had four girls that really cared for him. He couldn''t wait to make either one of them his girlfriend. [Ch. 12 END]

 Chapter Extra- Return Home

    It felt like a really long ride home on the train for Maki, she still couldn''t get over the fact that she met Mokichi after such a long time "He,really looked good" Maki thought to herself about how Mokichi use to look, he was short, his hair was short as well but, the Mokichi she had seen today had gotten taller and his hair had grown out. Maki had barely recognized him when he stood up from the booth but, even though he had changed she could tell it was him, she was his childhood friend for nothing. All the while she sat in her seat Mokichi''s message repeated itself in her head "Tell the others not to feel guillty for what they did" she repeated the message for the fifth time since she heard it, Maki smiled "I still can''t believe he still cares for us after what we did" Maki''s heart twinged remebering what had happened, she was standing onto the roof of the middle school alonside Sami, Miyu, and Mari awaiting Mokichi''s decision.


    She was hoping that she would be chosen, but when Mokichi outright said he wasn''t choosing any of them her heart dropped, she was angry, so angry she didn''t even bother to stick around nor did she even listen to his reasoning she, ust like the others just walked away and left Mokichi by himself. Her hands tightened around the fabric of her skirt, "Why did I do something like that?" she had wondered that each and every day after Mokichi had moved, "Why did I have to be so cruel" Maki looked up at the ceiling "Why?" just then the image of the four Nakashima sisters appeared in her head, their smiling faces as they talked with Mokichi, Maki gave a weak and sad smile "I wish, I was one of them". Maki still had feelings for Mokichi, she wanted him still even though he had rejected her so long ago she wanted him to be hers, but Maki felt that it would be wrong of her to want to be with him, after what she did.


    Soon, the train came to a stop, Maki knew she was back home she got out of her seat and got off the train she exited the station and began walking down the street she then pulled out her cellphone, she scrolled through her contacts until she came to a familliar name, it read ''Miyu-chan'', she pressed the call button, she then put the phone to her ear, it rang for a bit until her call was picked up "Hello?" came Miyu''s voice "Hey Miyu" a gasp came through the phone speaker "Maki-san!" the sound of flustered movement could be heard. "Hey, it''s been a long time!" came Miyu''s half excited voice Maki smiled "A really long time" Miyu chuckled "It''s nice to hear your voice again" Maki giggled back "And your as well" the sound of Miyu situating herself could be heard, "So,why the sudden call?" Miyu chuckled "You miss me that much already?" Maki laughed "You could say that" Maki went silent.


    "Maki-san?" Miyu called after hearing Maki go quiet, "Miyu, I met him" silence came from Miyu''s end "You mean him, right" came Miyu''s sad voice "Yeah,I met him in Rokujo, a town I traveled to today" a sigh came from Miyu "H..How is he doing?" Maki smiled, she was releaved to know Miyu still cared for Mokichi, "He''s fine, he''s happy" a sigh came from Miyu again "That''s good, I.." Miyu paused, "I feel so bad for how I acted" Maki frowned "As am I" silence fell between the two. "So, how did he look?" came Miyu''s voice Maki smirked "He''s gotten even more handsome" she heard Miyu go quiet, she didn''t have to be there to know that Miyu was blushing, "Re..Really?" came Miyu''s mumblings "Yeah, I was a bit caught off gaurd when I saw him" Maki laughed "But, he still the same Mokichi". A sigh of relief came from Miyu "That''s good, it''s great he''s still the same, I couldn''t live with myself if we made him change" Maki felt her heart twist "Me and you both" Maki had been releived when she saw that after what they had done Mokichi was still the same as he ever was.


    Maki then remebered why he was still the same, the Nakashima sisters came to her mind, she felt she had to let Miyu know, "Miyu, he''s met someone else" again silence came from Miyu "By someone else you mean?" Maki smiled "Yeah, another girl, four in fact" a small chuckled came from Miyu "I see" a long groan came from he as well "Is that the reasons he''s doing well?" Maki cave a affimative ''Mhmhm'', Miyu chuckled again, "That''s good" Maki smiled to herself "These girls really care for him, one of them even slapped me" Maki touched her cheek with her free hand where Reiko had slapped her. It still stung, the red mark had vansished but she could still feel the stinging of the slap on her cheek, "Ouch" came Miyu''s response Maki laughed, "Tell me about it" Miyu laughed "Sounds like they really care alot for him if one of them did that" Maki giggled "Your right, they all really care for him, unlike us". Silence came again, that is when Maki remebered Mokichi''s message "I''ve got something to tell you" Miyu groaned "What? Did he have something to say?" Maki smiled as she remebered his words, and then she said them aloud.


    "He said, for us not to feel guilty for what we did" Miyu gasped, a laugh came from Miyu''s end, then it suddenly sounded like it was developing into crying, "That idiot.." Maki smiled "He still cares about us even after what we did" Miyu sniffled "Thats just like him.." Maki agreed with that notion. "That really makes me want him again.." Maki agreed with that as well "But.." came Miyu''s somber voice "I don''t think we deserve to have a chance at him again" Maki also agreed with that. After that exchange, silence came again until Miyu spoke "It was nice hearing from you again" Maki smiled "it was nice talking with you again" Miyu laughed "Call me more often" Maki chuckled "You got it" Maki knew that Miyu was smiling on the other end. "Bye" Miyu said "Goodbye" Maki answered she then heard the dial tone, she took her phone away from her ear and ended the call she put her phone away after, she felt nistolgic from talking with Miyu for such a short time "So, she still feels that way for him too" Maki said to herself as she continued down the road.


    With the conversation with Miyu still fresh in her mind Maki decided to take a detour, she turned a corner and headed for a place that held alot of memories for her after walking a few miles she came to it, Kurogage Middle School, she stood outside the enterance to the middle school. She smiled as she looked around it''s campus, she could see shadows of the time where she, Sami, Miyu, and Mari went to it, along with Mokichi, she smiled remebering the times they shared inside the walls of the school as she stood there she saw someone apprach her. "Hey" came a famillair voice, Maki turned her head and smiled, "Hello to you too" a girl stepped closer towards her she had long black hair, and she was tall for a female, she was wearing a black track suit and she was sweating profusely.


    "Sami-chan" Maki smiled, Sami smiled back, "Hey Maki" Sami wiped the sweat from her forehead Maki smiled "Practicing?" Mai asked Sami nodded "Yep, we have a track meet in a few weeks so, I want to be in shape" Sami streched "I see" Maki chuckled Sami was the same as ever "So, what have you been up to?" Sami was red in the face, she was a bit nervous talking with Maki again after so long Maki smiled "Well, I just went to Rokujo for today" Sami smiled "I see, what was it like?" Maki sighed "I didn''t really stay long to do anything" Sami raised an eyebrow "Really? Did something happen?". Maki chuckled "You could say that" she looked Sami in the eyes, "I..I met him" Sami made a shocked gasp and Maki could see her eyes widen Sami knew who Maki was talking about, Sami made a face that was mixed with anger and a bit of concern, "I see.." Sami went silent she then began tapping her foot on the ground, Maki smiled that was Sami nervous tick, she''d do that when she was thinking hard about something.


    "You want to know how he''s doing?" Sami jumped at Maki''s question and became flustered "Not, really why would I care about a man that rejected me" Sami turned her face away Maki chukled to herself she knew Sami didn''t really mean that, without seeing her face she could tell that Sami was very curious about how Mokichi was. Maki decided to just tell her anyway "He''s doing fine" Sami''s body shuddered "He''s still the same Mokichi we knew" Sami stood still Maki heard a sigh of relief come from her "I see, so he''s doing alright" Maki could tell Sami was smiling. "So, you stil care for him as well" Sami shuddered again Maki could tell she was blushing, "So, you, me,and Miyu, still have feelings for him" Sami turned "You talked with Miyu?" Maki nodded "Yeah, I called her after I left the train station".

Sami had a concered look on her face "She''s fine" Sami sighed in relief, "That''s good" Maki was happy even though the four of them had split apart, they each still cared for one another, Maki decided to tell Sami what she told Miyu before, "Mokichi, he''s met some girls" Sami''s body jolted "He has.." Sami looked away "Yep, these girls, they really care alot for him, they''re the ones that made him happy" Sami said nothing. "They''re not like us, they won''t abandon Mokichi" Sami opened her mouth "I see, thats good" Maki could see a smile curl on Sami''s face, "Mokichi also had a message for all of us" Sami looked at Maki, "And that would be?" Sami had a curious look in her eyes "He said, not to feel guilty for what we did" Sami''s face went red, "That asshole.." she mumbled. Maki could see a few tears roll down Sami''s cheek, "After what we did.." Sami mumbled again, "He should hate us.." she sniffled, "Yet he.." Sami wiped her eyes, Maki chuckled "He still cares for us even thought we treated him so badly" Maki felt her heart twinge in pain as did Sami.


    She remebered that whenever she saw Mokichi after that day on the rooftop that she would ignore him any time he would try to talk to her, she even told him that they weren''t friends, something she regreted immensley, when she heard that he was moving, she had felt like maybe her words were the cause that he left. So, to occupy her mind with something else she joined the track team, she kept her mind on track, but every now and then thoughts of him would sneak up on her and then she would take a run to push it out. But now, hearing that he still cared for her after what she did, what she had said, her heart twisted and beat hard in her chest, she knew without a doubt, that she still loved him. And it seemed that feeling hadn''t left her, and it had just gotten stronger, but like Maki and Miyu, she figured that she was undiserving of having such a feeling, but she couldn''t help but want to be with him, have him with her.


    Sami couldn''t take it, "Uhm..I''m gonna go.." Sami turned "I''ve gotta get in shape" Maki chukled and smiled "I see, seeya Sami-chan" Maki waved Sami didn''t turn but she nodded and she started running off "It was good talking with you again!" Maki called Sami smiled to herself and ran off in silence. Maki took one last look at the middle school, she giggled and started off again she eventually made her way into town she walked down the side walks with her mind on her meeting up with Sami "She looks really good" Maki said to herself she remebred back in the day that Sami was very beautiful and it seemed with the time they spent apart she had gotten even more beautiful. She was so inthroled with her toughts that she wasn''t watching out in front of her and she bumped into someone, the impact made her come back to reality she stumbled back but she kept her balance.


    "Sorry!" came another famillair voice, "It can''t be" Maki looked and sure enough, she smiled, "Well,if it isn''t Mari-chan" the girl she had bumped into looked at her and her eyes sparkled "Maki-chan!" Mari lept and hugged Maki "It''s good to see you again!" Mari pulled herself away from Maki who couldn''t belive that the Mari in front of her was the Mari she knew. The old Mari would never have done something like that as the old Mari was to shy to even talk to anybody, but after being with her, Sami, and Miyu, as well as Mokichi had helped her to change into the person that was in front of her "Hey Mari" Maki giggled soon, Maki and Mari were walking down the sidewalk side by side "So, what have you been up to Maki-chan?" Mari asked "Well, I''ve been doing really well, and you?" Mari smiled "I''ve been doing fine!" Maki laughed "I can tell, I''ve seen you around town with your friends" Mari giggled and blushed.


    "You''ve really changed Mari-chan" Maki beamed Mari looked at Maki and gave a smile "It''s all thanks to you, Sami-san, and Miyu-chan, and.." Mari paused, Maki knew whos name she stopped on "Mokichi-kun" Mari frowned and she nodded Maki frowned as well, then she smiled "I met him you know" this got Mari''s attention, "Y..You did?" Maki nodded, "Where?" "I met him in Rokujo" Mari nodded, "How..how is he?" Mari had a concerned look on her face. Maki smiled "He''s doing great" Mari smiled "That''s good to know" Maki looked to the sky "And he''s just the same as always" Mari sighed in relief "Mokichi.." she said lowly "You know, I talked with Miyu earlier" Mari jumped, "Really, how is Miyu-chan?" Maki chuckled "She''s doing fine" Mari smiled widely "That''s good to hear" Maki smiled as well "I met Sami-chan as well" Mari gasped "You saw Sami-san too!" Maki nodded.


    "How is she?" Maki chuckled "She''s fine as well" Mari giggled to herself, "It''s good to hear that they''re doing well" Mari looked at Maki "And it was good to see you again Maki-chan" Mari giggled again "and to hear about Mokichi-kun" Mari blushed, "You still care for him don''t you?" Maki asked Mari nodded, Maki giggled "So you just like us too". "You three still care for Mokichi?" Mari asked Maki nodded "I see, so I''m not the only one" Mari smiled to herself "But, we no longer can have him for what we did him" Mari said to herself Maki could sense the concern coming from Mari, "Don''t worry, he''s got some girls that really care for him back in Rokujo" Mari looked at Maki "Really?" Maki gave a nod. Mari sighed, "That''s good" Mari smiled to herself "At least there''s somebody there that will take better care of him then us" Maki said nothing, she was surprised to hear that Mari felt the same as she,Sami, and Miyu felt, that they had no right to have feelings for Mokici at all but, the nagging of her mind and heart, saying that she still wanted him.


    "Mokichi had a message for all of us" Maki said, Mari looked at her and Maki looked at her "He said not to feel guilty, even for what we did to him" Mari grabbed her chest, "I know, I felt the same thing when he told me himself" Maki remebered the feeling she had in her heart when Mokichi had said that line. "I can''t believe that he still thinks about us when we.." Mari paused, "I know, me and the others can''t believe it as well" Mari sighed "Makes me wish we hadn''t been so cruel" Maki nodded "I wish we could go back to our past selves, and give them a slap" Mari said. "Mari-chan.." Maki smiled "And tell them not to hurt Mokichi so badly" Mari''s eyes watered, Maki hugged Mari "I wish we could" she commented. Mari sniffled, "I really wish that he was still here, still with us.." Maki herself then began to cry "Why did we have to be such assholes" the two girls walked down the street together both of the sniffling as the cried, their feelings for the boy called Mokichi had gotten stronger.


    Maki looked up at the clouds, "I want to be with him again" she sniffled "I want to laugh with him again.." Mari agreed with a nod "But, what''s been done in the past can''t be changed, we gave up on him" Maki took in a breath "We, can''t have him, that would be wrong of us" Mari agreed with another nod. The two of them walked together like that for a while, until the came to a turn in the path. Maki and Mari stopped crying, the wiped their tears away and the seperated, "It was good to see you again Maki-chan" Mari smiled "And It was good to see you again" Maki smiled "As well as seeing Sami-chan, and talking with Miyu-chan again" Mari chuckled "We should get together again for old time sakes". Maki nodded, "Yeah, we should" Mari smiled "If you see me around town, feel free to come and talk with me again" Maki nodded "Sure" Mari giggled "Bye" she waved Maki smiled back and waved "Bye" and she watched as Mari ran off.


    Maki sighed to herself, "Was this a work of fate?" Maki wondered it had started with her meeting Mokichi again, then immediatley after she called Miyu, then she met with Sami, and after she parted ways with Sami she met up with Mari, Maki smiled to herself "It was good to see them all again" Maki had taken it hard when the five of them had gone the seperate ways she felt like she had lost all her friends she had ever made. But now she was as happy as could be "Maybe..." she paused "Maybe, I should visit Rokujo again sometime" Maki giggled to herself as she made her way home. [Extra Ch END]

 Chapter 13-Doubting Her Feelings-Part 1

    Saeko sat on her bed in her room, it had been a few days since the meeting with Maki, one of the girls from Mokichi''s first harem, the one that hurt him, but what had happened wasn''t what was on her mind, what was one her mind was what happened after while they were going home. Saeko remebered it clearly, she had chased after Euiko after her comment about her cooking being terrible with Koharu chasing right behind them, Saeko noticed that Reiko wasn''t with them so she stopped herself and told Euiko and Koharu to wait for her. She then ran back in the opposite direction as she neared where Reiko and Mokichi had stopped she raised her arm and was about to wave and call Reiko over thats when she saw Moikichi grab Reiko in a tight hug, Saeko had stopped dry when she saw this, she stood and watched as Reiko and Mokichi embraced each other.


    Saeko could see Mokichi''s lips moving, but she couldn''t tell what he was saying then when they seperated, she looked at their faces, and she could tell, the two of them were mesmerized with one another Saeko''s heart started to pound in her chest, then when she saw the two of them start to inch their faces closer to each other, she yelled out Reiko''s name without a second thought. Reiko looked her way and seperated from Mokichi, she waved goodbye and ran to Saeko, Reiko apologized for staying behind Saeko nodded and said nothing else she then began to walk back the way she came Reiko fallowed behind her out of the corner of her eye Saeko saw Reiko look back towards Mokichi with dreamy eyes.And now here she was, sitting on her bed deep in thought, thinking about her feelings for Mokichi.


    Saeko knew that Reiko undoubtedly loved Mokichi after what she saw happen between the two of them days before, and she knew that Euiko and Koharu both had loving feelings for him as well but, she couldn''t tell where her feelings were coming from, was it love, or was it respect? Saeko had started having an intrest in Mokichi after she saw how worried he was for Ruri, his younger sister, and when she had revealed how hurt she had been when Mokichi''s first harem ended badly, the look on his face, it made Saeko''s heart throb. But now, after so long she''s finally questioning her feelings Saeko sighed and fell back on her bed, "What do I feel?" Saeko asked herself for the fifth time, "Are these feelings the sames as theirs?" she though about her younger sisters, about how each of them had feelings for Mokichi "Or.." she paused "Is it totally different?". Saeko started at her ceiling, she had to figure out what her feelings were, was it actual love, or was it respect?

"Hello?Saeko-san?" Saeko smiled to herself "Hello Mochin" "Is there something you wanted?" Saeko giggled to herself "You could say that" she heard a quizitive moan come from Mokichi, "What is it that you need?" Saeko went silent "Saeko-san?" Saeko sighed "Mochin, I want to meet up with you" she heard a small gasp come from Mokichi.


    "Su-Sure, What for?" Saeko laughed to herself "I want to talk with you about something" she heard another questioning moan come from Mokichi "What for?" Saeko thought for a bit, "There''s something I want to confirm" "Confirm? Confirm what?" Saeko giggled "Just something, so what do you say?" Mokichi took a bit to answer back.


    "Yeah, sure" came his answer Saeko sat up on her bed, "Good" "So, where do you want to meet?" Saeko took some time to think, then she smiled "Let''s meet up at that park I showed you a few days ago" "You mean the one that you said you always go to?" "Yes" Mokichi gave an affrimative ''Hm'' "Alright, I''ll see you there" Saeko smiled to herself "Alright, see you then" "Alright" and with that Mokichi''s voice cut off as he hung up, Saeko put her phone away and got off her bed she took in a breath "Guess its time I figure out what ''this'' is" she then headed out her room, to meet up with Mokichi and to discover weather of not, that she was in love with him like her sisters or if all the feelings she had were just her misinterpreting respect for Mokichi.  Chapter 14-Doubting Her Fellings-Part 2

    Saeko sat at the picnic table constantly she would look down at her watch, sigh and looked back up "He''s really taking his time" she mumbled she twiddled her fingers for a bit, she was still coming to terms with what she was about to tell Mokichi "This will be the first time I tell anyone about this" she then paused "All be it to a boy" she mumbled red spread across her face she twiddled her fingers a bit faster, she even started to tap her foot repeaetedly. She groaned as she looked back down at her watch and then back up waiting to see any sign of Mokichi she then began to remeber that the park she was sitting in was where the five of them had gone with Maki, she remebered the look on Mokichi''s face which was one of relief.


    Saeko smiled to herself "He seemed releaved to see she was doing okay" Saeko knew Mokichi cared alot about others but, after seeing him that day, seeing how he was more concerned for the girls he had hurt rather then himself, Saeko placed a hand on her chest that''s why she was here. She wanted to figure out her feelings, she looked down at the ground "I hope.." she paused "I come to the right conclusion" her face had a somber look to it, she had been agonizing over this fact ever since that day she had seen Reiko and Mokichi together after the meeting with Maki she neeeded to know, were her feeling those of love, or just misinterpreted respect, as she looked down at her feet deep in thought she heard someone call her name.


    Saeko looked up and she smiled as she saw Mokichi walking towards her with a smile and a raised hand, she stood up from the picnic table "Thanks for coming" she smiled at him Mokichi stopped at the picnic table "Don''t worry about it" he smiled back "So, what is it you wanted to talk about?" Saeko put on a serious face, "Well, it''s more like something I have to tell you" Mokichi raised an eyebrow "Tell me what?" Saeko twiddled her fingers in nervousness "Just, sit down for now" she jestered to the open seat of the picnic table "Okay" Mokichi then took a seat after he was seated Saeko sat back down. "Okay, what is it you want to tell me?" he asked "Well, let''s not get right to that, I want to tell you something else first" Mokichi gave a puzzled look "And that would be?" Saeko took in a breath "Well, the past of the Nakashima family" Mokichi felt a coolness go up his spine at Saeko''s words he said nothing, but he nodded Saeko nodded back and she gathered her courage "Well, to start" Saeko placed her hands in her lap "We use to have a mother" a sad look crossed Saeko''s face as she said this.


    "I''m sorry" she heard Mokichi say, she smiled at him "Thanks" she then continued "Our mother was a good women, she cared alot for me and my sisters and my dad" Saeko paused it was hard talking about it for sure,but she had to so she continued on "She was beautiful, she was strong and kind, and.." Saeko felt her eyes water up "Saeko, you don''t need to tell me something like this if it''s too hard for you" she looked at Mokichi he had a concerned look on his face, Saeko smiled she shook her head and wipped her eyes "No, I resolved myself to do this" Mokichi still with a concerned look nodded his head and allowed Saeko to cotninue. "She was a great mother, but then, she started to get weak" a frown scrowled itself on Saeko''s face "She started to pass out randomly, she started having less energy, it was like her life was draining away" Saeko felt her heart twist, she took in a deep breath and placed her hands ontop the picnic table "The doctors said it was a heriditarey sickness, and they said that she wouldn''t.." Saeko went silent "Live for much longer" Saeko''s body shuddered.


    She then went silent, she wanted to continue but, her mouth wouldn''t open her heart was in agony, just talking about it after so long got her like this, suddenly, she felt a warmness come over her right hand she looked, and saw Mokichi''s hand ontop of hers she looked at him and he had a bright smile on his face Saeko smiled "Thank you" Mokichi shook his head "Not at all" Saeko took another breath as she decided to continue. "After that, we decided to spend as much time with her as we possible could" Saeko started to remember all what she and her sisters and father did with her mother, she smiled to herself "We did so much with her, then.." Saeko''s face grew dark "She passed away.." Saeko felt Mokichi squeeze her right hand her face brightened a bit "Me, Dad, Euiko, Reiko, and Koharu took it pretty hard". "During the time my mother was still alive, I didn''t act like I do now" something clicked in Mokichi''s head "You told me that before haven''t you?" Saeko nodded "Yes, I didn''t study, I acted out, I didn''t try to be a good example for my sisters" Saeko took in a breath.


    "Then,when my mother passed away, my sisters soon turned to me" Saeko smiled "I decided to make better of myself, to acutally be a responible older sister" Saeko paused, then she continued "I started studying, I started behaving, I started acting like an older sibling should" Saeko continued "Then, I decided to move out" Mokichi had a puzzled look on his face Saeko giggled "You thought I lived at home?" Mokichi gave a silent nod "Well, I use to, I decided to not burden my dad, raising four almost teenage girls is really hard for a single parent". "So, I got a job, I saved some money, and I got my own place" Saeko giggled "My sisters tried to stop me from leaving, but my dad didn''t" Saeko gave a half smile "I think he could tell why I was doing it" she then gave a full smiled "When I was leaving, my dad hugged me really tight, and he told me, that I was just like my mother". Saeko''s eyes watered "That I was a caring soul like she was" Saeko laughed "When I got to my place, the first thing I did, was fall to the bare floor and cry" Saeko sniffled.

Saeko stopped him, "Let me continue, as I said, my feelings about you changed" Saeko took in a breath. "I felt like, it was love" she gave a smile "But, after, after I saw you and Reiko.." Mokichi blushed hard he knew what Saeko ment by that as well "You,you saw that?" he scrathed the back of his head with his free hand, Saeko nodded "Thats when, I started thinking about my feelings" Mokichi lowered his other arm and looked Saeko in the face.


    "I see" he mumbled "I want to believe that what I feel for you is love, but, I''m not sure though" Saeko frowned "I believe that maybe I respect you, and misinterpreted it as love.." Saeko looked down at the ground "I don''t know what my feelings are, do I love you?, or do I just respect you alot?" Saeko looked up "Do I respect you for caring for your little sister, and how you care so much for others" tears started to well up in Saeko''s eyes "Or do I love you, I just don''t know what my feeling for you are" Saeko held back her tears. "I can tell my younger sisters all love you, I can see it from how they act around you, espcially Reiko,but me, I have no idea" Saeko went silent as she sniffled holding back her tears as best she could. "That''s what I wanted to tell you, that I don''t know what my own feelings are" Saeko looked at Mokichi "I could undersand if your hurt, but please, don''t let that ruin what we have".


    Saeko heard a laugh come from Mokichi, "Mochin?" Saeko had a puzzled look on her face "Is that all?" Saeko''s body shook Mokichi smiled "Saeko-san, let me ask you, does your heart beat when I do this?" Saeko was about to ask what Mokichi meant but before she could he had already leaned in close and had kissed her on the lips, Saeko blushed hard, and then she felt it, her heart started to pound inside her chest, her body started to get how the longer Mokichi''s and her lips stayed locked. Saeko felt like the world around her was melting, she didn''t want what was happening to end, but as she thought that, she felt Mokichi''s lips leave hers, he was now smiling back at her, "Well?" Saeko raised her free hand to her lips her eyes shimmered "Did your heart pound?" Saeko nodded as her heart was still beating in her chest like crazy Mokichi smiled "Then, your in love with me" Saeko felt tears fall down her cheeks "Ah! Saeko-san! Why are you crying!?" Mokichi panicked.


    Saeko giggled, "Sorry, I''m just so happy" Saeko wiped her eyes "About what?" Mokichi smiled "That I finally know what my feelings for you are" Saeko looked at Mokichi with a bright smile on her face "I love you, Mochin" red quickly spred across Mokichi''s face "And thank you" Saeko then rose up from her seat, leaned towards Mokichi and she kissed him on the lips she pulled herself back after a few seconds and giggled "That''s for what you did for me" Mokichi smiled "Thanks" Saeko smiled and giggled "Your very welcome". "Is there anything else you wanted to tell me?" Saeko searched her thoughts "No, not really" Mokichi smiled "Then, do you want to go on a date with me?" Saeko blushed "R-Right now?" Mokichi nodded "Yeah, why not, it''s still early" Saeko didn''t hesitate "Alright" she nodded Mokichi gave a smirk "Alright then, shall we go, Saeko" Saeko''s face went red, and her heart started pounding like crazy she smiled "Okay, Mokichi" it was Mokichi''s turn to get red in the face and for his heart to beat hard in his chest.


    Mokichi got up from his seat, and took Saeko''s right hand in his, "Sh-Shall we get going?" he smiled Saeko nodded "Yes lets" Mokichi then helped Saeko up from the picnic table and the two of them started for the enterance to the park as they walked over to it Saeko looked over at Mokichi, she giggled to herself, "So, I love him.." she then linked her arm with Mokichi''s and rested her head on his shoulder she could hear his heart beating hard in his chest as well as her own.  Chapter 15- What About Their Lips?

    Mokichi layed flat on his bed, he had his hand on his lips and he was red in the face, he was reminsing about his time with Saeko, the date they went on was amazing, they went to a reasturant to eat then, they went to a clothing store he watched Saeko try on many different outifits which made her look incredibally beautiful Saeko looked great in her school unifrom and casual clothes but seeing her in formal wear, and even a very sexy black dress, those made her look even more beatuiful then normal. It peeved him off a bit when some other guys in the store would glance at her, he felt like he was the only one who should be allowed to see Saeko looking so beautiful after Saeko had tried on several outifits and even bought a few they left then spent some time walking around town. The two of them talked with each other and walked down the sidewalk as Saeko had herself latched onto Mokichi''s arm his heart was pounding hard the whole time having Saeko''s soft body against his own got his heart going and even more so when he looked down at her and she had a smile on her face.


    He felt it was a crime that Saeko was so beautiful, he felt like he was lucky having such a girl love him, after they had walked several miles and for several minuets they decided to end their date and both of them went their seperate ways but, not before Saeko gave Mokichi a kiss on the cheek and waved goodbye with a huge smile on her face. Now, here he was laying flat on his bed in his room going over it all again for the third time, the highlight of the whole thing was when he kissed Saeko on the lips, he had surprised himself with that as well,he didn''t know what came over him he saw how concerned Saeko was about what her feelings were about him. And his body and mind responded for him, and before he knew it he had kissed her at first, he thought she would be mad about it but,when he saw the smile on her face and how happy she was so happy that she cried happy to finally realize what her feeling were for him.


    In turn, it made Mokichi smile, he was glad he was able to make Saeko so happy "But.." he mumbled "That was my first kiss" the kiss that he had with Saeko was the very fist one he had in his life, it even surprised Saeko when he told her this as well Saeko said she had thought that he had kissed one of the girls in his first harem he told her that none of the girls in his first harem were brave of bold enough to initiate a kiss. That had made Saeko get really red in the face, it also made her extremally happy, knowing that she was the first girl Mokichi ever kissed it also made Mokichi get hot in the face "My first kiss..." he mumbled "With Saeko..." he felt his lips with his finger Saeko''s image enetered his head all he could do was focus on her lips. His heart started beating in his chest, he closed his eyes and for a second he felt as though Saeko''s lips were on his again he stayed like that for a good minuet, then he opened his eyes he sighed dreamily "Man, they were really soft..".


    Mokichi knew that girls had really soft features, but to actually have felt a girls lips was another thing completly to him, the softness, the pillowiness,the smell of Saeko herself intoxicated him, thats what made him kiss her as long as he did he sighed once more "I wonder...will I be able to kiss her again?" after that thought he had another, he had kissed Saeko, but, will he ever kiss Koharu, Euiko, or Reiko. This thought stuck in his head, "I...I wonder what there lips will feel like" his mind then began to wonder, he knew what Saeko''s lips felt like, a feeling he wasn''t going to forget, but now he was curious, what did Kohaur, Euiko, and Reiko''s lips feel like "Will they be the same?" he grumbled the four of them were sisters but, that didn''t precisley mean their lips would be the same. Then another thought crawled through his head, how would he kiss them? He remebered his kiss with Saeko, it was sudden and it wasn''t long, how would a kiss with the other three be like Mokichi grumbled in thought


    He then decided to try something, his mental image of Saeko was replaced with Koharu, he smiled, he used what he knew currently about Koharu, Koharu was a shy and cute girl, she tried to flirt with him time and time again in the club room but, whenever he responded to her she''d shut down and be to scared to say anything else. He imagined it would take a little time for Koharu to courage up and kiss him, and he would just freak her out if he just outright asked if he could kiss her Mokichi groaned, it was going to take a while before he had a kiss with Koharu, he then thought about how it would be when she found the courage to do it, Koharu was a bit shorter then him,so he invisioned her going on tippy toes to be able to reach his lips. He also pictured himself arching down and kissing her, he laughed when he imagined that she''d go really red in the face and be flustered for a good while she would then wouldn''t be able to look at Mokichi for a while after or she''d risk getting flustred even more,and forget talking with him she wouldn''t even be able to talk after he would kiss her.


    Koharu''s image faded, and was replaced with Euiko, Euiko was a different story, Euiko was always flirting openly with Mokichi, she would grab him and rub her body against him which drove him crazy as Euiko''s body was much more developed then he thought, the way she dressed and how big her school uniform was on her hid that well Mokichi blushed just thinking about it. He shook his head, and refocused on his current thought train, like with Koharu, he used what he knew about Euiko, Euiko was a very pretty girl all around, she was just as good looking as Saeko was which he expected, as she was the second oldest, she tried really hard to flirt with him whenever she was around but,when he''d flirt back with her she''d crumble. She might be an open flirt, but when you flirted back she acted like a normal girl would, she would blush and get really flustered, Mokichi remebered how cute she looked when she got embarassed when she called her cute when she and him had a date at school.

    At first he was surprised, to know that a girl like Euiko could look so cute Mokichi chuckled, he thought about what would happen to her when he would kiss her, he knew that Euiko wouldn''t kiss him directly, as she would tease him with one every single time they met and everytime he was concvinced she was she''d stop halfway and say she was kidding while red in the face. Her face would go red, and when he''d move away she''d started mumbling like crazy and for the rest of the day she''d be in her own world Mokichi snickered.


    After Euiko, it was Reiko''s turn, an image of Reiko replaced Euiko, Mokichi smiled just looking at Reiko''s face made his heart start up, Reiko was cute like Koharu, and not to mention she was beautiful like Euiko and Saeko, those two things combined gave her alot of appeal to Mokichi. She had a warm smile, she was fun to be around, she made him feel good, she made him happy, she made his day all the more greater with her being in his class he had ample time with her and knew quiet alot about her. Reiko had the cutest laugh, she also had the most beautiful smile in the world which almost stopped his heart once, she treated everyone so kindly and cared a great deal for others, and she cared a great deal for him, everyday she seemed to want to know more about him and how he was. It was a great feeling to walk into class every morning and see her sitting in her seat which was right next to his waiting for him, when she''d see him walk in she''d blush and smile at him and wave which made his heart pound and made him smile.


    He''d then sit at his seat and the two would being to converse with each other Reiko wasn''t a flirt like Euiko, she didn''t try to flirt like Koharu, Reiko just did like she always did, maybe that''s why he was so hooked on her, she didn''t try anything with him she felt like just being there with him and talking with him was enough for her. Still, Reiko would form time to time get red in the face or embarassed when he told he she was beautiful or looked really cute, she even went red whenever they''d holed hands when they went on dates Mokichi believed that Reiko had to be the most innocent when it came to love and she wouldn''t be up for kissing him, or would she? It was then he remebered the day Maki had come to town, he rembered the two of them walking together after Saeko, Koharu,and Euiko had run off ahead he had thanked Reiko for what she had done and said which made her blush Mokichi had been so overwhelmed and happy for what Reiko had done that he hugged her.


    He remebred the feeling of Reiko''s heart beating aganist his body, as well as the beating of his own, feeling Reiko''s softness against him, looking down and seeing the dreamy look in her eyes, it made his heart go heywire he wanted to lean down and kiss her and his body responded on it''s own. Reiko seemed surprised at first, but then she seemed to want the same thing, she then started to strech up to him, he could feel that her heart had started to beat faster and faster as they started getting closer, but, before their lips met Saeko''s had called Reiko''s name which cut the flow they had. After that, nothing like that ever happened again. That got Mokichi thinking, to be able to kiss Reiko or, to have her kiss him he had to get that flow back, just thinking about him and Reiko kissing made his heart beat echo in his silent room and his face get hot and turn really red, why did kissing Reiko make him get like this, he pictured him and Reiko closing in for a kiss.


    The image made his mind overheat, it had been after that near kiss between the two of them that he''d gotten like this it made him wonder what would have happened if that kiss hadn''t been stopped, would he and Reiko be? Mokich shook his head and the image of Reiko was gone, even though it was gone his heart was still beating hard in his chest and his face was still hot and red. After he had calmed down, Mokichi had gone back to laying quietly on his bed he sighed "Man, this harem is really different from the other one" the harem from back in middle school was nothing compared to this one not once had he ever thought of something like that with the old one. He smiled "I wonder what else this harem has in store for me" with that on his mind Mokichi looked at the time on his alarm he saw it was really late at night he got up and turned his light off threw his shoes off and crawled back into his bed and went to sleep looking forward to what was going to happen the next day.  Chapter 16- Alone With Him

    Koharu shifted in her chair, she glanced up from her book in her hands and stared at Mokichi''s face, her face turned bright red "he''s so handsome" she quietly commented this is what a tipical day in the Literature Club went the other members had gone off to buy snacks and would be back whenever but, in the meantime Koharu was alone with Mokichi something that hadn''t happened since they got new members. Koharu loved it when it was just her and him, but, she had to get new three more members to keep the club alive at that thought she sighed, Mokichi looked at her "Something wrong Koharu-chan?" Koharu shreiked quietly "Uhm, no, just a little quiet is all" Mokcihi chuckled "I know, without the others here its pretty quiet" he smiled Koharu blushed she quickly looked down at her book.She heard Mokichi chuckle again "It reminds me of when it was just us two" Koharu shuddered, her heart pounded in her chest "Don''t you think so?" Koharu peered out from behind her book to see a smiling Mokichi she was flustered as she spoke "Ye..Yeah. it, it, sure, sure, does" Koharu looked back at her book.


    Great, why''d he have to remind her about that, of course she felt the same way, she heard Mokichi shift in his chair, slowly looked his way and saw he was looking back at his book she stared at him again, she swallowed hard, she was sitting on the same side of the table they were reading at as him, they were about a few inches apart.Koharu blushed on her thoughts, she wanted to scoot a little bit closer, her heart raced she was so nervous, but Koharu had decided that she would make a serious effort, when it came to Mokichi, she could do for him. She nodded and psyched herself up, she put her book down softly, she cripped the chair tightly, as queitly and as slowly as she could, she moved herself and the chair closer and closer to Mokichi''s.She stopped before her shoulder touched his,she quickly picked her book back up and went back to reading, even though she wasn''t touching him, Koharu''s heart was racing like crazy, that''s when Mokichi glanced and saw her closer to him "Hey,when did you get so close?" Koharu''s body jolted.


    Turning really red in the face, she looked at him "Uhm, I can move back if you don''t like it" Koharu made a semi-sad face Mokichi was no match, he would always lose to Koharu''s sad face he rubbed the back of his head, "No, its alright, I don''t mind" Koharu shrieked internally, "Really?" Mokichi smiled and nodded which in turn made Koharu smile and her heart beat even faster. Mokichi went back to reading as did Koharu, after several minuets of silent reading Koharu looked at Moichi once more, okay, she was close to him, but she wanted to be a little closer, her heart was going crazy at just the thought of what she was thinking of doing "He..He said he didn''t mind" she incouraged herself. Koharu once again did as she had done before, she put her book down, she gripped the chair, and quietly and slowly inched closer to Mokichi, "Closer" she told herself she had to go closer, just a bit closer. When Koharu felt Mokichi''s arm against hers she stopped, she''d done it, she was now very close to Mokichi, so close that their arms were touching making Koharu blush like crazy and fidget in her seat Mokichi soon took notice to the feeling on his arm, he looked and saw a bright red faced Koharu sitting really close to him.


    Seeing Koharu''s face so closely made him blush as well, it was true Koharu was indeed very cute, and up close that fact was made even clearer he felt Koharu shifting in her seat, she must be really flustered having her arm against his, Mokichi smiled to himself it seemed Koharu was trying her hardest to break out of her shyness. He felt like he should just let Koharu do what she wanted, besides, he thought Koharu was even cuter when she tried so hard at something, he looked back down at his book Koharu did the same, but, Koharu couldn''t consintrate on the book at all. She was more focused on the fact she was really really close to Mokichi,she looked at him, "Boy..he''s even more handsome close up" she swallowed hard she looked at their touching arms, Koharu thought on it, she had to go further. She incouraged herself, and she slowly leaned closer to Mokichi who felt the sudden weight on his arm, he looked and saw Koharu had gotten even closer to him he blushed, he could feel Koharu''s soft body against his arm, Koharu didn''t show it well but, she did have a really feminine body other people just couldn''t see it because her uniform was to big for her.


    "Koharu.." Koharu shuddered when she heard Mokichi whisper her name, "M..Mo..Momo" she whispered back making Mokichi''s heart pound now both of them couldn''t focus on reading their books, they had other things on their mind, silence filled the clubroom, Mokichi sat their wondering what Koharu''s next move would be as she thought what that move would be wand when she was going to do it. She thought and thought, then she reached a conclusion, she had to no, she wanted to get even closer then she already was, she didn''t incourage herself, her emotions took over, she found herself lowering herself onto Mokichi''s body Mokichi shuddered as he felt Koharu move her body along his. Koharu went further, she turned and she slowly lowered herself onto Mokichi''s chest, she rested her head just under his chin, her body was pushing against his which caused his heart to pound like crazy having Koharu''s body so close to his, along with her face being so close to his.

    He looked down slowly, seeing Koharu''s cute face looking up at him made his heart skip a beat, her eyes were shining, "Uhm, hi" he smiled Koharu smiled "Yeah, hi" she giggled as she heart Mokichi''s pounding heart "What''s so funny?" he chuckled "Your heart, I can hear it" Mokichi blushed "Yo..You can, I see" Mokichi had an embarrased look on his face whihc made Koharu giggle. "Your really handsome Momo" Mokichi''s body jolted "Really, thanks" Koharu smiled "Your always handsome, but, seeing you so close" Koharu''s heart raced "Makes you look even more handsome then normal" Koharu''s emotions took over again, she reached her arm up towards his face. Her hand touched his face, it was warm, she giggled when she saw his face flush red she heard his heart beat increase, "Your hearts going crazy" Mokichi chuckled "Really" Koharu smiled "You know, so is mine" Mokichi''s body jolted when he felt Koharu take hole of his left arm with her free hand. "Koharu-chan, what are you doing?" Mokichi swallowed hard "I want you to feel my heartbeat" Mokichi blushed and watched as Koharu took his hand and slowly moved it towards her chest, she smiled as she lowered it where her heart was, Mokichi felt a jolt go thorugh his body.


    He felt his hand touching something soft and round, "Koharu, I''m.." he didn''t get to complete his sentance as Koharu shook her head "No, its okay" Mokichi blushed "If you say so" Koharu giggled "Do, Do you feel it?" Mokichi was so flustered "Your..Your breast?" Koharu blushed "No, not that, my heart" Mokichi chuckled, he focused and sure enough he felt Koharu''s heart pound against his hand he smiled "Yeah, your heart''s going a mile a minuet" Koharu smiled. The tension between the two of them was high, their hearts beating like crazy, their flushed red faces,their emotions rising Koharu felt something yelling at her, it was telling her to go for a kiss, she realized it was her heart. "Momo..." she slowly started to go for his face, "Ko..Koharu-chan" Koharu smiled "Call me Koharu" Mokichi''s body shuddered, "Ko..Koharu" that sent Koharu over the edge she decided to make the kiss happen faster Mokichi could see what Koharu was thinking, he smiled as he closed his eyes. But, just as Koharu reached his lips the clubroom door was pulled open, Koharu jumped and her concentration was broken she looked and saw the other club members in the doorway, they had conevinent store bags in hand, they were staring at her and Mokichi.


    One of them grinned, "Sorry to have disturbed you" and the door slid closed, Koharu felt her face wash with embarassment "Koharu, you okay?" Koharu didn''t respond she simply got herself off of Mokichi, she scooted her chair away from him she picked up her book and made as if she was reading it. Mokichi chuckled, seeing Koharu so embarassed was cute, but, he remebered how she was just moments ago, that got him blushing "If that''s how serious Koharu can get.." his heart pounded the clubroom door opened again, the other members peered inside, when they saw Mokichi and Koharu had seperated they sighed and walked in. They sat in their seats and set their snacks down and pulled their books out, the room was filled with the sound of bags being open and multiple pages being turned, everyone was focused on their own book exept for Koharu while no one was looking she looked at Mokichi. She blushed as she remebered what she had been doing, she couldn''t believe she was so bold, the thoughts made her scoot closer to Mokichi, he smiled when he looked and saw her sitting a bit closer looking at her book and went back to his book, Koharu looked up from hers, "I wonder.." she mumbled "I wonder what would of happened if we had been alone a bit longer" Koharu smiled as her heart raced.  Chapter 17- You, Me, On a Date!

    Koharu paced back and forth in her room, she held her cellphone in her hands Mokichi''s name and number was displayed on the screen, her finger was hovering over the call button, Koharu took in a breath to calm herself "Come on Koharu, you can do this!" she incouraged herself but, she was still nervous she had been like this for the past three minuets. It was a day off from school, and Koaharu felt it would be the best time to go on a date with Mokichi but, with what had happened between them in the club room just a few days ago made it more difficult to talk let alone call Mokichi. Koharu looked at the display on her phone, she sighed then she grumbled "I''m going to do it!" with that Koharu pressed her finger down on the call button, she then started to panic she had no idea what to say to Mokichi once or even if he answered.


    Koharu nervously put the phone to her ear, she listened and waited as the phone rang about five times, Koharu was about to hang up and try again once she figured out what she was going to say when suddenly, the ringing stopped and the call was picked up. "Hello? Koaharu?" came Mokichi''s voice Koharu shuddered "He..Hello Momo" she responded nervously "Hey, what''s up, is there something you need?" Koharu panicked and almsot dropped her phone, "Uhm no, I was calling because I was wondering about something" a hum came from Mokichi''s end, "Really, and what would that something be?" Koharu''s face went red. "Well, uhm, I was wondering, if maybe.." Koharu''s face was getting hot her face was getting redder by the second, Koharu started to stutter a chuckle came from Mokichi "Koharu, you okay?" Koharu gasped and was brought back to normal.


    "Ye..Yeah, where was I?" Koharu searched her brain for what she had said last, Mokichi chuckled once more "You said something about wondering about something" with that it clicked in Koharu''s mind "Oh yeah!" Kohari immediatley went red in the face as she remebered what she was doing. "So, what''s this thing your wondering about?" Koharu fidgeted in place, "Well, as you know todays a day off from school" Mokichi responded with a "Yeah, what about it?" Koharu cleared her thorat and tried to incourage herself. "Well, I was wondering.." Kohari froze "Yes?" came Mokichi''s voice "I was wondering if maybe..." Koharu paused again "If maybe what?" came Mokichi''s voice in a teasing tone, "Uhm, I was wondering if maybe you''d..." Koharu bit her tounge, she shrieked in pain "You okay?" came Mokichi''s concerned voice. "Yeah, just bit my tounge" a laugh came from Mokichi, Koharu grumbled "I''m glad you find it funny" Mokichi''s laughing slowly came to a stop "Sorry, I couldn''t help it, your so cute Koharu" Koharu went red "Cute..".


    Koharu could feel her heart pounding in her chest, "Cute.." Koharu repeated "Uhm,Koharu? You okay?" came Mokichi''s voice, Koharu shook her head "Ye..Yeah, thanks" Mokichi chuckled "Don''t mention it, now, what did you want to say?" it all clicked in Koharu''s head. "Well, I was wondering, since it''s a day off of school, that maybe we, I mean that..." Koharu paused she was so nervous, her heart was pounding in her chest a bit faster now she even started rammbiling on and on not getting to the conclusion. Mokichi chuckled "Calm down Koharu, now tell me nice and slow what you want" Koharu stopped her rammbling and did as Mokichi told her, she took a calming breath her heart was pounding, she was going to say it, she took in a breath. What came out her mouth wasn''t what she had pictured in her mind, when she opened her mouth the words just flew out, "You, Me, On a Date! Today! Please!" she had just shouted out the words that had come to her mind but, she still got her point across.


    After that, she could hear Mokichi chuckling on the other end, "Is that all?" he chuckled lightly "Ye..Yeah, what do you say?" Koharu waited with baited breath,waiting to hear Mokichi''s response "Sure, why not, what time you want to meet up?" Koharu''s face grew estatic, "Really!? Great! Uhm, how about at seven?" Mokichi gave a grunt of agreement. "Sure, seven sounds fine, seeya then" Koharu gave an agreeing hum, "I''ll text you where to meet up okay?" Mokichi responde with a hum and then he hung up. Koharu stood still, listening to the dial tone ring in her ear, she took her phone away from her ear and pressed the end call button she walked over to her bed and layed flat on it. She stared at the ceiling, her heart was pounding like crazy, her face was beet red, she shriked lightly in her hands "I did it! I did it!" she squeled as she tossed and turned on her bed she stopped and smiled up at her ceiling. "I better get ready, for my date with Momo" she giggled and hopped off her bed and got to looking for a change of clothes.

    Several minuets later, Koharu was standing in front of a bank, she was wearing a white collard shirt that was matched with a light blue skirt, she had on a pair of black dress shoes with was paired with a pair of white kneesocks. Her hair was fixed and tidy, she had looked herself over before she had left and left when she saw everything looked good, now here she was, waiting for Mokichi to arrive. Koharu tapped her foot nervously, she was looking both ways constantly looking for any sign of Mokichi, she would ocassianly see a guy look her way, nervously she would look the other way. Koharu looked down at her phone, it was close to the time they had agreed to meet, "Where is he?" Koharu looked nervously to the left and right.


    Just then a boy came up to her, "Hey, your really cute" Koharu looked at the boy "Uh..Uhm thanks" she smiled nervously "So, what are you doing here by yourself?" the boy came closer "Uhm, I''m waiting for someone" the boy gave a grin. "I see, when were you suppose to meet?" Koharu stuttered a bit, "At..At seven" the boy looked down at his watch "Well, looks to me like your friends really late" Koharu looked at her phone, it was a few seconds past seven. She looked left and right nervously, she was really hoping that Mokichi would show up, "Say, I have an idea, why don''t you hang out with me since your friends running late?" the boy grinned. Koharu shifted away nervously, "Uhm, no thanks, I''d rather wait" the boy gave hummed lowly, "Oh come on, whats the harm, come with me, we can have a fun time together" the boys arm started to extended towards Koharu, "Uhm, no, really, I''m okay" the boy didn''t seem to be listening at all.


    Koharu was scared, without hesitation she opened her mouth and cried out, "Momo!!" then out of nowhere just after she had called out his name Mokichi appeared right beside Koharu, his arm shot out and he grabbed the other boys arm. The boy groaned in pain as Mokichi gripped his wrist tightly, "Ow, what the hell man!?" the boy scowled at Mokichi "What do you think your doing to Koharu?" Mokichi scowled harder at the boy. Koharu looked up at Mokichi, her face was red and her heart was pounding, Mokichi was like a knight in the fantasy stories she read, "Momo" Koharu whispered Mokichi looked down at Koharu with a smile. "Sorry I''m late Koharu, are you okay, was this guy bothering you?" Mokichi looked back at the boy whose wrist he was gripping tightly in his hand "No, he wasn''t bothering me" Mokichi looked skeptically at the boy then looked back at Koharu and  he smiled "Alright, if you say so" Koharu smiled back.


    Mokichi let the boys wrist go, "Sorry about that" the boy rubbed his aching wrist "You could''ve said you were waiting for your boyfriend" with that the boy walked away Mokichi stood and watched him walk away, meanwhile, Koharu was in another world "B..Bo..Boy...Boyfri..Boyfrien.." Koharu stuttered out the word "Boyfriend?!" her cheeks flushed. Her heart started beating hard in her chest, "Momo''s my..." she started to squee and giggled to herself, "Koharu? Something the matter?" came Mokici''s voice which snapped Koharu back to reality "What?" she eyed Mokichi "I asked, is anything wrong?" Koharu gasped nervously. "No! I''m okay!" she giggled "Thanks" she smiled brightly Mokichi blushed "Don''t mention it" he scrathed his cheek he then looked at Koharu and eyes her up and down, "You look good" Koharu blushed "Th..Thanks" she looked at Mokichi he was wearing a black t-shirt with a large lion decal on the front, over that he wore a green, black, and white plaid overshirt. Matched with that was a pair of dark blue denim jeans on his feet was a pair of generic black and soled shoes Koharu smiled "You..You look good as well" Mokichi blushed "Thanks" he rubbed the back of his head he cleared his throat, "Well, should we go?" Koharu looked at him.


    She nodded, "Yeah, lets go" she extended her hand to Mokichi who smiled, he took her hand in his and they walked off ready to get their date started. [Ch.7 END]

 Chapter 18- Ill Be Your Dragon

    After what had happened at the meeting spot Koharu''s face was permentaly red, everytime she looked at Mokichi she''d find that her heart would start beating like crazy, and when he''d look her way she''d look away in a fluster, Koharu had replayed the scene in her head multiple times, the guy hitting on her, her refusing him politley, him getting a bit annoyed, her scared out of her wits as the guy reached out to grab her. And then, in a flash, Mokichi arm shot out from behind her and grabbed the guys arm, Koharu could still remeber the look on Mokichi''s face as he stared the guy down, that face was now and forever lasered into her brain she was never going to forget that as long as she lived. Then, the guy refered to Mokichi as her boyfriend, just the mere thought of that made Koharu''s heart beat increase and her face to flush more, she knew that she wasn''t really Mokichi''s girlfriend but, she remebered that sometime soon, she could very well be.


    Koharu was deep in her own world, so much so, that she didn''t hear Mokichi talking to her, she didn''t hear what he was saying until she felt his hand on her shoulder Koharu jumped, she looked over at Mokichi "What is it Momo?" Mokichi sighed, "I''ve been trying to talk to you this whole time" Koharu gasped, "I''m sorry! I was lost in my own thoughts" she gave a apologetic look. Mokichi smiled, "It''s alright, with what happened earlier I guess you would be" Koharu blushed, "Uhm, thanks again for that, back there I mean" she looked at Mokichi with a greatful smile Mokichi blushed, "Don''t mention it" he looked away embarassed and red in the face, he scratched his cheek a bit. Mokichi looked back at Koharu, "Uhm, Koharu" he started, "What?" Koharu replied she was a bit concerned about the look Mokichi had on his face.


    It was like he wanted to ask something but, was deciding wheither or not to actually ask, "Uhm, there''s something I want to know" Koharu nodded, she was nervous, what could Mokichi want to ask her, she waited nervously for Mokichi to continue talking, Mokichi rubbed the back of his head. He took in a breath, "Why did you say that guy wasn''t bothering you?" Koharu stopped in her tracks, "What do you mean?" Mokichi grumbled to himself. It looked to Koharu that Mokichi was still fighting himself to ask her what he wanted to, he sighed "When I was walking up, I could hear you talking with him, when I saw you looking nervous and scared I started walking faster" Mokichi''s face started to get red, "Then, when I saw how scared you were, when he reached out for you" Koharu''s heart skipped a beat. The same look Mokichi had on his face when he stopped the guy from grabbing her appeared, Mokichi chukled "I just couldn''t help it, seeing you like that.." Mokichi tightened his fists, Koharu''s heart was thumping in her chest.


    "What I''m saying is, I know that guy was bothering you, yet when I asked you, you said no" Koharu realized why Mokichi was asking her this, "I''m sorry Momo, it''s just, if I told you he was bothering me you wouldn''t have let him go" Koharu smiled sadly, "Besides, it was okay, you protected me, so he didn''t bother me at all" after hearing that, Mokichi felt terrible, "Koharu.." Koharu smiled at him. Mokichi took her hand in his, which caused her to jump, she stared at their joined hands and then looked up at him, "I''m glad to here that" he smiled Koharu went warm in the face, she was holding hands with Mokichi, he was smiling at her, these things were making her heart race more then it ever had before. Koharu was speechless, never in her life did she think that she''d be in a situation like this, a situation she only knew about through reading romance novels, "Shall we get on with out date?" Mokichi smiled, Koharu smiled back brightly, she nodded enthusiastically Mokichi chuckled, "Alright then, lets be on our way shall we?" with that Mokichi started walking pulling Koharu lightly with him.


    The two had a good time together, the two of the first stopped at a place to eat, it was a place that served both japanese food as well as dishes from overseas, they stayed there for about an hour talking and eating after that, they went to see a movie, it was your standard romance movie, guy meets girl, the two slowly fall in love with each other, they kiss at the end. Mokichi laughed when Koharu''s face turned bright red when the two actors kissed, but, when they walked out the theater Mokichi could see Koharu was thinking about something in her head, he could tell it was realted to the movie they had watched but, he didn''t ask her about it. After the movie, the two of them took a walk in the park that was about two blocks away from the theater they were at, Koharu and Mokichi walked down the cement walkway hand in hand, Mokichi say many couples walking like they were in the park, when he asked Koharu she told him about the park being a lucky spot to go on a date, she told him couples that had a date in the park would have the love solidified.


    As they walked, they saw a couple that looked to be around the same age as they were, the two seemed to be really nervous about something, then as Koharu and Mokichi watched on, they saw the two kiss, that made Koharu turn red, as well as Mokichi, they looked at each other and the blush on their face grew, Koharu''s eyes were shimmering, it was like they were invinting Mokichi to do the same as the couple they had seen. But, Mokichi was too nervous to kiss Koharu right then and there, so the two of them resumed walking the path after spending about ten minuets walking in the park they decided to leave, as they walked around trying think of something else they could do the sun slowly started to go down. As they walked still hand in hand Mokichi looked over at Koharu, "So, is there anything else you want to do?" Koharu hummed in thought, she looked at Mokichi "I don''t know, we''ve already done plenty haven''t we?" Mokichi scrathed his head, "Yeah, but, we still have some time left before the sun goes down" Koharu went back to thinking.


    She didn''t want her date with Mokichi to end yet, Koharu strained her brain to come up with something that the two of them could do, then in the spur of the moment Koharu shouted "Want to go to the library?" Mokichi seemed surprised by Koharu''s suggestion, which made her think her idea wasn''t a good one, and she became flustered as she tried to come up with something better. As she did however, Mokichi chuckled, "Sure, why not, that sounds great" Koharu looked over at Mokichi, he had a smile on his face which made her smile back at him Koharu nodded. She took the lead and guided Mokichi to the library, they walked inside and Koharu marveled at all the books that was before her eyes, Mokichi gave a chuckle, "You really do love books alot don''t you?" Koharu looked over with a smile and nodded "Yeah, I really do" Koharu''s bright and happy smile made Mokichi blush.


    "Why don''t you go find something while I find a table" Koharu was reluctant at first to let go of Mokichi''s hand, but when he smiled Koharu decided it was okay and let his hand go and went off into the manasery of shelves, as Koharu looked and picked out books she liked Mokichi walked around and looked for a table they could sit at. He finally found a good one, it was a small table that was right by a big window that the setting sun was shining through, he sat down and waited for Koharu to reappear from behind the shelves when he saw her red hair poke out from behind them he called her name. She looked over and smiled, she then walked over to their table carrying a stack of books she placed them on the table where the made a dull thud, she pulled back her chair and sat down Mokichi marveled at the stack of books Koharu had before her. He chuckled, "Your really going to read all this?" he took one of the books in the stack, the book was big and looked like it contained thousands of pages, Mokichi skimmed through it he couldn''t believe how many words he didn''t know how to say written on some of the pages.


    He looked at Koharu with amazment, "Wow, you must really be smart if you read books like this" Mokichi placed the book he took back in Koharu''s stack Koharu chuckled, "No, I just took some of these because the titles were intresting" Mokichi smiled, Koharu went red in the face, "Well, go ahead, choose whatever catches you eye" Koharu pushed the stack of books over to Mokichi who nodded, he began to look through it. Mokichi looked at each book he came to so far, none of the ones he had seen caught his eye then suddenly, one did, he hummed in wonder as he looked at the book cover, it had a picture of a green dragon laying on a bed of gold and jewels. Mokichi felt that the book was your typical fantasy story, with dragons and knights and swords and magic, Mokichi decided he was going to take a look at this one, he held the book in his other hand and pushed the stack of books back to Koharu.

    "What did you choose?" Koharu asked, Mokichi smiled and he showed her the book, "This one, the cover really caught my eye" Koharu''s eyes went wide, "Koharu? Something the matter?" to Mokichi, Koharu looked like she just saw a ghost, as Koharu stared at the book in Mokichi''s hands a hint of sadness could be seen in her eyes it was almost like she knew the book well. Mokichi grew concerned, "Koharu, is everything okay?" Koharu saw the concerned look Mokichi was giving her, she gave a quick smile, "Yeah, everythings fine!" Koharu smiled again, Mokichi wanted to believe Koharu''s smile but, something was telling him not to. Mokichi sighed, "Koharu, please, I know somethings up with you" Koharu shook her head, "No,nothings wrong" Koharu kept up her smile, Mokichi frowned, "I know somethings wrong with you, you got like this after I showed you this book" Mokichi flashed the book he held to where Koharu could see it.


    Koharu''s eyes shuddered, she looked away from the book, "Please, really, it''s nothing" Mokichi grumbled, "Koharu" Koharu jumped, she was surprised by the tone in which Mokichi spoke, she looked at him and her heart jumped as well, as he was staring at her with the face she''ll never forget, "Momom.." Mokichi placed his empty hand ontop of Koharu''s, he rubbed softly, he gave a warm smile, "Koharu, if somethings bothering you, tell me, I hate seeing you like this" Koharu''s eyes shimmered. She sighed, and she nodded, "Alright, I''ll tell you" Koharu took in a breath, she eyed the book then looked at Mokichi, "That book, I know it well you see" Mokichi nodded, "You see, that book, is the last one my mother read to me" after she said that a sad look came to Koharu''s face. Mokichi''s eyes went wide, he remebered everything Saeko had told him about their mother, "I see" Mokichi''s face grew sad as well.


    "Momo, you know about my mom?" Mokichi paused, he was thinking about weither or not to reveal that he heard about what happened with her mother from Saeko but, seeing the look Koharu was giving him he decided he had to, Mokichi sighed sadly, he nodded, "Yeah, Saeko told me" Koharu''s face showed surprise, she smiled sadly, "I see, so Saeko-nee told you" Mokichi nodded sadly. Koharu sighed, "I didn''t think Saeko-nee would be able to tell somebody that" Koharu had a sullen look on her face, "Look, I''ll tell you what I told her, you don''t have to tell me if it''s too hard" Mokichi added a smile to his words, Koharu smiled back, a bit red in the face, she was really happy the one she was talking to was Mokichi, she shook her head, "No, I''ll tell you, because it''s you Momo, I feel that I can" Mokichi blushed. He nodded, "I see, well then you can continue" Koharu gave a nod.


    "Like I said, that book was the last one my mom read to me" Koharu gave a smile, "My mom would read to me anytime I asked her, she was the best at reading stories" Mokichi smiled, Koharu continued "It''s what got me to fall in love with books, my mother reading to me is what made me want to join the literature club" Koharu''s eyes started to water. Koharu felt Mokichi''s hand tighten on hers, she saw the smile he had on his face and she smiled back, she then continued on, "When mom got sick, she wasn''t able to read to me as much as she did before" Koharu held back a cry, "When she was able to, I made sure that I spent enough time with her as I could" Koharu sniffled. She looked at the book with the dragon on the cover, she placed a hand on it and she rubbed the cover for a bit, "This book, was the one she was reading to me" Koharu gave a shuddering breath.


    "A few days after she had finally finshed reading it to me" Koharu''s eyes grew deep with sadness, "She passed away, so, this is the last book my mom ever read to me" Koharu rubbed the cover of the book tenderly, "I haven''t look at this book ever since she died" Koharu smiled, "Koharu.." came Mokichi''s voice. Koharu looked at Mokichi, to him, it looked like she was about to cry, "What''s this book about?" Koharu gave a surprised look but then, she smiled, "It''s about a princess who is taken by a dragon because she was the most beautiful thing he ever saw" Mokichi nodded, Koharu continued with her summary, "The dragon keeps the princess in his cave, and whenever a knight comes to take the princess away from him he chases them away" Mokichi smiled. He looked at the picture of the dragon sleeping ontop his gold bed, "Sounds like he doesn''t want anybody to take the women he loves away from him" Koharu blushed, "So, what else goes on?" Koharu jumped, "Well, uhm, towards the end of the book, the princess starts to realize the dragon is protecting her, and just as she finds that out a knight her father sent kills him" Mokichi frowned.


    "Don''t worry! The dragon is reborn as a man because of his love for the princess, and the two end up as lovers" Mokichi smiled, "I like that ending" Koharu blushed and smiled, "Yeah, so do I" Koharu''s heart was pounding in her chest, remebereing the story now made her recollet what had happened earlier in the day. When Mokichi had chased off the guy hitting on her, he had the same look on his face that time as he did when he asked her to tell him what was bothering her, at that thought Koharu smiled, Mokichi raised an eyebrow "What?" Koharu giggled, "Oh, it''s just, you remind me of the dragon in the book" Mokichi blushed. He smiled, "I do? How?" Koharu giggled, "Well, earlier, you protected me from that guy, and now you were so concerned about me after I saw that book" Koharu looked back at the book, she stared at the green dragon, "That''s how your like the dragon in this book" she looked back at Mokichi and gave a bright smile. Mokichi blushed, "I see" he scratched his cheek, Mokichi''s heart started to race seeing Koharu smile at him like she was.


    His emotions took over, "Then I''ll be you green dragon, that is.." Mokichi paused, Koharu''s face was red as it could be and her heart was pounding hard, "If you want me to" Mokichi gave a warm and bright smile that melted Koharu''s being. She smiled and her emotions took over as well, she rose from her chair making it squeek as it moved across the floor, she leaned in towards Mokichi who gasped "Koharu what are you-" Mokichi was cut off as Koharu planted her lips onto his. Mokichi''s eyes went wide, he was surprised, he never expected Koharu to just up and kiss him, Koharu locked lips with Mokichi for a few minutes before she pulled away, her eyes were shining as well as Mokichi''s, Koharu smiled and giggled "Of course, I''ll be happy to have you as my dragon" Mokichi smiled.


    He was about to lean over and kiss Koharu back but at that moment, he heard the sound of someone clearing their throat, he looked over and saw the librarian standing beside their table looking at them with a not too pleased face, "You two,this is a place for reading, if you two want to do lovey dovey stuff I suggest you go elsewhere" Mokichi and Koharu turned red with embarassment. They apologized to the librarian and they decided it was best to go, Mokichi helped Koharu put back all the books she took off the shelves but, she took a minuet or so looking at the book with the green dragon on the cover, Mokichi heard her whisper "Love you mom" before she put it back on the shelf. That was the last book to be put back, after that Mokichi took hold of Koharu''s hand and escorted her out the library, Koharu made her way home by herself although, after Mokichi guided her half way before she told him she was good by herself, Koharu''s face was somewhat red still. She was recollecting what she had done in the library, she had kissed Mokichi with that tought in her mind, Koharu giggled as she made her way home. [Ch.18 END]
