 Prologue 1 - Death

    Prologue 1


    You never really know when you die, nor do you know how. But when you die, you die in the most unexpected way.


    I was on my way to school when I started feeling something pulling at me, it was like something was trying to turn me inside out. it was only for a brief moment. Because it didn¡¯t happen again i decided it must have been my imagination, because it barely lasted a second. That turned out to be a major mistake, around 10 minutes after the attack the agonizing pain returned, but this time it lasted longer and hurt a lot more. As i felt the pain i slipped down the stairs. I had lost my balance and that was when I knew that I was going to die.


    As i was flying through the air, everything went by in slow motion. I felt like i could think a thousand thoughts in seconds, i choose to accept what was about to happen. I felt i couldn¡¯t stop it, neither did i feel like it. It felt like dying was the right thing to do, something i felt at the core of my being. The feeling of wanting to leave this world, i couldn¡¯t explain it. I could only feel a slight regret, i hadn¡¯t had the chance to say goodbye to my loved ones. Giving my last thoughts to my family, I closed my eyes and braced for impact.


    I lost consciousness as my head hit the stairs and i tumbled down to the bottom.

    I open my eyes the first thought that goes through my mind is ¡°Am i dead?¡± i don¡¯t look like Iuseto, Imean my appearance is the same, but my body is transparent and of a turkish color.I can see the floor through my legs.


    Guessing the obvious, Idecide to take a look around the train station.it isempty not a single person is there.Seeing that it''s empty, i walk closer tothe sign telling when the next train would arrive, trying to read. But, the sign doesn''t show anything,and whilelooking up the stairs it got me thinking.


    The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.¡°Where did they all go?" I refuse to believe that the overcrowded station could become so empty, in what felt like minutes. Guessing more time must have passed, I decided to search. around the station.


    After searching around the station, i gave up. I decided to wait, maybe something or someone could explain to me, what was going to happen now.


    Suddenly i could hear trains in the distance. Thinking it was weird, because Icouldn¡¯t see the train.


    Hearing something coming i walk over to check it out, while walking i hear a gentle voice telling me.


    ¡°Don''t be afraid, the next train will take you to your destiny. You weren''t destined for this world.¡± when i hear the voice i start to look around, there isn¡¯t anyone here. The voice didn¡¯t come from someone on this train station, it must have come from beyond.


    When the voice dies down, the train comes into my sight, Idecided to get on it. What would I lose? Iwas already dead, maybe something exciting was waiting for me at the end of the tunnel.


    The train stopped in front of me, Igot on it. As i entered the train Icould see that it was empty, there were no one on my left or my right. I began to have second thoughts about boarding the train. But it was too late the doors were closing, so Itook aseat.


    After Isat down the train started to move, slowly as the train was moving Icould feel my consciousness fade, something was dragging my mind, my soul away.

    Hello, here is the second chapter of the prologue. There will be a total of 3 chapters before the prologue is finished. I have 1 exam onFridayand 1 or 2 next week, so i won''t be able to promise any chapters.

    Prologue 2


    [Domain of the Goddess ofLife]


    ¡°Goddess, Goddess!¡± Hearing someone calling me, I turn my head towards the voice, seeing the angel running towards me. I furrow my brows, nothing requiring my attention should happen today.


    ¡°What are you making such a ruckus for Crocus¡± I say slightly annoyed, i had told beforehand that I didn¡¯t want to be disturbed! I will make sure to punish him, if it isn¡¯t damn important.


    ¡°I am terribly sorry Goddess, but the lost soul that you have been looking for has been found! He is on a small planet called earth, in the outer edges of the milky waygalaxy¡± Crocus said, as the last words left his mouth i rushed up, causing my chair to fall backwards.


    ¡°What! How did you find him?¡± I was happy, I have been searching for the whereabouts of the soul for more than 100 years. 100 years in my domain doesn''t count for much, time goes faster in my domain. The time he has been missing is equal to 17 years in human years.


    ¡°It seems that the soul has left its body, and therefore sent a signal to the rebirth center. The soul hasn''t been fetched because he isn''t in the register of souls on that planet, so the guides won''t be able to find him. ¡± Crocus says as he hands me the report that arrived when he died, The report tells me his name, age and how he died.


    I don''t read reports on mortals often, usually I leave that work to my angel. I am the Goddess of Life, i grant life to all, i can even grant life to beings who have already died, which is why my domain has a rebirth center. It allows my staff to place the soul, where it should be reborn, i only deal with cases where the choice is difficult to make. Usually it comes down to the amount of good karma affiliated with the soul.

    ¡°That''s fine, I will arrange for him to be transported here, I will personally ensure that he returns to where he belongs. You can go back now Crocus¡± i say waving my hand at him, signaling him to leave.


    ¡°Yes, Goddess¡± Crocus says as he bows and leaves the room.


    Hmm, so that is where he has been hiding. I need to find out what situation he is in, and bring him here in a way that doesn''t scare him. Because no matter how hard I try to force him, I can''t force him to enter my domain.


    I turn my gaze upon planet earth, it didn''t take long to find him. I wasn''t surprised at how he died. A lot of souls who end up on the wrong planet will die prematurely, because the soul yearns for its rightful place, resulting in the soul leaving the body, after the soul has left the body it usually ends up in an accident or at a hospital where the person is declared dead.


    The place where he died, will actually make it easier for me to transport him here.


    I used my power to manifest an ethereal train further down the tracks, willing it to drive towards him. After ensuring his transport i call out to him. The train will take him to my domain.


    ¡°Don''t be afraid, the next train will take you to your destiny. You weren''t meant for this world.¡± I watch for his reaction, while telling him what to do. He doesn''t look afraid and he does what I told him.


    He heard what I said, I see him entering the train. I start to prepare for his arrival, because he will be here shortly.
