 Chapter 1: The Boy Who Hates His Father

    As the train slowed to a stop the conductor came on the loudspeaker "All those getting off at Shujaku, All those getting off at Shujaku" the conductor said a single person stood up it was a fairly tall boy with shoulder length black hair and grey eyes that resembled granite "Guess this is where I get off" the boy said as he made his way to the train door it opened and he stepped out the condutor waited for a bit for anyone else to get off when no one did the door closed and the train set off once more leaving the young man at the station. The boy took in a breath "My fathers hometown eh?" the boy said looking around the train station "Dosen''t look like much.." the boy said he took some time to really grasp his situation here he was moving to his fathers hometown after his parents divorce then his mother said that she no longer had the will to take care of a boy who looked just like the man who broke her heart the boy gritted his teeth he hated when people said that he resembled his father because his father was a scumbag he was a total playboy whenever he saw an attractive women he''d go after them no matter how beautiful the women he was already with was that''s what happened to his mother. His father had been getting home really late for some time his mother had gotten suspicous of his long nights out he claimed he was working really late but his mother wasn''t an idiot when it came to people lying to her so one day she when he was out very late in the night his mother called his fathers place of business to see if he was their the boy had listened to his mothers conversation on the phone he coudn''t make out what was being said but with the look on his mothers face and the tears streaming down her face he knew it was what she didn''t want to hear sooner of later it was found out that his father had been fooling around with another women from work she was younger then the boys mother and to boy the women was really attractive which is why his father had started secretly going out with her in the guise of working late.


    Several days after his fathers sneaking around came to light the boys father left with the other women and then his father hurt his mother more by making his relationship with the women he cheated on his mother with public the boy hoped the same thing would happen to the women his father was with now that a women more attractive then her came along and he went for her and threw the homewrecking women to the curb the boy smiled to himself picturing the womens face when she was replaced by someone prettier then her "That would serve that bitch right" the boy said to himself some people passing heard him out of earshot and looked his way the boy laughed and waved nervously "Oh crap did they hear that?" the boy wondered he then figured it was time he got on his way he picked up his suitcase and started walking.


    When he got to the botttom of the stairs from the train platform there was a older women with long black hair wearing glasses her arms folded across her chest she looked at him when she saw him come into view the women had a unpleased look on her face upon seeing him the boy sighed and walked up to the women "Well, so you here" the women said with a scronful tone "Yeah, guess I am" the boy said the women looked the boy over keeping the same scronful look on her face "You look just like Shuji when he was your age" the women said the boy fidgeted at the mentioning of his fathers name "Don''t say that bastards name in front of me" the boy growled "Ho, talking back to me are we?" the women said unfazed by the boys angry look "I could just leave you here instead of letting you stay at my house" the women said the boy groaned "No, please, I''m sorry.." the boy said "I won''t do it again" the boy said the women stared at the boy for a while until she sighed "Fine, you can stay at my place but, you do one thing I don''t like and your gone" the women said "Got it?" the women said "Yes" the boy said with a hint of scorn "What was that?" the women said with a look of disgust "Yes Aunt Ayuko" the boy said "That''s what I thought" the women said she was the boys aunt her name was Ayako and she was his fathers sister and his aunt for some reason hated him because of his remblence to his father what was his mother thinking sending him to this women who hated him so much "Come on" Ayuko said walking off "Yes Aunt Ayuko" the boy said and he started fallowing Ayuko "Oh yeah, what was your name again?" Ayuko asked "Natsuki" the boy said "Oh yeah, that girly name" Ayuko said "My mother gave me that name" the boy said "Oh, sorry" Ayuko said but her face showed she wasn''t "Natsuki can be a boy or girls name" Natsuki said "Yeah yeah" Ayuko said not even paying attention to him.


    Natsuki groaned as his new caregiver wasn''t paying him any mind "Such a girly name yet you look just like your father" Ayuko said Natsuki bit his lip trying to subside his anger "I don''t really like that resemblance" Natsuki said. Natsuki fallowed  Ayuko out of the train station when he stepped out he got some looks from people passing by "Come one, My cars over there"Ayuko said pointing towards the curb in front of the trainstation pointing out a red car and she walked towards it Natsuki fallowed Ayuko to her car "Put your stuff in back"Ayuko said as she got in her car Natsuki nodded and did what he was told he put his suitcase in the back of the car and he sat in front and buckled himself in Ayuko pulled away from the curb and they were on their way to her house. It was only a few minuets later that they came to Ayuko''s house "We''re here" she said pulling into the driveway and turning the car off "So, this is where.." Natsuki pause "Where you father grew up" Ayuko said Natsuki sulked he was going to be living in the same house and neighborhood his father grew up in "Come one get out and bring your stuff inside" Ayuko said getting out the car Natsuki nodded and he got out of the car and went to get his stuff while he has his back turned he heard a old mans voice "Well if it isn''t Shuji Jr." Natsuki turned and saw a man looking at him with an angry look "I''m sorry?" Natsuki said confused "I called you Shuji Jr." the man said "On the count that you look just like your father" the man said with a look of disgust.


    Natsuki fought back his urge to punch the man sensless all he did was tune out the man and walked inside Ayuko''s house "Another Shuji to ruin our lives" the man said Natsuki bit his lip and proceeded inside closing the door behind him when he got in Ayuko was sitting on a sofa when she saw him walk in she got up "You''ll be staying in you fathers old room" Ayuko said walking over to him Natsuki nodded why did he have to be in his fathers room specifically when he knew their were other available rooms. Ayuko crossed her arms "You know where it is right?" Ayuko asked Natsuki shook his head Ayuko sighed "Up the stairs to the right the first door" Ayuko said "Got it?" she asked Natuski nodded and he walked off Natuski walked up the stairs and turned to the right and he stopped at the first door where he paused when he saw the name ''Shuji'' carved into the wood of the door Natsuki gritted his teeth reading his fathers name he''d have to get something to cover that name up Natsuki reached for the knob of the door and turned it and he stepped inside he flicked on the light he looked around his fathers old room and it looked like it hadn''t been touched in years "Could have thrown all this crap away" Natsuki said throwing out every single thing that belonged to his father was another thing he was going to have to do. Natsuki walked deeper into the room he threw his suitcase on the ground and he sat down on the bed being in the same room as his scumbag father made his skin crawl in disgust would he really be able to stay in a room that belonged to him looking around the room Natsuki saw a frame sitting on a shelf he looked at it hard and he could just make out the young face of his father Natsuki quickly ran over to the shelf and picked up the picture sure enough it was true what everyone said he did look just like his father the same medium length black hair the same granite grey eyes Natsuki felt his anger rise without thinking he threw the picture to the floor the class frame smashing into pieces. Natsuki gritted his teeth in anger he then walked over to the bed and sat back down on it and placed his head in his hands Ayuko came up the stairs and walked in "What the hell was that?" Ayuko asked with her arms folded a not to pleased look on her face she then saw the picture frame on the floor the broken pieces of glass scattered all over under it "Did you break that?" Ayuko asked looking at Natsuki "Yes"Natsuki said "And why would you do that?" Ayuko asked "Because.." Natsuki said "It''s true.." he cried "I look just like him.." he said "No shit, your the spitting image of him" Ayuko said Natsuki said nothing "Clean this up" Ayuko said and she walked out the room.


    Natsuki got up after Ayuko left and started picking up the frame and the pieces of class when he picked up a piece of glass he cut his finger and the red flowed from his finger "Damn.." Natsuki said not only did his father make his life miserable now he was casuing him harm "I''ll never be like you.." Natsuki said as he continued picking the pieces of glass up he went over to the trashcan by the door and dropped the picture frame and pieces inside "I''m not my fathers son" Natsuki said "I am Natsuki Yoihiro" he said "And I will make sure I never become like you" he said later that evening Ayuko called Natsuki downstairs he walked into the living room where she was sitting "I think it''s time I tell you the rules of my house" Ayuko said Natsuki nodded reluctantly. Ayuko crossed her arms and threw her left leg over her right "First things first" Ayuko started "No staying out late in the night" she said Natsuki felt a jolt go through his body was this because his father stayed out late cheating on his mother "Understood?" Ayuko asked Natsuki nodded Ayuko shifted and continued "Second, no females are allowed over" Ayuko said again Natsuki felt like this rule was there because of his father "You can let any male friends you make come over but only them" Ayuko said Natsuki nodded "Third, Don''t cause any trouble in town or at school" Ayuko said "The moment you slip up I''m going to wash my hands of you" Ayuko said Natsuki nodded he knew what that ment if he cause any trouble what so ever he''d be kicked out Ayuko''s house it felt like Ayuko wanted to get rid of him and she didn''t hide that fact at all with the way she looked at him with distain Natsuki nodded "If you fallow these three rules we''ll have no problems" Ayuko said "Yes aunt Ayuko" Natsuki said "Good, Now, it''s getting to be dinner time" Ayuko said "You wouldn''t happen to know how to cook?" Ayuko asked "No, I don''t Mom was always the one who cooked" Natuski said Ayuko sighed "Guess where having cup ramen then" Ayuko said "You know how to make that don''t you?" Ayuko asked Natsuki nodded "Good" Ayuko said getting up from the couch "At least you won''t starve" Ayuko said. Natsuki nodded and fallowed Ayuko into the kitchen she walked to a cupboard and opened it inside where dozens upon dozens of cup ramen all in different flavors and sizes "Choose one you like" Ayuko said quickly taking a cup of chicken flaovred ramen and she went off to fix it Natsuki looked at all the cups of ramen trying to find one he liked then he saw one that was shrimp flavored he smiled and took it out the cupboard and he closed the cupboard door and walked away from it Ayuko had hers on the counter pouring boiling water into the cup she flipped the cover back on and placed chosticks on top when she saw Natsuki come over with his she scoffed "You and your father have the same taste" Ayuko said "What?" Natsuki said "Shuji liked shrimp flavored ramen as well" Ayuko said Natsuki paused his tastes were the same as his fathers.

Ayuko asked "Bed.." Natsuki answered "You''re not eating dinner?" Ayuko asked "Not hungry.." Natsuki said as he walked out the kitchen and up the stairs and into his room he closed the door behind him and locked it he turned the light off and went to the bed and her layed down after a while of tossing and turning he fell asleep it was a few days after Natsuki had moved in and his transfer to his new school was made final and he could finally go to school which he actually thanked happened otherwise he''d have to stay in a house with a person who hates the very sight of him his new school unifrom was hanging on the door he just looked at it for a second or two as the uniform was the same his father had in his closet when he and his mother were still together Natsuki sighed even if it was it was a small price to pay to be able to stay out of Ayuko''s house for a few minutes he quickly got changed and looked at himself in the mirrior in his room he fixed his messed up hair and he checked to make sure everything on his uniform was fixed right. Happy with how he looked Natsuki grabbed his bookbag and left his room closing the door behind him he walked downstairs and Ayuko was already up sitting on the couch watching the news when she heard Natsuki come down the stairs she looked over at him "Oh yeah, you start going to school today" Ayuko said "Yeah, I''m going to head off now" Natsuki said as he made for the front door before Ayuko said anything else but before he walked through the door "You look even more like Shuji with that uniform on" Ayuko said Natsuki stopped reaching for the door knob he bit his lip and he walked out the door saying nothing Natsuki walked out Ayuko''s house and started on his way down the street the school he was going to be attending was really far from Ayuko''s house he knew he could get Ayuko to drive him but he chose to walk so he''d be away from her.


    As he walked down the street of his fathers old neighborhood he could see images of his father walking the same path Natsuki walked in silence as he passed some houses he could feal people giving him angry looks did his father piss all these people off while he lived here and now that he was here they thought he would be the same "I''m not my fathers son" Natsuki said to himself he may look like his father but he was going to make it his mission that he didn''t become like him feeling the eyes on him Natsuki started running as to get out of the line of sight when he no longer felt anyone staring daggers at him he slowed down and walked the rest of the way to school it was a good thing he studied a map of the town or he''d be lost "What did my father do while he lived here?" Natsuki wondered as he made his way to his new school it took him several hours and walking many blocks to get to his new school when he finally got to the front gate he stopped. He was standing just outside the school his father attended while he stood at the enterance he saw images of his father walking in and out of the school Natsuki walked in and headed inside he got looks from other students as he was the new transfer student "Hey is that the new student?" Natsuki heard a female student ask one of her friends "Yeah,I  overheard the teachers talking about him!" her friend responded "They say his father was a trouble maker when he was here" another of her friends said "They say his father was a playboy!" another female student said "Ugh..Do you think he''ll be the same?" another female student said Natsuki felt like he was being punched in the gut he just got here and already people were juding him based on his father Natsuki continued on his way tuning out all the whispers he heard.


    He made his way to the techers room and went inside when he walke in a women teacher looked up at him "Yes? Can I help you?" she asked "Yes, I''m Natsuki Yoichiro" Natsuki said "Oh yes, the new student, I was waiting for you" the women teacher said and she got up from her desk and walked over to him she was a really young looking women who looked to be in her twentys she had light brown hair that was tied up in a bun and she had dark brown eyes "The other treachers have been telling me about your father" the women teacher said Natsuki felt his heart sink "They say I should keep an eye on you so you don''t make any trouble" the women teacher said Natsuki said nothing even the teachers were judging him because of his father "But I don''t believe that" the women teacher said Natsuki perked up "What?" he said a bit taken aback "I don''t believe that you''ll be a bad student just because your father was" the women teacher said Natsuki felt a sense of relief flood over him "Thank you" Natsuki said "For what?" the women teacher said "Your the first person to say that to me" Natsuki said "Everbody that sees me assumes that since I look exactly like him I''ll act just like him" Natsuki said "They all believe I''ll turn out like him" he said with a sad tone "Oh, you poor thing" the women teacher said "To have people constantly judge you like that without getting to know you" the women teacher said Natsuki smiled "Thank you that means a lot to me" he said the women teacher smiled back "Oh silly me I haven''t introcuded myself" the women teacher said "I''m Sukiko, Sukiko Nagi " the women teacher introduced herself "And belive it or not I''m your homeroom teacher" Sukiko-sensei said extending her hand "Oh, well hello Sukiko-sensei" Natsuki said shaking her hand "Please, the other students call me Nagi-sensei" Sukiko-sensei said "But Sukiko-sensei sounds better to me" Natsuki said "Oh, well then you may call me Sukiko-sensei if you like" Sukiko-sensei said "Then I''ll call you Natsuki-kun" she said Natsuki nodded in agreement.


    Sukiko-sensei smiled "Alright, why don''t you wait in here until the bell rings Natsuki-kun" Sukiko-sensei said "Then I''ll bring you to your homeroom class" Sukiko-sensei said "Yes Sukiko-sensei" Natsuki said and he found a open chair and sat down while Sukiko-sensei sat back down at the desk she was sitting at when he walked in and she started looking over some paper Natsuki sat still as he waited for the bell to ring he made glances at Sukiko-sensei "Wow, she''s really beautiful.." Natsuki said to himself as he gazed at his new homeroom teacher suddenly Natsuki realized something he was oggoling his teacher like his father oggoled attractive women he couldn''t belive it he was acting just like his father "I''m not like him.." Natsuki told himself there was no way he was going to act like his father Natsuki turned in his chair so he wouldn''t see Sukiko-sensei "I''m not like him!" he shouted at himself. Natsuki sat facing away from Sukiko-sensei for a while before the bell rang Sukiko-sensei looked up "Ready to go?" she asked looking at him Natsuki looked her way and nodded Sukiko-sensei smiled and she got up from the desk and walked over to him "If you''d please fallow me" Sukiko-sensei said Natsuki nodded and stood up and fallowed Sukiko-sensei to his homeroom class when they arrived at her classroom Sukiko-sensei stopped and turned to him "Now, you wait out here I''ll call you in a bit" Sukiko-sensei said "Okay" Natsuki said and he stayed put while Sukiko-sensei walked into class leaving the door open Natsuki propped himself up on the wall around the door "Good morning class" Sukiko-sensei said Natsuki could hear everything she was saying from out in the hall "As you know as of today we have a new student joining us today" Sukiko-sensei said Natsuki felt his heart pound as he knew Sukiko-sensei was talking about him Natsuki was nervous this was his first time transfering schools the class erupted into noise "Settle down" Sukiko-sensei said and she looked to the door where she left Natsuki "You can come in now" Sukiko-sensei said Natsuki new that was his cue to walk in he slowly walked into the classroom and to the front and he stopped next to Sukiko-sensei''s desk and faced the class everyone of the students in the class focused there eyes on him he saw some girls going gaga over him in the back "Please introduce yourself to the class" Sukiko-sensei said Natsuki nodded "Hello, My name Natsuki Yoichiro" Natsuki said with a bow "Anything else you want to say Natsuki-kun?" Sukiko-sensei asked "No, not really" Natsuki said thats when a girl rushed into the room panting and wheezing as she caught her breath she was a short girl maybe just a few inches shorter then Natsuki she had curly long blonde hair and when she looked up she revealed a pair of eyes that were a mix of green and blue "Sorry I''m late Nagi-sensei!" the girl said looking at Sukiko-sensei "Ah, Yuma-chan late again I see" Sukiko-sensei said looking over at the girl "Ah, sorry I lost track of time while I was eating" the girl said "Well then Yuma-chan its a good thing you decided to join us" Sukiko-sensei said "Why is that Nagi-sensei?" the girl asked "You almost missed meeting the new transfer student" Sukiko-sensei said "New transfer student?"the girl said Sukiko-sensei motioned to Natsuki who was still standing in the front of the room by her desk the girl looked over at him "Oh my, hello" the girl said "I''m Yuma Souchiro" the girl said introducing herself "Oh, nice to me you Yuma-chan" Natsuki said "My names Natsuki Yoichiro" Natsuki said extending his hand upon hearing his name Yuma looked at him with a look a familiarence "Nat-kun.." Yuma said "Excuse me?" Natsuki said "Nat-kun.." Yuma said again Natsuki had no idea what this girl Yuma was talking about "Nat-kun!" Yuma shouted and before Natsuki knew it Yuma a girl he just met hugged him tightly Natsuki became flustered "Woah What the heck!" Natsuki gasped "Nat-kun! It''s been so long!" Yuma shouted happily "Now we can keep our promise!" Yuma said looking up at Natsuki "Promise?" Natsuki said having no idea what Yuma was talking about "That we become lovers!" Yuma said Natsuki froze for a seond before he resonde with "What!?" he shouted Yuma just giggled and laughed as she kept hugging him tightly. [End of Ch.1]

 Chapter 2: A Girl & A Promise?

    Natsuki just stood flabergasted as Yuma hugged him and giggled like crazy her face was alight with red "My my" Sukiko-sensei said "Do you perhaps know Yuma-chan Natsuki-kun?" Sukiko-sensei asked "No, I''ve never met her in my life!" Natsuki yelled "Aw, come on Nat-kun of course you know me!" Yuma teased looking up at him with dreamy eyes "No! I mean it! I''ve never seen you before in my life!" Natsuki said "Come on Nat-kun there''s no need to be shy!" Yuma smiled "I''m not being shy! I really don''t know you!" Natsuki said "Now let me go!" he said Yuma released Natsuki from her hug "Nat-kun what are you saying of course you know me" Yuma said "No I don''t I would remember if I met a girl like you" Natsuki said Yuma looked at Natsuki with a sad face "You..you really don''t remember me?" Yuma asked "No I never knew you to begin with until just a moment ago!" Natsuki said Yuma sniffled "That can''t be I remeber you clearly!" she said. Natsuki sighed "Well I don''t know you so you must have me confused with someone else" he said "No, It''s you Nat-kun I wouldn''t mistake you for the world!" Yuma said "Look, I just moved into town I don''t need any trouble brought onto me" Natsuki said if Ayuko found out on his first day as a transfer stundent a girl he never met before hugged him and said they promised to be lovers "N..Nat-kun.." Yuma whimpered  "Stop calling me that I never met you in my life" Natsuki said "Where do I sit?" he asked looking at Sukiko-sensei who didn''t say anything for a bit then when she realized Natsuki was looking at her she looked at him "Oh yes! Uhm...Your the second to last desk on the row by the windows" Sukiko-sensei said "Thank you" Natsuki said and he walked off to his seat "Nat-kun" Yuma said Natsuki ignored the girl when he walked down the row of desks to his he heard the other students talking about him. "Agh, man what a jerk!" a female student said "That was so mean!" another said "What a bastard" a male student said "Poor Yuma-chan" another said  Natsuki bit his lip and continued to his seat he sat down and put his stuff down not even a second since he sat down he felt angry eyes on him and he groaned Yuma still stood at the front of the room trying to process what just happened "Uhm..Yuma-chan take your seat I need to start class" Sukiko-sensei said "Y..Yes Nagi-sensei" Yuma said in a sad tone and she went sit down at her desk Sukiko sensei could feel the tense air in the classroom and she laughed nervously "Okay..Let''s get started shall we?" Sukiko said and she turned to the board and started on the first lesson of the day a few seconds into it Natsuki looked around the classroom while he did he saw some of the other students look away to avoid eye contact. Natsuki''s eyes fell on Yuma who was two rows over from him to the classroom door a really sad look on her face "What a werid way to start my first day at a new school" Natsuki said to himself never before had he had a girl he never met before run up to him and hug him "What the hell was she saying about a promise?" he asked himself remebering Yuma mentioned a promise they made "She said we promised to become lovers" he said Natsuki turned forward and scratched his head "Agh! There has to be a mistake!" he said "I would remeber if I met a girl like her before!" he told himself he then looked back at Yuma "But..she seemed so sure about knowing me.." he said "No..there''s no way even if it''s true.." he said sadly "Ayuko would never allow it" he said in a somber tone and he looked away from Yuma and faced forward. Later in the school day a good ways into the fourth lesson of the day a bell rang "Ah, that''s the lunch bell" Sukiko-sensei said she put her marker down and she turned and faced the class "Natsuki-kun" she called "Yes Sukiko-sensei?" Natsuki said "Since your new you should know that that bell ment it''s time for lunch" Sukiko-sensei said  "Oh, thank you for telling me" Natsuki bowed his head in thanks "Don''t mention it" Sukiko-sensei said "Well, I''ll be back once lunch is over" Sukiko-sensei said with a smile and she walked out the classroom she left the door open so students could leave the room after she left the classroom came alive with movement as students moved desks together and some made their way to the cafetiria "Huh..What should I do for lunch?" Natsuki asked himself he didn''t bring a lunch from home and if he wanted to neither him nor Ayuko could cook. Natsuki got up from his desk "I guess there''s only one option left" he said to himself and he walked to the door he could feel the percing stares of other students as he made his way to the door "Would you fucking quit that already" he said to himself as he looked at the students that were left in the classroom he groaned and looked away and walked out the door Natsuki however had no idea that Yuma had been watching him "I know it''s you Nat-kun it just had to be" she said to herself and she got up and walked to the door and walked out. Natsuki made his way down the hall "Ah crap" he cursed as he wandered the hallway he had forgotten that he was at a new school which he had no idea where everything was "Maybe I should have asked Sukiko-sensei where the cafetiria was" he said with a sigh all of a sudden Natsuki could feel like he was being fallowed he looked back but he saw no one "Huh..could have sworn" he said but his senses were right Yuma was hiding behind a wall "Did he see me?" she asked herself she peeked out from behind the wall


    and saw Natsuki looking in every direction "Guess it was my imagination" he said and he continued walking Yuma wiped her forehead "Phew, that was close" she said in relief but then she got back into mission mode her mission was to fallow Natsuki and she came out from behind the wall and started fallowing him again. As Natsuki continued on his way down the hall he was getting even more lost "Ah..where the hell is the cafetiria?" he groaned holding his stomach he hadn''t eaten breakfast as he was fuming over what Ayuko had said earlier in the morning "That''ll teach me to skip breakfast" he said Natsuki walked a bit longer but he was no where near the cafetiria "Agh..screw this" he said and he stopped but his stomach growled at him to continue searching "I''m going back to class" he said to his stomach and he turned and started walking but when he made it a few inches down the hallway two boys standing up against the walls of the hallway spotted him and smiled and walked his way when he saw them Natsuki scowled "Agh..here we go" he said and he stopped allowing the two boys to meet up with him "Well if it isn''t the new transfer student" a boy with short black hair said "What do you want?"Natsuki said "Woah woah! No need to be hostle" the short black haired boy said "Yeah, we just want to talk with you" a boy with shoulder length brown hair said Natsuki knew for a fact the two boys didn''t just want to talk with him "What do you really want?" Natsuki asked  "Slow down let''s introduce ourselves" the short black haired boy said "I''m Toru Shizuma" the black haired boy said "And I''m Mizuki Asuhiya" the brown haired boy said "Nice to meet you I''m-" Natsuki said but he was stopped by Toru "We know who you are" he said Natsuki bit his lip "Your Natsuki Soichiro the new transfer student" Mizuki said at that moment Yuma had caught up to Natsuki when she saw Toru and Mizuki standing in front of him she ducked behind the wall "Toru-kun and Mizuki-kun?" she said looking out from behind the wall looking at the two boys standing in front of Natsuki. The two of them where boys who confessed their feelings to her during the school year she had turned them down saying she already had someone which they accepted and they became friends with Yuma "What are they doing?" she asked herself and she listened to what they were saying "Your the one that Yuma-chan was waiting for this whole time" Toru said scowling at Natsuki "Is that what this is about?" Natsuki said "Shut up! Yuma-chan was waiting for you! And when she finally meets you you go and say you have no idea who she was" Mizuki shouted "Look I really have no idea who she is" Natsuki said "Now, If that''s all I''ll be heading back to my class now" he said and he started to walk off "Not so fast!" Toru shouted and both he and Mizuki stepped in front of Natsuki who clicked his tounge in annoyance he tried to go around them but they moved in his way each and every time "Would you stop this shit" Natsuki said. Toru and Mizuki gritted their teeth "You think your so cool?" Toru said "What?" Natsuki said "Coming to this school and breaking the heart of a girl who was waiting for you" Toru said "What kind of bastard are you?" Mizuki said Natsuki grimmaced "What kind of bastards are you?" he asked Toru and Mizuki growled in anger "You smartass" Toru said "You think we don''t know who you are?" Mizuki said "What?" Natsuki said with a angry tone "Your father is Shuji Soichiro" Mizuki said Natsuki bit his lip at the mere mention of his fathers name "Ah, that cut you down to size?" Mizuki smirked "My dad knew yours back in the day" he said "He told me all about how your dad went after pretty girl after pretty girl" he chuckled "Shut up.." Natsuki said "What? does it hurt?" Mizuki smirked looking at Toru "You must be just like you father then" Toru said Natsuki felt his anger rise "Shut up.." he said "Your just like your girl chasing old man" Mizuki laughed "Shut up.." Natsuki said grinding his teeth. Back behind the wall Yuma watched as Toru and Mizuki laughed and taunted Natsuki "Nat-kun.." she said looking at Natsuki''s face which was looking down at the ground "You must have girls all over for all we know" Toru laughed "Shut up...Shut up..Shut up..." Natsuki growled "Your just a piece of shit like your father" Mizuki said "Poor Yuma-chan fell for a scumbag like you" Mizuki said with a grin Natsuki snapped he heard enough he walked up to Mizuki and stopped in front of him "What? Got something to say?" Mizuki laughed "I''m not like my father" Natsuki said "What was that?" Mizuki said Natsuki clenched his fist "I''m not like my father!!" he shouted and he looked up at Mizuki with menacing eyes and pulled his arm back and his fist flew right into Mizuki''s face making a solid impact echoed through the hall Mizuki fell back and reached for his face screaming in pain "Mizuki!" Toru shouted kneeling down beside Mizuki "Agh..it hurts" Mizuki groaned holding his face Toru gritted his teeth and he looked up and glared at Natsuki "Why you!" he shouted and he rushed at Natsuki and hit him in the cheek but Natsuki didn''t go down. Natsuki put his fists up and he threw another punch and got Toru in the side of his abdomen Toru got winded he gasped for breath for a bit before he got it back and he swung at Natsuki who took the punch to the abdomen Natsuki grabbed his abdomen and grimmaced at Toru he then took his hand away from his abdomen and he swung back at Toru twice catching him in the face and his abdomen again Toru stumbled back but he didn''t go down "Bastard"! Toru shouted and he stepped towards Natsuki and swung Natsuki got hit in the chest and fallowed by a blow to the face and to the stomach Natsuki went to his knees "Shit!" he cursed blood dripped from his lip as he glared up at Toru but before he could get back up on his feet Toru swung his leg and it connected with the side of Natsuki''s head and he was sent falling to the side "Want more bastard!?" Toru shouted as Natsuki layed on the floor groaning in pain he then slowly started to get up he looked up at Toru with angry eyes "I guess you do" Toru said prepared to go another round not being able to take anymore Yuma rushed out from behind the wall she was hiding behind. She rushed over towards Natsuki "Stop it!" Yuma yelled Toru looked back and saw Yuma running towards them "Yuma-chan!?" Toru gasped putting his fists down Yuma stopped when she saw Natsuki slowly and weakly getting up off the floor she then glared at Toru "What the hell was that for!" she shouted "Yuma-chan let me explain!" Toru said "Explain what!? That you beat the crap out of him!" she shouted Toru shrunk back "Why the hell did you and Mizuki do this!" she shouted "We heard how he made as if he didn''t know you when you two met" Toru said "And how sad you were" he added "You didn''t have to do this because of that!" Yuma shouted "But Yuma he-" Toru started "I don''t care Toru! You didn''t have to do this!" Yuma shouted "Yuma-chan you still care for this guy even after what he did to you!" Toru shouted "You bet your ass I do!" Yuma said "Why!? He broke your heart!" Toru shouted "No he didn''t!" Yuma shouted Toru''s eyes widened Natuski groaned as he got up off the ground "Nat-kun!" Yuma gasped and she ran over to him and grabbed him "Huh..What?" Natsuki said and he looked at Yuma in that spilt second Natsuki didn''t know whether it was the blows to the head or just the familliar moment but a flash image of a younger girl that looked just like Yuma appeared. Natsuki looked at Yuma for a bit then suddenly it came flooding into his mind a memory of when he was a kid it was when his mother and father were still together and they went and spent the days of summer at Ayuko''s house he remebered he would go outside by himself while his mother and father spent time with Ayuko one day he met a girl and after that meeting the two of them played each and every day that Natsuki stayed in Shujaku for the summer then when it came time for him to go back home he met the girl one last time the girl then confessed to him that she liked him and then he revealed that he liked her back Natsuki then promised the girl that when they met up again the two of them would be lovers the girl nodded and smiled but then it was after being back home that the events with his father cheating on his mother happened and that''s when Natsuki''s hatred of his father started and he blocked out all memories of time he spent with his father which inadvertantly made him forget that promise he made so long ago. After the memory faded his face showed sudden realization "Yu-chan?" Natsuki said Yuma almost lost it "Nat-kun.." she said "Yu-chan is that you?" Natsuki asked Yuma''s eyes watered "Yes! Oh, Nat-kun you finally remeber me!" Yuma smiled happily Natsuki smiled apologeticaly "I''m so sorry Yu-chan I can''t believe my hatred of my father made me forget my promise with you" Natsuki said Yuma smiled "I fogive you Nat-kun" Yuma said "Yu-chan" Natsuki smiled and he grabbed Yuma in a hug "Yu-chan!" he cried hugging her tighter Yuma hugged him back "Oh Nat-kun I''m so glad you finally remember me!" Yuma cried as she nuzzled Natsuki''s chest Natsuki pushed Yuma back and looked at her "You''ve really gotten beautiful Yu-chan" Natsuki said "Th..Thanks" Yuma smiled blushing "Nat-kun?" Yuma asked "What is it Yu-chan?" Natsuki asked. Yuma smiled "Does this mean we can keep our promise?" Yuma asked Natsuki was about to answer when he remebered Ayuko''s rules he was about to say no when a thought crossed his mind "Why should I listen to a women who dosen''t even show any concern for me?" he asked  himself and he looked at Yuma once more seeing her smiling face and shining green and blue eyes "I don''t care if Ayuko gets angry" he said he closed his eyes and took a breath and he looked at Yuma with a smile on his face "Yes, Yu-chan,we can keep our promise" Natsuki said Yuma smiled and she grabbed Nastuki in a hug again and she cried "Oh Nat-kun I''m so happy!" she said "So am I Yu-chan" Natsuki said hugging her back Yuma looked up at Natsuki and smiled and he smiled back at her as they held each other "Ahem.." Toru coughed Yuma and Natsuki looked at him "So..Uh.." he stuttered he rubbed the back of his head "I''m sorry!" he bowed "I''m so sorry about what we and Mizuki did!" Toru apologized he stood straight and looked at Natsuki "Can you forgive me for what I did to you?" Toru asked Natsuki remebered what Toru and Mizuki did to him but then he remeber he was holding Yuma he looked down and saw her smiling face and he looked back up at Toru "Yeah..It''s maybe thanks to the blows in the head you gave me" Natsuki smiled and looked down at Yuma "That I was able to remeber my promise with Yu-chan" he said "Oh Nat-kun!" Yuma squelled happily and hugged him really tight "Ouch!Yu-chan too tight!" Natsuki groaned in pain realizing she was hurting Natsuki she loosened her grip "I''m sorry Nat-kun you just made me so happy!" Yuma said with an apologetic face "It''s fine I don''t care about any pain now that I''ve remebered you" Natsuki said Yuma blushed and smiled "Nat-kun.." she said softly and she lifted herself up and kissed Natsuki on the lips Natsuki didn''t fight it he kissed her back "Ahem lovebirds! People are staring" Toru coughed Natsuki and Yuma blushed and stopped kissing  and looked at Toru "Now I know you two are all happy right now but" Toru said "What?" Natsuki asked "There''s a teacher coming this way" Toru said pointing down the hall sure enough there was a teacher running towards them "Alright what''s going on here!" he shouted getting closer "Ah crap" Natsuki said at that moment Mizuki got up off the ground his face still twinging in pain from Natsuki''s punch "Agh..this stings!" he said and he looked at Nastuki and saw him holding Yuma in his arms "Hey what do you think your doing!?" Mizuki yelled "Chill Mizuki! He''s cool! Besides we got a bigger problem!" Toru said pointing towards the teacher coming towards them "Ah fuck.." Mizuki cursed seeing the teacher "We''re in for it now" he sighed a few seconds later Natsuki, Yuma, Toru, and Mizuki were in the princibal''s office they got yelled at for fighting at school and Natsuki, Toru, and Mizuki were given detention. The four of them walked out the princibals office after getting an earful "Ah man that old man sure can yell your ears off" Mizuki said the others agreeded with him at that moment Natsuki''s stomach growled "Oh crap..I forgot I haven''t eaten lunch yet.." he said "I was looking for the cafetira before you two got in my way" he sighed "Sorry man" Toru said "Yeah, sorry" Mizuki said the Nastuki figured something out "Hey where''s the-" he started to ask but at that time the bell rang "Well guess it''s back to class" Mizuki said "What!?" Nastuki gasped and his stomach cried out for food he held his empty stomach "That can''t be" he cried "Sorry again!" Toru said rushing off back to his class "See you in detention!" Mizuki shouted running off as well waving back at Nastuki and Yuma "Seeya.." Nastuki sighed Yuma giggled lightly "You hungry Nat-kun?" Yuma asked Natsuki''s stomach answered for him "I''ll take that as a yes" Yuma smiled and she reached into her skirt pocket and pulled out some riceballs "Here" she said handing them to him "Thank you Yu-chan"! Natsuki smiled happily taking the riceball from Yuma "Where and when did you get these!" Nastuki asked tearing one of them open. Yuma smiled "Oh I was fallowing you the whole time and knew you must have been looking for the cafetria" she said "So, I picked these up for you incase you were having no luck finding it" Yuma said "Am I ever glad you were!" Natsuki said and he tore into the riceballs in a second flat he had them both gone "Ah..Thanks" Nastuki said with a smile of gratitude. Yuma smiled "Don''t mention it!" she said Nastuki smiled back still unable to belive that the beautiful women in front of him was the girl he met so long ago "We should get back to class ourselves"Yuma said "Ah, yeah your right" Nastuki said and they started walking but it was more Natsuki following Yuma down the hall Yuma glanced over at Natsuki "Uhm..Nat-kun?"she said "Yeah, what is it Yu-chan?" Natsuki said looking at her "Uhm..since we''re lovers now.." Yuma paused as her face flushed bright red "Is it okay if we.." she paused again "If we what?" Nastuki asked Yuma blushed harder "If..We hold hands" she said looking sheepishly Natsuki blushed "Ah..Uh..." he stuttered "Sure" he said and he held his hand out to Yuma who smiled "Th..Thanks" she said and she took his hand in hers and they walked down the hall and back to class.  Chapter 3: Keeping The Promise & Confrontation!

    It was later in the day at school and classes were just beginning to wrap up for the day Natsuki looked around the classroom and his eyes focused on Yuma who was looking down at her notebook writing the notes that were on the board into it Natsuki smiled "I still can''t believe that''s Yu-chan" Natsuki said to himself he remembered how Yuma looked when she was younger her hair wasn''t as long as it was now and she was always shorter then him but now she was about half his height and she looked like a women now more then anything at that moment Yuma turned her head and saw that Natsuki was looking at her when he saw her look at him Natsuki smiled and gave a small wave Yuma smiled and waved back and she went back to copying notes. Natsuki looked down at his desk he chuckled to himself he still couldn''t get over the fact he had a girlfriend now it still hadn''t clicked in his mind yet Natsuki felt a throbbing in his head "Agh.." he groaned holding his head he was starting to feal the effect of Toru''s blows to the head "My head is killing me.." he groaned again "I gotta remember not to get Toru mad again" he smiled and then he remembered that he had detention after school ended "Agh..what a time to have a headache" Natsuki groaned as his head throbbed again.


    Sukiko-sensei had turned around from the board and saw Natsuki''s pained expression on his face "Natsuki-kun are you okay?" Sukiko-sensei asked "I just have a nasty headache sensei" Natsuki said "Oh, then do you want to go to the nurse?" Sukiko-sensei asked "I guess.." Natsuki said "Hm..school will be over soon do you really want to go now?" Sukiko-sensei asked Natsuki nodded he needed to get rid of his pounding headache "Well okay, you may go" Sukiko-sensei said "Thank you sensei" Natsuki said then a thought popped into Sukiko-sensei''s head "Oh yes, you might not know where the nurses office is" Sukiko-sensei said "Your right I don''t" Natsuki said "Okay then anyone want to show Natsuki-kun the way to the nurse?" Sukiko-sensei asked none of the students weren''t in a rush to say yes. Sukiko-sensei looked around the room then she saw a hand shoot up and she stopped on it to her surprise it was Yuma "Yuma-chan?" Sukiko-sensei said "I''ll take him sensei" Yuma said "Are you sure?" Sukiko-sensei asked Yuma looked over at Natsuki "I''m okay with it" he smiled Yuma smiled and looked at Sukiko-sensei and nodded "Well then Yuma-chan please show Natsuki-kun to the nurses office" Sukiko-sensei said Yuma nodded and looked at Natsuki "Fallow me Nat-kun" Yuma said "Okay" Natsuki said and Yuma walked out from her row as did Natsuki and he fallowed behind her.


    The two of them made their way down the hall "You didn''t have to do this you know" Natsuki said "But I wanted to" Yuma said looking back at Natsuki "Besides none of the others were going to do it" Yuma said "They still must hate me after what I did this morning" Natsuki said it still wasn''t know to others that Natsuki and Yuma were now a couple Natsuki frowned at that moment he felt Yuma''s hand slip into his "Yu-chan" he said looking up at her his face lighting up "You want to know the other reason why I choose to do this?" Yuma asked "Sure why?" Natsuki asked with a smile "So I could have sometime with you alone" Yuma smiled Natsuki''s face flushed red "Oh, I see" he said in that split second his head throbbed in pain and he pulled his hand out from Yuma''s and held his head "Agh..this head of mine.." Natsuki groaned Yuma stopped and Natsuki bumped into her back.


    "Yu-chan?" Natsuki said "What''s wrong?" he asked Yuma tunred around and put her face into his chest "I''m sorry" she said "What? What do you need to be sorry for Yu-chan?" Natsuki asked "It''s my fault you got so beat up" Yuma said "What do you mean?" Natsuki sked "Toru and Mizuki were two boys that confessed their feelings for me" Yuma said "They were" Natsuki said "Yeah, but because I remembered our promise to each other I rejected both of them" Yuma said "When I told them why I couldn''t accept their feelings they understood and they became good friends to me" she said "So the reason the messed with me was" Natsuki said "Yeah, they must have heard about what happened this morning and they.." Yuma paused Natsuki smiled and placed his hand on Yuma''s head "You don''t have to be sorry for that Yu-chan" Natsuki said "I was a jerk to you and they were looking out for you" he said "But you said that was because you blocked out some memories" Yuma said looking up at him "But they didn''t know that" Natsuki said "You''ve got some good friends Yu-chan" Natsuki said "I do don''t I" Yuma said "If it weren''t for them you wouldn''t have remembered our promise" Yuma smiled.


    Natsuki smiled "Your right, I''ll have alot of time later to get to thank them" he said "Oh yeah..You got detention later today with them" Yuma said "I hope Mizuki-kun isn''t still sour about you hitting him in the face" Yuma said "I hope so too" Natsuki said with a sigh his head throbbed and his face twinged in pain "Lets get you to the nurses office" Yuma smiled "That would be great" Natsuki grinned Yuma took his hand and they walked down the hallway to the nursed office when they arrived Yuma brought Natsuki inside the nurse was at her desk "Yes, how can I help you?" the nurse asked looking at Natsuki and Yuma "I have a splitting headache right now sensei" Natsuki said "How bad is it?" the nurse asked "After getting into a fight and getting three blows to the head?" Natsuki said the nurse chuckled "That bad eh?" she said "You must be the boy that got into a fight at lunchtime" the nurse said "Yeah that''s me" Natsuki said "I was expecting you after the other two walked in" the nurse said "Toru-kun and Mizuki-kun came too?" Yuma said "Yeah, I gave them some pain killers and sent them on their way" the nurse said.


    "Come over here I''ll get you settled in a bit" the nurse said gesturing to Natsuki "Yes sensei" Natsuki said and he walked over to the nurse "Just sit on the chair right there" she said pointing to a rolling chair Natsuki nodded and sat down "You can wait outside miss" the nurse said looking at Yuma "Oh, yes sensei" Yuma said and she walked out the nurses office closing the door behind her and stood outside "Now, lets get you fixed up" the nurse said looking at Natsuki "Please this hedache is killing me" Natsuki said as his head throbbed in pain again "Okay" the nurse said and she walked over to the medicine cabinent and opened it "Is anywhere''s else hurting?" the nurse asked looking back at Natsuki "Not really it''s just my head" he answered "So, what''s your name kid?" the nurse asked "I''m Natsuki Suichiro" Natsuki answered "Su..Suichiro.." the nurse said sounding like she knew the name "Uhm..you wouldn''t happen to be related to Shuji Suichiro would you?" the nurse asked Natsuki felt his body crawl when he heard the nurse say his fathers name it made his head hurt like hell "He..he''s my father" Natsuki said "Your Shuji''s son?" the nurse said looking at him with a shocked look on her face "Yeah..but I wish I wasn''t" Natsuki said then a thought came to his mind "How do you know my father name anyway?" Natsuki asked "Well, I went to school with you father here" the nurse said "He and I were friends back in the day" the nurse said "He never mentioned me before?" the nurse asked "No..If he did I probably forgot since I blocked out any memory with my father" Natsuki said the nurse sighed "What did he do this time?" the nurse asked "What?" Natsuki asked "What did Shuji do to make his own kid hate him so much?" the nurse asked "He left my mother for a younger co-worker" Natsuki said.


    The nurse sighed loudly and long "That bastard he had a good thing going and he blows it like that" the nurse groaned "I knew it was to good to be true" she said "Uhm..who are you by the way?" Natsuki asked "Oh silly me!" the nurse said "My names Aya Yukata" the nurse said Natsuki felt something click in his head "I think my father did say something about you" Natsuki said "He did? What did he say?" Aya-sensei asked "He told me about a scary girl that made his life hell" Natsuki Aya-sensei growled "He did, did he" Aya-sensei said a hint of anger in her eyes "Uhm..What was your relationship with my-" Natsuki stopped himself he couldn''t call the man his father "What was your relationship with Shuji?" Natsuki asked "Geez, you hate him so much you want call him your father?" Aya-sensei asked "He hurt my mother I can never forgive him" Natsuki said.


    "I see, anway my relationship with Shuji" Aya-sensei said "You could say we were childhood freinds" Aya-sensei said "You and Shuji?" Natsuki said "Yep, can''t believe I''m treating his kid" Aya-sensei said "You look just like him when he was your age" Aya-sensei said Natsuki bit his lip "I don''t like being told I look like him" Natsuki said with an angry look in his eye "Man he really fucked up this time" Aya-sensei said "Was he always.." Natsuki started "Was he always a skirt chaser?" Aya-sensei asked. Natsuki nodded "Yeah, he''d go from girl after girl he never stuck with one for long" Aya-sensei said "That bastard.." Natsuki growled "Seems like he didn''t change" Aya-sensei said Natsuki said nothing the angry look he had eariler turned to a sad one Aya-sensei sighed seeing the sad look on Natsuki''s face "Sorry about bringing up the past" Aya-sensei said Natsuki said nothing "Let me get you fixed up" Aya-sensei said and she went back to rummiging through the medicne cabinent "Here we go" she said taking hold of a bottle and taking it out she walked over to Natsuki "Hold out your hand" Aya-sensei said Natsuki did as he was told "These will help with your hedache and any other pains that you may have" she said unscrewing the cap and shuffling two painkiller tablets into his hand "Thanks" Natsuki said "Don''t take the just yet" Aya-sensei said and she went put the bottle back and closed the cabinent and walked over to the sink and poured some water in a cup and she walked back over to Natsuki "Here drink some water after you swallow each one" Aya-sensei said Natsuki nodded taking the cup of water from Aya-sensei he then put one of the painkiller in his mouth he swallowed it and then after drank a bit of water he then did the same with the second one.


    "Now, it may take a while for them to kick in" Aya-sensei said taking his water cup from him poured the water down the sink and threw the cup away "Got it, thanks Aya-sensei" Natsuki said getting up from the chair "Natsuki-kun?" Aya-sensei said "Yes Aya-sensei?" Natsuki said "If you want someone to talk to you can always come to me" Aya-sensei smiled Natsuki then remeber Yuma "Don''t worry I already have someone I can talk to" Natsuki smiled "Oh, I see" Aya-sensei smiled Natsuki bowed his head in thanks and walked out the door and Yuma was standing against the wall when she heard the door open and saw Natsuki step out she came off the wall.

Yuma asked "So I can have some more alone time with you" Natsuki said with a smile Yuma blushed and nodded she took his hand and they walked the long way back to class later in the day it was after school had ended for the day Yuma was leading Natsuki to the detention room by the hand when they got to the detention room they saw Toru and Mizuki "Hey there compainion" Toru said with a wave Mizuki scoffed and looked away and walked into the room and sat down Toru laughed lightly "Is Mizuki-kun okay?" Yuma asked "Yeah,he''s just sour about the whole you two being lover situation" Toru said "And about you punching him in the face" he added looking at Natsuki "I hope that didn''t happen" Natsuki sighed.


    Toru chuckled "Well should we head in and do our time?" he said Natsuki nodded and walked past Yuma "I''ll see you tommorow Nat-kun" Yuma said "Alright Yu-chan" Natsuki said with a smile Yuma walked off but not before stopping and turning to give a wave Natsuki waved back and Yuma vanished down the hall "Come on lover boy get in here" came Mizuki''s voice from in the room "We''re coming" Toru called he looked at Natsuki and shrugged his shoulders Nastuki sighed and they walked in and they sat down when the detention teacher walked in he told them they were to stay until two minutes had passed and that they could study or just sit and wait and he sat down at the desk at the front of the room in no time flat he fell asleep "Does he even realize we could just walk out?" Natsuki said looking at the open door "We''d get more detention if we left" Toru said Nastuki sighed "Your right" Natsuki said "Just sit you butt down and wait it out lover boy" Mizuki jested Natsuki grumbled "Are you still angry about the whole me punching you in the face?" he asked Mizuki grumbled in annoyance.


    "I apologized for that several times already!" Natsuki said "You wrecked my face man" Mizuki said "I''m said sorry" Natsuki said "Oh yeah! Will sorry help me get a girl now!" Mizuki shouted the detention teacher snorted "That''s what you made about?" Nastuki asked "Yes! After Yuma-chan rejected me I started looking for a new girl!" Mizuki said "But now with my busted face I won''t be able to!" Mizuki shouted "My face was my best feature!" he added "Sorry I ruined your means to get the girls" Natsuki said with a sarcastic tone and he bowed his head Natsuki heard Toru chuckle "Smart ass" Mizuki grumbled Natsuki lifted his head Mizuki looked at him.


    "Hey tell me something" Mizuki said "What?" Natsuki asked "Are you really going to keep your promise with Yuma-chan?" Mizuki asked Natsuki answred right away "Yes, I am" Natsuki said "You won''t ever make Yuma-chan sad again will you?" Mizuki asked Natsuki had a picture of his mothers sad face when she found that his father was cheating on her and then he pictured the sad look on Yuma''s face when he said he didn''t know her "No, I swear to you I will never make or let Yu-chan get sad" Natsuki said with a serious look in his eyes Mizuki smiled when he saw that "Good, I''m sorry I said those things about you earlier" Mizuki said "I was totally out of line" he added "I accept you apology" Natsuki said "It was just..hearing how sad Yuma-chan was" Mizuki began but Natsuki cut him off "I forgive you Mizuki-kun" Natsuki said Mizuki sighed in relief "Good, but let me tell you this one time" Mizuki said "What?" Natsuki asked "If you ever do make Yu-chan sad again I''ll kick your ass myself" Mizuki said "And I won''t care how messed up my handsome face gets" Mizuki said "When was your face handsome?" Toru cut in "Toru! I was trying to be cool there!" Mizuki shouted "You were never cool so why are you trying to?" Toru said "Shut up..." Mizuki grumbled looking away.


    Toru and Natsuki laughed minuest later the three boys had moved and sat close together and they talked amongst each other all the while they served their detention time "So your saying your aunt hates your guts?" Toru said "Yeah, ever since I got here she''s given me dirty looks" Natsuki said "Man why do you live with this women?" Mizuki asked "I had to it wasn''t a choice none of my mother side of the family wanted to take me in so I was forced to go to Aunt Ayuko''s" Natsuki said "Man it must suck living in a house with a women who can''t stand your exsitence" Mizuki chimed in "Your telling me" Natsuki sighed "Why don''t you try to live on your own?" Toru said "I couldn''t I don''t have a job,and I don''t know how to cook" Natsuki said "Oh that''s simple" Toru said "What do you mean?" Nastuki asked.


    "There''s a place I went to recently that need workers" Toru said "Re..Really!?" Nastuki said "Yeah, and I hear the pays good" Toru said "That solves my job problem" Natsuki said "But what about cooking how is that solved?" Natsuki asked "Why simple of course" Toru said "You have a cook right under your nose" he said "Can one of you cook?" Natsuki asked "Not us! Yuma-chan!" Mizuki shouted "What, Yu-chan can cook?" Natsuki said in surprise "Yeah, we had some of her cooking before and it''s amazing!" Toru said "Your lucky that you have Yuma-chan as your girlfriend" he added "Wow, I would never have guessed Yu-chan learned how to cook" Nastuki said "Why does that surprise you?" Mizuki asked "Well, when we were kids Yu-chan tried to cook for me and she kinda messed up" Natsuki said after he remebered his promise with Yuma all of the things that he did with her back then came flooding back "You mean you had Yuma-chan''s cooking way before us!" Mizuki shuouted "Jelous?" Natsuki smirked "Lucky bastard" Mizuki grumbled Natsuki chuckled "Thanks for the infromation you guys" Natsuki said "Hey, we have to look out for Yuma-chan''s boyfriend or she''d get mad at us" Toru said "Thanks" Nastuki said with a smirk it was minutes after that their detention time together ended.


    Natsuki, Toru, and Mizuki were staring at the teacher still asleep at his desk snoring loudly "We should wake him up I want to go home" Mizuki said "Okay then you go do it" Toru said pointing at Mizuki "Why me!? Why don''t you do it!" Mizuki argued "Because I didn''t go down so easily " Toru said with a smirk referring to how Mizuki went down fairly quickly and easily after Natsuki hit him in the face "Your the one that cause us to be in here!" Mizuki argued Natsuki grumbled in annoyance as Toru and Mizuki went back and forth with ech other "Sensei! It''s time for us to go!" Natsuki shouted as loudly as he could that woke the teacher up "Huh..what?" he snorted as he shot up from the desk "Detention''s over sensei can we leave now?" Natsuki asked the detention teacher looked up at the clock and it showed two hours had passed "So it is, then you boy are free to go" he said "Thank you sensei" Natsuki said as he got up Toru and Mizuki fallowed suit "Just make sure you boys don''t end up back here" the detention teacher said "Yes sensei" the three boys answered together and they walked out the room.


    The three of them walked down the hall to the exit of the school "Thanks Natsuki-kun if we had kept aruging we''d be stuck there even later" Toru said "Don''t mention it besides I want to get home as soon as possible" Nastuki said "Why''s that?" Mizuki asked "So I can stick it to my bitch of an aunt" Natsuki said "You go dude!" Toru said as they walked out the school the three of them walked down the road away from the school "Well I''m going this way" Natsuki said as they reaced a fork in the road "Oh, then see ya tommorow Nastuki-kun" Toru said "Yeah okay whatever lets get home Toru" Mizuki said walking off in the opposite direction of the way Natsuki was going "Right, don''t mind him you''ll get use to him after a while" Toru said Natsuki nodded and he parted ways with them when he got back to Ayuko''s house she was already standing in the doorway waiting for him with an angry look on his face "I got a call from the school princibal" Ayuko said "You did?" Natsuki said playing dumb "He told me you got into a fight with some other boys" Ayuko scowled crossing her arms "Yeah, I kinda did" Nastuki said finding no reason to lie since he was about to tell Ayuko off "What did I say about causing trouble?" Ayuko said "Do you want me to kick you out?" Ayuko asked "Why should I listen to you?" Natsuki asked "What did you just say?" Ayuko asked "I said why should I listen to you" Nastuki said "You don''t show me any sort of respect at all" he said "You put me down every chance you get" he shouted "Why you, is that anyway to talk to the one who took you in?" Ayuko growled.


    "You didn''t choose to take me in you were forced to!" Nastuki shouted "You don''t care about me you hate me because I look like Shuji!" Nastuki shouted "And I don''t think I should listen to a women who looks at me with disgusted eyes" Nastuki said and Yuma popped into his head "I have a women who will look at me with loving eyes and sees me for who I am and not who I look like" he added "You have a women you say?" Ayuko said "Yeah, and I don''t care what you say I''m not like Shuji I won''t make her sad  or hurt her" Nastuki said "I''ll be a better man than my scumbag father" Natsuki said Ayuko was silent Natsuki was waiting for her to say something she sighed and looked at him "Are you finished?"she asked looking like she wasn''t even affected by what Natsuki said "So, let me get this staright you broke two of the three rules I gave you in one day" Ayuko said.


    "Yeah, what about it" Nastuki said "That means I can kick you out right now if I wanted to" Ayuko said "Do it then" Nastuki said Ayuko seemed to be a bit surprised by Natsuki''s response "You really want me to kick you out you have no place to go and you don''t have any money or a job to live on your own plus you can''t even cook for yourself" Ayuko said "I learned about a place that''s looking for workes and the pays good" Nastuki said Ayuko seemed to be pushed back "But you can''t cook for yourself" Ayuko smirked "My girlfriend knows how to cook" Nastuki said "Gi..Girlfriend" Ayuko said "Yeah, I have a girlfriend and she''s a more kindhearted women then you are" Nastuki said "You.." Ayuko growled angrily "You don''t intimidate me any longer Aunt Ayuko" Nastuki said "Why you" Ayuko growled and she raised her hand and she slapped Nastuki across the face and smiled. [Ch.3 END]

 Chapter 4: The Truth & A Decision

    Nastuki looked back at Ayuko with an angry look in his eyes "You don''t intmidate me Ayuko" Nastuki said Ayuko clikced her tounge "Fine then you can just leave now" Ayuko said "Gladly" Natsuki said and he walked passed Ayuko when Nastuki passed her Ayuko looked at Natsuki and her eyes widened "Shu..Shuji-nii" Ayuko whispered Natsuki was able to her it a bit "Did you say something?" Nastuki said looking back at her Ayuko looked at Nastuki''s face and she had a case of dejavu as the image of her brother overlapped with Natsuki at that moment something Natsuki didn''t expect to happen did Ayuko started to cry.


    Natsuki''s eyes softened when he saw Ayuko crying "Ayuko whats wrong?" Natsuki asked concerned "Shuji-nii please don''t leave me again" Ayuko said "Ayuko...I''m Natsuki..not Shuji" Natsuki said Ayuko wasn''t listeneing she was focused on the image of her brother overlapping with Natsuki''s but then when she looked harder at Natsuki she regained her right mind. She coughed "Get going I don''t want you here" Ayuko said the softened look in Natsuki''s eyes vanished and the angry look returned and he walked up the stairs while he packed all his things together Ayuko stood by herself "How could I lose my composure like that" Ayuko said as she bit her thumbnail "I thought I was over that" Ayuko said "Damn that boy for looking just like him" Ayuko grumbled at that moment Natsuki came back down the stairs with his suitcase the same one he arrived with "Hmm, so you were serious" Ayuko grinned Natsuki nodded.


    "Well then, get going and don''t think about trying to come back" Ayuko said as she opened the front door "I wouldn''t come back here even if it killed me" Natsuki said "Get out of here!" Ayuko shouted Natsuki clicked his tounge and went to the door he walked out but before Ayuko closed it he stopped "What''s the matter? Forget something?" Ayuko asked in annoyance "I just have one question for you" Natsuki said "And that would be?" Ayuko said "Why if you didn''t even care for me why did you say yes to my mom when she asked you if I could live here?" Natsuki asked Ayuko seemed to be floored by Natsuki''s question so much so that she just stared at him as he looked at her from outside the door.


    Natsuki waited to hear an answer to his question but Ayuko just stayed quiet "There has to be a reason why you said yes"Natsuki said Ayuko''s lips quivered "You really want to know why?" Ayuko asked Natsuki nodded Ayuko took a breath "I said yes because I thought if you were here it would be like Shuji-nii was back" Ayuko said Natsuki gritted his teeth that was the only reason his aunt allowed him to live with her his looks "I''m not like Shuji when will you people learn" Natsuki said "I wiil never be like him and nothing will change me into him" Natsuki said "That defiant nature of yours comes from your mother" Ayuko said "She never gave up when it came to getting me to say it was okay if you lived with me" she said "Don''t talk about my mother like that you no longer have the right to talk so familiarly about her" Natsuki said "Your just as bad as Shuji" Natsuki said "You lied to my mother and I can never forgive someone who does that even if their family" Natsuki said giving an angry stare.


    "Never make any contact whatsoever with my mother again or me for that matter" Natsuki said "Fine you hate me and I hate you seems fine with me can you get going now I''d like to go to sleep" Ayuko said "Tsk, sure" Nastuki said and he turned his head away and started walking down the path from the door Ayuko watched Natsuki leave staring at his back again the image of her brother leaving her showed Ayuko fought her emotions back and she slammed the door closed as to not see the image again now all alone Ayuko slid down to the floor and put her back against the door and put her head into her knees.


    "What is wrong with me" Ayuko said "I just threw my nephew out into the streets with no where to go" Ayuko said she was mad at Nastuki but as well as herself "Why did I have to act like I didn''t care for him at all" Ayuko said she had been overjoyed when Natsuki''s mother called her and asked her if she''d let Nastuki live with her but when the memories of her brother came back instead of love she showed Nastuki hate and pushed him away "It''s all because of Shuji" Ayuko said "I''m sorry Yumi-san I messed up" Ayuko said addressing Nastuki''s mother and she looked up at the ceiling she thought about running out the house to get Nastuki to come back but after the show she put on there was no way he would come back to live with her Ayuko had royaly messed up.


    Back outside Nastuki walked down the road the sun had just started to go down and soon it would be nighttime "I need to find a place to stay before night falls" Natsuki said but that was easier said then done he had no money and he didn''t know if their was anyone who''d let him stay at their house until he found his own place "Did I make a really big mistake?" Natsuki asked himself maybe he should have waited to tell Ayuko off when he had the money to live on his own instead of blowing up on her in that spontanteous moment "No, I can''t go back now, I''ve decided I''m not going to live with a women whose cares nothing for me" Nastuki said and he continued walking it wasn''t getting easier finding a place to spend the night he walked around the now night blanketed street looking around for any sign of a place he could stay at that moment his mind wander back to maybe this being a big mistake. But Natsuki knew there was no way he could go back now not after coming so far he sighed and continued to look around he saw a few motels that were open but all of them costed money to stay for the night which Natsuki did not have Natsuki was about to give up after passing the fifth pricey motel.


    "Maybe, if I go back and apologize alot Ayuko will let me stay" Natsuki said "Well, what do you know" came a famillar voice Natsuki looked and saw a famillair face "Aya-sensei" Natsuki said looking upon the school nurse he had just met not that long ago "What are you doing out so late Natsuki-kun?" Aya-sensei asked and she took notice of the suitcase he held in his hands "Where are you going?" Aya-sensei asked "Ayuko threw me out" Natsuki said "What,why did she do that!?" Aya-sensei said in surprise "I kinda told her off" Natsuki said "Why did you do something as stupid as that?" Aya-sensei asked "I decided since I''m going to keep my promise why Yu-chan that I shouldn''t live under the same roof as a women who''d be against it" Natsuki said "My, my, so I was right you and that girl you were with earlier today are together" Aya-sensei said Natsuki blushed "She''s really cute, you should really hold on to her Natsuki-kun" Aya-sensei said "I intend to" Natsuki said.

Natsuki asked "As a matter of fact I do" Aya-sensei said "You do! Where can I find this place!?" Natsuki said with hope "It''s my place, come on you can spend the night at my apartment" Aya-sensei said Natsuki paused "Are you sure about that?" Natsuki asked "Why? Are you unhappy getting to spend the night at a sexy older womens home?" Aya-sensei asked "That''s exactly what I''m worried about!" Natsuki said.


    "I''m a student and your a staff member of the school I go to woudln''t that be bad for both of us if it were found out we spent the night together!" Natsuki said his face red "My my, your definatley not like Shuji" Aya-sensei said Natsuki growled "Sorry! Anyway I don''t think you''ll find anyone or anywhere''s else you can stay for the night" Aya-sensei said Natsuki swallowed hard "So, you have two choiced either come home with me or spend the night camping under the stars" Aya-sensei said  with a smirk Natsuki sighed Aya-sensei had him in a tight spot he then weighed his options "Tick tock Natsuki-kun" Aya-sensei said "If you don''t answer now I''ll just leave you here" Aya-sensei said Natsuki grumbled "Fine! I''ll stay the night at your place alright!" Natsuki shouted "Good choice,fallow me" Aya-sensei said Natsuki couldn''t belive what was happeneing he had just agreed to stay at his school nurses house "What have I gotten myself into!" Natsuki said to himself.


    After fallowing Aya-sensei what seemed like for hours they finally came to her place which was a two bedroom apartment "Well, here we are" Aya-sensei said presenting her apartment "Good, now can we please get inside before the wrong person sees!" Natsuki shouted lowly "Alright keep you pants on!" Aya-sensei shouted back lowly and she opened her front door and walked in Natsuki fallowed behind her Aya-sensei flicked the lights on "You can go put your stuff in the empty bedroom" Aya-sensei said as she placed her apartment key on a shelf Natsuki nodded and he cautiously walked around Aya-sensei''s apartment "I don''t have any unmentionables out if that''s what your thinking" Aya-sensei said taking notice of Natsuki''s cautios nature "Ah, I see" Natsuki said and he started walking normally to the empty room he put down his suitcase Aya-sensei came to the door "Hey, you must be hungry want to eat?" Aya-sensei asked.


    Natsuki looked at Aya-sensei and blushed a bit somehow in the time he walked into the room she had somehow changed out of her nurse clothes into casual clothes which consisted of a simple grey short sleeved shirt with a pair of cotton pajama pants she also had her hair tied up into a single ponytail "Something the matter?" Aya-sensei asked "Ah,no nothing!" Natsuki said turning his face "Ah,are you captivated by the appeal of an older women?" Aya-sensei teased "No way! and I''m not a cheater!" Natsuki said "I don''t think just looking counts as cheating" Aya-sensei said Natsuki grubmled and decided to look at Aya-sensei again man was Aya-sensei pretty Natsuki thought he shook his head "Remember Yu-chan!" Natsuki said and he pictured Yuma in his head "Anyway, I asked you if your hungry" Aya-sensei said "Yeah, I kinda am now that you ask" Natsuki said "Well then, come into the kitchen I''ll cook us something" Aya-sensei said "You can cook!" Natsuki jumped up "Yeah, why?" Aya-sensei asked "It''s just back at Ayuko''s all she had to eat was cup ramen" Natsuki said "Geez, Ayuko still never learned how to cook" Aya-sensei said "You know Ayuko too?" Natsuki asked "Well of course, I was friends with Shuji for years of course I''d know Ayuko" Aya-sensei said a click went off in Natsuki''s head he remembered Aya-sensei telling him at school that She and Shuji were childhood friends.


    "Was Shuji always.." Natsuki paused "Was he always a girl crazy playboy?" Aya-sensei asked Natsuki nodded "Well, no not at first but he changed once he started middle school" Aya-sensei said  Aya-sensei could see the look starting to form on Natsuki''s face "Lets not talk about something like that! Lets get to getting some food shall we!" Aya-sensei said "Sure" Nastuki smirked and Aya-sensei smiled and turned to walk out the room "Aya-sensei" Natsuki said "Yes? What is it?" Aya-sensei asked "Thanks for letting me stay here" Natsuki said "Your welcome" Aya-sensei said "And Natsuki-kun" Aya-sensei said "Yes, what is it Aya-sensei?" Natsuki asked "You don''t have to address me as sensei were not at school" Aya-sensei said "Oh, then what should I call you now?" Natsuki asked.


    Aya-sensei smiled "Just call me Aya" she said "Aya" Natsuki said and he blushed Aya laughed "Come on lets get ourselves fed" she said Nastuki blush faded and nodded and fallowed her out the room to the kitchen where she got to work cooking she made enough for the two of them and the two of them ate together in a mere minuets they had each finsihed their plates "I''ll wash the dishes" Natsuki offered "Oh,you don''t have to!" Aya said "No,you cooked for me, the least I can do is wash the dishes" Natsuki said "Okay go ahead" Aya said and Natsuki washed the dishes they used.


    "So, what do you plan to do?" Aya asked as Natsuki put the plates away "Well, I was told about a new place that''s hiring" Natsuki said "And I plan to get a job there and save up some money for a place of my own" Natsuki said "Oh, so you do have a plan" Aya said "But,what are you going to do while you don''t have a job?" Aya asked "What do you mean?" Natsuki asked "Where will you stay every night?" Aya asked Natsuki chocked he hand''t thought about it "I guess once I get a job I can stay at motels" Natsuki said "You''ll never save enough money for your own place if you keep renting rooms" Aya said Nastuki shuddered and sulked.


    "Your right" Natsuki sighed "Well may I suggest something?" Aya said "What?" Natsuki asked "Why don''t you just stay here until you have everything settled" Aya said the breath was knocked out of Natsuki he could understand spending one night at Aya-sensei''s place but to extened that to who knows when left him speechless he thought Aya was joking but he could tell by the look on her face she was serious now Natsuki had a very big decision in front of him stay with Aya until he could get a place on his own and risk being caught living with a school facultiy member and risk expulsion and get Aya fired or decline and have to endure trying to find place after place to sleep "What the hell do I do now!?" he asked himself. [Ch.4 END]

 Chapter 5: Living With An Older Women

    Natsuki just looked and stared at Aya after what she had just said "You..Want me to stay here?" Natsuki said Aya nodded "Yeah, It''s not like you can go back to Ayuko''s" Aya said Natsuki sighed "Your right" Natsuki said "Come on, what''s the big deal?" Aya asked "The deal is me a student living with a member of the staff!" Natsuki said "Oh come now, no one''s going to know" Aya said "Still, I don''t want to take the chance" Natsuki said Aya grumbled "Stubborn like Shuji" Aya said Natsuki made a displeased noise Natsuki looked at Aya the women who had just treated him at school for a headache and he weighed the options he had in his head "Well?" Aya said Natsuki grumbled "Fine" he said Aya smirked "I''d knew you see that was the best choice" Aya smiled Natsuki smiled in the corner of his mouth.


    A few weeks later after that day it became Natsuki''s daily routein to find Aya after school ended and walk to her apartment with her it was hard for him to sneak around secretly with Aya espically when Natsuki was keeping his living at Aya''s apartment a secret from Yuma it was the end of the school day and Natsuki was packing his things up when Yuma came over her face was red Natsuki looked up when he saw her standing in front her desk "What is it Yu-chan?" Natsuki asked "Ah..Nat-kun is it..Is it okay if we walk home together?" Yuma asked Natsuki blushed and nearly dropped his bag and books "You..You mean.." Natsuki said Yuma nodded Natsuki smiled but then he remebered  where he lived as of now "Ah, sorry Yu-chan I''ve got something really important to attend to today" Natsuki said he felt bad for lying to Yuma "Oh, Okay maybe next time" Yuma said a bit saddened Natsuki felt guilty by making Yuma make that really sad face but there was no way he could let Yuma of all people know that he was staying at an older womens apartment.


    Yuma waved a goodbye and left the classroom when she left Natsuki groaned "Damnit!" he cursed "The perfect time for me and Yu-chan to be alone togther" he groveled he then went back to picking his things up he got up from his desk and headed out he walked out the school and went in the direction of Aya''s apartment along the way he was surprised by a sudden "Hey!" come from behind him he turned and looked his heart pounding in his chest and saw Aya waving at him with a bright smile "What the heck was that for!" Natsuki shouted "Sorry, I thought I''d give you a little scare" Aya said with a light laugh "Don''t do that!" Natsuki hissed "Why not?" Aya asked "Just because" Natsuki said and he tunred around disgruntedly "Come on now Natsu-kun" Aya said using the nickname she started calling him after the weeks he''d spent at her apartment "What do you want" Natsuki said "Oh, I just thought I''d wait for you so we could walk home together" Aya said Natsuki sighed "Is that all, we walk home together everyday now" Natsuki said "What''s got you so pissed off?" Aya asked.


    "I just refused an invatation to walk home with Yu-chan!" Natsuki said "Idiot! Why''d you go and do something like that!" Aya shouted "Because I live with you at the moment!" Natsuki shouted back Aya sighed "Your an idiot" Aya groaned "What?! Why?!" Natsuki asked "You turned down your girlfriend because of another women" Aya said "I trying to make sure my girlfriend doesn''t find out about this" Natsuki said. Aya scowled angrily "You could have walked home with her you know" Aya said Natsuki grumbled "Yeah, I could have" Natsuki said a bit sad Aya sighed seeing the sorry look on Natsuki''s face "Well,it''s your first relationship so, I guess you wouldn''t want to screw it up" Aya said.


    "But next time, when you girlfriend asks to walk home with you, walk home with her!" Aya said "Right,if there is a next time" Natsuki said "Lets get home your making me sad just looking at you" Aya said "Yeah, sure" Natsuki said and he and Aya started walking down the street together "So, how''s work been?" Aya asked "Pretty good" Natsuki said he had gotten the job that Toru mentioned to him when they had detention together "The pays great and the other employees treat me well" Natsuki said "Well that''s good, how''s you goal coming along?" Aya asked Nastuki sighed "I''ve made and saved at least fifthteen thousand yen" Natsuki said "That''s pretty good for only a few weeks" Aya said in encouragment "Yeah, but apartments knowadays cost alot more then that" Natsuki said "You''ll get there" Aya smiled "Sure, maybe in the next 3 years" Natsuki said "Don''t discourage yourself like that" Aya said.


    Natsuki looked at Aya "Says the women who already has an apartment" Natsuki said Aya grumbled "You should be nice to the women who owns the apartment of she''ll kick you butt out" Aya said Nastuki stiffened "Sorry" he apologized Aya sighed "So, any contact with Ayuko whatso ever?" Aya asked Nastuki went silent after he had tore into Ayuko few weeks earlier and she kicked him out her house he hadn''t talked with or seen Ayuko since then "No" Natsuki said "Hmm, you should try to let her know your okay" Aya said "Why should I?"
