《Jen 10: Omni-Protector》 A Story Retold Differently — Things Going Another Way Jen 10: Omni-Protector Volume 1: Summer Vacation Chapter 1: A Story Retold Differently ¡ª Things Going Another Way Stories are not always told once and in this case, it will be told another way. Some stories can be retold differently, and you may never know how they''ll turn out. But this is a story that will last longer than a singular 20-minute episode. ... Amidst the vastness of outer space ¡ª an endless sea of nothingness dotted with specks of rock and gas; the rings of Saturn were alight with foreign luminescence, set ablaze by violent explosions. At the centre of this chaos, a sleek, dark bluish-grey spaceship with vibrant green accents, manoeuvred skillfully through the hazardous asteroid belt, firing back at the colossus of a battle cruiser ploughing through space debris in its relentless pursuit. The hulking spaceship was massive, completely dwarfing the one it pursued, its appearance akin to that of an oversized, unmounted laser rifle designed for a to''kustar. Its two elongated pieces sparked ominously with orange electricity constantly crackling between them, and a propulsion system that resembled wires suspending a ball of red energy. Predominantly a dull greyish-brown, the vessel featured symmetrically placed glowing orange egg-like constructs and portholes alongside visible turrets and antennae. This intimidating behemoth of the void is known as the Chimeran Hammer, a legendary and feared battle cruiser that''s blazed across numerous galaxies carving a trail of destruction in its path. It is also the main residence of the intergalactic warlord and conqueror, the most feared chimera sui generis in the universe, Vilgax. From its gargantuan frame, the battle cruiser rapidly fired two short barrages of red energy beams at the smaller spaceship adorned with green spheres on its edges connected by a striking arch with twin inverted fins that pointed downwards, hitting it twice. The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings. Despite the Chimeran Hammer''s infamy, the smaller spacecraft fought valiantly enduring and evading damage from the larger spacecraft before returning laser fire with two concentrated parallel beams of green energy at the neck of its pursuer leaving smoldering scars on its hull. *Boom* Within the Chimeran Hammer''s command center two bioids, humanoid robotic minions engineered to serve Vilgax in his relentless conquests quickly assessed the level of damage they had just received. Their design was imposing, primarily black with orange torsos, necks, and upper arms, masking faceplates that featured three protruding yellow lenses on each side that were progressively larger from top to bottom. Long cylindrical protrusions extended from the back of their heads, while shorter ones crowned their shoulders and adorned their backpacks, all rimmed with vibrant red accents. "Hull damage, 20%, but the system''s still operational." One of the bioids reported, its voice resonating with mechanical precision. Seated upon his imposing throne, the captain of the Chimeran Hammer a slender humanoid creature standing under 15 feet tall exuded an aura of intimidation. This was the aforementioned intergalactic alien warlord Vilgax the Conqueror, a tyrant feared throughout the universe who has destroyed several planets. He wore a black armoured suit consisting of a leotard-like torso, four-fingered gloved arm sleeves with spiked shoulder and elbow pads, and fully black chausses covering each leg down to his two toes. All the various components were separated by a network of red circuitry-like markings snaking across the pale green skin exposed at his shoulders and hips. While the arm sleeves'' gloves, elbow pads, and upper arms, alongside the torso''s armscye, were a contrasting brownish-red. Vilgax''s face was a testament to his cephalopod-like alien heritage; a daunting visage that bore a resemblance to an octopus with squid-like tentacles dangling from his chin like a beard, the longest reaching down to his upper chest area. Yellowish mud-like blemishes littered the pale green skin of his face and tentacles, and although lacking visible ears or a conventional nose, his head supported a green neck-pillow-shaped sac that connected both of his cheeks from the back of his head. His lips were black possessing lines connecting to his sac while he had angled red eyes, capable of igniting dread in the most defiant hearts. "I have come too far to be denied!" The chimera sui generis declared menacingly while clenching his left hand before slamming his closed fist upon the armrest of his throne, while the spaceships exited the asteroid belt and the smaller ship deftly evaded the Chimeran Hammer''s relentless lasers. "The Omnitrix shall be mine, and there is not a being in the galaxy that will dare stand in my way!" ...
