 A New Student

    Honey, I need you to wake up. As Ty blinks the sleep out of his eyes and stretches in his bed his mom tells him you''ll be late if you don''t start getting ready, only 15 minutes until we have to leave. Ok, ok I''m going, he says. As he picks out what clothes he is going to wear to school today. He goes with a T-shirt that says I ROCK on it and some cargo shorts. His mom hurley feeds him some Cheerios and gets him out the door. Come on, you don''t want to be late for your first day at school, do you? That''s all Ty wants to do. As they drive to school his mom tries to get him excited about this new school. Acting like it''s different from any of the other schools he¡¯s been to. As Ty gets out of the car, she tells him to behave and to try and make some friends. ¡°Ok,¡± Ty says as he walks away into the school. He is immediately greeted by the Vice Principal Mrs. Lewis. Hi Ty! I''m Mrs. Lewis, and I''ll be your vice principal here at Terra Centre. I do hope we will enjoy you here, she says with a devilish grin. As she waddles away down the hall Ty turns to try and find his Homeroom. He finds his class and it¡¯s with Ms. Manahan at classroom number 211. She greets him as he comes in, Welcome Ty! I heard it¡¯s your first year joining us at this school. Please hang your bag up on one of the hooks in the cubbies then take a seat on the carpet in the front of the room. As Ty turns around to hang up his bag, he feels the hairs on the back of his neck rising but when he turns around to see what''s causing this all he sees is Ms. Manahan smiling down at him. ¡°Is something wrong, " she says. Are you nervous? Don''t be, we¡¯re very¡­accepting here she says with a grin. Ty turns and hangs up his bag and takes a seat, but he can''t seem to shake the feeling of something being off with his new teachers.The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.
