Chapter 808

    ?

Aurora wanted to reject even that, but the cold, hard look on Theodore''s face frightened her.

Before she could speak, Theodore decided, "That settles it, then."

It was a decision where both of thempromised and met in the middle.

Aurora thought it wasn''t good to reject him again, so she said, "Alright, thank you. If you ever need my help in the future, you can..."

    Sheughed self-derisively mid-sentence.

"What would you need my help for? I think too highly of myself."

"Don''t think that way. The sky''s still dark. You should get some more rest," Theodore said.

Aurora looked guiltily at him. "I made you stay here with me for so long, I feel so bad. You must be exhausted."

Theodore shrugged. "It''s fine. I''m not that tired."

Even if he didn''t stay with Aurora in the hospital, it would be the same for him, lying on his bed back at home. He would be unable to fall asleep and need sleeping pills.

Even until now, he still felt very awake and alert and not tired at all.

"No matter what, you need sleep too," Aurora said.

He had been here for long enough, sending her to the hospital and waiting for her to gain consciousness. He had done enough for her, and there was no need to keep herpany through the night. He wasn''t in the mood to do so, anyway.

Seeing Theodore turning around and leaving, Aurora''s instinctively braced herself and said, "Mr. Spencer, will we see each other again in the future?" She was worried that after Theodore left, she would never see him again.

Although she had his number, she couldn''t keep calling him. That would only annoy him.

After a moment''s pause, Theodore stopped in his tracks and turned around to say, "The doctor said you need to be hospitalized for a few days. I''lle visit when I have the time."

Aurora had wanted to ask, what about if he didn''t have the time?

However, she swallowed the words that were at the tip of her tongue and instead said, "Sure."

After Theodore left, Aurora sighed. She thought back on the day she saved Theodore.

She didn''t actually bump into him by chance. Someone had emailed her, telling her that ce was the most ideal photography spot.

When she watched the video, she

found that spot to be beautiful indeed natural without any man-made interferences. She headed straight for the photo spot with her camera in hand.

She didn''t expect to save Theodore there.

She tried to find out the identity of the sender of the email, but she couldn''t find anything.

    It was an anonymous sender.

She had this feeling that this wasn''t a mere coincidence, but she couldn''t find any proof.

However, she didn''t regret how things turned out. Saving Theodore and having an encounter with aman like this was something beyond her wildest dreams.

However, she could tell that he wasn''t very happy. Who had hurt him so deeply?

    Theodore didn''t return home.

Instead, he headed to a nearby hotel.

He finally felt a little tired when he

reached the hotel. After taking a

quick shower,id on the bed and slept for a few hours.

When day broke the next morning, he called his assistant and asked for a clean set of clothes to be sent over.

After changing out of his clothes, Theodore headed straight to the office.

Over the next few hours, he treated himself like a machine and worked non-stop, without even drinking or eating.

He spent the entire day burying himself in work and business.

Even when the sky turned dark and his staff had all clocked out, Theodore was still working in his office.

The staff didn''t even realize that Theodore hadn''t moved from his seat.

Theodore sat before his table, and cleared the final file on his desk.Owned by N?velDrama.Org.
