Yuvan poured Theodore a cup of water.
"Mr. Spencer." He ced the cup on the table. "You haven''t eaten or drank anything today. Have some water."
He didn''t offer Theodore coffee, for fear that it might keep him awake at night. The sky was already turning dark. Theodore nced at the clock. "Why haven''t you clocked out yet?"
"Mr. Spencer, you haven''t left. How could I possibly do so before you?"
"It''s fine. You can clock out now."
"Alright. Oh yes," Yuvan said as a thought came to mind. "Your mother called me asking me about you."
Theodore furrowed his brows. "Is that so? What did you tell her?"
"I told her you were well, and that there were no issues."
Theodore nodded. "If she calls to ask again, just reply to her the same thing and don''t tell her too much."
"Alright."Owned by N?velDrama.Org.
Theodore grabbed his jacket and left the office. He drove on the streets, unsure of where to go.
What was the point of going back to that home? He was going to be all alone, lying on that huge, empty bed with no one and nothing to keep himpany.
Looking at the dazzling night scenery whizzing by him outside the window, Theodore realized how big this city was, yet it didn''t seem to have a ce for him.
He unwittingly drove to the hospital.
It was the hospital where Aurora was at.
Somehow, he found Aurora bearing a slight resemnce with Rosalie. Her eyes and the way she spoke reminded him very much of Rosalie.
Even so, he knew that she wasn''t Rosalie.
He probably drove here because he missed Rosalie so much.
''Just as well,'' he thought. Since he was already here, he would just head in and see her for a while.
When Theodore arrived at the ward, Aurora had just finished her dinner. Her face lit up when she saw him arrive.
"Mr. Spencer, you''re here."
She had thought she would never see Theodore again. She didn''t expect to see him again so soon.
He didn''t lie to her. He wasn''t just saying perfunctorily that he woulde visit her when he had the time.
She had thought he didn''t mean what he said.
Aurora was ted to see Theodore once more. His appearance convinced her that he was a man of his word, and made her like him even more. Aurora''s expectant expression stunned Theodore.
She looked exactly like Rosalie. Was this a coincidence, or...
Theodore stepped forward and asked, "How do you feel?"
"Pretty good," Aurora said. "The nurse is taking very good care of me. Mr. Spencer, have you had dinner yet?"
Theodore was about to say that he hadn''t, but to avoid any drama from happening, he said, "I have."
"That''s good. I just had my dinner too. I wonder if there''ll be a chance for us to have a meal together one day." Theodore furrowed his brows upon realizing what Aurora was trying to do.
As if realizing the subtle change in his expression, Aurora hurriedly added, "Please don''t misunderstand! I don''t mean to pester you. It was just a casual mention. You don''t need to have a meal with me."
Theodore looked at the face before him that resembled that of Rosalie. He couldn''t help but think of that woman, which made his heart throb with pain and be breathless.

He forced a smile, and said, "That''s not entirely out of the question. We can have a meal together after you recover."
Since Rosalie wasn''t around, he wasn''t exactlyforting himself with illusions with Aurora.
It''s just that he found Aurora to
resemble Rosalie very much, so ke couldn''t bear to reject her, which felt very much like he was rejecting Rosalie herself.
"Mr. Spencer, what''s the matter? Did something happen?" Aurora asked.
"I''m fine," Theodore said. "Perhaps I just feel a little troubled after working an entire day."
"Oh, yes," Aurora remarked. "You''re a busy man, managing such a hugepany day in and day out. You must be really busy and face a lot of pressure."
