The burly man raised his legs and propelled himself to where the individual in ck stood before shing his swords once more.
Yet, the individual dressed in ck weaved his way through the shes as if they were some sort of demon.
"No wonder you can wield the demon sword. Looks like the usual moves aren''t going to work."
The individual dressed in ck jumped onto the roof.
"I have no intentions of battling with you. But if you wish to stop me, I''ll kill you on sight!"
"Oh? Kill me on sight? Do you know who you''re talking to, little man?"
The Great Swordsman unbuttoned his tattered clothes to reveal his firm muscles littered with scars. As he removed his clothes, the five swords strapped to his back also revealed themselves. Upon hismand, the five swords flew out of their sheaths.
That, coupled with the two swords he was already holding, allowed the Great Swordsman to pull off the Stream of Seven Swords Technique.
"Are you some sort of monster?" the individual dressed in ck asked.
"You''re the monster!" the Great Swordsman said as he used some strange-looking method to propel himself into the air. Then, he twisted his body and moved his hands and feet in tandem as heunched himself toward the individual in ck like a sword shing through the air.
The individual in ck had no choice but to swerve. However, the Great Swordsman was moving too quickly.
Hence, they had to once again use the substitution technique to avoid getting injured. Then, they threw a smoke grenade.
"The Invisibility Technique!"
"Don''t run!"
A spinning de shed the smoke apart.
The individual dressed in ck had wanted to escape, but their location got exposed almost immediately, leaving them no choice but to unsheath the demon sword once again.
They shed the sword once.
A gust of sword energy that felt like death itself collided with the Great Swordsman''s seven swords.
Somehow, the Great Swordsman''s swords became corroded. Several rusted over while some shattered into pieces.
"Tsk, how troublesome," the Great Swordsmanined.
Upon realizing their attack was working, the individual dressed in ck tried to kill the Great Swordsman. However, they then realized the demon sword was sapping their life force from them, and it would be difficult for them to escape if they continued using the sword. They had no choice but to set the sword aside.
Then, they spat out onest sentence, "Don''t let me see you again, Great Swordsman."
The individual dressed in ck then dashed away.
There was no time for the Great Swordsman toment the loss of his seven swords. He raced back into the swordsman association.
There, Alfius stood rooted to the ground, still in shock.
He slowly brought the sword he held to his throat.
The Great Swordsman hurriedly reached out to grab the handle when he realized what was going on.
Bright red splotches of blood appeared as the Great Swordsman''s body shook violently.
Finally, Alfius put the sword down, his body shaking violently as he did so.
The Great Swordsman hurriedly picked up Alfius when he passed out, and together, they left the ce.
At Drakonia''s Northern Territory, Nash was still hung up over what Mosley had said previously, but he did not know how he should proceed with things. "Should I meet up with Francis?" Nash mumbled to himself as he gazed at the phone number in his hands.
...
His father''s words rang in his ears once again.
"Be careful of Francis Dunn. And be careful of your master as well."
"My master? Forget about Francis, but why is my master involved in this too?"
His father never told him his reasons for everything he said, and Nash never managed to figure out why his father refused to exin things to him. Was it because he wasnot strong enough back then?
What about now? His skills were probably greater than Francis'', right? Yet, why had things remained the way they were? Nash could not make sense of things, and he could not think about things calmly either.
It had been days since his father had gone missing. During this period he had not heard much news other than the information the Southern Territory''s Warden had shared with him a while ago.
As for Zaafea, he had said not to worry, but he had vanished once more. What on earth was going on? Were they unable to find his father as well?
Nash made up his mind. He was going to call Francis.
Right then, he received a call from an unknown number. "Hello? Master Nash?"
