CH.23 Founding a Dungeon p2
“I think the Card summoner skill you all got is something that works with my unique skill. I got the same skill as well, but mine was assimted by my unique skill.” I tell them.
“Brian, I don’t understand.” Alice says. I think no one else does either, based on their looks. Don’t me me, I don’t understand it either.
“I would like to better exin Alice, but I really can’t. I just don’t know myself.” I say to her. “I would like everyone to give me a little time to check what has changed with my skill and then I might be able to exin it to everyone. I’m sorry”
“That’s fine Brian. You don’t gain a new skill every day. And most people don’t even have an extra skill to begin with.” Zayaan says to me. I can tell the baron still wants to know more, but I really would just be specting. It won’t be good info.
“What about the dungeon status?” The baron asks me.
“I think it’s fine. At least as far as I could see. I absorbed all the monster corpses so our way out will be easier. I also got some generation points that can be used to make stuff.” I tell him. “Oh yeah, there also is no current master, so we might want to name one.”
Zayaan and the baron seem to instantly lock eyes as I say that. I guess they want topete for the dungeon master position. Well it doese with health benefits so I guess I understand.
“Zayaan, ording tow only a government or guild employee can be a dungeon master. You are neither, so you can’t be the master.” The baron tries to shut Zayaan up.
“You should very well know that that’s not true. Anyone with approval can get the position. And we have the founder here, and in a dungeon the founder''s word is thew.” Zayaan says back. So I make the rules in this dungeon. Cool.
“You two stop.” I say to them. “Keep that going and I’ll make Rico the dungeon master.”
“Really?” Rico seems excited. “You better do it.”
“No, I won’t, Rico.” I say to him. “You would be a terrible DM. You would just try to maximize profits. Which might not be bad in the short term, but in the long run it might harm this dungeon.”
“Well we will deal with the dungeon master problemter.” The baron says. “Can you tell us what items this dungeon can generate?”
“Sure. There are eight generation spots, not that I know what that means, and five avable items to generate.” I say.
“Eight slots but only five items. That doesn’t seem right. What are these items?” The baron asks.
“Cardboard, denim fabric, cotton fabric, tricot fabric and magic bag.” I answer.
“I have never heard of the first four but magic bags are quite valuable. We were lucky.” The baronments.
“You don’t know about cardboard boxes?” I ask.
“No.” He says.
“Well… I don’t know what to say.” How does a world have functioning magic toilets, but not cardboard boxes? That makes no sense. These dungeons work in mysterious ways.
“Can you make one for us to see?” The baron asks.
“Sure, just give me a second.” I answer.

Well that looks familiar. I press yes. At a spot next to the wall a cardboard box appears. It’s a littlerger than I was expecting. I would say it’s 50cm wide, 50cm deep and 30cm tall. I walk up to it and pick it up. I bring the box over to the baron.
“This is a cardboard box.” I tell him and hand the box over.
“It is remarkably light. These could be useful for peddlers.” He says.
“I don’t think it’s super durable though.” I say to him. “It might break on a long trip.”
“We will have to experiment on it to find out. Do you know about the fabrics that were avable?” He asks.
“Yeah, I do. My hoodie is made of cotton fabric, my pants are denim and my undershirt and underwear are tricot.” I answer him.
“I see, so the dungeon chose to replicate your wonderful clothes. That’s great. Now we can get some.” The baron seems excited.
“Sorry to burst your bubble, but the dungeon can’t make clothes, it only makes the fabric.” I tell him before he ispletely on cloud nine.
(Master, if you install ‘Tailor of the Fickle’ to the dungeon core, it should be able to make ready made clothes.) Laura gave me a hint. Install? What is that?
(What do you mean by ‘install’?) I ask her.
(It is an ability that Master''s unique skill gained when it leveled up.) Laura answered.
“I see.” I say out loud. The baron is looking at me confused as to who I’m talking to. “System support told me that I can improve the dungeon by using my unique skill. I might be able to have it make clothes for us, instead of just fabric.”
“Good, do it.” The baron orders me.
“I was going to.” I say
I open up my collection and pull out Tailor of the Fickle. The name sounds a little, well fickle, but Laura said it would work and I trust her. I walk up to the core and hold the card over it.
(Master, say ‘install’.) Laura guides me.
“Install.”

“It was sessful. This dungeon can now make clothes.” I said.
“Make me ones like yours!” Alice immediately jumps on me begging for some.
“Sure. I’ll make you some.” I answer her.
“Can I have that jacket too?” Lucia asks.
“Sure I’ll make you one. Does anyone else want something?” Now I feel like I’m running a store.
“Can I have pants like yours?” Zayaan asked.
“I’d like some of those undershirts. Thank you.” Alex added. Everyone was just ordering things.
Well let’s see how this works.
