CH.452 Just Pack Opener progress

 … I don’t really know how to start. Today I just n onpleting some sets, hopefully, so that means a lot of packs.

 Ideally, I want to fullyplete, or at least get almost every card, from diator''s Assault and Phantom Darkness. I have most of the cards from the sets already, only missing a few. Then after I get those done, I may move onto Light of Destruction, but I’m missing a lot more stuff from that set.

 Okay, a few new cards.

 First, Alien Telepath. It has a Spell/Trap destroying effect, so it is good in the TCG. For me, not all that necessary. But it isn’t bad.

 Cloudian - Eye of the Typhoon has a nice attack stat of 3000 and it cannot be destroyed by battle, so that is great. I think he could also help Cailie with her Wind magic.

 Updraft is an okay burn card, but requires a bit too much setup, getting all those Fog counters onto the field.

 Defensive Tactics I already had as a super rare, but the ultimate rare variant is new. Wish my ultimate rare wasn’t a repeat, but it is technically something I didn’t have, so I’ll take it.

 Enishi, Shien''s Chancellor is perfectly fine. More samurais is always good.

 Evil HERO Lightning Golem is fine, but it is nothing more than an ‘evil’ Thunder Giant. Still nice to have, but I think I’ll stick to the regr Elemental Heroes. Don’t want to be too evil.

 Evil HERO Inferno Wing is the same.

 And Security Orb is kind of bad, but I can probably reverse engineer it into something useful.

 I’ll do another 50 GLAS packs before I swap sets. I’ll just get what I don’t get from the packs with Different Dimension Capsules.

 Okay. Necroface is actually amazing. Because by summoning it, I can get back all of my banished cards. So yeah. Amazing.

 Evil HERO Malicious Edge is something I already had, from the duelist pack Jaden 3, but new from this set. And it is okay.

 diator Beast Torax is … I don’t really know. It seems so bad on paper, but maybe there is some decent use for it.

 Cloudian - Eye of the Typhoon as an ultimate rare is also technically new, so the Collection is growing.

 But yeah. I’ll quickly check what I need to fullyplete the set, and get those cards into Capsules.

 I actually was missing more cards than I first assumed.

 Starting off, Elemental HERO sma Vice. A pretty decent Fusion monster, but honestly, considering that one of the materials is dedge, I wish it had just a bit more attack.

 Next up, Skreech. … it sucks. Nothing more to it.

 Super Vehicroid - Stealth Union is nice. … kind of. It looks cool. Just a shame for that halving attack while attacking effect.

 Dragon Ice is cool, and not just in the pun way. The special summon condition it has is actually pretty good. Especially since you can discard itself from your hand and then special summon it from the GY.

 Soul Taker I already had from a structure deck, but it still is nice. Just destroy something for basically free.

 Silent Doom is okay, but Monster Reborn is still better.

 diator Beast Heraklinos is nice. Good attack, decent effect, just all around good. I guess needing three monsters to summon it is a bit of a downside.

 Veil of Darkness is an interesting card when ites to Pack Tokens, because as long as you get a Dark monster in a pack, you can get rid of said Dark monster, and get the pack token back. So kind of cool, but unnecessary.

 Gil Garth is an okay Normal monster, but nothing more.

 Magic Form is cool. I’ll have to make sure Alice gets a copy or two.

 Royal Firestorm Guards is perfectly fine. Looks cool and has an okay effect.

 diator Beast Octavius has an effect to destroy Spells and Traps, and it also is pretty strong, so it isn’t bad.

 And Tongue Twister is honestly something I’m not sure I want to have in my Collection. Who designed the card? And not just the effect and stats, but also the artwork. Everything about the card is just nightmare fuel.

 But yeah. With that, diator’s Assault is fullypleted. Laura will get some additional copies of everythingter, but now I have at least one of everything. … as soon as the Capsules are done.

 Next up, . Like with d Assault, I’ll do about 100 packs first, maybe more if I decide to go crazy, before I set up Capsules to get everything I don’t get from the packs.

 Okay. Yubel got! Finally. Demon waifu is here and she is here to stay. … until her effect destroys her.

 Dark Nephthys is also new, so that is kind of nice.

 And I didn’t have the ultimate rare version of The Beginning of the End yet either, so that is also technically new.

 But the most important card is the Yubel, so I think I won’t open more packs. I’ll just get the rest with Capsules.

 As for the stuff I wascking, well, there were nine cards.

 Starting off with the third form of Yubel, Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare. It is the best of the Yubel forms, but I really am not a big fan of how it looks. Just the demonic twin-headed dragon monster looks … a bit too demonic and monstrous for my liking. But it is good and it is a Yubel form, so I may use it at some point.

 The Dark Creator is good. Nothing super special, but it isn’t bad either.

 Belial - Marquis of Darkness is actually really nice. Not only does it redirect all attacks at itself, but it also does the same for Spells and Traps. And while it cannot ‘fizzle out’ attacks like some other cards can, it is still a nice attack ma to have.

 Darklord Zerato is okay. The Raigeki effect is nice, just a shame the card kills itself during the end phase after the effect is activated. But I do question, how is that card a Fairy and not a Fiend?

 Mutant Mindmaster is another Dark Spellcaster. Like I didn’t have enough of those already. But it does specialize in mind control, so I guess that is cool.

 Goblin Zombie is Goblin Zombie. It is decent in the TCG, but mostly useless for me.

 Hannibal Necromancer is yet another Dark Spellcaster. Has a mediocre effect that relies on Spell Counters and is just all around a worse Breaker the Magical Warrior.

 But then we have thest two, and they are kind of nice. Starting us off, Rainbow Dark Dragon. It is about as good as the regr Rainbow Dragon, so I’ll dly take it. And now I can summon both at the same time, if I want.

 And then there is DAD. Or Dark Armed Dragon. One of the best cards printed at a time. Which basically caused the meta to devolve into a tier zero format where everyone used DAD. At least if memory serves.

 So yeah. Dark Armed Dragon is great.

 Also, I’m not going to go into any Light of Destruction for now, because I’m tired, and I think that is enough packs and cards for one day. I think I’ll just summon Yubel and see how yandere she is for me.

 ... and the answer is ... She wanted to take over Lua’s body so that she could spend more time with me. So ... I''ll still summon her from time to time. I just have to be careful while I''m in the Factory.
