CH.451 Wind Rose Dragon
<span style="font-weight:400">After getting another copy of ck Rose Dragon, and then performing some DNA Surgery and Transnt on it, I had the perfect, in my opinion, Synchro monster for Cailie.
<span style="font-weight:400">And it is time for her to summon it.
<span style="font-weight:400">… And I’ll also summon the three Synchroes I have, so that I can collect my Clear Wing Synchro Dragon.
<span style="font-weight:400">We were outside on the HomeBase courtyard and a few of my employees that had the time, as well as some of the dhampirs that were interested were some ways away watching us.
<span style="font-weight:400">“... you first.” Cailie told me.
<span style="font-weight:400">“That is fine with me. I’ll call out Red Dragon Archfiend. … I guess I’ll need the materials.”
<span style="font-weight:400">I quickly checked what I could use for a level 8 Synchro. I only have level 1, 2 and 3 Tuners, so I’ll have to use one of them. And since I’m summoning RDA, I think I’ll be using Dark Resonator. It just feels appropriate. I then picked a level 5 vani to be the other material.

<span style="font-weight:400">I looked at my new dragon, and I was quite happy with how draconic and not demonic it looks like. I was a bit afraid, because RDA is an Archfiend. And generally, Archfiends look very demonic, to the point where I’m afraid of using them outside of the Factory.
<span style="font-weight:400">They aren’t evil, per se, but most would see them as evil, so I don’t really want to use them. Demon summoning is dangerous and I don’t want people thinking otherwise just because I can do it safely.

<span style="font-weight:400">Wind Rose Dragon. A ck Rose Dragon I DNA Surgeried and DNA Transnted to be a Wind/nt. But for some reason, it is still a dragon, so it is now a Wind/Dragon/nt/Synchro.
<span style="font-weight:400">Also, the entire coloring of the dragon changedpletely. It now had a silvery white body, and emerald … are they petals or scales? Let’s go with petals.
<span style="font-weight:400">All I can say is that I really like how the dragon looks. I think she will be a perfect fit for Cailie.
<span style="font-weight:400">“So… do you like it?” I asked Cailie.
<span style="font-weight:400">“... She is beautiful.” Cailie admitted. “Can she fly?”
<span style="font-weight:400">“She is a dragon, so yes. Want to go for a ride?”
<span style="font-weight:400">“... yes.”
<span style="font-weight:400">We both climbed onto our dragons, and took off to the skies around HomeBase.
<span style="font-weight:400">As we flew, I noticed a few scale petals falling off of Wind Rose Dragon, and decided to keep an eye on them. And wherever theynded, a tiny spot of turquoise roses began to bloom. It was quite interesting, as I don’t think I’ve seen that with any other monster.
<span style="font-weight:400">I think I’ll gather all the rosester and nt them all into a few of the HomeBase’s flower beds. Not the ones with the mana flowers in them, those flowers are special and need a specific kind of fertilizer, so I don’t really want to nt random flowers with them.
<span style="font-weight:400">But we do have some general flower beds. Most of them just have blood lilies or some other flowers I liked the look of, but I think we can have some emerald roses. I think that is what I’ll name them, if they don’t already have a name.
<span style="font-weight:400">After wended, Cailie said she’d prune her new dragon, not that I think it is necessary, but she is the nt expert between the two of us, so I’ll let her do as she wants.
<span style="font-weight:400">I then quickly summoned the two Synchroes that I hadn’t summoned yet. My copy of ck Rose Dragon, as well as Psychic Lifetrancer.

<span style="font-weight:400">With ck Rose Dragon, I checked if her scale petals falling had the same effect as they did with Wind Rose Dragon, but it turns out they didn’t. I do have a few theories on it, but I think the best one is Cailie. Specifically Hegemone’s Blessing and Nature Magic.
<span style="font-weight:400">I think some of that blessing is maybe shared for Wind Rose Dragon, because Wind Rose is a nt monster, and because of that, the petals bloom into rose patches.
<span style="font-weight:400">Also, Psychic Lifetrancer is quite knowledgeable when ites to robotic and human interactions, or to be more specific, artificial mechanical limbs. As you may be able to tell by the fact that she has a mechanical arm and leg.
<span style="font-weight:400">I probably could have made something like that myself, by cross referencing data from my Machine monsters, but regrowing the limb has been a better choice for now. But now it might not be. Sure a mechanical limb won’t grow with the System stats, but at the same time, it can be more powerful than your System stats.
<span style="font-weight:400">And yes, the prosthetic can’t really be too powerful, or it will cause problems for you, so it would have to be something you upgrade over time. … which would be expensive. So maybe just regrowing the limb is better.
<span style="font-weight:400">But, there is something else I can use this human to machine interface for. And that is making better mechas. Ones that directly interface with a person, instead of having to be controlled with an Xbox controller. … That was a joke. You don’t control a Megazord with an Xbox controller, but with two joysticks instead. … which admittedly is basically the same.
<span style="font-weight:400">But yeah. I think I can make a direct brain to machine interface, kind of like those EVA units from Evangelion. They had something like that, right? I’m not just remembering wrong.
<span style="font-weight:400">But enough about that, I have a reward to pick up.

<span style="font-weight:400">I quickly im my reward, and even faster, I summon out my Clear Wing.
<span style="font-weight:400">Clear Wing then has a quick fight with RDA. RDA naturally wins, holding Clear Wing against the ground with its ws. But as he is celebrating ‘putting down’ Clear Wing, RDA’s effect of destroying monsters that didn’t attack activates, and it attempts to destroy ck Rose, Lifetrancer and Clear Wing. Clear Wing then negates the effect, and ends up destroying Red Dragon Archfiend, effectively losing the battle, but winning the war.
<span style="font-weight:400">I then unsummoned the Synchroes, as the show was over. I then quickly checked what the reward would be for 10 Synchroes summoned, and I have to say, I was very much looking forward to it. Largely because ck Rose Dragon really isn’t the most powerful.

But apparently some genius has made an upgraded form of ck Rose Dragon, and it will be my next reward. After I get it, I can just do the same DNA Surgery and Transnt treatment to it as I did to Wind Rose Dragon. Maybe I can acquire myself a Windy Rose Dragon, or whatever it will end up being.

<span style="font-weight:400">For the rest of the day, I decided to work on something fun in the Factory. And that something was a turbo duel track. Yes, I want to be able to y card games on motorcycles. But no, I’m not dumb enough to do it without the protection the Factory offers.
<span style="font-weight:400">Here I’ll also be able to materialize D-Wheels without having to worry about the usual Momentum costs. I still can’t just ‘steal’ the bikes that are for sale, but anything I design myself, I can materialize in the Factory, even if I couldn’t afford to add it to the list of D-Wheels I can ‘summon’ in the real world.
<span style="font-weight:400">For the track itself, I first made a small … rtively small circuit in an empty room in the Factory. It was meant to be a good track, but it ended up being more of a practice track.
<span style="font-weight:400">But then I realized I could make something amazing instead, that being something based on the turbo duel between Yuya and Jack from the Arc-V anime. The one after Zarc where they duel across multiple dimensions.
<span style="font-weight:400">So I made a track that teleports from one HomeBase room to the next, crossing through most of them. And want to know the best part, when you are in a room with a Field spell, that Field spell would effectively be the active Field spell.
<span style="font-weight:400">So while you are driving in the underwater tunnel going through the Umi room for example, you better believe that all the Fish, Sea Serpent, Thunder, and Aqua monsters on the field will get that power boost. So you can strategize around that.

<span style="font-weight:400">I’ll just have to add a limit to how long you can go between actions, just so you can’t stall for like three minutes just waiting for you to get to the field that will be best for you. Like maybe a thirty second limit between actions or something. That way, you can still y for time if you see a good field approaching, but you can’t get too much time to the point where you can just wait forever.
<span style="font-weight:400">After the track was finished, I decided to take it for a spin. I was just using the practice D-Wheel I have, because I’m not sure I’m confident enough to drive the track with speeds of over 200 km/h. But the 100 km/h practice bike, yeah, that I can do.
<span style="font-weight:400">I also realized that this track just became a great way to show someone all of HomeBase quite quickly. So I designed a D-Wheel that looks like a sports convertible, so that I can use it to take people for a ride. And with a sports convertible like this, you could theoretically have two vs two turbo duels. Two people per card, and between turns, you trade both drives as well as who is ying the card game.
<span style="font-weight:400">As a concept, I love it. But I do need people who actually want to y Yugioh with me first.
