Chapter 588

What a bastard... Upon hearing Matthew''s remark, Levi clenched his teeth in anger. "My dad passed away. Isn''t that a bit over the line?"

Matthew coldly stated, "Taking modern medicine for high blood pressure is basically prolonging your death. There are traditional medicines to cure it, but you stole the form for the money. You''re the being outrageous here. You''re the reason for Mr. Lancaster''s death."

Levi suddenly yelled, "You''re full of shit! It''s just a coincidence. I had no idea Liverlight Pill could treat high blood pressure, or I wouldn''t have let anyone take away the form."

Matthew snorted. "You have high blood pressure too. Besides causing Mr. Lancaster''s death, you made things worse for yourself. You deserve it."

Levi was bbergasted. Mitch had already passed away because of high blood pressure, and he knew he was staring at the same fate.

Thinking about it, Levi felt a chill run down his spine. With a hopeful tone, he asked, "If I take Liverlight Pill, will my condition get better?"

Matthew disapprovingly shook his head. Why was Levi still doubting it at his stage?

"You still don''t trust my words, huh? Jerome offered me 10 million dors and begged for me to treat him. Do you think he''s stupid?"

Levi was in deep thought. The old Jerome was a sly fox, and he wouldn''t go for it unless he was confident it''d work. The fact that Jerome was willing to pay proved that Matthew was genuinely skilled in medicine.

So, Levi straight-up decided to get the form back. It wasn''t for the others but for his own sake. "Alright. Let''s hurry up and get the form back. I still need to go back home for the funeral."

Matthew hit the gas and kept driving. Meanwhile, Levi sat in the backseat with a mix of emotions. One moment he looked heartbroken, the next he seemed anxious, sighing every now and then.

Mitch was no longer with Levi. His future looked bleak, and he also had high blood pressure. To make matters worse, he was forced to visit the Fuller family for the form. Whether he got it or not, it''d still offend them.

The car drove on the road for a while when Levi suddenly said, "How about this, Mr. Grant? When we reach Keh''s ce, don''t reveal your identity or purpose right away. Just tell them you''re my chauffeur.

"As I head over to get the form, you knock me out as soon as they open the safe. Then you can ask Keh for the form back."

Matthew simply kept driving. He heard what Levi said but chose not to reply.

Seeing that Matthew was quiet, Levi felt anxious, I''m doing my part to cooperate with you, Mr. Grant. I hope you''ll leave a door open for me as well if you don''t take me down, they will think I''m with you. After this, I''ll be in a lot of trouble

Matthew responded, "Fine. I''ll go along with it."

Levi''s face lit up with joy. "Thanks. Honestly, if you don''t pretend to be my chauffeur, you won''t be getting into the vi at all. Helping me out makes things easier for you too. It''s all give and take."

Matthew didn''t say a thing and just continued driving onward. After passing through Nacrene, he continued south for a few hundred feet.

Eventually, he pulled over at the entrance of a vi at the foot of a mountain. Looking at the iron gate, Matthew understood what Levi meant by not being able to enter the vi.

The gate was ten feet tall, and itpletely sealed off the entrance. The wires on top made it obvious that it was electrified. Barbed wire even ran along the top of the wall,

showing how secure the ce was.

Levi said, "Time to get out of the car. We aren''t allowed to drive inside the vi."

"Mmhm," Matthew responded. After stepping out of the car, he trailed behind Levi.

A small door at the iron gate creaked open. A burly man called out, "Wee in, Mr. Lancaster."

Smiling, Levi asked, "The person beside me is my chauffeur. Can hee in with me?"

The burly man looked at Matthew with suspicion and replied, "Hold on. Let me ask about that."

After taking a call, he turned to Levi and warned, "Feel free to bring your chauffeur along, but he''d better be someone you trust who can keep his lips sealed."

Levi nodded. "Rx. If I don''t trust him, he won''t be my chauffeur." Matthew quietly followed behind Levi. When Levi headed inside, he followed suit as well. Upon entering the yard, he noticed how elegantly designed it was.
