    Handing Rei over to the king ofLiones,Meliodaswalked over to the holy knights.


    "All right everyone! We''re going to have a mock battle and all of you are going to fire your abilities at me."Meliodassaid which enraged some of the holy knights as it seemed like Meliodas was looking down on them.


    "AH? Arrogant kid, I''m enough to deal with you." A holyknightsaid walking up toMeliodas.


    Without even looking at him,Meliodasswung his hand and theknightwent through a pir.


    Seeing this, the other holy knights quickly went on guard againstMeliodas.


    "It''s alright, all of you fight him seriously." KingLionessaid with a stroke of his beard as he held Rei who is watching seriously to try gainMeliodas'' Full counter.


    Hearing this,all of theknights put on a serious face as they could tell from the King''s voice that he held huge trust inMeliodas''strenght.


    Gathering energy, they started to fire off all of their abilities. An array of energy could be seen firing off in the air asmeliodasonly smiled at theiingattacks.


    "Full counter."Meliodassaid simply as he waved his sword and the energy shot back towards their respective knights shocking them. Rei on the other hand could see thatMeliodashad used the momentum of the energy and the space around it to push it back towards the knights.


    ''I see.... I can''t believe I forgot that I can use space like that.'' Rei mentallyfacepalmedhimself.

    "You want them to firean abilityat you?"Meliodasasked seeing Rei do the gesture.


    Rei nodded as he forgot hewas supposedto bea one year old.Meliodaswas slightly suspicious at the act ofintelligencebut decided to hold off on the suspicions for now.

    "Even so, I wont risk it." Theknightcontinued to refuse causing Rei to frown slightly before struggling out of the kings hug and waddled over toMeliodas. He then pointed at the knight and gestured back to him andMeliodas.


    "See he''s fine with it."Meliodaschuckled seeing Rei''s movements.


    "Fine but get someone else to do it. I refuse to use my ability against a child even ifyour protectinghim." The knight said as he turned away.meliodaslooked at the other knights at training area who avoided his gaze.

    "Sorry buddy."Meliodascrouched down to Rei who was frowning as he wanted totry outfull counter as soon as possible.


    "Meliodas." A voice suddenly spoke out.


    "Merlin!"Meliodassaid turning around to Merlin.


    "I can do you this favour seen as though this child here knows what he''s doing." Merlin said as her gaze bore into Rei who started to have cold sweat run on his back.


    "Ok take it easy on the small guy ok?"Meliodassaid as he stepped behind Rei toensurenothing goes wrong.


    "Ok,fire ball." Merlin said simply as a smallfire ballshot towards Rei.


    ''Full counter.'' Rei though as he reflected the energy back easily causing Merlinto beslightly shocked as she didn''t expect Rei to use full counter.


    "Hou~ How much can youreflect." Merlin said as she fired another attack but boosted slightly with the use of her infinity ability.


    Rei sawthe use ofthe infinity ability but decided to ignore that for now as he could feel that this attack may go through the upper limit of his current Full Counter. Using the ability once more, they could see Rei send backa portion ofit before the rest broke through and attacked Rei. BeforeMeliodascould react, Rei started to eat theenergyattack in a state of panic.

    Rei burped slightly as he finished eating that hefty meal of his.


    "Oh? You ate that attack." Merlin said with her curiosity peaked.Maliodason the other hand was even more confused as he had seen Rei eat energy in such asmannerbefore when he had used his dark element to attack him out of his anger, which to this day he still felt guilty for trying to kill a surviving kid.


    Rei sat down tired as he realised that himright nowcould only use a smallportionof the abilities he gainedthrough the use ofThe End until he get''s stronger.Meliodaspicked Rei up as he could see that Reiis tiredafter his stunt.     Seeing Rei fall asleep,Meliodastook him away from the area with Merlin and the king.


    "What was that?" The king asked as he could see Rei copyingMeliodas'' ability.


    Shaking his head,Meliodasreplied with,


    "No idea, but it seem''s like when he see''s an ability. He is able to copy them granted at a lower power output since he is still a childright now."


    "Then do you know why he is able to eat energy and covert it over for himself?" Merlin asked clearly curious about Rei''s all demon/god yer magic.


    "No but I seen him use this before 1 year ago when I found him inDanafor."Meliodassaid hinting at Merlin on how Rei was able to eat his demon powers.


    Merlin''s face grew serious as she knew what this implied. When Rei grows up, he would be the perfect counter for the 1mandments.


    "So what do you n for him?" Merlin asked.


    "I think I''ll adopt him."Meliodassaid as he looked at the sleeping Rei.


    "Wait are you sure? Isn''t this too much of a jump?" Merlin said quickly.


    "I owe him too much for what I have done.
