    At the very moment Valyr recognized the book that Vaughn was holding, his eyes widened in surprise as his face was unable to disguise the immense shock he felt.


    ''Who knew I''d be able to get my hands on it this way?'' thought the young man to himself as all of his attention was glued towards the book, inwardly chuckling at the absurdity of this situation.


    At the same time, he felt an immense amount of disbelief, prompting him to pinch himself a couple times to prove that he wasn''t dreaming.


    Feeling the radiating pain from the few pinches he did to his skin with all of his strength, it was through there that he confirmed that he wasn''t dreaming at all.


    "For your second reward…" ying a bit with the book he had brought out, Vaughn let out a bit ofughter as he introduced Valyr to his next reward.


    "Since you''ve already begun toprehend the 1st Volume of the Outer Realm Scripture, I suppose it makes sense for you to beginprehending the 1st Volume of the Inner Realm Scripture as well.


    "How…" Valyr uttered in response, only to be left at aplete loss for words as a myriad number of thoughts went on in his mind.


    Recalling how he had obtained the 1st volume of the Outer Realm Scripture, Valyr could not help but feel like the 1st volume of the Inner Realm Scripture was just being handed to him on a silver tter.


    After all, to obtain the Outer Realm Scripture, he had forged a few weapons that had been sold for a decent amount of money.


    Then, using that money, as well as some additional money from the cksmith Guild through Julian, he was able to get his hands on the archaic-looking book.


    But that was only because none of the other people attending the auction had any clue as to what that archaic-looking book was.

    Its price would have been driven high to a point where Valyr wouldn''t even be able to bid.


    "How did I get my hands on this?" said Vaughn, finishing what Valyr wanted to say.


    Seeing Valyr nod in response, the man nodded back with a smile. "Well, I bought it from an auction sometime in the past. In any case, it''s just an extra copy I hadying around, so I don''t mind giving it to you."


    "…An extra copy?" Hearing those wordse out of the man''s mouth, Valyr felt something inside him snap as he looked at the man with a nk expression.


    Fortunately, Vaughn had good reasons why he had an extra copy, stimting the energy within his body before allowing most of it to course through his skin.

    Within seconds, a denseyer of convoluted paths appear on the surface of Vaughn''s skin, giving off an oppressive aura as it radiated a faint cyan light.


    Looking at these paths that glowed cyan, Valyr swiftly snapped back to reality as he immediately understood what he was looking at.


    Seeing that he had caught his attention, a faint smile emerged on Vaughn''s lips as he willed a bit more energy to course through his skin.

    With that, anotheryer of convoluted paths began to manifest on the man''s skin, seemingly upying the spots that hadn''t been upied by the cyan paths.


    However, unlike the oppressive aura the cyan paths were giving off, these paths gave off an all-epassing aura instead as it glowed a deep crimson, making one feel like the owner of the paths was a sovereign of sorts.


    Watching Vaughn''s skin be filled with both the cyan paths and the crimson paths, it did not take long for Valyr to understand, recalling the paths that covered the skin of the only yer to unite the three scriptures as one.


    Taking a deep breath topose himself from the shock, the young man looked at Vaughn and asked, "Is that… the full Outer and Inner Realm Scripture?"


    "Precisely so." Vaughn grinned as he nodded. "I encountered the 1st volume of the Outer Realm Scripture not long after I was naturally kicked out of Veldanyr."


    "Seeing its effects, I eventually found myself collecting all three volumes of it, as well as the volumes that corresponded to the Inner Realm Scripture."


    "While doing so, I''d collected a few extra copies along the way," said Vaughn, only to look at Valyr with an apologetic smile. "Unfortunately, the only extra copies I have of the two scriptures are thest volume of the Outer Realm Scripture…"


    "And the one you see before you."


    Nodding at those words, Valyr looked at the book once more, noticing that its cover appeared noticeably better than the dpidated appearance that the 1st volume of the Outer Realm Scripture he got.


    Looking at the various characters that were scribbled on it, the young man immediately confirmed that it was indeed the 1st Volume of the Inner Realm Scripture.


    Though, what truly confirmed it was the fact that the cyan paths he had engraved onto his skin far in the past seemed to be passively resonating with the book''s existence.


    "Alright then. Let''s proceed with integrating the Inner Realm Scripture through you first before we move onto your third reward."


    "But before that…" Allowing the Inner Realm Scripture to hover where it first appeared, Vaughn moved closer as strands of energy began to manifest on the man''s fingertips.


    "Mind if you let me take a look at your Outer Realm Scripture?"


    Hearing those words, Valyr immediately understood what Vaughn wanted to do, prompting him to stimte some of the energy to course throughout his skin.


    At the same time, he brought out the 1st volume of the Outer Realm Scripture he bought from the auction out of his spatial bracelet.

    Seeing that the foundation for the cyan paths had already beenid out on the young man''s skin, only to see that he had also brought out his copy of the Outer Realm Scripture, a faint smile appeared on Vaughn''s face as he took a look at both.


    Making use of a bit of his energy, the man flipped through the pages making up the 1st volume of Valyr''s copy.


    Then, manipting the strands of energy on his fingertips, he took a look at the cyan paths Valyr had alreadyid out.

    Feeling that he''d gotten a better idea of the cyan paths Valyr hadid out, Vaughn nodded in understanding as he condensed the strands of energy he''d conjured into a knife of sorts.


    "I''ll make sure to finish this as quickly as possible, but this will probably sting."


    Taking in a deep breath, Valyr soon closed his eyes as he gritted his teeth for what was toe.


    "Go ahead."

    At the very moment Vaughn began to use the knife he conjured to carve paths on Valyr''s body, the young man was immediately bombarded with an immense feeling of pain that covered his entire body.


    For the first few seconds, the young man was able to bear with it, feeling the man swiftly carve out extensions that led to the original cyan paths he''d carved on his skin.


    However, out of nowhere, the amount of pain immediately intensified to an rming degree.


    Ding!


    With that, by the time a notification sound resounded from his system…


    Valyr had fallen unconscious.
