    “Since she refused to admit it at noon, she naturally isn’t going to do it now,” replied Huo Yao mildly.


    Liu Qian’s face twitched. Was this what he wanted to hear?


    Couldn’t she take a leaf out of Jiang Mingyue’s book and pretend to be vulnerable?


    Liu Qian touched his forehead. Never mind. He raised his head to look at Qi Hui. “You might not believe me, but theputer data log can’t lie, right?”


    All theputers in theboratories contained three months’ worth of data records, so Liu Qian was unworried.


    The moment Liu Qian finished his sentence, Huo Yao nced at him quietly.


    Mr. Liu was certainly adorably naive today.


    Qi Hui finally turned around. He had already checked repeatedly with Jiang Mingyue and was certain that Huo Yao did not do any prior calction, so he simply waved his hand. “Then find it.”


    This was simply annoying. Did they have to go through all this fuss just for using an idea?


    Qi Huiposed himself and added. “If we are unable to find it, then you have to answer for this. It just so happens Prof Zhao is around to serve as a witness.”


    “That goes without saying. What are you going to do about it when we finally prove that your student has giarized?” Liu Qian was no longer afraid of Qi Hui.


    He had already offended Qi Hui before. Would it make a difference topletely tear off his face now?


    Qi Hui initially did not take it to heart, but he could not help narrowing his eyes when he detected Liu Qian’s confidence. He raised his head to nce at Jiang Mingyue once more.


    Jiang Mingyue clenched her fists before she gritted her teeth and said, “I came up with the calctions on my own. There was no such thing as giarism.”


    Qi Hui looked at her profoundly before shifting his eyes. He said calmly, “In that case, let’s go to theboratory and settle this once and for all.”


    The moment he finished his sentence, Qi Hui walked out.


    Liu Qian furrowed his brows.


    From the moment Qi Hui and Jiang Mingyue came in, they refused to admit the truth. Even after they were told about the data records, they were unafraid. The same thing must have crossed their mind as well.


    They had probably deleted the data record!


    “Hang on,” said Liu Qian.


    Qi Hui halted in his steps briefly before turning to look at Liu Qian. “What now? Are you having trouble keeping up the act?”


    “You must have deleted the data record, right?” asked Liu Qian deeply.


    Qi Hui touched his brow. “You were the ones who brought up the data record, but now you insist it was deleted. Enough already!”


    Qi Hui acted as though he was having a headache. He walked up to Zhao Lian altogether. “Prof Zhao, you must say something. Do you think it makes sense for a year two student to steal an idea from a first year student?”


    Zhao Lian slowly put down the teacup and did not answer Qi Hui. Instead, he looked at Huo Yao as she stood there and said airily, “I don’t get it. Just look at what they are doing to you. Aren’t you even going to put up a struggle?”


    The moment he finished his sentence, Qi Hui was stunned.


    What did Zhao Lian mean by that?


    What did he mean by what they were doing to her? What did he mean by putting up a struggle?


    Before Qi Hui could wrap his mind around what he said, Huo Yao sighed deeply.


    Her exquisite features looked rxed. She was dressed in a ck sweater. Her sleeves were rolled up to reveal a bit of her wrist with her fingers moving slightly. “It certainly isn’t easy to sit around and do nothing.. Even if I try to stay low-key, people are out to get me.”
