Chapter 409 – Jasmine Finally Returned


    Jasmine paused not knowing what response to give him.


    "If you are ill then you can tell me, we will visit the doctor together and get a prescription," Jackson said as he stretched his hand to touch her forehead. He became slightly rxed when he realised that she wasn''t running temperature.


    "I am not sick like you think. I am just watching my weight that is why I am picking out some of the side dishes….,"


    "You are watching your weight?" Jackson asked not believing what she said. "But some of the dishes you pick out are not food with plenty calories," Jackson said staring at her suspiciously.


    "I am fine, Ice Prince. Stop treating me like a sick person ok?" Jasmine said with a smile as she touch his face.


    They continued eating for a few minutes. When they stopped eating Jasmine insisted they did the dishes since the maids were not around and Jackson agreed.


    When it was time to leave Jackson assisted her with wearing her brown jacket. He also wore a brown matching jacket too.


    On the lonely road, Jasmine sitting on the passenger side at the front seat made the roof of the car open.


    "Yay!!!" Jasmine standing inside the car shouted with smiles, spreading her hands in the air.


    "Miss Naughty, be careful not to get hurt hmm," Jackson cautioned but the happy Jasmine continued to do what she wanted.


    "I am so happy!!! I can''t wait to see everyone once again!'' Jasmine shouted in delight. Jackson often steals a secret nce at her, he couldn''t help but smile along with his happy woman. He wished he wasn''t the one driving then he would have yed with her.


    While Jasmine ys Jackson concentrates all his attention on the road. Thest thing he wants is for her to get hurt because of him.


    The ride was very fun for the couple. Jasmine onlyposed herself when they got to busy roads.


    When they set foot into Jackson''s sitting room, Jasmine was surprised to see all the maids and guards lined up all in their uniforms.


    "Wee back Madam, boss," They greeted in one ord.


    "Happy New Year Madam, boss," all the employees chorused with smiles on their faces.


    "Wow!" Jasmine remarked beaming as her eyes darted from one employee to the other.


    "I don''t know whether it is because I haven''t seen all of you in a while but all of you seem to have be more handsome and beautiful," Jasmineplimented still maintaining her smiles.


    Jackson''s employees couldn''t resist smiling at her beautiful jokes.


    "I guess Madam''s return is responsible for all this," Lilian replied in a yful tone. Jasmine turned to face Jackson after addressing them.


    "Ice Prince, weren''t they supposed to go on Holidays during the festive periods so why is it that they are all here?" Jasmine asked curiously. Jackson stare at his employees smiling faces, hesitating to say the real reason why he didn''t give them holidays like he normally did.


    "Indeed they normally go on holidays at this time of the year but because I missed you too much after you left, Ipletely forgot about them…," Jackson trailed seeing her frowning face.


    "Also, Lilian didn''t remind me about their normal holidays," Jackson tried to shift the me to Lilian seeing that his woman was angry.


    "You… I don''t even know the perfect words to scold you with," Jasmine said shaking her head. She turned to face the employees still maintaining their previous position.


    "Guys, you all should have gone on holiday since Christmas Eve but unfortunately your boss forgot about it and I am to be med for this," Jasmine said in an apologetic tone.


    All the employees were surprised that Jasmine apologised to them. She even admitted fault for something she wasn''t responsible for.


    Almost all the wealthy Sirs and Madams they have worked for never ept responsibilities for what they did wrong not to mention apologising to their employees.


    Why would they apologise or ept their faults when they see their employees as dogs and not humans.


    "Aspensation for this, your boss card will be at your disposal. Purchase whatever gifts you want for yourself and all your family members. Don''t hold back because it is your boss card you are using. Buy as much as you want because when you return you are going home to your various families," Jasmine said to the shock and excitement of everyone present there. They all couldn''t believe their ears.


    "This will be our Christmas gifts to you and your families so do as your Madam says. Anyone who holds back from purchasing whatever he/she wants because he is afraid of me will be punished by me," Jackson said smiling at his woman. He knew none of them will dare disobey Jasmine''s orders now that he had spoken.


    "Thank you, boss," All of them said in unison. Their happiness knew no bounds.


    "All of you will leave for home the moment you return from purchasing your desired stuff but Lilian and Keh will remain with us," Jackson added. The once smiling Lilian and Keh stopped smiling. They couldn''t believe that their dream of getting freebies were dashed by their boss sentence.


    "The two of you will go on your vacation after the others had returned. I can''t afford to leave the house empty without a single maid or chef. I will also give you both my card for shopping when it is your turn to go on holiday," Jackson said to the delight of Lilian and Keh, the chef. Even Jasmine who wanted toin earlier was pleased by his decision.


    "Lilian, follow me to collect the card upstairs," Jackson said before he hold Jasmine''s hands. The two of them climb the stairs holding onto each other''s hands.


    After collecting the ck card, Lilian excited their room. She went downstairs to give the card to the others.


    "That was such a great move there Ice Prince. I almost scolded you back there for being so mean to Lilian and Keh," Jasmine said her mind when it was just the two of them. She sat on the bed and took off her red high heels.
