    Chapter 614: Chapter 614 - Tempest''s Fury

Livelywood strolled slowly as he wandered through the House of Slumdon. Along the way, he passed the vibrant flower garden that Yara had lovingly tended for months. "Hi, Lord Livelywood…" came Yara''s sudden voice from amidst the flowers. "Ah!" Livelywood jumped slightly, startled, before breaking into an awkward grin. "Hi, Yara…" Yara stepped closer. "Hi. So, what do you think of my garden?" Livelywood hesitated, looking a bit unsure of how to respond. "It''s… it''s beautiful," he said, his gaze shifting between the garden and her. "Oh really?" Yara teased. "Is it the flowers, or is it me?" She giggled softly. "Ah, um… the flowers," Livelywood replied, clearly flustered, scratching the back of his head.

Livelywood nodded politely before continuing toward the cksmith workshop. Once he was out of earshot, he let out a deep sigh, shaking his head at the unexpected exchange.

Livelywood once again wanted to confirm that Broken was still working on the weapon he had requested. Yet, as had been the case every other time he visited the workshop, Broken was nowhere to be found. Deciding to wait, Livelywood made his way back to the garden and settled on a long iron bench with a clear view of the cksmith workshop. From there, he could watch for Broken''s return. Meanwhile, Yara continued tending to her flowers, cheerfully watering them with care. "Lord Livelywood, did you know I''m studying magic?" Yara called out suddenly.

Livelywood nced at her but quickly looked away, feeling awkward. He was never quitefortable talking with cheerful, outgoing women like Yara. Despite being the same age, his limited interactions with women left him feeling inept in such situations. "Ah, yes… how''s it going? I''m sure you''re learning quickly…"

Yara approached him, her face lit with a bright smile that only made Livelywood more flustered. "I heard you''re a very skilled swordsman," she said. "Could you give me some tips on how to learn something quickly and efficiently?" "Ah… yes, um… maybe the key is to practice continuously," Livelywood replied hesitantly. "I think that''s the most important thing." "I see!" Yara eximed. "Then I''ll have to reduce my sleep hours! I want to make Lord Broken proud." Before Livelywood could respond, she spun around and returned to her flowers, humming a cheerful rain-summoning song as she watered them.

"Did I just give her the wrong advice?" Livelywood murmured quietly.

Momentster, Elincia strolled into the garden and sat beside him. She nced at his face, noting his flustered demeanor, and let out a smallugh. "Hi, Elincia."

"Are you taken aback by Yara''s overwhelming cuteness, Livelywood?"

    "Uh… no… I''m just here waiting for Broken…"

"She is absolutely adorable… I don''t think Broken would begrudge you for making a move on her," Elincia said teasingly.

Before he could muster a reply, the wait was over. Yara suddenly burst out of the workshop with an ecstatic expression, practically sprinting toward Livelywood and Elincia. "Lord Broken has returned!" she eximed breathlessly. "He said he''s in the process ofpleting the sword!" Livelywood jumped to his feet. His face lit up with joy as he responded, "That''s wonderful! I''m so pleased to hear that!"

Elincia and Livelywood rose eagerly, following Yara toward the workshop.

Inside, Broken nced up briefly, offering them a warm smile before turning back to his work.

Livelywood smiled nervously, unsure of whether to speak. Elincia leaned in and whispered, "Let''s wait and see!" The workshop was quiet and still, save for the rhythmic sound of Broken''s hammer striking the glowing metal. After a while, Broken paused, wiping sweat from his brow before casting a nce to the two. "I''m almost done.

Elincia and Livelywood exchanged a look before stepping closer to get a better view of the nearlypleted sword. "It''s beautiful," Elincia whispered.

    "Yes," Livelywood agreed.

Broken turned back to them, a confident smile spreading across his face. "I''m sure this will be Legendary-grade. I''ve put everything into it…. precision, dedication, and care." Livelywood''s face immediately grew tense. "No… Unique-grade is more than enough for me…" Elincia smirked. "Oh, but a Legendary-grade sword would be fascinating, wouldn''t it? Surely, you can afford it, Livelywood." Livelywood shook his head. "Hopefully… Hopefully, it''s not Legendary."

Time seemed to stretch endlessly as they watched Broken perform the final hammer strokes with precision and skill. Then, in a decisive moment, thest hammer strike resounded through the workshop.

A brilliant burst of energy radiated from the sword, signaling thepletion of its crafting. The dazzling disy filled the room.

Broken''s face fell in disappointment, while Livelywood exhaled deeply. The luminous hue surrounding the sword: green. "Haha, I''m more than happy with this."

"Damn," Broken muttered, shaking his head. "When I genuinely hoped for it to be Legendary, it still didn''t happen." Elincia chimed in. "Well, I can understand why someone as ''broken'' as you would have such high expectations." [Tempest''s Fury]

    [...]

The sword was breathtaking, its de featuring a semi-transparent center that gleamed a brilliant blue, surrounded by a soft, light green aura that added to its stunning appearance. "I''m certain this sword suits you and your fighting style perfectly, Livelywood," Broken said with a faint smile. "I suppose it''s time to discuss the price, isn''t it?" Elincia chimed in.

"Indeed!" Livelywood replied enthusiastically. "I''ll make sure to pay for it!" Elincia leaned in slightly, adding, "I have an estimate in mind, but I''d like to share the weapon details with the guild to gather some opinions. Would you be alright with that, Broken?"

"No problem," Broken replied without hesitation. Livelywood immediately shared the sword''s information in the guild chat, and the responses came quickly. "Wow, this is incredible! I''m bidding 500 gold pieces for it, Broken!" Booba said.

"Are you out of your mind?" Elincia shot back. "You won''t even be able to use this sword, you idiot! You''re not a wind element."

"I can''t wait for my turn!" RememberMe chimed in. "I want a new sword too!"

"It''s obvious this item''s description has caught my attention as well," Jovinamented.

Elincia interjected, "Keep in mind, Livelywood also provided the materials and the blueprint for this sword." Broken spoke up. "I''m fully aware of Livelywood''s contributions. He gave me the Fae Soul Stone, his help during the war, and much more. Considering all of that, I believe 200 gold is a fair price." Livelywood said. "Please, Broken, I''m not asking for a discount. I''m ready to pay the appropriate amount."

"Khi khi khi," Goldrich chimed in. "I think 200 gold is too low, Broken… It doesn''t seem enough to value your potential and the time you''ve invested on it." Elincia added. "Exactly. We all want the chance tomission weapons from you, Broken. Setting a reasonable price will ensure you''re willing to continue takingmissions." Broken pondered for a moment before responding. "Alright then, 300 gold. I think that''s fair."

    "I agree," Livelywood said.

    "Deal," Broken concluded.

Livelywood felt a wave of relief and satisfaction wash over him, a smile spreading across his face. Atst, he had acquired a weapon he could fully utilize to its potential. With that settled, he took a deep breath, his form fading away as he logged out, leaving the sword resting safely in the room.
