    Chapter 21: He Ate So Well, Yet Her Babies Were Deprived

    The Next Day


    Li An’an had been avoiding Bai Feifei all day, but in the afternoon, she was still cornered.


    “Li An’an, stop right there. You must be very happy that I didn’t manage to punish you yesterday. Are youughing at me behind my back? Despicable wretch. You don’t deserve to stay here at all. Everywhere you walk and everything you’ve wiped feel dirty!”


    Li An’an ced her hand by her ear.


    “What did you say? I didn’t hear you clearly. Say it again. I got water in my ears when I was showeringst night. Everything sounds fuzzy.”


    “I said you’re despicable! You dirty everything you touch!”


    “Oh, you feel dirty? Then go take a shower. That should clean you up. Now that you mention it, when you speak, I do actually feel that it stinks.”


    Li An’an smiled evilly as she fanned herself with her hand.


    “Damn it, how dare you mock me!”


    Bai Feifei was livid. She had led avish lifestyle since she was young. No one had ever dared to bully her like this.


    Li An’an withdrew her smile. “Bai Feifei, let me warn you. You’ve already been caught once by the butler yesterday. If you continue to cause trouble, you’ll definitely be chased out. It’ll be toote for regrets by then.”


    Bai Feifei knew that was her Achilles’ heel. She red at Li An’an.


    “Hmph, just you wait. You’ll be out of here by tomorrow!”


    Bristling with hatred, Bai Feifei left.


    “Then we’ll talk when you can actually make that happen!”


    Li An’an wasn’t afraid of her.


    At Night


    She was working overtime again. Li An’an had alreadymunicated with the principal, who agreed to take care of the children for a few more hours when she was busy, so that she could work in peace. Li An’an was very grateful! It was always thanks to the kind people around her that she was able to raise the three babies well.


    Chu Yichen came back from the office at 7 o’clock, his exhaustion evident. The Chu family business was extensive, and he was very busy every day.


    In the huge dining room, the servants stood in a row. Chu Yichen ate alone. The food was sumptuous, but he did not eat much. Some of the expensive dishes were only tasted once, while others were as good as table decorations.


    Li An’an sighed when she saw hisck of appetite.


    Her babies had never eaten that king crab before. There were also cocktail prawns. Her children loved them, but he didn’t even touch them. There was salmon, which was very nourishing. Her babies rarely had the chance to eat it. Nothing seemed appetizing to him, and the more she looked, the angrier she became.


    After dinner, Chu Yichen went upstairs while Li An’an helped Auntie Zhang with the cleanup.


    “You can take this king crab home.”


    Auntie Zhang picked out the crab meat for her and put it in a disposable box.


    “Really?”


    “Of course. We can’t waste it. The food here is never kept overnight!”


    Auntie Zhang told her amiably.


    Li An’an happily put it into her bag.


    Bai Feifei suddenly walked in and looked down her nose at her.


    “Penniless wretch! I can’t believe you’re scavenging something so worthless. What a hick! You’re only fit to be a trash collector!”


    Li An’an was furious! She really wanted to teach her a lesson!


    Auntie Zhang was worried that the two of them would start fighting. She pulled Li An’an away and told her, “An’an, don’t be rash. You’re not supposed to fight here. Your sry will be deducted.”


    On hearing that, Li An’an finally calmed down.


    “Auntie Zhang, prepare a ss of freshly pressed apple juice for me. I want to send it to Young Master.”


    Seeing that Li An’an couldn’ty a finger on her, Bai Feifei smugly went to the living room to wait.


    Auntie Zhang hurriedly prepared the juice for Bai Feifei, and she left haughtily.


    Staring at her retreating back, Li An’an felt like throwing up!


    “Li An’an, take this ss of water upstairs to Young Master’s bedroom.”


    Butler Chu suddenly called out to her. Young Master had called him just now and requested a ss of water.


    “Me?”


    “Yes, you. Now hurry upstairs!”


    Li An’an wasn’t too happy about it. Bai Feifei had already brought him apple juice. What was she going to do up there? Brawl with her?
