    Nameless(in thought): Who is she?!

    Girl: Benn! You’re awake!

*Girl runs and jumps onto Benn’s arms, crying*

Girl: My God, I thought you’d never wake up.

Benn (in thought): Who is this? Is she important to me in some way? Is she a relative? A friend? Maybe I should ask.

Benn: Umm... sorry but do I know you?

    Girl: It’s me, Amy.

    *Benn blankly stares at her*

Amy: You really don’t remember me?

Benn: Sorry, but I seem to be suffering from amnesia. No memories whatsoever of who I am. Did I know you before my accident?

Amy: Yeah, I’m your girlfriend remember?

Benn (in inquiry): I’m sorry but… girlfriend?

Amy: Yeah. We had been going out about a month before your accident.

    Benn: I’m sorry but… I can’t seem to remember anything…

Amy:  It’s (tears coming into her eyes)… okay.

Benn:  Wait I have a question.

    Amy: Sure, anything.

Benn: Were you… were you there the day of the accident?

Amy (In hesitation): No, but I was actually the first to find you in the alleyway… umm can you excuse me for a second? I need to take some fresh air.

    Benn: Wai-

*Amy leaves the room and closes the door, Benn is left alone in the white walled room*

Benn: Damn, just had to ask didn’t I? I should probably say sorry when she comes back. Maybe afterwards she could tell me about myself.

*Amy walks back inside the room, eyes red from crying*

    Benn: Hey.

    Amy: Hey.

    Benn: You… uhh… okay?

    Amy: Yeah I’m fine.

    Benn: Sorry for asking…

    Amy: No it’s okay.

    *Awkward moment of silence*

Benn: Do you think you could tell me about myself and us? Maybe if you did I could be able to remember what type of person I was.

Amy: Sure…  Let’s see… Your name is Benn. Obviously. Spelled with two ns by the way.

    Benn: Alright.

The college you go to is a couple of blocks away from it. We started going out a month before you know. We met each other at a party.

Benn: Wait, wh-what about my family? Where are they in all of this? I mean, they seriously don’t care about me that much to not worry if I’m in the hospi-

Amy: Both of your parents and your younger sister died in a car accident two years ago. Other than me, there isn’t anyone who would be called to come to the hospital.

Benn: wait wait wait wait. So you''re saying that the only person in my family left is me?

Amy: Yes, I’m sorry for telling you this right after knowing you have am-

    Benn: Get out.

    Amy: What?

    Benn: Get out.

    Amy: What do you me-

Benn: I mean get the fuck out!

Benn: I DON’T CARE! GET OUT! NOW! I DON’T WANT TO TALK TO YOU RIGHT NOW! PLEASE JUST GET OUT! I  just want some time alone to think ok? So please just leave.

    *Moment of silence*

    Amy: Ok I’ll leave.

    Benn: Thank you.

    *Amy leaves*

Benn: Oh god, first the news about amnesia, now this? Fuck.

Benn inner-monologue: After some time, after the anger passed, I was a little confused as to how I was supposed to feel. I couldn’t feel sad about their deaths because, when it happened I probably cried my eyes out, so what would be the point in crying this time? And how was I supposed to react to people who were technically strangers? But I knew I couldn’t just leave it at just not doing anything. After a couple of minutes of debating over it, a thought came to my head. I should try to remember them and then go from there. I mean, they were my family. After about an hour or so of trying to remember, I noticed something on my wrist that I didn’t really take notice before.

*looks down at his wrist, sees bracelet*

    Benn: hmm what’s this?

    *takes off the bracelet*

Benn: Hmm looks pretty nice. Maybe it’s something from my fam-

Benn inner-monologue: At that point in mid-sentence things started to come in full force about my family.(pictures of his family) I remembered Scarlet, my little sister. I remembered how at odds we always were, always fighting over the smallest thing, (scene of two kids fighting over a plate, and then the plate being destroyed) and in my defense she would not let go of that plate. I remembered my parents, John and Susie; I  remembered how much I loved them, and how much I enjoyed being their son.

And before I knew it, I was crying.
