GETTING A SAPPHIRE

A demon came out of the shadows behind them and captured Lucinda without Ralph''s knowledge. The demon dragged her into the wall of the volcano. Lucinda flinched in fear that she had been kidnapped by Lucifer when she realized it was a demon. He pushed her against the wall of an enclosed area in the volcano; she could feel the sharp edges of the precious stones on her head.

"My queen, I can''t let you endanger your life with that human," the demon muttered.

"Did I say I couldn''t protect myself? Did my husband ask you to do this?" Lucinda asked him.

"Yes, and we have nned to kill the human with the help of other powerful demons." The demon replied.

"I don''t think you can kill him because he has an emerald sword." Lucinda muttered. The demon gasped.

"W-Who gave him an emerald sword?" he asked.

"It was my fault. He has an emerald sword. Let me go back before he notices I''m gone." Lucinda said trying to walk through the wall.

"I''m sorry, my queen," the demon said. "I can''t let you go." The demon added and spun her around by the shoulder. She attempted to punch him, but he caught her hand in the air, and another demon appeared next to her. They both overpowered her, holding her two hands, and tied her to a chair that appeared out of nowhere.

"Ahh! I order you to let me go!" She yelled, swaying in her chair.

"Stay here, my queen; it''s for your own good." The demon replied, and they both ignored her and left her there, passing through the wall.

Ralph was already in the volcano, but he was taking baby steps to make sure there weren''t any booby traps in the ce. He finished scanning everywhere with his eyes and paused, as he could only hear his footsteps. He looked back to see that he was alone.

"Lucinda! Lucinda!" He yelled, with panic in his voice, and attempted to go back to the entrance when two demons blocked his path.

"If you want her, you will have to go through us first," the demon said.

Ralph charged forward, angrily wielding the emerald sword, and severing them both at the waist. Their bodies split and fell to the ground. Ralph jumped over their bodies and ran out of the volcano, looking for Lucinda. When he felt someone approaching him from behind, he looked over his shoulder with his eyes blood red. Five demons rushed out of the volcano and started fighting with him. Ralph was fearless, as he was fighting against all of them, swinging his two swords. A demon attacked him from behind, using a sword to cut his back, but his armor protected him. Ralph cut off the necks of two demons and started fighting with the remaining demons.

They continued fighting, and two other demons joined them and used a sharp de to cut Ralph''s back open, tearing his armor and injuring him on the back in the process. Blood started dripping out of the cut. Ralph grunted in pain. All the demons surrounded him, and two of them knocked Ralph''s swords out of his hands and grabbed his hands tightly, holding him in ce while Ralph struggled in their arms. It was him against the world. One of them picked up the emerald sword and attempted to cut Ralph with it.

Ralph swayed, trying to fight back, but he was weakpared to the strength of the demons. When Ralph closed his eyes, the demon smirked and lifted the sword higher to cut off his head. The demon was about to cut off his head when Lucinda jumped out of the volcano and stylishly stabbed the demon in the back. She started fighting with another demon while Ralph stood there looking at her in awe as her hair was flying in a heroic way.

"Catch!" Lucinda shouted and tossed the emerald sword to Ralph. Ralph stepped on one of the demon''s feet, caught the sword, shoved it into the demon''s stomach, and kicked him away by the stomach. He smiled and started fighting behind her, with their backs touching, as they continued fighting the demons, killing every one of them.

"I didn''t know you were a skilled fighter." Ralph remarked.

"I don''t like to brag." Lucinda replied and turned to look at him. He set his hands for her; she ced her leg on his hand and did a backflip, cutting off the heads of the remaining demons. With blood sshing on her beautiful face, shended on the ground, standing on top of two of the demons. She wiped the blood away from her face.Content ? N?velDrama.Org 2024.

"Wow, I am impressed." Ralph beamed, smiling widely at her. Lucinda touched her back and noticed there were blood stains.

"Let''s go back to the office; you are bleeding," she said.

"No, let''s take what we are here for," Ralph said, putting the bloody emerald sword back into the sheath on his waist.

"Ugh! You are so stubborn, the demons I killed will regenerate because I didn''t kill them with the emerald sword." She said bluntly, not caring that he was her boss.

"Don''t worry, we will take care of them," he assured her, walking back into the volcano. Lucinda rolled her eyes, looking at the bodies of the warriors, and followed him into the volcano. They began looking for sapphires everywhere and discovered one in the middle of the volcano.

Ralph noticed a sapphire in the center of the volcano, on which a light was reflecting from a crack in the ceiling. Ralph smiled broadly and approached the sapphire, reaching out his hand to take it from the high ground, when a demon appeared behind him, grabbed the sapphire, and vanished with it.

"Goddamnit!!" Ralphmented, clutching his hand, and took a step backward, copsing in Lucinda''s arms.

"Shit! How can I take him back home?" She murmured, trying to get him to stand up. But he fell back into her arms, his body feeling lifeless. She closed her eyes and tried to teleport for the first time, but it didn''t work. Lucifer hadn''t taught her how to use that ability, and she was craving it; it was part of the reason she was jealous of Ralph.
