Chapter 35:
? ? ? ? ?
Alicia couldn''t bear to watch the recording any longer. Her face turned red with embarrassment as she quickly deleted the video, making sure there was no trace left.
After taking a moment topose herself, she reasoned that Caden had left early and hadn''te around since. Surely, he must have seenst night as a one-time thing. They were both drunk, after all. It was simply a drunken mistake.
This thoughtforted her a little, but the difort in her body was another story.
Not only did her legs and waist hurt, but there was another spot that throbbed. She remembered how rough Caden had been that first night, how the pain hadsted for days.
Alice was worried that she had hurt herself again.
She went back into the bathroom and stripped down to inspect herself. Some of the marks were deeper than she had expected. There were several bite marks on her waist, lower abdomen and inner thighs, of varying severity.
A wave of shame washed over her as she muttered, “I bit him twice, and he''s retaliating by biting me a dozen times. “What a mean man.”
Upon closer inspection, she saw that despite all the marks, her most sensitive areas were unharmed, albeit a little swollen.
Alice let out a sigh of relief. But then, another thought struck her.
Last night had been so fast. Had they used protection? Alicia realized she didn''t have any condoms at home. Had Caden brought one?
She wasn''t sure. She considered taking the morning-after pill. Although she was hesitant, she feared the possible consequences if she didn''t.
She thought about calling Caden, but she knew his attitude wouldn''t help her.
She preferred to err on the side of caution and decided to take the pill.
After epting what had happened, she quickly got dressed and went out. In addition to the pill, she had to buy an ointment to heal the bruises.
Meanwhile, at the doctor''s office, Caden was sitting in the office. An experienced doctor handed him a report.
?Mr. Ward, after extensive testing, it appears that apart from gic factors, psychological influences y a role in your condition. Unfortunately, too much time has passed and the optimal window for treatment has been missed."
Caden''s face darkened. “Is there no way to cure my problem?”Content (C) N?v/elDra/ma.Org.
The doctor adjusted his sses. “It can be controlled, but medication won''t work. Only physical methods could help, and even then, the chances of sess are slim.”
Caden frowned.
The first time he noticed hisck of interest in women was when he was eighteen.
After his mother passed away, his grandmother saw that he eventually married and had children. It was then that they discovered his extreme obsession with cleanliness. Further tests revealed his strange condition. The Ward family had consulted many renowned doctors, but none could offer a solution. Caden had not been too concerned.
After all, his condition was not dangerous to his health.
But everything changed the night he returned to the country and he and Alicia had sex… repeatedly. After the passion of the previous night, Caden became fully aware of the importance of all this to his situation.
He said: “Recently, I had a strong physical reaction to a woman.”
The doctor paused, his eyes bright with surprise. “That''s a positive sign! Did you have a physical rtionship?”
"We had sex about five or six times one night," Caden said.
The doctor took some notes, but stopped when he wrote the number and crossed it out. It was an unnecessary detail.
Smiling, the doctor said, “It is an unexpected development. It could be the key to her recovery. If you continue to see her, more sexual encounters could lead to improvement.”
Caden''s expression deepened.
"I only answer to her. Can my illness be cured?"
The doctor gave him a curious look. “Why would you want to cure her?”
A sharp glint appeared in Caden''s eyes.
If her unusual condition remained incurable, it wouldn''t be a problem. She had never enjoyed the pleasures of sex before and hadn''t given it much thought.
However, now that he had experienced it, especially with Alicia, it didn''t seem like a positive thing.
The doctor sensed Caden''s concern. It seemed that his rtionship with the woman might not be ideal.
He replied carefully, “In that case, Mr. Ward, perhaps you should wait a little longer while we continue our study.”
Caden gave him a cursory answer.
The doctor remembered something important and added: "One thing you must remember, Mr. Ward. Now that your desires have been awakened, you must never repress them."
Caden furrowed his eyebrows slightly and asked, “What does that mean?”
“You must remain celibate ormit fully. This condition affects your hormonal bnce. If you repress your impulses too much, plications could arise. And if you lose control, it could cause significant pain to your partner.”
Caden was silent.
He stood up and replied indifferently: "That won''t happen."
He wasn''t an animal. He wouldn''t lose control to the point of ignoring the other person''s feelings in bed.
After Caden left the office, Hank, who had been waiting for a long time, quickly asked, "How did it go, Mr. Ward?"
Caden''s expression remained nk. "It was a wasted trip."
The doctor had told him to wait. He had already waited so many years and now he was being made to wait again. It was empty titudes. From that conversation I concluded that his chances of recovery were slim.
As they approached the elevator, Hank leaned in closer and whispered, “Mr. Ward, perhaps it is fate. Ms. Bet is divorced from Mr. Joshua Yates. They are both single now. Why not explore this opportunity?”
Caden gave him a cold look. “What nonsense are you spouting?”
Hank anticipated Caden''s denial and touched his nose in embarrassment. “You spent hours watching here home. Your eyes were red when you got back. “Who would believe you didn’t sleep togetherst night?”
At that moment, the elevator doors opened.
Looking up, Caden saw Alicia standing there.
