Chapter 151:
? ? ? ? ?
Alicia stood still, holding her helmet and staring intently at Caden.
She fought her habit of being neat. "I''ll find someone to adopt him," she dered.
Alice replied firmly: "I want to keep it."
Caden slowed slightly. “I’ll contact the best pet store in Warrington to make sure he’s well taken care of, okay?”Property of N?)(velDr(a)ma.Org.
Alice insisted: "I want to keep it for myself."
Caden''s expression turned stern. “Is that really necessary?”
Alice, determined, replied: "I can rent a ce outside. They won''t bother you."
Caden was silent for a moment before coldly ordering, “Get in.”
Alice''s face lit up and she quickly got on the motorcycle.
She noticed that Caden had agreed to keep the puppy. Smiling, she said, “His teeth are so soft, and it feels soothing when he nibbles on your fingers. Wanna try?”
Caden was shocked and cursed under his breath.
"Get away from me."
They then visited a nearby pet hospital to get the puppy vinated and dewormed, and also picked up puppy form and a number of dog supplies.
Alicia loaded the supplies onto Caden''s motorcycle.
“Take this to the apartment first. “I promised Monica I would spend time with her today, so I have to go.”
Caden looked deeply upset.
The pup, now fed and content, was fast asleep.
Back in the apartment, Caden pulled out the pink pillow Alicia had chosen and frowned.
He ced the puppy on top of him and casually checked his sex.
He was a male.
A pink pillow for a male dog?
He thought he should at least check to see if the puppy wasfortable with him.
After taking care of these tasks, Caden washed and sanitized his hands thoroughly.
By the time I finished, it was well into the evening. He wasn''t ready for bed, though, and sat down at his desk to catch up on some pending work. His grandmother Ciara called out to him.
I picked it up immediately. “What’s wrong, Grandma?”
Ciara looked tired. “I''ve already slept eleven. Why aren’t you resting yet?”
Caden let out a silent sigh of relief.
"I''m working," I muttered.
“Eleven thirty?” Ciara exhaled deeply. “Spend more time with thedies, Caden.”
Caden massaged his temples.
In fact, I had spent a considerable amount of time with Alicia today.
Ciara, restless and unable to sleep, was talkative tonight.
The topic soon changed to her future spouse.
"Come back after Christmas. I want to introduce you to someone. You don''t have to get married, but try to start a rtionship, okay?"
“I’ll be too busy next year,” Caden replied.
"You''re always busy. What do you do all day?"
Caden looked at the pillow nearby.
He quickly came up with an excuse. “I have a dog to take care of now.”
Ciara was surprised. “A dog? “You don’t like pets.”
Caden wasn''t sure what had prompted his agreement to Alicia''s request earlier.
"Maybe I''m not feeling well," I suggested.
Ciara worried. “Sick again? “You’re too fragile for your age.”
I paused briefly, not wanting to prolong the conversation and annoy Ciara further. “How many people are you taking with you to Warrington?”
"None. They don''t know Warrington. I might have to hire bodyguards."
"Okay, I''ll take care of it personally."
When Alice entered Monica''s house, she greeted her with a mocking smile. "Is that handsome biker the guy you''ve been secretly dating?"
Alice cleared her throat awkwardly.
"No, I don''t know him."
"But what brought you here?" Monica raised an eyebrow.
“Sure, I called a rental car service,” Alicia lied smoothly. “He''s just a wealthy young man exploring how normal people live,” she added. Monica let the matter drop.
“Sure, I know you''re shy. Just let me know when you decide to go public.” Monica then added thoughtfully, “Even without seeing his face, I could tell he’s well endowed.” She smiled knowingly. “He reminds me of Caden.”
Alicia was left speechless by thement.
Monica joked: "Why didn''t you kiss her goodbye before you left?"
Alicia felt a tickle on her lips. "I''m going to take a shower, Monica," she replied, quickly leaving the room.
Once in the bathroom, Alicia remembered that she had already showered in Caden''s office that same day.
However, to avoid Monica''s skeptical gaze, he decided to shower again.
Dressed in the revealing nightwear Monica had bought her, Alicia returned with her cheeks tinted red.
Monica, lying on the bed with her chin resting on her hand, looked at her yfully. “Look at that slim waist! Any man would be tempted,” she joked.
Alicia giggled and yfully threw herself onto the bed, wrestling with Monica.
Monica delighted in the contact.
Although they had often shared a bed in the past, physical contact was rare. Alice expected him to tickle her, but he didn''t.
Pausing, he grabbed Monica''s hand and asked seriously, "Do you want to look under my dress?"
Monica''s smile widened mischievously. "Do you want me to?"
Alicia acknowledged, she needed to confirm something.
Monica indulged her for a while before removing her hand. “How soft. “Can I touch your ass too?”
Alice declined and slid under the nket.
Memories of today''s events in Caden''s office flooded her mind, puzzling her as to why Monica''s touch left her unfazed, yet Caden''s presence was overwhelmingly moving.
She bit her lip, feeling trapped by her emotions. Monica, watching her, sneered, “Are you thinking about another man while you''re in my bed?”
Alice''s face turned to a deeper red and she buried herself under the nket.
"No," he muttered under his breath.
