    The sound of an object dropping on the ground rang out as a crimson colored ball slowly rolled towards them.


    "What is that?" the Azure Ranger at the left sought the advice of his colleague as they both watched the crimson colored ball slowly rolled towards them.


    The ball appeared harmless, considering it was merely the size of a tennis ball.


    "A servant must''ve mistakenly dropped it. Sloughtful lot" the Azure Ranger at the left stepped forward as he attempted to pick up the tennis ball when suddenly..

    The tennis ball transformed into a curved dagger, flying into the air as it easily slit the throat of the oblivious Azure Ranger. Before his companion could sound an alarm, the dagger transformed into liquid, before transforming into multiple pins that shot into various parts of his body.


    In under a short span, the Azure Ranger resembled a giant Porcupine.

    A pale figure suddenly materialized behind him as two palm smacked him on both sides of the head, smashing his skull into a bloody mush.

    Rushing into the chambers, he couldn''t bother to admire the interior as he focused his gaze on a particular figure.. the only person present in the whole chamber.


    Seeing her appearance, Aiden was stunned. He had been expecting to see a hulking individual with a large tail swinging behind them. However instead, he ran into a fairy like beauty!


    She was clad in a purple dress that screamed of royalty. There was a red colored flower crown wrapped around her head and her silver white hair that reached all the way to her lower butts swayed even though there was no wind.


    Her face was milky white and flawless. Although Aiden had encountered beautiful Vampires with pale beautiful skin, the beauty before him was a different case entirely! Her eyes were a bright forest green and on her left cheek the symbol of a red crescent, further accentuating her beauty.

    Skidding across the floor, Aiden forced himself to come to a halt as he glared at the female Maester.


    "You are strong" he touched the half of his face that was now missing a layer of flesh and skin. From up close, the skeletal frame of that half could be clearly seen.


    Unfortunately, he couldn''t heal it up because had already run out of HP.


    "You are not bad yourself. You should''ve been a decapitated corpse by now" she flicked her wrist, causing the blood red whip in her grip to release a heart piercing crackle.


    "I don''t want to hurt you.. just come with me" Aiden warned sternly as a pair of lightning boots wrapped around his feet.


    "Oh? what are you?" the Maester pursed her lips in astonishment and intrigue when she saw him cast a Lightning Hex without a prior Hex pattern.

    Aiden shot towards her like a cannon ball. The Maester snorted as she twisted her wrist, causing the red whip to twist towards Aiden''s right leg. Shockingly she was able to react to his speed at such a close distance!


    This shocked Aiden, considering he was using both his Vampiric speed and the one that came with the Lightning Boot skill.


    "Fast!" even though Aiden was the first to make a move, the whip arrived even faster. Abandoning his earlier intentions, he leapt into the air, raising his right arm before swinging it down.


    Essence Swipe!


    Seeing the descending crimson arc, the Maester flicked her wrist calmly, causing the red whip to dance at it shot towards the Essence Swipe, in an attempt to block it.


    Snap!


    However, in the face of Essence Swipe, the blood red whip snapped in half like a soft twig. Although it got destroyed, it still managed to cancel the skill out.


    Ignoring the system notifications ringing within his head, Aiden made a grabbing motion.


    "Come!"


    About six shadowy vines silently shot out from the darkest corner of the chambers, shooting towards the Maester without her being aware.


    Chains of Erebus.. this was one of the skills Aiden was confident in. Nobody had ever escaped being bound by these shadow chains. However casting this skill seemed to suck up quite the amount of his energy.


    "What?" however he soon furrowed his brows in confusion when he saw the Maester leap for the door as she chose to make a quick run for it.

    "I won''t let you!" the lightning boots around his feet flashed brilliantly as he gave chase. At the same time, green energy began to condense around his right arm, taking the shape of a spear.


    As the Syphile Spear formed, Aiden winced regretfully when he saw his energy reduce to half its original amount.


    "I hope this is worth it" noticing the Syphile Spear had successfully taken form, he tossed it towards the fleeing figure in front of him.
